Man, including Jaiden, Bunnydoll has around 65 kids! 65 KIDS! AND those are only the ones I know, it might be more out there.

Ghost of Tsushima CYOA Part 8

This is it. The conclusion.

It's not satisfying for Jin, but I don't think any confrontation with his uncle could be. It's sad, and melancholy, but with a hint of hope... much like the game.

I hope you've enjoyed this fic, and I thank everyone who voted on even a single poll, everyone who liked any of the parts, and everyone who reblogged. I wrote this for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it too.

The conclusion is below the cut:

“I’m the man who killed Kazumasa Saki.” Tenzo declared.

Jin felt his heart jump into his throat. “Tenzo!”

“Jin,” Shimura said in a tone that would have had young Jin shaking where he stood and apologizing for anything and everything.

“Uncle, please. I’ve come to an understanding with him. We’re allies. He helped defeat The Eagle. Whatever his past crimes—”

“Enough.”

Jin’s ears rang, he heard that twice. Both Shimura and Tenzo scolded him into silence. They were both older than him, but Jin wasn’t a child!

“This isn’t about me. You cannot let it end like this, Jin. You’ve come to terms with your father. You both need to reconcile, now, or you’ll never be free,” Tenzo urged.

Shimura snorted derisively. “What would a murdering bandit know of reconciliation.”

“Your nephew still lives,” Tenzo declared. He sheathed his sword, his technique decent enough.

“To satisfy the shogun, you both should be dead.” Shimura glared at them both but didn’t draw his katana.

“And yet we both live… and you are unharmed, my Lord.” Tenzo’s pronunciation of Shimura’s title dripped with sarcasm. Shimura frowned but otherwise didn’t voice his displeasure. Jin felt like he was about to be ill. Clearly, he and Shiumra were at an impasse. Tenzo wasn’t helping. He was trying… but not helping. Tenzo decided to not-help some more, “If your men hadn’t been so quick chasing after the butcher of Iki, I would have taken your nephew that day. He would have made a fitting raider. He’s strong, smart, and loyal, with a good heart. And I would have loved him as a son more than you ever have.”

“How dare you—” Shimura was interrupted.

“Raiders don’t kill our own. This man is your family, and you are too stubborn and bound by imaginary rules from a faraway lordling—playing at war and used to casting people’s lives aside like unlucky fortunes—to see that he still loves you despite all that!” Tenzo finished by shouting. The forest was eerily silent, all the wildlife scared into hiding. It was as if the world was holding its breath.

Shimura remained silent, staring past Jin and directly at Tenzo while contemplating his words. Jin wanted to fall to the ground and beg forgiveness. He wanted to agree and shout how unfair his uncle was being. He too remained silent and held his breath.

“Love… and honor… are not always compatible.” Shimura sighed, “Be glad I let both of you live.”

“That’s it? That’s the end?” Jin demanded, “You let us live?”

“Stay on Iki. The samurai will patrol the island once and leave. I will deem it not worth the shogunate’s time to rule.” Shimura strode to his horse without looking back, trusting Jin and Tenzo. “That is the end for us Jin. What I wish does not matter.”

“Uncle—” Jin tried to follow but Tenzo grabbed his arm to hold him back.

“Ride back with me… but stay out of sight of the camp.” Shimura patted Kaze on the nose, then mounted his own horse.

“What will you tell them?” Jin asked and gestured vaguely towards himself and his armor.

“Nothing. They are loyal enough to not question me,” Shimura’s response was enough of a rebuke that Jin asked no further questions. Tenzo squeezed his shoulder reassuringly.

They rode back. Shimura returned to the safety of the encampment. Tenzo spoke with Fune, directing the efforts of having raiders and commoners alike take refuge from the samurai patrol sweeping the island. There was no bloodshed. The samurai sailed away, to Tsushima.

Jin, now formally—or informally—exiled, remained.

Today, with the sails of his uncle’s fleet departed over the horizon, he sat once again at Hachibee’s apiary. His flute lay unplayed in his lap. He didn’t feel like making music much today. Mediating in silence, with the droning bug of bees in ambiance around him, was enough. The sun was warm on his back.

His get felt like he’d swallowed ice. Nothing had changed. Nothing had been gained.

