Got a 2017 Lenovo ThinkCentre to use as a home server
Gotta solve a couple of issues before I can actually set it up (not enough SATA power connectors + the case has much less space than I expected), but I'm excited to finally have a server again!
#deciding whether to put Debian or Arch in it#previous server ran Debian and it worked great until its poor 12y/o laptop body gave up#but I know Arch much much much better than Debian#so hmmm#could be another distro too ig? nixos sounds cool#I do have to liberate this thing from windows ASAP tho it was sad seeing how much it struggled with W10 when the seller let me test it#deerbleats
