The grandfest area was so cute 😭 It's nice that they put real effort into making everything custom for it. I never caught the final splafests for splat 1 or 2 but I've played way more of 3 than either of them so this did have me a little 🥺

(for"sendacharacterandilllist"askgame) DREWWWWWWWWWWWWW
YAYYAYAYAYAYA SOMEONE ASKED ME
ok so drew !!!
favorite thing about them
everything. But if I had to choose then maybe his attachment issues or those little spiky strane of hair above one of his ears
least favorite thing about them
just the fact that his backstory is not revealed yet. Like I hope the whole "he has family issues and feels detached from them making him have a complicated and toxic view kn relationships as well as attachment issues" headcanon ks revealed to be canon otherwise, if he's acting the way he is just bc he does, then he makes for a pretty boring character no matter how "realistic" it would be (which it kinda wouldn't but whatever that's a separate discussion). so yeah like the lack of traits rather than the traits themselves ig. Though rosyclozy said season 2 is druffering 2 so I am EXCITED
brOTP
dria. draisy. dracy. idfk which I should pick. endless possibilities. and they all parallel each other in one way or another and I fucking love them platonically but I'm not interested in them romantically if I'm gonna be honest. they'd all fix him
OTP
this is so unfathomably predictive and obvious of me but Drake/PlumPeach like come on a) I relate to Drew's "I'm in love with my best friend but they can't know and they're in love with someone else" situation heavily, there are endless analyses to be made and written, endless fic potential, SO MANY songs about breakups that just Fit Them, they make each other worse and also interesting characters. Someone once called me an abuse apologist that should never date anyone because I shipped them? LMAO. that was like 3/2 years ago though. without drake drew just like... wouldnt have character. Which says a lot. Second OTP is HOT TAKE droey. I made a whole fucking post abt them please don't @ me o can explain themselves - also droey angst. Also they're complicated af as well. But they are also pretty annoying so I'm not sure lmao. Dria rules too but prefer it platonic
nOTP
Idk drelliot .?? It's so unfathomably cliche and stereotypical toxic yaoi material and I hate it but I also think it's funny so idk I don't really have notps unless it's siblings or bad age gaps cuz they make me uncomfortable
random headcanon
do I have to share only one? I want more so I'll do more. I think he's Filipino, he had one of those glow in the dark shoes in elementary school and flexed them HARD, he has major depressive disorder and maybe borderline personality disorder, he hyperfixates on video games, listens to mostly emo rap, spends most of his time inside during summer, gets a new iphone every year, cyberbullies little kids on roblox, also still plays roblox, gets expensive watches just to flex and also bc he measures his worth by wealth his parents give him bc that's the only love they show him LMAO, and thinks furries and weebs are cringe, and also i love him
unpopular opinion
he actually loved/loves zoey
song I associate with them
ok how about I drop my whole playlist for them instead
Alex G - Nintendo 64
Amy Winehouse - Back To Black
Annika Bennett - Boy Who Has Everything
Billie Eilish - Wish U Were Gay
BoyWithUke - Toxic
Conan Gray - Heather
DoshVO - Dear Jake
DoshVO - Do You Wanna Bully Hailey?
DoshVO - Like a Six "Zoey Diss"
DoshVO - Move Along
ElyOtto - SugarCrash!
Fran Vasilić - eyes blue or brown can't remember
5 Seconds Of Summer - Teeth
Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know
Jack Stauber - Cupid
Kaden Mackay - Don't You Dare (Make Me Fall In Love With You)
Kali Uchis - Just A Stranger
Laufey - From The Start
Laufey - Promise
Laufey - Second Best
Liana Flores - papercut
Mitski - Old Friend
Olivia Rodrigo - drivers license
Olivia Rodrigo - traitor
Olivia Rodrigo - vampire
Regina Spektor - Two Birds On A Wire
Rex Orange County - Best Friend
Rex Orange County - Sunflower
Rex Orange County - Television / So Far So Good
Steven Universe - It's Over Isn't It
The Front Bottoms - Be Nice To Me
The Vaccines - Heartbreak Kid
The Walters - I Love You So
...wow. I really thought I had more - whatever, more to be added w time, dw
Also the song "you better move on" I have no idea who made it ???????? I just listened to the cover by Frank Wattkinson lmao
favorite picture of them
ooof this one's heard. I mean hard. shut up
ok ok so I like this one .
Tumblr media
cuz he's just done with him. looks angry but probably suppressing his years so fucking much. leaving Jake behind after such struggle and effort to keep him... dam (and it also shows their height difference lmfao)
Or one of these !!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another ones from the finale, he's just laughing and smiling from the sheer pain he's in and the utter irony that is his friendship with Jake and he's so hurt but he's probably doing this to keep himself from crying but he's also probably just laughing at how pathetic he is for trusting Jake or believing that they really had something when it all turned out to be a huge lie and he just can't believe in himself or anyone anymore
ahahaha
Tumblr media
this one's just him being jelly like eurgj. 😠😒
Tumblr media
this one's a funny reaction image concept
Tumblr media
and I also love this one cuz like, first of all lol at his eyebags he's either been crying or not getting any sleep or BOTH, he'd also in a call with Zoey trying to get him back and he's just looking at the side like he's mad at her and he's hurt by her but he also looks like he's trying so hard to resist idk how to explain it man he can't deal with her but he can't deal without her yknow what I mean
Thank you for asking !!!!!!

Disco Elysium For Beginners
So apparently my cunning plan is working and some of my mutuals are interested in learning more about my recent obsession by playing the game Disco Elysium. Great!!! In your honor, and so that I will have more people to talk about the game with, I present to you Laura's Beginner's Guide to Playing Disco Elysium.
What Is It Even About?
Hope, despair, poverty, the human condition, politics, pinball, art, love, loss, communism, experiencing a bisexual awakening in your forties, colonization, dancing, substance use disorders, unions, mental illness, truth, trying to be a good person in a completely broken society, beauty, the end of the world, joy, complicated relationships, kindness, intersectionality, the complex and problematic nature of the profession of police detective, cryptids, juvenile delinquents, PTSD, and falling helplessly in love with Kim Kitsuragi.
Oh wait, did you mean the plot?
You play as an amnesiac detective who wakes up after an apocalyptic bender that obliterated his memories. There is a dead body hanging in a tree behind your hotel, and you are there to find out who killed him with the help of Kim Kitsuragi, a detective from another precinct who has also been put on the case and who will be your partner while you are in town. You can, as the official site puts it, "become a hero, or an absolute disaster of a human being."
Where to Get It
Disco Elysium is available for Mac and PC via Steam and for XBox and Playstation (both current and previous generation) and Nintendo Switch. The current version is "The Final Cut" which includes full voice acting. The Steam version goes on sale pretty frequently - I'd keep an eye on Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales if you're interested in picking it up. The MSRP is $40 but you can often find it for around $20 if you look for a sale - the PS4 version is $17 on Amazon right now (11/15/2022).
I'm Not Really A Gamer, Can I Still Play?
Absolutely! DE does not require any "twitchy" gameplay - you interact with the game by reading/listening to text, selecting dialogue options to talk to people, and clicking things/people to interact with them in some way. It runs very much like a tabletop RPG, where all the uncertain things are decided by skill checks and dice rolls.
Notably, DE is quite replayable even though the solution to the mystery doesn't change, because different character builds will have very different experiences and may even see completely different sidequests and dialogue. Unlike most RPGs, DE makes many checks silently, in the background, and if you don't pass the check you just don't see the relevant content and never know you missed anything. I'm on my third full and sixth partial playthrough and I still find new things.
Mechanically, playing Disco Elysium goes something like this:
Go into a new area.
Look around. You will see little colored circles appearing, either on top of items/people in the environment, or sometimes around your player character's head.
Click on the colored circles to interact with them. You will learn something, do something, or start a conversation.
Doing stuff and talking to people gives you XP! Every time you get 100 XP, you get one Skill Point. You can either use it to increase one of your skills, unlock a slot in your Thought Cabinet, or forget a Thought from your Thought Cabinet. You don't have to spend them right away; you can save them up if you want to.
Once you have clicked everything you want to click and talked to everyone you want to talk to for now, go somewhere else.
Repeat.
What the Hell is a Thought Cabinet?
As you go through the game, you will unlock "thoughts" that you can ponder. You have a certain number of slots in your "thought cabinet" where you can be mulling over an idea; you start with three slots and can unlock more up to a max of 12. Thoughts will have certain effects while you are thinking about them, which might be positive or negative. While you are still thinking them over, you can equip or unequip them at will. Each "thought project" takes a specific amount of time.
Once you have spent the designated time on a thought project, you will see the message "Breakthrough Imminent" and then you will "internalize" the thought. The thought will have effects on the gameplay, which can include skill buffs and debuffs or other effects. Once the thought is internalized, you can no longer unequip it. It will take up that slot permanently unless you spend another skill point to forget it.
So what thoughts should I internalize?
A lot of them are mainly for flavor or role-playing but a few notable ones:
Actual Art Degree gives you bonus XP when you pass a passive Conceptualization check. This is the most common passive check in the game, so AAD is the thought to take if you want to get as many skill points as possible. You unlock the thought by talking about art as much as you can.
Get Jamais Vu as early as you can on Day 1 by talking with Joyce Messier at the dock. It opens up some key dialogue options and skill checks as well as giving you bonus XP whenever you click an orb.
Ace's High or Ace's Low gives you extra Empathy bonuses towards Kim. Which you will want, because Kim is the Best.
Wompty-Dompty-Dom Centre is available starting on Day 3 and will give you $2 and some XP when you pass an Encyclopedia check.
Homo-Sexual Underground. Its only effect is to allow you to talk about sexuality with Kim. Therefore it is the most important thought in the game, because approximately 90% of players will be in love with Kim by the second in-game day.
Okay, What About Skills?
Your character "build" (strengths, weaknesses, abilities, etc.) is primarily determined by two things that you can adjust as the game progresses by spending Skill Points: Skills and Thoughts.
Skills in DE are similar to skills in other RPGs in that they determine how good you are at various things. The main difference is that instead of the more traditional skills like strength, dexterity, or charisma, DE has skills like Savoir Faire, Rhetoric, and Empathy. As befits a game that emphasizes the story and characters over combat, the skills are a lot less about how good you are at punching monsters and a lot more about the state of your character's head. The skills are broken down into four categories:
Blue or Intellect skills - brainy stuff like Logic, Rhetoric, and Encyclopedia.
Purple or Psyche skills - emotional stuff like Empathy, Volition, and Authority.
Red or Physical skills - the condition of your physical body. Endurance, Electrochemistry, and Pain Threshold live here.
Yellow or Motorics skills - how well you use your physical body. Things like Hand Eye Coordination, Perception, and Composure.
There are good descriptions of each skill in the game. At the beginning, you can choose from three predefined archetypes (Thinker, Sensitive, or Physical) or create your own by allocating 12 points between the four skill categories and picking one skill as your "signature."
What Is The Best Skill Build?
There isn't an "best" one! You can play the game equally successfully with any build, but different builds will feel very different to play, especially early in the game.
That said, I would recommend against doing a 3-3-3-3 build because it just won't be as fun. Most skills generally start to really show effects at around a 4, and failing skill checks is often funny and shouldn't lock you out of completing any checks except if you've done something really unusual.
Basically the "best" build for you is whatever is the most fun - pick something that speaks to you and go for it.
In general, Intellect builds will get a lot of worldbuilding and lore and be really good at detecting. Psyche builds will have a better sense of other people and the world and strong intuition. Physical builds tend to be able to punch their way through obstacles but aren't very smart or empathetic and struggle with following their gut instincts/cravings without thinking about it. Motorics builds will find several early-game skill checks a lot easier for them and will be good at skills like shooting, picking locks, noticing stuff, keeping cool under pressure, and talking about cars.
Some key things to consider when deciding on your character build:
Encyclopedia is the skill that gives you lore and worldbuilding information.
If you want to min-max your build to get as many skill points as possible, make sure you have good Conceptualization so you can unlock the thought Actual Art Degree.
Esprit de Corps is similar to Empathy, but it works specifically on other cops. Doing a run with high EDC helps unlock a ton of lore about many of the other key characters in the game.
Electrochemistry will try to get you to drink, smoke, have sex, and take drugs. It will also give you insights into the drinking/smoking/drugging/sex habits of others. VERY high EC will allow you to unlock a leopard-print unitard underwear option for your player character.
You have two health pools, Health and Morale. Health is affected by the Endurance skill and Morale is affected by the Volition skill. If you start a game with only 1 point in either purple or red skills, that can mean you die very easily early in the game. My first playthrough I did a high INT build and I died in the first room of the game from turning on the lights even though I had a terrible hangover. So just be aware.
Shivers is my favorite skill in the game and I'm not alone there. Shivers allows you to have a connection to your city. A lot of the best moments in the game come during Shivers checks and the writing is generally really evocative. Great for atmosphere.
My favorite skills are Esprit de Corps for character knowledge, Shivers for cool atmosphere, and Drama because Drama is just really funny.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
If you seem stuck, go somewhere else and talk to more people OR spend a skill point to level up a skill.
You can zoom in and out. My first playthrough I didn't realize this for a while and kept missing certain characters who were standing somewhere I needed to be zoomed out to see.
A lot of things that are usually part of game menus have to be unlocked. You get a map by buying it at the bookstore. You get your stats and to-do list by finding your police ledger.
Cuno seems horrible but if you gain his trust there's a lot of depth to his character. There is also a potential ending where Cuno acts as your partner during the endgame.
Do the sidequests. They are often the best stories in the game.
Don't be TOO afraid of disappointing Kim. If you avoid being racist/sexist/hurting people, he will usually come around.
That said, if you play as a terrible person he won't be your friend anymore. I don't know how people can take the emotional trauma of that, but some people do!
Save frequently, Just In Case.
Don't be too hasty to reset. Let things play out. Most of the deaths are pretty funny and sometimes you might think you died but really you didn't.
That said, it's fine to reload a save if you messed something up. It's a single player game, it isn't "cheating" to do this if you want to.
If you fail the red check at the church it is extra double okay to reload a save and make that not have happened. (This is probably one of the two highest-stakes skill checks in the game because if you succeed you get one of the best scenes in the game and if you fail you get one of the worst.)
Look at everything and talk to everyone.
I like to keep at least one unused skill point at all times in case I need to unlock a skill check I've failed once.
If you arrest someone or send the body to Processing, Kim will be gone for the rest of the day. There are some things you can only do with him and some you can only do without him, so plan accordingly.
Hope this helps and always feel free to ask if you want more help/get stuck/need hints/just want to scream about the game with me!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ TELL ME SOMETHING YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT IN YOUR FIC ELLIE (please :))
LEAF since you are a Music Girly i will just. give you five songs from my already home playlist and why i put them on there :)
friends by ed sheeran
listen this one is pretty self explenatory (friends just sleep in another bed, and friends don't treat me like you do. well, I know that there's a limit to everything, but my friends won't love me like you HELLO). extra added bonus for the 'your eyes will lead me straight back home' because ACK
paper rings by taylor swift
added for a multitude of reasons mostly because they WOULD marry each other with paper rings. also that whole thing about i want your complications i want your dreary mondays like. idk. i rlly tried to bring across this feeling of. they love each other in the quiet moments just as much as they do in the big moments. like. its the little moments that almost matter the most? lando reading to oscar when he has a concussion and can't focus on his book. lando taking a nap on top of oscar while oscar reads. them just arguing about what to have to dinner. i love things like that that just show this quiet affection for each other. ANYWAY also this song is simply a bop and the vibes are just. very the vibes of the fic. i think. i was feeling it, anyway
kitchen song by tessa violet
i always rlly love the kitchen as like the heart of the house, which i think shows because i do always tend to include either cooking or just kitchen moments in my fic. ANYWAY once again it's about the quiet moments. also i feel like the line 'i don't need a lot when we got flowers at the store' is kind of reminiscent of lando rather early on in the fic going 'i dont need to get married because i have my little life and i have oscar and why would i want to change that???'
nothing by bruno major
once again that theme of this playlist is the quiet moments lmao BUT look me in the eyes and tell me the line 'we'll play nintendo though i always lose, cause you watch the tv while i'm watching you' ISNT about oscar and lando i dare you
already home by a great big world
now objectively this song has absolutely nothing to do with this fic (its about a long distance relationship) BUT it's where i got the title from and it's i think one of my best titles ever (if i do say so myself) and so it gets a honorable mention on this list

𓆩♡𓆪 jock!jungkook—a much needed thread.
Tumblr media
⇢ ☆ ˚₊  Jeon Jungkook, third year
Football player and part time fuck-boy (< Jimin said that). He's apart of many different clubs cause he likes the extra activities and the bonus points he gets as credits. A lot of people know him, he's got a snapchat score of more than one-hundred thousand (red flag!1!).
Jungkook's a cool guy, he's messed with a lot of girls but he doesn't take them seriously. Probably only had like one serious girlfriend out of all of them but he ended that real quick cause she wasn't it. Always at the frat parties cause his fraternity throws them lmao. Beer ping-pong enthusiast here!
Drives a black Mercedes Benz, likes to light it up and make thirst traps for his Instagram. His insta is literally only one pic, posts a bit more on stories when he feels like it (rarely). Gym rat with Namjoon. He don't do much outside of school if he's free, often stays at home playing different video games.
Nice "fuckboy".
⇢ ☆ ˚₊  y/n l/n, second year
In the nursing program but mainly majors in accounting/business. Talks to a lot of people but isn't friends with many. Really nice, too sweet for your own good. Lots of people like you, but they also take advantage of you cause you're a little too slow.
Airhead here! Really clueless half the time and is really slow. The nicest way possible you're a dumb bimbo. Likes to wear low cut tops a lot and cute miniskirts with tennis shoes but forgets to wear safety shorts a lot. Carries a big heart underneath those big tits—
Half the male population wants a piece. You have a lot of followers but you don't follow them cause you're busy following cat accounts. Major Animal Crossing and Sailor Moon fan right here. Posts a lot of thirst traps unknowingly. Owns a bunny. Said bunny sleeps on tits.
Hates clothes when at home <<<
⇢ ☆ ˚₊ Are you two dating?? Yes-No.
You act like it. Nothing is official and people are like what the fuck? Especially Jimin. No one is more confused than Jimin. Like what the fuck you mean you're not dating? But you're hitting it?!
It's complicated, you both beat around the bush around that topic but are extremely loyal. Like Jungkook still messes around with other girls but doesn't fuck them? You're too dense to notice any other guy flirting so sex is off the table for you.
Carries your bag around cause you complain it's heavy. Has bought a Nintendo switch just to play Animal Crossing with you. His mom loves you and your mom loves him. Lap is your permanent chair, face is your gaming chair—
Hand? On tits. Always.
⇢ ☆ ˚₊ But you fuck? Yes. Just yes.
Only happened cause he helped you out and you kissed his cheek in return which somehow turned into you giving his dick a kiss and then yeah. Titty galore. This man loves your tits, always leaves a mark and never misses a chance to squeeze. Ass is amazing too but titties..
"Maybe you shouldn't wear any panties when we hang out." "Hm. Okay. I don't like clothes anyways. ^^"
Creampies to the max. Jungkook likes watching your dewy folds stick to his cock whenever he slides out and then pushes back in. He'll fill your pussy and then watch as your pussy gapes around nothing and strings of creamy cum slips from your cunt. Challenges himself to make you cum more then three times in one go.
Got the chubbiest and softest pussy ever. You're a creamer. It's Jungkook's most favorite thing in the world. He'll fuck you slowly just to hear the soft noises your cunt makes. He'll have you on all fours with your chest flat on the bed and ass high in the air. Your hands will come back to grip your ass cheeks and hold it apart to show off your pretty holes.
Jungkook's a huge fan of taking photos of you naked and filled with cum. He'll even video tape you two fucking either from a first person pov or just set the phone up on the nightstand.
⇢ ☆ ˚₊  Ummmmm but the relationship status?? Very much giving "mine and I'm not sharing".

