Heeseung was an idiot.

He hated the fact that he had actually pissed you off. Forgetting a date was the last mistake he expected from himself, unintentionally leaving you sitting in the middle of the restaurant while it rained outside, the clear picture of you being stood up embarrassed you. He was such an ass for that.

He knew he deserved the angry yells from you, holding you as you calmed down until you finally heard him out. You couldn’t entirely blame him for working late, but you wished he had told you sooner, sobbing into his shoulder as he kissed your tears away, kissing your waist and eased your mind, whispering 'sorry' on repeat.

“Let me love you right.”

Heeseung stuck to his promise, doing one of the craziest things he hasn’t done in a while, which was planning something for every day of the week.

i. Monday

Coming home from work was exhausting. You just wanted to lie in bed with a soothing mask on and do nothing.

Upon entering the threshold, you noticed something different. Heeseung wasn’t in his usual position on the couch watching his usual evening program or even gaming. There’s no way he would have disappeared, right?

“You’re back,”

Speaking of the devil.

You eyed the plates of food in his hands, catching the cheesy grin on his face. “What are you doing?” you placed your bag down, pressing a kiss on his cheek.

“Dinner, duh,”

Eyebrows furrowed, you casted him a suspicious glance. “There’s no motive behind this, is there?”

Heeseung set the plates down, looking thoroughly offended. “Can’t I do something for my girl?”

“Hee, you never cook. You live on instant noodles—which is so bad, by the way—that is why I’m wondering what all these are,”

Your gaze softened at the nicely cooked meals your boyfriend had prepared, feeling his arm slowly slither around your waist. "I just wanted to do something nice,"

Something clicked in your mind. "Is it because of last weekend? You know I'm over it, right?"

It seemed that your words had hit the spot. His lopsided smile told you you've guessed it right.

"Heeseung,"

He threw his hands up in defeat, letting out a breath. "I can't help feeling guilty and I just wanted to make up for it," he tugged you in closer. "Can I?"

You were never immune to your boyfriend's charms, giving in and rolling your eyes at him. "Of course you can. I'll make sure to taste every flavour of your home cooked meal,"

His grin widened, pinching your cheeks softly. "You're so annoying,"

"What's that?"

"You're so cute, I mean."

ii. Tuesday

"I had a pleasant surprise at the office today,"

You were saying when you closed the door, seeing Heeseung at his usual spot watching some sports program on the big screen, acting oblivious. He hummed in response as you crept closer to him.

"I got flowers," you stood behind him, leaning down and threw your arms around his neck. "My favourite flowers,"

He turned his head slightly towards you, an amused smile plastered on that sly face of his. "I wonder who they're from,"

"I wonder too," you played along, pressing a kiss on his cheek and instantly saw his typical pleased expression. "Thank you,"

"I'm glad you liked them," he held your hand gently, sincerity shining in his gaze.

"I always like every one of them that you've sent me,"

"I'll make sure to send you more."

iii. Wednesday

"I rented the movie you were dying to watch,"

"No way!"

Getting off work early and being back home earlier than usual was the greatest thing you could ever get from the world. It was one of those days where you and your boyfriend decided to have a chill night in, calling your usual take out, but this time, Heeseung had something in store.

Heeseung knew you were dying to watch a newly released movie considering the amount of times you rambled to him about it. But with your's and his packed schedules, staying at home was almost like a treasure. So, he wanted to make sure you get to watch the movie without leaving the comforts of your couch and rented the movie instead.

"I will cry right now," you melted into his touch the moment you cuddled into his side, letting him kiss your forehead.

"Watch the movie first before you cry," he laughed jokingly, rubbing your arm soothingly.

You smiled at him, poking his cheek. "I'll pay for the next time, okay? I'm not taking a 'no' as an answer,"

He nodded, stroking your head affectionately. He might've gone along with your words, but deep down, he knew he was going to be the one who pays next round, just because he wanted to. It was you after all.

iv. Thursday

"You're joking, right?"

