I LOVE BALLROOM DANCE TROPES!! Because I just have this natural tendency to like in fiction what I wouldn't do irl 😂 Toshiro and Rangiku look FANTASTIC! And the managment of the gesture here is AMAZING! It just flows naturally and their poses are so dynamic, their faces so beautifully expressive! Their outfits are PERFECT! Everything about this piece just nailed it! They look so elegant yet hot and handsome and good-looking 😭❤️❤️❤️

Besides the way their fingers interwine, so delicate, so soft and discrete! It says everything about them: We're friends, we're a team and we always have each other's backs!

The intimacy in that simply touch says a lot! I love it!!

Besides I just love the little background story you made for this!! Because I can totally see Rose opening a Balroom Dance Club!! This is just so him and also the movie!! I MUST watch it now!

Also, Byakuya not wanting to be part of the club but asking to Toshiro to teach him the moves just cracks me up!! It made me remember that Malcolm in the middle episode where Otto asks Francis to teach him how to dance so he can give a surprise to his wife, so Otto becames skilled at dancing but when he tries to dance with his wife he discovers he's only good at doing it with Francis 😂

Imagine Byakuya asks for help to Toshiro cause he wants to learn how to dance for Rukia's wedding or birthday... Or well, something to surprise her in a special day. It would be lovely!! And a fun disaster too!!

So, uhhhh, here me out, but what if one of the first things Urahara piped into the Soul Society tv feed was the sweet 1996 film, Shall We Dance? (It’s Tessai’s favorite movie, okay??) Most of the movie revolves around suburban salaryman ennui, which most shinigami found perplexing, but they liked the dancing bits a lot, and Rose, seeing an opportunity, started a Ballroom Dance Club (beginners welcome! instruction provided!!).

Toushirou is supposed to be practicing doing things in his adult form, but he doesn’t like to, it feels weird and clumsy. Rangiku conned him into coming to Dance Club with her, and it turns out that dancing is one thing he does like being a little taller for. 💕
