I truly wish "fans" would stop bothering and harassing solo dev like Yatsunagi, especially after seeing their recent post (where they talk about their love for the characters and wish that they don't have to leave the characters so soon).

We can see that these characters are so dear to them, Homicipher feels more like a passion project. A heartfelt tribute to their own OCs, made with love for their own creation. As someone who has a lot of OCs, honestly I get that feeling. Imagine if people kept demanding more and more content about your own characters and disrespecting your boundaries, I'd regret ever putting them out in the first place. Yatsunagi truly deserved better :(

This kind of situation not only happened to just Homicipher, but to other fandoms as well (an example is Welcome Home). Homicipher (its concept) has been around for almost two years (please do correct me if I'm wrong) and just got fully released for a month, yet these people treat the creator like an object they can pester without any consideration. Truly disheartening.

i have forgotten how to feel for the past 24 hours ever since the news broke out

my bsf whom i met because of one direction dmed me saying “Liam Payne is dead” n i felt like it was some kind of sick joke until i googled him up and saw the Born and Died next to each other and felt like a piece of me just vanished

i couldn’t believe this so i went on twitter and started having a full meltdown because what the hell

i grew up w one direction, i learnt how to dream high and make my own decisions because they taught me how to, they made me fall in love with music and connect with music in such a way that noone understands, in a way that i can resort to music as a way of seeking comfort and some unexplainable sort of peace, they were my comfort zones and gave me so much hope in life when i was falling apart, all of them meant so much to me like i have never loved and admired anyone else before like i loved them

i loved one direction so much

i wouldn’t even be able to speak, write or understand english this fluent if it wasnt for binge watching their interviews everyday and listening to them just talk in their sometimes illegible british accents (english is not my second language), i started finding my talents because of the diverse fandom, like writing, editing, etc and i literally wouldn’t be the person i am today without them

liam passing is like a shot to the heart, especially as i was a liam girl at one point in time, like ripping away all the strands and pieces of my childhood and teenage memories from my found happiness and comfort, i never understood how grief works and i still dont but this is just so confusing and disassociating at the same time, to be fully able to realise or let it sink in that a person whom you used to look up to, admire and love so much is no longer is like life shattering

my heart goes out to his family, friends, loved ones, maya especially and everyone who is grieving

i hope maya is doing okay in this moment of time and is surrounded by her loved ones because this is just beyond words to describe how she must feel rn after all she’s been through, i stand with you maya and you’re so brave for speaking up

his death wont erase his problematic actions and the emotional and physical abuse he inflicted on maya and the predatory behaviour with his fans, but he did not deserve death at all

rehabilitation works, i believe in rehabilitation, it could’ve worked with liam, if only his friends helped him, gave him the chance to redeem himself but instead they harassed his victims into not speaking up about his actions, if they truly cared, they couldve prevented this

if only liam was willing to receive help from maya and everyone who was concerned. its like guiding a horse to a pond but u cant force it to drink it

the 12 year old in me has been shattered and broken since the news broke out and idk what and how to feel anymore

i genuinely wanted to see liam get better, redeem himself and held accountable for everything, i was hoping for a better life for him where he knew what he was doing sober and conscious, i just wished the world was a bit kinder to him and had mercy on him

Lee!!!! I hope you don’t mind me dropping into your inbox to say that I finished s2 of The Bear!! 😬😬 (I figured I’d pop in here so that maybe others would want to chat too! - hope that’s fine!)

That final episode was so intense and left me wanting so much more!!! I was hanging onto every second of it and was so invested in it that I was sitting there like 😟 ‘it’s over?’ once the credits started rolling.

The whole storyline of Carmy getting stuck in the walk-in was so intriguing, and I LOVE how everything came out because of it. His conversation with Tina (and the monologue that followed) struck my heart and then his screaming match with Richie felt like it hurt me as well — also sidebar, can we talk about Richie’s growth this season???? I love what his character became so much���.I just hope that Carmy didn’t throw that all away 😬👀 I honestly felt bad for Claire too .. oh Carmy and his self-sabotaging 🙃🙃

And Marcus’ phone at the end?!!!! 😩😩😩 I’m holding out hope that that’s not what they’re making us think that it is because I don’t think I can take seeing him hurt like that!!!

Oh and I’m not even going to get into the conversation between Donna and Pete outside the restaurant……I understood her side but half of me was like: go in there and cheer on your children!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The only part I wish they would have expanded on was what was going on with Sydney at the end … like I understand why she had to rush out there and what was going on but the whole conversation with her dad was very…meh - I wish we would have seen her go back in and then continue on/see how she came out of it …… but I guess that’s why cliff-hangers are put where they are 😩😩

I’m still super invested in this show and I’m super excited to see where they’ll take it next - the restaurant’s pretty much open now…..will it show us how Carmy and Sydney work not to fuck it up?? Or will it go in another, completely different direction?? Either way I’m in for the ride!!