Heeseung was a brave fighter. He would actually fight hard just for you. But buying concert tickets? That was a whole different side of war he had seen.

Heeseung intended it to be a surprise. During his lunchtime at work, he gathered his friends and their computers to snatch tickets, specifically Taylor Swift tickets. He was fighting against millions of people and just thinking about it made him shudder.

Sunghoon was losing his focus as time passed, Jay needed the toilet and Jake was on the brink of closing his tabs out of impatience, but Heeseung was the only one holding out.

Time ticked and just when everyone was about to lose it, Heeseung's tab was loaded. He swore he saw the gates of heaven there and then. It all happened in a haze and before he knew it, the tickets were secured. Now, he needed a plan to surprise you.

Frankly, a random Thursday night wasn't fit for a whole damn surprise and Heeseung was tired. During dinner, he just let it slip, seeing the honest shock in your face was totally worth it.

"I'm not joking at all," he chuckled, watching you jump around and attacking him with a bear hug, arms and legs wrapped around his body.

"You won the great war!" You practically smothered his face with kisses, and he just accepted it happily.

"Oh my God, I need to think of outfit ideas for us,"

He sat there with you in his hands, feeling content already just from the crazy smile on your face. All it took was your happiness to make him equally happy.

v. Friday

Having a boyfriend who loved to spend money on useless stuff was sometimes a blessing and a curse.

This time around, Heeseung actually put one of his impulse buys to use. The karaoke machine.

Spending Friday nights inside was a calming type of fun. You and Heeseung both had already moved past that phase of staying out late and just wanted a peace of mind at home now instead. Even if it meant you resembled old couples by playing monopoly, checkers, uno and other types of games, it didn't matter to either you or him.

Heeseung, however, thought it was an even more fun idea to crank up the karaoke machine rotting in the other room to add to the night. You didn't say no, and watched him drag it out with a proud look on his face.

He set it up, praying there would be no noise complaints the next morning and started singing some of his favourite songs. You watched him silently, a sweet smile evident on your lips.

"Come on, let's sing our song," he tugged your hand, pulling you to your feet and handing you a microphone. The familiar beat of a slow romantic song that you two loved started playing and he pulled you close to him, wrapping his arm around your waist.

The voices of yours and his mixed together into the night, swaying with each other and just purely enjoying one another's company. Heeseung made sure to make you feel special, spinning you around and doing extra stunts, eliciting laughter from you.

If this could last forever, you wished it would.

vi. Saturday

Heeseung has always been a hopeless romantic, it's no secret.

He loved bringing you out on dates, whether it was spontaneous or not, he just wanted to treat you like a princess.

It wasn't an exception this time.

Bringing you out to one of the michelin restaurants he wanted to try out in a long time as a date night that he had been planning for months on end. It was totally worth it when he was the dress you were wearing, complimenting his suit as well.

"You look gorgeous tonight, wow," he said this again once you got out of the car, even after telling you many times before leaving your place.

"Thank you," you accepted his hand, blushing all over again. "You look absolutely breathtaking as well,"

He shot a wink at you. "Flattered,"

"I'm really happy we're spending tonight together,"

"So suddenly? We always do," he glanced confusedly at you.

"I know," you squeezed his hand softly. "But tonight I'm just extra happy we're both here, you know? I'm just grateful for you. The things you did—hell, this—everything, I'm lucky to have you,"

"Me too," he squeezed your hand back, swinging it back and forth. "I'll always go out of my way for you. You're the exception."

vii. Sunday

Sundays were left for shopping and splurging.

You hated it but Heeseung couldn't help spending money on you. He loved buying you stuff which included his useless online shopping hauls.

Walking around the mall hand in hand, you swore your legs were on the verge of breaking. Heeseung was an avid shopper compared to you, so instead of the stereotypical girlfriend dragging her boyfriend around, it was the opposite for you.

You helped him pick out a new cologne, some new clothes and skincare. Not knowing it would be your turn to shop, or at least, he was hoping you would buy something.

"I want some ice cream,"

"Only ice cream?"

