So one time very early on in my journey of understanding and accepting my agender identity, I was at a park in the winter, all bundled up in a coat and hat, and I overheard this little kid loudly ask the adult he was with, "Is he a boy or a girl? Because he's a very pretty boy!" To this day, very pretty boy is my favorite compliment I've ever received and it brings me such gender euphoria.

getting misgendered by adults but universally correctly gendered by children makes me feel like some sort of fairy creature thats true form is only perceptible to children
