1. why did you choose your url?

because my friend cycles through media obsessions every two weeks and during a particularly intense star trek phase she finally got me to watch them without realising that i would imprint on james tiberius kirk like a lost fucking puppy. i’m still not sure whether i’m going to change my name properly but if i do james is going to be my middle name

i have a bunch of random sideblogs that are just url hoarding, & i have @teddystudies which is my old studyblr that i now use as an occasional diary ig

since approximately 2014?? i was in year 8? this blog is newer though i think it’s like 2017

i just use ‘q’ and i only queue stuff if i’m having a massive reblog session and i don’t want to just dump my latest interest on people all at once. i’ve always kind of wanted one of those clever queue tags but i couldn’t think of one

just for fun and then i got into fandom stuff and. sigh i had a very long attack on titan phase

it’s actually by my best friend @frankysbones who doesn’t post on here anymore (but she does on tiktok). she drew spock with a tiny little heart eyes jim in the corner and i fell in love with tiny jim so she let me use him

it’s my emotional support hellsite. i cycle between this twitter and tiktok 12 hours a day when i’m not at work and my brain is rotting

i like saying my completely unfounded star trek opinions and watching long time fans attempt righteous good faith discourse in the notes.

also i have fought with people over such controversial opinions as ‘don’t write smut about sixteen year olds’ and ‘don’t get angry at sixteen year olds for telling you to stop writing smut about sixteen year olds’.

there were also the attack on titan ship wars but let’s pretend that never happened