"Yes, Hee, just ice cream," you tugged him towards the nearest Baskin Robbins you could locate, craving for a scoop of cookies and cream. "You know you don't need to splurge on me, right?"

"I know, but I want to," he pouted, showing his classic bambi eyes to you.

"I know you do," you bumped his shoulder lightly. "But today, I just want some ice cream, nothing more,"

"Let me get you your favourite flavours?"

"I can't say no to that."

Safe to say Heeseung had successfully erased the bad memory from your mind and left even better ones. He might've not been the most perfect guy, but he was the best for you, all seven days, every week, every month, and for evermore.

It had been about 4 weeks or so since you and Jeff had begun dating

And it's been wonderful so far

Neither of you are perfect, but your relationship is loving and very refreshing

And with the conversation you got wrapped up into tonight, you almost called all that into question

You, Jeff, Ben and Toby were chilling in one of the manor's many living room areas, chatting about nothing in particular when all of a sudden, Ben speaks up

"Sooo, have you been introduced to Lucy yet, y/n?"

You make a confused face and tilt your head "Lucy? Lucy who?"

Ben and Jeff look at each other, and Ben lets out a dramatic gasp

"Jefferey! You haven't told y/n about Lucy? What kind of boyfriend are you?"

Jeff decides to play along "I guess I just never got around to it"

Ben looks back at you "Y/n, I don't know how you'll take this, but uh...Lucy is Jeff's...intimate partner, so to speak. They've been on and off for years"

Your face heats up and you look over at Jeff with shock "What?? You never told me about any other partners!"

Honestly it probably wouldn't have been that big of a deal if he would've just told you about this, because this is a huge dealbreaker

"oops?? That's all you have to say?"

"She lives here in the manor." Ben says "Would you like to go meet her?"

You look down at your lap and are very quiet for a few minutes, taking in all the information

Eventually though, Jeff lets out a huge sigh and stands up, picking you up by your arm and making you stand as well "Come on. It's not that big a'deal."

'Not that big a'deal?!' you think, quietly following Ben and Jeff to Jeff's bedroom

You hadn't been in Jeff's room yet, so the entire experience was pretty new for you

You were immediately taken back by the smell, it was a mix of body odor, blue razz, and nicotine

The next thing you notice is how messy it is, you could barely walk without tripping over either clothes or trash

And as Jeff walks through the mess, he comes to stand next to a very disheveled mannequin

"There she is" Ben says in an admiring tone "Our girl Lucy. Aka Jeff's one and only"

You study the mannequin confusedly

She is missing fingers, has a knife through her eye, is missing a leg, has a matted and tangled wig practically falling off her head, her makeup is smudged and almost wiped off, and she has mlp stickers over her nipples

You are once again, quiet for a moment

"You're joking, right? This is her???"

Jeff looks up at Lucy and begins to stroke her hair "Yep, this is her alright. Sight for sore eyes, isn't she?"

You begin to laugh before coming over to jeff and lightly slapping his chest "You jerk, you had me seriously worried!"

"Nah, you ain't gotta worry. I like you pretty good" he says, pulling you into his chest and kissing the top of your head

You look at Lucy again, and study her closer "What was the point of the stickers even?"

Jeff sneers "well I can't leave my girl naked and cold now, can i?"

So I got talking to a guy a little while ago and we vibed realllyyy well. He's lowkey the textbook definition of everything I'm looking for in a guy. He's 6'2, well to do (not rich but does veryyyy well for himself), BULKY BROAD SHOULDERED, Venusian etc

The synastry of our charts is insane 🥵 He had Mercury atmakaraka (remember my Mercury DK?? 😌)

He has a Venus Moon and stellium and he's the most Venusian guy I've ever met,,, he LOVES beauty, art, the female form etc and appreciates it. The way he spoke about it was so hot to me ngl,,, mf was so poetic,, he really knew how to speak sensually without ever being creepy or vulgar

His Mercury AK was in Purvabhadrapada and he had a puppy like softie Jupiter guy personality. I loved the fact that he looked like a WWE boxer (bulky af 🥵) but had the personality of a golden retriever. LITERALLY ALL MY DREAMS seemed to be coming true.

