Note
So. Fonts are very clearly important... But why not make W.D. Papyrus have an Aster font overlay on the wingdings? Instead of just a basic font?
So... the Aster font is not really related to Wingdings at all
He's just Wingdings
And it's not even confirmed that Gaster comes from Aster🤷‍♀️ it's just a popular fan assumption because of how it sounds and because of Sans sleeping and the "zzz" being in "Aster", but even then the " zzz" is not actually Aster?? They look different

How do the boys(tale, swap, fell, swapfell and fellswap) feel about Alphys and Undyne? Both theirs and in general(if you don’t mind ofc)
(I decided to just do what they think of their own. I hope that’s fine. If you want any more, please ask away!)
UNDERTALE:
* Sans/Undertale Sans ‘ The Judge ‘ - Sans respects the job that Alphys does, but he believes that the fact that she doesn’t believe in herself gets in the way of her work and that if she only would accept his help, she could achieve so much more.
Sans never liked Undyne. He believes that she is just not good enough for Alphys. Alphys is a smart person, meanwhile, Undyne is an only muscle and no brain. Whenever he can, he tries to trash talk Undyne, even if she hasn’t ever done anything bad to him.
* Papyrus/Undertale Papyrus ‘ The Liar ‘  - Papyrus believes that Alphys is a very good person, but that she should avoid Sans. He is a very toxic person at this moment, and Alphys is very weak-willed, so he would be able to push her around, and Papyrus just doesn’t want that.
Papyrus respects Undyne and considers her one of his closest friends. It was because of her that he realized that being part of the royal guard was never something he wanted. what he wanted was to be liked by people.
* Gaster/Undertale Gaster ‘ The Forgotten Scientist ‘ - Gaster believes that Alphys is a very talented person, and he is proud of her and what she had achieved after he had disappeared. He was worried that she won’t survive without him around, but he was glad that he was wrong about that.
Gaster knew Undyne’s father, so he is proud of Undyne too. He is very glad to see that she had reached what she always wanted. He knows that her father would be proud if he would still be around.
* Grillby/Undertale Grillby ‘The Bartender ‘ - Grillby never got involved too much with Alphys. But from the stories that Sans tells him, he believes that she is talented. The fact that she is the royal scientist also says something.
Grillby believes that Undyne is very loud, but she is talented at what she does. If only she would be a little more understanding that drunk people are sensitive to loud sounds, that would be wonderful.
* Asgore/Undertale Asgore 'The Previous King' - Asgore feels like Alphys needs to get out of her comfort zone a little more to be able to reach her full potential. But he believes that having Undyne around her will help her become more confident.
Asgore is very proud of Undyne. Since her father had died, he took care of her. Because of that, he feels like he raised her right, seeing how justice is driven she is. He just hopes that she will keep helping everyone.
* Flowey/Undertale Flowey ' The soulless monster ' - Flowey feels close to Alphys. Even if he acted angry towards her, he is thankful to her that she saved him from a horrible fate. Of course, being a flower isn’t much better, but at least he’s alive.
Flowey absolutely hates Undyne. He believes that she isn’t good enough for Alphys. He also is very afraid of her, that’s why he avoids her whenever he does go visit Alphys.
* Asriel/Undertale Asriel ' The crybaby heir ' - Asriel is absolutely fascinated by the work that Alphys does. He never understood science all that much, but he always wanted to become someone very important to the kingdom, just like Alphys.
Asriel always thought that Undyne was the coolest person ever. He hoped to be trained under her one day, to become a strong and powerful king that would be able to rule the monster kingdom.
* Mickey/Undertale Monster Kid ' The Undyne Fan ' - Mickey finds Alphys to be cool, but not cool enough to be with Undyne. Of course, he won’t say anything, as long as his idol is happy, but still. He really believes that Alphys isn’t good enough for Undyne.
Mickey is absolutely obsessed with Undyne. She was completely the best, and she still is. Mickey always wanted to become like her, and he knows that one day he will manage to do that.
* Ginger/Undertale Burgerpants - In a way, Ginger hates Alphys because she created a body for Mettaton. If not her, then he would be free from this slavery of a job.
Ginger honestly fears Undyne. She is the most frightening person underground, and he isn’t even sure why she is with someone like Alphys. He just hopes no one will find out how he feels towards Alphys or he will die, that’s for sure.
UNDERFELL:
* Red/Underfell Sans ‘ The Sentry’  -  Red fucking hates Alphys. Like, no offense, but the bitch is absolutely insane and he doesn’t understand why he has to work for her. Like, the reason he has even picked up drinking, was because of her treatment towards him.
Undyne is... a unique person. He believes that she is a good person, but because of Alphys, she needs to act cruelly. Undyne has a high moral compass and he cares about everyone. That’s why he respects her.
* Boss/Underfell Papyrus ‘The Guard Captain’  -  Boss believes that Alphys is a very talented woman, but he also believes that she has quite a few problems. He does believe that Undyne will be a very good influence on her.
Boss had a crush on Undyne before, but not anymore, thankfully. He believes that she is a very respectful person and one of the only good monsters underground. He wishes to become like her one day.
* Aster/Underfell Gaster ‘ The Failed Scientist ‘ - Aster isn’t sure how to feel about Alphys. He feels resentment towards her, that she took his place, but he also needs to admit that she is quite good at her job, be it fierce, and usually puts her enjoyment before her job.
Aster never understood why violence was needed. He believes that Undyne is a brute, that’s why he doesn’t really like her. But he won’t get in her way, especially knowing how her family reacts to people who do that.
* Firefly/Underfell Grillby ‘ The Cold Flirt ‘ - Grillby dislikes Alphys. Because of her and her stupid experiments, he had lost quite a few clients, and he doesn’t like it one little bit. If she could just stop killing drunkards, that would be wonderful.
He believes undyne is way too uptight. If she would only loosen up a little bit, things would be better. Thankfully, she and a few of her guards do come and drink here now, which is very good.
* Tenor/Underfell Asgore ' The Tyrant' - Tenor doesn’t care much about what Alphys does. She is insane and nothing will ever change that. As long as she doesn’t get in the way of his work, he won’t say anything.
Tenor enjoys how loyal Undyne is. Because of her good job, no one ever dares to say or do anything against him.
* Daffodil/Underfell Flowey ' The frightful flower ' - Daffodil fears Alphys with all that he has. The moment he could he ran away. He is so afraid of her catching him again, seeing as she is searching for him. He doesn’t want to be left alone with her again.
Undyne is frightening too, but at least she seems to have some morals. Because of that, Daffodil doesn’t exactly run from her, seeing as she doesn’t bring him to Alphys either.
* Tuscan/Underfell Asriel ' The obsessive prince ' - Tuscan doesn’t like Alphys. He believes that the position of the royal scientist is wasted on her. Even Red could do a better job, and Tuscan hates Sans.
Tuscan always admired Undyne. He has been working hard to be able to become part of the guard and work alongside her. He knows he’s not getting the throne anytime soon, so at least, he wants to be useful.
SWAPFELL:
* Razz/Swapfell Sans ‘ The Lord ‘ -  Razz is embarrassed to admit it, but he had a crush on Alphys for a very long time. Of course, he now just respects her as his equal, but the past does embarrass him still.
Razz doesn’t enjoy being around Undyne, but he is forced to, seeing that she is Mutt’s best friend. He tries to keep all his interactions with Undyne civil.
* Mutt/Swapfell Papyrus ‘ The Wild Dog’  - Mutt doesn’t really mind Alphys. She is Undyne’s girlfriend, and she is Razz’s only friend, so of course, Mutt could never really hate Alphys.
Mutt likes Undyne quite a bit. They are best friends, though, he does find it weird how obsessive undyne is over him and everyone. But he isn’t exactly much better.
* Marigold/Swapfell Asgore ' The Unstable Caretaker' - Marigold finds Alphys to be very violent, and completely a brute. He does hope that she will soon be replaced by Razz, seeing as he is much better than Alphys.
Marigold finds Undyne to be quite a pleasant person to be around. He invites her to drink tea quite a bit. He would go as far as saying that the two are ever friends.
* Pitch/Swapfell Chara ' The Cheerful ambassador ' - Pitch finds Alphys to be a cool person! The two train quite a bit, and seeing as he has so much energy to let out, he loves it! Becoming her friend was one of his best choices.
Pitch finds Undyne to be quite misunderstood. Sure, she loves to experiment on him, and he is sure that a third eye grew on his stomach, but she is quite nice outside of that! A little creepy but nice nonetheless.
* Chartreuse/Swapfell Frisk ' The domineering prince ' - Chartreuse believes that Alphys is quite a good worker. Thought, he would want her to be crueler. If she would be, maybe then, criminals would stop doing what they do.
Undyne to him is too weak. It’s a mystery how she had survived this long. The moment that he becomes king, he will make sure that she disappears completely. He is sure that she is dragging Alphys behind too.
UNDERSWAP:
* Lucky/Underswap Sans ‘ The Manipulator’  -  Lucky enjoys being Alphys quite a bit. She is one of the only friends that he has, and that he actually enjoys being around.
Lucky finds Undyne to be pathetic, especially with how she allowed Stretch to play with her however he wanted. Honestly, she doesn’t deserve to be with Alphys.
* Stretch/Underswap Papyrus ‘ The Puppet ‘   -  Stretch is scared of Alphys. After she broke his bones when she found out what he did to Undyne, he has been avoiding the two of them as much as possible.
Stretch and Undyne were best friends at some point until Stretch became a little too touchy. He thought that she wouldn’t mind. But getting his bones broken by Alphys was enough of an answer.
* Dings/Underswap Gaster ‘ The RiverMan ‘ - Dings dislikes Alphys. How dare she hurt his boy? The only person that can hurt his boys is he himself, so of course he dislikes Alphys. Maybe even hates her.
Dings hates Undyne. If only she kept quiet, and let Stretch do whatever he wanted, then he wouldn’t have gotten hurt and wouldn’t think twice before trying to do something like that again..
* Tawny/Underswap Asriel ' The friendly town guide ' - Tawny enjoys meeting with Alphys. He had only met her a few times, but she has been quite nice. He had showed her around Snowdin, and she was quite a nice to him while he was doing that.
Tawny believes that Undyne is quite a nice and smart person. He doesn’t really know her, but from the stories that Alphys has told at Muffet’s, he believes her to be good.
FELLSWAP:
* Blackberry/Fellswap Sans ‘ The WannaBe Guard ‘ - Blackberry doesn’t really like being around Alphys, but sadly, because of what his brother did, he still needs to work for the royal guard to have his crimes forgiven..
Blackberry finds Undyne to be a nice person to be around, but he tries to avoid her. She seems too similar to his brother for him to be comfortable around.
* Patch/Fellswap Papyrus ‘ The Loyal Pet ‘ - Patch doesn’t like Alphys. Because of her, his brother has been quite unhappy lately, and that never sits well with him. He’ll make sure to hurt Alphys one day.
Patch and Undyne are quite close friends, but since his brother started to work for Alphys, he has been avoiding Undyne. Though, they do talk on the phone from time to time.

Undertales of Friendship: Beware the Man Who Speaks in Hands
Tumblr media
Frisk was not having very good dreams.
Over and over, he would find himself descending down, down into the dark recesses of the "True" Laboratory beneath the normal place where Alphys had worked in the underground. The walls a dark green, a chill running through the air, a faint fog all around his feet as he nervously stepped past patient chair after patient chair. Over and over again he'd approach the sinks in the back of the room, turning them on to get the key one of them had inside them, hoping to flood the sinks and for the key to either float up, or the pipes beneath to burst open to get what he wanted. Yet that always gave way to the sight of that...THING coming out of the third sink.
A cute little round, cheery face, twisting and bulging and morphing into a monstrosity with a horrific laugh, large black eyes with pinprick white pupils gazing back. A tongue lagging out of one of many mouths, eternally crying and bleeding-black eyes on a whispy, curved tail like a scythe. This...this odd, strange, faintly melted specter of many faces looking back at him, three in a row all rising up from the sinks, mouths opening and closing and all speaking at once, and saying the same phrase again and again.
"LOREM IPSUM DOCET.
LOREM IPSUM DOCET.
LOREM IPSUM DOCET."
Frisk knew what it meant. Sorrow itself teaches. And he knew what these things were. Pieces of what had once been the Royal Scientist of the Underground, WingDinG Aster, aka Gaster, as he preferred to be called. More bestial and darker traits had risen up in this little "Mini-Me" of Gaster, and they were really only interested in one thing.
"Come join the fun."
"It's a real get together!"
"Become one of us! One of us!"
"You'll be with us soon." The Memoryheads intoned, as more heads sprang up around Frisk, knocking him back as they bulged and popped, Frisk shivering as the Memoryhead closest to him intoned in a dark voice.
"Sorrow itself teaches."
"Teaches what?" Frisk asked. And again the Memoryheads would get closer...closer. "Look, I-I don't want to join in the fun!" He insisted. How many times had he done this before, only to be ignored as they leapt on him and-
But now it was different. Now they merged together, popping and squishing into one, growing larger and larger as an enormous black maw opened slowly and a voice faintly echoey in tone rang out.
"I only want what's mine. And you have a part of it."
"Wh-what's that?" Frisk asked, a gigantic head now staring down at him, white pupils gazing deeper and deeper into him as Frisk found himself sinking, going further into the endless black that was engulfing him-
And then he awoke, Fluttershy the Pegasus gently dabbing a cloth over his head as he sat up on her couch, glancing about her little cottage. "Wh-what happened?"
"Oh, Frisk, sweetie, you fainted in the middle of feeding the chickens outside. Is it too hot for you? I don't know why you always wear a long-sleeve shirt." Fluttershy sighed a little, waving a hoof in the air. "I mean, blue does bring out your eyes, but you must get very hot."
"No, it...it isn't that." Frisk muttered, holding a hand to his head as he cringed. "I keep having these bad dreams and I haven't slept well lately."
"...dreams?" Fluttershy murmured. "Hmm. You know, I think I know someone who could help with bad dreams." She offered with a gentle smile, clasping her hooves together and beaming.