Pairings: WandaNat x reader
Word count: 8.6k
Summary: What happens when Y/n wants things to change in the relationship but Wanda and Nat are scared of the change.
Warnings: blood, shooting, Stockholm, implied kidnapping, smut, strap-on, fingers, double penetration, cum filled strap, mommy kink, bondage.
A/n: this is my first post on here so I'm learning. Hope you like this. The smut isn't till the very end. I'm bad at summaries and tagging so if I forget anything let me know.
NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO STEAL, COPY, OR REBLOG MY WORK AS THEIR OWN
Today Wanda is dragging you to work with her, but really it is your own fault for how you have acted. You have been acting like a total brat on purpose. But after last night you can’t take it anymore.
You get that when Wanda and Nat brought you in you had no desire to be with either of them. But these last few months you have wanted nothing more than to be with them. No matter how many times you ask them to stay they just fuck you and leave.
So today you decided to act like a brat making Wanda bring you into work with her. Nat had already left for work when Wanda forced you two had woken up. You haven’t said anything to either of them since last night.
You're currently laying on a couch in Wanda’s office playing on your Nintendo Switch. The couch you are on is in the right corner of the office near the double doors that lead out into the main office. Wanda’s desk is in the back of the room in the center of the room with a large window overlooking the city.
You look up to the reflection of your Switch when you hear the typing on Wanda’s keyboard stop. You can see her reflecting perfectly on the screen as she looks from her computer to you.
“Y/n.” Wanda calls out to you but you just ignore her. You can hear a huff escape her lips causing you to smirk looking back at the game. You have never given her the silent treatment before but you feel like it is the only way to get her attention anymore.
“Y/n.” Wanda says again a bit louder but you still play your game. “So you're giving me the silent treatment?” You hum in response, still not using your words but giving her enough to just piss her off more. You hate to admit it but you love when she brings you to work with her. You like it when she leans you over her desk and just rails you from behind. You used to hate it but now you love it. You even have to admit you just like being around her even if it is silent and she is working and you're just playing on your Switch.
You look back up to the reflection to now see Wanda leaning on her desk, her hands firmly planted on the solid oak desk as she stands looking at You. The dress shirt she wore today leaves nothing to the imagination as she leans forward. It looks as if her eyes are glowing red looking at the reflection through the screen, but just then the door creaks open and a man walks into the room. You can see that Wanda straightens herself out. You turn yourself on the couch and now you are in a sitting position. The man not even acknowledging that you are even here but that is normal.
“Who the hell are you?” Wanda spits looking at the man who has just interrupted her. The man just chuckles at Wanda. “You don’t remember me?” He asked. You can tell this is a rhetorical question from him but you watch intrigued.
You finally get a good look at the man now. He looks as though he hasn’t showered in weeks. His hair sticking up and all around almost looking like Flint Lockwood from Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. He has on some decent brand clothing but they have been worn down and dirtied. An old Carhart jacket, some Levi jeans that have many holes, and some Timberland boots with the heel coming off.
“You can’t even remember the people who you ruin their lives.” His hand moves back and you can now see that he has a gun tucked into the back of his pants. You look from him to Wanda, but she hasn’t noticed it yet. You look back to him as his hand wraps around the handle.
“You destroyed my life. I lost everything when you fired me over a minor issue. I could have fixed that but no you and your bitch of a wife fired me. I lost my job, my family, my home. I lost everything because of you. And because of that you're going to lose everything too.” He starts to pull the gun out of his pants. All you can think about is losing Wanda in this moment. So you do the only thing you can think of doing. You internally curse yourself as you toss your Switch to the side and jump off the couch running towards the man. As he aimed it at Wanda you were able to push his arm up and the gun went off into the ceiling. You start to struggle with the gun. You have a bit of a hard time fighting him with him being almost a foot taller than you, but he seems to have some malnutrition. To you the struggle seems forever but in all reality it has been less than 10 seconds. With the gun pressed between you, you can’t tell who it is facing. you hear another gun shot go off.
Before you can register anything the man is being pulled away from you. You can see Natasha pinning the man to the ground. That is when you start to feel the sticky liquid on my stomach. You place your hands on your stomach and look down. You can as your white t-shirt is becoming more and more soaked with blood. You pull your hands away looking at them coated in blood. You look back up and see the panic on Natasha’s face.
Finally the adrenaline is wearing off and you can feel this burning pain coming from your stomach. Your body feels weak as you stubble backwards. Before your legs can give out and fall you feel arms wrap around you and gently guide you to the ground. You look up to see Wanda pulling your head into her lap. She brushes your hair out of your face. You can see the tears threatening to spill as she places a hand on your cheek. You place your bloodied hand over hers. You hadn’t even noticed that Nat was now at your side until you felt pressure where the burning pain was. You grunt out in pain and squeeze your eyes shut.
“I know it hurts detka, but I have to put pressure on the wound.” Nat says as she applies some more pressure. “I’m sorry.” You whimper and open your eyes looking at Wanda. Tears hit your face as you see Wanda crying above you. “There is no need to be sorry detka.” Wanda tries to reassure you as she laces her fingers with yours.
“I should have seen the gun sooner, and I-I’m bleeding all over your carpets.” Your eyes feeling tired and heavy as you close them for a bit. “Hey there is no need to be sorry detka.” Wanda says, then Nat cuts in. “Detka keep your eyes open for me ok. You're going to be ok, you just have to stay awake.” You open your eyes looking up to see Nat looking at you with a small smile on her face. She is trying to stay strong but you can tell she is worried. But you fight to keep your eyes open longer is dwindling as your eyelids close.
“I’m sorry.” You mumble out as the blackness overtakes you.
“Y/n, detka, you need to stay with me.” Wanda tries to shake you awake but you are out. “Nat she won’t wake up.” She look to her wife panicked as you won’t wake back up. “Check her pulse Wands.” Nat says still applying pressure to your wound.
Wanda takes her hand from your limp one and find the spot on your wrist. She can feel a faint thudding of your pulse as your blood is still pumps through your heart. “She has a pulse!” She exclaim just glad you are still with them.
“Good, now where the hell is that ambulance?” Nat yells out looking back towards the door of Wanda's office. And just like that the door burst open. Wanda's assistant followed by some men with a gurney. Once one of the men leans down and takes over from where Nat is she grabs Wanda gently and pulls her up as another man makes sure your head doesn’t hit the ground from where your head was in her lap.
Nat pulls Wanda into her chest as she let some tears fall looking down at you being worked on. Wanda thinks if only she hadn’t brought you into work with her today you would be ok. Wanda can’t help the terrible thoughts that race through her head as she watches the men get you stable and then place you on the gurney. They quickly start rolling you out as Nat pulls away and starts pulling Wanda out of the office.
“Cancel everything we have today. Stark and Rogers are in charge. And will someone figure out how that fucking lunatic got in here with a gun.” Nat yelled at those who are outside the door to Wanda's office as they follow behind the paramedics.

The drive to the hospital was quiet. Wanda watched as Nat’s knuckles turned white even through her blood stained hands as she gripped the steering wheel. As soon as they got to the hospital Nat threw her keys to the valet driver and they went right into the ER.
They didn’t bother to stop to ask where you had been taken. They found you quickly when they followed the chaos. As they approached the bustling room they heard a long continuous beep coming from the room. As they got to the door their eyes widened with fear at the scene in front of them. Wanda's hands flew to her mouth, covering it with shock.
Your heart monitor was flatlining. Your once white shirt now red was cut from your upper body leaving a blood stained bra and dressed lower half. Your skin paler than normal as all the color had drained from your body. A tube is placed in your throat as someone pushes on a bag to help you breathe. Nurses and doctors working around you as someone places the pads on your chest and tries to shock you back to life. One shock, your heart beats but then another continuous line on the monitor. They up the voltage and shock you again. Your body once again jolts with the electricity that is trying to bring your heart beat back. This time there is a peak in the monitor and it does it a second and then a third. Your heart is beating again.
This is when the doctor sees Wanda and Natasha, ushers the nurses to get them out of here so that they can get you up to surgery. They are led out into the waiting room before they start wheeling you out and towards the elevator.

Wanda and Natasha have been waiting several hours in the waiting room as the doctors continue to work on you. Wanda can’t stay still as she pace around the room. Nat is on her laptop and Wanda can’t help but roll her eyes looking at her wife working while you could die.
“What is so important that you have to work on it now?” Wanda questions her wife who looks up from her laptop. She can see the shine in Nat's eyes as she still holds back the tears. She always acts strong even when she just wants to break down and cry.
“I’m not working.” Nat just says back flatly. “Then what are you doing?” Wanda question back feeling upset at anything and everything. Nat turns her laptop towards Wanda showing her the page she has open. “I’m ordering medical supplies so that we can take care of Y/n.” Wanda's features soften. “What if she doesn’t make it?” Wanda slumps down into the seat next to her wife. She has turned her screen back around towards her. Wanda places her head on Nat's shoulder. Nat wraps her arm around her wife tightly and rubs up her down in a gentle motion.
“We are talking about Y/n here. She is stubborn and strong. She isn’t leaving us anytime soon.” Nat reassures Wanda. “Remember how she wouldn’t stop bugging your for a whole week until you bought her that stupid Nintendo Switch. She was about to drive you crazy until you finally caved.” Wanda chuckled a bit at the memory. “If I hadn’t brought her in today she wouldn’t be fighting for her life. I didn’t see the gun.” She whispers.
“You brought her in because she was being a brat right?” Wanda nodded her head in response. Nat just smirked at her. “I think she likes when you bend her over your desk to prove a point just as much as you do.” Wanda lets out a watery chuckle. “Oh I know she does.” She smile but that smile quickly fades as she think of the chance that I’ll never get to see you or do that again.
“It’s not your fault Wands. The only person this falls on is that man.” Nat wraps Wanda in a hug as more tears threaten to fall. As she finally calm down a few minutes later a surgeon walks into the waiting room. The two quickly stand and meet him part of the way.
“Y/n lost a lot of blood today. The bullet did some damage but we were able to repair the damage. Y/n is going to be just fine but she has a long road to recovery ahead of her. She is going to need a lot of help from family and friends.” The surgeon told us. Nat shook his hand as she told him. “We are going to take great care of her. Thank you so much for saving her.”

It has been one week since the shooting and you were finally able to go home. You still have to stay in bed but at least you can sleep in your own bed. Neither Wanda or Natasha have said anything about that day and what happened or the reason you were there in the first place. You know they want to wait till you all are in your own home till they probably get mad at you for doing something so stupid. You haven’t been able to let out my own emotions about what you have been feeling. Let alone prepare for the wrath of the two women.
You don’t regret taking the bullet for Wanda but you still feel like they don’t love you the way that you love them. Maybe now you can have an actual conversation where you hope they won’t punish you for speaking your mind. Though you feel like you're broken to them now, why would they even continue to care.
When you got back Wanda and Nat led you to their room and placed you on their Alaskan king bed. You never get to stay on this bed. They always just came to your room. So the feeling of this bed put you to sleep pretty quickly after the strain it took to get home and in this bed.
“Detka it’s time to wake up so I can clean and put a new bandage on.” Wanda cooed, waking you up from your nap. You grunt as you struggle to sit up a bit more in the bed. Wanda pulls your shirt up and over your head leaving you exposed to her. Nat watching from a chair by the window with a book in hand. Wanda gently pulls off the bandage that is covering your surgical incision and bullet wound.
Wanda throws that away before she moves to clean the area. You grab at her wrist stopping her actions. She looks up to your eyes as you stare into hers. “Why are you doing this? Look at me.” You use your other hand pointing to the large incision that will leave a nasty scar. “I’m broken, defective. I mean come on don’t you only care to keep me around for sex.” You look away from her eyes looking down. “Why don’t you just not and let it get infected so you two don’t have to worry about getting rid of me.”
“That’s not true detka.” Wanda says her voice breaks hearing your words. “You sure could have fooled me.” You can feel the bed dip on the other side of you but you just close your eyes. “For months I asked you, both of you to stay with me. It was always not now or maybe next time. There never was a next time.” You open your eyes as tears stream down your face. Looking up at Wanda. “I cried myself to sleep every time you would just fuck me then leave. All I am to you two is a fuck toy with holes that you can fill and then leave. I fucking love you two and I want you two. I thought that’s what you wanted too. That’s why I was being a brat that day. The day I got shot. I just wanted you to see me, but now all I am is broken and nothing for you.”
The sobs that wreck your body as you try to hold them back only causing you more pain as your body shakes. Your hand drops Wanda’s no longer able to hold it as you try to wrap your arms around yourself in comfort. Your head falls down where your chin is pressed to your chest.
You then feel hands cupping your face and forcing you to look at one of them. Beautiful green eyes looking back at yours. “None of that is true. I’m sorry detka.” Wanda says tears spilling down her cheeks.
You feel your face being turned towards another pair of piercing green eyes. “We are so sorry detka. We were scared that you still wanted to leave us. We didn’t want to let you in if you wanted to run again. But we realize that all we did was push you away.” Nat lets the tears fall from her eyes.
“When we saw you lying on that bed your heart stopped, we were scared that we lost you forever. We don’t want to lose you forever. You are everything to us and we are so sorry for pushing you away. Please forgive us. We want you here with us, we love you so much that it hurts. You are nothing but beautiful and strong and a scar is not going to change how beautiful you are to us.” Wanda says drawing your gaze back to hers. “Please don’t leave me.” Was all you could mumble out through the tears.
“We’ll never leave you again detka. You're staying right here with us. We love you so much.” Nat said as she wrapped her arms around you and so did Wanda. They were gentle not to hurt you or brush against your wounds.
As my crying started to calm down the two pulled away from you. “Do you think that maybe I could go out to the store sometimes. I like to go grocery shopping. You could even send Bucky with me. I like him, he is nice but I know you’d feel better if someone was with me. And maybe we could all go out together sometimes. I miss going to the movies.” You say quietly but loud enough that they will hear you. Worried that they will still turn you down after that.
“We can talk about that later.” Wanda says. “Please I’ll be good, I promise I don’t want to leave you.” You plead with them hoping they will change their mind. “Detka we can talk about it when you're healed I promise. We want to make sure everything is set up right if you go out. Especially after you getting shot, we don't want anyone to hurt you again.” Nat added.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love you.” You said excited that you will be able to go out again even if it is just to the grocery store.
You finally let Wanda clean and put new bandages on before you all settled in the bed and watch a movie together.

