Vanilla Occult Dump #2
Eight vanilla occult townies for download! Pictured with nothing but my default eyes. All of these sims are available for the @pixel-warehouse sim catalog. :)
(Full body previews and download info below the cut)
From left to right: Joshua DuMort (vampire), Leonard Harlow (spellcaster), Ryland Rhoads (merman), Matthias Finch (vampire), Clementine Sun (vampire), Adelaide Beauchêne (alien, view human form), Valerie Cross (werewolf, view wolf form), Marisol Wrotek (dormant werewolf).
Each sim comes with skills, careers, lifestyles, likes & dislikes, etc, but no sexual preferences (I left them all on the default option). Unlike my last occult dump these sims are meant to blend in a bit more with regular sims. And yes, I know green skin doesn't "blend in" but the alien's disguise form looks normal I promise haha. This post is already long enough, so individual bios are viewable on the gallery. Sims are available as a group or individually. Enjoy!

Despite their rough start, Tatertot definitely hangs out with Stormy the most and will love up on her if neither Lou nor Ed is an option.
Scheduling stuff/sort of a life update under the cut!
BTW friggin' finally got some CASpiration to cute up the Tomarang townies, so those will be popping up alongside some Orson stuff. Gonna be busy with schoolies for the next few weeks, so trying to get a nice backlog going!
ALSO I know I've been tagged in things and I totally will do them! Just maybe not until the weekend. My partner's mom is taking me and his family to some dinner theater thing as a late birthday gift plus I have to write a paper that's like "I totally have been nonstop thinking and working on scoring myself an internship for this summer in order to graduate and definitely didn't do pretty much everything like three days before the paper is due."

Obligatory "I'm still alive" post. In short, I've been struggling a lot with constant pain and its not helping my health, and alongside that work has just being nonstop. It's been sapping most of my energy, but hopefully with new meds I can get it under control again and find the energy to do more ✨️ s t u f f ✨️.
But.... some good news~ I'm working on a save file! There'll be no CC, but I am using content from multiple packs. It's going to take me a while, but I'm starting with Willow Creek first. I'm renovating lots, replacing some, and plan for it to be a 'five years later' kind of thing, but there will be some 'non-canon' stuff, so think of it as an alternative universe in some places. Some townies will be new, some will have aged up, moved to other worlds (where they'll be added when I get to that world), etc.
When I get to between 50% and 75% completion, I'm going to start sharing some pics. I'll then release it one world at a time~ :3
Hope you're all having a spooky October! ♡
#sims 4#sims 4 world#update#blep~ I had a kidney removed 3 and a half years ago and have nerve damage#but its gotten really bad recently and all scans/bloods are normal so they think scar tissue is trapping some nerves#but it hurts so freakin much some days ajdhjsjjd#so that's why my energy has been non existent shjdjd

