yeah streamers au!!!!! :D i'm thinking all of them also upload their own videos on youtube too, but some originated as streamers and some as youtubers (more streamer au hcs under!!)

like i said in the other post, i think zelda would be analogous to someone like pokimane or valkyrae, and does variety/just talking streams. i don't think she would take advantage of or even be aware of her simps/e-girlism, she's actually very sweet and a just bit naive :'>. she probably already collaborates a lot with urbosa, and has on done a video or two with mipha. i would say she probably started off streaming first and then eventually starting doing youtube to post her vods, then make her own videos

mipha would kinda be like the qtcinderella and urbosa would be like. corpsehusband lowk ☝️😳 mipha does a lot of cutesy stuff like acnh and stardew valley playthroughs, maybe cooking & baking videos, and also like lifestyle videos like GRWM or 'day in the life' vlogs. her first video was a first aid video because she wanted to be a pediatrician when she was younger 🥺 urbosa started off as a youtuber and is one of those like old legendary youtubers who's still around so she's seen the rise and fall of the internet fr. she's very wise and she's zelda's favorite youtuber growing up, role model, and mentor 🥺 mipha probably also watched some of urbosa's videos growing up and cites urbosa as one of her inspirations when she started her own youtube channel :)

revali absolutely started off as a streamer but he excels as a youtuber, as expected. he does a lot of speedrun or challenge streams/videos of video games and i lowkey think that he has beaten quite a few speedrun records, only bested by link who he has an ongoing rivalry with because they keep beating each other's records. revali mostly does stream highlight videos, but every once in a while he'll do a fun little collab video with someone else or on the rare occasion, a vlog or a grwm 😧 someone asked him how he keeps his hair so nice on stream and he was so proud he ended up making a whole video about his haircare routine, what products he uses, etc HAHAHA

link is definitely the type of guy who made dumb little videos as a kid but eventually evolved into a full-fledged content creator with high quality videos and excellent ideas. he definitely does a lot of nintendo game videos (people adore his acnh playthrough series and his collabs with mipha 🥺), but i think he would also upload a lot of like. scenic videos of places he's traveled to or hiked at because he's pretty good at filming and editing. link def found his love for streaming and speedrunning on accident by, get this— watching one of revali's streams 😳😳😳 but he forgets that it was by revali 😭 link is like, This looks fun I want to try, so he does and is actually really good at it. so he ends up streaming the same exact games that revali did and beating his records, and revali would get pissed that his records were getting broken, and thus the rivalry was born!

what daruk does as a streamer or youtube still escapes me though like i just don't know what he would do. i can't even see him streaming KDJHFKJD like what would he do? maybe make reviews videos about old gaming systems, retro games, or reviews on his favorite restaurants or something LOL feel free to offer any ideas for him bc i'm lost lowkey

He thought you had been sleeping on his bed while he was playing so he got into bed and cuddled you only to realize, one hour into the cuddle session, that you weren’t even home yet and that he had been cuddling a lump of clothing. He promised himself to never tell you about this but he forgot to turn his camera off and you found out while you were editing his video. You had to conduct a full blown interrogation in order to get him to confess to what actually went down. 

Yaku Morisuke

You two went to the mall one day because he wanted to buy a new jacket for practice so you went to the sports department. An employee came to help you and you realised that he had been showing kids clothing when Yaku exited the dressing room dawning a 10-12 year old sports jacket which he thought was very stylish and made his eyes pop. When you explained to the employee that Yaku was almost an adult he deadass looked at you for a whole ass minute before apologizing to Yaku and moving on. Yaku joked that they would think that you were some type of creep as you proceeded to use violence to shut him up.

Atsumu Miya

He got drunk during a party after one of their major victories and you went to get him so he wouldn’t like, jump out of some window and break his neck. You, however, got there just in time to see your boyfriend butt ass naked on the second story balcony of the house the party was held in, screaming at the top of his lungs that he dedicates this leap of faith to his girlfriend before proceeding to jump into the pool that was under him. The video was uploaded onto youtube with a shot of you, face palming yourself the moment his feet left the ledge.