I knew his birthday but not his rising sign. Yk what they say about "if something's too good to be true, then it is" ??? yeah, i just couldn't brush off the feeling that something wasn't right. I've read some of your previous works, but fail safe has managed to hit different, and that's very hard considering hbjimin!!!!!! and 478jk!!!! (Ik I'm echoing a popular sentiment on here, but you deserve your flowers)

I need to confess that when I first started reading fail safe I felt so taken aback by your oc's characterization, to the point I didn't even like her. But halfway through the first part, I had a big, fat epiphany and realized the only reason I felt unsympathetic towards here was because (SHOCKER!) that's my twin lowkey 😭😭 I was like oh....... so this is how it feels like to have a mirror held up to your face 😂🫵

Even though I've always grown up as a pretty responsible, independent kid who had big dreams and a sense of passion I'm currently at a point in my life where I feel very lost and confused and unsatisfied with my life. I have felt that spark of fashion almost totally dampened, and as a result I feel like (some of) the people around me kinda look down on me a little / are very worried about my near future / are very condescending about where I'm at emotionally and existentialist (basically oc and yoongi's dynamic). Making that connection.... hurt and made reading this fic so much more emotional.

This means I have a HUGE VENDETTA AGAINST FS YOONGI FOR TREATING OC LIKE SHIT AND BEING A CONDESCENDING, PEDANTIC ASSHOLE!!!!! He's borderline demonic, talking to her life that throughout her teen hood, no wonder she has such a negative self-image, in spite of working to build herself up. But the issue is that she's working from such a shaky foundation and she hasn't healed one bit 🥺 kinda feel she's self medicating through her work (like yoongi maybe but I don't care about his bum ass). She's in a very unfair position cause she doesn't have anyone in here corner in terms of like her immediate family circle (except for her mom but she can't talk about it with her cause it will break her heart knowing yoongi has always been like that to her 🥺- like seriously what is his issue???? did he flip on oc cause he has unresolved romantic feelings that he couldn't act on cause of 1. age gap and 2. Namjoon). Speaking on Namjoon, WHAT AN ASS!!!! He gave me ptsd to all the times my brothers chose to be insensitive towards me and not stick up for me.

Overall, there are so many mixed feelings. I understand her still having a complex with yoongi cause there's too many unresolved issues and hurt feelings that have been repressed for too long and that just keeps her on a cycle instead of allowing her to fully let go. So I don't judge her for it cause I've been there, done that.

I'm sooo excited for what's to come. I'm looking forward to the mysteries being revealed (my prediction for second lead is mr. kim taehyung himself), gut-wrenching lines courtesy of your lovely brain, and oc development! I'm ready to scream, cry, run around, jump off a cliff, swim in circles ❤️

I just went through (I think) all of your thomato posts and oh my god. I never knew I had a thing for cucking until poor thoma became the victim for it??? and from the thomato poly to ayato being whore and cucking thoma?? it's all SO good!! i really enjoy the (unfair) power dynamics, especially ayato and songbird's relationship; no matter if its a poly relationship or exclusive relationship. the fact that even if darling and thoma have the same social standing in some posts, darling still gets slightly treated less and more objectively than thoma does is addictingly good. it kinda makes you crave for an ounce of equal affection or respect from ayato the same way he treats thoma, but at the same time i think if ayato was a bit more .. friendly ?? respectful ?? to darling, i think it'd end up scaring them a little than making them feel appreciated, as they wouldnt know where his supposed kindness is coming from, when its going, and why </3

omg the one work where songbird was punished by watching thoma fuck another person was heartbreaking enough </3 BUT THE ENDING. OHHHMYGOD, where ayato warps Thoma's wanting and desire for darling into something hurtful to use against darling (and, indirectly, thoma), saying thoma doesn't actually see darling as special as he does </3 AYATO IS SUCH A CRUEL MAN :'( but I can't get enough of him. that piece seriously left me jaw slacked on that last line, wasn't expecting him to deliver a blow like that ☹️