Of course, I’m still sad about my ToT dying, but I managed to Pooklet 7 families and set them up over the weekend. I’m going to try to do the MCC, but I’m not starting with a random number of sims per family, I started more ToT style − a married couple starting each family. I still randomized their zodiac signs and aspirations. I just like making families in game, not in CAS. I cloned the same house for my Peasants [worth 14983$, pretty much the same as it was supposed to be] and Yeomen [worth 29865$, I think that’s a little less than it was supposed to be worth]. The Gentry house was worth 64321$ and I totally forgot about adding a foundation to it, but I don’t think it matters. I usually skip the foundation in TS2. I only added the foundation to the castle. Other than that I followed the rules and gave 5000$ to Yeomen to set them up and 1200$ to Peasants. If they didn’t end up with what they were supposed to, I used familyfunds on them so that they ended up with 100$ and 5$ respectively. ~*~
The Gardiner (yeoman) family − Hortensia and Leofwine (fortune aspiration) − started off, no-lifing the garden... or a plantation I should say, because they had a big garden, I think like 90 plots. No wonder my game was lagging because of the insects. 1/10 of the plants died, I think, but that’s still pretty good. Also, Hortensia (the wife, with knowledge aspiration) became a Plantsim on Thursday or so [she was definitely already pregnant, and had a visible baby bump when she became a Plantsim]. They produced like 700-800 tomatoes. Most of them were tasty or bland, but some were mouthwatering [very few of them and only because I managed to talk to some of the plants].
I also wasn’t sure when I was supposed to roll ROS, but I felt like I shouldn’t have done it on the very first day of playing. I did the ROS at the weekend and I rolled renaming a baby. The baby had been born on Friday evening/night, so they decided to change the baby’s name very quickly. The baby was renamed to Olga Leila (from just Leila). The birth of the baby was rather uneventful, I rolled 52 for the baby and 65 for the mother. It was assisted by the midwife (who’s a born midwife, she wanted to talk to tummy immediately). Also, I think Plantsims are quite hard to kill, so it would be rather strange, if she didn’t survive, though then I could say she became green during her pregnancy and it was some sort of sickness she didn’t manage to overcome or something.
It started snowing the night between Sunday and Monday and I decided it was perfect, because I assumed they were due to pay when the first snow came. Also, I allowed townies to come onto business lots, because I had heard someone had issues with playables not being able to buy anything since they had like no money. I’ll try to turn it off later on, but it was honestly a problem to get it started... The Gardiners had almost no money [and earned literally nothing] during the first week, even though they were gardening nonstop… Well, they had a small break for a WooHoo. The plants had grown just a day before winter, I think and I was still harvesting them just when autumn turned into winter.
Ah, also Squire Carbonneau kicked over their trash can when they were working 24/7, for no reason. But he’s the highest sim in my hierarchy, besides the royal wallet guy, so... I guess he gets away with it?
Also, I got some random +40$ in the bank around the time when I opened their business, so I took a mental note of that and calculated their money, ignoring that 40$. I also allowed them to dig once, because a dog had dug a hole on their lot and the rules said you could do it once. They dug up a worthless rock, of course. At least that’s tax-free. I didn’t even sell it for now though.
Their tax should be 576 if I’m calculating that correctly.
+ 1000 / rent.
+ 192 tithe.
So they should pay 1768.
+ 50 for the midwife service, to the midwife.
God, that’s almost all of their money (they ended up with 2020$, after I subtracted that random 40$). They managed to only double the initial 100$ they got. And yes, I’m allowing both peasants and yeomen to have home businesses for now, because I don’t know how else to deal with trading for now and I don’t need more new mods for now.

SIMSIE’S STARTER SAVE FILE VERSION 7.0 DOWNLOAD
My Simsie Save is officially updated for Sulani! I have been basically building nonstop since I got early access to this pack and now it’s DONE. The quickest update yet.
I “fixed” the entire Sims 4. I went in and renovated every community lot, filled every empty lot with new homes and locations, and created new CC free townies to fill every empty house in the game.
What’s included? - 34 brand new lots - Renovated versions of every EA community lot - 65 new townie families (all with skills, careers, relationships, & stories)
What’s new in this version? - 4 new households with detailed backstories - Serenity Spa & Resort and Captain’s Catch Seafood Restaurant in Sulani - Updated all community and residential lots in Sulani - Updated pool lot in Newcrest to include Island Living items
Requirements and download instructions under the cut.
DOWNLOAD (simfileshare) + CLICK HERE to tour the save on my Tumblr!
What do you need?
EVERY PACK is necessary
The save will work without all the packs, but you’ll have naked Sims
Recommend this default skin (Knight Skin by madmono).
No mods or custom content are necessary.
* I’m only recommending my defaults to ensure that the Sims look the same in your game as they do in mine. EA skins aren’t the cutest and my Sims will be ugly without that default, I assure you.
Where can I get more information?
If you go to the Simsie Save Tumblr you can tour the save, read more about it, and see all of my new townies before you even download it! The explore pagelets you click through the worlds and there’s a page for each world listing all of the townies with their images and descriptions.
You can download all of my townies, homes, and renovated lots individually on my Gallery (lilsimsie). You might have to do some scrolling because I’ve been working on this for so long, but they’re all up there.
How to install?
Make a backup of your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves folder.
Download the file, unzip, and place files in Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves.
If it says you already have a file of that name, change the slot number. You should probably choose something higher. Just make sure you don’t have that slot number already. (Example: change Slot_00000088.save to Slot_00000099.save)
Open your game and enter the save. It is named “SimsieSave7.0”. You’ll see it pop up with a ghost as the preview family.
Once you’ve got the save opened, make sure you “save as” and create a new file for your own gameplay. This way you can use the save again without having to redownload.
Place your own Sims or play with some of mine. Have fun!
I just wanted to drop a quick thank you at the end of this for all of the tremendous support I’ve had on this save. This is basically my child and I’m so glad to that so many of you enjoy it and are playing with it. Lots of love to all of you.