And indeed, a quick letter from Spike was sent out, and Princess Luna of Equestria was soon back in Ponyville, happily meeting with Frisk as the tired, ragged-faced, scarcely-able-to-keep-his-eyes-open child moaned, rubbing his head as he laid on the couch in Fluttershy's home. Fluttershy handed him some golden flower tea, another very popular dish brought up from the Underground thanks to the kindhearted Toriel, and Luna thoughtfully looked him over, dark blue eyes gazing intently at him as Sans, who was also there to look after the kid, gave the kid a hot dog. Or rather, a hot cat.
"Ugghhh. I'm sorry, Sans. I don't feel like eating it."
"geez. ain't even hungry enough to have one of my specialties? now I KNOW somethin' ain't right with you." Sans said, shaking his bony head back and forth. "maybe a joke'll cheer you up. what do you call a guy who gets run over? tired."
Fluttershy, Luna and Frisk all slooooowly turned their heads to directly look at each other, then at Sans, saying absolutely nothing. "..."
"...wow, something IS wrong with you. not even a chuckle." Sans commented with a surprised look on his face.
"I can see his soul's aura. It is plagued with bad dreams. Something has a grip on him." She reasoned aloud. "Frisk, I ask of you. Tell me EVERYTHING thou dost remember of thy dreams. It's most imperative."
"I'm dreaming of these...amalgamates. Melted-together things, pieces of a person that used to be. They're called Memoryheads because they're...well, they're like living heads that are the embodiment of a memory of a man." Frisk said, his tone sounding just as exhausted as the child looked. "A man named Dr. Gaster. He used to be the Monster Kingdom's Royal Scientist...and he was Sans and Papyrus's big brother."
"Whatever happened to him?" Fluttershy softly inquired.
"He fell into his machine, into the time/space continuum and now's in pieces."
"what Frisk here means is that he's at a PIECE conference." Sans remarked wryly.
Many, many, MANY miles away, something stirred. A very furious growl turned into a roar as a cracked face snarled out high and loud enough to crack every glass window in Canterlot. Which it DID.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT BONEHEAD SAID THAT!"
"OW. OW. Sans, that joke was so bad it's physically hurting me, OWWW." Frisk moaned out, Luna whacking her head against the nearby wall over and over again, Fluttershy covering her face with one hoof as Sans nonchalantly shrugged.
"maybe you're right. guess I should leave and make sure you get some-"
"DON'T YOU DARE-"
"PIECE and quiet."
"OHHHHH." Frisk groaned, writhing on the couch as Sans exited the house, laughing uproariously as another pained groan echoed out from miles away in Canterlot.
"Ugggghhhhh. How detestible. He should put more backbone into his pu-" Princess Luna began to say before cringing. "Oh sonofa-"
"HA!" Sans laughed.
Unbeknownst to them, it wasn't Frisk who was in the most danger. No, that dubious honor went to Papyrus, who was hard at work in his new job as a guard for Princess Celestia in her palace at Canterlot. Well, "work" is a strong word. Because currently, he was, along with the other guards, enjoying a nice game of charades with her. Celestia was pantomining a clown to demonstrate the circus, though the guards couldn't quite pick up on that, least of all Papyrus. Then again, perhaps the other guards DID realize it, they just couldn't speak over Pap's VERY loud voice.
"OH! OH, YOU ARE A FLOWER! NO, NO WAIT, YOU ARE A PATIENT FROM AN INSANE ASYLUM! NO, NO WAIT! A MAGICIAN! YES, I AM CERTAIN YOU ARE A MAGICIAN! IS THE WORD MAGIC?"
Celestia chuckled a little, Papyrus happily bouncing up and down in the throne room as she cheerily smiled back, some of the other guards jabbing each other in the side, snickering a bit at his childish exeuberance. It was really quite adorable.
But then the room began to get dark and cold, a chill settling in as Celestia realized that she could see her breath right in front of her. She gasped, quickly looking around the room as the expanse all about her began to convert into utter shadows, and she narrowed her eyes. Was this Discord playing a prank? It couldn't be Sombra, he wasn't around anymore! What was going on?
"...PaPyRuS..." A voice whispered, its voice haunting and echoing as Papyrus stiffened in shock, Celestia looking over in his direction before inky blackness began to swell around him, Papyrus struggling to get free of the darkness that was engulfing him. He let out a gasp, trying to push the other guards away so they wouldn't get sucked in, Celestia racing towards him.
"NO! PRINCESS, STAY BACK! I DO NOT WISH YOU HARMED!" Papyrus insisted, the blackness carefully pinning his arms to his sides as a form rose out of the black, its face skeletal, one black crack running up its right eye, another running down towards its mouth on the left as it gazed over Papyrus, bony hand clasping Papyrus's cheek. "DO...DO I KNOW YOU?"
"You don't remember, Papyrus?" It spoke. "I remember everything about you. Everything."
Papyrus's mouth gaped open slightly, Celestia taking a step forward, eyes intently narrowed as her horn glowed. "You release him NOW. I will not allow you to harm an innocent."
"I only want what's mine." The being said. "I need...to make USE of you." It told Papyrus.
And with that, the inky blackness exploded outward like a bomb, Celestia reeling back along with the guards as she gasped, glancing around...
Papyrus was gone.
AN HOUR LATER...
Sans was calmly sitting on a bench in the park, leaning back and doing nothing. Just the way he liked things. Calmly sighing, he looked up at the sky, and the clouds idly passing by as he saw Papyrus approaching off in the distance, dressed in his normal attire and eagerly sitting down next to him. "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?" Papyrus asked Sans.
"well, i like to watch shapes in the clouds. that one looks like a flying dragon, see?" Sans said, pointing with a bony finger up at a draconic-shaped puffy cloud that looked like it was belching out 'flames', Papyrus nodding in agreement.
"OH, YES, IT DOES INDEED."
"and that lil' one over there looks like a mother duck, and the other ones after it are lil' ducklings."
"LIKE THAT CUTE LITTLE BIRD THAT LOVES TO CARRY PEOPLE OVER RIVERS?" Papyrus inquired.
"yeah. we gotta treasure that bird." Sans agreed with a calm, respectful nod.
"MAY I TRY ONE?"
"of course, paps." Sans said with a wink, Papyrus rubbing his long chin before pointing upward with a red-gloved hand.
"OOH! THAT ONE LOOKS LIKE A WOUNDED DERPY WITH SMOKE COMING OFF OF HER WINGS-"
KRAKKA-THROOOOOM! Derpy Hooves crashed hard into the market, a cry of "MY CABBAGES" echoing out through the air as a loud "Sorry' echoed out soon after, Derpy limping by them, angrily holding up an exploded mailbag, complete with the shredded remains of what had been a suspicious package and cake frosting and cabbages all over her body, Sans raising a nonexistent eyebrow as he looked her over.
"what happened?"
"It's a SICK world we live in with SICK PONIES!" Derpy shrieked, grumbling darkly as Papyrus shook his head back and forth.
"WHAT A SHAME. THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER SEND MAIL THROUGH THE POSTAL SYSTEM."
"yeah. i'm guessing that was a Boom Boom Cake of Pinkie Pie's."
"HOW CAN YOU TELL?"
"cuz she's got a real explosive personality."
Silence for a long, long time before Papyrus wryly remarked "...I HATE TO TELL YOU THIS, BROTHER, BUT YOUR JOKE JUST...BOMBED."
Sans stiffened a little, slowly turning his head, as if truly seeing Papyrus for the first time, his mouth agape in surprise as Papyrus put a hand on his shoulder...with incredible weight behind it. "you're not paps."
"NO...I'm not." The being that was not Papyrus said. "You know who I am, Sans. And you know why I'm here. You understand why."
"gaster, come on, he's just a child-" Sans began to say, Gaster's stolen form shaking its head back and forth solemnly.
"I'm not going to harm him anymore than I've harmed Papyrus. Or that I'll harm you. I only want what's mine." Gaster explained."Now come. It's time for all of us to be one big family, Sans. The way it should be." He intoned kindly, as Sans felt a large embrace engulf him, the shadows swallowing his form as he fell deeper, deeper, deeper into the abyssal black around him...
And then, within a few moments, there was only what appeared to be Sans on the bench as he made his way back towards Fluttershy's cottage. "now then...third time is the charm."
...
...
...
...Frisk was still on the couch, fast asleep as Luna held a hoof to his head, focusing intently, her lips slightly pursed. Fluttershy stood nearby, biting her lip as the light softly filtered in through the window, bathing over Frisk in soft golden light as Luna cringed.
"This is serious. An immense block is inside his mind. Whatever's inside him has placed a mental barrier that I cannot easily break through. I will need additional help, Fluttershy." Luna sighed at last, removing her hoof from Frisk's forehead before steepling her hooves, lying back in the chair she was sitting on. "He will have to be taken to Zecora."
"taken to ol' stripeybutt, huh?" Sans's voice rang out as they turned, seeing he was stepping out of the closet, Fluttershy gasping as she slightly jumped up in the air. "what? c'mon, Fluttershy. nothing wrong with a couple skeletons in your closet. everybody has 'em."
"I take it you could simply...shortcut your way to Zecora?" Princess Luna mused aloud as he looked Sans over, the skeleton giving a cute little wink, showing off a faintly royal blue glowing eye as Frisk was softly hovered through the air and over towards him. "However are you able to do that?"
"ahhh, blue magic runs in the family, really." Sans the Skeleton remarked with a shrug. "both my brothers got different mastery over it. But Paps's spirit's tied to the trait of Bravery, so his magic comes off more orange. Me, I'm patient, so mine's light blue." He remarked with a shrug, unzipping his blue jacket as the sleeping Frisk was caaaarefully lowered down, down, and soon, was perfectly positoned right in front of Sans's form. With a little smile, Sans zipped his jacket back up, Frisk now warmly tucked away in the jacket almost like a mother kangaroo with her baby joey, as Sans patted the sleeping child on the head. "theeeere we go. all snug as a bug in a rug."
"You've been waiting to do that to him for a while, haven't you?" Fluttershy asked with a smile. "I can tell."
Sans gave her a big grin. "oh, you've no idea." He said, reopening the closet. "i'll see you two later. got a lot to do." he remarked before popping into the closet again, Fluttershy smiling before suddenly stiffening up. Something hadn't been right. What had he said? "My magic's light blue".
...but Frisk had been surrounded in a royal blue light.
"Princess Luna, I think something terrible has just happened." She realized aloud, wheeling around and looking into Luna's eyes. "We need to find Ms. Toriel immediately."
Meanwhile, Frisk was still tucked away inside the jacket as Gaster-Sans calmly walked down the forest path, heading to the abandoned Castle of the Two Sisters, the old castle of Princess Luna and Celestia. The castle was long overgrown, its steeples crumbling and cracked with trees around it drooping and saddened, everything about it giving off the air of dejection and abandonment as Gaster's borrowed form approached the front of the castle and pushed the doors open. Little Frisk was still fast asleep, Gaster's stolen form looking quietly down at Frisk, biting into a lack of bony lip.
He felt guilt. Frisk had been nothing but kind and loving to monsters like him. He'd freed his kind, he'd given his brothers something to live for again. Such a dear child.
"I..." He hesitated, gently stroking Frisk's brown-haired head. He just looked so cute, all tucked away tight and warm and safe in his jacketed body. "...he's just a child..." He murmured.
But he wanted to be whole again so dearly. To just be himself. Before he'd only been able to hold onto the material world in little bits and pieces, barely able to manifest for more than five minutes. But now with Sans and Papyrus sampled...
And soon it would be three with Frisk. Out of everyone in the Underground, four had the strongest physical connection to him. He'd been scattered in pieces across the Underground, and had barely managed to scrape enough of himself together for this wild, desperate plan. He needed four souls, and the pieces of himself within them: Sans, Papyrus, Frisk and Alphys. With Papyrus, his physical form would become more stable. With Sans, his mind would get more stable. With Alphys, he could get back his Soul. And with Frisk would come his heart, his compassion. He needed that. He needed to feel again. To just love someone.
"You're only feeling remnants of a man who once was." He murmured to himself, gently taking Frisk's sleeping form out of his jacket and laying him on a table as his visage began to shift, growing taller and darker. "You don't truly feel guilty. All you feel is a shell. Intellectually, you know you should feel disgusted. But you don't truly feel it. With the child claimed, you will. With the child claimed, you will feel again. Be almost utterly whole again. It's everything you want, isn't it?"
He now stood tall, a large skeleton in a dark cloaked robe with a silver undershirt, his form lean and faintly thin. A black crack ran up his eye, another running down to his mouth from the other eye, his skeletal hands having large holes in the center as he gently laid one on Frisk's head. "Believe me." He spoke softly to Frisk. "I'm truly grateful. With this, I'll be whole again. And you'll never be alone." He offered, shadows beginning to rise around Frisk as his SOUL was exposed...
Gaster flinching as he reeled back, cringing as he clutched at his chest, feeling his remnant of a Soul, his pale imitation flinching. Damn. The soft light of Sans and Papyrus within him were objecting. They were almost utterly overpowering him. Perhaps he couldn't claim the child yet. He'd need more raw power. Perhaps Alphys would do. Her Soul was rather weak-willed in comparison, and would provide the boost needed.
Ah, well. For now he could at least do one thing with the child. Carefully lifting the child up, he placed him between the folds of his coat as he buttoned it up more, the little one nicely tucked away inside him as he softly enjoyed the gentle movements of Frisk turning ever-so-slightly in a peaceful slumber. Sighing, Gaster sat down against a nearby wall, and softly drifted off to sleep himself to join the child in dreamland...

I am delighted to find this wonderful blog where I can make requests for Gaster Papyrus. You can bet that I'll be a regular on here from now on ;) Okay so could you do G Sans and G Pap reacting to their S/O wearing their clothes? I am so weak for that trope XD Hope you have a good day!
(AAHHHHHH FIRST G!BROS ASK!!! THANK YOU
Gaster!Sans (G)
You were originally planning on pranking G by waiting for his return from the store then jumping out of his closet and scaring him, but when you opened his closet………..
Instead of finding different articles of clothing in the closet, it was just a lineup of the exact same thing G always wears.
Crop top leather jacket with faux fur, gray sweater, tight leather pants, boots, and some…………pffffffft. You giggled to yourself as you picked up a pair of brightly colored spaghetti socks.