It’s been 2 months since you got home from the hospital. Things still haven’t changed that much. You love that you now sleep in the same bed as them and you all do more couplely things. But the one thing you asked about, they still shoot you down each time. Saying that you will talk about it later, but later still never comes.
It’s Saturday around 11am and you can hear Wanda and Nat in the kitchen. So you think today may be a good day to try and ask again. You walk into the kitchen seeing Wanda dance around cooking in only one of Nat’s large t-shirts and some underwear. Damn does she look hot doing that. Then you see Natasha sitting at the kitchen island sipping on some coffee and reading a book. You love the look of concentration on Nat’s face as she reads her book.
You're pulled out of your train of thoughts when you hear Wanda speak up. “Hi detka, want any food?” You give her a wide smile. “Yes please.” You take a moment to gather the courage to ask them what you really came in here to do. “But I, um… Wanted to ask if I can go to the store today? I want to make you guys dinner. It is something my mom used to make me all the time and I really want to make it for you two. If neither of you can take me I bet Bucky can.” You turn and look at Bucky who is posted as a guard in the house most days. “Right Bucky?”
Nat lowers her book. “Detka we talked about this. When your healed we will have this conversation.” Nat's voice is soft but her answer frustrates you. “But I am healed. At least healed enough to go to the store and get a few things. Please?” You plead with Nat.
“I said no. Now go eat what Wanda made before we consider a punishment instead.” Nat let out flatly looking back to her book. “You lied to me. Both of you lied to me. You said that when I was healed we would have a conversation about me being able to go out. Well guess what I’m better but here I am still asking for one simple thing.” You can feel the tears welling up as the words spew out of your mouth. “It is always later or just a plain no. It was all lies you told me that day. I thought you trusted me but I see the mistake is that I trusted you.” You quickly turn to leave. “I wish I would have just died that day instead.” You say in a low voice hoping they won’t catch it.
But they do hear you. You make my way back to your old room. You can hear two pairs of footsteps behind you and your name being called but you don’t care. You just get to your room quickly shutting the door and locking it behind you.
You fall to the ground as a sob rips from your throat. All you want is for them to trust and love you but you are just back to the fact that you are just their sex toy and nothing more.
“Y/n open this door.” You hear Nat’s voice on the other side. She doesn’t sound angry but she is good at hiding her emotions. "Just leave me alone.” You say through the sobs as you get up moving towards the bed. “Detka we just want to talk.” Wanda’s kind voice comes through the door. “And I said leave me alone for fuck sake. God I’ll take a punishment later but just leave me the fuck alone.” You cry out as you make your way towards the bed crawling under the blanket and curling up into a ball.
Behind the door seems to go silent for a few minutes. That is until you can hear the door handle being jiggled a bit. Then you can hear the gentle creaking of the door being open. Of course they picked the lock of the door.
A hand is placed gently on your back but you have no energy to pull away. Your completely encased by the blankets so they can’t see you and you can’t see them. Of course they can see your form on the bed but not your actual body.
“Detka we’re sorry that we haven’t talked about you being able to go out.” Natasha begins talking but all you can do is bury yourself further into the blankets. “Y/n sweetheart we just want to keep you safe. You are mostly healed but you still have plenty of healing to do.” Wanda adds in. “Yeah well I think a short trip to the store isn’t going to kill me.” You mumble through the blankets.
You can now feel the blankets moving from around you as two bodies climb in under the blankets. Wanda hugs you from behind as Nat cups your face in front of you. Her eyes looking at you with sadness.
“I’m sorry detka.” Nat says in a hushed tone. “Sorry doesn’t change anything. I can’t go out so can you please just leave me here alone.” You say pulling your face back out of her hands turning into the mattress. “We are not leaving you here alone.” Wanda said, placing a kiss on your exposed shoulder.
“How about we all get dressed and get up?” Nat said, a hint of excitement in her voice. “What?” You question turning your head to look back at Nat. “Get up and get dressed, we are all going out today.” Nat smiled at you. “Really?” You say excited, your eyes lighting up at the thought of all of you going out.
“Yes, now hurry and get up before I change my mind.” Nat laughed as you flung the blankets from your bodies. You scurry to get dressed followed by the other two women. They had moved all of your clothes to their room… your room you guess; when you started staying in there. You quickly throw on a band t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. Throwing on a retro looking pair of vans to finish off the look. Nat and Wanda getting dressed in some casual clothing before you all started walking to the garage.
Once in the car Nat starts driving towards town. Wanda is in the front seat next to her while you sit in the back seat of the car. “I’m hungry, we didn't get to eat.” You say leaning forward between the seats. “Where would you like to go then?” Wanda questions pushing your head back to the back seat. Worried that if we get in an accident you'll get hurt. “There is this little diner that I use to go to all the time that has some of the best food. Can we go there?” You ask hoping that they will say yes. “Anything for you detka.” Nat smiles as she sees the wide smile on your face in the rearview mirror.
You give Nat the directions to the diner and you get there pretty quickly. As you all step out of the car the place looks just like a remember it. It looks like an old 50’s diner that is smack dab in the middle of bigger more modern buildings. The neon lighting still looking as bright as the day it opened.
You grab both of their hands and pull them into the diner. You slide into an open booth that is near the door. Wanda takes the seat next to you and Nat sits across from the both of you. The diner looks exactly how you would think it looks like. A long counter that you can sit at where older men read their newspaper as they sip on coffee. There is an assortment of pies in a case behind the counter. You have a small hole in the wall that gives you a view of the cooks in the kitchen. The diner has a red and white theme so the leather of the booths are a nice bright red and the tables have a mix of red and white on them.
A woman in an outfit to fit that of a server in the 1950’s walks up to you with a pen and paper in hand. But this face you know. The server is someone you have seen for years and who you would consider a friend.
“Y/n?” The woman asks you smile spreading across your face. “Emily!” You exclaim back. “Damn how have you been?” She moves her hands to her sides as she gives you a big smile. “It’s been a hot minute since I saw you." She chuckles looking between you and the women you are with. “I’m doing great. How have you been?” You question back. You can see some anxiety coming from the two women joining you in the booth but you're just so happy to be here and talking to someone you know that you don't even notice.
“You know, living the dream.” Emily chuckles. “So who are these two fine ladies joining you today. The last time I saw you, you were still dating that one guy.” You grimace at her words. “Oh yeah, him. That jerk is history. This is Wanda and Natasha. They are my…” You pause for a moment not knowing what to call them. “Girlfriends, we are Y/n’s girlfriends.” Nat finishes with a smirk on her face.
“Damn girl you got both of them. Congrats. I’m glad you got rid of that jerk, I never told you how much I hated him. So I’m glad you found these two lovely ladies.” Emily smiled and what she said made the three of you smile with her. "Me too.” You say softly.
“Now enough chit chat, what can I get for you three.” Emily asks knowing she will get in trouble the longer she spends talking to you. “I’ll have my usual. A cheeseburger and fries. But this time I want a vanilla milkshake.” You say with a huge smile plastered on your face. “The milkshake, I see you can splurge on the big items now.” Emily jokes. “Yeah I’m not living paycheck to paycheck anymore so I can actually get the milkshake.” You happily tell Emily, but you can see the small frown that crosses both of your girls' faces.
“I’ll have the same thing but with a strawberry milkshake.” Wanda smiles handing Emily back her menu. “I guess I’ll do the same as well but with a chocolate milkshake.” Nat finishes also handing Emily her menu back as well. “It will be out shortly. It was nice seeing you again Y/n.” Emily smiled, tucking the menus under her arm and taking the order to the little window for the kitchen.
“Detka, could you not afford to have a milkshake before us?” Wanda asks you in a hushed tone. “Uh, no. I sometimes didn’t even have the money to get some food here. I would just come in and talk to Emily some nights.” You answer shyly. “I’m sorry sweetheart. Know that you will never have to worry about anything ever again as long as you are with us.” Wanda places an arm around your shoulder pulling you closer. “Thank you.” You say in a hushed tone. “Always detka.” Nat added, looking at the two of you cuddled on the other side.
It doesn’t take long for the food to come. As all of you sit and eat Wanda chimes in. “Why don’t we go to the movies?” You about bounce of your seat. “Yes!” You can’t help your excitement. Movies are one of your favorite pastimes. So to be able to go to the theater with your girlfriends and enjoy a movie in a theater sounds amazing.
Nat takes out her phone and looks up movies and showtimes that you all can go see. She slides her phone on the table and lets me look at them. “Ooo, I really have been wanting to see this.” You click on the movie Sing 2 and slide the phone back to Nat. “Well it looks like if we finish eating in the next 20 minutes we could make it to the 2pm show.” Nat says sliding her phone back in her pocket.
You start to shovel your food into your mouth in order to get done as soon as possible. “Detka slow down, you will make yourself sick eating so quickly. We will make it there on time.” Wanda tells you as she places her hand on your thigh. I swallow the food in my mouth before replying. “I’m just excited to go to the movies.”
“We can see that but we don’t need you choking or getting sick.” Nat chuckles as she finishes off her fries. “We promise to take you to more movies ok sweetheart.” Wanda adds. “Yes please.” You smile while taking another bite of cheeseburger.
Tumblr media
You all went to the movie which you enjoyed so much. It doesn’t matter which movie you see you will always enjoy watching them. After the movies Nat and Wanda took you to the mall to let you look around and shop, buying you anything that you wanted. You didn’t get much. You did get some new games for your switch but now you have everything you have ever wanted. You don’t need a lot of things to keep you happy.
For the last stop of the day they didn’t tell you where they were taking you. They told you it was going to be a surprise. As you pull up to the store your eyes widen. You aren't normally the one to go to these stores, they always pick out things and bring them home so you're nervous.
“A sex store?” You question as you all climb out of the car. “You’ve been such a good girl for us today we wanted to reward you.” Natasha husked before grabbing your hand and leading you towards the door. “Pick something you want to try. Me and Wanda will also go find some things to try.”
Once you are in the store you all go you separate ways in the store. You start to look around and you aren't sure what you are really looking for. So you wander aimlessly through the store. Until you stop at the wall that has something you have never tried but could be fun. As long as you get to go out more. On the wall in front of you are remote control vibrators.
“Oh sweetheart you want us to play with you without even touching you.” Wanda husks in your ear as she comes up behind you. “Tease you and have you begging for release even in public.” She bites your earlobe as she pulls back and lets it snaps back.
You can’t even think of forming words so you just nod your head thinking of how hot that would be. Wanda chuckles as she looks over the wall. She goes to grab one and pulls it down looking over the box.
“This one I have heard good things about. Great for anywhere.” Wanda turns to you. “What do you think?” She hands you the box. You look at it for a few seconds before looking back into her piercing green eyes. “Yes.” Wanda takes it from you with a smile on her face as she leads you to find Nat. Once you find her and start walking towards her you can see her studying us. Her brow raises when she notices what’s in Wanda's hand.
“Pick that all by yourself?” Nat husks out. “Not exactly. I had some help.” You say shyly wanting to cover your face as the blush creeps on your face. “I can’t wait to use it on you.” Nat moves closer to where only you and Wanda can hear her. You move to bury your face in the crook of Wanda’s neck in embarrassment. These two still make you feel anxious and flustered around them.
“Don’t hide from us detka.” Wanda pulls your from her neck and smiles. “We just want to make you happy.” You nod your head in understanding as Nat takes your hand and laces her fingers with yours. Nat moves her other hand behind her back not letting you see what she has picked out.
“Why don’t we go check out and go home?” Nat asks as she leads you to the check out. Wanda places the box on the counter. You quickly look away embarrassed and also knowing Nat is trying to hide what she got for you also. Wanda starts to pull you outside and to the car. This time joining you in the back seat.
Not long after Nat comes back to the car and gets in the driver seat. Noticing that Wanda has now joined you in the backseat so she sets the bag in the passenger seat. “I think for being such a good girl lately we will take you home and try out some of these new toys we got.” Nat husked out from the front seat as she started the car and started driving home. Wanda’s lips are instantly your neck sucking a spot. You let out a small moan at the action. Wanting more than anything to be home in the moment.
Tumblr media
Nat drove home as fast as possible while Wanda littered your neck with marks. As soon as the car turned off you pulled Wanda out of the backseat with you and made quick movements into the house. Nat was not far behind you carrying the new toys with her. Once you are all in your room you stop.
“Strip!” Nat demands. “By the time we get back I want to see you naked and ready for us on the bed.” She pulls Wanda towards the bathroom. You take no time stripping all of your clothes off and throwing them on the ground. You make your way to the bed crawling into the center of the bed already feeling your wetness smearing onto your thighs in ainticipation.
Wanda and Nat stepped out of the bathroom wearing nothing other than a strap on their waist. You can’t help the gasp that leaves your lips looking at them. You can tell that both their straps are new, larger than the others. Assuming Nat picked out both of them while at the store.
Looking at how beautiful they are it starts to make me feel more self conscious. You look down to see the long scar that is on your stomach with a large round scar next to it where the bullet entered. You start to move your hands to cover yourself but you're quickly stopped. The bed dipping on either side of you.
“Detka don’t hide from us.” Wanda grabs your hands, pulling them away from your body. “But you two are so incredibly gorgeous and then there is me who is scared and ugly.” You say not be able to look at either of them in the eye.
A finger loops under your chin forcing you to look up at a pair of green eyes. “You are not ugly. That scar means you survived and we love you and find you perfect.” Nat says with a soft smile. Wanda places soft kisses along the scar to show that it means nothing to her. “Lay back detka, we are going to show you a good night.”
You lay back as Nat climbs off the bed and goes to the bottom drawer of the dresser. She pulls out some red silk as she comes back over to the bed, your eyes never leaving her form. You extend out your arms knowing what Nat wants to do. She ties your wrists to the headboard and then your ankles to the end of the bed. Leaving you spread out for the both of them.
“Look at our pretty baby ready for the taking.” Wanda purred, moving to your upper half, kissing you harshly. As you and Wanda make out, Wanda’s fake cock brushing against your hip. You feel Nat placing kissing between the valley of your breast working her way down your stomach. Getting closer and closer to where you want her most.
“Please.” You beg when Wanda pulls away for air. Her lips moving down your jaw and to your neck. “Please what detka?” Nat husks out from below. “I want you to fuck me.” You say between some moans as you feel Nat's fingers swiping through your folds. Nat coats her fingers in your arousal and slowly circles your clit before moving her fingers down. She pushes a finger past your entrance, setting a slow pace. Wanda’s mouth moving down and sucking a nipple into her mouth. Your body arching into her touch.
Nat adds another finger setting a faster pace as she moves her lips to suck on your clit. “Oh fuck!” You moan out. You can feel Nat smirk against your clit as she adds another finger stretching you out and bringing you closer and closer to the edge. But as soon as your walls begin to flutter around her fingers she slows her pace before pulling out completely. A whine leaving your lips at the loss of contact. Wanda having pulled back too.
“I’m not done with you yet.” Nat husks sitting up and getting herself positioned between your legs. You can feel the head of her cock brushing through your folds as she coats it in your juices. Every time the head of the cock touches your clit it sends shock waves through your body making your back arch. Nat moves the cock to your waiting hole and slowly pushes the head of the cock into you. You can feel the stretch, this being the largest strap you have ever taken. A moan ripped from your throat as Nat pushes in deeper bottoming out. From there she sets a fast pace pounding into you. Moan after moan leaving your lips as her hands were on your waist sure enough leaving bruises in their place.
Wanda at the same time has her hands playing with your nipples. Pinching and rolling them between her fingers. “Fuck detka your taking my cock so well.” Nat pants out. “These cocks that me and Wanda have are special. They have their own cum reservoir. We can one day use them to fuck a baby into you. You want that whore. You want your mommies to fuck a baby into you.” She taunts spreading your legs out a bit more and raising your hips up just a bit to hit a new angel.
“Fuck, yes Mommy.” You stutter out between moans. “Fuck a baby in me.” You can feel your orgasm quickly approaching with the pace that Nat has set fucking into you. “Mm, going to, to cum.” You mumble out. “Is my poor dumb baby about to cum?” Nat coos. “F-fuck, y-yes.” You stuttered out.
“Then cum for Mommy.” Nat says with a powerful thrust. With that thrust you cum hard around Natasha’s cock. Her hand moving to the side and releasing the fake cum into you. She continues to fuck the cum further into you as she helps you ride out your high. As you come down Nat slowly pulls out of you. And Wanda removing her hands.
Wanda unties your wrist as Nat undoes your ankles freeing you from the restraints on the bed. “Hands and knees detka.” Wanda demands as she moves away. You quickly get into the position as Wanda comes up behind you. You hear the distinctive crack of a lube bottle being open so you peer back at Wanda. Your thighs coated in your arousal knowing that you don’t need any of that for her to take you unless. That is when you spot the smaller toy in her hands.
“I’m going to fuck you from behind but I’m going to get you ready to take the both of us.” Wanda smirks at your wide eyes. Knowing it has been a long time since you took the both of them.
You watch with a strained neck as Wanda lubes up the vibrating toy before you watch her fingers move down placing the cold lube around your tight hole. The cold feeling making you jump a bit and Wanda to chuckle. Once she is satisfied she hands the bottle to Nat and moves to slowly start pushing in the smaller toy. You can feel the vibrations causing you to moan out as she slowly stretches your other hole. Once she had pushed it to the flared bottom she left it there. The vibrations giving you another form of stimulation.
“Good girl.” Wanda coos. Wanda started to rub the head of her cock into your folds covering it in my juices before she moved to your entrance. She quickly bottomed out in one trust. “Fuck!” You moan out.
Wanda wasted no time setting a quick pace. One hand on your hip as the other snaked around your front and down to your clit rubbing circles. Her pace was unrelenting as skin was smacking skin. The sounds coming from the both of your bodies were filling the room.
“God you're such a whore for us. You just love taking our cocks. You love it when we fill you up. Can’t wait to fuck a baby into you.” Wanda panted as she pounded harder into you. “Yes mommy. Feels so good.” Your arms give out as your face falls into the pillow below.
Still sensitive from your last orgasm, this one is building fast. You can feel it and you know Wanda can tell too. Her hand on your hip moves up coming around your throat as she pulls your body flush against hers. Her hand squeezing just the right amount. Catching a moan and stopping it from coming out.
“M-Mommy please. Wanna cum for you.” You choke out. Wanda chuckles. “Cum on mommies cock.” Those words sent you over the edge as a powerful orgasm goes through your whole body. Wanda shooting her load into you to join the one from Nat. If Wanda wasn’t holding you up you definitely would have collapsed on the bed. Your whole body shakes with aftershocks of your orgasm. Wanda slowly pumps in and out of you before slowly pulling out. Guiding your body down to the bed. The vibrations from the toy are still being felt.
Wanda moves your body down as she goes to sit at the headboard. “Come here sweetheart you're going to ride my cock while Nat takes your from behind.” Nat helps you up and guides you towards Wanda.  “No more Mommy.” You whimper out already so sensitive from the other two orgasms you had.
“Oh detka you can give us one more can’t you. Don’t you want to be our good girl?” Nat coos rubbing your shoulders as she guides you down onto Wanda’s cock. “Okay.” You mumble out.
You sink down on Wanda’s cock your body feeling heavy as you lean into the crook of Wanda’s neck. Nat gets behind you and you can feel her tug onto the toy filling your ass. She pulls it out and a moan rips from your throat from the action. You hear the opening of the lube bottle again as Nat covers her cock in lube.
Once done with that Nat places it to the side and you feel the head of the cock probing at your other hole. You gasp as you feel the head of the cock pushing in. Nat slowly pushes in letting you get used to the feeling. Some pushes causing your body to arch and feeling Wanda already filling you full.
Nat finally bottoms out both of them waiting for you to give them a signal to move. “S-So fucking full.” You say leaning into Wanda. “P-Please move.” With that they both start a pace and pattern. When one pulls out the other pushes in. They set a pretty fast pace of this. Moans of their names falling from your lips as they bring you closer to the edge. You're glad that you are wedged between them because you know you would have collapsed.
“Look at our whore taking us both so well.” Nat said as she pounds into your ass. “So beautiful and perfect. Our cock whore loves to take both of us.” Wanda adds her hips thrusting up into you. “Only for you Mommies. Please.” You manage to moan out as you feel your third orgasm approaching.
“Please what detka?” Nat husked, moving impossibly closer to you, her hips snapping roughly into your ass. Words are becoming harder as your head feels fuzzy from all the stimulation. ”F-Fuck …. Going to, to cum.” You finally were able to get out.
“Hold it just a bit longer.” Wanda tells you. You can feel their trust getting sloppier as they continue to pound into you. The harnesses brushing against their sensitive nerves perfectly. “Please.” You pause. “Can’t hold it.” You can feel tears in your eyes. “Cum with us.” Nat husks biting down on your shoulder.
You bite down on Wanda’s shoulder as you cum harder than you have ever cum before. Both of them shooting their loads into both holes. Your vision goes black as your eyes roll to the back of your head. Your toes curling as you scream out soaking Wanda’s thigh and the sheets below from how powerful your orgasm is. Wanda and Nat coming along with you but a lot less powerful. Your body goes limp on Wanda, resting your head in the crook of her neck.
“Holy shit.” Wanda says, wrapping her arms around you. “Did she just?” Nat questioned. “Yes, she just squirted.” Wanda confirmed. “Mm sorry.” You mumble out from exhaustion. “Oh detka don’t be sorry about that. Matter of fact we would love to see you do it again.” Wanda says, moving your face to look at hers. “No more.” You plead. “We’re done tonight. You were such a good girl for us tonight.” Nat kissed your shoulder as she slowly pulls out.
You whimper at the feeling. Your body feeling hypersensitive. Once Nat has finished pulling out she helps lift you off of Wanda slowly. You whimper as your body tries to curl up. “Come on detka, let's get you cleaned up.” Nat says lifting you into her arms and taking you into the bathroom.
Nat set you down on the toilet making sure you go while she gets a warm bath ready. Wanda changed the bed before joining you in the bathroom. You were just about to fall asleep when you felt hands cupping your cheeks.
“Hi.” Wanda whispered with a smile on her face. “Hi.” You mumble with a hoarse voice now after the events of tonight. “Let’s get you a bath then we can go to bed.” Wanda smiled at you. You nod your head as you held out your arms. Wanda chuckled as she let you wrap your arms around her and she carried you to the tub. Wanda climbs in and sits down gently moving you in between her legs. Nat gets in front of you, a smile on her face. Wanda and Nat help clean you up and wash your hair. You lean into Wanda as you start to drift off again.
“Alright come on detka. Let's get you out of this water and dried off then bed.” Nat said. You turn and give her grabby hands as she lifts you up and out of the tub. Wanda gets out and has a fluffy towel ready to dry you off as Nat dries your hair. Wanda dresses you in one of her oversized shirts and a pair of underwear knowing you’ll probably get hot. Once the other two get dressed, Nat carries you into the bedroom and places you on the bed. Wanda gets on your left and you snuggle into her chest as Nat gets in behind you. She cuddles up to your back as your eyes flutter close.
“I love you.” You mumble out as you start drift off to sleep. “We love you too.” Wanda says, placing a kiss on your forehead, Nat placing one on your shoulder.
You now have everything you wanted.

