Seungcheol doesn’t understand the gravity of his words until they spill out of his mouth; a panicked look on his face when you go completely silent in the seat across from him. “I m-mean, uh, I mean, like, fuck. I’m sorry, that must’ve been way too out of bounds. I just---it’s just, you don’t want to go home and---and I can take care of you while you’re here! Even if it’s just a couple days. I can help you film too!” He curses himself for rambling; immediately shutting himself up.

“I--I don’t want to bother you, ‘Cheol… That’s really too kind of you…” A shy blush coats your skin; chewing on your bottom lip when you shyly avoid his gaze. “A-and my filming stuff is back home too… I brought a few toys with me so I could film my weekend shows but--but my camera…”

“I can ask Jeongguk!”

You shoot him a bewildered look, brow quirking. “He--he streams sometimes too, like, video games ‘n shit. He actually offered me his extra equipment a while back, if I ever wanted to get into it myself. I can ask to borrow it, if you want?”

You drink in his words, unsure. The thought of staying with Cheol might’ve danced across your mind a handful of times, but now that the offer was on the table, you weren’t sure how to respond.

You trusted Seungcheol, and you knew by now that he would never do anything to hurt or betray you. But this was a far leap from how things were the last time you’d seen him.

“Listen, I can see the cogs in your head turning, baby. You don’t have to if you don’t want to, I’m not forcing your hand into anything you don’t want. But I know you’ve been wanting to get out a ‘lil more and… well, in truth, I think it’d be nice for both of us? I can take care of you while you’re here with me and we can keep each other company.” He pauses, smiling at you from across the booth. “But I can also take you back to your hotel room and let you pack so you don’t get home too late.”

“‘Cheol I trust you.. It’s just that… I’m s-scared…”

“Scared? Of what, baby?”

The warmth blooms inside of you; shy eyes meeting his.

“Scared that I’m not gonna wanna go home…”

Seungcheol takes it easy for the rest of the day and doesn’t make an effort to get an answer out of you. He takes you around the city, tugging you into shops he thinks you’d like and walking around with you aimlessly until the sun goes down.

But time seems to go even faster once he takes you to dinner; a sigh on his lips when he knows he has to bring the topic back up.

“I hate to ask but… I have to take you back to your hotel after this so…” Seungcheol trails off, leaving it open-ended for you.

“I know… I just want to know… Why do you like me so much?”

The question takes Seungcheol by surprise; eyes wide as saucers. “I--I’m sorry I don’t follow?” You chuckle under your breath, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear.

“It’s just… we were strangers, kind of, before Friday, you know what I mean? And now you’re offering your place to me to just… crash at for a few days? What if I rob you blind? Or what--what if you try something with me that I don’t like?” You suddenly start catastrophizing; mind going a mile a minute with potential outcomes.

“Hey, whoa, whoa, wait. Calm down, sweetheart. It’s okay! Breathe!” You let out a shaky exhale, groaning as you hide your face in your palms. “God, ‘Cheol, ‘m sorry, I--I really want to stay with you for a few days. It’s just that my brain is going light speed and I can’t keep up. I really like you too, you’ve been nothing but kind and sweet and you’re so handsome, it’s just so crazy to me...” Your words are slightly muffled but Seungcheol catches it, a soft chuckle on his lips when he leans his head on his palm.

“I’ll sleep on the sofa and leave you alone. You can take the bed. Hell, you can even rob me blind and I’d say thank you.”

He reaches his free hand over, fingers circling your wrist as he pulls your hand down. “And I’m offering you my place because I like you as you. You’re cute and funny, and so fuckin’ humble. And I want to get to know you better. In person, y’know?”

“Y-yeah… I wanna get to know you better too. And it’s only a couple days right?”

“Right.”

Seungcheol drives you back to your hotel, a smile on his face when he sees you in better spirits.

He parks his car in front, turning to face you. “So I’ll just wait here while you grab your things and check out, okay? I’ll contact ‘Guk to see if I can swing by and take that extra equipment he offered.”

This time you nod cheerily, body buzzing with excitement as you hurriedly step out of his car. “I’ll be quick!”

He gives it a moment before he picks his phone up, taking a deep breath before typing out a message to the younger male.

‘Hey, ‘Guk I have a favour. Get back to me asap if u can.’

Confusion crosses Seungcheol’s features; fingers hovering over the keyboard. ‘What are you talking about?’