Either these were his brother’s and this was a laundry mix up, or G had always been wearing spaghetti socks underneath all that “bad boy hunk” clothing. Either way, your fiancee was a total dork and you loved it.
Grinning to yourself, you took off a sweater/jacket combo from the hangars and a pair of leather pants before heading over to the full length mirror in the bedroom and holding the clothes against you.
You snorted, these clothes were super long on you! You felt your amusement die out after a moment of holding the clothes to your frame and pretending to be G. You went to put the clothes back when an idea struck you.
Smiling devilishly, you hurried to put the clothes on wait in the living room for G to come home.

After about 10 minutes of waiting G entered the humble apartment you called home. “Darlin’! I’m home!” G announced, tossing his keys on the counter, heading straight to the kitchen “Welcome home, love!” You called back, forcing yourself to sound normal.
“How was your day?” You asked, hiding your face behind a book “Heh, better now that I’m hoooooooooooo- whoa.”
You bit your lip to keep yourself from laughing. Now doubt G was now gaping at you across the room, and you felt giddy about his reaction. “See something you like, babe?” You said smugly, throwing G’s favorite pick up line against him.
You lowered your book and had to physically restrain yourself from giggling. G was standing across the room, jaw unhinged and a yellow tint across his cheekbones. You saw his eyelights trailing you up and down in awe and wonder and you felt yourself blush.
“Sure do, sweetcheeks” G breathed, scraping a nervous hand over his skull. His clothes were a bit long on you (mainly the pants) but hot dang if you didn’t pull it off!
The pant legs were rolled up a bit, slightly scrunched up by your ankles, the pants were designed to be form fitting and G had never fully appreciated that aspect of them till now. You wearing his sweater was not too new a sight for him as you’d always steal them during the colder months, but the sweater combined with the leather jacket?
Sweet mother of echo flowers, G felt his soul stop and his eye lights unable to focus on anything but you. How could anything be this unbelievably hot and cute?!
G felt his face split into a grin as he stalked closer to you. You chewed your lip shyly and made room for him on the couch which G immediately filled as he took your face in his hands “Darlin’, I know I looked good in those clothes but you…?” G sucked in a breath and placed a hard, claiming kiss to your lips “You make ‘em look drop dead gorgeous.”
Gaster!Papyrus (Aster)
Today was a lazy day for the two of you, a rare occurrence since you both had demanding jobs, but worth it for quiet moments like these with you both curled up in Aster’s home on the sofa with popcorn, candy, and fresh garlic bread spread out on the table as you both binged BBC Sherlock.
It was always relaxing to feel Aster’s long arm wrapped around you, hugging you closely to him, and you always found yourself stuck between melting into a puddle of happiness and wanting to fall asleep in his arms.
Unfortunately, somewhere between Sherlock being accused of a murderer and kidnapping John and the Pool Scene (y’all know which scene I mean) Aster had run out of his favorite snack and went to refill.
Knowing it would take him a while, you decided to tease him a bit. You knew your Aster had a weak spot for cute things and you also knew he loved his trench coat fashion. So, what did you do? You put yourself in the most appropriate trench coat of course.
Silently running to his room, you quickly shifted through the section of his walk-in Narnia-esque wardrobe designated for coats and you grabbed the desired one before rushing out and grabbing his favorite scarf and wrapping it around your neck.
Checking to make sure he was still preoccupied, you tip toed back to the sofa and began Phase 2 of your impromptu plan. Grinning, you began carefully setting yourself down on the back of the couch, laying your body flat before bringing your hands to your lips, acting like you were in thought.
“So sorry for keeping you waiting, love!” Aster called out from the kitchen, shuffling a few things around “I’m almost done!” You grinned to yourself and had to remind yourself not to giggle. “It’s fine, hon!” You called back “I’m not going anywhere!”
You heard Aster chuckle to himself and you bit your lip from giggling in anticipation of his reaction. “Alright, I’m rea-………dy?” Aster stopped mid-step and looked at you wide eyes. “Wh-what a-are you doing?” He stammered, cheek bones flaring brightly with his magic.
“Sherlocking.” You replied curtly, referring to your position of planking in a random position, “Why?” You grinned and turned your head to see Aster staring at you with wide eyes and a slack jaw.
“I-I, uh, ahem, y-you, er…” Aster struggled to form any coherent thought or sound as you jumped up from your position and began walking towards him. “S’matter, Aster ?” You purred evilly, stopping once you were within arms length (your arms length, not his) and folded your hands behind your back “Cat got your tongue?”
Aster swallowed harshly before trying to regain his normal charm and suave by leaning down and cupping your face in his hand “Have I mentioned you look stunning as a female Sherlock Holmes, kitten?” He grinned, placing a quick peck to your lips.
“Although……..” He tapped his chin and leaned back in thought. “Although…?” You repeated, tilting your head and dropping the teasing act in favor of curiosity. Aster said nothing but tapped his chin faster as his eyes scanned the room. “Ah, yes!” He cried suddenly, rushing to the front-room closet and grabbing something.
You tried to see what it was but he quickly hid it behind his back and placed a hand over your eyes “No peeking, dearest” He teased, you huffed in fake irritation but obeyed with a smile.
You felt something being tugged on your head and once he was done fidgeting, you opened your eyes as Aster led you to a mirror, “Ah, there we are!” Pap cooed “The most perfect Sherlock Holmes to ever exist!”
You blushed and pulled the coat collars up to hide your reddening face “Aaaaaaaasteeeeeerrrrrrr!!” You whined, shoving your hands into the pockets of the coat as you tried to sink into the fabric.
As you shoved your hands in the pockets, you felt one of your hands collide with something hard. “Ouch!” You cried yanking your hand out “What was that?” You reached back in -carefully this time- and pulled out a small black box.
“Hey, Aster? What’s this box for?” You asked curiously, tilting your head curiously. Aster could only stutter as his blush increased tenfold. So much for asking you to marry him with an extravagant, private dinner………

Baby Spinach, chapter 11
Summary: a family in snapshots.
Wordcount: 3189
Stay tuned for an important announcement at the end of the fic!
The imposter (no name on record) is held in the Royal Guard headquarters in the capital city for a day, then transferred to the Hotland detention center for further processing.  He isn’t tried for murder because crimes against humans aren’t part of the monster justice system, but he is convicted on felony child abuse via negligence, cruelty, maltreatment physical injury requiring medical treatment.  The proceedings are done quietly to keep attention off of Sans and Papyrus, who would face consequences if knowledge of their human origins became public.  The imposter is sentenced to one third lifetime imprisonment which, after some surprisingly difficult research, is impossible to set due to his indeterminate species origin.  The court decides on thirty years of incarceration.
“That’s not long enough,” Sans says after Gaster does his best to explain the situation.
“No, it isn’t,” Gaster agrees, “But it’s long enough that you’ll be more than strong enough to defend yourselves by the time he gets out.”
Sans looks at Papyrus, who is sitting in his playpen with a teething ring in his mouth.  “And we get to stay here, right?”
“The courts ruled that I have custody of you until you come of age.”
He looks back to Gaster, who gets the distinct feeling he’s being sized up.  Sans is still wearing a bandage over one eye socket.  The medical reports say he may never fully regain binocular vision.  It makes Gaster feel a rare desire for revenge.
“Donahue and Gerald will also be around,” Gaster points out instead of following the thread of vengeance.  “And in thirty years, you’ll be an adult, beholden to no one.”
“I guess,” Sans reluctantly agrees.  He seems to continue mulling the situation over.
Gaster waits patiently.
“You came for us,” Sans says after another long pause, “I want to stay with you.”
Papyrus makes a pleased humming noise from his pen.
“That’s good,” Gaster says, “Because I’d like it very much if you stayed.”
-
Gerald helps remodel Gaster’s rooms.  It takes a few days (and several arguments over unassembled furniture instructions), but by the end of the week he’s transformed his office into a working-space-slash-bedroom.  His old bedroom becomes a safe place for two skeleton children to grow up, complete with a bed and a crib (ready to be upgraded to a second bed as Papyrus grows), a desk, shelves for Sans’ rotating collection of library books, and a closet filled with clothes.
Sans, holding Papyrus in his arms, wanders in as Gaster finishes hanging up the last of the clothes.  The eyepatch has been removed and Sans reports that he can see almost as well as before the incident, but his right eye socket no longer glows when Sans accesses his magic.
He looks over the various pieces of clothing spread across the bed.  “They’re all different,” he says, in a tone that suggests he doesn’t understand the situation.
“It’s so you can wear what you want,” Gaster explains, threading a shirt onto a coat hanger.
“Huh.”
Sans continues to watch him work.  After installing two shirts on hangers and moving them into the closet, Gaster gets the impression Sans wants to talk about something, but is apprehensive about asking.
“Was there something you needed?”  He asks to save them both some time.
“Yeah, actually.  I wanted to ask you something.”  Sans bounces Papyrus in his arms to get his attention, then points at Gaster with his free hand.  “Hey, Pap, who’s that?”
Papyrus looks at Gaster.  He breaks out into a wide smile and points at him.  “Da!”
Gaster, who has a children’s-sized shirt in one hand and a coat hanger in the other, is completely taken aback by this development.
“Doctor Snowdrake and I talked about what happened,” Sans says, as though his baby brother isn’t giggling over Gaster’s reaction to abruptly becoming a father, “And I think it’s best if Papyrus doesn’t know about our dad until he’s older.  Maybe until he’s grown up, even.”  He shoves his free hand into his pocket.  “So that means he needs a new dad.”
Sans clears his throat.
“And I figured hey, we’re already living with an adult who cares about what we want and treats us with respect.  That’s like a dad, right?”
Gaster sets down the shirt and the coat hanger and crosses the room.  He kneels down on the carpet so he’s closer to Sans’ height, and puts one hand on each child’s shoulder.  And he smiles.
“Yes, I suppose it is,” he agrees.  “Does that make you my sons?”
Sans considers this for a moment.  Papyrus reaches out and pats Gaster’s face with a grin.  “Yeah,” he says, sounding more than a little choked up, “I guess it does.”
Gaster holds out a formal hand.  “Hello then, sons.”
Sans takes it and shakes.  The formality is ruined by how wide he’s smiling.  “Hey there, dad.”
“Dah,” Papyrus agrees.
-
After the secret underground lab is cleared out and the children’s meager possessions are returned, Sans lends Gaster his books on child development.  He supplements them with materials on child-rearing from the library.  Alphys graciously helps Gaster find resources.  Gaster asks after his well being, and they end up talking about the ordeal over lunch in Alphys’ office.
Alphys privately shares that Aubrey is staying with her mother for the time being.  “I can’t blame her,” he confides over coffee, “After what that man did while wearing my face, it’s no wonder she doesn’t want to be around me right now.”
Gaster warms his hands on the coffee mug.  He’s had so much coffee over the past month, he’s begun to develop an unfortunate liking of it.
“D-did you get custody of Sans and Papyrus,” Alphys asks.
“I did.  I also seem to have earned the ‘dad’ title.”
“That’s wonderful!  Congratulations, D-doctor.”
“Please,” Gaster says, “After everything that’s happened, ‘doctor’ seems to formal.  Call me Gaster.”
“Then I’ll have to ask you to call me Hector,” Alphys says with a smile.
They let the conversation dwindle, sitting in comfortable silence.
“How are they d-doing?” Alphys asks.
It’s a complicated question.  Gaster chooses his words carefully.  “Doctor Snowdrake is meeting with Sans once a week.  She believes any trauma will emerge in time.”
Alphys nods as he digests this.  “Would she happen to have any recommendations for child therapists in Hotland?”
“I’ll be sure to ask her.”
The quiet resumes.  It’s less comfortable now.
This time, Gaster is the one to break it.  “This isn’t your fault.”
“You don’t know that,” Alphys says, speaking into his mug.
“There is nothing you could have done.”
“I could have d-done something,” Alphys says quietly.  “I should have d-done something.”
“What could you have done?”
“Something.  Anything!  Anything that would have kept my baby girl away from that man.”
Gaster, who now understands the weight of caring for children, takes the mug from Alphys’ trembling hands.  “Hector,” he says gently, “When was the last time you spoke with your wife?”
“I d-don’t know, a few weeks ago.”  He wrings he hands.  “I haven’t been able to face her.”
“Have you spoken with anyone about this?”
Alphys sighs.  “No.”
Gaster catches his hands and holds them still.  “Why do you want Aubrey to see a therapist?”
Alphys’ hands stop, but he avoids eye contact and clearly wants to continue fidgeting.  “So she can talk to someone about what she’s been through.”
“Why wouldn’t you extend yourself the same courtesy?”
Alphys finally looks up.  Tears have leaked past the rims of his new glasses.  He looks absolutely heart broken.  “Because I d-don’t d-deserve it.”
Gaster holds Alphys’ hands with both of his own.  “I don’t think you get to decide that.”
They speak quietly about anxiety and being a victim and what people do and don’t deserve.  In the end, Alphys agrees to one session with a local therapist specializing in trauma counseling.  After the first appointment, he agrees to another.  Three months later, he gets milkshakes with Aster and Aubrey for the first time since his abduction.  Twenty years later, Aubrey begins work at the Royal Laboratory.
-
Donahue starts wandering into Gaster's office when she's between shifts at the royal lab.  She's donated various coffee blends to Project Ghost Brew, which is what she calls her continuing efforts to educate Gaster on caffinated drinks.  The results are mixed, and the other members of the royal guard soon know where to get a free pot of good coffee.  Gaster's office becomes an unofficial break-room right around the time Papyrus takes an interest in talking.
He watches each guard with undisguised fascination.  Sans says he's taking in different kinds of speech.  Gaster doesn't know enough about infants to determine whether that's true or not.  Today, Papyrus is sitting on Gaster's lap as he reworks some equations.  Two guards, the enormous white dog and a smaller, spotted dog have brewed a pot of half-city roast and set up at the small table set up for exactly this kind of situation, while Sans reads on the couch.  He doesn't make contact with the various people who have decided Gaster's office is a good place to spend their breaks, but he also doesn't shy away from them anymore, which Gaster sees as a huge step towards socialization.