AND SPEAKING OF THOMAS INTERFERENCE. the few works u have where darling is already in an established relationship with thoma, specifically the instruction fic (I believe it's called that?), and ayato pushes his way into the relationship is sooo mouth-wateringly good. Thomas hesitancy is so :((( and he probably has internal feelings of guilt for offering his beloved up to ayato like a dinner dish, or maybe he feels guilty for another reason — maybe he kind of likes seeing his lord play with his pretty little darling despite hesitancy and tension :(( THERES SO MUCH TO THINK ABOUT AAHHH. but with all the "lovey dovey" stuff, it does make me wonder if that version of darling and thoma would ever get into a fight </3 darling just can't stand being touched by someone who's not their boyfriend anymore, and maybe thoma is also sick of having his lord be the one to pleasure his partner (and often being subtly insulted and put down while it happens 😭) :'( buuut theeen the power imbalances come in, and while part of thoma is sure that ayato would never lay him off, he still doesn't want to risk that chance, so he tries to persuade his darling into staying with him by making empty promises such as "I won't let him touch you next time! / I'll tell him to stop sooner! / I won't let him get close to you, don't worry!" but both him and darling know he'll just reluctantly nod his head and stutter out a shaky approval the next time ayato gets handsy with darling. </3

AND OOOHHHH the fic and mini drabble of ayato giving his songbird up for a night as a birthday gift for thoma, only to be left with an achey feeling upon hearing darling and thoma chant love and promises to one another while he could never get that sort of thing out of darling . . . makes me wonder if ayato ever craves for something more intimate like that with his songbird, or if he refuses to acknowledge the pit in his stomach in favor of acting like the man in power :o

AAAHH ITS ALL SO GOOD. I love everything about this whole relationship and the dynamics and situations the characters find themselves in omg. its all so, so, addicting 😔 i cannot stop thinking about it!! i really am interested in the emotions of each party in these types of fics, such as what darling is thinking and feeling (besides pleasure lol), what thoma and ayatos thought processes are – and i really think you do an absolutely wonderful job outright going through the characters own external or internal feelings and emotions, but also using subtlety to explain what emotions, conflict, and tension there is, because imo I feel as though it gets the reader thinking even more about "what will happen next?" or "how does __ feel?" "does this get better/worse?" your work always makes me go through a serious of emotions, but it's always so much fun reading and waiting to see if more will be added to the story or if its left with a cliffhanger/open ending and makes me think of my own continuation!

seeing what you and your creatively, evil anons come up with and invent new ways to torment poor songbird and thoma is always such a blast!! and not even just about the whole thomato stuff, you and your anons are always creating new ideas and scenarios that I never ever find myself bored on your blog. everything is so thrilling and exciting to read, whether it's a first time read or a 7th re-read, your work never leaves me feeling unsatisfied <3

I love everything about him tbh so it's very hard to choose... when I was just starting to play the game I was Really taken in by how kind and altruistic he is. there's ofc the approval whenever you make a 'good' choice + how he's SO impressed when tav does something heroic! and when he talks about it, you definitely get this sense that he wants to make the world better and holds a ton of admiration for the people who do these grand gestures towards its betterment. when he first opens up to you about his folly he has this self-deprecating tone of "ahhh I'm such a piece of shit I'm the worst man alive... I understand if you don't want me around" it's like. man. it is so clearly obvious from everything you say and do that you care a whole lot about others. you're good. in every way that matters to me you are good. even the thing he did for mystra that resulted in him being stuck with the orb was, in part, because he wanted to do something nice for her, someone he loved. it's hard to fault him for that.