Whoopsie King Rhoam’s a dick but I gotta flesh him out so
Tumblr media
Read Part 1 here!
Part 2
If you’re on mobile, and tumblr hates this post, follow along on this google doc!
Rules/overview this rewrite in the beginning of Part 1
‘sup ya beautiful bastards it’s time to gush about the process of storytelling and writing as we fix up the fix it fic so let’s just jump into it
- - - - - - - - - -
A quick recap of Part 2, and I swear this recap is faster than the recap last time: Chapter 3 of Age of Calamity opens with a more substantial scene the beginning points of Revali’s character, and contrasting the old position that Link and eggbot have, so that their later changes in this chapter (well, at least for Link in this chapter) are more pronounced. We edited a bit of the dialogue to make Revali’s intentions make a bit more sense, while also putting some little foreshadowing points with some camera tricks for the Hollow Champions. The Hollow Champions can now speak, which means their potential for being used to bring out the flaws or bitter aspects of each character is more readily available further into the story. And of course, we’ve introduced the main antagonist of Astor, and coupling his presence and dynamic with Zelda’s insecurities. While his intentions of needing Zelda for something is clear, his motivations and backstory remain a mystery as of yet, the only true clue we have so far being some sort of connection to eggbot.
I didn’t get any big asks or comments about Part 2 so I’m going to assume that it was mostly well received (although I will note that I promise I’m going to flesh out Revali to be more than he has been presented as of yet, this is just the very very start of this development don’t you worry your feather loving butts) that being said, you should totally critique me or give me your opinions or comments. I’d love to hear them! Although, keep in mind that I am restraining my rewrite to the guidelines already said, so don’t get mad at me for not killing off all the Champions or something. Thaaat’s a rewrite for another time. So yeah if you reblog you get a little kiss from me because believe it or not I spent a lot of time trying to rewrite an entire storyline while keeping it’s tone and integrity intact. So thanks much <3
Okie dokie then chaps! Let us finally delve into Urbosa lesbian vibes, a zest of Zelink angst, rants about pacing, and a couple tablespoons of Astor backstory, all starting in the latest stage of Chapter 3: The Road Home, Besieged
So right of the bat, big problem here. This Chapter follows directly after the events of Korok Forest, so you assume that maybe “The Road Home” refers to the team, going home, back to the castle, to tell King Rhoam what’s up. But...that’s apparently not the case.
Tumblr media
So this entire stage, firstly, it brushes over any scenes where Zelda, Link or the other Champions might talk to King Rhoam about the Master Sword, or the Deku Tree, or...hmm what else happened last stage that might be interesting to see—oh yEAH HOW ABOUT that mysterious magic guy that tried to kill Zelda and was going off about the future and stuff?? That guy that wielded a bunch of dark magic and malice looking stuff and, uh yeah, you’d think it might be important and interesting to see the King’s take on was is essentially a wanted traitor to the crown who may or may not be leading the entire movement for the Calamity’s uprising. But nope, no one asks questions, no one says anything or has interesting conversations that reveal stuff about the plot. It's just….just all about Zelda and ooooOOooo she can’t awaken her powers oh no what’s a gal to do!
And I do mean that quite literally, this entire stage is all centered around two scenes with Zelda. The first, an admittedly narratively important scene of Zelda having a quick flashback about eggbot after he sings her a song, but it lasts for five seconds. And the second, being a pep talk with Urbosa as Link eats rocks in the background. For the majority of this stage, it’s all focused on Zelda, and pacing wise, it does virtually nothing to progress the narrative/plot forward.
And on paper, there’s nothing wrong with that! Hell, people read entire fanfictions dedicated to character development and relationships that have absolutely no external plot. Having a scene dedicated to just character development is completely fine, it’s something that’s pretty common and even encouraged to an extent. The problem arises when you remember that this is a story being told through the medium of a video game.
Now, I am going to try and  breeze by this because, similar to Age of Calamity, I have to also construct this post with pacing that keeps my audience engaged, while progressing with my core narrative and story. But I highly encourage you to watch through this video by hello future me (On Writing: How to Master Pacing) because a lot of what I know about this I’ve picked up from his videos, and if you’re a writer or just someone who thinks storytelling is cool, it’s a great guide to the art of pacing.
youtube
Anyhow. There are two levels of pacing within a story. There is the small type of pacing, like for the structure of a singular scene. And there is the pacing of the overall core narrative, how the larger beats of the entire story is revealed. Good pacing for your core narrative is about whether the reader feels like they are getting closer to the big thing, the big climax or answer or promise of satisfaction. The smaller type of pacing, for your singular scenes, focuses on that timing between how close you get to achieving new information, this refers to  your slow and fast pacing, tension versus rapid action.
So, overall the rule of thumb is: the amount of time you invest into your smaller scenes, even put together, that must correlate with a big enough payoff in the core narrative. That’s what good pacing is. (And that’s why people make stuff like the Three Act Structure to help visualize this pacing process but obviously other forms of pacing guidelines exist like the Five and Seven Act Structures but that’s too complicated for this Nintendo Game anyhow that’s just some educational flavour for ya to impress your highschool English Teacher I guess)
So knowing that, the question now is: Does The Road Home, Besieged contribute good pacing to the story? This is going to be my excuse for changing up other later scenes in the game, so when I mention pacing and narrative again, remember this. The time spent playing for thirty minutes, minimum, in the game, to only be paid off by two lines of character development isn’t good pacing. So the answer is “no.”
Delving as long an amount of time as thirty minutes, means that pretty much everytime a stage is complete, you must introduce new substantial progress to your story. A game like this just doesn’t have time to waste it’s valuable cutscenes on character development alone. There’s an even further wrench in the issue when you consider you also need to account for sidequests, so you could really be forcing your player to go through hours of gametime before you introduce new details in the story.
Obviously it’s not always gonna be cut and dry like that—sometimes you have to account for how enjoyable the gameplay is, and sometimes the amount of character development offsets any lack of narrative development—but for the majority of stages I’m gonna change, they all suffer this pacing problem. In a game that's entire story hinges on these cutscenes, bad pacing is just something it doesn’t have time for.
Anyhow anyhow anyhow, I got to get my dose of serotonin by talking about pacing writing structure and stuff and blah blah, so now I shall grace you with the changes that address these problems that would theoretically lead to vast improvement. I gave you this reasoning and backstory to writing because I am making hella changes, to hopefully make the experience more “poggers,” which is something the cool kids say these days if you didn’t know.
Firstly, timeline wise this stage is gonna take place directly after the Korok Forest battle. The gang is returning home from the battle, with Link, the new wielder of the Master Sword, along with this new information regarding a certain Astor character.
We open the same way it does in game, focusing on Zelda’s face, before the frame is suddenly blocked by the pommel of the Master Sword. A wordless way to express how the sudden revelation of Link being the hero has forced its way into Zelda’s mind, great use of camera Koei Tecmo 10 outta 10
Tumblr media
Now I don’t want to immediately jump into Zelda’s “oh poor me I can’t awaken my powers” dialogue because—and this is something even Breath of the Wild is guilty of—This game seems to forget that there are other characters besides Zelda. It’s marketed towards kids, sure, but I assure you that kids playing this game have a longer attention span than 2 minutes. You don’t need to keep reminding the audience every single scene about how Zelda is anxious about her powers. It gets redundant, you waste the audience’s time, and therefore you waste your own time, because you could have been using that precious screen time to develop some other thing further.  So anyhow, goes a bit like this.
Zelda’s walking, the Master Sword comes into frame. Zelda looks down at the ground but keeps walking, but you can tell from her expression that she’s troubled. Don’t need to waste time on dialogue for her here, show don’t tell, we need to make the most of the scene here. Camera is still on Zelda, but the focus blurs shifts from Zelda to the Champions behind her. We can start with Mipha, I don’t have my heart set heavily on any specific dialogue, but I want her to say something along the lines of “how proud she is of Link” and what an honor it will be to fight by the side of not just her dear friend, but also someone selected by the goddess to be the hero. Subtextually, I want her to say this in a tone that suggests that she doubts the need for her to be here at all. She’ll say something like “He’s grown so…” glances up at Link who's just walking ahead, “...so much stronger than I could ever imagine. [Something Something] His power has grown so much over the course of a few days, more than I have achieved in a lifetime.” She looks down, but she still has a sweet smile.
Now I’m doing this because I want to develop further this plot line of “getting stronger” that Age of Calamity sets up but never does anything with. Remember how in Chapter 2, Mipha asks Daruk to train with her to get stronger? I really like the possibilities of this arc with Mipha as it can not only parallel with her feelings for Link, but also make her character better as an individual. Mipha wants to get stronger so that she can protect Link, but now she thinks that Link’s already growing stronger to an extent that she might not be needed. She’s not jealous of Link, nor does she wish him to be weaker, she simply wants to be more than she already is. This is literally echoing her words that she left her father, about how leaving the Domain and experiencing new challenges would be “good for her.” So I wanna run with it. The dialogue here establishes Mipha’s motivation to grow stronger, almost equivalent to a rivalry of sorts.
So after Mipha says this, Revali scoffs and butts in. Again, I’m not too set on any particular dialogue here, just something like “Hmph! Well, I don’t know about that. Seems to me all that’s happened is some magic sword gave the knight an ego boost. Blade’s only as strong as the little Hylian who wields it, and—based on my own extended experience and professional observations of course—I’ve yet to see this ‘stronger’ boy that you speak of.” Another camera pan to Link a ways in front of them. “If you ask me, hero or no, that knight is still exactly the same as I first met him.”
Revali places a wing on his chest dramatically. “Perhaps if you’re truly keen on seeing growth in skill and strength, Mipha, you’d do well to—”
“Flattering of an offer as that may be, Revali,” Urbosa interjects, “But I think Mipha might find it difficult to observe growth from one of the shortest Rito in Hyrule.”
Cue laughter from others or snickering or something. We just need some banter to add a bit more flavour to the characters. Revali can do a little huff and cross his wings or flip his scarf or something. But then Urbosa continues.
“Although...he is right about one thing.” Urbosa looks straight ahead. “A sword does not alter a hand, just as strength does not alter character.” She puts a hand on Mipha’s shoulder. “Grow as he might, there is no doubt in my mind that he is the same boy as he’s always been.” Urbosa looks up in the direction of Zelda. “Whether you realize it or not.”
Ok so, scene’s not done yet, BUT quick gush on the dialogue flow here. I’m trying to establish parallels in these character perspectives based on the flow of conversation. We started with Mipha who, like I said, wished to grow stronger along with Link. This flows into Revali who also has a similar parallel as he wishes to grow above Link’s shadow. But the distinction between Mipha and Revali is that Mipha think’s Link’s strength is earned, and Revali thinks he cheated, gaining authority through a magic sword, and not through merit and skill. Thus, leading to Revali’s perspective of Link being exactly the same as he’s always been, he believes the sword doesn’t change anything. Urbosa then speaks, because she thinks exactly the same thing. However, her distinction is that Link is the same as he’s always been: a determined young boy earned his place and cares for his friends. Then she looks to Zelda who, as we know, will develop a perspective that contradicts this. So you get it? This scene is like 20 seconds long but it already mirrors nearly all the character parallels and perspective, that’s why the flow of dialogue is important. And I know half of you probably think these kinds of details are a stretch but I promise you it’s not, just look at any movie or show ever and I guarantee you can find similar stuff there too. Ok moving on moving on—
Urbosa looks up at Zelda, comments her, “He’s the same boy, whether you realize it or not” piece of dialogue. Camera shifts back to Zelda and Link, who, idk if I mentioned this, but in the scene there’s enough distance between the Champions and Zelda and Link that the Champions can speak without the other two listening. So they didn’t hear any of this.
Tumblr media
So the camera is back on Zelda, and now we can get her “How can I…..If I am unable to awaken my inner power….” line. Eggbot senses her sadness, does his little cheer up dance, Zelda gets a flashback.
One small change I wanna make to this flashback: Instead of just a baby Zelda going “nighty-night” I want there to ALSO be a figure in the background behind eggbot wearing a silk royal blue dress. And said woman has blonde hair and she’s by the table back there. We don’t have to show her face or anything because Nintendo hates that. Just place the woman somewhere in the back somewhere
Tumblr media
Also possibly you could add the shadow of another figure by the doorway, maybe? It would serve good continuity purposes for the plot points that I’m telling, but that part is not as necessary. I just need at least the woman there.
Then Zelda is like “I remember you” to eggbot and all that and blah blah… Now, instead of Impa offscreen just yelling “enemy ahead!” I just want it to be a full on ambush. Not like a major one, but just enough where the group is surprised a bit. Maybe on the cliffs above, a lizalfo throws a boomerang, or a bokoblin shoots and arrow, or even just throws a rock. I don’t really care. I just need this to happen because…
As soon as this danger is presented, Link turns around to grab Zelda’s hand and they start running again. And he can like use his body to try and shield her a bit, I need it to parallel how he acted during Chapter 1 on the road to the Royal Tech Lab. However, this parallel has one important distinction because…
Zelda rips he grip from Link’s after a moment. “You don’t need to coddle me!” She says, or something along those lines. “Y-You...You’re the hero aren’t you! I’m perfectly fine, you don’t need to spend your precious time playing babysitter to me.” In the distance, a horde of monsters is beginning to form. Zelda looks between the monsters and Link’s Master Sword, her expression unreadable. “Well? Just...just go do what you need to do.” Link hesitates, looking between her, and the approaching monsters. Zelda speaks more sternly now, “Go!” So Link, not one to disregard an order from the Princess, gives one last look to Zelda before setting off towards the monsters. Maybe Zelda can take a deep breath to steady herself after he leaves, but as soon as Link unsheathes his sword, the metal glistening in the setting sunlight, it cuts immediately to gameplay. Start battle.
For essays’ purposes this is the part where I explain why this is better than the original. So here’s my reasoning:
Uhhh, it just is. :3
Ok but seriously, I’ve already talked a tone about why the pacing and dialogue flow is better than the original. But also this scene doesn’t just say “Ooo Zelda is sad about her powers,” because that’s not interesting. Like I said, it’s redundant information. What is interesting is see how characters deal with that internal conflict and how it affects their relationships. AKA Zelda’s relationship with Link, who now basically embodies the success that she’s been working so hard towards but never achieved, is deteriorating a bit. I wanted to get that sense of the Zelda that we see in Breath of the Wild because all things considered, they should be roughly the same character.
So that’s that, you fight the battle, the Hollows show up a bit, so insert “dark evil Champion” dialogue because if you’re gonna use the evil clone trope might as well use it to the fullest. Then you fight the Talus and hurray horrah the day is saved.
Then we have that iconic Urbosa motherly pep talk to Zelda as Link eats rocks in the background. Now honestly, I’m not that big a fan of the first half of the dialogue, so I wanna change it into something more interesting. But the rest of the beats and camera work go roughly the same.
Zelda: “Link is...so much stronger now”
Urbosa: “‘And yet I have not.’ I presume that’s what you’re thinking, hmm?”
Zelda: “Well it’s true, isn’t it? More and more, monsters have been appearing around Hyrule. It is a sign that the Calamity draws near. So...there isn’t much time. And still, no sign of my power awakening.”
Urbosa: *sighs* “Little bird…”
Zelda cuts her off, in an attempt to change topics: “Why do you call me that?”
Urbosa: “Hmm?”
Zelda: “Little bird...I feel like I’ve heard it before. Why do you call me that?”
Urbosa, after a beat looks off in the distance or something: “A long time ago, my dear friend would call me to the palace, or perhaps invite herself over to mine, [she chuckles] ...and she would talk with me all day, and ask me to gaze upon her little bird with her. Her dearest daughter...a princess”
Zelda: “You mean my…”
Urbosa just smiles with a soft nod: “Back then, times were a bit different. The destiny that you have was still upon the Queen, who worked day and night to refine her powers and fulfill her destiny. In just a few short years, I went from being friends with a Queen, to friends with the destined sealer of the Calamity.”
Another pause, before Urbosa speaks again: “But...she was still the same woman I had grown with. Still the same loving mother who spoke about her little bird with joy. She had not changed one bit.”
Urbosa: “Even when your mother passed, her loving smile was there until the very end. She always loved you—believed in you, Zelda. She had great hope, great faith that her daughter would grow into the beacon of light Hyrule needed. That even with her gone, you would spread your wings and fly, because you were just that amazing to her.” *Urbosa puts her hands on Zelda’s shoulders.*
Urbosa: “Destiny did not change your mother’s love, just as it does not change Link’s courage, or your value.” *the camera can pan to Link eating rocks now*
Urbosa looks directly at Zelda now: “Look how hard we’ve all worked to get this far, how hard you have worked to get here. While we may grow in strength, in that regard, we’re all one in the same.”
Zelda: “...I….well…”
Urbosa: “What did the Great Deku Tree say? There is no need to fret princess.”
Urbosa: “Our faith, Link’s, your mother’s, it’s all as strong as ever. And everyday, with every moment that you travel towards your destiny, it just grows. It is always with us. So believe in that, have hope, yet, little bird.” *Eggbot can scurry up and make cute noises here next to Zelda*
Urbosa: “I know, you are where you need to be. You must accept that too.”
Zelda: “...”
Zelda gives a solemn nod: “Thank you, Urbosa.”
Tumblr media
So that’s that scene! Don’t let the length fool you, it’s technically even shorter than the original scene in Age of Calamity. So why is it, in my opinion, better? Because for one, we actually get an insight into Zelda’s mom and Urbosa’s relationship, something that was PROMISED To us but never given and I’m still a bit salty about it. Anyhow, in addition to just getting some lore details, that relationship between the Queen and Urbosa is important for this scene because, just like Urbosa spells out, it’s in direct parallel with Link and Zelda.
Before the Queen suddenly got sick and died, she was destined to seal the Calamity. But she didn’t let that destiny change her, she was still the same loving mother to the end. Now that is something that Zelda needs to realize about Link, as his newly acquired destiny doesn’t change who he was before, the knight who cares for her and wishes to protect her. Zelda needs to realize he’s the same and that she can still trust and confide in him. Hence, that’s why this mom backstory is in this scene and not somewhere else, because it serves to the narrative but also more impactfully to the character development.
The dialogue could probably be polished a bit more but come on, not half bad for an improvement yeah? So that concludes Chapter—
SIKE we’re not done yet. We still have to move into the entire point of this stage, the road home, to the castle.
So, badabing badaboom, I’m adding an entirely new scene from scratch right here at the end, because it is VITAL that I set up something new about the story, as a sort of clincher. So anyhow
Zelda is alone with her father, let’s set it in the royal library (Intact, not ruined, of course) because we don’t see enough of that location and it’s really cool. So Zelda is briefing her dad about the events in Korok Forest and on the journey back home. I know I always gush about cinematography but it can’t be fully appreciated since I’m….writing,,, this, BUT I think it might be fun if the side shots of Zelda have her background be some bookcases of the library, maybe half bookcases and the other half the ornate walls. Then the background for the King’s shots is the full symmetry of the elegant staircases.
Tumblr media
[And if you needed the specific reasoning for that, because it makes camera shots more fun. Like when Zelda says something that aids in her scholarly side, the camera angle can change slightly where the bookcases take up more of the frame, and then when the King’s will takes more power, then the book cases can be angled a bit more out of frame. And then the symmetry of the King by the staircase is a way to show his higher power dynamic to her, and contrasts well with Zelda’s shots since the bookcases are dark and the stone is lighter, so on a meta level is also makes it easier for the audience to understand where they are. Shot composition is fun ok, and that’s not even getting into color theory (Thinks about Baby Driver and LaLaLand....even videogames like Undertale and Hollow Knight have such wonderful shot composition and use of color theory hhhhh love it)]
Ok so Zelda’s briefing the King in the library, she’s standing while he’s sitting at a desk. There’s maybe two or four Royal Guards on the staircase entrances, but for the most part, they’re alone. You can tell that this meeting between them has been going on for a bit now, as from Zelda’s dialogue, she’s retelling events midway through the story.
The King is flipping through some paperwork, not really looking Zelda in the eyes. She continues speaking.
“And so...with the malice cleared and the monsters being dealt with, Link and I made our way into the heart of Korok Forest.”
The King hums a response, flipping through another page. “And this is when Link pulled out the Sword that Seals the Darkness then, I presume.”
Zelda paused, as of thinking of how to phrase her next words. “Not exactly. I...we both encountered someone beforehand. A man, with a pale face, and dark hair and robes, and he had the power to control malice, using a strange object in one of his hands.”
Rhoam stops writing in his journal or whatever. He doesn’t look up, but the sudden stop he makes is obvious. Zelda notices, but continues.
“He talked about...the Calamity, and my birthday...destiny, and the future….I’m not quite sure I can remember his intentions word for word. But he did introduce himself as—“
“Astor…” Zelda and the King say simultaneously. The King has fully perked up now, looking at Zelda. She’s pleased to see a reaction from him. The King rises from his chair, and starts pacing a bit, stroking his beard thoughtfully like the asshole he is.
“So you know him then? This Astor man? Who is he, father? What does he—“
“Were you alright? Did he hurt you, or mention anything else?”
Zelda pauses for a moment before shaking her head, as if the concern he was expressing was uncharacteristic. “N-No. No, I’m fine, and Link was there. During the battle, as Link fought him off, that was when the sword was pulled. Then Astor fled, or...” Zelda pauses for a beat, “retreated...he expressed his wish to speak with me again.”
Another beat of silence, as Rhoam gets up, hands clasped behind his back. “He used to work at this very palace.” The shot is now directly on Rhoams back, as he faces a bookcase, although it’s clear that he’s just deep in thought, and not just staring at books. Rhoam is in third column of the shot (he’s to the right, not in the center)
“A trusted advisor. Someone gifted with foresight, who many years ago, had first predicted the coming Calamity.” Cut to shot of Rhoams face, the camera being by the bookcase, so that we see Rhoam’s expression and Zelda’s.
“In truth, I thought him dead. For the last time I saw him alive—truly, truly alive—was ten long years ago...” The shot goes back to the original establishing shot, of Rhoam facing away from the camera, towards the bookcase, he’s standing to the right, hands still clasped behind his back.
“...when your mother still graced this earth.”
From left frame, a younger Astor walks up and stands beside Rhoam. He runs his fingers along the books. Rhoam looks to his left, as if he is seeing Astor. Camera cuts to Astor’s right, as if looking at him from Rhoam’s perspective. He continues brushing his fingers against the spines of the books, before he finds the one he’s looking for. Pulling it out, he opens the book, flipping through its pages, before giving a genuine smile. Cut back to wide angle behind them. With the book, Astor starts walking back out left frame, but this time the camera follows him. Filter fade to a memory tint as the camera pans right to left
Tumblr media
[when the camera fades fully into the Astor memory, the figures can have that silhouetted effect like you see in botw. Cause I know Nintendo hates making new character models for some reason.]

So if it wasn’t clear already, even though the memory filter doesn’t come immediately, Astor isn’t actually there, but it’s just a flashback. I’m a sucker for merges, which is something this game and botw NEVER do which bugs me because there are so many creative ways you could introduce flashbacks without just doing “ooOooOoo fade to sepia filter and then oooOOooOOO we fade back to reality and no time has passed.” I apologize if my explanation of the camera doesn’t make sense as it’s hard without much visual aid, but hopefully it makes sense so far. Anyhow! Let’s continue.
We’re now fully immersed in this memory, but King Rhoam’s voice still narrates overhead.
Astor brings the book to one of the desks in the library, where a woman sits writing something onto paper. News flash, it’s the queen. Astor hands her the book and starts speaking about something, although you can tell the tone of their conversation is light, almost akin to Zelda rambling about Sheikah Technology. The Queen laughs about something unheard, as Astor continues ranting about something, his hands moving to like a professor giving a lecture.
Rhoam Narration: “When he had first predicted the Calamity, things were much more hopefully for our kingdom. As although his foresight granted him only glimpses and fragments of a future, he was almost certain that with the Guardians, and the strength of your mother’s power, our victory would be absolute.”
Scene changes to the Queen walking down a corridor, Astor is leaning against the wall by a window.
Rhoam Narration: “He and your mother would often work together tirelessly to study the ancient arts, to make the most of the powers given by the goddess.”
The Queen has walked up to Astor now. She crouches down and gestures to her left, the side not yet seen by the camera.
Rhoam Narration: “In fact…”
The camera changes to focus to where the Queen was looking towards—a young Zelda, crouched behind her mother’s dress, stares up at Astor.
Rhoam Narration: “I would not be surprised if you found within yourself, a memory of such.”
I would prefer if you could see the expressions of Astor (giving Zelda not a smile, but not really a frown or anything rude either) and young Zelda. But I guess it can also just be silhouettes too cause again, Nintendo hates giving us younger character models outside of first person POV stuff. Anyhow.
The scene fades, the light from the window dimming as everything darkens.
Rhoam Narration: “I often times wish we could go back to such a time, when victory and pride swam in every corner of this castle.  But of course…”
The scene brightens again, although not as bright as before. It’s the exact same corridor with the large window, but now it’s raining. A young Zelda stands alone in front of it, looking outside.
Rhoam Narration: “Such a time did end…”
We now cut to a new scene, King Rhoam is walking down a hall, the camera’s perspective is of a bird’s eye view, like we’re peering in from outside a window. We can see the shadow of Astor chasing after him, as he starts speaking frantically about something, not quite, but almost to the point of shouts.
Rhoam Narration: “After your mother died, the visions of the future shifted drastically. No longer was there glimpses of rolling fields and shimmering skies, but instead, of rubble, red earth, and death.”
You can now more clearly hear the words coming out of Astor’s mouth. He is telling something about failure, and souls, and the Calamity to the King’s ear. He’s still walking forward.
Rhoam Narration: “He was adamant that our demise was now coming faster than ever, and that without your mother, we were doomed. That even you, should you take up your mother’s mantle, could not save everyone.”
Astor: “I’m telling you Your Majesty, if you go down this path, there is no going back.”
King Rhoam: “There is no other choice, we are moving forward.”
Astor: “I don’t think you quite understand the true gravity of the fate you’re choosing for yourself. It is a guarantee that you, me, and countless others shall die.”
King Rhoam: “I don’t want to hear it.”
Astor: “And of course, there are a multitude of possibilities, but the end result is the same.”
Astor: “Do you have a preference, perhaps? Crushed by rubble? Suffocation under ash?”
Rhoam’s tone is deadly: “Stop.”
Astor: “I’ve seen fire too. I’m not yet quite sure the exact circumstances that lead to flame appearing and spreading so quickly, but rest assured that if you—”
King Rhoam: “Stop.”
Astor: “If you saddle someone else with this duty I am absolutely certain that you and I will—”
King Rhoam, voice not shouting, but still with a booming intensity: “Just like you were so certain of our victory 10 years ago?”
Astor’s face darkens. He’s silent for a moment, collecting his words before practically spitting the first articulation: “...That, future, was the one that would come to be if Her Majesty was alive. If you’re so unsatisfied with my departed wisdom you can go ahead and flail around with destiny alone. You think I choose for these events to happen? You think I lie when I saw I want what’s best for this kingdom—”
King Rhoam: “What’s best for you.”
An ugly pause.
King Rhoam: “It is decided, Seer. It’s time you accept this. My wife is dead. That is the truth. Thus the role of sealing the Calamity shall pass to my daughter. She will work to awaken her own ability. It will be her duty to save us.”
Astor half laughs: “A child?! Surely you don’t need the supernatural to see how foolish that is.”
King Rhoam’s voice is even more stern: “You are living proof that the future is not absolute. Therefore I...must place all belief in her ability.”
The King walks away, leaving Astor alone. Weirdly, he smiles. Perhaps to mask some other emotion.
After another moment, Astor yells to the King: “I’ll fix this! Alone if I must!” He’s chuckling as he shakes his head. “Your useless faith may cost many lives, but even so mark my words, I will fix this.”
The King looks back, but says nothing, his expression unreadable. He continues forward, leaving Astor alone chuckling, or perhaps something in between chuckling and crying to himself.
Rhoam Narration: “We haven’t spoken since that day. I simply left him to his devices. If he was so determined to find another way to stop the Calamity, then who was I to stop him. I doubt my word could have swayed his mind regardless.
We’re now looking at a room, the camera is just by the doorway, looking at an office, circular and domed. It’s stone brick walls are covered in parchment and ripped books, covered in symbols and frantic writing. An old Sheikah tapestry hangs crudely on the left wall, and the window on the right seems to tint grey, or even a deepest crimson. Centerframe, is the back of Astor, robe hanging just above the paper ridden floor. He is flipping through something on his desk.
Rhoam Narration: “Fixated as he was on the perfect future that you mother might have led, I still had hope that with time, he might still assist you with your destiny one day.”
The camera slowly comes closer to Astor. We can see more clearly the type of stuff that sprawls the papers and books and diagrams across his office. Some depict stars and constellations, and even a few notes on Ancient Technology, although in a noticeably cleaner font. However, as the camera moves close and closer to Astor, the papers and books depict only one clear topic: the aura of death that comes only with necromancy.
Rhoam Narration: “It seems…”
Astor finally reacts to whatever he was doing on his desk. You don’t see his eyes, but as he fully turns around to face the camera, you see his smile, along with him holding a dark orb of unknown energy. It hovers in his hand.
Rhoam Narration: “...I was mistaken.”
The camera cuts to a wide angle, looking at Astor from behind a stack of books on his desk. The stack of books on Astor’s desk brighten in color (from the memory dull filter), until the scene fully fades back into the Royal Library. The camera is now focused on a similar stack of books on the desk behind Zelda, where Rhoam was working before.
Zelda is still looking at her father, who is still turned away. Now, he turns back around to face her.
“He had disappeared completely one day, so it was my understanding that whatever he was working on killed him. However, if he is truly back as you say…”
Rhoam walks closer to Zelda, close enough that he might have put a hand on her shoulder, but his arms stay behind his back.
“It is in your utmost interest to prove him wrong. I know not what he plans on doing, but it would be wise to stop him before he does.”
Rhoam turns away now, pacing back to the otherside of the desk. “But, your more important priority is unlocking your powers, understand? Now more than ever, is not the time to get distracted.”
Zelda, taking this all in, takes a deep breath. She then nods at him. “I understand...Father.”
After a moment, the King makes a motion as if to dismiss her. She starts to walk away, her thoughts churning in her head, heart thumping to the same beat as her echoing footsteps. Suddenly, Rhoam calls,
“Zelda.” It’s not a question, but the tone is asked like one.
She turns back, looking at him, expectantly. Rhoam only stares at her, an uncharacteristic moment of uncertainty for him. The words he wants to form seem stuck in his throat, until finally, he lets out a quiet breathe through his nose, before simply saying:
“You must.”
Zelda can only frown, her shoulder’s slumping slightly, as she ducks her head and leaves.
- - - - - -
And that’s that! That’s the complete end of Chapter 3. So tune in next time for Chapter 4, including a new slight but important story changes, Yiga husbands, and shocking turns of events.
Edit: I forgot that posts with link’s dont show up in tag results so a rb is appreciated :p