“...and then we kicked down the door,” the spotted dog says with a laugh, “And there's the farmer, paintbrush in hand, writing numbers on a snail.  He had the nerve to say he was numbering them so he could tell if one ran off!”
“Ran off,” Papyrus repeats.
The huge dog gives a high-pitched bark and wags his tail.
“So I ask if this guys expects me to believe that.  He nods like he's come up with the smartest thing anyone's ever heard!”  He smacks his leg with a laugh, “I didn't anyone was that dumb, but this guy was dumb as shit.”
“Dumb as shit!” Papyrus chirps.
The dogs choke on their coffee.  Sans' eyelights wink out.  A wide smile stretches over his face.  Gaster notes that he seems to have picked up Donahue's habit of grinning in place of more complicated facial expressions.
“Sorry,” the spotted dog mutters as Sans puts down his book and stalks to Gaster's makeshift office pantry.
Sans returns with an empty coffee can and a marker.  He scrawls something, then places the can on the table.  It now reads Swear Jar in large, serif-less letters.
“You're kidding,” the dog says.
Sans wordlessly, repeatedly taps the can against the table.  His eye sockets are still hollow, and he's still baring his teeth in what could be called an openly hostile grin.
The dog's ears fold back against his head.  He digs through his pockets and comes up with two gold pieces that go into the jar.
“Thank you,” Sans says without moving his mouth.
That week, a wave of clean language sweeps throughout the facility.  Vending machine profit dips, and Papyrus is seen carrying a small toy owl through the halls.
-
“You can’t do a simulation because there’s nothing to base it on,” says Sans, age ten.
“I can assure you it is.  Calipers, please.”
“It is not,” Sans insists as he hands over the compass, “Determination isn’t like anything else.  There’s no way to predict what it will do because we have no idea what it will do.”
“I don’t plan to offer up a definitive prediction, I plan to run the simulation on different variables, thereby showing the range of possibilities,” Gaster replies.  He handles the calipers with extreme precision to make sure his irritation with this old argument doesn’t bleed into his measurements.
“How are you going to cover all the possibilities?  You’ll have to take them all into account, which isn’t possible.”
“Gentlemen,” Gerald says.
“I plan to choose the most likely candidates and run tests on those, then compile the data and run it all together.”
“Do you have any idea how much work that’s going to be?  You’re going to be putting that much time into this hypothetical project when you could be spending it on, I don’t know¸ running actual tests to determine the properties of synethetic determination?”
“You know that it’s too volatile, Sans.  There’s no need to take risks like this.”
“Gentlemen,” Gerald interrupts firmly, setting Papyrus, age three and a half, on a clear spot on the workbench.
“What,” Gaster and Sans snap back.
Gerald sets a large children’s book on the table in front of Papyrus.  “Show them what you just showed me,” he encourages.
Papyrus squints at the letters.  “One…”  He says, pointing at the first word of the first sentence, “Day?  In the big g—r, reen woods, Fluffy Bunny wan, want…”
“Wanted,” Sans says quietly.  He’s drifts along the table so he can read over Papyrus’ shoulder.
“I can do it!”  Papyrus insists, pushing Sans hand away from the page.  “Wanted to p-play a.”  He frowns in concentration for a moment, then his face lights up.  “Game!  Wanted to play a game!”
“Good job, buddy,” Sans says, affectionately bumping his head against Papyrus’.  He meets Gaster’s eye and gives a lazy smile.
Gaster returns the smile.  The argument seems so small in comparison to Papyrus’ first successful reading.  He sets the calipers and notebook to the side to watch the boys sound out the words on the next page.
Gerald also watches.  He looks equally fond.  He’s an excellent arbitrator and, Gaster supposes, part of this family.
-
Despite the doomsday predictions levied by the computer-based departments, the year 2000 passes without any major technological breakdown.  The big change doesn't come until September, when Papyrus starts kindergarten.
“Got your lunch?”  Sans asks.
“Yes.”
“Books?”  Gaster asks.
“Yes,” Papyrus says, watching the other children file past the gate into the school.
“Card with all the phone numbers written down?”  Sans asks.  He once attempted a few days of school, but found that the noise and commotion made him nervous.  Combined with the fact that he can already teach most university-level science courses, Doctor Snowdrake had decided homeschooling would be the best for Sans.
Papyrus, on the other hand, has been looking forward to this day since he saw an after-school special on TV a year ago.  “Yes, I have everything I could possibly need,” he says, stomping his foot in impatience.  “Can I go now?”
“Alright,” Gaster says before Sans can ask more questions.  “Have a good first day, Papyrus, we'll be here to pick you up after class.”
Papyrus is already halfway across the parking lot.  “Okay, thank you, I love you, bye.”
“Watch the traffic,” Sans calls, “And make sure you're shoes are tied.  And—”
“Thank you I love you bye.”
Papyrus joins the crowd of five-year-olds being escorted into the building.  Gaster puts a sympathetic hand on Sans' shoulder.  “This is hard,” he says.
“I don't like it,” Sans agrees, watching as Papyrus disappears past the gate.
Gaster pats him on the back.  “Do you want to work help me organize the lab when we get back?”  He offers.
Sans doesn't answer.
“You promised Doctor Snowdrake you'd let him do this by himself,” Gaster reminds him.
“She doesn't have to know,” Sans says, glaring at the school entrance.
Gaster feels something soft unfold in his chest.  He smiles and gently pulls Sans away from the school.  “Come on, Papyrus will be fine and we have work to do.”
Sans reluctantly allows himself to be steered away.
-
“Hold still,” Sans says, carefully marking the door frame.
“I'm trying,” Papyrus grumbles.  It’s his eighth birthday, and they’re doing the annual Height Measurement ritual.  He vibrates impatiently as Sans, age fifteen, finishes.  “What's taking so long?”
“I gotta get this right, buddy.  Can't make any mistakes at tall.”
Papyrus groans dramatically.  “I can’t wait for you to finish this ridiculous pun phase.”
There are two sets of marks on the frame, one in red, the other in blue.  The blue marks start out higher, but the red marks have definitely begun to catch up.  Sans steps back to evaluate the data.
“It's official.”  He taps the most recent mark, which is a fraction of an inch higher up the wall than the corresponding blue one.  “You're taller than me.”
“Yes!”  Papayrus says, running in place with both hands in the air, “Finally I am the big brother!”
“You sure are,” Sans says, rubbing Papyrus' head, “Now you can carry me around.”
As the years go on, Gaster has to start marking Papyrus' height because Sans is too short.  The blue marks approach and finally stop just above four feet, while the red ones continue to shoot upwards towards six feet.  Papyrus does start to carry Sans around as their height difference increases.  By the time Papyrus reaches his teen years, Gaster has to stand on a step stool to get an accurate measurement.
-
Papyrus graduates from high school at age eighteen.  He wears a blue gown with gold trim (the Capital City East’s colors) and receives his degree from the king himself.  King Asgore shakes his hands as he hands him the papers.  Papyrus looks star struck.
His entire family is in the audience: Sans and Donahue, holding a sign between them that reads SKELE-BEST; Aubrey, who has started going by her father’s last name and is in the second year of her second master’s degree, has allowed Sans to sit on her shoulders for better height; Gerald, who is waving at least seven pennants in his dozens of hands; and Gaster, sixteen years older and the same physical age as always, waving two flags of his own and using his two backup hands to add to the applause.  Everyone is cheering.  Papyrus grins widely and holds up his diploma for them to see.
Donahue holds the sign with one hand and uses the other to whistle over the roar of the crowd.  She has years of battle scars across her arms, and rose to the position of Captain before retiring several years ago.  She elbows Gaster to get his attention.  “Hey.”
“Hello,” Gaster says.
She nods up at the stage, where Papyrus is finally going down the exit stairs.  “He made it.”
“He did,” Gaster agrees.
The takes their seats as the next students comes on stage and their family takes up the cheering.  “Couldn’t have done it without you,” Donahue says.
Gaster watches as Papyrus sits with the rest of his class in the G section.  He waving sheepishly at Sans, who is still making thumbs-up gestures his way.  “He could have,” Gaster says, “But I’m glad he didn’t have to.”
Doctor W.D. Gaster has two sons, ages eighteen and twenty-five.  He likes to say he found them in a bush, but in in truth, he knows they were the ones who found him.  Papyrus is planning to take some time to figure out what he wants to do.  Sans officially began his employment with the Royal Laboratory several years ago, and has recently been speaking with King Asgore himself about security of the human souls.
Life is different now, but better.  Gaster politely claps for the student on stage.
-
Two years later, the imposter escapes from jail.
And there we have it: the Baby Spinach arc, finished!  Thank you so much for reading everyone.  I’m going on a short hiatus to nail down details of the last arc and work on some personal projects (I’m in the Mad Max fic exchange, and there are some other idas that have been bouncing around that need to get out).  The last arc will begin on May 19th, roughly 7:30pm.  Thanks for reading!

Text
Yandere types
1. Sans ‘ The Judge ‘ - He is a very delusional yandere. He loves Antagonist with every fiber in his body and he wants everyone to know that she loves him too. He will stop at nothing to get her, because he loves her. His biggest goal is to get claimed. Something that is very clear for his yandere type is that he loves collecting clothing pieces from his lover. He also has a very lucid imagination, and if Antagonist doesn't clearly tell him something is wrong, he will talk himself into not minding it. Killing and kidnapping is something he's not above.  2. Papyrus ‘ The Liar ‘  - He's a delusional yandere. He is very narcissistic and loves himself, that's why gaining him as a yandere is very hard, as it would take a lot of make him even consider you as a possible lover. Of course, after that happens, he is very dangerous. He believes that his lover loves him because he is perfect for them. He's perfect for everyone. He doesn't like kidnapping, but if his lover won't stop trying to be hard to get, then he is not above doing that. He doesn't like killing, but he does know people who would kill for him.  3. Red ‘ The Sentry’  -   He's one of the most normal characters in the story. As long as he isn't driven to madness, people wouldn't notice that he is a yandere, but when he becomes, he is hardcore about it. He is affection and attention starved. To drive him insane, is pretty easy. Get him to be your friend and then stop giving him constant affection. He will go completely insane, willing to take you away as far as needed, just so you would be all of his. If he sees anyone getting more attention than him, as long as it's not his brother, he is willing to kill that person.
4. Boss ‘The Guard Captain’  -  He's one of those people who you do not know is a yandere until it's too late. He doesn't understand human feelings a lot, so it's hard for him to show his affection. For the lack of his affection, he gives with gifts and money. He is willing to do absolutely anything to make his lover happy, and will take everything they say as their wish. Of course, if driven him to absolute madness, he is not afraid to kill his lover so they would be his perfect little doll.
5. Lucky ‘ The Manipulator’  -  He is a very jealous person. So, it's not a surprise that he's a very jealous yandere too. He shows unhealthy expectations in friendships and relationships from the very beginning. For example, he wants to be the only important person and thing for his friend/lover. It's not a surprise that when he becomes a yandere, he doesn't want to share. He wants to be the only person that's important in his lover's life, and if killing everyone else is the key, he is willing to do that. He's the type of yandere who's willing to hurt his lover to teach them a lesson if they try to fight against him too much.
6. Stretch ‘ The Puppet ‘   -   There isn't much to say about him. He is a young guy who needs guidance, and had never been shown what normal love is like, nor how to treat his own feelings. He is the type of person who will go and hurt his lover, when his lover isn't willing to give him what he wants. As a yandere, he wants to monopolize his lover and well, it's the most basic type of yandere. Kidnapping is possible, but he doesn't have the money to have a place where to hide his lover, nor does he have an idea how to do it. The worse he can do is rape his lover and well, it's not good.
7. Razz ‘ The Lord ‘ -  He's the worship type of yandere. He wants to show that his lover is the best. The moment that he becomes a yandere, he drops the lover part, and completely goes insane with his part. He doesn't see his lover as a living being anymore, but as a god that needs to be worshipped. He's willing to do absolutely anything to protect his lover and he will collect everything that his lover leaves behind. How could he waste anything?
8. Mutt ‘ The Wild Dog’  - He's a simple yandere too. An obsessive yandere, but just because he is a simple yandere, don't put him off. He has his way around, and he knows how to make someone disappear without causing people to question stuff. We need to also remember that he has someone as Razz to back him up, and Razz works in the police force. Mutt is very obsessive. He wants to know everything about his lover, to have everything of his lover. He is not belong kidnapping his lover, not belong killing for his lover, not belong drugging and raping his lover for his own pleasure.
9. Blackberry ‘ The WannaBe Guard ‘ - He's an interesting character. He shows one side, but is actually different. He has one pursue and it's to start a family, to get a kid or two or a dozen and then drop his 'lover'. He shows a clingy side, but believe me when I say that that's not how he actually is. If you manage to get him to become a yandere, he will drop his act and his lover's life will become a living hell.
10. Patch ‘ The Loyal Pet ‘ - This yandere is similar to Blackberry. He doesn't show his interest in someone or shows too much interest, but the thing is, when you actually get him as a yandere, things start to get extremely bad then. He might seem normal, but people around you will start dying. He will always be there when you need him the most and he knows everything about you, even if you never told him anything. In the end, one day you will wake up locked in his basement, and that's when your true life starts.
11.  Hickory ‘ The Butcher ‘ - This is a stalker yandere. You might think 'oh, this is another simple yandere' and you would be completely wrong. He takes it too far, and let me explain why. He is a type of yandere that wants to watch his lover. He doesn't need to even be part of his lover's life, he needs to watch them. He gets pleasure for that, and he actually finds it a turn off getting affection from his lover. What he wants is his lover and his younger brother to get together so he could watch them from afar have their perfect life.
12. Tatters ‘ The Cannibal ‘ - He doesn't understand love, that's why he can mistake his feelings for friendship. He get's addicted to people easily, but only to one at a time. He starts needing that person and he gets angry when he doesn't get them. He is dangerous in the sense that he has the backing of Hickory to get anything done. Another thing is that he never hides anything away. It's good, as if he would kidnap his lover, he would accidentally tell it to everyone and have his lover rescued, unless Hickory gets involved. Because then, that would not happen.
