isn’t it so weird that cats- the show where you have to interpret certain aspects to create your understanding of the world, its characters, and relationships

has a fandom subgenre that just loves shitting on “wrong” interpretations because they don’t agree with it or like it.

#When I say this I don’t mean offensive or bad faith take interpretations #I just mean things that are left intentionally vague or unanswered so the audience can think of it as they please #And oh no you dared to pick the one the majority isn’t in agreement with so now your dumb or have no understanding of the source material #Even if that aspect isn’t even a consistent thing and is meant to be interpreted #I had this same thought for so long now let me air my grievances ty #And ofc you don’t have to like every interpretation but maybe lets not make fun of eachother nobody has a perfect interpretation