A friend asked me to give a stab at a Tierlist Maker for Video Games Not Yet In the Video Game Hall of Fame Tier List Maker, so here's my list for it!
This is based primarily on what I considered to be overall value to gaming history as a whole, with games with greater influence or impact ranking higher than those that had less impact on those to follow, or on culture. All the entries are those that have been nominated to the Hall of Fame, but not actually inducted as of this post's writing. Games that I personally like are generally rated higher, though mostly because I'm more familiar with them and thus can judge their impact from a personal POV.
(Tier List explainations, below!)
SHOULD BE IN ALREADY
Final Fantasy: I mean seriously. How is this one not already in yet?? It is not, as my research suggests, the first true RPG; that likely goes to games like Ultima. It is certainly an incredibly influential one; FF is a name closely associated with JRPGs in general, and its diverse class system is one of the strongest things to do with it, as noted by challenges like beating the game with a party of Black Belts. FF is THE name of RPGs in general and I'm startled it hasn't made it in, though I suppose that's owing to more notable entries (Hard as that is to imagine). It doesn't hurt that the majority of my favorite FF titles are those most similar to this one, such as FF6 and FF9, in terms of approaching the general world setting and class systems. Most significantly is that this game popularized RPGs and made them accessible, in ways that previous games such as Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest did not; the field of gaming would be VERY different without it; RPGs became VERY popular, to the extent of RPG elements being almost universal among other games in the modern day. (I am also pleased and amused to see 8-Bit Theater mentioned on the actual Wikipedia page. Now THAT'S notability!)
Sid Meir's Civilization: HEY NOW HALL OF FAME JUDGES, DON'T YOU BE MOCKING CIV, ALRIGHT. CIV IS FUCKING AWESOME. Okay, jokes aside, I'm genuinely astonished as the Civ series is considered the first true main game of the 4x series, and it shows; the entire genre centers around expansion, resource usage and diplomacying or conquering your enemies, and considering the impact of this game and its sheer popularity, to the extent of the meme of the game getting people to play for Just One More Turn, I'm a bit disappointed that it's not already in the hall of fame. I also note that I am personally more familiar with the spin off Alpha Centauri, a sci fi variant, which is still one of my all time favorite games.
Half-Life: Given this game's popularity, to the point of its release alone consigning the likes of Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines to cult classic status and its engine spawning a whole THING with GMod and the usage of physics mechanics in FPS games, one thing of note is its use of scripted sequences; at the time, an unknown in most games of the time. There may be something to be said for how the entire game is spent as Gordon Freeman, behind his eyes, possibly engendering a lack of separation between self and character that would be later emphasized in games like Bioshock. It's influence on games cannot be denied, with publications using it as a bookend between eras of gaming. One consistent element of what seems to make this game so distinctive is its approach to storytelling, without simply imitating film techniques which don't always work well with gameplay.
Candy Crush: This is an example of something I don't personally play myself, or even like very much, but I'd be remiss to dismiss it out of hand. There's no denial that phone games are one of, if not THE biggest market of games in the here in now; if now in scale, certainly in quantity. You might call it the TF2 Hat Economy theory; people aren't spending BIG bucks, but they are spending a LOT of little bucks all the time. It proves that highly accessible games that are generally free to play, with optional purchases, are a legitimate means of game business, and this certainly revolutionized how games were seen by the money-makers.
Super Smash Bros Melee: I loved this game as a kid, but truth be told i have a bit of a love-hate relationship; i REALLY dislike the competitive community that has fixated hard on this game, so any thoughts on it will have a slight element of pause beforehand. Even so, I can't forget the thrilled delight I felt watching the trailer for this game in supermarkets for the first time as a kid. at a time when getting any new games at all was a HUGE deal in my family. So, there is a lot of feeling behind this one! Ultimately, I have to concede that while i have complicated feelings about this game, its worth noting that the vast majority of things that made Smash iconic, and influenced the competitive scene AND the games inspired by Smash AND shaped the course of the series going forwards, largely owe themselves to Melee in particular. 64 was far more slow paced, while Melee began the trend towards much more fast paced action (and while I doubt it's SPECIFIC to melee as a whole, it may have been a trend for the genre from then). Melee is STILL widely played, especially on the competitive scene, and this sort of longevity always bears evidence of notability.
Goldeneye 007: I have to admit that despite being a kid in the 90s, despite someone who put most of their time into gaming, and despite being someone whose favorite system at the time was the Nintendo 64, I mostly missed out on the trend of history by honestly not being that much into this game. I have to say that I DID play it, however; I just never managed to get past the first level or so. I have strong memories of triyng and failing to sneak around a snowy lair of some description; it wouldn't be until the mid-2000s, playing Deus Ex Human Revolution, that I got the hang of stealth. All the same, personal indifference really doesn't matter much because HOLY SHIT THIS GAME HAS SOME STAYING POWER. IT HAS INFLUENCE, FRIENDORITOS. Perhaps chiefly, at the time it was made, consoles were not considered viable platforms for first person shooters; Goldeneye revised that notion, and created a whole revolution in multiplayer and shooter games. We would later see the ultimate consequence of this in games like Halo, which further revolutionized the whole genre. Ironically, the stealth attributes I was so bad at were part of what made the game so unique! It's one of those games that may not have aged well, by modern standards, but its import to gaming as a whole goes a long, long way.
Guitar Hero: I expect this one might be a bit hard to justify, but on its own, this game is INCREDIBLY innovative, though its not entirely the first of its kind, having mechanics based on earlier games. The very first entry has a respectable library of 30 songs, which is impressive considered at the time it was made, its not likely people expected it to get as far as it did; bear in mind that the massive libraries of later games were the result of years of this game series being a massive steamroller of a franchise! At the time, this one was an unknown. It has an interesting history as being a successor of sorts to an arcade exclusive, and inspiring a genre of imitators and spiritual successors on its own; of great note is the sheer impact this game had. With so many of those successors, the increased value of liscened soundtracks, and the way the game's concept became so influential, its astounding this one isn't already on the hall of fame. (It's also very fun, but fun alone doesn't make for memorability, sad to say.)
DESERVES IT AT SOME POINT
Myst - an iconic and incredibly atmospheric puzzle game, I'm genuinely surprised that I haven't heard talk about this one in some respect; it bears note as a rare game with absolutely no conflict whatsoever. I actually rank this one on par with the 7th Guest in terms of atmospheric games, though their tones could not be more different. So why do I think this game deserves it at some point? It was an incredibly immersive and beautiful game, lacking in genuine danger or threat, encouraging the player to explore and tackle the puzzles of the game. This sort of open-ended lack of peril makes it an interesting precursor towards certain flavors of sandbox games around now. It's worth noting that it was a tremendous achievement, given technical limitations of things such as the CD-Rom it was stored on, maintaining a consistent experience, as well as tying narrative reasons into those very constraints. It has been compared to an art film; if so, it certainly is the sort that invited imitators and proved to be a great technical achievement.
Portal: PORTAL! What can I honestly say that hasn't already been said by other people? The amazing integration of a physics engine into innovative puzzle solving, combined with a slow burn sort of minimalist plot reveal concerning the AI proving itself to be a kind of reverse HAL 9000? This game got a HUGE number of memes back in the day, and I expect anyone reading this can probably reference a few. The cake thing, certainly, and its relevance to matters of deception. There is much discussion over the game's utility in academic circles, which is certainly quite notable, and for my part, I'm interested by the point that at first the game gives you a lot of hints towards what you're supposed to do, gradually making it less obvious for the player you're on your own entirely, using your experience with the game to get past the puzzles from there, and its excellent game design. Ultimately though, I place this below Half Life in hall of fame urgency, because while I probably like this one more, it doesn't have the same impact on other games, per say. (That's a lot of awards for it, though. Wowza.)
Resident Evil: Is it fair to call this one the major survival horror game of its era? No, because it's apparently the FIRST, or at least the first to be called such. It's certainly up there with shaping the genre as a whole, both its immediate predecessors and modern games. The flavor of a survival horror can even be judged about whether its close to Resident Evil's style of defending yourself with limited resources vs controlled helplessness. It's also worth pointing out that I quite like the restricted, cramped setting of the mansion, rather than an expansive city; Biohazard was a real return to form, even if its something I mostly watched through funny lets plays because OH NO ITS TOO SCARY I CANT WATCH.
Asteroids: It's called the first major hit of the golden age of the arcade. I'm forced to say... yeah, it absolutely deserves it. The actual implementation and hardware of the game makes for interesting reading, and so its innovative nature ought to be noted: it lacked a soundchip at all, making use of handmade circuits wired to the board. It's reception was great, beating out Space Invaders and needing larger boxes just to hold all the money people spent on it. It also invented the notion of tracking initials on the top ten score, which has implications for arcade challenges.
Ms. Pac Man: This one consistently ranks HIGH in gaming records of its time, though there is admittedly some confusion to whether it or Donkey Kong was a better seller. Interestingly it appears to shape most of the gameplay mechanics people remember most for Pac-Man, such as the improved AI of the ghosts. It's more highly regarded than the original game, and on a personal note, I remember being a kid and seeing this arcade machine at ALL the laundry places my family usually wound up going to.
Frogger: It's placing on this list is not solely because CUTE FROG. The accessibility and wide appeal of the game bears a great deal of consideration, the flexibility of its formula, and just how many dang times it's been ported in one form or another. (And also, cute frog.) It also gets points for the creator being inspired for the game when he saw a frog trying to cross a road, hampered by the vehicles in the way, and he got out of his car and carried the frog across the street. The game is also evident of broad appeal, and some money-makers resisting it, goes back a long way; it was apparently dismissed as a kid's game by some, which just goes to show that some problems are older than quite a lot of gamers alive today.
Uncharted 2: this is one of those games where I cannot honestly say I have personal experience to draw from. Of the playstation's big games, I remember the Jak and Daxter series; I remember Kingdom Hearts, and I remember Ratchet and Clank, and I remember Infamous, but the Uncharted series remains
something of a 'I don't go here?' obscurity in my personal playbook. It does look memorable and charming from what I've seen, and one consistent element I've seen in comments about it is the cinematic nature of the game; it feels very much like a fun heist movie, based on what I have seen of it, and the notable thing is how the game FEELS cinematic.. in a literal way. As in, it combined elements of cinematography with game design, and that's no mean feat: what works for movies are unlikely to translate well to the interactive side, and it shows how that can be done for other games. The extensive praise does the game a LOT of credit!
WORTH NOMINATION AT LEAST
Angry Birds: As noted before, I'm not the biggest fan of most phone games, given that i prefer a more passive experience than most provide. As such, Angry Birds isn't something I've played as of this writing, but I have to appreciate the straightforward and simple gameplay; it reminds me a bit of the Burrito Bison game series, which I HAVE played, and I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's because Angry Birds is probably the innovation that coined that particular style of gameplay. It's an example of what made phone games profitable and worth the time of developers to work at them; its easy for casual players to get into, and there's a fun sort of impact involved. Given the popularity of phone games, this one has a LOT of influence in getting that rolling, similar to candy crush, if not as much.
FIFA International Soccer: Simulation games are a tricky business; it can be really difficult to get them right, and this game provides an example of it being done in a way that a lot of people REALLY loved, set up an entire game series, and revived the 3DO system after a very bad year. Of note, apparently it was commented that it was more of a simulator than a console game, and this is rather funny considering how simulator is its own genre nowadays! Such do things change. It seems to have been a revolutionary game and simulation; setting the shape for modern sport games of its type, and tending more towards realism (accounting for acceptable breaks in reality) than was typical of the time. This one's position is thus picked for its impact as a whole; while it may not necessarily be a household name now, the series continues on, and is popular enough that even after 20 years, it's still been going.
Elite: I nominate this game in this position for being a startlingly early entry into what we would now consider open-ended games, even with an element of exploration and trading; if one stretches definitions a bit, a precursor towards gameplay of the like scene in 4X players who strive to avoid conflict, if possible. Its technical breakthroughs are some very interesting reading and make for good game history; a vast and complex game (not just by the standards of the era, either), and opening the door for persistent world games such as World of Warcraft.
Wii Sports: A significant game, and much as how other titles mentioned above were famed for gateway entries into gaming for an unfamiliar audience, or those that would want o play on a more casual basis. It seems notable to me for being most suited as a family game, or a more casual experience of multiplayer than usually associated with games like this; this has greatly influenced Nintendo's design philosophy, and one can see elements of this all the way through the Wii U onwards. It's essentially a fliparound from Mario Party; less competitiveness, but definitely meant as a group thing. Controversy is evident, because like with Mario Party, injuries did result from it.
Call of Duty: I place this one here because, while it DOES hold a very significant role in gaming history, with countless imitators, spiritual successors, being a game-changer in ways that its modern reputation might surprise you with, ultimately it is less so than other games such as Goldeneye, Halo or Half-Life. It's development in AI pathfinding and tactics is incredibly noteworthy from a mechanical perpsective, and the sheer level of awards it won is notable. In the end this game's popularity and continuing influence means that it shouldn't be overlooked.
Metroid: You can't spell 'Metroidvania' without this game! A relatively open ended exploration-based game with further options opening as new tools were found give it an interesting vibe, and the oppressive atmosphere distinctive to the game says great things about its sound and level designs. It wasn't the first open world game, or explorer, or even the first to open new aereas based on equipment, but it had ALL of these elements in a very memorable package. (Samus Aran as a female protagonist is something I'm a bit reluctant to give it credit for, as her identity was obfuscated for most of the game, and only revealed in a fanservicey way in a secret ending. All the same, credit where it is due, I suppose!) It's music seems to endure as a mood setter, too!
Pole Position: Perhaps not the FIRST racing game, but still considered one of the most important from the golden age of gaming, and the one to codify many of the firm rules of the game series. It's three dimensional gameplay is incredibly innovative for its time, and having played it and games like it in the past, I'm struck by how smooth the whole thing feels. No wonder it was popular! It is notable for having been designed specifically as a 3d Experience, meant to execute techniques like real drivers might attempt, which makes it a different sort of beast in that it tried to do more realistic actions; in some ways, a precursor to modern trends of realism in many games, for ill or best. Ultimately I think this one is worth a nomination because of its influence towards racing games (a popular and long lived genre, to say the least) as a whole.
OUTSIDE CHANCE
Nurburgring 1: On the one hand, I feel a bit guilty putting this one so low; it is recognized as likely being the earliest racing game in history, and given that I just finished noting Pole Position's influence, it feels a bit mean to rate this one as relatively insignificant all the same. However, in terms of notability, I never even heard of this one, and it was tricky finding information about it. Accordingly, that may say something about its influence, though this position DOES make it noteworthy as the first of its kind, albeit with Pole Position refining and introducing elements that shaped the genre.
Dance Dance Revolution: It feels a bit strange, putting this one fairly low. This thing was a MONSTER back in the day; entire arcades were built around the dancing control peripherals it required, rhythm based games or mechanics specifically invoked it by name, and it was an absolute cultural touchstone for years and years. So, why place it low? Partly, its because I can't just shove EVERYTHING into the 'deserves a nomination' folder; I do think it's fairly reasonable for this one to at some point get a nomination in the future, though ultimately there's games more noteworthy on the whole. It's specific rhythm qualities continue outside of its genre, and are quite influential to gaming as a whole, though unfortunately the series seems to have lost something in notability over time; popularity is a factor, but so is the impact on other games.
NBA 2K and NBA Jam: I put these two together because they touch on similar touchstones for me, and they really did popularize basketball games back in the day. Jam in particular seems to be invoking the Big Head mode that were a big thing in games at the time, at least going from the screenshot. They were very popular and highly beloved games back in the day, though I don't know if they have much influence on later games. I note that interestingly, they take opposite approaches; 2k focuses on AI and realistic experiences, while Jam was deliberately less realistic and more actiony in its over the top gameplay.
Nokia Snake: This one really impresses me for the sheer number of releases, in various forms, it's had! Interestingly, there seems to be little consensus on the name of this game; most just call it Snake or something on that theme. I went with Nokia Snake because... mostly, it sounds funny, and that's how its done on the list. This one is fairly low, but I Have to give it credit for having hundreds of releases!
Farmville: My mom liked Facebook games, a lot. And I am certain this one was one of her main ones! I rate it fairly low, and no doubt her spirit is yelling imprecations at me across the void of time, space, and abandoned socks; all the same, this one is ranked low because of the sheer number of displeasure aimed this one's way. (And to be fair, she complained about it. A LOT.) It is thus notable for unusually negative reasons; an example of exploitation, pressuring players to pester their friends to play it in an equivalent to electronic chain mail, and microtranscations.
Tron: I'm inclined to give any game that takes place in a computer land and uses programming or mechanical terminology a free pass! Interestingly, this has some association with the Snake game, as they have similar gameplay and Snake games are sometimes called Light Cylce games, after this one. It has an interesting history; the graphical system was chosen largely because it was believed it was more likely to be achieved before the deadline.
NO BUSINESS IN THE HALL OF FAME
Mattel Football: I do feel a little mean putting anything in this category; firstly because I don't want to make actual fans of something sad, and secondly because I believe you can probably find notability anywhere you look, if you are inclined. And here is the chief difficulty with this one: I could not find any real information in this one. It has no Wikipedia page, a google search only led to undescriptive links of SALES for the game, but not any information on the game itself. Notability is my main resource for sorting these entries, and honestly? If google has nothing on you, that's a pretty poor sign. Sorry, Mattel Football, but you look like a poor man's Game And Watch. You're no Portal, Myst or Pole Position.