13. Echo ‘ The PlayBoy’  - Oh heavens dearest. This is a nasty yandere. He loves to break down his lover completely. He doesn't feel anything for his lover usually and will leave them when he finishes with what he wanted to do with them. Of course, if his lover is smart enough, they will manage to turn the tables and make him the one addicted to his lover. That's when his true yandere side starts to show. A nasty, jealous side, in which he wants his lover to only belong to him and is willing to kill others to reach that goal of his.
14. Green ‘ The BookWorm’  - He is bad at relationships, that's why his yandere type is very dangerous too in a normal situation. He is a loneliness inducing yandere. Showing emotions for him is almost impossible, as he is not interested in romance. What he wants is someone he knows he owns. He will try to make everyone hate his lover and make it so that he would be the only person that his lover can come and be with. Of course, it's possible to turn it around and teach him how to love, but it will be a long time before that happens.
15. Solaris/Dusttale Sans ‘ The Murderer ‘ - He's a bizarre yandere. He doesn't care for the same things as the other yanderes. What he wants, what he needs is something a little bit more. He needs to have stuff that came from his lover's body. For example, hair, nails, old skin. It's small, but something he needs. He's also willing to kill his lover and keep their dead body near him so he would have access to everything more. His level of Lv completely blinds any sense of guilt for him, so anything goes with him.
16. Hound/Dustswapfell Papyrus 'The feeling addict' - He's a lonely yandere. He regrets what he has done to everyone he loves every single day and the pain his killing him. He wants to become better, but is afraid of even asking for forgiveness. He desires for affection and can get violent when he will not get it. Even if he is regretful for what he has done, he is not afraid to kill anyone else in his way of having all of his lover's attention. Even his lover themselves.
17. Dings/Underswap Gaster ‘ The RiverMan ‘ - A very manipulative man. Who do you think Lucky learned from? He is abusive, mostly emotionally, and is not afraid to make his lover go to a point of wanting to kill themselves just to save them and make them feel like he is their own ally. He is dangerous and he is willing to kill others. He has the complete control over his sons and can use them to get to his lover without much trouble.
18. Aster/Underfell Gaster ‘ The Failed Scientist ‘ - At the very beginning, he will act like a gentleman, but as he enters in a relationship, he will show his dark side. He is abusive, physically and he's not afraid to hurt his lover and children if they don't listen to him. He will kill people who get in his way and he will keep his lover until the day he completely can't handle them and kills them. Yes, the only way to get rid of him is by him killing you.
19. Gaster/Undertale Gaster ‘ The Forgotten Scientist ‘ - He is a cold yandere. He doesn't really have time for his lover, but he will show some signs of being a yandere. For example, showing extreme jealousy when there is no reason for it. Show his less than pleasant possessiveness and of course, when he would start talking about love, it would spiral into something insane. He wants to own his lover and if his lover is not willing to accept that, then he is willing to kill them.
20.Rust/horrorfell Gaster 'The man who speaks in screams ' - He is a sweet man, who has been through a lot. He wants just to have someone that he could call his own and someone who would be a good mother for his two children. He is partially blind, so it is hard for him. He's happy when he finds someone that is just perfect for him. He is a pathetic yandere. He is willing to cry and beg on his knees for his lover to love him and not leave and he's willing to dust himself if that will prove his love to his lover. That's the while reason why he is partially blind.
21. Spice/Underlust Sans ‘ The Lover ‘ - He is quite a fun type of person. He doesn't mind sharing his lover and jealousy is never something that you should worry about him. What you should worry about him is that he will take keepsakes with himself of his lover and he is not afraid to hurt people who he thinks are not good enough for his lover. He doesn't mind sharing, but he needs to approve of them before he even thinks of doing anything like that.
22. Sugar/Underlust Papyrus ‘ The Friend-With-Benefits ‘ - He is a little bit similar to how Spice is, but in a worse case scenario. He only wants to share with his brother and anyone else is not something he would even consider. Jealousy is a very huge thing with him if someone else besides his brother interacts with his lover. He can get violent if he doesn't get what he wants, but he will always apologizes and try to do his best to make his lover forgive him.
23.Cotton/Lustswapfell Sans 'The Authoritative slut' - He is a very serious person in general, but well, even serious people have needs. He is a very loving lover in secret and very strict in public. He will try to get his lover with his own charms, but if that will fail, he is willing to kidnap his lover. He is manipulative, so making his lover break and start loving him isn't a hard task for him. Just know that if he will reprogram his lover, he will reprogram them as he wants completely. And you do NOT want that.
24. Lavander/Lustfellswap Papyrus 'The Affection seeker' - As a yandere, compared to most, he is very tame. He is a mix of being a clingy and obsessive yandere. He wants to know everything about his lover, and he wants to always only have their attention. Jealousy with this yandere rises a lot, especially if his Lover hangs out with someone that he believes to be better than him. He becomes very jealous and in general, it's best to avoid that, as he's not afraid to kidnap his lover, or hurt people around his lover.
25. Delta/Asylumtale Sans ‘ The Maniac ‘ - He has three personalities and that makes him an unpredictable yandere. His normal, Sans personality makes him to be a very cold and distant yandere, but who wants to know that he owns his lover. His Delta personality, makes him a very love sick yandere, who NEEDS to be in the presence of his lover and is willing to kill to reach that level with his lover. His Papyrus personality is a violent yandere, who is willing to heavily hurt his lover to teach them a lesson on how to treat him.
26. Daisy/Asylumtale Alphys 'The therapist' - After losing her lover, Undyne, she became very distant from everyone. If she would ever find someone who would fit her preferred type, someone who could stand in the place Undyne did, she would get obsessed with the idea of changing the person to be a perfect replica of Undyne. Willing to do anything just to be able to get her Undyne back in her loving arms.
27. Eros/Altertale Sans 'The gentle giant' - The only thing he needs is a family and he's willing to do anything to get that. He can't have children on his own anymore, that's why he is obsessed with finding his own little wife with little kids. He will be a perfect parent! He will do absolutely anything to be a wonderful husband. And well, if he will find his perfect little family, he is willing to make sure that the husband/father is out of the picture. Besides, he would be a better parent either way.
28. Nebula/Alterswap Sans 'The benevolent ruler' - He is very lonely. He wants to know that someone loves him. That someone adores him. He needs that, so at the first sight of finding someone like that, he will warp his fingers tightly around them and not let them run away from him. What he needs, what he wants is a perfect little 'friend' and he is willing to do anything to gain his own affection giver who will never leave him. Just know that getting too comfortable with him is dangerous, as one day, that tea you two drink together will not be so safe anymore.
29. Teddy/Horrorfell Sans 'The dusting butcher' - His brother and father are very unstable. They need a lot of affection that's why he was the only one in the family who was taking care of everything. He was used to never get any affection, any attention. If he would receive any, he would be weirded out and confused, asking what the person wanted in exchange. It would take a long time, but after opening him up, you would never be able to run away. You opened his heart, his soul. Made place in his care, and you will not be able to escape now. Just relax and be happy, or he will have to make sure that you are as damaged as his family so no one else but him could love you.
30. Cranberry/Horrorswap Sans 'The backstabbing maniac' - What is there to say about him? A sly and cruel monster, who caused his own brother's death to save himself, that was who he is. That's why it wouldn't be a surprise that he would find himself a lover to play along with and seem normal. Of course, when he won't need them anymore, he will throw them out. But if you are unlucky enough to actually catch his attention... Let's just say that you will learn what true fear is.
31. Bell/Horrorfellswap Sans 'The incompetent little helper' - He is highly damaged. The trauma of a fight, and the horrible memory of seeing his younger brother die from starvation was too much, causing him to regress mentally to an age where everything was alright. He acts like a child, but there are times that he comes back to his adult age. Those are the times you need to be mostly careful. Because that's when he is the most hurt and willing to do anything to keep his special lover with him, after he had went through losing his younger brother. Just know, do not play with a broken soul.
32. Knight/Horrorswapfell Sans 'The Try hard protector' - He is trying so hard to protect the people that he cares about, and he is that type of yandere. A protector. He will do anything to protect his lover. Even take it too far. He will kidnap his lover and keep them far away from others at the slightest thought of them being in danger. It's not healthy, and it's dangerous and anything can trigger him, but he is trying his best. He really is.
33. Azure/Dancetale Sans 'The dancer' - He is one of those yanderes that you won't know he is a yandere until it's too late. You might actually think he hates you, when in reality, he is madly in love with you! He will push you, while not washing his hand after because it's the hand that touched you. He might yell at you, but never forget the time he was close to you. You will only realize he is in love when it's too late and you are already in his basement, ready to start your new life with him.
34. Puffy/Danceswap Sans ‘ The Happy-Go-Lucky Dancer ‘ - He's the type of yandere that won't realize he's a yandere! He will talk himself into thinking that what he is doing is completely alright. That he is just doing this to protect a special friend, or that if his friend understood his reasoning, that they would completely agree with him. He can talk himself into doing anything, from small things like buying a gift to his friend to kidnapping them and killing people for them. A liar who believes his own lies is a dangerous one.
35. Lyric/Danceswap Papyrus 'The jokester dance fanatic' - Another yandere that you might not realize he is a yandere, until it's too late. But different than Azure. Lyrics is the type to be friends with his lover before anything else. He will madly obsesses over his friend, but keep the friends act up. He will do everything just to please his friend, giving the possibility to use him in any way his lover would want to. He is the type of yandere who would do anything for his lover, without even thinking a second time about if that will hurt him or anyone around them.
36. Rottenberry/Horrorfell Papyrus ‘ The Mute ‘ -  Rotten is... hard to love. Not because of his personality! He's a real sweetheart, it's just... He is very high maintenance. He is highly disabled. His spine was broken, so he is unable to move and is stuck in a wheelchair. His lower jaw is missing, that's why he is unable to speak. The place where his scar is, he can't see and he barely hears. It doesn't take much for him to fall in love with anyone who is willing to love him. Because of how he is, he doesn't know how to truly love, so he can become extremely toxic. He is similar to how Hickory and Tatters are. Because of all of his disabilities, Teddy does everything for him, and is the only one who can hear him as Rotten speaks to Teddy through soul waves.
37. Midnight/Outertale Sans ‘ The Star Fanatic ‘ - Similar to Azure, it will be too late when you realize that he's a yandere. He is argumentative and loves always being right. He is willing to hurt people as long as he will get his way and is in general a bad lover. He is willing to hurt others who believe they can steal his lover and he will stalk his lover, even if to just prove a point in his argument.
38. Marrow/Outertale Papyrus ‘ The Earth Fanatic ‘ - He can be two different yandere types. If his lover is not a human, then he is much tamer. He is possessive and acts more like an adult. He is willing to talk with his lover, but he still is very jealous in general. Now, if his lover is a human is when his creepy side comes out. He loves humans to the point of it becoming the creepiest thing ever. He wants to know everything, absolutely everything about humans from how they reproduce to why their hair falls. His obsessiveness will make him stalk his lover, collected everything his lover leaves behind and of course, kill anyone who gets in the way of his research.
39. Comet/Outerswap Sans 'The Curious human fanatic' - He is not as bad as Marrow, but he isn't exactly the most normal either. Unlike Marrow, he is always similar to everyone. He loves humans, but he doesn't go as far as Marrow. He would rather ask questions than forcefully get answers out of them. That's why he is a favorite between people, but can seem very manipulative and clingy. Because he is. He become attached easily and when he doesn't get what he wants, he will try and manipulative his lover into doing what he wants.
40. Pluto/Outerfellswap Sans 'The strength fanatic' - He is the tamest out of Marrow and comet. He doesn't care for specific spiecies, but about a specific thing. He loves strength! Only way to make him obsessed is by being extremely strong or by teaching him something that he didn't know before. He will start craving more and more of his lover's affection, until it's not enough and he'll kidnap them so they will only be his own.
41. Glitch/Error! Sans 'The destroyer' - He honestly doesn't seem like a yandere. Maybe in a sense, he isn't. He tries to stray from the path of obsession, but sometimes, at times, he starts to think that maybe it's time for him to be selfish too! And when he finally convinces himself to become selfish and keep his lover all to himself, just know it's not going to be pretty. He is the destroyer not for nothing.
42. Palette/Ink! Sans 'The creator' - He doesn't have feelings. He can smile, he can fake them, but he doesn't actually feel anything. That's why he can't get obsessed, right? But what if, what if there is someone, someone out there who makes him feel? Who makes him actually feel. Not good emotions, but makes him feel jealousy, anger, envy and obsession? Well, let's just say that it's not going to be pretty weird. I've been saying that a lot, but that's specifically for him.
43. Night/Nightmare! Sans 'The bringer of nightmares' - He's a distant yandere. He hates getting involved with other people, but isn't against that if people try hard enough. When he becomes obsessed, he becomes needy. In general, he tries to seem like he is a very smug and confident person, but in reality, he has a deep fear for being inferior to his brother. If he would ever lose his lover to his brother, he would lose his mind, going on a killing spree that wouldn't be stopped in any way.
44. Starry/Dream! Sans 'The bringer of gentle dreams' - A yandere who believes that he is on a higher morale end than everyone else. He believes to be the best and rightest out of everyone and he doesn't listen to others, thinking that his way is the right way. It's very toxic towards other people but he has show signs of not caring. For his lover, he would be very loving and affectionate, while holding them hostage in his basement. The most loving out of all the yanderes who kidnap their lover actually!
45. Sansy/Fresh! Sans 'The parasite' - This is an interesting yandere. Because he is a parasite, he doesn't have feelings. He gains the feelings of the host body that he takes over. The current host body has deranged feelings for a specific woman. His yandere type is obsessive and murderous. He will stalk his lover and will kill people to get what he wants. But if he ever changed hosts, he would change his personality and yandere type too, as he doesn't have a specific one himself.
46. Toffee/Storyshift Chara ‘ The Guard ‘ - She's a cold yandere. She doesn't get attached to people easily and she likes to help people. Of course, if she does get attached she completely changes. It's a weird thing, one moment she seems cold and distant but a friend either way and the other she is looking at you in a love sick expression. That would be how she would change while being a yandere. It's weird to describe but she is the type that wouldn't exactly show it a lot.