I also looove the way he speaks. besides the fact that he has a pleasant voice, it's the fact that he is SO eloquent and artistic and witty. I'm also thinking about how, if you imagine kissing or going on a walk with him hand-in-hand while you're channeling the weave together, and then you ask him how he felt about what you imagined, he's like "oh, I was surprised. but pleasantly so!!" 😭 and that just meant so much to me as someone who... needs reassurance from the people I love that they aren't mad at me. it's just so considerate of him to say it like that and. yeah it made me really happy. I made a post a while ago like "I'm bothered that when he first introduces himself he says he tries his hand at poetry when the mood strikes him but he never actually speaks any poetry in-game." I was referring to him actually reciting some poetry but like. in many ways I was so wrong because EVERYTHING he says is poetry. ugh don't get me started on the way he talks to a romanced tav because that's ESPECIALLY so. INSANITY. insane how perfect this man is. erm.

OH haha another thing is. when he tells you that the night you spent together was wonderful and that now he wants to live etc and he's expecting a response back you can tell him something like "I'm flattered, but you're putting too much pressure on me, I can't be your crutch" and if you say that he's like "OH NO NO NO you're not my crutch! I'm perfectly okay! perfectly stable! haha!! don't worry about me!!" and I always interpreted that as him... quite obviously lying but just not wanting to lose tav so making himself seem a lot more detached and cooler than he is. I love you so much water sign man... also the fact that if you tell him after your night together "funny you should say that, I recall you doing all the work" he specifically talks about giving tav oral sex. much ink has been spilled on this subject, I'm sure, but uh. yeah. it's such a cute moment. he's the best. he's the cutest and sweetest ever I think, and I would do anything for him. which I guess is lucky, because I'm told the feeling is mutual 😁

AND ALSO I LOOOOOOVE that he is kind of a homebody and a malewife... I'm specifically thinking about that one dialogue where he tells you about how he was planning to introduce you to tara over dinner and how he has a magnificent wine cellar and he makes his own homemade hundur sauce with a family recipe it is just. UGH 😩 it's very effective on me what can I say. also this is a very small thing but lately I've been thinking about how adorable it is that gale has a good relationship with his presumably large extended family ("the dekarios clan is scattered far and wide," he says when talking about sending invites for his and tav's wedding). it's very important and endearing to me especially as a guy who... has never had that kind of familial relationship but does kind of crave it.

the thing that especially strikes me rn is just how much he loves tav if you romance him. like he really falls deeply in love with them and he loves them more than he loves even the most important things in his life: mystra and himself. "With you, I forget my goddess. I love you." 🤪💔 GALEEE. I'M CRAZY. and he loves tav enough to listen when they ask him to abandon his dreams of godhood. can you imagine that? can you imagine listening to someone asking that of you just because you love them SO much that it's not worth losing them for anything in the world? yeah I really love that kind of DEEP DEEP devotion and self-sacrificial love that he has because well, I relate, a lot. and it's so beautiful to me that this experience of love that I've personally felt (though not ever reciprocated) was rendered into a digital format through gale's character. Ok, first of all I LOVE the art style. It's cute and the colors are wonderful.

I LOVE her relationship with her mom. It's a pity for her nationality, but I love their relationships here. If the og had her as a "mom friend", here she has more "big sister vibes".

Hay Lin and her grandma gives me the same vibes of the og comic: I love them. I love them. I love them. I love them so much. I'm just sad that Yan Lin is not in the comic for long and that she's in China. I really hope to see her soon (expecially if they're going to kill her as in the og...)

It's a cute series with... way less material than the original, but since it's just a volume, it's not a surprise. Hoping for a sequel. I'm sad tha there's no sight of my favorite characters. Still hoping to see Himerish one day (considering the counsil is evil here, it will be fun). Somehow I think that the fact they're evil is a good starter for the second series, since there will be the old guardians who were treated like shit (probably that journey to China for Hay Lin... is a foreshadowing). I can't wait to stop hating Luba and crying while I see her dying.

I thought I would have hated Cornelia and Taranee, but I ended up loving them. Irma is way more dumbdumb. Og Irma would have a lot of fun on mocking her and I live for this imagery in my head. Will is... Will. Still angsty sad teen in both versions. Hay Lin here is more scienc-y, and less creative which is a pity for me, but it's ok, she's still the cutest girl in town.

