Lads with Command Evol reader

pairings: LaDs men x reader (separate)
no use of y/n, reader is gender neutral
content warning: mind control, brief descriptions of sexual activity (Xavier, Sylus, Caleb) 🔞

Xavier 💫
He mostly likes your Evol
Because he can think of a million ways to utilise it for something kinky
But at the same time, he can become pretty pouty if you use it on him to stop him when he's either horny or jealous
You can coax him out of his little fit easily enough, but it doesn't make him any less prone to get pissed the next time you do it to him
Your Evol is meant to be used for good! Like edging him during sex! Not stopping him from beating up a child for saying they want to marry you when they grow up. That kid needs to learn a lesson, okay
Zayne ❄️
He doesn't really have a problem with it, but he's not necessarily fond of it
Simply because you have a tendency to abuse it to force him to take breaks
And although the breaks feel nice, he's too much of a workaholic to properly appreciate them
He does find it convenient though when you use it to make problematic patients sit still
Granted, he wouldn't actually make you do that for him at a hospital
But when trying to rescue an injured stray animal, he's grateful for your Evol's utility
Rafayel 🪸
He doesn't really care much about your Evol
But he's developed a habit where he'll use it as an excuse
"I only did it cause you made me with your Evol!"
"I literally didn't even activate it"
At some point you shift between using it and not using it on him just to fuck with him
You're not proud of abusing your Evol like that, but someone has to put this guy in his place from time to time, and that someone can only be you
Sylus 🥀
Oh he's into this shit
He finds the ability to be very versatile and loves crafting strategies around it
Seeing the creative ways you utilise it is a pleasure, he loves seeing you destroy your enemies with your power and wit
After your bedroom antics develop into more freaky territory, using your Evol during sex also becomes an option
Now, Sylus will do whatever you ask, Evol or not, but something about not being able to resist even if he wanted to gets him really hot and bothered
Helplessness isn't something he's accustomed to, but the vulnerability of it during intimacy is pretty addictive
Caleb 🍎
He has a bit of mixed feelings about your Evol
On one hand, he likes how profficient you are with it and he thinks that kind of power is hot
On the other, it makes you far more slippery than he'd prefer
His Gravity Evol is very convenient, but that means fuckall if you just order him to let you go with your Command Evol
He can deal with you firing back at him when he tries to tease you, but you resisting him when he's just trying to protect you is incredibly frustrating
He does become much more amicable to the idea of your power after you use it to edge him and order him around during sex though
To be fair, it wasn't your intention to do so, it kinda slipped out when you told him not to cum yet and it went completely downhill from there
Caleb kinda wishes your Evol would work only during sex but oh well

freezing the moment • kinich x gn!reader

“It never snows in Natlan. Does that mean nobody will experience love here?”
It started with a silly sentence you read in a silly book. One’s first love is the person with whom one experiences the year’s first snow, it said.
It was indeed stupid. Your question, and the statement itself.
Yet, when Kinich thought about his mom and dad— he found himself thinking that it might be true after all.
It was either right or what he longed for wasn’t love. Because the situation at home clearly was not what he desired.
Noticing how the usually quiet boy remained silent, you sighed. Was he bored? Okay, you can try to change the subject a little bit.
“I’ve never heard anyone have a Cryo vision either. Does that mean since we are in the nation of war, there is no place for love…? Ah, Snezhnaya must be a wonderful place. That's probably why it snows a lot there, right, since it's the land of love? I am so jealous.”
That finally made him speak, to your delight. If he hadn't, it might have flustered you— though since it was Kinich, you wouldn't have minded too much.
Or maybe you would have. He was so good in your eyes that you wouldn’t want to be an embarrassment next to him.
“A rumor says that someone named Granny Citlali from Night Wind’s has a Cryo vision.”
Ah, okay! A new topic, one that he chose to talk about too. You can work with that.
“Do you think she would make it snow if we asked? For fun?”
Seeing your excited eyes and hearing the curiosity in your voice, he paused just for a second before shaking his head.
“They say that she is super scary as well.”
Boo!
“I’ll make her like me then, trust!”
His gaze lingered on you longer than it should. Though you were so busy talking about a character in your book that came off scary, just like the said elderly, but was a huge softie instead— you didn’t notice how his eyes softened.
He trusted you, without any doubts.
Because before you met him, he too had been perceived as intimidating and scary.
So yes, you could definitely make her like you.
Just like you had with him.