“He loves you.” Tenzo walked out from Hachibee’s house with a pot of tea and two cups. “It’s only as much as a samurai can love, but it’s more than nothing.”

He had gained some closure. The knowledge that his uncle didn’t want him dead. A fact that did not change his current exile. He would never see Yuna again unless he got a letter to her. The same was true of Norio, Masako, and Ishikawa. Not that it was safe for any of them to be in contact with him.

“I wasn’t lying Jin. When I said I would have taken you in if the other samurai hadn’t come.” Tenzo sat next to Jin and laid out their tea. “You have more people that care for you than you know. Some of them are just too caught up in their own pain to show it.”

Jin sighed wearily and broke seiza to flop back on the soft grass of the meadow around Hachibee’s home. Tenzo wasn’t wrong. The pain still lingered. The voice of the Eagle’s poison, in reality the shrouded corners of his subconscious, snarked bitingly at him. Circular logic, which he now to be such, chased itself around the confines of his skull like a family of weasels. Thanks to that damnable potion dragging his demons into the light he’d been able to confront them, though… “You don’t think a dose of the Eagle’s poison would help him spit it out?” Jin attempted a joke.

Tenzo easily read through his tone. “I don’t think so. You’re still closed up tighter than a clam.”

“Is that an innuendo?” Jin chuckled bitterly.

“It could be, but I don’t think now’s the time.” He covered Jin’s hand with his own, and smiled when Jin interlaced their fingers. “Now you need to settle in to life on Iki. Once you’re comfortable here, then we’ll take next steps.”

Jin nodded and squeezed Tenzo’s hand.

“Both of you!” Hachibee called from behind the shoji door of his house, “food is ready.”

Tenzo chugged his tea and picked up the pot. Jin let his head loll to the side to stare at his own steaming cup.

When was the last time he’d been able to have a lazy day such as this. When had he been able to process his feelings instead of swallowing them down for the sake of his mission, honor, or the safety of his home. It felt like such a long time. Jin reached his hand out to Tenzo and brushed at the skin of his ankle; Tenzo had waited for him.

“I think I like it here,” Jin mused, “I could become comfortable with this.”

⋆｡˚☽˚｡⋆ Finally they're stopping and he's having a bottle of water tossed back at him giving him only so much time to catch it before he cracks the lid and starts to guzzle it down with little abandon. Fuery doesn't need to tell him to drink that while he explains that this Gaudium whatever is Amestris 10x more fucked. So really though, what could be worse than that bearded bastard and fuckin' Bradley?!

"Fuery you ain't makin' any se-" He cuts himself short when he notices the radio in Fuery's hand. He's talking to someone named .. Cid? Another alien?

˚₊‧꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ The radio he has clipped to his belt blares to life without warning and the frequency tuning in is Kain not Kumo. Which that in and of itself is odd. So he's pulling it to his ear as quickly as he can but Kain is talking before he can even get a hello out and he says oh shit oh shit - They finally found Mr. Mustang's son but they got separated from Kumo in the process because Gaudium showed up. More like Kumo probably sent them away because he didn't want Kain and the boy to see what he was about to do.

"I'm here, I hear you. Take a deep breath for me Kain. Is the boy alright? Just bring him home. Kumo will be alright. Don't forget how strong he is. This isn't the first time Gaudium's caught him and they haven't been able to take him yet. He'll kill before he lets them take him back to that place. He will defend himself, I promise Kain. He'll be okay but I'll go tell Kaze just in case and I'll get a trace on his location, alright?"

⋆˖⁺‧₊☽◯☾₊‧⁺˖⋆ White is rolling out of him in plumes when she even dares mention Sielu and he's ready to tear her throat out for even verbally being in the same sentence as him. She's walking towards him without a care in the damn world and as if he couldn't pull the Maken on her without so much as blinking.

""I'll kill you for everything you did to Opettaja!!" He snarls at her as his hands ball into fists and he's letting more and more white flood out of him causing the space around them to start to gain the slightly haze in the air.

But she's unphased and merely decides to lay out her rules that he could have seen coming from a mile away. If he resists, the people around them die and apparently the next town over just for the trouble. That's ... too many causalities and he can't allow it to happen.

If he fights, they die.

