wttt and hetalia share a genre which would be inanimate things personified and the subgenre of land masses

other media in this specific genre include but are not limited to: country balls, country humans. kopke613 on tiktok (he does Canadian provinces), UNtimely News by youthpastorryan (also on tiktok tho discontinued) and a bunch of others

tho the overlap of these fandoms is quite big as they mesh together like barely any other fandom does due to the thing it is based on being very easy to bend and shape and play with it is not the same thing at all

its like comparing a romance movie with a dating sim both are romance oriented but ultimately not the same thing, just as hetalia is an anime leaning on historic events and WTTT is an political comedy skit series

I am sorry if I came coming of as harsh its nothing against you (and it is quite funny when thinking of the shippy posts in an actual real life context) this subject just has come up a bunch of times and I had to clear this up for my own sake as I despise hetalia with all my might and hate that this fandom gets compared to it just cause hetalia is the biggest fandom in this genre

but yeah if youre still interested WTTTs creator is benbrainard on both tiktok and youtube and all the skits are there to watch we are a very friendly fandom I promise

for some reason i keep seeing posts about something called welcome to the table/state house which from my current understanding is kind of like hetalia with states but I had never heard of it before so I thought all these posts were about real life state politics