As you both grew older, you realized that you had been too carefree back then.
Because now that he was a saurian hunter— no, on top of that; now that he bore the name ‘Malipo’ you didn't see him around much.
Nothing changed between the two of you, of course. But the environment itself changed, unfortunately. And that made a huge difference. Because now your time with him was ten times more precious, maybe a hundred, which means that even every millisecond you spent together should be cherished.
Now, today, it was by pure luck that you guys ran into each other while doing commissions today. It was a rare sight, not that you minded, of course. You truly missed him over the past few days.
Although it was work, you were minding your business, and you knew Kinich was also doing the same. Fitting. The one who wasn’t minding their own business was Ajaw, apparently. Very fitting, indeed.
“Ugh, how long is this going to take? Might I remind you that I have places to be!”
Well, here we go again.
“Oh yeah, what places?”
Kinich's tone made you crack a smile, it was endearing seeing him like this. Since you two never bickered, their odd dynamic always was full of surprises.
While Ajaw was talking about his fans and Kinich reminding him that they are nonexistent, you simply enjoyed the moment.
And it was good while it lasted, you must say— until a hidden domain you stumbled upon ruined the moment.

The wind wasn’t like the warm breeze at the top of the mountains during the sunset; it was cold.
Natlan was never cold. Never.
As soon as Kinich noticed the change of the air, the jacket that had been loosely wrapped around his waist suddenly found its place on your shoulders. His expression was indifferent.
You, on the other hand, were caught off guard. Flinching slightly at the sudden weight, the warmth quickly crept up to your cheeks. To your displeasure, Ajaw noticed this, he mumbled a quiet ‘disgusting’ and vomited some rainbows. (Spoiler: You might want to deal with him once and for all today.)
Kinich wasn’t known for his words; his actions always spoke louder.
It was his silent way of showing he cared, you noted. He really didn’t change, after all.
While you two walked through the domain, the chilly demeanor of the domain grew even cooler. Well, if you want to look at it from the bright side, the distance between you and the saurian hunter nearly vanished. His arm brushed against yours from time to time. Though both of you were cold, his skin felt warm— weirdly warm.
When you noticed how his nose was a little bit reddish too, you decided to joke about it a bit. He looked cute, you wouldn’t see the famous Malipo like this often. Why waste the chance to play around a little?
Well, the universe had different plans, just as you were going to comment about it; you slipped. Slipped? Yeah, dragging Kinich into the fall too. You were playing around, alright.
His hand was at the back of your head, protecting it from the harsh impact it could have gotten. And on top of that— no, let’s rephrase this. On top of you, there was Kinich.
Wow. Way to go.
Embarrassed, you were so ready to apologize but the sudden coldness you felt on your cheek made you stop.
The saurian hunter’s shoulders stiffened, his hair, one that is highlighted with orange and green, was now painted white.
It was snowing.
It was snowing, each snowflake delicate and fleeting— just like the moments you two had and still continued to have.
It felt like the time had stopped— in such a way that the snow froze it, just for the two of you. Just as if giving you the chance to treasure it.
His eyes, which looked like the sunrise in the forest, were locked on you. His breath was caught up on his throat, it seemed (since the usual puff of mist didn’t escape from him). And it did make you more nervous.
Your back was getting cold despite his jacket, and also a little bit wet too. Now you realize what you two were walking on was a frozen lake. Can’t blame you for falling, really.
The whole domain was cold as ice, the pounding on your chest made it impossible to feel it.
It was warm. Being near Kinich was warm. The memories you two shared were warm. His gaze was warm. He was warm, and he was also making you feel warm.
The feelings you harbored for Kinich, were warm.
It seems like it wasn’t a silly book nor a silly quote after all.
And when his eyes dropped to your lips for a millisecond(one that should be cherished), a sneeze interrupted you two from a distance.
“Achoo.”
Oh, Ajaw.