I really hope we'll see Phobos or Cedric in the future... I need to destroy Phobos' rebooted cervix.

Satoru is quite a light sleeper. Every little thing can wake him up instantly.

When you start to mutter "no" and moving in your sleep, he's almost immediately awake.

At first he thought something bad was happening to you, which made him sit abruptly, however, it didn't take long for him to realize that you were still sleeping, probably having a nightmare.

He gently caresses your face and softly mutters your name, hoping you'd wake up.

When you finally do, you look up at him with unmistakable relief on your face, hurrying to sit up and hug him desperately.

He's evidently confused, but hugs you back anyway, caressing your back as he tries to soothe you. "Bad dream?" He asks you.

You are still too disturbed by your dream, and you only manage to look up at him and nod as tears threaten to run down your cheeks.

After a while of him holding you and whispering things to your ear, you finally speak. "You aren't careful enough." You say with a dry tone.

Now he can imagine what your nightmare was about. "You are too confident." You continue.

He tenses up under your touch, wondering why you'd say that "I'm the stronge-"

"You don't know that." You cut him off. "Your luck could run out one day, Satoru."

He suddenly takes both of your hands in his, looking into your eyes with a serious expression. "I'm not going anywhere." He says as he places your hands on his chest, over his heart, as if he was trying to make a promise.

"I still have lots of plans with you." He continues, now with a playful smirk on his face.

And with that, he covers your body with his arms, until you fall asleep again.

KENTO NANAMI

Kento needs you in his arms in order to sleep. If he can't feel you close, he wakes up. As simple as that.

And that's exactly what happened tonight. The man stirred as he looked at the clock on his nightstand, marking 4:32 am. Immediately realizing that you were not by his side.

He got up incredibly quickly, a hundred scenarios running through his head, looking for you frantically, until he finally found you in the kitchen, letting out a sigh of relief.

He started to walk towards you, hugging you from behind when he finally reached you, only to realize that you were sobbing.

He gently turned your body by the waist so that he could look at you, asking you what was wrong.

"It was just a nightmare." You answered with a dry tone. Kento didn't fail to notice that there was more to it, he could read you very well.

He gave you a look that said "tell the truth" and you couldn't help but break down in his arms.

"Do you really have to go? Can't you stay?" You cried as you gripped his shirt, hugging him ridiculously tightly.

Kento had been assigned to a mission with a very high risk. You could tell by the way he acted lately that even him was uneasy about it, and it terrified you.

He did his best calming you down, pressing kisses to your forhead and you cheeks, trying to wipe the tears away, but he knew there wasn't much he could do.

"How could I call myself a sorcerer if I don't to what I'm supposed to do, (y/n)?" At times like this, you wished he didn't have such strong morals.

He couldn't promise that he would be fine, that would be cruel.

He could, however, promise you that he would do everything in his power to see you again. And he meant it. That was always his only goal when he was at work, and he knew it had kept him alive so far.

He pressed a kiss to your temple as you layed in bed again, whispering an "I love you." Maybe you were overreacting. Maybe he would do just fine in Shibuya.

SUGURU GETO

Suguru was sleeping soundly... Until he felt a huge blow to his chest.

The pain woke him up immediately, slowly realizing that it had been you you had hit him.

You always slept in his arms, so you ended up accidentally hitting him with you elbow.

He was about to get all insufferable with you and complain, when he noticed that you were still asleep.

The way your face contorted in your sleep indicated him that whatever was going on in your head wasn't nice, so he decided to wake you up.

The man carefully caressed your face, trying to avoid being too rough while trying to wake you up, until you did.

You seemed instantly relieved as you opened your eyes, upon the realization that it was just a dream.

"Hey, hey... It's alright." Your boyfriend whispered as he tried to calm you down.

He hugged you as you sat up, listening attentively to you as you narrated your nightmare.

He tried helping you make sense out of your dream, he had always been a great listener.