Happened at the same party, he was also drunk af but he wasn’t doing anything dangerous, he was just laughing at his twins’ antics when you came and just looped your arm through his, leaning on his shoulder since everything was kinda turning. He ripped his arm away from you saying that, and I quote “Get your hoe hands off of me, I have a girlfriend.” He then proceeded to flick his wrist and walk away and into a glass door. You didn’t know if you should be touched or offended. 

Suna Rintarou

You had trusted him with babysitting your fish tank while you were on vacation with your family. He realized that he forgot to feed your fish only when one of them started floating and he kinda lost his shit. So he overfed them which resulted in them not being able to move when you got home. You asked him where Nemo was and with a serious expression he said that Nemo escaped through your toilet drain. 

Ushijima Wakatoshi

For a long ass time he didn’t understand sarcasm so whenever you would say something cheeky he would just answer with a dead panned expression or a very very serious answer. So one time you were arguing with Tendou when you said “Bite me” so this little shit answered with a very smug look on his face “I haven’t gotten my rabies shot yet.” The next day Ushi told you that he had arranged an appointment for a rabies shot at the local hospital.

Semi Eita

You were getting a pad so you could change when Semi manhandled you to take the candy you were holding. When you told him that it was a pad he didn’t believe you and he had to wrestle you to take it. Seeing that it was actually a pad he looked you dead in the eyes with a very disappointed look on his face and just threw it away without a second thought. 

Tendou Satori

You had gone out to dinner with your parents and your dad was telling yall a story when the fateful phrase of “So I was standing there.” and from across the table a very low “Barbeque sauce on my titties” was heard. Everyone looked at your brother before your mom scolded the poor kid for something he didn’t say. You and Tendou were just staring at each other, a silent plea for forgiveness and mercy leaving your boyfriends’ lips as you glared at him. 

Oikawa Tooru

You had been quarantined together and everything was going fine, surprisingly, until you ran into Tooru in the dead of night eating a ketchup sandwich on the kitchen floor while watching ASMR videos on youtube. When you asked him what he is doing he answered that he got hungry and since yall didn’t have anything tasty to eat he is watching these videos imagining that he is the one eating that fried chicken wing.

You thought he was awake because my mans was keeping a full fleshed conversation going until you said something bad about yourself and he lost it. ahh anon u flatter me!! thank you for your kind words!!! i honestly have ways to go, but it means a lot that u say this thank you 

so for starters i have a mac + photoshop cs5 so a lot of this tutorial will be based on what you do for that, but i’m sure u could do the same thing on pcs  (actually pcs have more programs available so i highly recommend, if u have a pc, finding a tutorial that is based around pcs) and other photoshop versions too! but i think the general process is still the same, a different tutorial might just be more nuanced^^