If it had just been these men, he would have ran. He would have ran to get them out into a space where causing carnage wouldn't have been so out in the open and easy to see. He would have just lured them away from the town but Herba makes it all the more complicated.

How lovely it is it to see his fellow Lord. That is if lovely meant nauseating and lovely could be translated into the equivalent of spending an entire day stuck in the same room as the Piipsa. He doesn't know how to put the proper amount of sarcasm in his voice to tell her just how much he hates her but at the same time, somehow he thinks he if does, she'll kill someone just to prove a point.

The men with her are closing in on him and he's hissing and growling the entire time they put their hands on him. He's snapping at him as if in threat and nothing else when he bares his teeth as if to say he will bite but yet never does as his arms get yanked behind his back and his wrists are bound together. So all he does is continue to heave white clouds from his lungs and he can hear their hearts starting to slow.

He can wait. He can play their game. He'll kill her while he's at it and once he thinks he's put enough mist in the air, he's drawing his mask again just in case she gets any bright eyes. Though knocking him out at this point would be pointless since she can't lift him and the men she's baited in to helping her would be getting more than they bargained for when they tried.

"Now walk." One of them hisses at him but he doesn't move an inch. "I said walk." And he feels himself stumble a bit as there is the end of the man's gun shoved straight into his spine.

He growls again. Deep and low, snarling towards the man who dared while the largest of the group puts their hand down on his bound wrists and pushes.

There's a much shorter growl this time as he begins to walk, painfully slow.

"They have him." He hears a voice whisper.

"That woman has captured Lord Makenshi." Another voice sounds from behind her.

"They've finally caught him."

"Thank the Gods we're all saved!"

"We've been spared the demon's wrath! Thank the Gods!"

"Praise be, they finally caught him!"

And his stomach is turning again at the chatter. He doesn't know what's worse.

These people dying for his rebellion or living to drink the poison of their ignorance.

A smile stretches across pale green features as soon as she spots equally-green eyes.

The town is already running, though they don't have a single clue that Makenshi isn't the one they should be so scared of.

No, Makenshi has always needed a little... motivation, so to speak. He's almost as weak as the rest of them.

And, apparently, he wants to claim that he bites.

Maybe it's a trick he learned from the blue one.

"Biting won't stop me, 'kenshi-baby. Go on, mimic your mentor... too much of that is just going to get all these whining little dogs put down though. Perhaps part of that... agreement you had with His Excellency? You wouldn't want to do that here, would you? Think of just how long we've been looking for you, 'kenshi-baby."

She laughs, walking closer to the swordsman without a care in the world.

"One wrong move and they're all dead. I'll make them all suffer. Do you understand? I'll spare them if - "

"I'll kill you for everything you did to Opettaja," he snarls. She can only laugh again, following it with a 'tsk'. It's an empty threat at best, if he knows what's good for him.

"Is that what his name is? Don't worry, 'kenshi-baby, I'll get him back soon enough... but you, darling, are the target this time. Listen again. If you raise your sword to me, I will kill every last person in this town and the next. Got it?"

The smile never leaves her face as she nods, signalling the men with her to begin surrounding the body of white. He'll be home soon enough.

Ed stops him, panting and nearly doubled over. They can't afford to stop for long, but Ed doesn't seem like he's in any shape to run either.

His hands slip into the bag that his cloud had dropped on his shoulders, retrieving a bottle of water for the boy.

"We need to keep going. Gaudium is bad news. There's no - Look, he doesn't get scared like that, Ed. Kumo is powerful enough to take down anyone or anything, but Gaudium is all... corrupt and bad and they hate him. That's what the posters were," he explains, digging now for a radio to get back in touch with Cid.

"Take Amestris, make it ten times as fucked, and that's Gaudium. Drink that and give me just a second to figure this out, okay?"

And the switch is flipped. Static, for a moment, then the clarity he needs to speak with.

"Hey, Cid? We found Ed, then I got separated from Kumo because Gaudium showed up. I don't know what to do. Are you there? Is it okay if I come home?"

