It had been a sudden request one night, one where Husk couldn’t lock his doors to a shadow that slithered wherever it pleased, that liked to remind him that he was never truly alone. “Really, you have such a lovely voice, and my radio show has certainly been lacking in talent lately.”

“I’m not fucking singing for you.” A gamble to be randomly brave, but Husk had tried to see the odds as in his favor. He wasn’t dead yet, and Alastor hated making a mess when it wasn’t necessary. “Use your connections to get someone else.”

For the Radio Demon had it, Husk knew. Once, it was by morbid curiosity that he tuned the radio on a slow night, the whiskey just not hitting right. He didn’t hear the screams—not yet at least. But sometimes there were songs from so-called guest singers, mixed in with the little tidbits of news that Alastor so loved to reiterate for all of Hell, a lot of them concerning the low stocks or accidents that occurred with Vox brand products.

But as soon as he said it, the red-drenched mic was pointed at his face, as threatening as the barrel of a gun. “Don’t be shy. Being humble won’t get you anywhere. Wouldn’t it be such a crime to deprive the listeners of your dulcet tones? And I know you never like to pass on a good show.”

Husk flattened his ears, carefully pushing the mic away with a sharp claw. “I haven’t sung in years anyway.” Not since the terms of their deal, not since he was stripped of his dignity and more. “For all you know, I’m rusty.”

“Wrong.” And what feeling set inside his chest when an unseen hand gripped his shoulder, the same hand that would sometimes part away the fur on his head, or hook a finger just underneath a suspender strap to gather his attention. “Don’t downplay yourself, especially when we have schedule to keep. We could continue playing this game, but I’m not interested in hearing your little pity fest when we know how this ends.” A wink, one that fizzled static and made the smile on Alastor’s face so bright. “And little Niffty was so, so adamant about the sweet lullabies you sang to her.”

Oh fuck him. The one time his old and brittle heart cracked for the psychotic little woman, who couldn’t seem to sleep one night. (Did she ever?) But Husk had relented, humming her an old ditty, one that made her snore in his lap. Well, it was better than her trying to stab him to tire herself out.

Stupid of him to forget his boss never neglected an opportunity to eavesdrop.

I try my best to! Someone actually decided to leave a comment about my fic and I want to make sure that they get appreciated the same I way I feel appreciated. But sometimes I don't know what to say in response thats not just thank you! lol I think commenting is very important for fic writing and i want to encourage more people to comment

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

Ohhhh boy. an end, once and for all first comes to mind which is where Shepard dies post crucible firing, Tali POV. I still get shouted at for that. The consensus is shattered remains aka Shepard goes to Alchera. I cry every time I read this so. take that as you will.

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending?

Ehhhh SSV Normandy: mobile home for the galaxy's most competent fools probably. Basically, Shepard and Wrex get together early in me1, and throughout the games' story, the others don't realize they're together. So it ends with the crew realizing they are and that Shepard and Wrex have been fucking with them the entire time.

Do you write crossovers?

Not necessarily a huge thing for me, but I am writing an Alien(s)/Mass Effect thing where Shepard is Ripley. So it's basically the first two movies, but with ME characters and setting and stuff.

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

No, but i did receive a weird comment where they mentioned something that did not have to deal with the fic. no hate, just weirdness

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do, and i dont really know how to answer the second half of this lol. i guess some of it is emotional but that's when there's like 50k of fic before that. my smut oneshots arent very emotional. they're there for one reason and thats okay theyre fun

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Not really, no. I've helped people write their fics, but nothing has ever been formally stated to be co-authored by me (which is all good). I'm kinda hesitant about co-writing bc I can be controlling so i don't wanna clash with a friend yknow?

What's your all time favorite ship?

I feel like the answer would be Shepard/Kal'Reegar. bc i go bonkers over it. Which does make sense since I designed both of them and i know what i like. they mean a lot to me these two

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

Everything? I got over a hundred (probably close to two hundred) wips in varying states of completion but the main one that haunts me i don't think I'll finish is a Aloy/Varl which is my first fic posted to ao3. Maybe one day.

What are your writing strenghts?

Dialogue! I'm real good with it, and I enjoy writing character interactions through it, I really excel in this area. Another thing I'm good at, is taking small details and expanding upon them and/or turning them into something more important.

What are your writing weaknesses?

Description and internal monologue. I'm very much what the characters are doing is how they are feeling type of writer

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I personally don't do it because I only know English and I prefer if someone is writing a lot in a different language ( looking at mando'a ) translations are provided at the end of the fic or smth like that. its just nice but obviously not required and its not really a thing at all lol

Percy Jackson back in 2016

What's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

I want to write for Arcane and I do have a little bit written but I am deep in Mass Effects so we'll see how far I get lol

What's your favorite fic you've written?

the glow of stars or Pull Me Into Orbit PMIO is my rewritten (in progress) Kal'Reegar/Shepard fic that i have spent so much time on and put in a lot of thought and care and love. When im in the groove with this fic and its universe, I am truly happy.

the glow of stars is something that I'm really proud of, not only in a technical sense but also in the content of the fic. Shyrik, Shepard came back wrong and it's just very interesting and captures what I enjoy from a comes back wrong fic. It's one of the best things ive ever written and im very proud of it (i didnt think it was gonna be this good but people have said otherwise!)

3: What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)?

DEFINITELY my voltron rewrite. its about the length of an entire novel and i've grown more as a writer during this project than . pretty much anythign else i've ever done lmao.

12: How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?

uh. well. i tried to count all of my unfinished WIPs but i gave up somewhere around the 95 mark. i KNOW i'm well into triple digits however. and that number will only ever increase.

19: What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

i wanna do more stuff with danny phantom in general. romantic platonic familial etc etc etc all the things. i ALSO really want to finish my team STRQ manifesto sometime next year because i am always so fucking sick over them

27: What do you listen to while writing?

instrumental music usually!! it WIDELY varies but generally i avoid things with lyrics because its too distracting for me. problem is, im so mentally ill about instrumental music that 80% of the time THAT'S too distracting for me too bc i'll be paying so much attention to what i'm listening to that i forget i'm supposed to be writing. i literally can't win </3

Summer sighed, and reached for Ruby. “I should put her down, too.” Qrow gently pulled his finger out of Ruby's mouth and reluctantly let Summer take her back. At the same time, he couldn't wait to get the baby away from him. He was all too aware of how small she was, how fragile. It would be so easy for something to happen to her, for his Semblance to hurt her. That all-too-familiar buzz of anxiety was climbing up his throat, making him have to resist the urge to tap his fingers against Harbinger at his side. He needed a drink. He needed to leave, before something bad happened. “I better debrief with Oz,” he said, half-turning toward the door. Summer's hand on his wrist stopped him in his tracks. She looked at him, silver eyes seeming to bore into him and peel his layers back, one by one. Her hand was rough against his skin, callused from years of battle. “You don't have to leave, you know,” she said softly. You know I do, Qrow wanted to say, but he gave her a crooked grin instead. “You know how Oz is. I'll try and swing by before I head out again, yeah?” Summer's brows drew together, her fingers tightening around Qrow's wrist like she didn't want to let him go. Her lips twitched, like she was trying to say any of the things she had to be thinking. “Would it really be so bad,” she said at last, “if you stayed? Just this once?”