Carmy getting stuck in the walk in so Syd and Richie could seize their moment was amazing 🤩 What a lovely plot twist that perfectly embodies Carmy’s tendency to self sabotage! (I had to giggle a bit as I thought of all the times they told him to call the fucking fridge guy!! 😂😂) It was also the perfect dramatic break up scene with Claire. That voicemail 💔 However, he seems genuinely upset about it so I see him making an attempt at reconciliation at some point in the future, don’t you?

I love love Richie’s growth. How adorable is he when he returns showing off his new style like “I wear suits now!” The whole idea of him remembering the chocolate covered banana story touched me esp bc Carmy always knew he’d be good with people 🥰 And I’m so happy for Tina and Marcus as they continued their culinary journey with enthusiasm. I was afraid we’d lost Ebra tho 😢 and I was smiling so much when he returned! But I really hope all is well with Marcus’ mum. He loves her so much 🥺

Speaking of mums, as usual Donna let her own ego stand in the way of connecting with her children. She’s entertaining and played so well by Jamie Lee Curtis, but I could not despise this narcissistic character more tbh. Thank God for Pete bc he works really hard to pick up the pieces for Sugar. By contrast I actually really liked the scene between Syd and her father, when she goes from vomiting by the bins to hearing his highest praise. That made me teary eyed bc she’d been waiting so long to hear him say he believed in her dream not just being a dutiful, supportive father, but in a genuine, awe filled way.

I have no clue what to expect from a new season, but I’m all in for whatever comes next!

Oh holy shit Kirsten as the first adopted child, you're so smart for that. I do agree on oldest, most traditional - strict I would maybe argue falls on Mary - when they're all running through the woods playing, Mary is the one with the sour face the one not participating. Like I think Kirsten is someone who has to bottle so much up and I think it's so interesting that she has them run freely and scream at the top of their lungs because she probably feels like doing that 90% of the time.

Very true Mickey and Tina's arrival is so hilarious it caught me off guard. Just "hi hello here are two new children have fun?" And his sort of like "I guess?!". When I watched it I most certainly thought the first three were biological kids and then Mickey and Tina were the only adopted ones. And yeah it's difficult to explain how she uses the children in relation to Leo. Like after what happened with Kirsten, I would think that's the last straw. He assaults a 15 year old, my instinct would be to leave, definitely not bring more children around. Like why was Gwenda the last straw for her you know? How much did he cheat and why would more children be her revenge move? I need to rewatch many more times to put stuff together now retroactively with all the pieces but, who knows.

Very true she does love her children very much, but unfortunately I think her love (and to an extent all love, let's be honest) comes from fear - fear of her image, fear of them leaving her - and a lot of her love then expresses itself as possession and control, which is...not great - the panic attack in the bunker exactly. And her having that built is the ultimate expression of that fear/possession/control/love cycle. If the whole world burns down, you will survive here with me whether you like it or not.

And yes, yes ah Hester. Need to study that girl under a microscope. I think honestly it might be like denial? Or like hopefulness to the point of denial? If I ignore this thing it isn't real. If no one knows about my drinking or if I treat it with nonchalance then it's not real and I'm fine, everything's fine. I don't know. I've only seen it once, and like any time I watch something and am compelled by the acting choices I'll rewind it a couple times to watch it again, but I need a couple full rewatches to really put everything together in context with the whole show.

yeah dunno why i said strict then. my bad. i think i was thinking 'parental' - because she's not quite a sibling with the others, there is a motherly aspect. yes, she has really kept so much repressed over the years. the scene in the kitchen with her and jack is just heartbreaking. its actually painful to think about, the way he just comes to talk to her and gets slightly rejected (not really!!! not really jack !! don't leave, she just got nervous!)

i always understood the bunker as her way of staying in control, but i never really extended that to her kids. its probably why she took tina wanting to leave home so hard, losing that love/control over them.

hmmm. i never really understood if leo cheating was a regular thing or if it was only with kirsten and that was what rachel meant that gwenda was not the first staff member. it's probably meant to be vague. perhaps the gwenda thing was the last straw because everything else was falling apart with her kids, so she decided fuck it. she was seriously busy that night, wrecking her relationships with everrrryone.

ella said in this interview: "she has the family persona where she plays the princess and she has her real character, which is how she behaves with her siblings where she acts much older."

very sweet idea that how she acts with her siblings is the real her, but i often feel that she also hides parts of herself from them too (though that's not a 'persona' - just keeping secrets), probably for the reasons u mentioned.

actually that whole interview is very good. some of her thoughts on hester and rachel's relationship: "a lot of their relationship is based on what Hester looks like and Rachel is always selecting her clothes and making sure Hester always looks perfect which is why Hester develops an obsession with her appearance, maintaining this expectation even after Rachel is murdered [...] I do however think she loves her mother, they all do in some way, but it’s a weird kind of love when you love someone who doesn’t give you anything back."