‘It’s a deal. I’ll be there in an hour and a half.’

A sigh escapes Seungcheol’s lips, his eyes dancing over to your figure that skips towards the car. He locks his phone just as you tap on the glass, popping the trunk before he steps out.

“How’d it go? All checked out?”

“Mmhmm! Did you get in contact with Jeongguk? What’d he say?”

A nervous laugh spills from his lips as he puts your small luggage in the trunk, slamming it shut before rounding the car to open your door. “I’ll help you get settled in at my place and then I’ll drive over really quick and grab the stuff from his place.”

You hop in his car, fiddling with the seatbelt until Seungcheol slides into the driver’s seat.

“He didn’t ask what you needed it for?” Gulp. Shit.

“I just told him that I was thinking about streaming, for--for gaming stuff. He was okay with it.”

He’d tell you the truth. Soon, he promises.

No. Now.

Seungcheol sighs, hands on the wheel as he stares straight ahead. “No, no, I--I can’t sit here and lie to you. Jeongguk knows you. I’m sorry I couldn’t tell you earlier, I told him to keep his mouth shut because I didn’t want him to bother you while we were at the roller rink.”

“I--oh…”

He can only nod; eyes dancing over to you as you play with the hem of your dress. “Yeah, I--I’m really sorry. He--He also found out I was ‘dom.cheol’ too and, fuck, I--I don’t know, I kind of panicked too. I hid that part of me from everyone I know so it was just… it was a lot.”

You loved Aaliyah, even though she wasn’t your biological daughter, you loved her like she was. The whole morning was the two of you eating breakfast on a blanket in the park before deciding it was time to play games. The little girl was faster than you imagined, her little legs seemed to carry her farther and faster than your legs allow you to. You tried to catch up to her but your attempts seemed to only slow you down. “Aaliyah wait for me, baby!” You shout out to her. But your words only fueled her little legs to move faster. She turned the corner of the playground and you saw as one foot gave out underneath her and she fell against the sharp rock. You could hear her wailing as you reached her, bending down and seeing the blood gushing from her little arm. “Y/N!” She cries out to you. You inspect the wound which was deep. Panic was running through your body, wrapping your arms around the little girl and carrying her towards your car. Everything was happening quickly, and all you could think about was the injured child in your arms.