Qrow looked at her, at the brightness of gathering tears in her eyes. She'd missed him, he realized, and it made his heart twist to think about how the months he's away on missions must be for her, for Tai. How they must wait, agonizing over every day he's gone and dreading that he'll never come back. It's strange, knowing that someone misses him when he's gone. Strange that he has somewhere to come home to, strange that there are people who will welcome him there when he arrives. Strange, and a little sad. He almost preferred knowing nobody would miss him when one of Salem's monsters finally did him in. Summer was still looking at him, expression pleading. Qrow sighed, and turned his wrist in her hand so his fingers were twining with hers. His other hand rose, to brush against the soft, plump curve of Ruby's cheek. “It's not worth the risk,” he said, so softly he could barely hear himself. Summer's eyes closed. Her fingers tightened around Qrow's. She nodded slowly. Qrow squeezed her hand back and carefully leaned in, pressing a kiss to her cheek. He gave Ruby's face one more gentle brush before turning to walk away again. This time, Summer let him go.

30: Biggest surprise while writing this year?

i have discovered that i am quite incapable of writing anything romantic and making it hit but if im doing some kind of platonic intimacy????? brother i will write the hell out of that shit. this probably should not have been surprising to me since i'm the most aromantic guy on planet earth but. well. i am also not a very smart man so jot that down

Here's the plan for December, probably almost certainly in this order:

First and foremost I wanna get a Dissection update out of the way. It's been so long, and I'm so reinvigorated, especially thanks to @skelejor .

I'm still messing with it, but I don't know how much longer I physically can. I just wanna post an update so badly. So even if I finish something else first, Dissection is getting updated first just so I can post both

And then for something more seasonal, I have two WaitLiz wips.

One is an fs au where Liz is a figure skater and Waitress (Najla) works at the rink and Najla supports Liz when her partner Mark leaves

The other is a romcomish post canon pretend relationship fic where Waitress (Holly) and Liz "act" like they're pining for each other while celebrating Christmas with Liz's family so they forget about Liz fumbling Mark.

I'm the least confident I can finish that third fic. The other two are basically ready. The romcom probably just has the last scene i gotta finish (of chapter one 😔), but still, in comparison. And even if i can't finish it before January, I'm working on another fake dating fic for these two so I'll just proceed with that one 😆

I'm so excited to finish a monthly ao3 fic/updates, this has been so fun. I'd be so angry with myself if I was able to post something every month except December, but there's basically no fucking way for me to do that. I could post those first two as is, and I will if I must. So keep an eye out.

How many works do you have on AO3? Only nine, ten tomorrow, but I feel like I'm a n00b as I just got back into writing fic this past spring.

What is your AO3 word count? 376,550

What fandoms do you write for? Mainly Star Wars. I'm kind of obsessed at the moment. Like, I've gone down the SW rabbit hole and I kinda love it here.

What are your top five fics by kudos? Asphodel: 168 The Echo and the Stain: 50 Peace: 42 Hard Candy: 25 La Cantina de Bloomita: 21

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I totally do. I cherish every kudos, every bookmark, every subscription, and every comment on my stories, because no one is obligated to interact at all. The fact that people take the time to do it? I want you to know I see you and I appreciate you. You could be doing a billion other things with your spare time, but you chose to read my new chapter? and then you took the time to tell me what you thought?! I adore you.

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? In Vain. Obi-Wan goes to Kalevala in search of something to feel close to Satine in the wake of Order 66. I remember writing it and being like, "Well, this is fucking depressing."

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Peace. Satine gives birth to Korkie with Obi-Wan right there with her, and it's just fluff and love and newborn baby sweetness.

Do you get hate on fics? Occasionally, I get some kind of comment that implies that I have grossly misunderstood the Obi-Wan/Satine characters, and I just shrug it off. Some people don't like my version of their year on the run because they're annoying eighteen year olds, and I suppose all of us were our best selves at 18? And some of the feedback I've heard on Asphodel makes it sound like I've turned Satine into a Space Thot or something, like she's DTF with everyone in the galaxy. For the most part, though, the feedback I've gotten is amazing, so I keep doing what I'm doing.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Yes, I dabble in the smut. In Asphodel, it's very much a romantic thing. There's occasionally a little bit of gratuitous smut, but I'd say 95% of the time, the smut scenes are pivotal to the story and give you more insight into their characters and how emotionally tied to one another they are. Maybe I could illustrate those emotional ties through dangerous experiences, but that's what I'm doing in my year on the run story, so.. romantic sex it is. ;)

Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? I haven't attempted this yet. I feel like my brain would explode if I tried a crossover.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? No, and I fear this ever happening. I'm mean and vindictive. My Aries moon is a bitch.

Have you ever had a fic translated? No, but this would be so cool. What a huge compliment, right?

Have you ever cowritten a fic before? Nope, haven't done this yet, but I'd be open to it in the future.

What's your all-time favorite ship? It's a tie between Steggy (MCU) and Obitine (SW). I'll just admit this right here and right now, at the end of Endgame, I sobbed. For two hours. TWO HOURS. My husband has video of me in the car leaving the theater and I'm crying like a crazy person because Steggy got their happy ending. I was so deep into that "doomed by the narrative" ship that I never thought it would happen, so when it did, I basically lost my mind and embarrassed myself in front of all our friends. But I own it. I will love them forever. I'm almost as crazy over Obitine.

What's a WIP you'd like to finish but doubt you ever will? Shhh, don't say that. I'm finishing them all.

What are your writing strengths? I'm really not sure. I mean, I like my writing. I like my stories. I write for me, so it's all good. Someone wanna tell me what my strengths are? Maybe it's the details. I think I'm detail oriented.

What are your writing weaknesses? I'm long winded. If I could cut my chapters back to 3K words a piece, I think my stories would hit a wider audience and I would probably sleep better at night, but c'est la vie.

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? Never say never, but it's unlikely. For me to sit and try to figure out the linguistics of Mando'a alone, look, I'm old. I got 2 kids. I'm a class mom. I have a job. I have a caffeine dependency. I have migraines. I'll leave that to the pros. I'm just over here fucking around trying to let Obi-Wan and Satine have a few orgasms and some romance before the galaxy goes to shit around them, y'know?

First fandom you wrote for? Ever?! I used to write Hanson fics when I was in middle school with an Angelcities website, and I was in a little online club called Hanson Hoes. "Do not cite the deep magic to me, witch. I was there when it was written." (Aside from that, definitely SW.)

Favorite fic you've ever written? It's gonna be Asphodel. It's my baby. I love it so much and I'm so proud of it.