Final Opinion; [If you didn't already see my earlier post for @shiroi---kumo , then just know that this here is the OTHER half of that aforementioned Dynamic Duo, both in terms of sheer artistic and creative talent on the Mun's side of things, and the cool-as-hell Gun-Mage RPC. The difference, though, is that I found out about Kira and their Sword-Prince RPC through Quen here and their counterpart Kaze... and while the Magigun of Bahamut has indeed run into the Shaman, I don't think I can say enough how much I have been spoiled by Quen randomly dunking on me with fanart of the big lad. More interactions will eventually be in the works, and I'm going to show my appreciation to this incredible artist-and-writer properly one of these days, even if I have to shove my hard-earned money down their throat for something they draw me eventually.]

InuKag Family (My Verision)

So this is my personal post-canon InuKag family!!!! Just in time before HNY-is-Over-Party Day is over!

NOTE: My personal post-canon universe is unrelated to my Yashahime rewrite universe that I posted about early today. The rewrite is more of a what-if scenario/Alternate Universe (much like how the actual Trashahime feels).

Of course I had to add Shippo because he'd without a doubt be the best Big Brother/Uncle figure to the InuKag daughters! I imagine though that Shippo is away often due to his fox exams. The reason too for him being the height of a 10-12 year old is because of his demon heritage. Maybe one day I'll draw him as a full-grown adult.🤷‍♀️

The 2nd daughter is my OC named Katsumi (Victorious Beauty) who I originally created back in 2017, but then went back and redesigned almost 2 years ago. Katsumi is about 3-4 years younger than Moroha, and also has demonic/spiritual powers, but is unable to do the bow and arrow due to disability, so Inu crafted for her a special sword that balances both demonic and spiritual powers.

I really tried emphasizing how Katsumi's appearance heavily favors Kagome, while we all pretty much agree Moroha favors InuYasha (even though you can see Kagome too in Moro just as much). Dispite their differences in appearance and personalities though, both Moro and Kat are really close and work well off of each other in battle (or pranks).

Also made Katsumi a bit taller than his big sis because I was influenced by Ed and Al from FMA:B, okay!? I just think it's funny.

I really like the 2nd pic best I think because I have this headcanon that Inu doesn't see his girls as his little princesses, but his little demons (both figuratively and literally), and that when they visited Kagome's era, he saw those shirts and was like "Yup, I'm getting these". So Moroha and Katsumi are Daddy's Lil' Demons!!!!! Sorry I don't make the rules.

(And yes, in my post-canon, the well still works, most likely due to Kagome's being strong enough to open it, and later, Moro and Kat's powers too).

An Introduction To VIXX

Warning: Long post ahead. This is specially made to let you learn more about VIXX and is especially handy when you’re new to VIXX or looking for some more information about them. 

VIXX (빅스,Voice Visual Value In Excelsis) is a six member Korean boy group formed by Jellyfish entertainment in 2012. They were the company their first, and to this day only, boy group.

The six males were chosen to be in the group together while the show MyDOL happened. MyDOL was a reality survival show on Mnet, all ten males that participated in the show were under Jellyfish Entertainment.

VIXX made their official debut on May 24th, 2012 and have since surprised people all over the world with their story telling concepts and performances.  Since that date, they have been nominated for 65 awards of which they won 23 and have they managed to win 29 awards in Korean music shows (like M Countdown and The Show)  Their fans are called Starlights and their official colors are Navy blue and shining gold.  There is a lot of mutual respect between Starlights and VIXX, they don't even need bodyguards around them most of the time.  People might know them as the concept kings, or that one kinky group.

His acting skills are really nice, he knows how to portray his emotions without being over the top. 

Hongbin might be salty but he is also a caring person. His teasing just means that he likes you. 

He is so photogenic, it’s not even funny anymore. 

He is a big tease and will often team up with Hyuk to tease the older members.

He has a very gentle and almost cute look to him, his dimples and bright smile will always stand out in a crowd.

VIXX To Me

VIXX are so much to me, they are just always by my side through their music to cheer me up or make me feel less lonely. Not only that, thanks to me being a starlight I have met and befriended people I wouldn’t have met otherwise. They are inspirations to me, all six of them. They are so incredibly hard working and they always seem to be themselves. It is admiring really. VIXX are among the most caring and nice idols out there, from what I have seen. They meet up with Starlights quite a lot (For example after their musicals), they do a lot of fan service and don’t get me started on the fact that they have been keeping up with VIXX TV for years now. They are six guys who are so, so talented and so caring and loving. Honestly, I am very proud to be part of the Starlight fandom like I have been since 2014.