“It’s going to be okay baby,” You whispered in her ear, trying to reassure the both of you guys. You gently put her in the seat and buckling her in, giving her one of her extra shirts to put over the wound. You could hear her cries, it hurt your soul to see hear like this, hurt. “Aaliyah, hold this here. Okay, baby?” You told her, she nodded and then you hopped in the car, speeding down the streets towards the closest hospital. “Hi sunshine,” The doctor greeted Aaliyah, pulling her arm so she could inspect the wound. It was a deep cut and needed to be cleaned and stitched up. “We’re just going to clean this and put it back together. And while we do that, we have a little surprise for you,” The doctor gently tells Aaliyah before pulling out a teddy bear from a children’s drawer. She handed it to the sniffling girl who mumbled a quiet thank you. “She is going to be fine. She just needs a couple of stitches.” The doctor explains to you. You let out a sigh of relief, wiping some tears from your eyes and nodding to her. You pull out your phone and called Richard, but the ringing would just keep on going until you got voicemail. So you called the next person you could think of. It rung a couple of times until you could hear the familiar voice. “Aye Y/N! Que pasa?” You could hear the bubbly voice of the young boy. “Hey, Erick. Is Richard there?” You aks. He mumbles something about Richard recording something in the booth. “Tell him it’s an emergency.” “Shit. Que paso?” Erick asks, he stood up from the couch and knocked on the window that separated him and Richard. Once Richard heard it, he pulled the headphones off and asked Erick what he wanted. “It’s Y/N. There’s an emergency,” He tells him. And that’s all you heard before you could hear the concerned voice of Richard, talking to you. “What happened?” He asks. “Aaliyah’s getting stitches. She fell babe, and you should be here.” You inform him. He doesn’t say anything and just hangs up the phone. You turn back to Aaliyah and the doctor. She begins the process, cleaning the wound before injecting the local anesthetic to Aaliyah’s arm. You held her other hand and placed kisses on her temple, trying your hardest to comfort her. You just wished you had never taken her to the park, that way she would be happy and uninjured. The guilt consumed you when you looked at Aaliyah, cheeks stained from the tears. When it was time for the stitches you made Aaliyah look at you, telling her a story about a princess. It was a stressful process but she was strong and she got through it. Now that you weren’t as worried as you had been earlier, the guilt came crashing down, like a wave almost drowning you. Aaliyah was hurt because of you, you shouldn’t have taken her to the park and you could have avoided this. But you tried to not show it, instead focusing on the girl. Before you knew it, Richard bursts in immediately pulling his daughter into a tight hug and whispering sweet words to her. You just needed to make sure he was okay because Aaliyah was fine now, just stitched up but she was good. “Are you okay?” You ask him. He gives you a short nod, turning into the parking lot of the ice cream shop. The boys stood outside, waiting for you to arrive so they could all greet their baby girl and spoil her with love. Just why did you think it was okay to take her out of the house?” “Because Richard she doesn’t want to be cooped up. Plus I have known her basically her entire life,” You try to explain your reason. You understood that he was mad and worried but you already felt guilty enough. You watched as he rolled your eyes at your words. “Yeah. But you aren’t her parent so you had no right, she isn’t your daughter Y/N. You should have just kept her home until I got back” He snaps at you. And you could hear the anger in his voice, and you understood it because he was a dad. But he didn’t have to snap at you like that. Your heart drops at his words, your chest constricting as you breathe in. You already felt bad for what happened but Richard was right, you weren’t her parent and because you took her out she had to get stitches. “You’re right. I’m not,” You whisper. Both of you sit in silence for a moment. You try your hardest to keep the tears out of your eyes. Yeah, you weren’t Aaliyah’s parent, but she grew up with you and you both each loved each other so much. You just didn’t share the same blood but it didn’t matter, because it seemed like you had bonded with each other, she was like a daughter to you. “Go inside. Go be with Aaliyah.” You tell him, pulling the handle of the car door and stepping out. You quickly grabbed your bag and jacket from the console in the middle. “What are you doing?” He asks, watching as you grabbed your belongings and left him alone in the car. He quickly followed you, unbuckling his seatbelt and hopping out of the car. “I’m going to get my car from the hospital. Don’t worry. Go be with your daughter.” You answer. You grab your phone from your bag, you pulled up the app and requested a ride, not daring to meet Richard’s eyes because you know that you would break down. “Y/N-” He starts but you put your hands up which stopped him. He didn’t want to hurt you or push you away. It just came out, and he shouldn’t have been so blunt and harsh about it. Accidents happen but he was just so worried about his baby girl that he forgot what you must be feeling. “Please. Just go make sure she’s okay and happy,” You tell him. He nods at your words, knowing that if he stopped you it would make things worse. You needed space from him at the moment and he understood that. You leaned against his car, counting down the two minutes until your uber arrived, you could hear Richard’s footsteps fade as he left you in silence and walked into the ice cream shop. “Papi,” The younger girl called out standing up in the booth as soon as she spotted her father walking towards them. The four other boys followed her eyes and turned to see Richard by himself as he pulled himself into the booth. “Y Y/N?” Zabdiel asks, wondering where his closest friend was. Richard let out a heavy sigh at his question, rubbing his hand against his face before looking up at his bandmates. “It’s my fault but she left.” Richard answers. The boys all looked at each other, knowing that whatever you guys discussed was not good and it was obviously about what happened to Aaliyah. They shifted their eyes from each other over to Richard and Aaliyah, who leaned against her dad and ate her ice cream. The atmosphere of happiness and love was now tense, all of the boys wondering what was said between the two of you.

Then after the turkey incident, you, Parker, got all weird about the fact that Tyler didn’t move back in, even though you were the one against it. Hoary Stock: What are you proudest of?Making it to this point, I wasn’t in a very good state just a bit ago. But with the help of my friends and family I made it out of it. I have an apprenticeship I enjoy, I have my own flat, I have something to stand up for again. I can appreciate myself some more. I was able to see toxic relationships i was in and get away from them and not let myself be guilted but seeing them for what they are and acknowledging that while I am not a saint it doesn’t mean that I have to accept any treatment. I stood up to my mother, even if just a bit that was a huge step for me.

Lupine: What does your name mean? Why is that your name?It seems it comes from the Roman name Julianus, and was the name of a pangan Roman Emperor as well as a name of saints. Sometimes meaning youthful which fits because I look like a baby

Marigold: Where did you grow up? Tell us about it.I grew up in a big city in Germany. Very busy City with high buildings and no time. I lived in a flat when I was very young, a room with big windows where I’d sit and look out ot. Then we moved into the house my dad still lives in. Where houses were built in rows and more people knew each other, I’d walk home and pretend to not see them as to not have to speak to them.