@goatkibble replied to your photoset “The Year 2238, Day 1 - Violet’s Journal As I expected, once everyone...”
If story progression has anything to do with it, they will all be partnered up tonight and you will get whatever is left over. If you're lucky.
Lol that’s so true actually. I changed some settings around in SP trying to slow the partnering up down, but STILL two of the townies hooked up on the first day. In all honesty, I really don’t care that much about whether they are technically taken or not. I’ll break up any couple for the sake of my story whether it will become part of the actual story or not. Breaking up sims is super easy luckily.
@rosiesimming replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 113”
I'm gonna miss Justine and all the others when they move out! At least they'll still be around, but soon Justine is gonna die T__T So sad.
I’ll miss this generation too, it’s been an amazing generation so far and I’m really happy about all the siblings and their characters. But really it’s time to move on and I’m sure Benjamin and Madelyn will create some pretty interesting children themselves! It’s hard for me to keep up with so many sims, I’ve been neglecting Annabelle and Vincent because I just can’t find enough time in the sims days to give them a storyline lol. I have some ideas for Vincent especially!
@dandylion240 replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 113”
Not sure she should be trying to set her siblings up. That could really back fire on her.
Ohh trust me I know all about that haha! The amount of times my sisters have tried to set me up with someone... it always enraged me :’D. Madelyn means well though, she wants her siblings to be happy.
@goatkibble replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 112”
Maddy is far and away the most beautiful of them all! Although Annabelle has a lot going for her as well.
I agree Madelyn has the natural beauty. But I love Annabelle because of her fierce look as well. To be honest, all of the siblings are very good looking kids! Billy Caspian get a major recommendation from me as a spouse choice in Riverview.
@laurawritesandgames replied to your photo “A Sims 3 Colony Challenge! So for my brand new story I have designed...”
This is a really creative idea. Can't wait to see the story that results!
Thank you! I hope you will enjoy ^^
@stepawayfromthecarrot replied to your photo “A Sims 3 Colony Challenge! So for my brand new story I have designed...”
Great idea! Looking forward to it
Thanks! To be honest it feels refreshing to start a new story again even though it’s because of bad circumstances haha.
@rosiesimming replied to your photo “A Sims 3 Colony Challenge! So for my brand new story I have designed...”
This sounds so interesting! Can't wait to see it :D
Thank you ^^
@ktarsims replied to your post “Ugh.. new disaster.. Hey guys my computer crashed this morning and...”
*sends hugs* I hope you are able to get it fixed!
I hope so too. Luckily my father says he has a special device that can restore my files from my harddrive even if I can’t use it anymore so my sims files should be safe. I just hope he can fix my entire pc without having to buy any expensive parts though because I really don’t have money for that at the moment... This laptop is great and all, but my Avesnes household lags a lot on it because it’s just not as good as my desktop and my Avesnes house is crazy large and there are too many family members lol...
@rosiesimming replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 112”
They're all so gorgeous!!
I know right! Justine and Billy have produced some amazing kids! Don’t you just love watching genetics play out in this game :D.
@rosiesimming replied to your post “Ugh.. new disaster.. Hey guys my computer crashed this morning and...”
Well I hope you get your pc fixed, but I eagerly await whatever you have planned ;D
Thank you! Same message to you as to ktarsims. I have to say it’s a nice opportunity to play a new game, though once I got my old files and hopefully my desktop back I am going to have to set up a schedule to be able to keep up with everything lol...
@dandylion240 replied to your post “Ugh.. new disaster.. Hey guys my computer crashed this morning and...”
I hope you are able to fix it.
My dad is my only hope, but he’s great with computers and has fixed many of my problems in the past. We have localized the problem to my harddrive. It somehow runs at 100% power nonstop as soon as the PC is started up, which makes it extremely slow and makes me unable to start up anything. I figured it out after starting up task manager and waiting half an hour for it to actually boot -_-. I googled the problem and the conclusion was it can be caused by many different things. From a faulty windows update to malware to just a broken harddrive. First I need to get my files to safety (my dad can do that), and then I can start figuring out what the real problem is.
@shhhushhh replied to your post “Ugh.. new disaster.. Hey guys my computer crashed this morning and...”
This happened to me 2 weeks ago. Nothing happened after the automatic repair. Then I tried to switch it on again an it magically worked. And then I copied all my sims files on two different external drives - first thing to do!!! So fingers crossed the Christmas miracle works for you too!
Unfortunately no miracle yet for me! But I’m hoping a factory reset might fix my problem after I’ve restored my files somewhere else at my dad’s place first. If not, then maybe I’ll have to buy a new harddrive.
@goatkibble replied to your photoset “Jack: “You know Taylor, it may not seem this way but I feel this...”
YASSSS! Finally some man on man action! :D:D:D
Haha I was quite shocked to suddenly see Jack do an amorous hug on Taylor. They didn’t hang out much yet together. Though in all fairness all of the contestants are good friends with each other by now. The next elimination will be a close one I can tell you! I’m still playing around with my settings because I’m still not getting any autonomous actions that will make them romantic interests even though I’ve got stuff like first kiss on autonomous and stuff like woohoo available with 1.500 fun...
@goatkibble replied to your photoset “Jack: “You know Izanami, even though Taylor is a pretty hot male,...”
Cheating? Do you mean sneaking into the hut?
Yeah Izanami tried to seduce Thomas into sneaking her into the champions hut shower, but that’s not allowed since she’s not a champion!
@rosiesimming replied to your photoset “Jack: “You know Taylor, it may not seem this way but I feel this...”
FUCK ALREADY! XD
Your words my thoughts!
@rosiesimming replied to your photoset “Justine: “…and I’d like to thank the farmer who brought us the seeds...”
Oh my gosh, Justine is getting way too big for her pants, so to speak.
Lol Justine has always been too big for her pants! :’D
@goatkibble replied to your photoset “Justine: “…and I’d like to thank the farmer who brought us the seeds...”
SO obnoxious
You can say that again! She spent an entire day practicing speech and didn’t stop until she nearly peed her pants lol.
@goatkibble replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 111”
I can think of a 4 family members who should move out right away! Celeste (and her spawn) can lurk in the shadows like a vulture hoping for Maddy to fail where we don't have to see her XDDD
Celeste, Herbert and their kids will move out as soon as Madelyn is pregnant, so have some patience! ;) Though now that they have kids and are a happy family I won’t be spending much time on them anymore besides showing off their kids of course.
@goatkibble replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 110”
Oh yay! Let's hope she moves out now.
She will, eventually ;P. Madelyn can still get struck by a meteor you know... It happened to Takitsuhiko in my Descendants of the Sun save so you never know!
@hyperkaos replied to your post “The Avesnes Aristocracy - 110”
A very happy and melancholy moment at the same time. :/
I know :< I am scared for Justine’s death every day. I keep good track of her age as you may have noticed haha. I really hope she becomes old. I think the athletic skill helps!
@goatkibble replied to your post “Replies~”
I'd like anyone but Justine to win!. She's too smug and all these challenges are too easy for her :P
It’s true the challenge is way too easy for her, but by now all of her traits have passed already. The next challenges won’t resolve around athletics anymore and that’s really what makes her so good at everything, besides her charismatic skill of course. It’s about time we test brains in this crowd, don’t you think? I’m sure Izanami won’t mind as she’s a genius lol.

