Ok not to rant more abt the Chihiro thing in particular, but it pisses me off so fucking much when people seriously try to argue that Chihiro's storyline isn't transphobic. Like, even outside of debating her gender, you can't fucking ignore that her story is transphobic, whether you like it or not. Quite frankly, I don't give a shit if it was intended to be about separate issues, and I don't give a shit if it wasn't intended to be transphobic, because it still is and no amount of good intent will change that.