"I should have listened to you." I admit to War as I down another glass of sweet tea that Famine had poured for me. I smile in thanks to the elderly looking entity as she adds another stack of tamales to my plate. I had already eaten three plate fulls, but her cooking was so good it always left me hungry for more. Every time I saw her, it was like looking at someone's grandma.
"I told you so," war replied with a gruff scoff as he rolled his eyes. "I told you not to listen to my older brother. But does anyone ever listen to me? NoOoOo! I'm just war, the muscle head jock that only knows how to fight." He growls in frustration as he slams a fist on the table, causing the drinks and chip dip to wobble and the audible cruch of chips being crushed.
"Hey, hey! Watch the snacks meathead!" Famines voice rasps as she quickly moves the dip to safety. "That's was pur last bag of chips! Keep this up, and you won't be getting any desert after dinner, young Sprite!"
"It's always the last bag of chips," war retorted. "Just go to the pantry and get more.... and quit with the old lady act. We are all the same age!" Famine grumbles as she gets up, stomping off to the kitchen. War turns his eyes back onto me, the fire in them narrowing. "And don't think I didn't notice you putting the moves on my big sister, angle." He warned as he reached for his belt and slapped something on the table. It was hard to look at as its form kept changing. The only thing certain about it was it was a weapon of war. From guns to spears to swards to even a miniture helicopter, the weapon kept shifting. I think at one point I saw a mushroom cloud.
Quickly shaking the sunspots out of my vission i find my voice. "I assure you war, I was being sincere when I said Death had great cheekbones. And her smile is very calming and kind."
"Really now, lil' bro? Threatening our guests before the game even begins?" Came a jovial voice from the doorway. Walking in came a man that was near identical to War, except for one key difference. Whereas war was dressed in a tight fitting green shirt that showed off his muscles and camo pants, this guy was wearing the world's ugliest Hawaiian shirt and boardshorts. He ruffled wars hair with a smile. "You need to relax, man. Otherwise, you'll have the cramps when it finally comes time to ride. Besides, dont the mortals have a say: all is fair in love and war?"
"Stop touching me Conquest!" War whined, slapping his hand away as conquest sits next to him. "And your not love dumbass!"
"Are you sure about that?" Conquest teased. "Don't done people call it conquering the heart? I'm just saying, I think I would do a better job then cupid." Conquest says will giving the biggest shit eating grin to me. The grin was unsettling, being all teeth and no warmth. "Or of course you could always do a different kind of conquering in the bed ro-"
Conquest was interrupted by a slipper hitting him in the head. "While I am all for satiatings ones cravings, could you ot be so crass when talking about potential love lifes that may include our sister? Besides, you're freaking out the angle." Famine said, carrying out more chips and other asortsments of food, noticeably missing a slipper on one of her feet. "Now hurry up and help me set the table. Death said she would be late because of working late. So eat up and them we can head out and meet her at that nee club Odin just opend." As we set the table Famine leans over and wispers, "Oh and angel? Maybe this time, you should let Loki be your wing man. She is much more sensible then my himbo of a brother."
So far you have had a date with Destiny, flirted with Death, and danced with the Devil. You're going to have a serious chat with your wingman next time you go clubbing.
#writting prompt#four horsemen of the apocalypse#famine#war#conquest#readers viewpoint#idk i just liked the image of famine being a grandma that is worried her “grandkids” are not getting enough to eat

