I just checked the most popular stardew valley ships on ao3 and I my jaw is on the floor. I expected sebastian/player being number one, nothing surprising there. but shane/player and harvey/player being the next two ??? shane and harvey ???? literally my two least favorite love interests. I thought they wouldn't be loved much by the fandom. I'm gobsmacked. flabbergasted.
