sooo you know how you wrote jealous bf x reader...would you ever considered writing the same reader witnessing someone flirting with jealous bf and flipping the roles on him?

I think jealous bf would want to see what reader would do before he acts. They'd be at a bar together, maybe reader went to the bathroom only to come back and find another pair of hands trying to roam against their boyfriend's shirt, a new untouched drink on the counter that this mystery person is tempting him to drink. Malachi would purposefully entertain them, subconsciously testing reader to see what they would do. Do they love him enough to stake their claim? How far are they willing to go, as far as he would?

I imagine reader wouldn't be as aggressive as Malachi-- likely stunned for a moment, before coming up and trying to drag him away.

"Hey, what's going on?"

Reader might ask, feigning cluelessness while wrapping his free hand in both of theirs, gently pulling him away from the bar rat.

"Nothing, just waiting for you. Seems i've caught the eye of a few others."

He'd prod, trying to invoke a reaction out of reader, not letting this sink into unspoken discussion like so many things between them do. He wanted, needed, you to verbalize your thoughts on watching him potentially get snatched up like a prize for the taking. He'd never betray or abandon you like that, but what did you think?

"Yeah? Maybe we should start wearing rings whenever we go out then."

Reader would joke, but the idea strikes Malachi so wonderfully that he won't hesitate to start shopping for garishly obvious promise rings for you both to sport before the night is over.

If it was a friend of reader's who kept pushing themselves onto Malachi or shamelessly flirting, I imagine reader would get pretty pissed, complaining and ranting to Malachi how they had the audacity to act so cutesy around THEIR boyfriend. This, Malachi likes best. He likes seeing reader pissed, upset over someone else wanting him. Makes him feel like maybe he's not the only obsessed, needy one in the relationship. He'll soothe reader, saying he's not going anywhere, that no one could replace them. And yet, the next time someone tries to flirt with him around reader, you won't find him discouraging their advances as obviously as a boyfriend should. He wants you to come in and be his savior.

A lot of adults women behave like incels but less violent and more manipulative. They usually love the cringe romance movies where the main girl is average looking and not like the other girls and manage to make the badboy soft. Then there are some lesbian/bi women who stan her as an act of feminism. She is a female character who got what she wanted so its a win apparently. Fortunatly those ppl are minority bc as a queer woman and feminist, it is very embarrassing to read those takes. I'm all for uplifting women and for them to get everything they desire but not at the expense of non sexist men. Plus, Skr dont even look so happy at the end of the day. So is it really a win for her and women?

Yeah that makes sense. But it's sad isn't it? Because even trying to have a dialogue with them isn't helpful. There's no point having it if they aren't ready to be receptive to it.

Sakura really sees no contradiction between what she says and what she does.

And yet...

Lol. Till only two days ago, she was found styling her hair in the middle of chuunin exams, all skinned knees and having suffered minor injuries, while her team mates were working. She let her hair grow in the first place because she thought Sasuke liked it. Lol.

What impression can it possibly give to the reader? Kishi had to stress on it too, with another character this time.

Why would Kishi stress so much on Sakura and her obsession with her hair, just to make her say something totally hypocritical five chapters down? Lol. Kishi is very clever about writing his characters act according to the character traits given to them. Like for example, the panel below, Kakashi acts according to his character (where he has a blindspot for Sakura's negative shades) thinks Sakura is not the type to brag when she is actually exactly the type to brag.

Lol, Sakura's whole personality is about being obsessive for Sasuke which in turn makes her violently jealous of Naruto and Ino. She beats Naruto up regularly for no apparent reason and harasses Ino, even though that girl did nothing but try to help her. And she brags, it's the only thing she does properly. Lol.

And yet, she is always bragging, showing off. From start to end.

And I am positive I am missing some panels here lol. She is always looking for external validation. She revels in it. While external validation itself is not a bad thing, since humans need some amount of external validation to measure their abilities, and Naruto does it too, but for him, it's rooted in his quest for acknowledgement and acceptance, so he could make friends and not be ostracized from community. Sakura does it because of her ego. While Naruto has his principles rooted in his belief systems, his emotions and his dream that egg him on to do better, Sakura finds her motivation in the desire to show off and impress people, mostly Sasuke.

She disrespects Ino, Tsunade, and she fights Kaguya while she says this?

