Are we allowed to vent/rant on here? If not just ignore this <3

Anyway, I feel like I'm one of the few fully-sharing selfshippers out there, and I just wonder how many other people actually are. Because from what I've seen, there are not many at all.

Now, the reason I am fully-sharing is because I have personally known *FAR TOO MANY* nonsharing folks who are so incredibly aggressive and hostile to anyone who also selfships with their f/o. It really has left a horribly sour taste in my mouth on the idea of being nonsharing. (Disclaimer: I'm not saying every single person is because obviously there are many very kind folks too, it just seems a quite disproportionate amount are of the hostile type. And as much as I try ((and try, I really do)), it's so hard for me to see past the disproportion.)

For me, I have my own little fantasies in my head in which me and my f/o are together, and that's real near and dear to my heart, and I'd be lying if I said that I don't get a little jealous of other people sometimes, but I know that there are so many other folks out there who love and ship themselves with the same character. In my mind, everyone deserves to have fun with whatever characters they like, regardless of other people liking them.

I'll always share my love of my f/o with others who like them too. It's nice to see other people happy, and they're literally not taking anything from me, because what I have in my mind with my f/o is mine to keep!

Perhaps some of this mindset that I have comes with age and maturity. As an adult, I think it's ridiculously pathetic and so childish to treat others like shit for shipping themselves with the same character you do. You can be nonsharing, but just because you are nonsharing does NOT give you the right to be an asshole to others who ship with your f/o!