1. Finding/downloading your video~so for normal mp4 videos on youtube i use this website. it’s pretty useful it can download from actually a wide variety of sites like naver (up till 1080p!) ~for v app videos i use this site~ts files i find on kpopexciting or kpop24hrs (u need an account for kpop24hrs i think to download video but! signing up isnt difficult and its nothing fishy. i use it a lot esp for older ts files it has a good archive, kpopexciting tends to be faster though.)~the higher quality files you find the better! i find that it tends to go mp4~honestly finding the right high quality video is a HUGE part of making gifs look nice2. Extracting your video~there are many many many ways to extract your video but I highly recommend downloading avisynth! There are ways to download it for pc! avisynth is beautiful because it doesn’t really reduce the quality of your video to the extent that photoshop does, plus it can extract 60fps from ts files. some gifs ive made through avisynth ( x x x ) if you’re interested in avisynth further, tumblr user @/brandinator is a good place to start! if you want to know more regarding how to use it and a different tutorial through that, let me know! ~now i’m not sure if there is an avisynth tutorial for mac anymore, BUT theres another great program, vapoursynth, that mac users can look into. here’s a tutorial that i’ve found~Before I got avisynth I used VLC player for ts files but I had to basically screenshot each frame individually. Some gifs I’ve made through this method ( x x x ). these gifs are 60fps only bc i found a user who uploaded the ts file in 60fps. usually you cant get 60fps w/o avisynth. but this is also me saying that if you cant get avisynth or vapoursynth, there are still ways to work around it i think! one of my fav giffers for the longest time didnt use either!! and sharpening and coloring were always on point.~I think pcs can use kmplayer? id look into that if you have a pc~for normal mp4 videos I just use photoshops ‘import video frames to layers’ option (under file in the menubar)! you can use avisynth as well, but for me it takes forever to extract what i want in avisynth (minimum like a minute ish), whereas ps can get the part of the video i want to gif in a couple of seconds. I think it’s self explanatory but basically you find the video you want to extract, find where u want ur gif to start, and for photoshop cs5, you hit the ‘shift’ key and let the part u want giffed in the video play. when youre done u lift the shift key and hit ‘ok’ (idk if it differs for different versions of ps). i extract all!!! frames!! it makes it look smoother too :)

3. Coloring/Sharpening/Cropping/Etc~now this is the step that I can’t really give a tutorial on because honestly it varies for everyone! but i feel that this is the step that a lot of ppl need guidance with (me included) because it is the hardest step, probably because it is so ‘up in the air’ for lack of a better word? there is no one right way of doing it the possibilities are literally endless but here are some tips~Coloring:       ~most important rule: don’t whitewash ur gifs!!       ~other than that, the world is yours.       ~honestly have fun with this part! coloring is something that i haven’t fully learned yet       ~i tend to play around mainly with the curves, selective color, hue/saturation, and color balance layers       ~you can also download psds other ppl have made (i dont do this myself) and use those!      ~also i feel that a lot of the times, the right coloring can make ur gif seem higher quality. coloring can also play a role in reducing gif size if u do it correctly.      ~honestly this part is just a lot of experimentation, over the course of a gifset and over the course of time in general. some people find their coloring style easily, but i was not one of those people. ive spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to adjust what layers to get the colors that i want and i think only as of this era ive been able to execute the coloring i had pictured in my mind. so patience is a virtue!!! ~Sharpening:      ~ah yes my biggest enemy: sharpening      ~first things first, i sharpen my gifs using smart sharpen + topaz                  ~settings for my smart sharpen are 500%; 0.4                 ~check the box that says ‘more accurate’ and i personally remove ‘gaussian blur’      ~some people also use topaz denoise, and/or topaz clean     ~ honestly topaz is a lifesaver for me bc it smoothes out a lot of grain that can be introduced via coloring! also!!! it can reduce gif size by a lot!!!!!!!!!!!          ~on topaz denoise i hit the ‘light’ setting on the side and adjust the settings accordingly          ~idk how to use topaz clean even though I have it, because it refuses to work          ~to apply topaz you have to hit ‘flatten frames into layers’                ~some gifs i’ve made with just topaz and no avisynth ( x  x x x)        ~there are ways to make it look nice without topaz but i’ve forgotten how after i got it               ~id duplicate the frame then use smart sharpen and ‘gaussian blur’ under ‘blur’                       ~then adjust the opacity levels in some way.                       ~my settings for the opacity levels aren’t good so i’ll refrain from sharing               ~some gifs ive made through this method ( x x )        ~last but not least i’ll bring up avisynth again. avisynth is nice at preserving video quality                 ~a lot of ppl i know say they don’t even sharpen gifs out of avisynth                 ~here are some gifs i have made with avisynth + topaz ( x x x x x x x )    ~honestly when it comes to sharpening, im still floundering with it. my sharpening needs a lot of work but, amongst the people who i consider good sharpners, most of them use avisynth, topaz denoise and/or clean, and smart sharpen! so all the resources are here !