I straight up forgot to put the name of this one lol. Meliodas doing dangerous antics is part of my Through the Wall sequel fic, called "Stakeout" which is the one where I have him cooking. I tried to mix in some humor with the angst here. It's basically Stigma Meliodas if Nakaba didn't nerf his intellegence. This one, I'll be feeding you guys soon!! Because I plan to try to finish Through the Wall this Thanksgiving Break, since I started it last thanksgiving break (ambitious I know, but imagine the poetism if I pull it off!) and Stakeout is farther along in its completion than that one. Stakeout is about Meliodas looking out for the TC and his brother from the opposite of the war. The first part is him deciding to try to get them dinner after seeing how worn-down they are, and the second . . . well, he can't exactly leave Zeldris to watch over both the Vampire and Demon Realms all by his lonesome, right? I'm actually really excited for you and @7-ratsinatrenchcoat to see this one in particular when it's finished because I tried to channel the melizabeth energy I liked in your work

This one is named such not cause I wanna name it something bulky (it has a better name! that's the exclusive lore lol) but I'm commited not to spoiling the plot twists in this one. This is gonna be my main gift to this fandom, a spiced up psychological horror rewrite of the whole show with original elizabeths and original adventures for the first and second season (that one is a backstory with Liz!) Plot point collaboration welcome. A bunch of season one, and the plot tiwsts, I made with my good friend zeldriszezinho, and I'm pretty antsy and excited to finally get around to it and present him with the result of our hard work, haha. I actually have a lot of senarios planned both in detail and loosely, just not written down. I'm currently procrastinating on Season 1 Pt. 2 because it's literally 5 or so arcs of content, one for all the sins, and uh. mental energy. So I'm trying to finish up a lot of small projects first just so my mind isn't everywhere. I can't remember if you've seen what I've posted on it so far but here's the masterpost and season one part one! Ironically, think Rings was another one inspired by you - it's old, almost 8 months by now, and the only reason I haven't published it yet is the second ellie spiraled out of control into her own adventure and I haven't had the time because I've been word vomiting so many other projects into existence. it's half meme format, half usual writing. The second ellie's meme story is complete and the third's just needs its wrapping up of its actual plot, which is simple: an arrogant man thinks his bride is secretly a nutcase, but feels pressured into marrying her because medival times, because she's a sweet and intellegent woman running an orphanage all by herself, and technically he can't do better, and because it would look disasterously on the both of them and destroy his carefully crafted persona if they somehow couldn't make this community-arranged marriage work. So he's "putting up with her quirks." Including the ancient what-looks-like-wedding-rings she wears around her neck, and the fact she genuinely thinks her one-that-got-away lover sold a prized possession to demons. (the significance of these rings is in the stories of the previous two elizabeths). Well. Actually. He steals them while she's distracted with wedding planning. It doesn't go well for him from there.

Let me know your opinion: should I try finishing the third ellie and then publishing it? I can always go back and make a full story out of "purple ring" ellie + friends later.

Basically, the purple ring's story is as thus: Meliodas decides he needs to rest, "REALLY rest", since his emotional stress is beginning to affect his demon biology in a bad way, and voluntarily coma-tizes himself for a while. He wakes some time later only to find out Elizabeth and her new 'family' have been considering him as their good luck charm. (Maybe even more than one Elizabeth has passed by now. Probably the apothecary he visits figures out what Meliodas meant to do and goes to fetch him, too late, and looks after him . . . see, that could be a whole OTHER story in itself. anyway.) He's a "good luck charm" because his demon aura has been disgusing the magical signature of her druid family, not that they've figured this out. Meliodas tries to get up and run away with an injured Ellie but surprise surprise he hasn't quite recovered from what his body and mind has been through, and the combination of that and the drugs has left him critcially weakened. He actually collapses falls down a small cliff with her. Ellie assures him they've gotten far enough to shake off the people who are searching for her, that it's okay. Moreover, she understands more or less what he's going through, since she lost her leg a while back. They reuinte with Ellie's little "siblings," druid children the family has rescued along their journey.

Later ~ the main organizers of their group are shocked to return to their isolated cabin to find that not only have all the children survived the winter, and possible clashes with whoever's been hunting them for decades, but there's one extra child! And a talking cow. (I haven't decided whether some of these people are semi-antagonsists.) Meliodas's condition never improves (angst angst <3) but he takes up the task of looking after the kids alongside Elizabeth anyway- especially when she and the others are gone, working or otherwise. Oftentimes he and the spunky talking cow go on adventures in the forest or in town, collecting herbs or materials for crafts and toys. She carries him, Hawk-style. I can't remember her name but it was a silly one, and he saves her life once with his wings. He's also fought away intruders once while the 'adults' weren't home with Full Counter, being able to stand for long enough to use it before collapsing.

In this iteration, Meliodas recieves his ring from his new 'siblings' as they say that "it's the same color as the magic you used to protect us." Referring to the times he's used his demon magic around the house, and, unknowingly, to the fact his very presence has been the only thing keeping them safe from raiders on more than one occasion. Throughout it all Meliodas struggles with having to be the one cared for for once, and not being able to be the muscle of this group that so clearly would benefit from him being his 'usual' self. While his siblings think he's a genuine gift from God, and are more than happy to look after him as he does them, trading stories between them and cuddling up like he truly belongs, adult members of the family never take a shine to him and resent him somewhat, even perrfering when he was comatose. There's more (and more angst) but I should probably say less.

4. (TW: this one gets DARK with the demon brothers angst) modern fantasy ireland boarding school au" is actually another gift for @gh0stofyesterday, who can't escape me, from back in like feburary or something lol. It's an angsty modern-day genderqueer demon brothers and genderqueer elizabeth. Basically Meliodas tricks his snooty father into letting him and his brother (who's not technically old enough but academically girlboss yourself outta that condundrum zeldris) go to boarding school in his deceased mother's home country, where Meliodas plans to study interior design (he's gonna design the boar hat himself <3) and, against his father's wishes, join the gymnastic team. Little does he know that his online friends in his tween gymnastics discord server or whatever (The TC) are also going to end up there. ( I have the scene where they realize he's not the snooty daughter of the DK ceo and actually their Captain planned out already actually. they realize it when he beats the snot out of some guy that chases zeldris through the gymnasium lol).

Other plot points include! Elizabeth and Meliodas have a secret online romance as "Study buddies" and plan to perform a ceremony to use whatever their magic is unsealed to share a bit of that magic with each other, as a kind of marriage ceremony (peak 14 year old romance lol). Meliodas and Zeldris learn (originally Irish) sign language in order to communicate without their father snooping. Cusack and Chandler deal with being technical slaves to the Demon King and attempt to parent their protegees in more important ways than teaching them fencing, keeping their secrets, and buying them things. Gelda explains she never cuddles with her sisters for emotional support, Zel and Mel feel sorry for her . . . then figure out they are touch-starved and probably need therapy for that too. Hot springs date. Zel discovers Mel has been cuddling him while laying on his side specifically because there are fresh child abuse wounds across his back. Meliodas commandeers his gymnastics coach's coaching authority and starts an underground fencing ring upon being told he can't do that (we go to school in a castle! c'mon!). Zeldris tries to deal with a ginger-haired kid who seems equally hellbent on being his friend as he is his school rival. Depending on how dark I'm gonna make this, you might even get to see a prolouge where Zeldris forgoes a plan to murder - suicide his brother following his mother's funeral after meeting a small Gelda at the playground. Oh, and the DK having to fidgit uncomfortably in court. This one is basically a for-fun daydream, but a pal volunteed to beta it for me so it will eventually get written up for you all!

