So it appears the Avatar leaks were 100% true. Twins and a post-apocalyptic world, straight after Korra

It’s not something that appeals to me personally, tying a main character, Korra, to a major world changing event completely offscreen, (there’s a shift in Korra with Republic City but it’s not as big as ‘apocalypse’ and it’s also not down to Aang alone). I’m not personally a massive fan of characters happy endings being transformed offscreen in such a big way (again, difference with ‘Aang was a complicated father’, which is personal, and ‘Korra was involved in an apocalypse’ which is far more existential)

Butt I always appreciate a big swing than just playing it safe again. Also, it appears apocalyptic in that it’s a major magical transformation of the world rather than mass death, so I don’t think it’ll be too depressing.

Twin Avatars, eh, it does feel fanficcy but I hope it’s more than just ‘good/evil’ Raava and Vaatu so it could transform the basicness of of Raava/Vaatu in book 2. We don’t know for sure it’s Twin Avatars but it sounds like it.
