really weird how “anti-targaryen” fans keep bringing up blood quantum/purity
#like I don’t think it’s giving what you think it’s giving#I mean this very genuinely: it’s literally not that serious and you’re making real people uncomfortable#it’s leaning very close to irl discussions of race mixing and ‘cleansing’ atp#this was largely prompted by a post I just saw that I thought was supposed to be a critic of alysanne and jaehaerys and their treatment#of their daughters but very quickly turned into a screed about them being the worst targ purists and how they were glad house targaryen was#basically extinct now like that’s just okay to say??? even about fictional characters#I firmly believe that your media choices and enjoyment don’t define you as a person#but the way you react to and defend your favorite media absolutely does and a*ti-targ fans are treading#dangerously close to very questionable territory imo#hear me roar.tag