7. What is your deepest joy about writing?

I like just being able to make something entirely with words! Whole worlds, histories, feelings! Just made out of strings of letters. I have always been a person who like making things, so writing is a wonderful way of doing so for me.

9. Do you believe in ghosts? This isn’t about writing I just wanna know

I believe that the energy of living things must be changed in some fundamental way when it leaves the body and I believe that people may not fully understand that process. (I have no fucking clue but sometimes places do be 'spooky' in strange imperceptible ways and I'm open to the possibility that ghosts are the cause.)

17. Talk to me about the minutiae of your current WIP. Tell me about the lore, the history, the detail, the things that won’t make it in the text.

I have. NINE current WIPS. Thankfully I can group up a good number of them.

I have a bunch of installments in the Mishap series that I'm working on which while looking like nothing more than PWPs, are actually a fun way of exploring emotional intimacy as much as physical intimacy because one of my favorite things to do is discuss the idea of BDSM as a way of exploring vulnerabilities that it might be uncomfortable or frightening to do in other settings.

There's also Bonded, which I am really struggling with. I started writing the series just because I was having fun playing with a lot of silly ideas, but Shattered is much more serious in tone and while I usually love that, and I have a full outline of Shattered as well as outlines for the next two installments as well, I just haven't found the joy in it that I did in the beginning. I really like how chapter 6 wraps up, and it's been torture trying to move on to chapter 7. I don't know when I'll get over that hump, but it's been 3 months and I still haven't managed it yet.

Tumblr prompts, going well enough. Taking this as an opportunity to just write fast(ish) snippets. I often really want to linger and show how relationships develop thoroughly because (and especially with ShigaDabiHawks) I need a believable progression to show how those character could have possibly ended up together when they're at odds with each other's goals. However, for these I'm just going ham and that's a nice little change of pace.

Stalling out on the original piece (shigadabi with the serial numbers filed off because I wanted to use an original fantasy setting I've used for other OC work). Having trouble balancing how to progress the plot without losing the spark between the two characters after a... disagreement.

The Hanahaki piece is my fucking baby right now. Feeling as good about this one as I did about Honeytrap and Grey Area. It's so achingly tender and I love it to absolute bits. I have one area that I'm still trying to make a decision on and thought that the tumblr prompts would be a good way to step back and give it some breathing room after banging out 27k for it in two days. I'm very excited about this one.

And last but not least, the Time Travel fic! I'm enjoying this one too but I'm thinking about it logistically right now and trying to decide if I'm going to make it a multi-chapter or not. I usually don't like to do that because I write very differently for a multi-chap than I do for a one-shot and I much prefer the style of writing for an insanely long one-shot than a multi-chap (yes this may be why Shattered is fucking me up so badly, also why I really hated Playing Favorites by the end), but I'm not sure if it would be too jarring to go from Hawks' POV to Dabi's after minimum of 12K in Hawks' POV, but I need some scenes to be from Dabi's so eeehhhh. I'll figure it out. I like this one, alternate timelines are always fun to play around with and the butterfly effect here is so fucking strong.

I think I'm going to be finishing the Tumblr prompts before going back to the Hanahaki fic, but we'll see! And this is all dependent on me not starting any more pieces in the meantime. Which. Oof.

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count? 20,666 words.

3. What fandoms do you write for? So far just The Great Ace Attorney and The Stanley Parable. I plan on doing more, but honestly my ideas are mainly for those two. They're very fun to work with in their own way.

4. What are your top five fics by kudos? Now That You're Here > The Solitaire Update > Down to a Science.

5. Do you respond to comments? Yeah, I appreciate anyone who takes the time to leave them, so I always wanna say a nice thank you.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? None of my fics have ended THAT angstily honestly. Somehow the angstiest one is The Solitaire Update, since the others end on a pretty good note, but it's not that sad, just weird.

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Down to a Science I think :).

8. Do you get hate on fics? Not so far.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Nah, not really my style. I might have a future fic where I'd put in a sex scene but uhhhhhh don't expect much from me.

10. Do you write crossovers? I have one in mind for the future! So I'm not opposed. I just have not yet.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not to my knowledge!

12. Have you ever had a fic translated? No.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? No and I would rather not. I'm ultra slow and very particular with how my writing turns out, not very good for co-writing I think haha.

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? Benbaro, hands down. It's that sweet, trusting, enduring love between them that gets me.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? It's more like ideas that I have that I might never actually flesh out. And there's quite a few of them honestly. One of them is a humor fic featuring Apollo and Nahyuta after the events of aa6.

16. What are your writing strengths? I think I'm good at laying on the emotion. I've also gotten compliments about how I write characters (which is nice to hear because that's one of the things I don't wanna mess up).

17. What are your writing weaknesses? Well, being extremely slow, for one, but also I rely a lot on description and I'd like to maybe not do that as much. I also think my lines are pretty but maybe not very memorable or "smart" I guess?

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? If I was fluent in another language, that'd be fun, but alas I'm not. I can maybe write a fic around a phrase, but I'd have to make sure I fully understand the semantics of it before doing anything.

19. First fandom you wrote for? Ahahaha. Warriors series. When I was in middle school. Those are on ffn and I'll never share them though.

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? I think the one that turned out the best overall was Now That You're Here. But The Solitaire Update had the best idea haha.

Actually rewriting drafts. A lot of the time, I don't typically rewrite drafts, but for some of the Ghosts ficxs, I've actually got multiple different versions of fics LOL

Uhh I'd say I've definitely developed a stylised way of writing? Which, is actually pretty much just the way I write normally AHA - a lot pauses in strange places, and of course the angsty internal monologuing. I also like messing with structure when I can (Unfortunate House of Leaves simp over here)

Catching when my tenses slip. I don't know why, it might be due to roleplaying, but I find that I often flip between past and present tense in the middle of writing (where it wouldn't make sense to) But I've been able to catch it, lately. Makes editing fics a bitch LOL

top 2 writing resolutions:

Just posting more honestly. Last fandom I wrote fics for got a grand total of three fics because I didn't get to finish the others LOL, and then I kind of drifted off to other things (it's still some of my best angst work, so hopefully I can bring that energy to the Ghosts. The character I fixated on actually might have some similarities to Logan ssooo 👁 👁)

Maybe trying to branch out more? My two modes of writing are Hurt/No Comfort (hilarious, because I hate reading Hurt/No Comfort) and Whump so maybe I can try smth else? Maybe romance? Definitely not something I'm familiar with writing, but it feels like something I could try. (The real issue is finding ships I wanna write about /hj)

From Just Us, I'm quite fond of this line:

Shame stirs in his stomach, making him nauseous before working its way up, gripping his heart and then balling up to cause a lump in his throat that he tries his best to swallow around. "I miss him." The shame ignites like a gasoline trail, flaring quickly into anger (whether it's at himself or Rorke... it's hard to tell with all the smoke) that only makes him feel more sick. "God damn it, I miss that piece of shit."

