Plight of the Oracle took a whole evening of brain storming, it started with me wanting to use "covenant" to describe the Nite Treaty and it breaking. So I had The Night Covenant and then i've always loved the word plight so I came up with Plight of the Covenant. Covenant just didn't fit the vibe and then I ended up on Oracle for Gaelin. My husband is actually the one who got me to keep "plight of the" when he accidently called poto Plight of the Dragon. From then on I knew the series would keep that theme. Though I only have POTO and POTD named rn because I'm not sure how exactly the series is going to pan out right now and how many books i'll need lol
