#I have a lot of specific hcs about Kaji

I'm new but I just read Suo x Reader x Sakura and was wondering if you could do Ren Kaji x Reader x Suo poly?
Hiya! I sure can! I hope you don’t mind me doing some hc for right now.
I think Suo generally would act similarly regardless of who the third person is, so I’ll go a little more in detail about Kaji, especially since I hc him rather specifically and the dynamic of the poly hinges on him.
𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐂𝐬
Suo Hayato x Kaji Ren x Reader
genre. [nsfw under cut] fluff hc with a dash of angst.
cw. Polyamory. Mentions of violence/fighting. Choking. Impact play. poor grammar.
Kaji at first would have a hard time in the poly. Not because he is jealous or possessive, but because he is scared. Despite him having feelings for you, it would take him a very long time to say something and an even longer time for him to be in a relationship. His trust in himself is low when it comes to residual anger from overstimulation or post-fight. worst thing imaginable to him is scaring you, or god forbid – hurting you. Luckily Suo is a good fighter and a smooth talker. He has a relaxing aura so even if something were to go down, Suo would be there to make sure you are not within the line of fire.
Suo’s communication skills also help if there is a misunderstanding. Kaji is clunky at times with talking about his feelings. Not that he won’t, but that it’s hard for him to. Sometimes pin-pointing what makes him upset or identifying overstimulation is delayed. Suo, perceptive as he is, helps cut the processing time down. He even helps Kaji find safe spots to duck into that are quiet. It is the type of situation where you and Suo were together first and he picked up that Kaji had feelings for you. Being the gentleman he is, he was able to set something up and talk about boundaries.
You and Suo always have candy on you! Kaji finishes his lolipop? You can supply the next! Suo is good at prepping meals so with all that sugar, there is some semblance of balance. The three of you cook together and venture into candy making at times, too.
Kaji is absolutely an acts-of-service type and physical touch type. Not in the same way Sakura would be, but in that he will always walk you home. He’ll make sure you are safe and feel safe. He’ll have a hand ghosting on your lower back. He’s holding your hand, playing with your hair, hugging you and leaving little kisses on your cheeks. He and Suo will act like little body guards when walking with you. Kaji teaches you how to fight and Suo teaches you self defense. Kaji also can teach you some parkour and how best to climb walls!
Kaji is able to get better control over his impulses and his anger with the help of you and Suo over time. He’s more willing to trust himself to love you both. He’s able to lean into love and being loved without the fear of hurting you or Suo as when both of you are present, you both watch out for him as much as he watches out for you. It’s collaborative and this poly is the definition of patience and acceptance.
In terms of sex, I think Kaji would take time getting used to it. The whole situation can be overwhelming. Not to say he is shy, as I definitely do not think that he is. He’s just instinctual. Suo being able to guide in gentle ways helps relieve some of the tension and keep Kaji from getting too lost in the sauce.
Kaji has self control issues. If it feels good, he wants to go harder. He wants to grip you at full strength. Losing himself in sex means he’s in his own mind, unaware of those around him. His fear of hurting you is an afterthought when he’s in that mindset and Suo is his trusted limiter. Soft reminders to lighten up, to pay attention to your face. If the sounds are too much, Suo can provide earphones and you all can use hand signals instead. Kaji overall is a gentle lover and treats you with delicate care. When he doesn’t – Suo is there to keep him in check.
Kaji is not a fan of being the one to inflict in impact play. The association of smacks and choking with violence is overwhelming, so Suo takes over on that front. Before starting each session, boundaries are thoroughly discussed as well as mental state. Suo takes extra time to set up after care to be ready as soon as everyone is finished. Kaji may not enjoy the inflicting, but he loves seeing your expressions more than anything.
If Kaji is ever a bottom, I see him really trusting Suo with sensory deprivation as well. It’s something that can really help him relax.
#I have a lot of specific hcs about Kaji#mostly because i interpret him to be autistic with explosive anger at times#when writing this i realized how well he and suo would work as collaborative partners tho!#[sweet.windbreaker]#windbreaker hc#wind breaker hc#wind breaker x reader#suo x kaji x reader#suo hayato x reader#kaji ren x reader#polyamory cw#choking cw#violence cw