New Post has been published on https://shovelnews.com/what-to-watch-on-netflix-in-october-according-to-our-editors/
What to Watch on Netflix in October, According to Our Editors
Happy Autumn! You know what the start of fall means? Falling leaves, crisp air, and some spooky movies and shows to curl up to with a bowl of candy corn. But there’s plenty more streaming on Netflix in October than just the frightening: Some really funny, heartfelt, and weird offerings are on deck this month, too. Plus, stay tuned at the bottom for a couple of our Honorable Mentions (that is, the non-Netflix shows we’re also obsessed with).
Advertisement – Continue Reading Below
Without further ado, here are the Marie Claire editors’ picks for what you should watch on Netflix this month:
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (October 26)
As much as this sounds like it takes place in a fridge, I’m pumped for this. I’m hooked on Riverdale, the most delightfully absurd television show I’ve ever seen. It pairs beautifully with ice cream and willing suspension of disbelief, and I’m hoping for more of the same with Sabrina—but this time with more witches. —Jenny Hollander, Deputy Editor
Made In Mexico (September 28)
Two of my favorite things are reality TV and México, and they’re all rolled into one in this wild-looking show. Essentially, it follows really rich people in Mexico City and all of their drama. I’m a sucker for accents and particularly love the way they speak. The closing sentence of the trailer is, “El ser Mexicano es muy chignon,” which translates to “Being Mexican is badass” (or “awesome,” depending on how much slang you know). Either way, I can confirm that it is badass and I’ll give the show a shot. —Krystyna Chavez, Social Media Editor
Netflix