Aaron and Nicky
Okay so I vaguely discussed this on my previous post about Aaron and hatred, but I needed to say more on the topic bc it kinda just recently popped up in my head again and it's just...ugh so good.
When Aaron moved to SC, he was 13, and Nicky was like 17ish. So, depending on what year he was in, he would have been either in his junior or senior year of high school. Assuming he was in his senior year, Aaron would have only had around, let's say... around 7-8 months with him assuming they moved during the summer.
Aaron would probably have talked to Nicky a few times a year before this. Maybe once every month or two when Luther talked to Tilda, but not really anything special. They probably saw each other a few times for holidays when Luther would pay for their plane tickets. You know the classic long-distance cousins. You don't talk much, but you still know things about each other.
Then, once Aaron moved to SC after finding out about Andrew, he would have been reeling from that discovery, alone, and in a new city he'd probably only been in once or twice before. And even then, he'd probably only been to nickys house, church, and back again. So he would have clung to whatever familiarity he could find.
Him and Nicky would hang out or talk on the phone when Tilda was too high to care, and Aaron used him as an excuse to get out of the house and away from her heavy hands and the crushing silence that echoed in the new house that was already falling apart. He would have picked up on the type of language older kids used, even kids his own age really, would have tried to fit in by using it, and at the time homophobic or vaguely offensive language would have been the norm. Aaron himself may not have used them against Nicky specifically, but Nicky would have heard Aaron using things like "fag" or "gay" as an insult.
Whether Aaron knew Nicky was gay is up for debate, but it's probably likely he knew that Nicky had "strayed from the path of god" or so Luther would have put it. He'd probably heard about the conversion camp in passing, though he likely didn't know what it really was. I think it was mentioned too that Nicky tried to act straight after his experience at conversion camp somewhere in the EC, so Aaron was probably under the impression that Nicky was "cured" like Luther and Maria were.
But long story short, during those 7-8 months, nicky was Aaron's closest friend. I doubt Aaron was very social, so even after school started, he probably didn't make friends that easily, so he hung out with nicky most days, and they did their homework together or whatever. Very sibling like. I think Nicky was the one to convince Aaron to reach out to Andrew against Tilda wishes, and probably the one to comfort him when he recieved a big fuck you back. He was the closest thing Aaron had to real family.
He probably noticed nicky wasn't as happy as he liked to seem, but he was a kid and the most he could do about it was spend lots of time with him and try and get him to genuinely smile now and then.
And then there was the Germany trip.
Aaron wasn't happy Nicky was going on the trip, and Nicky was probably a bit guilty for leaving Aaron behind, but Aaron wouldn't have stopped him from going when Nicky so clearly wanted to. He thought it'd be 5 months or so, and then he'd be back. Just 5 months of crushing loneliness, and he'd have his cousin back.
I think Aaron started using properly for the first time while Nicky was gone on that exchange trip. He'd used a few times here and there before, but not regularly. And certainly not enough to crave them. But with nicky gone, he didn't have any other way to escape. He told himself he'd stop when Nicky came back, except Nicky didn't come back. Not really. He was back for maybe 2 weeks total to officially graduate and pack up his things, and then he was back to Germany because he'd found some perfect gay lovestory there. So he kept using.
I think Aaron resented Nicky leaving him for a long time. He left him alone to suffer his mother and their crazy family by himself. He may not actively realize it, but it also makes him resent nickys sexuality a bit too because if Nicky wasn't gay this wouldn't have happened, and he'd never have left him.
Then three years has come and gone, and andrew is there, Aaron's no longer alone, but Tilda dead. And then Nicky comes back to take care of them. Fights for them. Makes sure they stay with him. And he's nothing like the Nicky Aaron remembers. Well, he kind of is, but not really. He's more flamboyant and bubbly and waaay to talkative and sexual and Aaron isn't sure what to do about it. The first few times were an accident, tired and hurt, and going through withdrawal as he screamed insults at the locked bathroom door. He heard nickys voice and begged him to let him out and then insulted him when he didn't.
But he also notices afterward how they make nickys smile turn a little bit tight. And then the insults become a test. A way to push even more to see if Nicky would break. If he would hit and scream like Tilda or glare and use the stick like Luther. But he didn't. Not even a little bit. Not even once. And slowly, Aaron forgets that that's what the words were supposed to be. He just uses them casually, the insults at the tip of his tongue whenever nicky does something he can comment on. It just becomes normal. And he sees the way nicky brushes them off, but not really. He can see through the mask. But he just can't stop.
It takes years of practice and therapy and more than a few seriously uncomfortable conversations for Aaron to properly get his tongue under control. But he tries. And trying is enough for nicky when it comes to them. After all, nicky had dealt with Andrew, too, who was arguably worse in some ways.
Nicky and Aaron's relationship is infinitely complicated in so many ways. They went from distant family to friends, to strangers, guardians, and children, to finally being just cousins. It takes a long time and probably isn't until after both of them have graduated and Nicky is back in Germany, but they get there in the end, and that's the important part.

