blatantly classist post of the year: center owner has two centers and we're being observed by the state (city?) observers and my class is the last to be observed. if I get a 5 or 6 (out of 7) we win and all the teachers get to go have dinner at ruth chris's steakhouse. here's me being classist: you're going to drop all that money for 9 people to go to ruth chris's. girl that is food for poor people that got their tax refund and want to feel fancy and businessmen that want to impress other businessmen but they're not worldy because a businessman is a business major who's daddy gave him a job. ma'am this new orleans we have james beard award winning chefs like nina compton and donald link with multiple restaurants we have jewel of the south we have john besh we have emeril and word on the street is he gunning to get new orleans added to the michelin star regions and you want me to get excited for ruth chris. she the wanna be high society type. siddity but ain't got the funds to back it up (I worked for all the chefs mentioned I used to see billionaires casually run around so I'm good at telling when someone is actually rich). I want to do good on my observation for the sake of knowing I'm doing my job properly but legit might skip the little "fancy" dinner
