#I had no idea what to search for with Gabu's outfits

They’re already wearing modern clothing. 

Alright then, here’s my take...

I agree that Yuki seems like a athleisure type of lady, like so:

Much of her outfits are both convenient and comfortable, often in neutral colours or shades of pink.

Hear me out: Kiku wears lolita.

Especially shades of purple and blue, with ribbons and bows in her hair.

Makoto would have a variety of styles with a vast wardrobe, with outfits ranging from girly to sporty (her canon outfit being a combination of the two). 

Whether she looks ready to go to a tea party or go punch someone in the face depends wholly on her mood.

Kyoichi also wears athleisure at times, often wearing dark outfits with yellow accents. Other times he dresses pretty smartly, especially for school / work.

Koei would wear the modern equivalent of  a ninja outfit; composed of green / black hoodies with masks.

People advise Koei to wear some outfit that “blends in” more. Koei insists he blends in just fine. Into the shadows.

I’m not too sure about Arthur, so have a bunch of green outfits I could see him wear. He dresses like a messy geek when in guise, but wears very smart and neat outfits in his real persona, which gives him an imposing vibe.

Taiga has an interesting combination of a neat and gothic style. Most outfits are in shades of grey and deep blue, and he has several shark themed accessories.

Gabu would dress like a total edge lord, with a very punk and emo vibe. The edgier, the better (according to him). Owns a lot of dark tank tops / shirts with edgy quotes on them. Lots of studded outfits and leather, unless / until his parents confiscate them.

Much like his brother, Gabu also owns shark themed accessories. He also owns a black bat necklace, and post X-zone it creeps Taiga out. Gabu took full advantage of this, and one time pranked Taiga by hanging it on the bathroom doorframe so it got caught on Taiga’s face next time he walked in. His screams were heard throughout the house. Their parents grounded Gabu for that afterwards.

As for Sho, Kakeru and Ayumu... I think their canon outfits already give us a good idea. I feel like Sho would just pull on whatever in the morning without checking in the mirror, and sometimes his mom sends him back to his room to put on something that has some sense when he shows up with mismatched socks. 

Kakeru has a number of shirts which he chooses based on comfort rather than style, and has a tendency to wear his favourite ones all the time until they’re completely worn out and his mom makes him wear new ones. They often have simple patterns on them (stripes, plaid, etc). He sometimes wears 'em with overalls.

Ayumu is the total opposite of his brother and dresses very neatly, spending some time in front of the mirror every morning to check his clothes and hair making sure he looks presentable. But he also likes to wear oversized sweaters and shirts, which his mom buys for him to grow into / Sho outgrows and doesn’t use anymore.

Meanwhile, Hosuke:

He will wear anything girls put on him.

What modern clothing do you guys imagine the characters would wear?