A Window to the Soul: Game Mechanics and Characters in Ai: the Somnium Files
Spoiler-free!
Tumblr media
Ai: The Somnium Files is an adventure game/visual novel for PC, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch by Spike Chunsoft in September 2019. Written and directed by Kotaro Uchikoshi, known for his Zero Escape Trilogy (999: Nine Persons, Nine Hours, Nine Doors (DS), Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward (DS), and Zero Time Dilemma (DS, PS Vita, PC), also available as the Zero Escape Trilogy on Steam and PS4), this game once again displays Uchikoshi’s signature combination of suspense, humor, and ludonarrative harmony that fans of his previous games are familiar with, alongside a cast of complex, compelling characters you’ll absolutely fall in love with.
For all my fellow Zero Escape fans, you probably remember the issues the series faced with financing, which ultimately lead to Uchikoshi helping to establish Spike Chunsoft and the eventual release of Zero Time Dilemma. In AitSF, more than ever, the fruits of that partnership are apparent. It feels we finally get to see a complete picture of Uchikoshi’s vision; Featuring fully animated 3d models, fully voiced dialogue, and some incredibly goofy and self-indulgent dance sequences, this murder mystery (and yes, it is a murder mystery) is absolutely worth it’s full price and your time.
The game has multiple endings (About 5, without checking), all leading up to and feeding into the true ending. One notable feature is that the timeline allows you to jump into previous played sections at any point of the chapter, and even provides summaries of the events that happened in each “node,” so unlike in the original 999,  you don’t need to replay through every scene of dialogue to get to each ending.
Rather than spend time analyzing the story itself- something that can’t be done to a satisfying level without spoiling the whole thing- I’ll just say that the way Uchikoshi literally has us get inside the heads of characters by “syncing” with them is a great story device, and is realized extremely well in the gameplay. For me, the Sync was used in all the right places to push me into genuinely caring about some characters, that, without the sync, I would be sympathetic to, but not feel a real sense of attachment towards.
What follows is a breakdown and analysis of how well the gameplay is designed, and some non-spoilery discussion of characterization and character design:
Mechanics:
The core gameplay loop can be broken into two parts: dialogue and investigation, and “syncing.”
The investigation portion of the game is similar to most adventure visual novels- investigating crime scenes, talking to NPCs to advance the story, examining your surroundings, and in my case, clicking on scenery over and over again to get funny flavor dialogue.
The flavor dialogue does not disappoint- and for me, the best minor feature included in the game ties to this. When you click on an object, you get an initial string of dialogue- but the indicator with the name of the object will only get grayed out once you’ve seen all the text related to that object. For some people, this might ruin the “fun” of clicking over and over again- like in 999, where some bits of dialogue would only display on the 9th time examining an object- but for me, it was a godsend, because I didn’t spend any time wondering if I missed anything funny.
The Sync gameplay loop is also mechanically brilliant. Part of the in-universe rules, which are emphasized over and over, is that the main character, Date, can only spend 6 minutes within the subject’s “Somnium”- the internal dreamscape of their mind- and that staying any longer could result in disastrous consequences. As such, each Somnium loop attempt can (hypothetically) be experienced in chunks of about 8-10 minutes. This set time frame makes it a breeze to play the game in small sections at a time and let your mind breathe a bit. The time limitation is challenging, but never infuriating; even when I messed up horribly and knew I had to restart a sync from the beginning, I would just use the time I had remaining to try out the goofier actions available to try out as puzzle solutions.
Somnium Files’ adaptability to being played in long sittings or in short bursts, while still maintaining an engaging, tense narrative is an incredible strength that not all games can boast of. Not a single part of the game felt like a slog or a chore to me, unlike a few puzzles in Zero Time Dilemma, where I ran into the perennial adventure game issue of  “okay, so I have this item, but where do I use it?”, “how the hell do I even solve this puzzle without a guide” (I didn’t), and “what do I need to do to unlock the next sequence?”
Characters
So let’s talk about these good characters. Some of you probably recognized the art style for the game’s key visual as the work of Yusuke Kozaki, best known by many as the head artist and character designer for Fire Emblem: Awakening and Fire Emblem: Fates. Even in his work for the Fire Emblem franchise, you can tell he doesn’t care much for drawing armor- which puts him in the same club as literally every artist I know who draws Fire Emblem fan art. His designs really shine in a contemporary setting, with modern clothing, and really give the cast a unified, unique aesthetic. Moreover, the designs are beautifully translated into 3D as well.
For a game that was most likely well underway in development several years prior to the boom of the subgenre, the design for A-set, (AKA Iris), an in-game internet idol and streamer, is incredibly in line with those of many successful “Virtual Youtubers”- for that alone it deserves some accolades. Fittingly, as part of online promotion for the game, Chunsoft posted a series of video blogs starring  A-set, as if she were posting to her own channel. (I missed all of these, and that’s a real shame, because I think they would have gotten me excited for the game if I had been paying attention.)
Despite Iris’ obvious and engineered marketability, I think my favorite design of the game is Aiba, the AI partner of the main character, whose human form only appears in Somnium and in the realm world as an AR projection imposed in Date’s cybernetic eye. The way her arms fade into glowing, electronic “nerves” at her arms is a subtle reminder of her artificiality, but her design also doesn’t make her more playful and goofy behaviors jarring in the least.
As far as personalities go, I would say that Date, our protagonist, manages to hit the perfect median- maybe even fusion- between the past male protagonists in the Zero Escape trilogy. Junpei, Sigma, and Carlos were all likable in their own ways, as the narrative character, but all had a level of blandness to them. To me, they served more as vehicles for us to participate in the Nonary Games.
In contrast, Date feels very much like his own, established person, and that’s not only a huge strength, but central to the overall narrative. (For all non-ZE fans reading this review- I apologize for the heavy use of ZE comparisons here.) Like Sigma, Date is a bit of a perv, but unlike Sigma in Virtue’s Last Reward, I didn’t feel squicked out by his behavior; Like Carlos, he cares immensely for the people important to him, and puts their wellbeing first; Like Junpei, he’s, also, a loveable moron.
There are other characters- Mizuki in particular- whom I can’t speak too much about without spoiling some of the enjoyment of their character arcs, but all of them have incredibly good and complicated interpersonal relationships both with and outside of Date.
Lastly, there’s Aiba. A good companion character is worth their weight in gold. After all, most of the time, they’re who you spend most of your time with, and for that reason, the more “annoying” ones always catch more flac for being so. For me, Aiba easily slides into my top 10 favorite companion characters of all time, along such members as Maya Fey in the original Ace Attorney trilogy and Midna from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Most of the goofiest sequences in the game are instigated by her, and every time she’s on screen there’s bound to be something fun to do, not to mention the fact she’s our avatar used within Somnium. Combine that and her telepathic banter with Date, and you got a recipe for a dynamic duo.
In closing, every aspect of AitSF is absolutely delightful; It has tightly woven narrative gameplay, wonderful and complex characters, a storyline that, despite my best efforts, I couldn’t unravel the details of before they were revealed- and I didn’t even get into how great the voice acting is. If you’re looking for an enjoyable, self-contained game that you can beat in under 35 hours, Ai: The Somnium Files can’t be beat.

Survey #374
“doctor, doctor, won’t you please prescribe me something?  /  a day in the life of someone else...”
Does someone have a crush on you but you don’t feel the same way? No. Who do you feel most beautiful around? No one. What’s one makeup item you cannot live without? I could live without any makeup. What’s the most expensive thing you own? My snake, I think. Or my laptop, idr. Are you more of a book person or a TV person? Book. Relationship status? Single. What color are most of your clothes? Black. Did you french kiss before you were 16? No, I was 16. Last song you listened to? "The Heretic Anthem" by Slipknot. Would you ever go back to any of your past relationships? Yes. What’s your favorite thing about life? That's a big question. I guess seeing acts of mass love and kindness, reminders that we're all in this together through all hardships. Who pays for the first date? Whoever asked the other person out, imo. Who has always been there for you? My mom. Have you ever written on a wall? No, at least not to my memory. Do you play any computer games, if so, what ones? I think anyone who reads these by now knows, haha. I don't much play anything else. I prefer console games. What would you name a baby boy if you had one? Probably Damien or Victor. What would you name a baby girl if you had one? Alessandra, no questions asked. What lyric means the most to you? I mean there's tons, but the first one that came to mind is "for such a little thing, you sure are in your own way" from "Get Up" by Mother Mother. Like in the big picture, we humans are so so so minuscule, but with brains that are too complicated for our own good. It's my own head that creates so many obstacles for me. Who is the smartest person you know? Probably my friend Girt. Have your parents ever been to jail? No. Do you share a bed with anyone? My cat, haha. Does it flatter you when guys open doors for you? It's flattering if anyone does, not just guys. Do you enjoy taking naps? Yeah. That's like part of my daily routine. If your friend asked you to hold their drugs, would you? Nope. Is there anyone you try to be a good influence for? My nieces and nephew, but I don't feel like I am. I'm a poor example of an adult. Do you own a pair of fishnets? No, but I have a pair of fingerless fishnet gloves. Which do you prefer: french toast, bagels, pancakes, waffles, bacon or cereal? All are great, but french toast. Yes or no: eyebrow piercings? I'd actually have one if I didn't have glasses. I think I'd look weird with one as I look now. When I say "The Beatles," what is the first song that comes to mind? "Hey, Jude." In your opinion, what is the very worst type of weather? Extremely hot and humid. You can only listen to one band for the rest of your life, who do you pick? Ozzy Osbourne, of course. Can you snap with both of your hands? Yeah, but it's harder with my left. What is something that you had to learn the hard way? For some people, promises don't mean shit. If you could re-paint your bedroom, what color would you paint it? Maybe like a light peach. When was the last time you got butterflies? I think not since Sara told me I look really pretty in eyeliner. ;_; <3 When was the last time you felt like your heart was actually breaking? There was this one time I was listening to "The Ghost of You" by MCR a while after finding out about Jason's mom's death and I just like... broke. When’s the last time you were in a line? When I was getting my second COVID shot. Do you trust the media? HA! Fuck no. If you could kill off one species of animal, which would it be? At first I was appalled by this question, but like... do wasps serve a purpose? Of all fauna, they annoy me the most. I mean bees are already endangered enough, and they prey on them. They don't pollinate, so like... why are you here. I may be mistaken and they have a valuable role, in which case I take all this back. Who’d you last say I love you to? My mom. What’s the most overpaid job in your opinion? I have on idea. Most jobs are underpaid. What’s the last thing you wrote down? I was doing some paperwork at the TMS office on my first day there. When’s the last time you heard a gunshot? I don’t know. What are you looking forward to? Now that my tattoo (which looks fucking stunning, by the way) is out of the way, I can focus on other things. I'm particularly looking forward to hopefully seeing the results of TMS manifest (which should take 3-4 weeks). It sounds horrible, but I'm also keenly awaiting this dog we're stuck with to go somewhere... The person who gave her to my sister to give my mom won't take the dog back, and we can't find another option that doesn't risk her being euthanized, which we absolutely do not want. We just don't know what to do, but she's driving Mom and me INSANE. Do you listen to online radio stations? No. Have you ever done something sexual that you regret? No. Have you ever said anything to the last person you kissed that you regret? Multiple things. Have you ever ate so much you puked? Ugh, no. That sounds awful. Do you care about what others think of your physical appearance? Very much, sadly. Would you rather eat cookies or brownies? I gotta say brownies. Which YouTuber have you learned the most from? I mean, this depends on the subject. From Mark, I've learned most about life and how (I think) to be a good person, but there's a lot of pet channels I watch that have taught me loads about proper husbandry. This answer just depends on what knowledge you're talkin' about. Who would you want to be the flower girl at your wedding? Probably a niece. Do you want to be married within the next ten years? It'd be nice. Do you feel like your life is too fast-paced, or do you wish it were busier? Ugh, I wish it was busier. My days are a COMPLETE, routine drag. What are some hobbies which you want to pick up? I want to just be more artsy. I wanna draw and write more, and I'd love love love to be in healthy enough shape to handle going on walks with my camera. There are sometimes I miss editing videos, too. I'm unsure about completely new hobbies. Does anyone encourage you to go after your dreams? My family and a few friends. Oh, and definitely my psychiatrist. What group are you most active in on Facebook? None, really. I mostly just observe. Are you ashamed of anything? A number of things. Primarily not having a job at my age or even being in school. What were your favorite Disney rides as a kid? I loved Splash Mountain, I think it was called. What were your favorite rides at Cedar Point? Never been. What are some places you want to visit that you’ve never been? South Africa, Alaska, Canada, Yellowstone National Park, Bahamas, Venice, Rome... What are some places that you’ve been that you’d like to go to again? Disney World, Chicago, and this one super clear lake I swam in once a few hours away that I don't recall the name of. Have you ever owned a succulent? No. While they're pretty, I've never been much of a plant person. Do you support small businesses? I REALLY want to start doing that more when I have the option to buy my own stuff/have my own income. As someone who wants to be a freelance photographer, I get it. Starting an independent business is hard as hell. If a brand were to sponsor you, which brand(s) would you prefer? Uhhh I dunno. Have you read the entire Bible? No. Do you make bucket lists for each season? No. That does sound kinda fun, though. How old were you when you first dyed your hair? I have no idea. Do you dye your hair regularly? No. :/ I desperately want to, though. It's just not something we can afford to spare cash on. What is the most comfortable type of pants, in your opinion? Pajama pants? haha Do you think you could ever be famous? No. I'm way too boring and don't want to be anyway. What are some jobs you’ve had in the past? Sales associate, cashier, and deli worker. None lasted long whatsoever. What are some jobs you want to or would like to have? List five. FIVE? I don't know. I just know I want to be a photographer. Well, being an artist or poet would be very cool. And a reptile breeder, maybe tarantulas, too, but that makes me kinda nervous with JUST how many babies they have. What are some jobs you have considered? In rough order from youth to now: paleontologist, vet, movie director, game designer, author/poet, artist, music video editor, wildlife biologist, photographer... Maybe there's more that just aren't coming to me. Are you thankful for social media, or do you wish it didn’t exist? Depends on the day for me, but I'm generally thankful for it so I can keep up with the lives of people who are important to me. It's just that it's a breeding ground for self-doubt and rampant comparisons that can easily depress me when I see some people are "further ahead" and more "established" than me. What are some of the best medications you’ve ever had? The combined efforts of Latuda and Lamictal saved my life. What was a video you watched over and over as a kid? There were lots of movies, like The Lion King, a certain Barney one when I was very young, and I watched Finding Nemo like crazy. Do you know a lot of people who were loving, and then turned cold? Jason????????????????? Is that you??????????????????????????????????????????? Do you own anything plaid? Ha, what a coincidence, I'm wearing my red plaid pj pants. Are you good at remembering names? Definitely not. Have the cops ever gotten on to you for anything before? No. What email thingy do you use? (yahoo, gmail, rock) ... Rock? lol anyway my main is Hotmail, but I inevitably have a gmail to have a YouTube account. What game system(s) do you own? PS2, Wii, Nintendo DS Lite, and a GameBoy Advance. Are you any good at Guitar Hero? I used to be; I played most songs on Expert, then some really tough ones on Hard. I was soooooo addicted to those games. I remember when I got the first one for Christmas, I literally played it all day. Have you ever played Call of Duty? Nah, not my jam. What is your favorite/most visited website? YouTube. Is your bed comfortable? Sure. I've definitely had way worse. Do you have a garage? No. Fun fact, I've never lived in a house with one. Should you be doing anything right now? What? There's a number of things I could be doing that are definitely more productive, like finishing decorating my damn room. Do doctors or dentists make you more nervous? Not really. I only ever get nervous to hear my weight at the doctor's. Did you ever think you were about to die before? I don't quite know. When I ODed, it was more like I didn't care if I did. Have you ever really had a near death experience? Was it cool? "Was it cool." Literally fuck off. I guess you could technically consider my OD a "near death experience," especially given how many pills I took, yet I somehow experienced almost no ill symptoms. Maybe because we got to the ER for fluids quickly enough, idk. I'm just glad I didn't die. What is your favorite kind of weather? Snowy! Like a steady snowfall of large flakes with no breeze and total silence. *chef's kiss* Ever tasted beer? Ugh, no. Just the smell makes me sick. It was my dad's drink of choice when he was an alcoholic so I just have a very negative association with it. Have you ever seen a dead body? Yes, at an open-casket wake. Ever poured salt on a slug? As kids, my sisters and I would get our parents to do it because they grossed us out. So, so cruel. I still have this weird but pretty extreme phobia of them, but I wouldn't torture the things like that.

ive been on this tangent before but i really do wish we were given more story in mario games, esp. mario & luigi games
like i know with nintendo’s epic “we are not giving mario games unique characters or more story because people Surely Don’t Want Them” policy it’s doubtful we’ll get any more unless the fanbase pitches a fit at them enough or whatever but... like looking back at the story-based games you kinda observe how much stuff goes unexplained. and don’t get me wrong, i love thinking about things in the m&l series that have no explanation or origin behind them. i love writing a thousand words worth of backstory for fawful prior to superstar saga, or a thousand words about popple’s life experiences and how he became a thief in the first place, i love thinking about the complicated relation between fawful and cackletta and how it’s not remotely a clean-cut, black-and-white relationship. i love filling in the blanks myself and watching people do the same, but i still wish we had more to go off of in the first place

hello, friends! since the halloween event is over, i’m looking to find non-event plots for seojun, considering he needs more connections (especially since the random influx of new muses/people). as i don’t really have a plot page for him ( i feel like it’s too late at this point ), below are a few plots i’ve thought about and would love to rp with new/familiar faces!
a more personal? plot that i’d love to see people hop in on. seojun is starting up his own app— basically the wizard equivalent of grubhub/uber eats/postmates, which he is ( more than likely ) going to call accigo. any marketing, communication, or compsci majors are free to help bring success to the app! he’d also accept anyone who is good with graphic design ( graphic design is my passion ;)!!! ), as he sucks at art to begin with, and would like some help on the creative/artistic aspect of his app making.
he’s always down for a hook up, so hit him up ahahah...
as we near exam season, seojun is looking for a pal or two...or more.. to be his study buddy. doesn’t matter the major, seojun just wants someone who will study in solidarity. fair warning, he will procrastinate and try and distract your muse as well ( the codes get to him sometimes ), whether his annoying antics work or not.. who knows!
he is always...ALWAYS down for someone to play video games with. lately, he has been trying out the newer, more popular games like genshin impact and valorant!
speaking of games, seojun loves ddr ( dance dance revolution ) and also occasionally holds just dance nights! anyone willing to be seojun’s dance partner and boogie to some promiscuous on the nintendo switch would be greatly appreciated.
“Want to see me run to that mountain and back? [doesn't move] You want to see me do it again?” someone broom race with him around campus PLEASE! he’s honestly so cocky, and will use any excuse to broom race anyone because he thinks he’s the fastest. whether that is true or not... who knows! but seojun will bother your muse about it until your muse finally caves in and races him.
any VOLLEYBALLERS in the chat? i have yet to plot this activity yet with seojun.
anyone down for a good prank, whether that be helping seojun prank another or being pranked
seojun has a pretty annoying personality (sometimes), that do be true. if he finds your muse raving over something that, he either believes is bs or just disagrees with, he will bicker with them until he wins. though, he’ll do this sometimes with people he has a disliking toward as well, just to get under their skin, so if anyone wants to plot that type of relationship, here’s your chance!
any stoners, party goers, etc. seojun is looking for a saturday night with the fellas, ladies, or nb folk.
anyone in the astrology/divination clubs/major? please give seojun a reading. he’s super skeptical about the whole thing, but maybe your muse can convince him that it’s legit? side note: if convinced, he’s probably the type to stress about it for a week like “my tarot card spread said i’m not gonna do so good this week, so i’m not going outside:)”
after taking a long break from playing quidditch, seojun is finally back in! his love for the sport began at hogwarts, but was soon thrown to the side due to the complications it brought between his relationship with his father. after the saturday game, he’s feeling golden, even after geum lost! he’s down for a celebratory ‘yay for rebelling against my father’ night out. that, or, if anyone would like to rp quidditch practices or just locker room shenanigans... hit me up!
i’m sure these are all relatively lame and dry plots, so if anyone would like a more in depth plot or has a better plot idea they’d like to involve seojun in, please feel free to reach out either here or discord.