Your head against his chest while he ran his fingers through your hair, getting those hairs that stuck to you face due to your tears out of the way as he listened.

After some time went by, and silence ruled over the room, Suguru finally spoke.

"You do know I'd never let anything happen to you, right?" He asked, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.

When you didn't answer, the man got a little bit offended.

"Right?" He asked again, faking a threatening tone in his voice to make you laugh.

You still didn't answer him, deciding to play his game.

"Answer!" He said, shaking your body in his arms, this time making you laugh quite loudly, and he couldn't help but laugh with you.

"By the way," he started, "you hit me quite hard."

YUTA OKKOTSU

Yuta could only ever sleep peacefully when you were by his side, usually holding you close during the night.

Still, he was a very light sleeper anyway.

It was inevitable that your mumbling woke him up.

As he was coming to his senses, Yuta noticed how distressed you looked in your sleep, and figured that it would be better to wake you up.

"(Y/n)" He mumbled as he stroke your cheek lovingly.

You immediately opened your eyes, violently sitting up and looking around, only to start crying once your eyes rested on Yuta.

He instantly reached out for you, pulling you close to him and asking you about what happened.

He was perceptive enough to know that your dream was somehow related to him.

At some point your worry for Yuta had to come to the surface in some way.

He felt terrible. He didn't like being the reason of your sadness. He knew you had been especially worried for him during the past few days as things were getting more and more hectic.

He didn't quite know what to say... What could he say? That there was nothing to worry about? That would be a lie. That he was careful? You already knew that.

So he just hugged you. Letting you cry for a little while.

"I really love you, (Y/n). I'm sorry" He felt like that was the only thing he could say that could mean something.

You didn't want him to apologize, though. Yuta being someone so noble, who always wanted to help, was one of the things you loved him for in the first place.

So you just hugged him tighter. Yuta is noble, yes. But he's also incredibly strong. The only thing you can do is trust him.

so. simply - geno was the first hockey player i ever EVER fell in love with. The way he skates with almost a languorous looming grace that belies his speed and strength? the way he's capable of seemingly appearing out of nowhere to effortlessly dance his way through a battalion of defenders to slot the puck in the back of the net? I don't know exactly what it was or how to put it in words. but the moment I saw a random pittsburgh penguins game on tv, i just felt this pang of something that made me want to learn everything about him.

his pierogi making session for local tv lmao. he's SO LANKY AND YOUNG AND SARCASTIC AND FUNNY AND FLIRTY HERE. the way he chops the cabbage takes me tf out

the local CAR COMMERCIAL the pittsburgh penguins filmed that is literally the most cringe thing i have EVER SEEN. max talbot's terrible facial hair? and the way geno doesn't say a single WORD - just looms with a terrifyingly awkward smile hanging off his mouth. it makes me cackle everytime. i ADORE HIM.

I genuinely love Geno's sense of humor and his sly deadpan sarcasm and love for fucking with his teammates lmao. The story about how his teammates used to invite Geno out to dinner when Geno was new to pittsburgh kills me? how Geno always responded "da" or "$" ...and didn't show up when he responded "da" and showed up when he responded "$"? THIS MAN!

Related to #13, the way bullying is Geno's love language fills my gremlin heart with delight. In all the videos with Sidney - the dynamics of their interactions are so consistent. Sidney - earnest appreciation. sincere supportive vibes. Geno - AHAHAaaHAA SIDNEY BOOOOOOOOOO sidNEY WHY YOU DO THAT AHAhahaHAHAAH I WIN SIDNEY YOU SUCK BOOOOOOOOO Sidney - [helpless giggling and honking laughs because sidney genuinely believes geno is the funniest person on this planet.

The time Sidney cried during the 1000th game tribute video and said "I'm going to cry" or something along those lines and Geno just simply said "Yeah me too." THEY. THEM.

Also - in spite of his deadpan sense of humor and love for irony and sarcasm and trolling - the way he has always. ALWAYS always aLWAYS always ALWAYS ALWAYS made it clear that he only ever wants to play with sidney, and that to him sidney is the best.