Then I moved in a beautiful flat in a more busy part of the city, with a bookstore in the same building and a supermarket right down the street. My hometown is best described in the colour grey. I dont think it very pretty if I’m honest.Still its full of memories and not half as bad

Morning Glory: What was your bedroom like growing up?Talking about the one in the house. Light peach coloured walls. Small but with big windows to look out of. An old wooden bed in front of one Window, and even older Closet next to the door, already so old that it had been ancient when my dad had been young. A desk in one corner at the other side of the room, above it shelves filled with books, little trinkets on the windowsills. Cabinets filled with paper full of secrets. Posters on the Walls and a round mirror that I hated looking into when I was young.

Mugworts: What was it like for you as a teenager? Did you enjoy your teenage years?  God no. I have repressed most of my younger years. My teenage years were filled with confusion and self doubt. I was a mess, I hated myself, not knowing who I was. And then knowing but being shamed for it, hiding away and keeping my head low to survive. Pushing myself to the limits and clinging to the thought that I could escape at age 18

Norwegian Angelica: Tell us about your mom.My Mother and I are not on good terms. I’ve spend countless of years desperately attempting to please her, hoping for love or anything close to it. I was constantly let down by her. My mother is someone that I fear I’ll never understand, adapting to the men that she is with. Claiming to have reached compassion and selflessness while being the opposite. Acts childish and has never accepted or supported me. Now attempts to lure in my sister whom I fear for as she’s always wanted my mother to love her. I have estranged from her very much and currently I am happy seeing her as less as possible.

Onions: Tell about your dad.  I remember my father as a very autocratic person in my youth. He’d always work and would only be home to cast judgement. We did not get along well, and my mother, like grima wormtongue, had influenced me further into seeing him as a terrible person. Now I see him very differently. In fact I am similar to my father. Hard working, well spoken and crafty. We share a similar humor and I am very thankful for his support over the last year. To me my father is a very good example of how sometimes people can actually change, sometimes second chances will not disappoint you. My father cares very much about our family and I am happy to have gotten close to him again.

Orchid: Tell about your grandparents.I won’t lose many words about my mother’s parents as there isn’t much to say about them.My mothers father was always sick, more often because he believed he was. The years before he died it had only gotten worse. My Grandmother was never really happy in that relationship, something I believe she handed down to my mother.

My fathers parentsWell, when I was young it was difficult, they aren’t exactly children people, despite trying. I especially had my difficulties with my grandmother, who was work above everything and wanted everything to be perfect.I remember her always fixing my clothing. Countless of instances of her and my dad arguing.

When I got older we had barely any contract until I had my coming out to my dad, who told my grandparents. Much to my surprise and I still respect that so much, they were immediately supportive and accepting, perhaps even more than anyone else from my family.

In the last year we grew closer. They helped me with my flat and would come over to set up a few things. I took them to a restaurant that my grandfather would always talk about whenever we talked, happily.

My grandmother and I had phone calls at least once a week, she was also the most interested in my apprenticeship, always curious, sending me old magazines and ideas she had. As well as button ups and shirts she had bought for me or old ones from my grandfather.She offered me support when we talked, told me they’d do anything they could

When my sister and I were getting clothing for my grandpa, as he was saying with us, I found a book on my grandmother’s bedside table.It was an educational oneIn it was also an article she had cut out of a newspaper, the title saying how the support of the family is the most important thing to lgbt children.

the job search is a tough process anon I can sympathize,, for the longest time I was convinced that I wouldn’t be able to find a job, but it does get better ! I’m kinda bad at interviews too lmao but something I recommend doing is practicing potential interview questions with people you’re comfortable with to prepare for the real thing ! just be sure that you don’t overpractice so your answers still sound natural and not scripted ^^ the looking part is up to you, so read up on companies that are fine hiring students and go from there ! good luck! 

about the art part, selling art is hard too ghjdgfh I’m still not great at it,, the best I can suggest is to keep advertising your work--every little bit adds up ! tbh whenever I sell a sticker or smth on RB and it’s like “u made 20 cents” its kinda discouraging and im like wow really this is what all my hard work is getting me?? but in the end its 20 cents more than I had yesterday so at the very least there’s that.
