#I die on the lamb is both emotionally mentally and socially stunted in some regards due to how much isolation lambs must’ve lived in

Does the lamb care about their followers? In my mind not really…
Their followers are just that, theirs. In the lambs head they, subconsciously, associate their followers with a new flock to be apart of but they are also the shepherd. They care for them because that is all they have outside of the powers of godhood. It brings them pride when they are happy and they carry out the appropriate rituals when death occurs(they of course have strong feeling on death) but it’s certainly not out of a place of genuine care or compassion when they die.
It’s caretaking, plain and simple, but they are fond of it more so cause their followers are a representation of their growth as a god rather than a pledge of loyalty to them.
