"Could you at least pretend like you're watching?" Carlos said, gazing at you as you scrolled through your phone.

You clicked the device off and slid it into your pocket.

"I'm sorry Carlos I'm just not really as interested in this as you are..." you paused. "I mean if I want to make it into F1 I gotta train right? I should be on the sim right now."

"C'mon," he groaned. "You're a Sainz, of course you're going to make it. Relax a little. Enjoy the game, please?"

You rubbed your eyes and sighed, "I'll try."

You crossed your arms and watched the game unfold. One of the Barcelona players scored a goal and went sprinting past you into a knee slide. He really caught your eye and you couldn't help but watch him the rest of the match.

Awe, tysm for the tag! 🫶

1. Reading - I love reading sm. From watching yt reading vlogs/vids, then buying the books, and then reading them and sometimes annotating them. Its an escape for sure.

2. All Racing - Obviously I love Formula 1, but I also like a lot of other racing. My second favorite would have to be IndyCar, I’m in a fantasy league with some of my family and some of their friends, lol. I also enjoy Nascar, F2, Formula E, and Drifting :)

3. Movies (especially the theatre) - Going to the movie theatre late at night is one of my favorite things to do! I miss when Marvel movies were better, bc let’s be honest: they suck now. But I would go to the 11pm showings and then leave at 1am or later. It was so fun!

4. Blankets - Might sound like a silly one, but I love my blankets. I probably own like 25-30….It’s a problem, I know🤚

5. Tumblr - And obviously I love this app! I love being able to write after a stressful day and talking to people. Its cool so that so many people have similar interests and we can just talk about them!

1. Breeze by The Deli as Valtteri Bottas

This song has typical morning vibes. You sit outside and drink your morning coffee and you listen to the birds and just enjoy life. The whole world is just chill. And I get the same vibes from Valtteri. Chill dude who loves coffee and has a porridge addiction.

2. Calles by Wun Two as Alex Albon

This song is just cute. Like I listen to it in the morning and I feel happy. Now look at this dude. He is cute. Did I mention that the song is cute? CUTE.

3. Etiqueta by Bassio as Daniel Ricciardo

This song is just sexy. Like the type of sexy when you dance around the house and you feel confident. Confident sexy dancing = Daniel Ricciardo. Do I really need to say more?

Okay this song is not cute nor chill at all. This song is so fucking powerful I listen to it and I’m ready to fight. It makes me fearless and confident. And that’s how I see Max. Powerful and confident and brave and fearless.

This is my emotional support song. I feel down and I listen to this and my brain kinda stops thinking for a moment. It makes me happy and creative. Like when I watch Lando videos or streams. It makes me calmer and my brain stops working and I can chill out. Also I got this song from a LandoLog so it’s an obvious one for me.

8. Taurus by The Deli as Romain Grosjean

This song makes me feel like I’m chillin in a cute but fancy restaurant and I’m just enjoying food. Also for some reason I feel like I would eat something French when I’m listening to it and don’t ask me why I have no idea. So Romain was the first person I thought of with this one.

9. Your Vibe by Yomoti as Lance Stroll

My other emotional support song. Chill vibes and it helps me a lot when I need to study. Makes me chill and happy and motivated. Look at the happy bean ofc he was the first one I thought of with this one.

10. Thelema by Ofdream as Charles Leclerc

Okay this one is the hardest so this is the last one on the list. The first and most important reason why I feel like this song is Charles because when I read “Protect me big brother” by @3303andmore​ (for the credit you can ignore the rest I don’t want to bother you with this) I listened to this song for the whole time. This song means a hella lot to me. I listen to it I feel pain and freedom at the same time. I have really mixed feelings about it. Like I have mixed feelings with Charles. He was never my favorite driver but I can’t deny the fact that he is so fucking talented. He is a happy bean no matter how many shit happened with him in the past and this song reminds me of this. No matter how much it hurts it stays in the past. You will be alright you will move on.