Girl, why are you so embarrassing? If you wanna attack her, just do it. Why even mention her being a woman? She wasn't mocking you, she barely even noticed you. You aren't worthy enough for her to notice.

Lol. And things she says about being a woman are just so cringe lol.

No one underestimates her because she is a girl, in fact Kakashi coddles her because she is a girl. She is underestimated because despite training, she is just weak and unskilled, as compared to her cohorts. And if she is skillful, we don't see it in the same proportion measured against the way she talks about herself. Tsunade never had to sing about her being a woman and yet people are bloody scared of her strength. Temari never had to mention it, neither did Kushina. Chiyo certainly briefly talks about how women always get the short end of the stick in their male driven society, but she not only belongs to a much older generation that has seen a hell lot, she is a master puppeteer and a superior warrior in her own right, she has earned it.

It would have been fine if only Sakura had actually consistently kept her word, proven herself through actions and not just empty words. Because when she doesn't, it reduces the value of those words. I don't know if she really meant it when she said women were fickle. Who? Tsunade? Kushina? Chiyo? Temari? Nope, they didn't give any such impression.

She constantly condescends to Naruto despite him having proved himself to be skillful, strong, the one who wins team seven several battles while she stands in a corner shaking and sweating. Thing is, she realises she makes mistakes. She acknowledges Naruto's strength as well, but she doesn't do anything to change. The whole point of a realization is to work on it and correct your behaviour. She is condescending towards Naruto till the end. Konohamaru takes her down a peg when she is being disparaging towards him and Naruto when they are doing the oiroke jutsu contest. She even hits Konohamaru, and he gets pissed off. So he makes a reverse oiroke jutsu just to show her true face, and that face has a streak of blood trickling down her nose lol. But when Naruto uses it against Kaguya, she again condescends to him. Narusakus are kinda embarrassing tbh, Sakura doesn't get Naruto. She thinks she does but she doesn't. She thinks she gets Sasuke but she obviously doesn't. And yet, she makes her 'strategies' in kage arc around her knowledge of Naruto and fake confesses to him. Naruto rejects her. Lol. She goes to Sasuke and tries to kill him (with a kunai...) by tricking him, only to be attacked, twice. Even when she drugs her cohorts before going to Sasuke, they clock her real plan. Lol.

She overestimates herself, even though it's clear that if she only thought things through, she would be much more successful. She is really blind to her own shortcomings even though she tries but remains unsuccessful, which is even sadder.

She does know Sasuke doesn't wanna spend time with her, she also gets a sense that she will always be much lesser than Naruto in Sasuke's eyes, she knows but she doesn't care. Even if it means long term misery for everyone involved.

Yes, I am sure some women find her character relatable. But relatable doesn't mean everything. I relate to Sasuke and I am very wary of establishing emotional connections but I know it's not something ideal or healthy. Connection is what people thrive on. If I ever started to relate with Sakura, I would really be compelled to take a hard look at myself. Lol.

Katsuki likes making decisions for you. Even if you already knew where you were going with a choice, he liked having the final say and you’d told him so many times how gross it felt. And he’d “apologized” in his stupid fucking Katsuki way of pouting and moping until you forgave him and he promised to not do it again.

“Fine,” he grumbles and begins marching off towards your shared room, “Fuckin’ fine. I’m the shittiest boyfriend because I answered a single question for you, it’s fuckin’ fine.”

Every problem you had could be solved if he just followed through with his “fine”s and his promises. But he’s Bakugou, Katsuki, and he doesn’t have to follow through if it means he’s happy.

You can remember a time when it didn’t feel like you needed to push yourself through days with Katsuki. When you’d roll over in bed and smile upon seeing that rare serene expression he kept in his sleep. When you didn’t dread coming home from work in fear of whatever fight he had in store to spark and then blame on you.

“She’s fuckin’ crazy,” Katsuki’s muttering into his headset while he’s gaming, and you know you shouldn’t be hearing this conversation, “I love her but she’s insane.”

You know Eijiro well enough to know he’s defending whoever your boyfriend’s talking about. And you know Katsuki well enough to know that the ‘whoever’ is you.

“No, shitty hair, you don’t get it. She’s just so dramatic. I told some fuckhead to piss off when he tried asking her to dinner and she fuckin’ blew up at me,” he shakes his head and that’s how you know Eijiro is insisting there’s more to the story, “Get sparky on, he’ll get it.”