The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell (October 12)
Have you ever seen Christine McConnell’s Instagram? It is gorgeously bonkers and I want to live inside it. She’s a baker/artist person with a super goth aesthetic. How come it didn’t occur to me to go for the baker-meets-goth aesthetic? It’s incredible. This baking show will show off McConnell’s amazing skill as a baker through her super imaginative creations. —Cady Drell, Culture and News Editor
Terrace House (October 9)
Terrace House is the tamer version of The Real World (or at least that was the case when I watched the Hawaii episodes): Strangers move into a house together and, as they go about their lives while being filmed, commentators watch the clips and discuss the intricate relationships among the housemates. As a viewer, you get a unique glimpse into the social life and interactions of Japanese twenty-somethings. As a Chinese-American, I can relate to certain Asian behaviors and expectations that are absent from typical American reality TV. —Marina Liao, Fashion Editor
Netflix

Double Feature: Blade and Blade II (October 1)
I went through an “it’d be cool to be a vampire” phase, not because of the Twilight series but because of Blade. In this world, the undead wear lots of black leather, lounge around suggestively in modern interiors, and party nonstop—there’s even a vampire club where, instead of foam, folks are showered with blood. I mean c’mon! Wesley Snipes’s Blade is half-mortal, half-vampire, and he kicks ass with his sword and slow-mo martial arts moves in both, but Stephen Dorff—as the elfin-but-dangerous bad guy in the first movie—stole my heart. And in my fantasy world, me and Parker Posey (the villain in Blade II) are vampire besties. —Joyce Bautista Ferrari, Managing Editor
Big Mouth 2 (October 5)
I’m so pumped for this to be back! The animated show follows two best friends, Nick and Andrew, going through puberty and it is freaking hilarious. This season also gets even better because one of my faves, Gina Rodriguez, is joining the show as the new girl driving the boys crazy (and the girls crazy-jealous). Full disclosure: The show is, like, super inappropriate. But did I mention it is amazingly funny? (But what else would you expect from Nick Kroll?) —K.C.