From the Nightmares fic I'm working on (almost done with it!):

Her eyes did more than enough talking on that front, strangely expressive for how closed off she otherwise seemed. They told a thousand stories; all indecipherable, written in a language that no one could speak of, but could understand all the same. The mind's exact tales of suffering were locked away, hidden, but their effect still seemed to shine from the soul's very own fractured looking glass. A hint of resignation acted as dust upon the reflection's surface; a house haunted by time more than any other phantom.

and then this giant excerpt from a WIP abt Hesh :)

Occasionally, a glimpse will come to Hesh’s mind. Sometimes it’s intrusive, lightning flashing against a canopy of dark clouds, shaking the foundations of his mind with a deafening roar. Sudden, brief and violent in nature. Other times it’s… slow. Easy and gentle, like ocean waves crawling their way up the beach; soft, hushed. Almost comforting, if not for the deep grief that the tide often brought with it, the wind brushing by carrying the faint echoes of laughter and excited voices.

On days like this, the wind only seems to carry his own distant screams. The tide now feels lonelier than it ever did. That one set of footprints trailing in the sand was just that; a single set. The second set of imprints settled in his own stride now gone. 

Instead, the ghost of his shadow is embedded yards away, a trench dug out by desperately grasping hands, reaching for anything. Reaching for him.  

It’s still the gentle ease of a memory washing over him, sea foam gathering, swaying and receding slowly, but that’s perhaps what makes it worse. The slowness. The time he has to sit there and dismantle himself from the inside out, while his own head taunts him with things he no longer has, can no longer reach out for. Even the ebb and flow of water can wear down cliffs with enough time, steady and persistent in its movements.

4. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Yes! When people comment on my work, it makes me so very happy, and validated that there are other people that enjoy what I write. Makes me feel like I'm not just shouting into the void, and especially when someone leaves me a long comment about like how the fic made them feel, or what they noticed I took from the media the fic is based on, or even how it helped them with something, I've genuinely cried at a few comments. Even if someone takes the time to just leave an emoji or a keysmash I want to acknowledge that they took the time to read and comment.

There's only been one or two comments that I haven't replied to and it's because they were mean and rude as fuck. I didn't want to waste the energy with that user so I just deleted the comments.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Hmmm, it's a toss up. Generally I write happy endings because angst makes me sad. I've done several dealing with depression and mental illness and they are kinda angsty, but the ones that I've written that made me physically ache were Blackbird and Time to Yank The Skeletons Out

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Happiest ending... that ones hard too because the majority have happy endings. I wanna say Soulmate Shellgame it gave me the giddy feelings when I finished writing it.

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I write more AUs than crossovers, I can't think of any.

Heaven's Light Hell's Fire it's a Good Omens/Hunchback of Notre Dame with a dash of GoT crossover with the settings of HoND and characters of Good Omens.

Aziraphale is an apprentice/deacon and has been transferred from Tadfield to Notre Dame in Paris. Crowley lives in the bell tower, hidden away from the world. A skin disease called greyscale has turned his skin thick grey and black and scale-like. He is the bellringer for the cathedral.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yup, all the hate I've gotten on fics were the same troll that was also doing the same to other writers. After I found that out I just started deleting them.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Yes.

Not a full fledged fic, I'll drabble back and forth with @witchboywitchboywitchboy and @flamingbluepanda sometimes.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

Gallavich with Shameless, hands down. They have just been through EVERYTHING together and always weather the storm. Finding one another again and again after they're forced apart again and again. They're dedicated and crazy about one another, and ten years together they still have a fire that can't be dampened down. I want to say that's the first ship I've seen/watched enough that show a looooong stretch with one another and they learn and grow together on being better people as individuals and as a couple.

Aziracrow with Good Omens is what got me into writing and reading fanfic as well as what got me on tumblr, so they always have a spot in my hear too.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

UGH there's one I just left in my Good Omens stint once I started watching Shameless.

Heaven's Light Hell's Fire it's a Good Omens/Hunchback of Notre Dame crossover (AH I knew I had written one!)

I think about it all the time and I do have an ending for it, I just haven't gotten off the Gallavich train long enough to write it out. I want to do a filler chapter with like the bare bones of "xyz happens so you aren't left wondering what happens, but also I haven't written it yet"

I want to go back to it, but don't know if I will.

There's also Big Top Beloveds which I don't have an ending for, it was just an idea that wouldn't get the fuck out of my head. I might pick it up again sometime, but for now it was just getting it out.

15. What are your writing strengths?

I have endless ideas on what to write, My Gallavich fic note has... a shitton of bullets and blurbs. Same for my Eddie Munson/Stranger Things note.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to write several short sentences ending in periods instead of continuing it with a comma. It drives me nuts.

I also feel like my words are diluted in how I want them to come across. I want the reader to have this

going on in their minds when they read what I write. But I feel like I come off more of

Like I'm only partially there with what I want to convay.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I'm always afraid I'm going to fuck something up. I usually go to google translate, but I also happen to be friends with a kick ass linguist so I ask @witchboywitchboywitchboy for help too.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I've been toying with the idea of writing a Steddie or JArgyle or even Jopper fic, but I'm on the fence on all of them. Not dedicated enough to them to write for them.

For Good Omens I still get really fond feelings over The Sweetest Thing in Life is Love it was really fun writing and researching the baked goods.

For Gallavich I wanna say Mark My Skin I'm Falling In or Can We Skip To The Good Stuff both have more real life being put into it than the others and it makes the writing of those parts super fun.

So heres my millionth forced to watch piece, what can I say I love it so much. Fair warning, this is a wip to an NSFW piece, however since it is a wip, nothing nsfw actually happens, but just to be safe im going to say its implied.

In this drabble I had wanted to try something new with a deaf whumpee, and while I was editing the spelling mistakes to make it legible, i really wanted to finish it haha.

Caretaker stumbled slightly into the hallway, not bothering to turn on the light. Whatever had willed him to wake up at three in the morning for no good reason was surely going to make him pay at work later.

It was probably going to take him forever to fall back to sleep... He grabbed a glass from the cupboard in the kitchen, rubbing his eyes with his other hand.

He was so groggy he didn't notice the broken glass on the floor by the entryway, nor did he recognize the light footsteps behind him as he filled his cup in the fridge door.

Suddenly, an arm snaked around his waist and tugged him back hard into a stiff chest. He blindly swung his arm backward as the body holding him twisted him around to face two masked figures. 

“Slow it down big guy,” One of the intruders spoke, voice deep and calm, his gun pointed straight at Caretaker's face. At the same time, he feels the barrel of another gun at the back of his head.

He is definitely awake now.

"I don't have much money… I'll give you all I have," Caretaker says slowly, unsure of what to do. There's at least three guys, and they're all armed.

They ignore him and instead the man holding him asks a question, "Got anyone else in the house big guy?"