47. Plum/storyshift Asriel ‘ The Captain’s Son ‘ - He is a very responsable boy. He wants the best for people and will work towards that goal. Of course, if he would fall in love and completely lose his mind in love, he would become completely love sick and protective. Trying to please his lover in any way possible while keeping them locked away for their own good. He is also very jealous, so he would talk himself in taking his lover away if he is put under extreme jealousy.
48. Cherry/Shiftfell Chara ‘ The Pet ‘ - A soft spoken human who hates any sort of confrontation. Barely talks and when she does, her voice comes out soft and quiet. She gets attached to people very easily and finds comfort in sexual activities, thinking that if she engages in them soon, she will be loved more. She wants affection, both emotional and physical. She's the type of yandere who will hurt herself to make her lover do whatever she wants.
49. Majesty/Shiftfellswap Chara ‘ The Captain Of Pride ‘ - A prideful woman who believes she is the gift of god for every sinner. She wants to be worshipped and will get really angry if her lover will not do what she wants them to do. She is very violent when angered and is willing to start getting physical if she doesn't get what she wants for long time. She is the type of yandere who makes her lover completely hate themselves and believe that they should be thankful she is dating a vermin like them.
50. Brash/Storyswapfell Asriel 'The absent minded sentry' - A air headed individual who usually is deep in his thoughts. He loves joking around and flirting jokingly, but is a lot more serious inside. After the lost of his older sister, he had been very cold towards anyone who take a dominant approach in life. Only way for him to get obsessed with someone who is dominant would be if that person would take an interesting approach in dominance and actually remind him of his older sister. Then, he would start obsessing over keeping that person near him, as he doesn't want to love his 'older sister' a second time.
51. Skyblue/Storyshift Sans ‘ The King ‘ - A calm skeleton who loves to talk to people. His yandere type is manipulation. His calm demeanor will make people believe that he is always right and that you need to follow him and do what he says. He makes you trust him, and makes you believe him. It's best to not spend a lot of time around him, as he becomes like this even if he has no romantic feelings towards someone. He is just a naturally manipulative person.
52. Bloodbath/Shiftfell Papyrus ‘ The Catacombs Caretaker ‘ - He is a very violent and uncontrollable character. He wants things to get done now and immediately and will get angry if that doesn't happen. He is very controlling and wishes to have everything under his control. If his lover or anyone in his life dares to disobey him, he is not afraid to start treating them like a child, meaning he can go as far as kidnap his lover if he thinks they are being bratish with him.
53. Riffle/Mafiatale Sans ‘ The Mobster ‘ - He is a mobster. A sweet man but he can get violent too. He is possessive and wants everyone to know that he owns his lover. Meaning, he is not above going and marking his lover physically so people would know that they belong to him. He is obsessed with guns, so he will use guns to scare both his lover and kill people who get in his way. It's a nasty business with him, but it's a nasty business with every mafia guy.
54. Rose/Mafiatale Papyrus ‘The Right Hand ‘ - A love sick puppy, that is who he is. He will do absolutely anything to make his lover happy! He is delusional, but not to a point that he doesn't understand when his lover doesn't love him anymore. He just refuses to actually care about that and take it in any other way than them being shy or not ready to take that step into becoming more. His lover can kick him, beat him, insult him and throw him out but he will keep coming back until he is nothing but a pile of dust because of his lover. If his lover would ever die, he would kill himself so even in the after life he could be together with them.
55. Riggs/Mafiafell Sans 'The failing underling' - A flirty guy who's just trying his best to keep up with expectations but failing miserably. Most of the times, you might think that he is joking about some stuff that he does when he's in love. For example, saying that he would love to kill everyone who even looks at his lover. Well, let's just say he is not kidding. He's the type of yandere that will go through with his promises, even if he gave them drunkenly, forcefully or as a joke.
56. Whip/Mafiafell Papyrus ‘ The Boss ‘ - Whip is very serious about his job. That's why making him fall in love is hard. Especially if you are a human. But if you are persistent enough, he will open up his heart to you. The thing is, you do not want that. He will start spoiling you, loving you and then, slowly trying to ruin you, so he would be the only person you can depend on. He is in the mafia and he's capable of doing that. So, do not make him open his heart up, or you mind lose everyone expect him.
57. Slate/Mafiaswap Sans ‘ The Two-Faced ‘ - He's horrible. Both with his personality and with his lover. It's a mystery how anyone could ever handle him. He is an asshole with a god complex. It's pretty easy to figure out what that means. You know how Razz worships someone who he considers to be like a god figure? Well, Slate is the person who will make others worship him like a god. And well, as a god, he has his favorite little follower. Of course, if he see someone else taking their time away, as the god, he will kill anyone who gets in the way of his favorite little follower worshipping the group he walks on.
58. Slim/Mafiaswap Papyrus 'The blind follower' - He isn't someone who easily shows emotions. That's why it would take quite a while for him to even realize that he is in love with someone. When he does, he would still be cold towards them, but in private, on rare days, he would show his less than cold side. Show his loving and obsessive side. Show his side in which he would hold his lover in place for hours, not letting them move, not let them do anything but feel them in his arms, so he would know that they are his and that they are not running away. Well, not with that chain around their neck.
59. Rus/Mafiaswapfell Papyrus ‘The Jack-Of-All-Trades ‘ - He is very talented, but very lazy. He's the type of person that he would try, he might achieve a lot, but he doesn't. That's why he doesn't pursue his lover. He might kidnap them, but if his lover ever escapes, he will let them run away. Why? Because he knows where they are all the time either way. He has connections everywhere, and she wouldn't travel anywhere without him knowing. One day he'll get less lazy and he'll make sure that she crawls back to him, but until then, he'll let them start a new life and make their see it crumble before their own eyes.
60. Mal/Mafiafellswap Sans ‘ The Malevolent Boss ‘ - He wants a wonderful romance. He wants to give in, but he can't! He has so much work to do so of course he couldn't just open up to his lover. He couldn't let them even realize how much he loves them... of course, he would allow them to love him and of course, he would be more than happy to keep anything of theirs just as a keepsake while he can't have them just yet..
61. Syrup/Mafiafellswap Gaster ‘The Spy ‘ - He can be anything they wants! Absolutely *anything* they want! His whole life is based on the fact that he can act however he wants to trick people. And he will do the same to get his lover! If his lover wants a sweet and loving lover, he'll be like that! If they want a rough and dominating lover, he's going to be that! If they want a submissive and quiet lover, well, he isn't good at being quiet, but he can try! Just remember, *never* push him away. He is the only one who actually loves you so do not push him away, Or you might just regret it in the long run.
62. Chompers/Mafiahorror Gaster ‘The deceased Don’ - Quiet, cold and distant, these were the words to describe him. He was a yandere that wouldn't realize he is a yandere. He would be surprised when he first would start having feelings for his lover. They would overwhelm him in a way that he would do absolutely anything that he would think about. For example, think that killing their friends would make them closer? He'll do it. Think kidnapping them was a good idea? He'll do it.
63. Ardor/Slavetale Sans 'The catalyst' - He hates humans. He hates humans with a burning desire. So why would he ever fall in love with one? But well, what could he do if this specific master of his wouldn't leave him alone! Every single time he would push them, hurt them, treat them horrible, they would treat him like he was actually worth something and not just a slave to play with. Well, then it means they love him, right? That means it's not too much for him to want them all to himself, right? And to be as violent as needed to get that, right?
64. Roxxy/Slavefell Sans  'The lovable pervert' - More? Oh, he wants more! More of what? More of everything! Nothing is enough for him. He wants more, he needs more and if he doesn't get it, he will get honestly angry. He will devour his master from the top to bottom, suck them dry of everything that they have! He'll get all of their love and affection and leave nothing, absolutely nothing to anyone else, because he deserves it the most!
65. Rogue/Slavefell Papyrus  'The reluctant slave' - He doesn't like being a slave, that's why he won't like having  a master. But. If a master that would spoil him, love him and adore him appear, he will become pudding for them. He will become the best thing they ever wanted. He'll be everything they ever wanted. They just need to make sure to keep him and only him by their side. He wants to be spoiled and drowned in their affection and he's willing to kill others to prove that.
66. Ditzy/Slaveswap Sans  'The savant slave' - He will be anything his master wants. He will do everything his master will want him to do. And he wouldn't need anything in return. But if his master would start showing affection. Start trying to teach him how to be less robotic and be a living being again, he will start showing his less than pleasant traits. He will show possessiveness, his jealousy and mostly, his violent outbursts. His master was teaching HIM how to be a living being, not them! So, his master only needed HIM!
67. Viper/Slaveswap Papyrus 'The skeptical slave' - He doesn't trust anyone. He doesn't trust his master. Gaining him as a lover or someone who would trust him is something that's almost impossible. He would always think that what his master does is to get something bad back, so he doesn't trust them. Of course, if his master would try hard enough, it's possible to work around him and his fears of being used, but if that would ever happen, it would open a new window of fucked up, worse than imaginable.
68. Wisteria/Slaveswapfell Sans 'The perfectionist' - This yandere wants everything to go by his made rules. Even if he is a slave, he is someone that will not give up and let someone break his rules. He wants his master to follow his rules and if he finds out that his master did not, he will not be happy. He isn't strong, but he knows how to hurt people as he collects information about them and can use it to hurt others.
69. Pup/Slaveswapfell Papyrus 'The perfect puppy' - Everything you ever want, every single kink, every single fantasy you can try out on him. He will never fight back. Or show any excitement. Or show anything actually. He doesn't care, as he is completely blank. Showing affection will not make him become different either. To cause a yandere reaction out of him, you need to go the other way around. To treat him horribly, to break him even further, to make him feel.
70. Azalea/Slavefellswap Sans 'The housekeeper' - He's perfect. He became perfect. There isn't much to say to him. People get bored of him so fast because of how perfect he actually is. Or well, is he really all that perfect? Is he really all that good? So why people trust him so much? Why do they look at him and let him do so much? Because he knows how to get on the good side of his masters. Just remember, don't actually make him feel. Or he might just never let go of his favorite master.
71. Foxglove/Slavefellswap Papyrus 'The perfect lover' - Loving but distant, that was what Foxglove is to people who he doesn't have feelings to. You would think that as a yandere, his feelings become stronger, and in a sense, maybe you are right, but they become stronger in the wrong way. He becomes more violent, more demanding and he will never let anyone even look at his master without showing what happens when someone tries to steal his master.
72. Mortis/SlaveDust Sans 'The loose canon' - He's insane. Both in love and normally. At the first taste of affection, he is addicted. He needs more, he craves it more! His master gave him affection after a specific thing, right? He would start doing everything for his master, as long as he would get a little affection. From a pat on the skull, to a hug to even something more physical. He is obsessed, addicted with affection that his master introduced him to and he will do anything to gain it. Even a little extra here and there that could be seen as bad, but hey, his master can't always know what's right and not, right?
73. Cassiopeia/SlaveOuter Sans 'The perfect prey' - From the moment that he got into slavery, he was abused over and over. He wanted to live a simple life again, and that would be enough to get him obsessed with someone. The aspect of being able to live a normal life with someone. If someone would treat him like a living being, he would start creating a small scenario in his mind. With how delusional he is, it wouldn't take long for him to think that they are just a married couple and he was a stay at home husband.
74. Jaws/Slavehorror Sans 'The starving slave' - He is traumatized, so letting someone near him is hard for him. He is scared of being hurt again, but he is willing to try after some time. All you need is to keep feeding him and talking to him. That's it, and he's hooked. He's hooked like a puppy, hooked like he had never been before. Just be ready for him to break out. He is a big and strong guy, and he can kill anyone if he wants. That's not a threat, unless you make it a threat.
75. Sam/Overtale Sans 'The Boy-Next-Door' - Oh, absolutely nice guy! Completely funny, wonderful! Perfect even!... Too perfect. Isn't he... too perfect? The more you would spend time with him, the more you would realize that he has no flaws. That no one has anything to say about him. That's not normal, right? So what's the problem? The problem is that he's manipulative and frightening. Anyone are too afraid to warn you about him and how dangerous he is... Just know that the moment you start realizing something is wrong, it's already too late. No one will help you anymore. He made sure of that.
76. Audrey/Overtale Papyrus 'The eccentric mascot' - Okay, so he is eccentric! Nothing wrong with a guy who enjoys feminine clothes and taking care of himself. What is wrong though is the way he obseses over making sure that the two of you always match. That everyone around you know that you two are together. It's normal and he is taking up too much of your life. You need some alone time too, and he needs to understand that. If he can't then maybe it's time to break up. Or well, try to at least. Let's say that he knows his way around kidnapping people who aren't willing to play along into his fantasy.
77. Frank/Overfell Sans 'The flirty mechanic' - He's a good guy! Flirty, but a good guy. Dating him would be wonderful. Until it isn't anymore. clingy, needy and jealous are the three words that describe him perfectly. He even has a weird nickname for you! 'my wife/husband' when you two aren't even close to getting married. You've barely dated for a few weeks!... Every single time you would try to break up, he would begin begging you to not do it, fall on his knees and cry as loudly as needed, making as big of a scene as needed. Let's just say, if you keep breaking his heart so much, he might just assume your friends and family are corrupting you.
78. Tommy/Overswap Sans 'The friendly donut shop owner' - The guy has a good heart, he just doesn't know how to show it! He always seem to rant, but he is good. Sure, he is flirty and shows too much attention to women, children and old people, but he has kind intentions! So stop trying to break up with him! So what if he just ruined your friendship, so what if he spread lies about you at your work and got you fired! You do not need anyone else but him, so this just makes it even better! Now you can finally accept to move in with him!
79. Pierre/Overswapfell Sans 'The justice obsessed policeman' - Actually a good guy, right? He works so much to stop criminals from doing bad, so he would never do anything criminal himself, right? Well, maybe he managed to see too many criminals work and got some tuff from the himself. For example, he learned quite a lot of stalking techniques from the stalkers he had arrested... Not that he's using it for bad!.. Just to make sure that his lover is fine. Not for any other bad reason...
80. Russel/Overswapfell Papyrus 'The child-loving kindergarden teacher' - A guy who's so sweet with kids can't be bad, right? That's what everyone things. But he's annoying, naggy and jealous. He's worse than people would think he is! Completely different from the person he presents near parents and the children! Well, I guess he did get too spoiled because of his brother being a cop and being able to push his crimes under the rug... It's not a threat, unless you take it as a threat.