You didn’t hate him, but he was such a moron sometimes. Not that you could ever say that. Last time you “insulted” a friend of his was when you complained about Hanta eating your food from the fridge without asking, and Katsuki was whining about you hating his friends for fucking weeks. You’re pretty sure he still brings it up to the others when he’s bored.

You don’t even want to know what bullshit Katsuki is about to spout about you to his friends, so you walk away to your bedroom. It’s immature to just go to your little pals who won’t tell you you’re the problem rather than talking it out with your partner. But, of course, you aren’t about to start a new fight where Katsuki inevitably makes you the villain again, so you run to your little pal who won’t tell you you’re part of the problem.

Ochaco’s tired of hearing about Katsuki, but she misses the times when she’d say that and it was about how much you’d gush about how handsome or sweet he was on you. She misses when you’d say his name and it didn’t sound like barbed wire was pulling over your tongue as you spoke.

“God, I wish he’d talk to me,” you huff.

“Yeah,” she’s partially hoping you detect the sarcasm in her voice as she speaks, “who would go to their best friend before their partner? That’d be bonkers.”

“Okay, ass, don’t be rude.”

“Honestly…” you can picture her biting her lip in contemplation, “do you wanna know what I think?”

“Yeah, I do,” you’re so tired of the fighting, “What? Like couples’ therapy or something? Katsuki wouldn’t do it.”

So very tired.

“I know,” she sighs, “And no, honestly. I think you two should break up.”

“What the fuck, Uraraka?”

“I’m serious. All you do is talk about how upset you are. Either figure out a way to talk to him again or just leave things on terms that aren’t totally toxic.”

You stare at a picture on your nightstand as she suggests it. It’s of you and Katsuki the day he said he loved you for the first time. He’s holding you so carefully, as if you’ll disappear the moment he lets go. You’re smiling into the camera but he’s smiling, actually smiling, at you.

“I don’t know…”

“It’s hard, I know, I just don’t want you to be so fucked up over him anymore. I love you, girl,” Ochaco’s always looked out for you and you know better than to think her advice is from anything other than love, “If you need a place to stay, our roommate just moved out. We’re looking for a new one but I can tell Deku to keep it open for a bit.”

“Uh,” you close your eyes and try to think but every time you grasp at an answer it fizzles away at the brush of your fingers, “sure. Just for a little bit, maybe.”

But you know Ochaco and Izuku are tender-hearted people and that room will be open for you as long as this question is open-ended.

“I’ll tell him,” you can hear Izuku calling for her from over the line, “I gotta go. Think about it a bit, but just know I’m here for you. Love you, bye.”

“Love you, too. I will.”

She hangs up after you say it and you’re left alone with the possibility of leaving Katsuki hanging on your brain.

Getting up, you walk to the living room and just catch a snippet of Katsuki’s conversation before going back to the bedroom and pulling the closet open.

“She’s lucky she’s pretty.”

The way he laughed let you know it was a joke, but the fact he’d said it at all and considered it funny put you off. It felt like everything he did put you off nowadays, and he wasn’t keen on doing anything to change it.

You’re angrily zipping up a suitcase when Katsuki comes up for bed and you should’ve been paying attention to the clock for that. Always a half hour past eight he’d go to bed, like a toddler. Though you won’t deny that it’s fitting.

“The fuck’re you doing?”

“I’m leaving, I can’t take this anymore.”

“Oh my God, because of one fight?”

“It isn’t one fight, Katsuki, if you ever listened to me then you’d know why I’m so upset. You don’t listen and you don’t try and you’re always convinced that I’m being crazy instead of facing the truth that you’re a total dick!”

“You know what? Fine, whatever,” he chuckles as if you’d told him a joke, as if this was funny to him, “Go run to whatever fuckin’ guy you got lined up next.”

“Are you serious?”

“Is it shitty hair?” his eyes narrow as he asks, “Be honest.”

“Oh my- no! I’m not going after anybody else because you know what?” you jab a finger in Katsuki’s chest, “I’d rather be all alone than stuck here with you!”

“You’ll be back by tomorrow,” he brushes past you to the bed, “You always talk this big fuckin’ game but that’s all it is. Talk. So listen to round face and leave me, and don’t pretend she isn’t the one that put this shitty idea in your head because I know she hates me. We both know you’re gonna come back for your shirt or your socks or something, and you’re not gonna end up moving out.”