~Cropping:     ~it’s super important to follow tumblr dimensions otherwise gifs come out looking grainy! even when they’re not ! (case in point: x in which i used 168 instead of 178 for the dimensions)~Timing:   ~Timing is so important!!! I almost forgot!! Always make sure u dont have duplicate frames for starters! for 60fps source videos i use .03, for mp4s i typically use .04 but sometimes the frame rate is kinda funky so you may have to go slower accordingly! and the important thing about timing is that if u use smart object, when u save ur gif, it’ll be in a different timing? like .04 gets changed to .07 but in order to fix that, u can simply just save ur gif in the wrong timing, and then reopen the gif in ps, simply change the timing to what u want on all ur frames, and then save it again!! idk if that made any sense but laskdjf this was the biggest mystery for me for so long omg4. Saving the gif~personally the save settings I use are “Selective/Adaptive” ; “Diffusive”; Dither: 100%; 256 colors. sometimes this makes the gif super grainy so i use “pattern” instead of “diffusive” in those instances5. Pray Perseverance   ~a lot of the time when you’re giffing, gifs won’t come out the way you want it (i’m sure for every gifset i’ve uploaded on tumblr, there’s a gifset that i started making and never finished because it looked really bad). idk sometimes it feels like photoshop has its own will, sharpenings wont always work the same way each time, video quality won’t be the way you want it, i’m honestly still very experimental right now I don’t have ps figured out at all. so yeah��sometimes all u can do is that when u hit that save for web button (that ruins everything alskf), pray that ps doesnt mess it up too bad ahahaha but also that even when it does, its okay and you can try again! or try something new!

So. I have a theory that Bigfoot (part time moonshine connoisseur, full time hipster. he has a man bun and cutoff booty jorts to prove it), Mothman (never actually talks, mostly communicates in shrieks and judgmental glares), and the Last Unicorn (Youtube Gamer Girl who exclusively drinks redbull) are all Youtube buddies and collab all the time. Bigfoot has a prank channel where he uploads vlogs where he messes with the latest “Bigfoot Hunters”, The Last Unicorn plays a lot of hardcore gamer games can you tell how much of a gamer i am, creepy or weird or underrated Indie games, and a ton of Among Us, and Mothman does a lot of weird slime videos that don’t ever have much to do with slime and include a lot of ominous staring from dark shadows (his subscribers LOVE his vibe and go absolutely nuts when he ends up scarring some random passerby who dared inerrupt the SLIME VIDEO). They all do a weekly Minecraft video on their shared server and sometimes they have guest appearances from other cryptids

Ive constructed the plot for a 90’s era comedy movie bouncing around in my head after discussing this topic extensively with a couple friends over lunch one day. It involves the Cryptid Trio (gonna need to come up with a proper name for them eventually, it will probably be the name of their minecraft server too) going to New York as tourists where absolutely nobody blinks an eye at them. One guy even goes as far as to comment that Bigfoot’s “costume” should have “bigger feet” and that the man bun “looks stupid”. The Last Unicorn raids a drugstore for Redbull and jalapeño cheetos and now has the police after her. Mothman just really enjoys New York style pizza.

What should have been the main “plot” is a pair of hardcore supernatural investigators are tailing them through New York but all of their “evidence” keeps getting destroyed or lost due to random New York Happenings. One guy gets a great picture of them in Central Park but a cyclist runs into him and he falls in a pond and loses the pictures. The other guy gets a video but the camera is stolen on the subway. They’re about to spring a trap for one of the main trio and a taxi driver springs it first and cusses them out on the curb while the cryptids continue walking calmly in the background. At some point the team up with a pair of police detectives but they still keep getting foiled by dumb stuff.

The best part is?

Bigfoot is livestreaming the whole time. The Whole Time! and you can just barely see the Supernatural Investigators and NYPD in the background getting attacked by pigeons or something. And the Cryptid Trio’s whole trip is just them getting into dumb touristy hijinks and confusing the locals.