If you haven't already, could you expand more on the "Asuka's a lesbian" theory? I've seen people say it and I think it seems reasonable, but I haven't found anyone actually explain their thought process.
calling it a theory makes it seem a little more serious than it is, i think. more or less its just that a lot of asuka’s characterization resonates with the experiences of gay women (which i am using broadly, tho i do specifically think asuka is a lesbian), especially in regards to alienation from womanhood/women and compulsive heterosexuality.
basically, she exhibits literally no genuine affection for men but feels like she has to imitate heterosexuality (ie kissing shinji), she chooses kaji as a man to fixate on bc he is inherently unavailable, rejects all of the boys at her school and leaves her date early bc she can’t simulate interest in them, and mentions a few times how the idea of being in a relationship or having sex with a man disgusts and disturbs her. the only person she is even remotely close to is hikari and, emotionally, really the only person who seems to have an understanding of her and vice versa is rei (who she has a kind of classic baby gay obsession-rivalry thing with, which i will talk about in my eventual asuka/rei post lol). these are all things that mirror the actual experiences of young wlw p closely, which is why hc-ing asuka as a lesbian is popular.
probably this kind of thing is more difficult for non-wlw to understand bc there isnt the sort of obvious gesturing to same sex attraction like w maya or kaworu or w/e. even though, for me, asuka is a much more accurate depiction of my experiences as a lesbian than maya. but if youre not a gay woman youre probably not well versed in their experiences and commonalities beyond like.....being attracted to girls--for a lot of reasons, obvi, one of which being that gay women arent often depicted in realistic ways so like.... how would you know what actions/emotions are signals or flags.
then again, of course, how many ‘true lives of real and nonsexy lesbians’ stories is any given cishet person (and, to a point, non-wlw people in general) really intaking--esp w the goal of gaining this understanding so that you can approach media with an actual metric for judging whether or not a character may be gay without them having to be like ‘i literally love women/men’ (and even then like... look at fucking kaworu). im not kind enough to really give people the benefit of the doubt, i guess, but either way the difficulty in this kind of thing is that it’s all based in reading actions and expressions that feel inherent to the gay experience as therefore representative of gayness. and also being willing to accept the presence of gayness as something not necessitating textual confirmation--which is, for way too many fucking people, where the problem lies.
its a bit of a dead horse but really the idea of like having to prove a sexuality for a character who has no stated sexuality is rooted in the presumption of heterosexuality as not only a neutral category but an inherent one. like, if we are to remove something from the default set there needs to be a given reason and evidence, a detailed claim of divergence, and what counts as acceptable is ever shifting and impossible. there isnt a like....homosexual scientific method or kinsey scale conditional proof system and, even if there was, people probably still wouldn’t believe it.
basically what im trying to say is that if a lot of lesbians say ‘i think this character is a lesbian’ it might be best to just believe them.
#asks#nge#evangelion#asuka langley soryu#neon genesis evangelion#god this got out of hand#but it was between being brief and snippy or extremely longwinded#and yknow where i went#kind of this is a thing that i have thought about forever and ever and so#i did kind of tangent and ramble#chozomechanic#q#this has been a text post#mine

I know you headcanon Asuka as a lesbian, but do you have any other sexuality headcanons? Your Asuka post was nice so I was wondering if you had any other similar headcanons
aw ty ty im glad you liked my post <33 tbh even though it was kind of a rambling mess I'm like a lil proud of it lol and am happy it resonated w a lot of other people.
in terms of other hcs I don't have any that are nearly as detailed or interesting, mostly just kind of vague sketches and ideas. except for asuka I mostly think of character's sexualities in regard to relationships between them and other characters rather than how they may exist as 'an identity' within the character as an individual entity, if that makes sense.
Like, for example, I think of Misato as bi but most of my interest in that is vested in reading her and ritsuko as ex-girlfriends--bc i think its a fun idea and a genuinely interesting way of reading their dynamic and also objectively correct :). And I really only think of Rei's sexuality (as in identity and actionable interest. i think about rei's '''sexuality'' as in her presence as the womb/mother and how she's objectified etc quite often lol) pretty exclusively in terms of Asurei because it's kind of the only situation in which I can imagine Rei in romantically. I do think that probably Rei would have a difficult time genuinely forming a relationship with a man considering her experiences. I have some loose thoughts on her connection to gender because I imagine it's pretty nebulous--in terms of 'hcs' id say I see her as p solidly nb--but also fraught in that 'im supposed to be a womb' afab way crossed with 'literally a clone of a woman and a genderless alien'. could maybe expand on this more but I'd have to think on it a little--i'm still not really sure where i'm going with it lol.
off the top of my head for just like cut and dry hcs: ritsuko is a lesbian. duh. if you are even thinking of considering saying anything about gendo to refute this then your head is full of sawdust. kaji's bi but what else is new. Toji and Kensuke COULD be Boy Best Friends but probably theres too much robot trauma going on and also kensuke might be a little too dense idk. tbh I just want someone to hold toji's hand who isn't like also trying to be his mom :/
kaworu is firmly gay and uh....gendery. idk he's an alien and obviously distanced from the concept of humanity but, also, has consciously identified himself as a boy or at least like.....boyish. I also have some vaaagueeee thoughts about that and him self-assigning as a 'protector' but as of rn I mostly think that it is worth noting that he chooses to be 'a boy' in whatever kind of approximation of that and of 'gender' he has. but also at the end of the day kaworu doesnt give a shit about gender he's from space.
uhhhh off the top of my dome thats all I can think of rn. if you want me to talk about anyone specifically feel free to ask!
#evangelion#neon genesis evangelion#nge#asks#this is a mess sorry i just wanted to actually fucking answer it lol#but my brains oatmeal so forgive if this like. sucks.#for real im somuch better w specifics so like feel free to ask about someone in particular if you want to knoow idk#if you see me go back and edit this do not be surprised#mine
