Also, something I've ALWAYS struggled (?) with is how personal I want my tumblr to be. I don't know if it's necessarily the right platform for the type of content I like to write about? I've always craved a deep connection to people on here (and in general), and I definitely expressed that in the wrong ways when I was younger.

#I talked about sexy stuff way before I was comfortable with sexy stuff #I thought I was being edgy and cool #In reality I can see that I was scared and feeling lonely #my parents never had any friends when I was growing up #I never learned how to make or maintain relationships with people #so I bounce between extreme over sharing and shutting down completely #99% of my life is firmly stuck in the “shutting down completely” mode #I hereby dub thee tumblr as my extreme oversharing place #but you know #hopefully not as embarrassing and sad as back then #younger me really could have used someone to guide her on the dos and don'ts of being authentic and personal with people #without inviting the wrong kind of attention #anyway lol
