lol so idk I mean I already assumed this hard enough to know it, but this pretty effectively confirms that UMG uses some trash quality AliExpress-esque manufacturer to produce Taylor’s non-apparel merch.
The literal “they own the rights now” explanation aside, I would really like for someone to explain to me how or why we are supposed to support a company who basically just purchased the rights to Taylor’s name and is using it to sell cheap, low quality, literal garbage at a 5x price gouge, which they then lie about the makeup and quality of, which inevitably arrives broken or defective or its quality degrades after one use, and then they refuse to give any kind of refund or anything. Taylor doesn’t wear the merch and is in no way affiliated with it any longer other than this company putting her name on it because they got the rights in a deal. How can we call that anything other than a company using Taylor’s name to openly scam people?
Yet fans trying to get inspired, quality goods to other fans as a grassroots workaround is what is considered the taboo thing.
lol. Lmao even.
