I’m gods strongest glorybringer supporter always, but one thing that the haters say that really bugs me is that glory’s actions are out of character.

Like one, this is the first time she’s meeting someone who doesn’t treat her like a pet or an idiot. She HAS a different opinion of him because of this. Deathbringer is handsome and respects her, some attraction that she is very much Not Acknowledging is very in character.

But more importantly, glory’s entire arc is about learning to love and accepting that she can be loved. Becoming queen, taking on that responsibility, starting a romantic relationship (which doesn’t actually happen in the book. They got together during the time skip) and eventually become a mother is all ABSOLUTELY important to her character growth
