*pumps fist* got my mark raised on an assignment because I asked the prof yesterday what I could do to improve it after he didn't give me specific feedback, and he seemed to have a sort of windows startup moment when he realized he didn't know what exactly he was docking me marks on hlglksdfjk
#not what I expected but I am happy with the outcome lol#sounds like some of my classmates may have gotten their marks raised too so yippee#I had a superfluous comma I needed to take out but he didn't dock marks for it!! happy :D#school#tbh he's not a bad instructor. super friendly and finds a way to make his course material interesting even if it has the potential to be#super dry#when i talked to him he seemed to say that he would rethink some of his marking practices so that's cool#also he has a cat named george. when we went online one week due to everyone being sick he had his zoom screensaver set as a photo of georg#and the caption of the img said something like#'george and [instructor name] will be right back' lol#every single one of my instructors has a cat and every single one of them introduced their cat before the syllabus on the first day of clas#which is extremely funny to me