The Actual Thing Going On With Edelgard Von Hresvelg.
Spoilers: It’s not fascism, nor racism (at least not in the way people think). Also, actual spoilers for the game.
Tumblr media
If there has been a controversial character in Fire Emblem Three Houses, it’s Edelgard Von Hresvelg, one of the game’s main three lords, the house leader of the Black Eagles, the princess and sole heir of the Adrestian Empire, and an antagonist in every single route but hers. She has been a polarizing figure within the community: Some people think she’s an irredeemable monster, others think she’s a misunderstood leader. When it comes to Edelgard, theres hardly a grey opinion towards her; She’s either black or white. Today, I wanna talk about Edelgard’s actions towards the 4 routes, what they actually portray, and how and why the entire discourse towards her was caused deliberately by Intelligent System’s incredible mishandling and mistreatment of the character.
I remember Nintendo’s 2018 E3 conference quite well. I was at with a group of friends, watching at one of them’s house because he had a bigger TV. I remember making jokes about how “there was going to be a new Fire Emblem” because loving Fire Emblem when Intelligent Systems is Like That is a living nightmare.
And then this happens.
youtube
Words could not express the joy I felt when the trailer was over. It wasn’t just a new Fire Emblem game: We were going to have another lady lord, and an axe-wielding one at that - something the fanbase had been desperately craving since the recent surge in Hector’s popularity - and for once, it was like when I first found out that there would be a new female character in Shadows Of Valentia with Faye, and it was the tipping point for me to finally buy a Nintendo Switch.
Of course, just like Faye, things weren’t that simple.
Because some months before E3 2019, which promised to reveal more info on Fire Emblem 3 Houses, Reddit exploded. All because of someone who goes by the username Thanibomb, who claimed to have leaked info on the game, saying a lot of information about all the characters, some of them very questionable (With things such as Lysithea would die due to her crest complications, and it would cause the major 5-year war, and other things like Claude being the one who shot Dimitri’s eye off), while other info being oddly specific. A part of it that made me particularly chuckle was when such user said that Dimitri would have lost an eye, and would cover it with an eyepatch. I found it so silly and, along with some friends, claimed it to be fake and carried on.
And then E3 2019 happened.
youtube
And Dimitri had an eyepatch.
And still, even after Thanibomb, things remained optimistic. All lords looked nice, they seemed to have their own ideals, their own paths, and no fights were breaking out within the fanbase yet. But then early copies were sent to reviewers. And then 4chan got a hold of one of those. And then the main leaks started. And by the time the game got released, it was too late. The amount of hate comments towards the character was so overwhelming; some calling Edelgard a fascist, others claiming that she was racist, others even saying that she gives racist remarks towards Claude ingame (a blatant lie). A personal favorite comment of mine was how Hubert and Edelgard looked like the perfect alt-right couple.
(Should I remark that these kinds of comments stopped as soon as they found out that Hubert could A-support Ferdinand, and most of them moved on to fetishize the relationship between the two of them instead. Ironically, before that happened people despised Hubert in general solely because of his unusual appearance and shady behavior, but that was soon seen as ‘nuanced’ the moment he could be paired off with another man.)
And so, a fight between the fanbase begun: (Mostly) Blue Lion fans bashing Edelgard’s character, Black Eagle fans defending her vehemently, and Golden Deer fans between either on any of those sides or just making memes for Joe Zieja’s rally campaign for the GD. Mostly the latter. But that’s beside the point.
A (Kinda) Brief Summary of Edelgard’s Presence In Azure Moon, Verdant Wind, And Silver Snow.
Tumblr media
Throughout the game’s second part, unless you’re playing the Crimson Flower Route, Edelgard will always be an antagonist who cannot be spared, and she cannot survive unless it’s in her own route. However, the way she is percieved changes depending on each route you are making, with each route leaving small fragments depicting Edelgard’s past and shaping her character in full scale.
In Verdant Wind/Silver Snow, Edelgard isn’t the final boss. She is one of the bosses before the big fight. (Nemesis in Claude’s case, Rhea in Seteth’s). She’s one of the obstacles, but not the main one, therefore there is not much insight on her character; However, there is still one element present in those routes that is curiously omitted from Azure Moon that is the reason why she doesn’t really have too much focus, that being Hubert’s final letter.
Tumblr media
In both routes, Hubert seems to highly respect Seteth/Claude’s prowess in the war and their cunning mind. (Especially Claude; Throughout both Verdant Wind and Crimson Flower, he commends Claude’s tactics and strategies multiple times). In the letter, he gives the location of where Rhea is confined and asks them to eliminate Those Who Slither in the Dark, the game’s true villains and the ones behind most, if not all the game’s tragic events. Even more curiously, though, is the fact that the letter does exist on the Crimson Flower route, and can be seen briefly on Hubert’s B support with Ferdinand, being the reason of their argument throughout the conversation. Not a single mention of the letter exists in the Azure Moon Route. (Of course it would not make sense for it to exist gameplay-wise due to the player having already murdered Arundel/Thales earlier in the game but. It’s still something to be accounted for).
Tumblr media
Speaking of Azure Moon, this is a much more trickier route to talk about. Not only due to the fact that Edelgard is this route’s final boss, but also because all of the things we discover about Edelgard within it are never mentioned in any other route, only brief mentions about the time she spent in the Kingdom; nothing more.
In here, her time spent on the Kingdom is expanded: Both Edelgard, her mom Patricia and Arundel were sent off to Faerghus due to exile, with Patricia being set off to marry King Lambert. There, she meets Dimitri, and they both become fast friends. By the time she has to leave, Dimitri gifts her with a dagger (Which, in Faeghus, are important gifts that mean ‘to cut a path towards a better future’), and she returns to Adrestia. Some time after she leaves the Tragedy of Duscurr happens, caused by Those Who Slither in the Dark. However, due to a misunderstanding caused by eavesdropping on a conversation between Thales and the Flame Emperor, Dimitri mistakenly believes that the Flame Emperor was behind it all, and once the Flame Emperor’s identity is finally revealed to be Edelgard, she is instantly demonized and called a ‘witch’, even though she openly declares how she had nothing to do with it. This goes on until Rodrigue’s death and Cornelia’s reveal that Patricia was the one behind the Duscurr Tragedy so she could return to the Empire and “reunite with her daughter”. (We never find out about what happened to her and she is not mentioned during the Crimson Flower). Dimitri tries to talk Edelgard off their final confrontation, but Edelgard insists that it is far too late for her to back down for their ideals are far too different, and she refuses to live in a world where the Church of Seiros exists. Dimitri then hands back her dagger (Which she accidentally dropped before the timeskip), and they both retreat to prepare for the final battle.
This route’s final boss is an Edelgard who was absorbed direct power from Those Who Slither in the Dark, and adquires a grotesque, corrupted form. No other character in the canon possess such a thing, and only Edelgard can assume such form. Once she is defeated, Dimitri tries once again to spare her, only for Edelgard to stab him with the dagger, making Dimitri realize that she would never give up on her dream, and finally kills her.
Tumblr media
An Even More Brief Explanation of What Does All of This Means.
Okay, all of that info was nice, fun, good, yadda yadda. What does this mean and why was it needed.
Well, for starters, let’s ask ourselves a question: After reading the summary, can you say that you know what drives her to seek out the destruction of the church?
What is her reasoning behind the unification of Fodlan?
Do we get anything out of her other than “Scary dictator” or “An obstacle that had to be sadly removed” or “Under better circumstances... We could’ve been Allies (tm)”?
We don’t. Because Intelligent Systems did not bother to show Edelgard’s motivations, despite her being the villain in almost all the routes.
Tumblr media
During Verdant Wind and Silver Snow, Edelgard herself does not matter: she’s solely important because she is threatening the church, she is your scary big bad dictator that you have to beat in order to rescue Rhea, only to find out that in reality she was just a stepping stone to the real villains, Those Who Slither in the Dark. (In game it is said that Hubert came up with this name. In my humble opinion Hubert can go fuck himself because this is the shittiest name I have ever seen and I am tired of having to type this five word long thing every paragraph or so). As soon as you read the letter, suddenly Edelgard, the Empire, and all the questions you had as to why she Did It dissappear because now you have another objective, another goal.
This is even more offensive during Azure Moon because she is the focus, the final boss, but it doesn’t matter why she did all of this nor what her ideals actually are despite them being the reason why she cannot be spared. The game would rather focus on getting reactions out of the player when the intimidating big meanie does something that makes Dimitri go angry than actually focusing on the clashing of Dimitri and Edelgard’s ideals, why they cannot go back to what it once was, what happened to her to change this way, why did ‘El’ actually die. All you have is a dictator in red which does things for no reason other than “I will destroy the Church and unify Fodlan so I can govern over all of it”. Nothing more, nothing less.
Tumblr media
....Of course, you do realize that I have avoided to talk about a certain thing.
So, About That Crimson Flower Route...
Tumblr media
If there is a way to truly understand a villain, one must walk on such person’s footsteps. Most people criticizing Edelgard were the ones who hadn’t played her route yet, or had only played Azure Moon and was led to believe that all of Edelgard’s actions are unwarranted or pure nonsense.
There is a reason why people sing their tune differently as soon as they experience the Crimson Flower.
For starters, to be able to fight for Edelgard, you have to first have her support up to C+, go with her to Enbarr once she asks of you, and then defend her from Rhea at the Holy Tomb. The reasoning behind that is so that you fully understand what Edelgard has gone through and the reason why she cannot agree with the existence of the Church.
The Azure Moon route tells you of Edelgard before she returned to the Empire.
It never tells you what caused her to change after she went back.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Edelgard was part of the crest experimentations caused by Those Who Slither in the Dark, alongside all her siblings. Her father, the emperor, was unable to do anything about it, as the real people in control of the Empire were Arundel/Thales and Duke Aegir. Being the sole survivor of such things to return to society and see how everything is defined by whether you have a crest or not and finding out that the Church, who instead of breaking down such system to favor equality would rather turn the creatures who run it into figures to be worshipped is. Something.
There’s another reason for Edelgard’s sudden betrayal, a more sinister one, and why she feels like everything needs to be done in a quick pace. In her C+ you find out she has a second crest, The Crest of Flames, just like the player. People who bear two crests have a shortened lifespam, however.
When Edelgard declares war against the Church, and to unite Fódlan, it’s not solely because ‘Church bad’: She declares war against the unfair crest system, against the hypocrisy of Rhea’s dragon entourage, and of course, to destroy Those Who Slither in the Dark later on the road.
  However.
Just because Edelgard’s behavior is justified, does not mean she is 100% in the right. She herself admits that the path she follows is one drenched in blood. But there are several times in the game that makes you stop and think for a second that she can still make bad decisions, and that sometimes her decisions might have horrible consequences. One of them is for example to never take away Brigid’s status as a vassal to the Empire and return it back to it’s former glory as an actual country, which shows how the entire Brigid kerfuffle is something akin to colonization. We should also point out that when she unifies Fodlan, in some endings she remains the Emperor, completely missing the point of what she fought for.
Another case that shows one of Edelgard’s biggest flaws is with the Silver Maiden incident.
Tumblr media
Edelgard had just conquered Arianrhod, the Silver Maiden, and due to murdering Cornelia, enrages Ariandel/Thales, whom causes the situation above out of a show of power. She knows it was Those Who Slither in the Dark, but she needs to give explanations fast and she can’t reveal their identity or else they would slip away and it would be impossible to locate them and destroy them. So what does she do?
She says it was Rhea who did it, actively lying to her closest allies, one of them being the Prime Minister of the Empire.
For Edelgard, the ends justifies the means, and as long as she gets the results she wants, she will do what it takes. Even by alienation. And that’s a dangerous way to go on.
...So, where do I want to go from here? Who is to blame for the hatefest Edelgard is receiving?
Intelligent Systems Kind of Didn’t Know What To Do With Edelgard.
Tumblr media
Now hold on. That sounds a bit too harsh, don’t you think? She was the first lord shown in the E3 2018 trailer, they have placed a very big emphasis on Edelgard everywhere hell the game’s main theme is about her, why would you claim that??
Well, first and foremost, I should start by saying that Crimson Flower is the game’s shortest route, with the total of 18 chapters. From those 18 chapters, there is only one cutscene, with most of the route’s major events being shown with either the game’s basic models or still images.
For comparison, Verdant Wind has the total of 8 cutscenes, counting the final one before the timeskip, with 3 of them being unique to its route.
Azure Moon has the total of 5 cutscenes, 3 of them being unique to its route.
Silver Snow has 4 cutscenes, having 2 unique ones to its route.
The other two main lords have several support options with people outside of their respective houses; Edelgard only has one.
Remember when I said that one of Edelgard’s main enemies are Those Who Slither in the Dark? The game never lets her deal with them personally. You never truly fight them during Crimson Flower.
In a way, the game feels as if while Edelgard is the focus, you shouldn’t side with her. It really makes it feel as if someone at Intelligent Systems just snickered and said ‘Hey wouldn’t it be cool if we could let our players side with/date our villain?’ without even considering or respecting such villain’s motivations, her ideals, and what truly makes a character unique.
Tumblr media
In the end, all they truly cared for was if Edelgard was romanceable enough for the player, not if she made sense or was appealing as a character, whether as a villain or a savior.
And considering how the fanbase is behaving towards Edelgard, they succeeded.

Data Mining Activities & Quotes Analysis: Sylvain
As per what I said before, I want to look deeper into data mining for funsies and just see what I can spot.
Today’s character is: Sylvain!
As a little disclaimer, I won’t be doing all his quotes because that’s a LOT! Instead, I’m just going to focus on stuff I think is interesting to look at, like particular classroom questions, or his lost items, or whatever. One day, I’ll probably get into the chapters individually but today is just to focus on one character. I’ll also update this as I find more stuff, as a small heads-up. If you find something that I missed, feel free to let me know and I’ll update the post as well.
Ok, so let’s get into it!
Check out more from this series of analysis here. They will be updated over time.
Basics- Battle
Most of the battle quotes aren’t interesting, and the data mining does not include the voiced lines without text so I had to turn to the wiki page. That said, there were a few Post Time Skip Defeat the Enemy quotes he says I find particularly interesting:
"Don't bother haunting me."
"Burn until we meet again."
Based on Annette’s support with Claude, we know the Kingdom has a particularly interesting view on the afterlife. I won’t go into the details here- instead, I will be making a Kingdom focused page for all things cultural that will cover it- but the talk of “burning” and “haunting” go along with their beliefs.
Not to mention, it is very, very dark. And Sylvain, despite his carefree attitude, has got a dark and gritty view of life. He’s smiling on the outside, but he will have no qualms with taking you down.
Basics- Cooking and Choir
Sylvain just has no interest in either of these things, as per his quotes:
Cooking Together
Part I: Cooking... Cooking... Heh. Well, it'll all work out somehow...maybe.
Part II: If you just follow the recipe, most things will come out fine. I think.
Choir Practice
It's hard to sneak out when the professor is watching.
Share a Meal- Dining Dialogue
Sylvain only has two people he has quotes with during meal time: Ingrid and Dimitri. Surprisingly, not Felix, despite having an ending with him and not an ending with Dimitri. His quotes with Ingrid are just cute, but I think his quotes with Dimitri have some nice little insights:
Support C
Sylvain: You know what, Professor? His Highness here is the most stubborn guy I know.
Dimitri: Now, Sylvain, why not go ahead and eat? If you do not, I may help myself to it.
Support B
Sylvain: By the way, how delicious are the monastery meals, right? We sure don't eat like this back in the Kingdom.
Dimitri: I agree. If we could only grow more food on our poor soil, and in the severe winter of the north...
Sylvain has a lot of quotes, including from FEH and from his support with Dimitri, that pertain to wanting Dimitri to relax (and that he’s too stubborn to). This goes hand in hand with the relationship chart that came out from Nintendo Dream some time back:
Tumblr media
I wish I could link this picture to the original translator, but I don’t know who did it. But as you can see, Sylvain wants Dimitri to relax.
The quotes from support B gives some insight into the Kingdom, about how they just don’t eat like they do at the monastery because the winter of the north is so severe and it’s hard to grow food.
Sylvain’s default responses aren’t particularly interesting, except for:
Neutral: I realized it after I got to the monastery—nobody in Faerghus knows how to cook.
Basically saying that the food at the monastery is particularly good. This goes well with Faerghus having poor yields of food in general.
Share a Meal- Favorite/ Least Favorite Foods
Sylvain seems to have a pension for fish, as based on his favorite foods. Nearly every dish he loves is fish based, except for one with is a meal for two dish (obviously a philandering thing), a few white meat dishes, and the Sweet Bun Trio, which is a Faerghus sweet. Except for the Sweet Bun Trio, all his favorites have meat, which makes sense because colder climates tends to lend to meat dishes to maintain the calories needed to maintain body heat. The dishes with fish include Teutates Loach (a fish from the Kingdom), White Trout, Airmid Pike, and Albinean Herring.
He has few dishes he doesn’t like, which all happen to be seafood based except for one. The fish meals are not described as particularly tasty, or they are extremely simple without much preparation. The only non-fish meal he doesn’t like is the Beast Meat Teppenyaki, which is described to have a wilderness taste- and he probably doesn’t like it due to history he may have with his brother.
Interestingly, he doesn’t seem to have an interest in Gautier Cheese Gratin, which has cheese from his region.
Gifts and Lost Items
Sylvain, of course, does have some items/like certain gifts that pertain to the philanderer in him. These include:
Gift: Dapper Handkerchief-  A handkerchief adorned with refined embroidery. Appreciated by fashionable men .
Lost Item: Unused Lipstick- Lipstick that would make an ideal gift for a young lady. It probably belongs to someone who likes wooing women.
Lost Item: Crumpled Love Letter- A carelessly discarded love letter. It probably belongs to someone with a complicated love life.
Sylvain clearly takes an interest in fashion, as well as his womanizing ways leaking into his lost items. We can see his casual nature when it comes to wooing the girls with the fact that the lost letter is “carelessly discarded”.
But the rest of the gifts/ lost items paint Sylvain’s other side:
Gift: Landscape Painting- A landscape painting of magnificent Lake Teutates in the clearing fog. Appreciated by those who enjoy nature or art.
Gift: Board Game- A fun activity in which players compete using stones on a board. Appreciated by those who enjoy tactical thinking.
Lost Item: The History of Sreng- A book recording the history of the Sreng people. It probably belongs to someone who has ties to Sreng.
Despite his carefree side, many of us know that Sylvain is actually incredibly smart and takes an interest in making positive changes and taking his job seriously. The board game shows he enjoys tactical thinking, and his lost item, the History of Sreng, shows he is taking an interest in local politics and is keen to learn. As for the Landscape Painting, we can see that Sylvain enjoys art (as you will see later), and that he’s not all about women and lazing about.
As for his disliked gifts:
Gift: Book of Crest Designs- A book containing the designs of 21 identified Crests. Appreciated by those who enjoy studying Crests.
Gift: Watering Can- A tool used for watering plants. Appreciated by those who enjoy gardening.
Gift: Floral Adornment- Flowers cut short so they can be worn decoratively. Appreciated by most ladies and those who like gardening.
Obviously, thanks to Sylvain’s history, disliking Crest-related gifts is no surprise. However, he also doesn’t seem to have an interesting in gardening, as he is not keen on the gardening-related gifts.
Classroom- Instruct
Sylvain has three study requests:
You know, jousting is a popular sport in Faerghus. The ladies love a guy who can joust. Speaking of... Let's polish up my riding and lance skills.
The best way to impress people is to save them by diving into harm's way. That's what a Great Knight does, yeah? So let's focus on my axe and heavy armor skills.
I want to study reason and faith. What, surprised? Hey, I may be rough around the edges, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a little magic!
We learn a few things from these:
Jousting is popular in Faerghus. Makes sense for a knight-based nation.
Sylvain seemingly wants to impress people by diving in harm’s way. But based on his general attitude, I think he really actually wants to just protect people and is pretending it’s all about the ladies.
Sylvain wants to learn magic, both faith and reason.
He also does not liked to be consoled- he wants critique to improve himself.
Critique
Part I & Part II: I'll have to do better next time.
Console
Part I & Part II: OK. You can stop it.
Classroom- Questions and Answers
Sylvain has two questions he can ask in the classroom:
Tumblr media
This is from the academy phase, and we can see that Sylvain prefers it if you tell him to basically play hard to get. There are some interesting things regarding Ingrid’s dislike here, but this is about Sylvain... and apparently, he doesn’t want to change and doesn’t like it if you tell him to clean up his act. (Ingrid likes it, though).
Tumblr media
This one is from part two. Of course, it pertains to the war, and how depressing it is, and wants something to do to feel a bit better. Funnily enough, the other infamous nobles Ferdinand and Lorenz join him for this one! We can see they all have different tastes, but Sylvain is not interested in a cup of tea, but would rather ask out a girl. He’s not against talking a walk though, but no one seems to actually like it either.
There are other questions that Sylvain joins in on, but I will add those when I eventually get to them. For now, I will just start with these two and update later.
Group Tasks
Similar to the dining dialogue, Sylvain only has quotes with Dimitri and Ingrid, and not Felix despite having an ending with him. That said, Sylvain has more dialogue with Ingrid than Dimitri, so we will start with Dimitri first:
Stable Duty & Sky Watch
Support C
Sylvain: So, Your Highness, you're gonna keep the scolding to a minimum, yeah?
Dimitri: Why are you assuming you will be scolded? All you need to do is take things seriously.
Support B
Dimitri: Hey, Sylvain. I would like your help for today's work.
Sylvain: Heh, so you've finally learned you can't do everything yourself?
Results
Support C - Good
Sylvain: Professor... It's... It's finally over...
Dimitri: You are quick to tire out, Sylvain. You should consider building your stamina.
Support C - Perfect
Dimitri: Professor, the work is now complete. Sylvain did his job as well.
Sylvain: Was getting yelled at my job? Because, yeah. I did that.
Support B - Good
Sylvain: The result was fine... Though I thought we could have aimed even higher.
Dimitri: Agreed. Let's come up with a better plan next time.
Support B - Perfect
Sylvain: Professor, don't you think we did pretty well? His Highness here did most of it.
Dimitri: No, it was not all my doing. We made it thanks to your help, Sylvain.
These occur only when you pair them for stable duty and sky watch, which would be both activities the pair would find common interests in due to their personal budding talents and canon classes. We can see that Dimitri wants Sylvain to take things seriously, and Sylvain takes a more playful approach. Sylvain will also comment on Dimitri learning to not shoulder everything on his own, calling back a bit to Sylvain’s concern over Dimitri not being able to relax.
Sylvain seems to be annoyed early on at Dimitri’s constant scolding, but this changes when their support improves, the two of them praising each other and hoping to improve together.
Now for Ingrid:
Stable Duty & Sky Watch
Support C
Sylvain: Ugh, I'm with Ingrid? I'm not gonna get away with anything.
Ingrid: Stop messing around and get moving. You don't work, you don't eat.
Support B
Sylvain: Hey, Ingrid, this kind of work is definitely your thing, and I've got some urgent business, so...
Ingrid: I can't finish this all alone. Try to be helpful sometimes, Sylvain.
Support A
Sylvain: Me and Ingrid? Hm, I guess I'll get to work.
Ingrid: Well now, a rare and welcome proclamation. You're a real sight to behold when you try to be.
Weeding
Sylvain: Weeds have it tough. They sprout then get ripped right out of the ground. I'll do my best to be gentle.
Ingrid: Are you seriously trying to seduce a weed? Unbelievable.
Sylvain: What? No! Come on. I was just talking to myself.
Clearing Rubble
Sylvain: If I had to clear this out by myself, I think even I would get depressed...
Ingrid: Fine, fine, I'm not going to leave it all for you.
Sylvain: Let's do it quick though...before I change my mind. I'll grab the heavy-looking chunks. You get the rest.
Results
Support C - Good
Ingrid: Ah, seems we've finally finished.
Sylvain: That's it! I'm done! No more work for me, especially not with her...not in a million years.
Support C - Perfect
Sylvain: Hey, we did pretty well. All because I really went for it, of course.
Ingrid: You're a glib one, aren't you, Sylvain? I did the bulk of the work here, you know...
Support B - Good
Sylvain: I wouldn't call it a rousing success, but it went OK, all things considered. Right?
Ingrid: Well, it went OK once I rolled up my sleeves and helped you.
Support B - Perfect
Sylvain: Heh... How's that, Professor? If ya ask me, I think we did pretty well.
Ingrid: Yes, Sylvain put his back into it for once. Next thing we know, pigs will be taking to the air.
Support A - Good
Sylvain: I don't want to complain since we did OK and all, but that could have gone a lot better.
Ingrid: I think so too... Next time, I'll try even harder.
Support A - Perfect
Ingrid: Professor, here's the report. Perfect, don't you think?
Sylvain: Ingrid and I go way back. If we couldn't manage to cooperate, then what would that say about us?
Sylvain and Ingrid have dialogue no matter what they do. We can see, especially in the stable and sky watch, that at first they don’t really get along. Sylvain is tired of Ingrid’s pestering and Ingrid is tired of Sylvain being lazy. But as their support goes up, we see that they get along better. Ingrid starts praising Sylvain, and Sylvain starts putting more effort in.
Sylvain also seems to be a bit melancholy about the weeds, noting that they start to take life before someone takes takes it away from them.
Finally, just some fun default stuff.
Uses keigo when speaking to
Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, Seteth, Hanneman, Manuela, Gilbert, Alois, Catherine, Shamir, Jeralt, Rhea, Jeritza, Anna
Spoken to with keigo by
Bernadetta, Dorothea, Petra, Ashe, Ignatz, Lysithea, Marianne, Flayn, Constance
“Keigo” is polite speech, used when addressing people who are in a station in life above you, whether in title or simply out of respect. For instance, he uses keigo for those who are older than him and teachers, like Manuela and Hanneman, and for those who are in higher stations, like Dimitri or Edelgard.
Those who speak keigo to him consider him of higher status, or someone worthy of respect. Looking at this list, I would say status.
Tea Party- Favorite Tea
The Tea Party is a pretty big section, so I won’t cover everything but I’ll try to touch on what seems important. Feel free to let me know if you notice more!
Anyways, Sylvain seems to have a pension for black teas, although not all black teas listed in the game. He prefers Bergamot Tea (commonly known as Earl Grey) which is popular among nobles (he shares this like with Edelgard, Lorenz, Hanneman, Constance, and Anna, most of whom are nobles, and in particular are nobles with particular taste) and Seiros Tea, another black tea that is actually from south Almyra, interestingly enough! He shares this like with Ferdinand, Lorenz, Ignatz, Yuri, and Anna. Both of these teas have a three star rarity- not the cheapest tea in the list, but not terribly rare either.
He will note that the tea is expensive if you give him an expensive tea, and perhaps seems a bit uncomfortable with you going out of your way.
This tea must have been expensive. I'm sorry if I made you go out of your way.
Tea Party- Talk
Sylvain has a number of quotes from talking, although most of them aren’t too terribly interesting. However, some have some great insight:
Is something wrong with my face? A bruise on my cheek? Heh... Nah, Professor. Everything's fine.
Everyone has their own reason to fight. At least I'm honest about mine.
Opera, art, literature, I love 'em. They always give you something to talk about.
Sometimes, I'm surprised how warm the monastery is. I wish my parents' home was like this.
Sylvain is an interesting guy because in some ways, he’s not honest and in others, he is. For instance, he insists that you do not worry about his injury. Don’t worry about him. He’s not being honest about any pain he has- this includes his distastes for a lot of women chasing him despite his philandering. However, he is honest in others in his world views. He’s a lot like Dimitri when it comes to trying to see the other side, as seen in “everyone has their own reason to fight”. This is displayed in his other quotes throughout the game too, although we won’t be touching on those.
As as per the gift of art he likes, we can see here that he’s actually very much into culture and art. He likes them, and likes to talk about them.
And finally, some insight into his family. Sylvain’s relationship with his father is complex (as per the Blue Lion tradition) and here we can see that he doesn’t view his family home as warm- both perhaps literally in that it’s a cold climate, and figuratively.
I won’t be going over the like options because there are too many, but I will take note of a few options that make him blush:
Working together...
The opera...
Cute monks...
Some insight things into Sylvain. Obviously, as he likes the opera, the topic of it will be among his favorite. Sylvain likes people working together (although he himself is a bit of a loner, he wants people to work together and talk things through like Dimitri does) and finally, the cute monks...
I’m taking special note of that because in English, traditionally monks are male. However, the game seems to use monks for both men and women (monks in Greek can be used for both), and the Japanese word used instead is 修道士. Someone with superior Japanese can correct me, but it would seem that this is a masculine word, used for men, especially when using the kanji  士, which means “gentlemen” or “samurai”.
However, as stated before, the game uses monk for both men and women. I checked the files and even the female monks use  修道士. So, while people claim this is proof he is bi, I would not call it a strong indicator personally (At this time I still think he has a thing for Felix, don’t get me wrong).
Advice Box
Part I
I wonder if I'll ever find a partner who understands I don't mean any harm when I flirt with others. Does someone like that really exist?
You're bound to meet someone open-minded someday.
That's a dream that will never come true.
Have you considered giving up on flirting?
I'm hesitant to invite a girl to my room in the middle of the night with You Know Who living right next door. I'm terrified of the scolding I'd get the next day.
Maybe I'll rethink the room assignments.
It makes sense that she would be angry with you.
Perhaps it's time you and I discussed your behavior.
Part II
I'm weary from this ceaseless fighting. I wonder if I'll ever meet a kind, beautiful young lady who can cure my hardened heart.
You will one day. I'm sure of it.
Save the dreams for when you're sleeping.
A woman like that wouldn't go for you.
All we do is battle. The fighting never stops, and it's turning everyone's disposition dour. Even the ladies! We should throw a banquet to lift everyone's spirit.
Good idea. I'll see what I can do.
It's too soon to let down our guard.
How selfless of you.
Part I notes aren’t too interesting, other than that Sylvain is worried about Dimitri (his neighbor in dorms) hearing his rendezvous with the ladies and getting a scolding.
Part II is more interesting. Sylvain’s second note is about lifting up everyone’s spirits regarding the war, and that throwing a banquet might help make everyone feel better. He prefers if Byleth agrees and will start to make arrangements, rather than getting praise for his selflessness.
And for now, that’s all! I will update as I go, but for now I hope you enjoyed this!
Suggestions and new info welcome.