It astounds you how confident he sounds. Then it dawns on you that Katsuki and you have played this game before. Ochaco told you to break things off, you left for the night telling him you weren’t coming home, you came back by noon the next day for a sweatshirt, and never left.

So now, as you look over the room, you’re more methodical. You don’t want a reason to come back. You can’t have a reason to come back or else you will and you’ll stay. Because you love Katsuki, you really fucking do. He’s kind when he wants to be and he’s always had your side in fights (even against his friends, at least until they leave and then he tells you otherwise).

“Katsuki,” you sit on the bed, examining the space of the room to make sure you have everything, “why do you love me?”

He turns on his back and gazes up at you, “It never felt like you looked down on me. You were encouraging and shit without being babying,” he takes your hand in his and squeezes, “I can’t put it into exact fuckin’ words but I always wanted to marry you. Always seemed right.”

“You mean that?”

“I do.”

He really, really does.

You nod and you’re ashamed of the tears gathering in your waterline. Leaning over, you kiss Katsuki’s forehead, “I love you, Katsu.”

He knows that phrase. You aren’t big on the nickname ‘Katsu’ and you only pull it out when you don’t want to hurt him but know you have to.

“Just go, if you want,” he turns back over on his side, “Make sure you have your shit.”

Right when it feels like things will be okay he has to go and do something like that.

Though, to be fair, you were going to leave even if he hadn’t.

He doesn’t say anything back. It’s very uncomfortable for Katsuki to remain silent after a comment like that but you aren’t begging for a comeback anyway.

Once outside of the house, you call Ochaco in what you know is a very obnoxious move.

“I hate when you cold call, ass,” she doesn’t even greet you.

But it makes you smile, genuinely smile.

“Uhm, I hate to be that person, but I need a ride.”

“What? Why?” she gasps suddenly, “Oh my God, did you?”

“Yeah. Just now,” a gust of the night wind passes you and you crunch together, trying to gather your body heat, it’s also then that you feel the skin of your cheeks freeze and you realize the tears fell, “And not to rush you but it is cold.”

“Alright, alright,” you can hear rustling followed by the jingle of her keys, “Jeez, you’re so troublesome. I thought you’d give me a warning before dumping the guy.”

“Yeah, well…” you trail off, turning to look at the house with years of memories being tossed down the garbage disposal, “Sorry.”

“‘s fine. Be there in a minute. Stay there.”

When Ochaco sees you, her instinct is to check you for marks. It was something she picked up from Izuku when you’d go to their apartment after a fight with Katsuki. Maybe that in itself was a red flag, but you’d had rose colored glasses on for so long that the red flags never came out red.

“Got everything?”

“I’m not going back anyways.”

You’re apologizing to Izuku when you step into the threshold of their home - it’s so warm and cozy, always has been - but he takes you into a hug and says he’s just glad you’re okay. He goes to see if you have telltale signs of an altercation but Ochaco waves him off.

Izuku has always been more of your best friend’s boyfriend than an actual companion, but he’s never shown you anything less than kindness. It’s more than you can say for Katsuki’s, your own (ex)lover’s, friends - with the natural exceptions of Eijiro and Mina.

You don’t go back the next day. Ochaco says she’s proud of you and Izuku seems relieved, though he doesn’t say anything.

But as that day turns into a week, your phone seems to incessantly buzz with the attempts of Katsuki to reach you.

“Girl, block him,” she takes your phone from your hand while you’re reading his texts.

“Well, I don’t know,” you reach for your phone back while it continues to buzz, “It’s kinda nice to see him worry, no?”

“That’s insane, first of all,” she shakes her head and even when her back turns to you, you can tell she’s blocking the man’s number for you, “He was also saying he hopes you’re dead. So, not worrying. Just more red flags.”

“Wait, actually?”

“Yeah,” she grumbles, handing you the phone, “well, more like ‘you better be dead’ because apparently that’s better than you leaving him.”

You stare down at your phone before putting it face down on the coffee table, “He’ll probably call with Kaminari’s number in a bit.”

She doesn’t say anything at that but you can sense how your prediction saddens her.

It’s nearing one in the morning when your prediction comes to fruition. You aren’t sure what possesses you to answer the call. Maybe you want to hear him concerned about you. Maybe you want him to apologize. Maybe you want to hear him say he wants you back. Just for once, hear him say he wants you again.

