aaaa thanks for this ask! Been waiting for an excuse to ramble on about it.here’s my first post on my retired soldier!connie hc for any reference!

Retired soldier!connie met his future wife before he was even a soldier and training as a police officer at police academy. Her father was a police chief training men from 18–35 to be police officers and Connie was one of the young men training under him. He gotten the chance to officially meet y/n when he and all the trainees were doing early morning exercises. The chief liked every man to meet his baby girl and respect her so it was somewhat mandatory to meet her. All the men in training give her a simple hand shake and nod but connie’s handshake was much more great in a way. The way he gripped her hand with his strong one and gave her a head shake smiling at her made her wanna twirl a kinky curl on her hair, it was tougher that he was attractive even with the shaved buzzcut head he had.

Once the two did get to know each other before dating their dynamic was very cute though. Y/n being Connie’s golden girl who cared a little too much for him and Connie being like his bad boy, and the two really showed out on that trope. When Connie got himself hurt in police training exercise or something unrelated to that she always has him in her bed as she pouts and fixes up any cuts or bruises as she mutters under her breath.”always in fights.. can’t with you boy..” he just chuckles as she pinches his skin a bit cleaning a cut below his eye. He knows she would never truly quit doing this for him, she might even like it secretly, cleaning up his pretty face.

Retired soldier!connie was the first man to actually break y/n out of her good girl cycle. The first time she broke the rules of the curfew she still had at 19 years old it was like a rush of adrenaline for her. Her father would kill the both of them actually, a police boy in training playing around with his daughter would make his blood boil. She just couldn’t stop messing around with him. She would find herself in his own bed with him on top of him giggling.”you’re bad for me y’know? Could get me in so much trouble.” He just smirked and grabbed her jaw.”you love that though, and don’t pretend like you don’t.”

3 years later Retired soldier!connie decided to start eating his little golden girl when he was officially a police man. He didn’t exactly have her fathers blessing but did he really need another man’s words to date the woman he loved and plans on marrying in the near future?
