*I say as I wear the jacket Steve Harrington wears, he didn’t even make it into tech btw*
#I had a Steve Harrington Moment™️ with my dad earlier and then ranted about it to my hubby#he pretty much compared me to our neighbor who is a year older than me and is type a perfectionist#and she went to yale and now she bought her on house like good for her to be honest#anyways how it went down was my dad was asking about how far we are on paying off debt and saving#and blablabla rent and buying and saving etc#and he cut in saying my neighbor just bought a house in Connecticut#I said that’s cool I’m happy for her#then he says yeah well she went to Yale#and I’m like ok cool *not caring at this point because I knew what was coming*#and he’s like she’s smart!#instead of bickering and defending myself I just let it go#I haven’t seen her since high school that was like 12 years ago lol#but then I go off ranting about how my dad basically compared me to my neighbor#I’m only human so yes it did hurt but at the same time I don’t care#it’s just rude to bring that up when I’m going thru a rough time both financially and mentally#I’m living in my parents basement like I’m grateful for that but I don’t deserve to be disrespected#but yeah I totally relate to Steve because my dad is a grade a asshole and my mom is super well respected for some reason idk lol#and this is why love Steve lol