Private Life (October 5)
A film about a couple struggling to conceive sounds like a bummer—until you learn that couple is played by Paul Giamatti and Kathryn Hahn. I would watch anything those two are in so sign me up, heartache and all. With Giamatti and Hahn’s masterful dry humor (and Molly Shannon also starring) I’m sure it will have some laughs, too. -Kayla Webley Adler, Features Editor
Truth or Dare (October 3)
I’d be lying if I said that I was going to watch this all the way through again—I love Lucy Hale, so I actually purchased it on iTunes this summer, and absolutely regretted this decision—but it does feature a sincerely terrifying facial tic (“Truth or Daaaaare?”), and I want to get better at my impression of it. —J.H.
Universal
The Kindergarten Teacher (October 12)
“[Fill In the Blank] from Hell” movies are my jam and this one stars Maggie Gyllenhaal (who also currently kills it as a smart, ambitious working girl in HBO’s The Deuce). Her devotion, ambition and obsession here, as a teacher trying to foster the genius of a young five year-old, had me rooting for her in the trailer. But the hint of stalking and kidnapping left me aching to know how the craziness ends and how she got there. Can’t wait to check this out on Netflix. —J.B.F.

Schitt’s Creek: Season 4 (October 11)
If you’re not already watching this, WHY NOT?! This is the funniest show on TV and this is the best season so far. The snarky family-out-of-water schtick of the once rich and snobby but now destitute Rose clan has evolved, as Johnny, Moira, David and Alexis become full-fledged townies of the backwater burg—albeit dressed in designer clothing. The actors are deft at striking the right balance of affectation and affection. —J.B.F.
Hip-Hop Evolution: Season 2 (October 19)
A hip-hop documentary made by a Canadian? What do Canadians know from rap? Turns out, a lot. The four-episode first season of Canadian rapper Shad’s series expertly charted hip hop’s birth in the South Bronx through the rise of West Coast gangsta rap, told through interviews with the people who know it best: DJ Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, Grandmaster Flash, and more. I can’t wait to see who Shad snagged interviews with for season two. —K.W.A.
Netflix

The Haunting of Hill House (October 12)
There’s nothing I love more than tacky-but-creepy movies and TV shows. Final Destination, The Ring 4—you name it, I’ve loved every damn second of it. In fairness, this looks more creepy than anything else, but I’m hoping that it turns out to be a little Riverdale, too. Basically, I’m just hoping every new show takes inspiration from Riverdale. —J.H.
Once Upon a Time in America (October 1)
For his final film, Sergio Leone, the Italian director who invented the spaghetti westerns (see: 1966’s The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly), went in an entirely different direction. His Once Upon a Time in America is an epic, nearly four hours long crime drama that follows a group of Jewish mobsters in New York City’s Lower East Side as they rise to power over the course of several decades. If you need more convincing, take a look at this stellar cast: Robert De Niro, Elizabeth McGovern, James Woods, Joe Pesci, and Jennifer Connolly. Sold. —K.W.A.
Warner Bros.
Special Mentions:
The Romanoffs (October 12 on Amazon)
I’m sorry, are you telling me that Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner made a series of star-packed vignettes centered around very different people who all claim to be descendents of the Russian royal family? And it’s the perfect mix of accessible and intimate, prestige and popular? Buddy, stop right there! You had me at “series of star-packed vignettes.” —C.D.
Man in the High Castle Season 3 (October 5 on Amazon)
I am deeply obsessed with this show and binged both seasons within one week. Granted, I have a deep obsession with anything WWII-related, so I’m already biased, but I think it’s universally fascinating to watch a show about an alternate reality where Japan and Nazi Germany won WWII and took over America. The show is filled with intense stakes, weird mysteries, lowkey romances, and a bunch of blurred, muddled lines that’ll make you accidentally root for the bad guys and hate the good guys. So good. —Chloe Metzger, Beauty Editor
