I'll go first: The Hades/Persephone retellings are overdone and demonize Demeter way too much, which makes them miss the entire point of the original story.

#greek posts #I’m forever shy so i’ll keep my hot take in the tags #I genuinely think that titanomachy desevers a full series adaption #akin to the games of thrones but hopefully without the shitty ending #like the titanomachy is such an interesting period of greek mythology #and it surpises me to no end that it hasnt been adapted in media beyond being forever stuck in flashback-topia #I do think the biggest reasons this hasnt happendd yet is because most of the big name gods arent born yet #and because it would necessicated zeus being the main character…which is kind fair #but like hear me out #this series would be perfect to actually introduce more of the minor gods and goddes and the titans to more people #and second #this one a real hot take for tumblr spefically but given the right writing team #Zeus in a series about the titainomachy Should be Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond level polarizing #natuarlly unlike rose he would be a more active character but all the same he should be inextractable backbone of the series #that everyone has opinons about good or bad