Instead, you’re met with his voice coming from Denki’s number and he sounds piss drunk, “Are you fuckin’ serious? Are you a teenager? Stop being dramatic and come the fuck home, okay?” he’s slurring his words and you think you hear Eijiro telling him to leave you alone, “I’m fuckin’... I’m done. You’re a bitch.”

“Katsuki, give Kaminari his phone.”

“Why?” he’s always been defensive and possessive, but it gets especially worse when he’s shit-faced the way he is now, “Why d’ya wanna talk to him?”

“Because it’s his phone and I don’t want to talk to you,” you are surprised, however, at how well you hold your ground. You’ve never held yourself together for so long when Katsuki gets defensive.

Katsuki doesn’t get to respond before the phone is taken from him and you hear Eijiro instead, “Sorry ‘bout that… I’ll keep him busy so you can get some sleep.”

“Thanks,” you look at the clock, “Hey, Kirishima?”

“Yeah?”

“I’m gonna miss you,” you’re tired and your brain isn’t working and you aren’t sure why you’re even telling him this, “Like actually miss you. You were always a really cool dude and you were super nice to me.”

“Oh, yeah, no problem. It was just the manly thing to do, I guess,” he’s laughing it off, as he usually does when he’s complimented. You always liked that about him, that he doesn’t let praise stuff his head, unlike your (ex)boyfriend.

“You’re a good person, Kirishima. I hope you and Ashido don’t buy anything Kat- Bakugou said, or says, about me,” you wouldn’t care if Denki or Hanta believed it, but Eijiro and Mina were people that you felt could’ve been your friends if you hadn’t met them through Katsuki, “Cuz, like, I know what he’s said… I’m not like that.”

“I know,” his voice is so soft it almost lulls you back to sleep, “Mina does, too. She likes you; actually told me like the day after we found out you left that she’s bummed you aren’t around.”

“Yeah, I’m sorry I can’t be, but I just… I don’t wanna get sucked back into his bubble like this… not yet anyway.”

“Hey, man, no worries. If you ever change your mind, you have our numbers. Just do what’s best for you.”

“Thanks again, Kirishima.”

“Was never a problem.”

Eijiro was such a good fucking person. And Mina was always so nice and inclusive of you.

You end up laying awake that night.

Another week goes by and you’re feeling surprisingly good about your new situation. You live with your best friend and her boyfriend and you don’t feel controlled or possessed. You can answer for yourself and you don’t feel pressured to adhere to someone else’s tastes. It’s just nice. You like living like this. You wish you’d known you could live like this sooner.

A knock at the door solidifies that thought.

You look through the peephole and immediately wrench back to give Ochaco a wide-eyed stare, whispering out nervously, “It’s him.”

“Oh my God,” she covers her mouth, shaking her head as she muffles out, “Don’t answer it.”

“I can handle it,” Izuku gives you a good-natured smile like the good-natured man he is.

“Are you sure?” you murmur, moving to the side to be out of Katsuki’s sight when the door opens.

Another round of knocking breaks at the wood as Izuku nods, “I know him too well at this point.”

He chuckled but it was so dry, you felt bad.

Was that how you’d sounded to Ochaco?

Ochaco splits from the couch to come to your side and hold your arm as her boyfriend pulls the door open.

“Kacchan, go home.”

“Where the fuck is she, Deku?”

Katsuki tries stepping past the other man but Izuku holds firm, “She already gave you chances and you never changed. You never changed for anybody, Kacchan,” he’s been on the short end of the stick with Katsuki, too, and he doesn’t want anybody else to experience that, “Don’t expect her to go back to that. It’s cruel.”

“Fuck you, Deku.”

“Kacchan, please… I know you’re better than this. You need to go home and look at yourself. Think about this from a different angle, okay? An outside one. Because I can assure you, she isn’t the bad guy here.”

You reach over and take Ochaco’s hand in yours.

Katsuki’s silent.

“Can I just fuckin’ see her?”

He sounds defeated. It’s a new sound.

You step around Izuku to be at the doorway, “What do you want, Bakugou?”

“Please, don’t call me that…” his eyes are heavy with bags and he looks pale.

You shake your head, “You need to move on. Realize why I left isn’t because I’m ‘dramatic’ or ‘emotional’. Stop harassing me. You need to grow up, Bakugou. You’re better than this - you’ve been better than this before, I’ve seen it.”

“I miss you,” he rests his forehead on the frame of the door, eyes closing, “I’m tired without you.”