THE POSITIVE & NEGATIVE; Mun & Muse - Meme.
fill out & repost ♥ This meme definitely favors canons more, but I hope OC’s still can make it somehow work with their own lore, and lil’ fandom of friends & mutuals. Multi-Muses pick the muse you are the most invested in atm.
tagged by:  @battleshell  ;  we all care blue, u do, i do, we all do tagging:  holy shit my whole dash because exorbitantly long memes are the BEST. i aint even sarcastic when i say that, i love this kind of shit. u GOTTA do it.
Tumblr media
my muse is:  canon / oc / au / canon-divergent / fandomless / complicated
Is your character popular in the fandom? YES / NO. [ he is in two fandoms, in fact. he is both a fan-favorite from super mario rpg, the very first in the line of mario rpgs we’ve gotten over the years, and a pretty popular smash bros. request. he even got a mii costume in 4 and a spirit in ultimate as a result of the love. he’s very beloved, to the point that i’d, even as a geno fan myself, deem him a bit overrated. why? b/c where is all the love for all the other smrpg characters!!! they are all good. i love them all. ]
Is your character considered hot™ in the fandom?  YES / NO / IDK. [ i mean ?? i’ve met and seen many people who have/had crushes on geno so ??????? but i don’t think it’s like. that. ghfskjhgsg??? ]
Is your character considered strong in the fandom?  YES / NO / IDK. [ oh yes, he is undeniably very strong, both in personality and in battle. he is often seen as the level-headed straight man of the party in smrpg (which, in the case of my geno, is... semi-applicable LMAO), a star spirit with unwavering bravery and confidence. his in-battle stats are also pretty crazy, favoring geno as a glass cannon and enemy sweeper. he is also the only character in the game to have a move that will insta-kill any enemy besides bosses. well, and exor. idk why exor, but there ya go. needless to say, pretty much everyone in the fandom agrees that geno is a powerful mfer. why wouldn’t a literal, living star be? ]
Are they underrated?  YES / NO / IDK. [ as i mentioned before, there is no shortage of him being underrated in the fanbase. i’d even say he’s a little overrated. some people treat smrpg as ‘that game with geno in it’ rather than everything else it has going for it. i love star boye as much as the next gal, but pls appreciate smrpg as a whole. it’s such a vibrant game with a colorful world of characters to love. ]
Were they relevant for the main story?  YES / NO. [ he is actually, completely central to the plot. the subtitle of smrpg is legend of the seven stars, which directly relates to geno’s core mission: to find the seven star pieces and restore star road. the rest of the gang had different ambitions, but they all ended up banding together over geno’s objective. one could argue he mostly is the exposition-granter and could be replaced with anyone else, but i feel he’s irreplaceable. smrpg would be so different without him, like it or not. ]
Were they relevant for the main character? YES / NO / THEY’RE THE PROTAG. [ i wouldn’t say he is the protagonist, obviously, as that is very much mario’s spot. that being said, he is a pretty obvious deuteragonist for smrpg, given how much the plot revolves around him. he’s relevant to mario, for sure, as well as peach, mallow, and bowser. he’s relevant to many characters beyond them. he represents the fight for everyone’s wishes to be able to come true. he’s, uh... very relevant rofl. ]
Are they widely known in their world? YES / NO. [ the star spirits are somewhat known in the mario universe as entities capable of granting wishes, kinda like fabled gods with a tinge more evidence and reality to them. geno himself isn’t a known name, not like the seven star spirits of star haven, but his people are decently known. he, however, is not. ]
How’s their reputation?  GOOD / BAD / NEUTRAL. [ he is basically the epitome of ‘good’ until you overthink star society like i do lol. not all wishes can be granted, what constitutes as a ‘good wish’ is subjective, why some good wishes still can’t be granted anyway, etc. it puts him more towards neutral good with a dash of lawful and an undercurrent of chaotic, given his rebellion against his superiors. ]
How strictly do you follow canon?  —  i mean, it isn’t hard to be strict to mario canon when there isn’t that much of a foundation to work with anyway lol. it’s all rather simplistic until you get into the nitty gritty of it ??? that said, geno is built on a lot of headcanon. like, a lot a lot. star society and its rules for star spirits of his kind, his relationship with rosalina (a matronly figure), his relationship with the seven star spirits, the fleshing-out of his basic personality traits shown in smrpg, etc.? headcanon upon headcanon.
SELL YOUR MUSE! Aka try to list everything, which makes your muse interesting in your opinion to make them spicy for your mutuals.  —  a star possessing the form of a children’s toy, like toy story but with more cosmic pew-pew. a chill and sassy guy still learning the ways of how earth (and other planets) work on a more intimate level, meaning there will be lots of adorkable moments as this curious one makes discoveries. sometimes attempts to innovate with what he learns to be ‘ahead of the curve’, leading to interesting results. (he likes to sip bubble tea, but replace the tapioca pearls with star bits. good result. mopping a counter-top because it would be ‘more efficient’? not-so-good result, got him lots of stares.) straight outta the 90′s, so be ready some of that rad 90′s slang and know-how from back in the day. (what do u mean they’re bringing back dunkaroos? that’d mean they stOPPED MAKING THEM?!?) very intrigued with new technology, became stuck to his smartphone upon discovering them, fell into the time-sink that is animal videos on youtube. he’s humble and likes to relax, have a good time, and relax w/ the squad. video games, netflix binges, the whole nine yards, he’s gotchu. he is a hell of a fighter and loves to fight, as well. help him push his abilities, and he’ll help you with yours.  likes being a little shit for fun, only to an extent (harmless moments of impishness, not serious, hurtful pranks). has a sense of humor that is easy to tickle, even with stupid dad jokes and classic puns. the brother-friend that will fire lasers at ur enemies for u. likes to play violin. cute. super cutie. v. tiny in his star form. almost five whole feet of sparkly, twinkly fun. likes super soakers.
Now the OPPOSITE, list everything why your muse could not be so interesting (even if you may not agree, what does the fandom perhaps think?).  —  despite intrigue to learn more about the world around him, there is only so much that he does know. societal norms are often beyond him, and there are just so, so many earth hobbies he is not aware of. without handing him a bone, it makes him a little more limited than someone who’s more savvy. he is prime slice-of-life material, but that may also make things rather dull in an rp without an extra twist to spice things up. (thankfully, his being a total SNOT sometimes helps with that.) in canon and strictly in canon, geno doesn’t really have much personality, something that this geno has plenty more fleshed out. a good chunk of fandom finds him to be incredibly boring and droll, to which i personally disagree, as there are little things in smrpg that hint towards him having more to explore.
What inspired you to rp your muse?  —  funnily enough, seeing smash bros. fandom railing on geno fans + hyping him up all at the same time made me revisit smrpg after having only played it as a teenager. i expected geno to be a boring slate of nothing like fandom often portrays him, but i found that i was terribly wrong. with a newfound perspective on him, noting little details that defied my expectations for this li’l guy, i decided to give him a geno whirl and see what kind of expansion i could do with his character. the amount of lore i came up with him and started wondering about piled on and on and on, and i realized that he had so much more potential than what nintendo and square properly tapped into. (some of it is also a matter of being timely, though, meaning later mario materials such as rosalina, star haven, etc.) i wanted to flex out that potential and see how much i could fill this little doll up with, and lo and behold, i rp him today with extensive amounts of development poured into him with love. to put it simply, there was so much untapped potential that i wanted to share with the world, to show geno the love and in-depth exploration that he deserved, to show that he was more than what he was given.
What keeps your inspiration going?  —  chattering about mario lore with pals, whether it relates to geno or not, reading, watching shows or videos that remind me of him, learning more about cosmology and the universe we live in (and boy, i’ve learned a lot of neat stuff!), revisiting my childhood (the 90′s) since it’s very geno-appropriate, drawing The Boye, literally anything to do with playing, watching, or doing ANYTHING with smrpg/paper mario 64/smg1&2, and probs a lot more. i’ve got a lot of fuel in me for this guy lol.
Some more personal questions for the mun.
Give your mutuals some insight about the way you are in some matters, which could lead them to get more comfortable with you or perhaps not.
Do you think you give your character justice?  YES / NO / I SINCERELY HOPE I DO? [ on one hand, of course i hope that i do! on the other hand, i mean... nintendo and square don’t do jack for him, so i think almost anyone can do him more justice than they have, lbr. it’s... not hard... :’) ]
Do you frequently write headcanons?  YES / NO / SORT OF? [ ok i gotta just copy-paste what blue said in her response because my god, she nailed it: “you know when you have a concept and in your own mind you can see it clearly, without fuzziness or confusion, but you can’t seem to put it clearly into words without it turning into an essay because you need to connect all the other points that’s in the single concept you envisioned? yea.” basically, this but in spades, because i have a huge amount of headcanon and lore that i’ve either not gotten around to writing about yet or am purposefully staving off (wink wink). i have written a lot for him, though! it’s just... comparatively so little to what all i’ve thought up over-time. ]
Do you sometimes write drabbles?  YES / NO [ not! often! enough!!! ]
Do you think a lot about your Muse during the day? YES / NO [ all i know is fine dining, breathing, and adorkable starman. ]
Are you confident in your portrayal? YES / NO / SORT OF? [ funny enough, i’m pretty damn confident in my portrayal, albeit still very modest. i mean, i am at least confident that i give depth to a character that had so little, and i feel like geno is just... real. (not literally ofc i mean like, he FEELS realistic.) he’s got character perks, character flaws, strengths, weaknesses, personal issues, ongoing obstacles, relatable themes where appropriate, interests, knowledge (or lack thereof), daily routines... i could go on. if nothing else, i at least feel good about trying to make geno feel less like some exposition character and more like a person. considering he wants to achieve personhood that most of his kind never gets to find, it’s oddly poetic lmao. ]
Are you confident in your writing?  YES / NO. [ eehhhhh. i mean, i guess it’s fiiiIIINE, but i often feel like i lack a certain pizzazz, something that’ll keep people interested and intrigued with what i write, giving enough material for them to adequately bounce back. on the same token, i like to babble with my prose, so i often worry about going on and on and on way too much. stale, quantity over quality, substance-less writing is what i fuss over the most. ;; ]
Are you a sensitive person?  YES / NO. / SORTA. [ sensitive to empathy and other peoples’ emotions, yes. i’m an insanely empathetic person, and i have a lot of love to give. that said, with only few exceptions, i have a pretty iron-clad skin. sometimes, i daresay it’s to the point that i often misjudge what other people can take, and i feel i can end up being too harsh and forward. that being said, it is also a good thing at times. harsh or not, if i feel a certain way about something, i make that shit known and i make it known as loud as it necessarily should be. i don’t beat around the bush; rather, if i have a beef, i will make that beef known. consequently, if i have love to give, you damn well better be ready to swim in a pool of hearts and your favorite kind of cookie (if applicable). ]
Do you accept criticism well about your portrayal?  —  as long as it isn’t complaints with lack of substance/reasoning, yes! even if i may not always agree and may take things with a grain of salt, i am insanely receptive to criticism, even over the pickiest things. it’s something i’ve grown used to due to prior rp venues being particularly harsh. i will never throw a fit or act like a child if there is something i could do better with geno. in fact, there always will be! i’m not perfect, and i love to hear about ways i can improve and do better. it’s paramount in a hobby like this.
Do you like questions, which help you explore your character?  —  LET’S-A FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
If someone disagrees to a headcanon of yours, do you want to know why?  —  sure, i’d love to know! it can make for some neat conversation!! c:
If someone disagrees with your portrayal, how would you take it?  —  that’s a’ight. i’m sure there are things about my geno that won’t resonate with everyone, especially given he’s a very sentimental character for old fogies like me lol. as long as there is no disrespect thrown this way, it’s all good. this stuff is subjective, after all.
If someone really hates your character, how do you take it?  —  oh, a lot of people really hate geno lol, but i’m guessing this means personal portrayal only. in such a case, i would be curious as to why, admittedly, but i acknowledge that i am not owed anyone’s reasoning. if they really, absolutely hate my geno, then it’s their prerogative, whether they want to give a reason why or not. again, it’s all good unless immaturity and disrespect rears its head. i won’t tolerate that and will ignore any such behavior.
Are you okay with people pointing out your grammatical errors?  —  sure, it happens to the best of us!
Do you think you are easy going as a mun?   —  i’d like to think that i am! i’ve often had people tell me that i’m very nice and mature, but of course, i have no right to say how i come off to other people. that is not in my territory to judge, only theirs. that being said, it’s not easy to upset me or anger me, and i’m more often willing to listen and pal around than not. i’m the living embodiment of (shrug). i am just (shrug).

GET TO KNOW THE BLOGGER.
Can be used for RP and non-RP blogs to get to know a bit about the person behind the screen!
Tumblr media
1. FIRST NAME: Jonathon! But you can call me Jawn. Or Jon. Or Dumb Blonde. Or Montgomery Salamackia. I don’t really care.
2. STRANGE FACT ABOUT YOURSELF: I am extremely double jointed. I can turn my hands around to do the owl-glasses thing on my head, I can bend my thumb back to my wrist, I can put my leg behind my back, the whole nine yards.
3. TOP THREE PHYSICAL THINGS YOU FIND ATTRACTIVE ON A PERSON: Eyes, voice and lips.
4. A FOOD YOU COULD EAT FOREVER AND NOT GET BORED OF: Baked Cheddar Ruffle chips. I could eat five bags right now and I’m not even joking. They are a godsend and I can live off them for the rest of my life. Incidentally, if I did that, I’d probably only live to 30. So.
5. A FOOD YOU HATE: Onion. Period. It’s just not good, man.
6. GUILTY PLEASURE:  I... don’t think I have one? I like what I like, I love what I love. I have no shame in liking or loving them either. Don’t see much point.
7. WHAT DO YOU SLEEP IN: My skin and whatever is on it!
8. SERIOUS RELATIONSHIPS OR FLINGS: Serious relationships. I’m actually demisexual, so flings for me don’t work out for me. I am physically incapable of just having a one night stand or somesuch. And if there is an emotional connection between me and someone I’m going to have a “fling” with, it wouldn’t be a fling to me anymore, because I probably have feelings for them at that point. And I think the idea of a fling is you part ways after some “fun”, right? So. Yeah. I put way too much thought into this answer, BUT HERE WE ARE.
9. IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN THE PAST AND CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT YOUR LIFE, WOULD YOU AND WHAT WOULD IT BE: Nothing. Everything I’ve done up to this point or that has happened to me, has happened for a reason. I am who I am because of my experiences. --that said, i might go back and stop me from eating some food that gave me the worst food poisoning ever, but i digress.
10. ARE YOU AN AFFECTIONATE PERSON: Yes! But only towards friends and loved ones.
11. A MOVIE YOU COULD WATCH OVER AND OVER AGAIN: Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
12. FAVORITE BOOK: To Kill A Mockingbird. I’m not an avid reader as I used to be, but that book has always stuck with me. I could read it over and over again, especially on a rainy day in or otherwise.
13. YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO KEEP ANY ANIMAL AS A PET, WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE: A cheetah. Or a bear. Both.
14. TOP FIVE FICTIONAL SHIPS [IF YOU ARE AN RP BLOG, YOU CAN USE YOUR OWN SHIPS AS WELL]:  Riku/Kairi, Riku/Aqua, Deadpool/Rogue, Deadpool/Domino, Deadpool/Cable, Carol Danvers/Jessica Drew, Edward Elric/Sakura. Yes I put way more than 5. No I don’t care.
15. PIE OR CAKE: bOTH. STOP ASKING ME TO PICK. IT’S NAUGHTY.
16. FAVORITE SCENT:  Vanilla and cherry blossoms. Also Lavender. And Jasmine. And lots others. It’s hard to say, because I have a hyper sensitive nose and love lots of smells.
17. CELEBRITY CRUSH: Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff and Jensen Ackles. Have you SEEN these people? GOD. WOW! WOWOWOWOW! wow.
18. IF YOU COULD TRAVEL ANYWHERE, WHERE WOULD YOU GO: New Zealand, Philippines, Australia, England, France, Germany, Sweden--pretty much everywhere. But mostly where my greatest friends are!
19. INTROVERT OR EXTROVERT: Extroverted introvert. I think. It depends. It’s Complicated-ert.
20. DO YOU SCARE EASILY: Yes, someone scared me the other day and I died. It’s a real shame.
21. IPHONE OR ANDROID: IPhone. This is coming from someone who has an Android and they have SO MANY PROBLEMS. GOD.
22. DO YOU PLAY ANY VIDEO GAMES: Yes. Not as much as I used to ironically, but that’s me being careful with my spending. I find that most modern games that call themselves “Triple AAA” experiences are either disappointments or bore the fuck out of me. Or I finish them way too quick. And there goes 70-80 bucks. But I do play all my old games, I consider myself someone engrossed and informed of most of what goes on in the gaming industry as a whole.
23. DREAM JOB: Becoming a screen writer for a gaming company in the future, specifically for CD Projekt Red.
24. WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH A MILLION DOLLARS: Give a lot of it to my folks who rightfully deserve more than a million dollars, help them get a proper house of their own and whatnot. Pay off all my friends’ debts, help them get a proper foothold in life and so on. I really wouldn’t want much of it for myself, other than to pay maybe a year’s worth of rent and. food.
25. FICTIONAL CHARACTER YOU HATE: This is tricky. Because honestly, I don’t really HATE any characters that I’m not meant to hate, because bad writing and such goes to the writers’ fault. Not the character. That makes me sound boring, but WELL THAT’S HOW THE COOKIE CRUMBLES. If I had to pick one? Xehanort, I guess. Horrible man that fucking ruined so many lives. He can perish.
26. FANDOM THAT YOU WERE ONCE A PART OF BUT AREN’T ANY LONGER: A lot. Supernatural, Anime, Comics, Nintendo, etc.
