okay I loved ep 1060-63 but point of order: if wado ichimonji was made by kuina’s grandfather and it was passed down directly to her by him (possibly via koshiro), how is it recorded as a legendary sword? how is it well known enough for tashigi to have been able to read about it? is there a sword archivist who goes around to every island and makes a record of existing cool swords and their names and appearances? what?
#I do love the new lore for wado bc it’s been a long time coming. but the lore also doesn’t quite make sense#when tashigi explains that there even IS lore it’s implied that wado is very old with a rich history#not that’s it’s blacksmith was still ALIVE a decade ago#the importance of wado is still connected to kuina so I’m mostly alright with it personally#but that was a bit of an L oda sorry :/#ALSO. how is shimotsuki village named after a guy who only got here ca fifty years ago :/#it would’ve made morse sense to me personally if the old guy was actually kuina’s great great grandfather or something#and zoro was hanging out with his ghost#that would make Enma make a lot more sense as a legendary sword as well
