Bonus A/N: They’re bonding~! In every Hallmark movie, the leads practically fall in love in one month. For this threadfic, I'm giving them at least a year and more (it's a whirlwind romance on Billy's side, whereas it's been more than ten years on Homelander's side).

So about the emotional knives in this update! 🔪 🔪There's always going to be a butterfly effect when it comes to time traveling so :) it's only fair to show HL a direct consequence of meddling with time.

Like I said on Twitter, this threadfic has two hurt/comfort scenes because with crisis, comes love 💗 ; this is their first hurdle (it’s the tamest one of the two; the second one hits harder but it is practically in every Hallmark Movie ever 🙄😂 so I’m obligated to write it). This part of the threadfic that I was able to squeeze into tumblr's 10 screenshots max/post mostly revolves around the "hurt" part of the hurt/comfort trope. If you were following this threadfic on Twitter, you already know what’d happened for the “comfort” part, shhh. I was just unable to squeeze it into these 10 screenshots for my tumblr readers…. But, as a lil preview of what’s upcoming, you can expect the "I didn't know where else to go" trope and HL's "oh" moment in Part III!

Threadfic Update Schedule: new content will be added to the Twitter threadfic every couple of hours and/or weekly until we reach a satisfactory-enough conclusion. Once I have enough new content to screenshot 10x, I’ll post a new part here on tumblr.