ok soooo it was literally the best day. if you don't already know, i tried to meet him at the spanish gp and it failed miserably HAHAHA. like it went so wrong at i ended up with a selfie of him running away from me lmao (he saw it on twitter and appreciated my embarrassment, we stan). this made me nervous to meet him cos i was like what if it happens again lol but it was the complete opposite.

i met him at goodwood fos and it was legit the best day EVER. from the moment we arrived that was just my goal for the day ngl, my friend was laughing at me so much. it was raining and everything and i was stressing cos i didn't wanna look like a drowned rat lmao. but i was looking for the Mercedes tent so i could go there first and then spend the rest of the day trying to meet lando… but as i was walking to the tent i spotted lando walking up the stairs to the drivers lounge bit. if you’ve seen his landolog, it’s the bit where he’s on the balcony (try spot me in the background with my umbrella hahaha). anyways i waited for him to do the vlog intro, an interview and whatever else he was doing so i could meet him when he left BUT HE WENT THE OTHER WAYALKSDASND so i didn't see him lol. then i went to mclaren to see if he was over there but he was doing some appearances then went straight to get in the car.. so i went to watch him drive his first run then i pelted it back to the mclaren tent to see if i could meet him after and oml it was the most stressful thing in the world cos all of a sudden the whole of goodwood was behind me squishing me against this tent that was soaked from the rain and it was horrendous lol. anyways he came back in the car, i got squished even more then he went out the back to get changed and whatever else so i waited then he went for lunch so i went back over to the bit where we started the day lol and fast forward he was leaving and i let him walk straight past me cos i didn't wanna be rude hahahahaha *i am stupid*. then i followed him back to McLaren and saw him at the back of the tent so i stood there for a bit hoping he’d come out but he didn’t so i went round the front and stood there cos the team told me he’d be back at 3pm and it was almost then, and then he came out and i let him walk past me AGAIN *honestly someone slap me*….. and he went on the sim (obvs) and then had to do some promo things for the huski chocolate sponsor, then met some fans that’d been pulled into the tent and stuff THEN HE WAS SLOWLY COMING BACK TOWARDS ME. at this stage i wasn't at the front anymore so i didn't even think i would meet him but for some reason the entire bunch of people in front of me MOVED OUT THE WAY - they legit parted like jesus parting the god damn seas, it was insane loool. then my friends had to push me forward cos i was too scared to annoy him for a photo but they pushed me and next thing you know he was there and now it’s the bit y’all actually wanted to hear..

MEETING LANDO! so he’s really quiet and just cute ok. he seemed super shy and i was literally so nervous idk why lmao like i just love the kid so much. anyways so like he was in front of me and he smiled and i was like ‘hi how are you? can we get a quick photo?’ and he was like ‘hi, yeah sure’ so i said ‘did you want to take it?’ cos i thought that maybe he’d be more comfortable taking it lmao and he gAVE ME THE FUNNIEST LOOK and was like ‘do you want me too?’ and i was just like ‘i don't mind’ and started laughing so he laughed and said ‘whatever is easiest’ so i just said ‘ill do it’ so we took the photo, and my friend took some candids which i LOVE!! and i said thank you and then i like ran away cos i felt like i embarrassed myself lmao. but it was so cute and i made him laugh and idk if he knew it was me but he defo must know now lol so we stan hahaha!

i saw him whilst he was leaving too and was going to ask him to sign my drivers card but i didn't wanna be annoying so i let him go about his day cos he was vlogging (i am in the back of his landolog A LOT lol) and he’d already been harassed a lot that day hahaha! but it was so good and thank u for letting me relive this day cos it makes me so happy hehe! hope you enjoyed this longass storytime with lucy xox this probably makes absolutely no sense and I've not even gone over the full day properly cos it was bonkers but feel free to ask any other questions about meeting lando (or literally anything) cos i love answering them MUCH LOVE
