went to let out my dog after a heavy thunderstorm and thought "it smells like frogs out here" and I turn to my right and
and as I pick him up I see another so naturally I think there has to be more out here so I did of course find a couple more
four what I presume to be baby bullfrogs (they all have evidence of recently metamorphed tails and I don't believe I have any green frogs in my pond)
#I haven't seen many herps in a hot minute and this is my reminder that I need to go night helping more cuz amphibians#also in the pond I used to live by we only got red legged frogs + Pacific tree frogs + Cascades frogs#so it's always a treat to see bullfrogs#I'd love to see a big adult one I'll have to actually Go helping soon