81. Theodore/Overfellswap Sans 'The temperamental nurse' - Angry but caring. That was Theodore. It was hard to get along with him, but if you could look besides his horrible personality and lack of empathy for everyone who are not his patients, he's a good guy..! Of course, breaking up is fine, but be careful with what you drink or eat. Just know that he knows his way around poisons and drugs. Again, it's not a threat until you take it as a threat.
82. Tobias/Overfellswap Papyrus 'The helpless romantic' - Broke, good hearted and romantic. Not the perfect combination, but good one nonetheless! But he gets so childish and so needy! The first month, it's sweet, but later on..? It gets boring and repetitive. But you can't leave him! He loves you! Only he loves a piece of shit like you! Only he can deal with someone so lazy, so disgusting, so stop trying to break up and just settle down with him already!
83. Flynn/Overhorror Sans 'The veteran' - He is cold, but loving. He has a lot of fears and problems, but he isn't as bad as many people would like to believe. He looks scary, but he is a good guy. He really is. Sure, he gets violent at times. He can yell and he knows his way around killing people if you hang out around someone more than him, but it's all because he loves you and will not let someone just come and take something he owned first.
84. Angelo/OverLust Sans 'The insane cat gentleman' - Sarcastic and sassy, he was. Funny and always had a remark ready. That's why he was a wonderful friend! but a lover? He was far from perfect. He was needy and he couldn't settle down to just being second best. He needed to be the best for his lover, while his lover would never come close to being the best for him. Of course, what can he do. Kidnap his lover? Stalk his lover? Bah, he already did that all of that! What else?
85. Whitley/OverLust Papryus 'The damsel in distress' - Whitley is a normal guy. Works, goes to school and in general tries his best to live a normal life. Of course, when he will fall in love, he will want to become the most important person for his lover and what better way to do that than to end up as someone who would end up in dangerous situations, just to be saved by his lover? It's not safe, and he could get hurt, he knows, but he would rather die knowing that his lover is going to try saving him than live a boring life.
86. Daniel/OverOuter Sans 'The passionate astronomer' - Some would say that his passion is already his obsession. And well, that just shows that he has the habit of getting obsessed. It's not good, and it's clear that it wouldn't take much to get him obsessed with his lover. One small compliment, small interest in what he likes, and friendly banter would get his heart skipping like mad when around his lover. He is one of the less dangerous yandere, more of a puppy in love than anything, but he can get obsessive, stalkerish and murdery is needed.
87. Tony/OverMafia Sans 'The typical dark backstory ex-mafiose' - Cold, and mysterious he seems. After his lover died, he decided to not let anyone else close to him. The only reason that he would allow anyone close to him is if they would remind him of his dead lover. It would start off normal, but slowly, end up with him trying to make this new lover of his a replica of his old one. And at the first sign of his lover not wanting that to happen, he would get violent. If they don't want to this willingly, he will just have to kidnap them and teach them what it means to be his lover.
88. Willow/OverMafia Papyrus 'The friendly rival' - Friendly but mysterious. Those were the words people used to describe. He loves friendly banter and is the type that will become a rival with someone to help them grow as a person. Showing him affection and love won't really do much. If you want to really get him, you should do something more... drastic. For example, join him in becoming rivals with someone. Force yourself into his life and slowly make him forget what life without you was. You will know that he's becoming a yandere when he will start agreeing with everything you say, without even asking for details. You hate someone? He hates them too! You want someone died? Don't worry, they already are! You want a new clothing piece? Here you go!
89. Grillby/Undertale Grillby ‘The Bartender ‘ - He is quiet but easily flustered. He never talks so when he finds someone who is willing to keep conversing with him, it makes him fall in love soon. He has a little bit of delusion in him, that's why he will start believing that because of that, his friend is interested in him romantically. If his friend is also an empoyee at his bar, he will start showing more attention to them, relieve them of a lot of work but pay twice as much. Of course, slowly, he would start wanting for more than attention. He isn't that dangerous as a yandere, as long as you give him what he wants. After you start to ignore him or show someone else more interest, he is not afraid to use all the powers he has to make the other person's life a living hell.
90. Firefly/Underfell Grillby ‘ The Cold Flirt ‘ - Hates any confrontasions and people who can't pay. He sees those types of people as lower, so he would never accept his lover to be poor or on the same level as him. He wants to be spoiled and have as much money as possible, so, it's not a surprise that he would want a rich lover. After that, he would do absolutely everything his lover wants, for the right price. He is jealous but usually shows it through angry remarks and his flames becoming actually painful and not just warm to the touch.
91. Sunny/Fellswap Grillby ‘ The Poisonous Bakery Owner ‘ - Eccentric but friendly, that's who Sunny was. People never could get to understand how Sunny really is. As a yandere, he will become very manipulative. He does this for a living! of course he knows how to manipulate someone. A sweet word here, a sweet word there and his lover would be a pudding in his arms. Of course, that doesn't always work, so killing someone that they care about would make them become close again, yes? He would always be there when they needed support, that's for sure!
92. Cerulean/Lustfell Grillby 'The flirty bartender' - He's a flirty bartender, who loves befriending others and making them feel comfortable. Of course, it's something that he has been doing for a long time, so it's not a surprise he knows how to make someone relax. As a yandere, he loves keeping stuff of his lover and he is not against drugging his lover to make them more willing to do what he wants them to do.
93. Grim/Horrorswap Grillby 'The starving sunshine' - After escaping from the underground, he is obsessed with getting food, like most of the other horrors, so it's not surprising. He can come off as cold and shy, because he is not used to interacting with people without having to be afraid of getting killed for food. He hates when people touch him and will make his flames painful if anyone even tries. As a yandere, he is very possessive, but still hates touches. He will hurt others when he thinks they are trying to steal his lover.
94. Peachy/Underswap Grillby 'The bubbling bakery owner' - His passion is making sweets and he will make all the sweets to make others smile! The moment that he starts to fall in love, he will start putting parts of him in the baked goods. From his magic to even his own dust if he gets obsessed enough. He just wants to be with his lover all the time and what better way to do that than to be inside of them!
95. Marshall/Overfell Grillby 'The divorcee parent' - Marshall doesn't care a lot about other people. He only wants to raise his daughter. Of course, the way to make him obsessed is to start getting along with his daughter. It can be from a daughter's friend to a elder person who helped his daughter. He just wants to find someone that would be a good mother for his daughter and he would do absolutely anything to keep his new little family together.
96. Elliot/Overswapfell Grillby 'The quiet librarian' - All he cares about is finish his work. As a yandere, he wants to make sure that his lover his following the rules. Stalking and kidnapping is a must for this yandere. He does stuff like that a lot, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he would end up hurting people around his lover.
97. Fletcher/Overfellswap Grillby 'The good samaritan' - He's a simple guy trying to survive in a hard world while doing good! Of course, as a yandere, he would barely be able to get his lover's attention. He would slowly start having people around his lover, but he couldn't help himself! Why can't he get the attention of his lover but others can? They don't deserve it, but he does! So he would of course want to kill others because of that.
98. Frankie/Overlust Grillby 'The hardworking bartender' - He is a quiet man, as he is a quiet lover. He has a goal and he will work towards it. As a yandere, he will do everything for his lover. He will start off as quietly following his lover around, before showing himself and doing anything they ask of him. If he will always there be, stalking his lover, at least he will be useful for them.
99. Pepper/Underswap Muffet ‘ The Silent Bartender ‘ -  She hates humans. It's not a secret. She doesn't see them as anything special, and just wants to make sure that they get what they deserve. If her lover would become a human, she would be confused. She would still hate humans, but she wouldn't hate her lover. She would make them into something else in her mind. Maybe a god, maybe a monster, maybe something else, but she would become delusional. And well, that's not the best thing ever.
100. Tania/Lustswap Toriel 'The ambitious caretaker' - She is a serious woman, even if she is very sexual too. As a yandere, she wants her lover to treat her special. Differently than anyone else and when she doesn't get that, she will be forced to kill everyone else who get special treatment from her lover.
101. Tori/Undertale Toriel 'The nursing mother-like one' - She is a very parental person. She believes that her way is the right way. That's why, when she finds a lover, she will want them to move in with her as fast as possible, and to drop every job and everything her lover has. She will reprogram them the way she wants, so do not worry about thinking about anything, as she will do the stuff that will make her lover feel better and have an easier life. No worries.
102. Ursa/Outertale Toriel 'The Patient motherly friend' - She's similar to Tori, but unlike the older woman, Ursa is much more patient. She is willing to not change her lover to fit her, but to change herself to fit her lover. Tori would want to make her lover move in with her, while Ursa would want to move in with her lover. She would want to quit her job and depend on her lover, to make her seem like her lover can't live without her anymore, as she did everything around the house. She wants her lover to become dependent on her.
103. Lottie/Overtale Toriel 'The grieving widow' - The moment that she would fall in love, she would start getting jealous of everyone around her lover. She had lost so many people. She lost her husband, she lost her children, she lost everyone. She wasn't going to allow anyone else to take anything else from her and if she needed to lose something, it will be because of her own two hands.
104. Marigold/Underswap Asgore 'The Parental friend' - He would probably fall in love with someone heavily younger than him, that's why he wouldn't even think of pursuing anything romantic with them, but he would want to find someone who would be like the person he likes. He will make someone else a perfect rip off of his lover. But if the person that he likes shows a sign of liking him or being friendly with him.. he might not be able to hold back.
105. Tenor/Underlust Asgore 'The sexual caretaker' -  He is friendly, and loves to share. He doesn't mind sharing his lover if his lover wants that. He doesn't mind being in a poly relationship, but the thing is, he needs to be the first one they love and if they don't give him the affection that he deserves and requires, he will slowly start killing off everyone else in the relationship. If they are getting in the way, he'll just make them disappear. No problem.
106. Trigger/ Horrortale Undyne ' The Fallen Queen ' - She is a possessive lover. She doesn't believe in death, she doesn't believe in there being no after life. So be careful. If you anger her, she will kill you so you together would be together forever even in the after life if you aren't how she wants! While with her, it's a forever kind of love, and she wouldn't allow her lover just to escape with death. Not anymore.

Mercy Detached from Justice Grows Unmerciful, Pt.1
Tumblr media
He remembered every single moment, every tiny little second of his last minute on Earth. He’d been smoking on the rather flimsy guardrail that overlooked the CORE, one of his greatest works. The smoke from his cigarette had drifted lazily up from his cigarette as the deep, sultry, intense heat of the magma that sizzled and popped below provided a kind of eternal white nose. He was lost in a haze of memory, heat and above all...regret. He kept seeing Alphys’s concerned face, feeling his dinosaur-esque friend’s gentle touch on his shoulder. He kept seeing dear Asgore clutching that vial with the human soul inside it, pain etched into every line on his goat-like features. He kept seeing Subject 2-P, hearing his voice, a voice that had been so much like his own when HE was younger, insisting that deep down, he, Dr. W.D Gaster, was a good person.
And he remembered most of all that Subject 1-S had rushed forward across the catwalk over the CORE, launching himself at him, trying to take them both down, down into the abyssal heat below. He remembered Subject 2-P trying to rush forward, his tiny hands reaching out, and the glow of his eyes as he tried to spark up his blue magic, and in that moment...in that instant, Gaster had known he would fail. As willing as 2-P was to try and save him, even after all the cruelties he had inflicted...though the spirit was willing, the flesh was weak.
His body had had a knee-jerk reaction to the use of the blue magic, a magic Gaster had forced him to try and use for monstrous things. And he’d flinched.
And failed.
And HE had fallen down...down...down…
And with that, his very existence ended, the faint scream of Alphys still lingering in his mind as she howled out in horror and denial and rage, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?”
And then…
He was cool, and on something amazingly soft and comfy. He wanted to just lie there forever, but the soft, tender strains of music that rang through the air made him rise up, and he stared, mouth slowly going agape at the scene of pure and absolute beauty that he knew would have no equal on Earth.
For now the skeletal monster in the dark, slightly slumpy jacket now stood before large, golden, pearly gates on a plain of fluffy white clouds, as an expanse of a thousand stars in a beautiful starlight sky flickered high above him. Gaster stared at his fantastical surroundings, his black eye sockets wide, the little white pupils gleaming in the dark recesses, gazing intently at what laid before him, nervously adjusting the light grey sweater he had on underneath the dark jacket he now had. At least THAT was still there. Didn’t know what he’d do without that.
Yet before his eyes was not only beauty that would have made him weep had he had enough time to just sit there and take it all in, but a sight that made him inwardly shudder in a mixture of fear, and anger and disgust. For a distinctly HUMAN figure was now behind an ivy podium before those pearly gates, a white-bearded man wore an equally white robe, speaking to a green-and-gold-clothed angel that had deeply piercing green eyes, almost unnaturally green, with the iris being made up not exactly of simple color, but...repeating letters. Letters that circled around the pupil again and again, with a distinct green tinge and spelling out what appeared to be something in Latin. That same lettering appeared to make up the belt that held up the robe that the human behind the podium wore, but it was easier for Gaster to make out. He WAS experienced in ancient languages.
“Parce Sepulto”? Forgive the Dead?” Gaster inquired, reaching up to adjust his glasses before realizing with a jolt that they were gone. His eyesight was perfect. He’d normally NEVER be able to read such tiny lettering. In fact, now that he read the Angel’s eyes, he could read the lettering there as well. “Fiat Justitia Ruat Caelum”, eh? Let justice be done, though the Heavens falls? Am I to be judged then by your ilk?” “This is not “Atlas Shrugged”, Dr. Gaster.” said the bearded man behind the podium as he locked his hands together and gave the skeletal monster a little smile, cracks now running up from the right socket of Gaster’s head, and down from the left one, making the former Chief Scientist of the Monster Kingdom appear a bit like a broken egg. “Your refusal to accept the legitimacy of this court means nothing. For if you won’t enter in a plea, the court will simply enter it for you. No playing “Henry Rearden”. You must be held accountable for the sake of the public good.” “I did what I thought was right for Monsterkind!” Gaster snapped back.