Caretaker slowly shakes his head. His boyfriend is upstairs, sleeping in their bed, and he's a deep sleeper. If they stay down here…

"You didn't seem too confident in that answer," Whumper 1- seemingly the leader of the group- says, looking back at his buddies before continuing, "How about we check for ourselves?"

Shit.

He can feel his palms begin to sweat. Fighting back right now isn't even an option, and he couldn't even think of a way to keep them from going upstairs. 

Whumper 3 shoved him forward, keeping hold on him as they all walked toward the hallway.

"Dont try anything stupid now," Whumper 2 said, slowly leading everyone upstairs.

Caretaker's legs felt like jelly, but Whumper 3's gun to his head forced him to press on. Even if he wanted to try to warn his boyfriend, or make a distraction, it wouldn't matter.

They reached the top, and came to the first door in the hall, cracked open slightly-- because Caretaker had thought he would be right back-- and he was, just not in the way he'd expected.

Soft snores could be heard from inside, and Caretaker's heart pounded when the main intruder's eyes met his.

He could only see the man's eyes and mouth underneath his ski mask. Somehow, that seemed scarier to Caretaker. The man's eyes are a deep green, not an ounce of remorse to be found in them. 

"Looks like the big guy lied to us," Whumper 1 says quietly, holding his stare to Caretaker's fearful eyes, "Go on in then."

Whumper 3 pushes him forward toward the door. He raises his shaking hand to the knob, pushing it open with a loud creak. His boyfriend doesn't stir.

He lays in their bed, curly brown hair a mess on his head, button nose dusted with freckles and his plump lips slightly parted. Caretaker looks at him, sweat beading down his forehead as the intruders enter the room behind him.

"Please, you can have whatever you guys want… I haven't seen your faces; I won't tell,'' Caretaker says, voice slightly shaking now, gaze never leaving his innocent boy, "Just leave us alone,"

"What, you dont wanna share?" Whumper 1 chuckles, walking further into the room so he can look at Caretaker from beside the bed. His hand travels to lightly rest on the small of Whumpee's back. "Besides, we ain't here for money…"

A heavy breath escapes from Caretaker's nose as his eyes widen. He stands, frozen still, with the cold steel barrel still at the back of his head. 

"Please," he whispers, the next words coming out more like a whimper, "Just not him..."

He was supposed to protect Whumpee.

"How about you keep quiet now." Whumper 1 remarks.

The deep voice of the man behind him leans into his ear to speak, "Talk anymore and we'll put a bullet in his head, let you watch him bleed out, then put one in yours," Whumper 3 warns. Caretaker looks up, squeezes his eyes shut and tries to will away the tears trying to fall. He could at least try to be strong for Whumpee.

Whumper 3 shakes him, causing his eyes to snap open as he gasps. "Got it?" The man grunts. Caretaker nods his head stiffly.

Whumper 1 stands over the sleeping figure, takes a hand and caresses down his face. Whumpee shifts, turns his head, makes the slightest little mumbled noise. Whumper 1 looks to Caretaker and smirks.

"Must be a heavy sleeper," he says. He trails his hand down, lower, to his neck, wraps it around the throat, and squeezes.

Caretaker lunges forward- tries to anyways- but the arm around his waist pulls him back, the hand holding the gun swings around to push under his chin and the man pulls him flush against his chest.

Whumpee's eyes snap open, struck with fear at the stranger above him. His arms fly to claw at the hand obstructing his breath. 

"C-aretaker?!" He squeaks out, eyes searching frantically around the dark room. He only sees silhouettes.

The cold steel of the gun presses against Caretaker's adams apple, a silent threat telling him again not to talk.

"Beg me to stop," Whumper 1 says to the struggling body underneath him, "Cmon baby, use your voice and beg."

Caretaker pulls out again, nearly falling to his knees struggling against the guy holding him.

"Stop!" He yells, "He can't hear you! He's- he's deaf goddamnit!" Caretaker sobs, hands clawing at the arms around him.

Whumper 1 finally lets go, allowing Whumpee to roll and fall off of the bed. He breaks into a coughing fit, one arm pulling up to rub at his throat.

"Oh? Deaf you say?" Whumper 1 asks.

Whumper 2 claps their hands together loudly, the crumpled figure on the floor doesn't do so much as flinch.

"That sure makes things interesting."

So right now, I have six fics but, I am probably going to upload my new works on there as I post them here! I will also say that two of the fics were like theories I had on old fandoms I was a part of so those aren't really fics. (I think I may make a new acc for my new fics only because I like actually hate my old fics)

My total word count is 14,979 (I haven't updated these fics since 8th grade lmaoo)

What fandoms do you write for?

So before, I was a HUGE My Hero Academia fan so I mainly wrote for that fandom as well as Bungou Stray Dogs and Hunter x Hunter during middle school.

At the moment, TBOSAS, Billy the Kid (2022), Harry Potter (will forever love this series), and White Collar.

So, most of my old works, I never finished lol but Heather was based on the song by Conan Gray so that was probably would have been my angstiest fic if i had ever finished it! But in terms of fics I have actually finished, there have been like 0 angsty endings cause I just love the characters so much that I literally can't.

Planned endings however, there are several so be on the look out!

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

So officially, Promise which was a Hawks x Dabi fanfic that I wrote in 7th grade on ao3. Of course, I have MANY wips so those aren't done yet but I write mostly happy endings so maybe I'll do this again in the future? WE SHALL SEE

Do you get hate on fics?

No only because I haven't posted many of my fanfictions because I write mainly for myself. For me, writing is more of a hobby and something I love rather than something I wanna post for others but ofc I have started to share my works with other lovely beans in my fandoms so, I do really hope you enjoy and if you don't, you can leave!

Do you write smut?

Nope, I tried once and I just can't not because it wasn't good, it's just really uncomfortable for me. I will imply it but outright describing the act is something I don't see myself doing anytime in the near future.

Craziest crossover:

I haven't written a crossover fic before so, N/A? I do however love AU's so those I definitely have lots of silly ones like Harry Potter characters but they are at a Universal theme park and similar stuff.

Not that I 'm aware, no.

Nope, again, most of my fics are still unfinished and private so, this hasn't happened yet but to me, this is a really big honor so I would probably start bawling my eye out if anyone ever asked in the future.

I have! Although, we also never finished it, me and the lovely @justab00knerd started a Bungou Stray Dogs fanfic so that was silly. I don't know if I would co-write a fic again tho.

YES! I love learning new languages and like slang terms and curse words! I am actually bilingual, I speak both English and Tagalog (National Language of the Philippines) but I am also learning Italian, Japanese and I took two years of Spanish!

I actually started this original story and one of my main characters was Italian and so he always curses in Italian and I just loved learning curse words like cazzo and testa di cazzo, it was always so funny when I got to write him interacting with his brothers cause the names they called eachother was actual comedy GOLD!

Probably My Hero just because that what started my spiral into writing fanfiction cause that was the thing I loved when I was introduced to fanfiction so....