Warning: Spoilers for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Year 6 ahead.

Artemis Hexley and the Circle of Khanna is officially over (and has been for a bit but I just didn't come around to write this up, oops), so it is time for another round of Kaze Reviews 💛

So, out of all the Hogwarts years covered, Year 6 is undoubtedly the scariest year to adapt. I know many people who changed the canon or shied away from dealing with this year altogether, and I judge neither of them for their decision. I do prefer adaptations keeping as close to the source material as possible while taking on the personal spin of the author (and actual coherence), and you ticked both of these boxes, as you always do.

That I loved every single word of this to bits and pieces goes without saying. I don't think I've read a series that captured me as much as the Saga does in a genre that isn't even something I usually deal with (honestly, coming of age and all... not my thing), or at least not since reading Harry Potter while actually growing up myself. The amount of involvement and emotional reactions you draw from me honestly get more intense with every instalment of this series.

Now, let's see why I think you're seriously beyond help if you think Artemis Hexley and the Circle of Khanna is an optional read and can be skipped:

Grief: Naturally, the topics of grief, death, and handling both of these are the big, big theme in Y6. I know it was an intimidating thing for you to do justice, and I can wholeheartedly say that you did. The amount of care and research you put into this to make sure everything is depicted in a respectful way is stunning and sets the best of examples of how sensitive topics like these should be dealt with. Pacing: Tying in with the first point, you made the fantastic decision to break with JC's pacing for good, this time. The little room they gave to Rowan's death and the process of grief the MC and other characters go through was one of the big turn-offs for me that made the fantastic (from a narrative POV, and just IMO) decision to kill a beloved character like Rowan off feel badly executed and wasted. You were brave enough to break away and give it the space it deserved, and I can't thank you enough for it. Characterisations: That characterisations are one of the strongest points in your writing is hardly a secret anymore, but I think especially in Y6, where all of the characters go through varying degrees of trauma, your ability to characterise really had its time to shine. You have become a master at the "show don't tell" aspect of writing, and you never had to tell us once that other characters than Artemis were struggling, too, and you didn't need to. It was all incredibly plain to see and masterfully done. Growth: Growth happens in the hard times of our lives, and for many of the characters, the events of Y6 were the hardest times of their lives to date. You know them so well at this point that the way every one of them chose to deal with their grief was 100 % fitting with their personalities. In general, there was a big underlying topic of leaving, moving on and parting ways that went through Y6, and how it can tear us apart or make us grow together, and I like to think that all of the main characters came out of it having learned their part.

Technique: I literally don't know how you did it, but the number of emotions you were able to convey in this story without ever losing sight of the plot or advancing it one way or another.... just wow. Teach me.

Narrator: Okay, technically, this would fall under the previous point, BUT this is something that stood out for me so much more in Y6 than in all the other years so far. With Artemis falling into this deep hole, her perspective turns even more subjective and unreliable than usual, and especially in C13 it showed. Having a narrator I can't 100 % trust is one of my favourite things to find in books, so yay for that 💛

Allegiances: So... I know the plot of the Saga (because you're the best friend, honestly). I know what happens and who does what for which reasons and yet... not even I know who I can trust at this point. That's how good you write the moral greyness and shadiness of your characters and how convincing you make their motives. I honestly lost track and am confused and it's the best thing ever.

Atmosphere: Tying in with the theme of Y6, the whole atmosphere was dark and eerie and just downright fantastic. I know you don't like angst or horror, but let me just say... you nailed it. Completely nailed it. And as a bonus, it made all the little light glimpses that made me smile or laugh just all the more precious.

Personal: Seeing as Lizzie has now left the story for good, let me just say another big, big, big, BIG thank you for having her. It's an honour to know my girl was (at least a very, very small) part of this incredible journey.

So now, there's only the final year left, which means your own lore, your own plot and putting a bow on one of the biggest achievements I've seen in this fandom. You laid the best groundwork for the finale with the past six years, and the only one who has become dearer to me than Artemis and your characters is... well, you, obviously 💛💛💛