Hello my mates! 18 Castaways are left. So, the Swap happened and I am okay with my tribe so far. I get along well with Emily, but I'm a bit concerned that she picked Kai to stay on her team. I'm cautious around him. I'm back with Amanda and I don't really trust her anymore lol, but for now it's best to stick together, especially after what she's been through in the vote. So I'm definitely happy with this new tribe. Lily, Jordan and Nicholas are all people I wanted to work with on Hippolyta so for them to all be here means that we can lose a challenge and probably be okay! Omg SO I just got out of my American History class and we have been talking about WWII so my teacher is talking about double agents and this guy called Garbo and I’m literally sitting in class thinking ... this is a genius strategy to use in Survivor I’m crying!!! So like basically I’m going to be Garbo, posing as a German and feeding the Germans accurate information up until D-Day where I fuck everything up for the Germans and get right with the British. D-Day meaning ... the day we take out Germany's closest ally. Germany meaning literally any person I want to screw over and British being ... probably Logan and whomever Logan and I want to work with. See like this would work out better if things were actually happening in the game wkwjwjnsja ... I don’t think much is happening on my tribe (at least I hope not) like I haven’t been put into any alliances so that’s :-/ there’s probably an alliance I don’t know about and they’re plotting against me and I won’t even be able to use my cute Garbo strategy. I actually had a lot of fun filming for the challenge! Wish I could've gotten that bass line down a little better...smh I'm really surprised about Jordan. He's like a Sour Patch Kid -- first they're sour, then they're sweet. I just hosted him in Island of Shade and it's funny how I went from literally having his bitch ass blocked after House of Shade 9 to now where we're allies and kind of...friends? He's really matured in the couple of years we've known each other and it's actually really sweet to see. I do feel like he's a great ally for me because he's stronger than me in competitions and I crush him in any endgame scenario presuming I don't totally bungle my social game at the merge (and there's a non-zero chance of that happening tbqh). He's a genuinely good person even if he is kind of irritating at times. I'm like six years older than him so of course I'm gonna find him irritating lmao. Can't really say much about anyone else on this new tribe. Just not getting a great vibe from Raymond, Jack hasn't really tried to talk to me, and I trust Lily and Nicholas but they're both pretty inactive. I feel like Jordan and I are kind of the heart of this tribe right now, which hopefully means if we do lose this challenge we'll be safe. I just really hope someone I wanted to work with in this game doesn't get swapfucked tomorrow! :(

okay so going into tribal tonight i feel good! i have my og hippo alliance of 4 and then i have good enough bonds with raymond and jack to where i dont think that they would come for me if given the chance. the logical thing to do is to vote out someone who didn't contribute on the challenge, but i know that isn't going to happen because if the og hippo alliance falls apart then that leaves a lot of room for uncertainty. however i do know if we go to tribal more than 1 more time after this i will be the next one to leave the game because i am the lowest on the totem pole for the og hippo alliance. it sucks and i don't want to do it but i think i have no choice but to vote with the hippos damnit

Do you do careless things like spill nail polish on your nightstand?             All of the time! I annoy myself sometimes because of that. 

How are you today? I am okay, a little bit stressed because I have an exam on Monday and it's a lot to study for but I´ll get through it, eventually. When someone messages you and you know it’s going to be rude, do you ignore it and not read it, or do you read it and reply?                                       I will probably read it and reply, trying to ease everything. But it also depends on the person and situation.               

Do you find online drama stressful? Well, some are annoying, some scare me and some are just stupid. I try to not witness them and avoid being part of it. 

How stressful is your life? At the moment it is stressful but I will get worse in November because of all the exams I will be writing.

Do you like your hair better curly or straight? I prefer wavy/curly but my hair is naturally straight and it takes a lot of time to curl them, so I wear my hair straight most of the time. What’s your favorite vegetable? Probably zucchini.
