#I headcanon that Music Meister's real reason for becoming a villain was because his music couldn't be appreciated as music

I whole-heartedly support this version of Technus as Cyborg's robot baby.
He goes from conquering the world with technology to protecting the world with technology very quickly because it was never about the world conquest, it was about making, modifying, and using cool tech to do big things.
No one argues that the superheros of this world aren't doing big important things, and his Papa's friends are all suitably impressed with his abilities. (Cyborg is so grateful that his support system mainly composed of superheroes who can handle the weirdness.)
Little Technus loves working with his Papa in the workshop.
What if, rather than a straight up Black Canary clone, Ember was made from the DNA of both Black Canary and the Music Meister? At some point, Ember, who is now a little girl again because they found her before the force-growing process was finished, breaks down crying because the mind-control aspect of her power won't turn off while she's singing, and she's just realized that people aren't even really hearing her songs.
She doesn't mind using mind control to get people to listen, but she wants them to actually like her music, not just go through the motions of acting as if they like it without actually experiencing it. Now she's crying in the wreckage of some abandoned building, and every few minutes one of her sobs shakes the rubble around.
Canary actually resorts to contacting the Music Meister over this, because she has no idea how to comfort her daughter. The Music Meister does have some advice, but wante to be involved in Ember's life. Like, excuse him? He has a daughter? And she's suffering the same way he did? He would like to be there for her! He needs to be there for her! His messages are getting increasingly frantic, and he's about to stage a break out.
I feel like there's this whole story arc where Ember is grappling with being an artistic soul incapable of sharing her art, and her Hero and Villain parents both just trying to be there for her despite the bad blood between them, and the Music Meister gets a redemption arc because his kid needs him and that's so much more important than any evil scheme.
In the end, the JL's tech people create a device that let's them counteract the hypnotic element of their voices. Music Meister gives up supervillainy and gets a job performing live music at a bar or restaurant somewhere. He's living a simple but fulfilling life, now.
Black Canary and Music Meister are not together and never will be, but they work together to parent Ember the best they can.
Green Arrow isn't sure what to think about any of this, so he's mostly staying out of it. He can buy the kid ice cream? Would that help? Okay, well he'll be over here if Canary needs anything.
Why wouldn't the Bats leave Danny alone? Sure he was a clone of Nightwing but that didn't mean anything. He wanted nothing to do with the Bats nor his crazy fruit loop of a creator, Slade Wilson. And all of the heroics of his past life had killed the altruistic urges he'd inherited from his template. Danny just wanted to live a quiet peaceful life. Yet the Bats just continued to pursue him. You know, now would be a really good time for his ghost powers to manifest.