I LOVE THIS QUESTION!! So, that I have posted, my favorite is I Wonder aka the one of the only fics I have posted here on tumblr. Not posted, it's called Fish Cheeks and I wrote it during the pandemic based on one of my own personal experiences and, every time I reread it I just cry cause, I love it! It was also a Chrollo X reader and I just love him still.

Well...𝓻𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓵𝓮𝓯𝓽 𝓶𝓮 rn but I have one coming out tomorrow that's also Billy the Kid and the ending is pretty...it's pretty angsty

I try really hard to keep my endings happy because the nature of both fandoms I write for is inherently tragic but personally the one that warms my heart the most is either 𝓤𝓷𝓭𝓸𝓾𝓫𝓽𝓪𝓫𝓵𝓮 cause it's the end of the series or 𝓸𝓻𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓻𝔂 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼

Do you get hate on fics?

I've been very lucky to receive mostly positive feedback on my work- the closest I've gotten to hate was someone commenting on how I didn't include in the TWs that my Reader would be mentioned as thin and blue eyed (which I felt SO bad about and they were very kind about the whole situation- sometimes I don't catch that stuff in editing)

Do you write smut?

I do not purely because I'm a Christian girl (don't hate me) but that doesn't mean I judge others for doing so at all like y'all get freaky go nuts <3

tbh once I deem something a wip there's no stopping me until I finish it. Having drafts lowkey stresses me out (in a good way) I've finished almost everything I've started, the only exceptions being things that were either a) had no plot point at all besides the ship or b) my hyperfixation fizzled and I lost passion

I feel like I'm good at angst honestly, and the other thing I feel like I consistently do well is in the plot points of my stories. Honestly my self awareness isn't that great though so I could possibly be talking out of my ass

Thoughts on dialogue in another language?

I've done it briefly before because Billy canonically speaks Spanish but I am not a fluent speaker in any language except English so I'd be a little cautious doing it lol

I have a bad habit of starting projects and not finishing them, so I have a plethora scattered throughout my Google Docs files that are anywhere from multiple pages of unposted fic, all the way down to single-sentence unused prompts. Sometimes I left them behind because I lost motivation, sometimes my hyperfixation shifted and I (sadly) couldn't focus on that fandom anymore.

But let's see...uh....I glanced through my older stuff first just to see. But for now I think I'm just gonna count what I'm either actively working on, or what I wish to continue when my motivation returns...because if you counted all the abandoned WIP's I've gathered over the years, I think the number would be close to 30, and I don't want to list them all up here. (Maybe I'll drop it at the bottom of this post if you're curious***)

For one, I have two IronDad fics I plan on finishing: one that's a shorter Mafia AU that's 2/3 complete, and a much longer (and heftier) multi-chapter fic that has been awaiting a new chapter for over a year I think. A Little Late On The Blood Work my beloved...I'll come back when I get inspiration again 🥺💞 I also have an old Jacksepticeye Egos fic called #SamLives that I've been wanting to continue for ages but haven't, along with a Night at the Museum fic (Jedtavius) that I at least need to finish the current arc for because the comment section is sad.

And MOST recently I've got a bunch for Hermitcraft/Empires/Traffic Life that I'm in the process of actively writing...which I believe add up to a total of six?? I think? THREE are partially posted/being updated (Through a Crack in the Void, Domino Effect, There's Not a Word Yet), and the OTHER three (two Team Rancher, one that's literally Every Ship Under The Sun With Some Found Family On Top) aren't gonna be on my plate until I finish some of the other ones.

17. Do you have a writing routine?

Not really! Usually once I get an idea, I just - jump in. If I get stuck and want to skip something just to keep the writing ball rolling, I'll throw one of these in the middle of the page: ASDJNAKFBEKAJBA ...and just leave it for later. It's bold, red, and easy to spot when I'm scrolling through a long document, which is nice! It helps make sure no blank spots get missed in editing! (I also red-dye words, sentences, or paragraphs I'm feeling shaky on, so I can spot them easily and come back later when I get a better idea to fix it.) And if I decide to completely change a section I'm writing, I'll often copy the original version, paste it at the bottom of the doc in case I decide to change it back, and turn it a pastel color so I don't confuse old versions for the current text.

I also sometimes make calendars on Excel/Sheets if I really wanna keep track of time, and I often have a separate (and somewhat disorganized) doc for Notes on my longer fics. There's also a document where I write down potential lyrics options for There's Not a Word Yet chapter titles, but that's the only time I've done that for a fic.

43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?

I feel like someone asked me this a while back, so I've definitely thought about this! But honestly? A mystery or a time-travel fix-it...which I am well aware are two VASTLY different tropes lmao.

I've always been envious and in awe of well-written mystery/detective stories, because so many little details go into them to make them work. I'd love to build one of my own someday, but I have yet to find the right motivation to do so.

As far as time-travel fix-its go...they're just...they're so fun to read, because I love to see how one little change can affect an entire timeline (see also: Domino Effect) but they're also a LOT of work to write because it involved basically retelling a story that's already been written but in your own words and with a twist. Somehow writing something fully original comes easier to me than trying to build my writing around something else that already exists. But god I'd love to have the motivation to write one of 'em anyway! It'd be fun to decide how everything changes all because of one little difference in choice :3

(One of them is a cute 5+1 one-shot about Tango calling Jimmy "buddy" and Jimmy learning that "buddy" has a lot of different meanings depending on how Tango says it and who he's saying it to. The second one is an extension of a one-shot I already posted called Coming, Coming Home, where S8 HASA!Tango crash-lands in the mesa outside Tumble Town, and like - yeah. Yeah. I'd love to continue that one. And the LAST one is a Double-Life-based Witches/Familiars AU that started as Renchanting Duo and has since extended to every member of the Life series and even some Hermits.)

***ALL THE OLDER FICS I HAVE YET TO COMPLETE: I've got one for Doctor Who, a handful for JSE Egos - #SamLives - one for Night at the Museum, one for Encanto. Six for Marvel/IronDad (including a Mafia fic, a SPN AU, a Peter-gets-shot and Tony-goes-dad-mode hurt/comfort, and A Little Late On the Blood Work which as I said I'm just longing to get inspiration to return to). A witch/familiar Supernatural AU fic and an SPN time travel fix-it that I barely started. There's a TangoTek one-shot I've abandoned featuring his rage moments from both LL and DL. I also have an old fic from high school for a game called Ib that I'd love to revamp someday...and my Original FanFic that started it all, which was for Harry Potter, and I was like 12, and it will never EVER see the light of day. My god. It's...it's rough.

"You just did," Alexandria said, "but you're welcome to ask more."

"Uhm. Well, how do I put this?" Lucien thought aloud to himself. "It's just that you've been dealing with this for quite some time now, correct?"

She nodded.

"Then why are you only now acting so... snappy?"

She frowned deeply at the word, and Lucien wondered if he'd only made the situation worse by asking. Or perhaps his phrasing was insensitive.