And then something...odd happened. Gaster felt the words he’d spoken slightly reverberate through the air, sounding echoey and booming, clapping about through the endless skies as he stood, stock still, astounded. “What was-?”
“How often are half-truths spoken when we believe ourselves to be honest?” said the Angel as it approached Gaster, and led him towards the gates, shaking his brown-haired head, his skin the color of perfect peach marble. “You can’t tell a lie up here in Heaven, Gaster. Everyone knows, for a lie is clearly rung out, made obvious and easy to see. It rings through the air like a clanging of a great bell. Even partial truths are obviously uncovered.”
Gaster frowned darkly at this all-too-human face. “What is that supposed to mean?!” “You know you didn’t do what was right, and you know it wasn’t just for Monsterkind.” The angel said softly. “I am sure, in part, you believe that. You believe you did it for your people. But you did it for Asgore especially, to relieve him of his burden. You did it to see the sun again, to feel grass beneath your feet. You did it for science, for knowledge, to see if it could be done. And you did it for vengeance against the ones who sealed you away.”
“It wasn’t revenge, it was JUSTICE!” Gaster yelled angrily, and he felt bitter, furious tears spring to his eyes. “Humans took my family from me, you can’t possibly understand-”
“Monsters took me from my family, but I don’t hate all of them.” A voice rang out.
And Gaster stopped, blinking in surprise, and he suddenly shuddered as he realized who was staring at him. She had on a purple dress shirt and a faintly dark pair of khaki pants, with purple and white sneakers, and distinctly teal, soft eyes behind somewhat cloudy cloudy glasses. Her brown hair was a complete frizzy, slightly spiky mess, flopping all over her head and cheeks, her glasses thick and brown, her nose slightly sharp and her eyebrows rather thick as she sighed and held up a steel-binded notepad. Getting out a pen from the pocket on the front of her shirt, she began writing.
“What is this.” Gaster said, his mouth agape as he stared at her. “I know who she is, she’s the girl who’s Soul was Perseverance, I recognize her from the camera feeds. She spent an inordinate amount of time with Gerson.” He remarked, his eyes beginning to narrow. He had observed several of the humans who'd made their way through the Underground, what had made him remember this one in particular was she had spent days with "The Hammer of Justice", the old Turtle monster, Gerson. It had been very unusual, to say the least. He didn't understand why this human wasn't trying to kill a relatively weak and old monster who was no longer the fabled warrior he used to be. Instead, she had spent whole hours just listening to him talk about the old Monster Kingdom and the war, letting Gerson go on and on about how life had been for monsters before everything went to Hell. He had, of course, come the conclusion she was looking for monster weaknesses. After all, the more you knew about your enemy, the easier it was to defeat them. Yet oddly, she had just stayed hidden or had run from all the other monsters she could, finally dying at Asgore's hands about a week later. It just made no sense. Humans didn't act this way. “What is she doing here?” The skeletal scientist intoned angrily. “Did you expect me to go to Hell? I didn’t kill any monsters.” said the girl, her tone having a very slight shaky undertone, as if she was having to give a report in front of the class and she was not looking forward to it at all. “I would think you’d ask why you’re here after all you did.”
Gaster felt a renewed burst of fury rise in him. “You’re judging me?” He asked her angrily.
“You’re a scientist, doctor. Look at it from the scientific method. You know torture is wrong. You know killing is wrong. You know people who do wrong things go to the OTHER place. So ask yourself this: if I have done what I knew to be wrong, even if for good reasons, why am I here, and not there?” said the girl as she scribbled more upon her notepad. “Don’t tell me you never believed in any of this. I imagine any atheists or agnostics among you died out the minute you discovered Souls.”
Gaster flinched. This girl, despite the slightly shaky undertone, had eyes that were becoming as steely as the notebook she wrote in. “What do you want from me?” “Your cooperation in preparing your defense. My name is Christa Solomon Lewis, and I’m going to save your Soul, Dr. Gaster. I’m your lawyer, and we need to get you ready for the trial of your life.” Christa informed the skeletal monster, putting the notebook away as he stared, gobsmacked at this young human. “You’re going to be put in front of a jury of your peers and judged for the sins you committed, Dr. Wing Ding Aster, and I was asked to represent you.”
She smiled a bit. “I expect HE thought it’d feel just like old times.” She added in a strangely wistful, sad tone that seemed, for a moment, to make her sound so much older than she truly was. A moment later, she gestured for Gaster to follow her as he stood there, staring in shock, glancing back to the angel who gave him a simple nod, then left, Gaster following after her along a golden pathway that led past beautifully pristine, ivory buildings. Towering Ionic and Doric pillars held up lofty openings to immense facilities, as that same beautiful, lilting music filled the air, and a large fountain nearby sprayed what was unmistakably wine up into a large pool around it. People sat at the edge, holding crystal goblets, taking lovely sips from the wine as Christa approached what was distinctly a library, for on either side of the double doorway leading in were a lamb atop a lion, both reading books.
“The Library of Alexandria has nothing on this place, I assure you.” Christa remarked to Dr. Gaster, who just found himself wishing he looked a bit more...dignified. “And that’s a good thing, we’ll need every single book on law and legal defenses we can get.” Gaster stayed silent. He couldn’t believe that a human child, one of the children Asgore had been forced to kill, had been chosen to be his lawyer. How could this child possibly be unbiased?
“I can tell you’re glaring at me, I can feel your eyes burning into the back of my skull.” Christa said as they approached one of many towering bookcases with titles on the shelves that read things like “Truth and Justice, Volume 1-4” and “Common Law” and “Justice is Blind”. “Whatever you have on your mind, just say it. Not healthy to bottle it up.” “...I’ve had to bottle much up.” Gaster muttered. “But very well. Why you? You, someone who’s soul was taken by monsters, would make for a terrible lawyer! You’ve got no reason-”
“A monster lawyer would have been clearly biased as well, you realize that?” Christa intoned as someone walked towards them, his hands in the pockets of his blue, fluffy-hooded jacket as he quietly watched, his eyes slooowly narrowing. “I don’t know why I was asked, but I’m going to do the best I can. If you want to help yourself and your case, we need to talk about the extenuating circumstances of your life. If the jury feels sympathy for you, they’ll go easier on you. Tell me your life story, tell me about your family.” She offered. “An awful childhood can go a long way towards convincing juries to show mercy. If they know about how much you suffered, they may think you’ve suffered enough.” “he HASN’T.” said a low voice devoid of any good humor, a voice that Gaster recognized immediately. It wasn’t as young as it had once been, but he knew exactly who it was all the same, and he whipped around as he realized...he was no longer wearing what he was wearing outside. Instead, he was in his white labcoat, wearing his dark pants, brown dress shoes, he could even feel the nametag he usually wore in his labcoat pocket! Yet though his head felt oddly whispy and swimmy, though he almost swayed alarmingly as he stared, he still managed to stand his ground as he stared at the now grown-up Subject 1-S.
The stubby, short and tubby skeleton was wearing dark grey pants and oddly enough, pink slippers. He had on a zipped-open blue hoodie, and a light grey shirt over his rather fat belly, but there wasn’t any smile in his features. Though his skeletal face had a design that made him look like he was almost always smiling, the absolute fury glittering in the recesses of his dark eye sockets made Gaster stiffen.
Before, the anger and fury had been something Gaster had somewhat written off. After all, Subject S was weak. His “greatest attack”, an attack Gaster had designed FOR him to fight humans, to break through the Barrier, did a whopping 1 damage. It was like being flicked in the face. Yet now?
Now, this skeleton before him radiated a new kind of power. A presence that Gaster had not felt before. He was all grown-up.
And he was mad.
“you don’t deserve to be up here.” his every word was dripping with venom. "i would recognize your voice anywhere, your face anywhere. you can't hide from me. now the tables have been turned, doc. and i'm really lookin' forward to seeing you fall and fry properly. maybe this time it'll stick."
“Sans…” Christa spoke quietly, trying to be calm but Sans gave her a dark glower that made her shut up.
“i haven’t FORGOTTEN, doctor!” Sans said, his deep voice quivering as he held up his hand, and though they were gone now, Gaster could faintly see an afterimage of drilled-in plates flickering at the top of Sans’s fist. He could faintly hear Sans’s screaming wails, remembering the agonized begging of the child as Gaster had drilled the handplates onto him. “you tortured my brother and me, you tried to make us kill, the things you did are nigh-unforgivable. keeping us locked in cold cells, forcing us to fight, seeing how much we could TAKE...i ain’t forgotten that, Gaster!” Sans yelled balefully, as his eyes seemed to glow with a terrifying blue flame. “i haven’t been a kid since I was what, five?! you stole that from me and my brotherhood! we endured years of horrors at your hand, and we didn’t turn out to be child-abusing, self-centered murdering-”
“FIFTEEN TIMES.” Christa said suddenly, all traces of calm now gone from her, as a detached, terrifying coldness stabbed deep into Sans, making HIM stiffen, and Gaster turned to look at her. “Fifteen times in the judgment hall. Despite them screaming and sobbing and begging for you to stop even after they’d tossed away their knife.”
Sans “harrumphed” and shoved his hands forcibly into his blue jacket. “...fine. PAPS  didn’t.”
“No. He didn’t.” Christa said quietly as she sighed. “But not everyone can be as strong as your brother. Not even “Daddy Dearest” over here.”
Sans laughed bitterly, turning away and making off for what appeared to be a children’s section, as Christa smiled, Gaster staring in surprise. There was Subject P, in a big, gigantic set of armor with a red scarf, gloves and overly large boots. His smile was as huge and gleaming as it always was, his voice rather high-pitched, almost faintly dopey, as he sat in an immensely huge, blue bean bag chair. He was reading aloud from a book called “Winnie The Pooh” to a young African American girl with very frazzled hair and a rather skinny, lean body who had beautifully piercing blue eyes, and was wearing a plain, simple white robe as her tiny hands laid in her lap.
“I’ve got something to tell you, Pooh Bear.” “Is it good news, Christopher Robin?” “No, it’s not.” “Then it can wait.” “For how long?” “Forever and ever.” Papyrus read aloud from the book.
“Hope loves listening to Papyrus read.” Christa said with a deep smile as Gaster realized that he was looking at the Soul of Patience. “She can listen to him for hours. He’s so good with kids.” “His own Soul has always been……….” Gaster trailed off.
He honestly wasn’t sure what he’d been about to say. Weak? Soft? Sympathetic? ...Kind? .........better?
“Well, he and Sans came from you, Gaster.” Christa remarked. “That’s where they got their first sparks of self. They had to learn kindness from somewhere. From Sans, it was from Paps. And from Paps, I think...from you. He does look a lot like you. You’ve got the same big doofy smile. And when you laugh...” She chuckled. “It’s like I’m watching “A Goofy Movie” and hearing Max laugh just like his dad he used to be so embarrassed by.”
Gaster sighed, long and hard. “Are you...are you trying to connect to me? Do you think that by acting for my defense and...and trying to speak of the kindness I have within that I’ll just forget that you’re a human? Do you not understand that my life was ruined by humans?” He told her. It was as if a blockage in his very spirit had had a knife stuck into it, and it was slowly drizzling out what laid beyond. Bit by bit, he was feeling the urge to talk about everything he’d endured when he was back on the surface.
Back when he could spend hours just...sitting under the rain. He used to love the rain. White noise, soft and steady, flowing all around you. Under an umbrella, it was like you were in your own little world, and everything was just...peace. Soft and steady peace.
He did miss his the feel of the sun on his bones. He missed the texture of the grass. He missed the way the wind very gently flowed through the tiny, adorable little stubby hair on his soft-boned head. But what he missed most of all was the rain. “My life was taken by monsters and I don’t hate them.” Christa intoned. “I got impaled through the chest by Asgore and I don’t hate him for what he did.”
“You’re a child, it’s easier for you to forgive! I had decades to think about my pain, I had CENTURIES, I…” Gaster trailed off. “I’ve died many, many times, Gaster.” Christa spoke quietly. “Sometimes by your hand, other times by Asgore’s, a few even by Alphys. That’s the downside to multiple timelines.” She remarked with a ghoul of a smile. “Cuz when you get up here, you remember everything. You’ll remember it too, if they let you stay. And maybe then you’ll think twice about assuming I haven’t suffered enough. So I’ll ask again. Tell me about your family.”
Gaster let out a very long, deep sigh. “If I tell you, I don’t want you...pitying me.” He grumbled as he folded his arms over his chest. “I couldn’t bear it.” “Pity implies I think lesser of you.” Christa said. “It’s not pity that you show equals. It’s sympathy.”
Gaster flinched.
...but he cleared his throat, and he began to speak.
SageoftheStars gave me the idea for this next "Six Souls" tale story. Inspired by the Handplates AU by Zarla-S on Tumblr,  Dr. W.D Gaster goes up to Heaven, and shall be judged for his many, many sins. Only one person can defend him before the Heavenly Host...a child, one of the Six Fallen Humans, a member of a species Gaster despises. Can he overcome his bigotry and hatred? Or has he simply gone too far to be forgiven? Does he even WANT to be forgiven? Does he even deserve forgiveness? And if so...from who? I've been thoroughly enjoying these tales that depict Undertale characters interacting with the Heavenly Host. There's really not enough stories that depict characters like angels and the like. There's plenty about demons and devils, but God himself, Angels, the "good" aspects of the biggest monotheistic faiths keep getting overlooked. I'm not sure why. It could simply be that people just think evil is cooler, or easier to write for. Or maybe it has to do with the huge amount of atheists and agnostics online, there do seem to be a lot more zealous of that group than Christians or others who hold religious faiths. Those who are religious and rather fundamentalist on the Christian side tend to be out protesting stuff like abortion clinics or the like, whilst the more zealous "nonbelievers" seem to hang out more online than at the corner of a Planned Parenthood. This is just from my own experiences, I'm not trying to speak for all Christians or all atheists or believers or nonbelievers, etc, etc. Mostly, I just like writing about stories that dive into religious iconography and concepts. There's so much lovely material that goes overlooked and unused! Anyway, enjoy. And by all means, leave a comment, a critique, don't be afraid to tell me how you feel.