“I know,” you want to hold him. It’s an instinct at this point. He looks so miserable and it honestly hurts to see him like this.

“I’m sorry…”

“I’m sure you are.”

“Please, come home.”

“I am home,” he looks up at you at that and you almost wish he hadn’t.

He looks devastated. Like you’d reached into his chest with your bare hands and pried back his ribs to clench his beating heart and squeezed.

“Are you serious…?”

No trace of anger is detectable in his tone. Just absolute, unadulterated listlessness. Exhaustion.

“My answer isn’t going to change, Bakugou,” you step back now, taking the door handle from Izuku’s grip, “Leave me alone and grow up. You’ll find another person, just treat them better than you did to me and you’ll be fine.”

You shut the door and whereas Katsuki had seemed absolutely heartbroken, Ochaco’s expression was pure elation. She bounces to your side and shakes you around, “You did it! I’m so proud of you!”

“For what?”

“Turning him away,” Ochaco tilted her head as if to examine you, her lips tugged upward as she did so, “I was worried you’d feel bad for him.”

“I mean, I do. But it isn’t my fault. He made his choices.”

“God, you’re getting better and better tonight!”

“Thanks…?” you furrow your brows at her, “You’re being weird.”

“Yeah, but you’re being cool,” she shrugs before sitting back down and patting the spot beside her, “Now, sit.”

You sit, expecting a speech about how you should let him be and move on, too. Instead, Ochaco simply returns to watching what’s on television in peace with Izuku sitting beside her. His arm is thrown back and she’s nestled into his side.

They’re so sweet.

You wonder if that could’ve been you and Katsuki.

Maybe.

If he’d matured, it very well could have been because it already had been at one point. Before he forgot you were a person first and his little girlfriend second.

Or maybe you would’ve left for a different reason. Maybe the love would’ve faded eventually.

You’ll never really know.

And, to be honest, you aren’t that curious about your possible future with him anymore, either.

✍️Sorry to say this, but Light will totally use this to his advantage. For your now ex boyfriend this might even be a good situation or else Light may have written him down already in his Death Note. There’s a chance that he might have even poked at your insecurities whilst you were together with him. Not directly of course, he needs to keep his facade of the perfect gentleman. He would more let indirect comments slip in or point certain things out about which you feel in general not very confident.

✍️He thinks it’s pretty dumb from his darling to break off just because she’s too insecure about her ex. That guy chose you for a reason and just ending things because of this is ridiculous for him. On the other hand, that’s what he was counting on anyways and having a more self-doubting darling makes it easier for him to thoroughly gaslight so she won’t ever leave him.

✍️He didn’t plan that your boyfriend would get together with his ex and he definitely found out that this was to make you jealous. And as cruel as it sounds, he already knew that this would have a devastating effect on you and was ready to use it even more against you and make you fall in love with him.

But he also made sure to often push you in a scenario where you have to endure your ex acting affectionate with his ex, simply so you would have another breakdown and he could embrace you once again and put you back together once again like he wanted too.

✍️Light will use whatever form of manipulation is necessary to reach his goal. And the moment you start seeking for his comfort and come running to him crying when you saw your ex once again, he will know that he’s getting there. It’s no wonder that you did since he is the whole time honestly just very caring, patient and understanding with you. Light will most likely torture you a bit by pretending to not know that you love him and you will be most likely too bashful to tell him. He is happy and satisfied that you did, but he just wants to wait a bit longer until he’s sure that you reached a certain level of dependence on him. Confessing to you would be really romantic since he wants it perfect. It will give you after all a good impression.

✍️Light knows that you might feel insecure with him even more than with your ex since he’s the top student in Japan which is why he would act a bit more affectionate with you than normally. He doesn’t plan on letting you break up with him anywhere in the near or distant future. And yet I feel like sometimes he would like to test the limits, meaning he’ll ignore you or act more distant for a while just to see how you’ll react to this. And he will feel satisfied if you would afterwards quietly come to him and try to get attention from him. The more you latch onto every bit of affection he gives you, the more dependent it means you are. That said, if you should become clingy please remember that Light won’t handle that too well since it will get on his nerves from time to time.

✍️Also, after they fulfilled their purpose and Light has a solid grip on you, he will kill your ex and his ex. He counts on the fact that you will have another breakdown which on the one hand means you still have feelings for him, but which is on the other hand a great chance to manipulate a bit more. Light will also start to isolate you from others, using his gaslighting to make you more jumpy around others until you’ve reached the point where you only trust him.