"I'm sorry," he scrambled. "I don't mean to upset you more. It's just.. Well, I worry and—"

"It's fine," she interrupted before he could talk himself in circles again. "It's just... not easy to talk about." As she finished cleaning the station, she picked up the pieces of nirnroot and thumbed at the leaves, too distracted to begin making the potion. "I know talking about your feelings is supposed to help, but sometimes... well, it makes them more real. If I keep it to myself, all that happens is a few bouts of panic and bad nights of sleep that I'm usually able to hide well enough, and then it's over. Well, until it happens again, I suppose, but that way it's my problem, no one else's. And I can forget about it and pretend it isn't happening, and it stays there—in my head. When other people know, and when other people are trying to help, it's... different. I don't mean to imply that I'm ungrateful for your support, but in a way, it makes this all harder. Maybe it'll be better in the long term, but I'm not there yet."

The two sat in the silence as those words sank into Lucien's mind. For a moment, he wondered if perhaps things would be better off if they'd left well enough alone. But he shook off the thought easily; things weren't well enough as they were. Alexandria had gotten far too used to struggling on her own, and he'd be damned if he'd let a friend go on like that.

"For what it's worth," he said, carefully considering his words, "it's a burden I'm more than willing to share."

She gave him a small, melancholy smile. "I hope one day I can appreciate that sentiment."

"You know I'll be patient."

"Of course," she said. "How else would you survive being friends with me?"

He laughed. "Can't argue with that."

Assassin's Code:

I love the story, I love the charchters, I just can't seem to actually write it. I've tried, this was even an announnced WIP on here for a few months, but I just can't do it. Ultimately I don't know what I would want to do with it, maybe put it on wattpad or something?

Angel's Daughters:

I really really want to do this, because it's Enna before the events of Frost & Fire, during the time most of her backstory is built in. During the last great attack on Halmire, before the one that restarted the dragon wars. I don't even know why it's not working, it just isn't. I did get a new idea for how it starts out, so maybe I'll work on that a little sometime soon. In the end, if I end up actually putting Frost & Fire on Wattpad I'll put this there too, as a sort of Prequel.

Nine's a Storm:

This one I just got terrible writers block on. It still hasn't gone away. But I want to write it, I really do, but I can't seem to. For some reason my brain won't let me write about pirates, and that makes me kinda sad because, pirates are cool and I wanna write about them. In the end I wanna put it on wattpad, like the others.

Dragon's Child:

This one, like Angel's Daughters, is sorta prequel to Frost & Fire; it's about Ana & Dash and them growing up and finding each other again after the fire. I just really wanna write it, but I don't even have a solid plot yet so it won't happen anytime soon. I would probably do the same thing with it as I did with the others, put them on wattpad once they're finished.

Ghost Story: (Not the actual title but I don't have any idea for the title)

This one I really want to write. Like, a lot. But I got two lines in and it just... doesn't feel right. Maybe because it's modern day instead of Medieval era, maybe because of something else. idk.

Mia's Story: (Again, not the actual title. Just a placeholder)

This is just something I was experimenting with and turned out to actually like, though I do need to change some things. It might be my NaNo project next year, because I really do want to write it. Nothing's really holding me back though, I just haven't written it.

Ok SO “Of puppy eyes and potatoes.”

Honestly I have no clue where I got the idea for this one, it just popped into my head out of nowhere one day. I actually have it pretty much finished, there are just a few little parts that I don’t love and I wanna fix. Also the genre is just not my forte, I’m better at like whump and angst than fluff and humor. BUT essentially it’s a one-shot where Loki runs into Peter who’s just come home from patrol with a bullet in his leg. Cue Loki having to kinda patch him up and they both have to avoid Tony’s suspicion. Here’s a snippet:

Peter sits there on a chair, left leg crossed over the right one, frozen in the act of pulling his suit off of his foot. The window is letting in a breeze behind him and it’s clear he’s just come in from patrolling as Spider-Man.

They’re both paused, Peter looking like a deer in the headlights, and Loki’s eyes drop to what is automatically drawing his attention - the boy’s leg, dripping with blood.

Loki’s eyebrows raise as he meets Peter’s eyes again, having half a mind to call Stark then and there - he doesn’t care what they say, that man is most definitely the boy’s father, adopted or surrogate or whatever.

Peter seems to read his intentions on his face and immediately his hands shoot up, tensed, as if with the gesture he can bind Loki in place. “Don’t tell Mister Stark!”

So yeah, this is out of my comfort zone and idk if I did Loki’s voice right at all and I feel like it needs more of something -humor maybe- to be a good story.

“One Day I’ll Fly Away”: Oosh ok so I wasn’t positive if I should put this on here bc I actually haven’t written anything except a couple attempts at a beginning. But I do have several specific parts pretty well planned out. Basically I heard the song “One Day I’ll Fly Away” from Moulin Rouge, saw the clip, and made up my own story to go along, knowing absolutely nothing about the film lol, so don’t judge. It’s sorta got a reverse-Greatest Showman feel? Peter is an orphan who was taken in by Norman Osborn as a child and, y’know, injected with spider DNA. Osborn works with the circus and trained Peter to become the Amazing Spider-Man, the main attraction for Osborn’s show. Peter’s a teenager now and longs to get away (Osborn calls him his son but is abusive and everything), and when Tony comes to see the show they connect. I’m trying to figure out how and why exactly they connect, if it might possibly be a platonic soulmates au, but I’d rather that not be the focus of the story. That whole relationship development part is what I’m really stuck on. But I’ve got other scenes detailed with their meeting and then when Peter makes the choice to leave and be adopted by Tony, the pushback from Osborn and other members of the circus, etc.

So I love the idea and the plans I have, I just don’t know how to write it lol.

“Til the morning comes” Ok I really love my whole idea for this one but I got stuck actually writing after a chapter or two. Harley and Peter get kidnapped together, Harley taken just because he was with Peter. This is after Endgame (but not compliant ofc), Tony introduced them to each other and they’re attending MIT together. No slash fyi, I just really like a soft brotherly relationship. :) Their captors experiment on Peter but mostly leave Harley alone, and Harley tries to patch Peter up and help him when he comes back from whatever experiments *cough*torture*cough* they’ve done. Your basic torture fic except I’m trying out Harley being the caretaker instead of Tony. :) Don’t feel like I’m explaining it great, but I love what I have planned for the ending, I just needta get there.

I don’t feel like I have a great snippet as an example of the fic in general, but here’s a bit I’ve written anyway:

Harley swears, sitting up slowly and rubbing at his face. He gazes around the cell in much the same manner Peter had. “Ah, I see we’ve got the luxury suite. Working toilet and everything.”

“Well I haven’t tested it yet, so… I’m not sure how working,” Peter admits.

Harley smirks lightly before his face solemnifies a little. “What happened? Last I remember, we were walking to the Landau, and then…”

“Tranquilizer darts,” Peter supplies. “They got you with one and you were out.”

“Dang. Tranqs. That’s actually… pretty awesome.”

Peter laughs and shakes his head. “You sound just like Ned.”

Harley grins at him. “Did they tranq you too?”

“Yeah. Took four to put me down.”

“Stupid superpowers,” Harley mutters.
