It is insane to me when someone says they've re-read my work, but weekly?? It's so wild to me that people like, actually enjoy my writing, especially to that degree. This past year has been so like, validating for the 25 years I've been at this (I mean, I'd be writing even if no one read any of it, but it's been really nice!).

My October Scorpio crimes weighed heavy, thank you for absolving me (I will use this absolution to commit more crimes). And I dunno if I'm the first person to speak up, and often someone else is going to say it better and more meaningfully than I can, but like, fandom is a community, and we all have a part to play.

And yeah, I think that diversity in fiction is just a thing that you should do, because that's what the world looks like. It's a cop out to say, oh, I don't know enough to do this character justice.