🍰He knew about everything from a very early point on. That guy keeps tracks on you all the time and has cameras installed in your and also your boyfriend’s house. L isn’t someone who gets easily jealous, or so he thought until he found out that you were in a relationship, leading him to gathering up every small information he could find about your ex, searching for ways to accuse him of something he didn’t do. But that guy is horrifyingly smart and figured your insecurities out and once again, sorry, but he’ll use it to his advantage.

🍰He’s confused to why you would break off things since it was obvious to him that the guy liked you which L on the other hand didn’t like. He thinks that his darling is very naive for not seeing this. But just like with Light, he was expecting her to break up because of all her uncertainties, planning already ahead because he was counting on it. A more naive darling is easier to manipulate anyways.

🍰Thinks it’s ridiculous from your boyfriend to try to make you jealous with pretending to be back in a relationship with his ex you were so insecure off. At this point it’s safe to say that L just knows how you will react to this and that, he knows you better than you might know yourself. And that’s why it’s ridiculous for him. He knows that this will drag you down even more. Not like he’s complaining. When humans are emotionally vulnerable, they’re after all the easiest to corrupt.

🍰He’s not the most experienced with comforting someone, not to mention that people think of him as rather peculiar. You two will at one point build some sort of friendship because he will set up scenarios where you will keep bumping into him or even run to him for help whilst in a tricky situation. And you’ll most likely start thinking at one point that he must be omniscient since he seems to know everything. So you might as well just tell him everything and he will start from there to act like a good friend who is always there to listen.

🍰Humans get the quickest attached whilst they are currently undergoing a difficult time and need someone to listen and to rely on. This belief of L will prove right over time and given the fact that he stalks you and can read the body language very well, he will notice fairly early on that you start to build feelings for him. He is in his own sense very sweet after all, sharing always his sweets with you and always being there to listen when you need someone to talk to you. It would be also for you a big sign of trust when he tells you after he’s sure that he can trust you that he’s L, the infamous detective. Similar to Light he would wait a bit until finally confessing himself simply because he wants to ensure that really nothing can go wrong when he finally confesses.

🍰He does expect a certain pressure on you the moment you do get together with him since he is after all a famous detective. He would most likely try to guilt-trip you into coming with him since he’s also scared that you will get targeted the moment someone should find out about with whom exactly you’re together. Not only that, but L often has to move around to solve different cases on different continents, he doesn’t stay for too long in one place. But he wants you with him and for that will gaslight you enough until you agree. It’s not like that he would be above drugging and kidnapping you if he has too. For the most part he doesn’t have anything against a clingy darling, if you should be because of insecurity, since he himself is beyond touchstarved, but sometimes he just is too busy. Would then most likely just let you sit on his lap whilst working.

🍰He can and will make sure that you will never even hear of those two ever again so even if he should decide to accuse them of something, you’ll never even get to know it since L controls how many informations about the outside world you get to hear. He controls a lot of things in this relationship. Isolation is guaranteed since he is iffy about letting you outside, partially because he’s scared that something will happen, partially because he’s scared that you will find out just how much he doesn’t let you know about the world. He just prefers to keep you safe in wherever you two stay in currently so he can keep an eye on you.

Misa Amane

💄So jealous and angry when finding out that you were together with someone else. Misa believes in love at first sight and also thinks that once she is in a relationship with her darling, she’ll love Misa just as much as she loves her darling. So discovering that her darling was already taken made her totally furious and she was honestly just about to write that guy’s name down in her Death Note before figuring out your insecurities. And I’m confident in saying that from everyone in here, she would be the one who would be really sincere with her affection simply because she really adores her darling and cares for them.

💄Was most likely the one who even encouraged you to break up with that guy, saying that he didn’t deserve you and that he wasn’t good enough. Totally proud of you when you did and instantly there for you the moment you broke things up. Misa doesn’t really get why you feel so insecure about this guy’s ex in the first place since you’re in her eyes totally perfect and would be very doting and really clingy after you broke up because now you’re single, meaning she can finally use her chance.

💄Unbelievably mad at your ex after finding out what he did. Misa dislikes the guy and his ex already enough as it is, but that will lead her to the point of just being grossed out at those two and the fact that you are upset and saddened because of it make things even worse.