(Credit to creamka_ on ig for the art love them)

Yandere platonic rivalry hcs between Naruto and Sasuke for their female team mate ^_^ please love to hear your thoughts
Ah... So you're technically in Sakura's role for this. Sure!
Yandere! Platonic! Naruto vs Yandere! Platonic! Sasuke
Pairing: Platonic - Rivalry -> Sharing (In Ending 3)
Possible Trigger Warnings: Female Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Overprotective behavior, Jealousy, Blood, Violence, Kidnapping, Isolation, Stalking, Murder, Forced companionship(s).

These two have always been rather similar to each other.
Unfortunately they can never seem to agree on something.
They've been rivals since they were put on Team 7.
When it comes to how you fit in the story... I can think of two ideas.
You're either in Team 7 alongside Sakura...
Or you take her role in this concept.
Either way... Their rivalry would start childish.
You knew the two when you were all young and on Team 7.
Naruto has always been loud and a lot to handle... while Sasuke has been quieter yet more brooding.
The two both have had lonely childhoods and do need companionship.
Naruto admits he wants people to like him.
Sasuke doesn't, more focused on being an avenger than anything...
Yet he finds himself enjoying your companionship.
Naruto has always been competitive.
He acts in such a way to try and impress you, to show you how capable he is.
Sasuke isn't interested in these challenges at first.
Sasuke just cares about getting stronger, not fighting Naruto to impress some girl.
That is until after a training session you complimented him... while he tried to ignore how it made him feel...
He found it pleasing to hear from you... and hated it when you gave that same praise to Naruto.
Their rivalry is originally based on power.
They both want to get stronger to achieve their goals.
Yet it progresses into getting the attention of their dear friend and teammate.
They aren't romantically interested... Sakura ends up dealing with more of that.
It's more like they both like impressing you and want you to pick a favorite.
It's petty and childish before the second half of the show.
Just two kids trying to impress a friend they've both grown fond of.
Naruto is the one who's more obvious with it.
He pushes himself to show you techniques he learned and practically goes feral if you're injured in a mission.
Sasuke is more laid back.
He likes your attention and hates Naruto trying to take it, but he doesn't go out of his way to impress you.
He has other things to worry about than impressing girls.
Despite that he still keeps an eye on you and protects you, often scolding Naruto if he didn't protect you.
Again, all childish competition between two rivals who happen to enjoy the same person.
It's when Sasuke leaves Konoha and becomes pretty much a threat to everyone that the rivalry shifts.
It's no longer about impressing you.
The two are much older now with very different ideals.
Naruto is still mostly the same as he was... but Sasuke is a threat.
You rarely see Sasuke, mostly being around Naruto to help him with his own goals.
Naruto is obsessed with getting Sasuke back... yet at the same time feels a bit proud that you stayed with him as his friend.
However... Sasuke never gave up on you.
Sasuke is indeed obsessed with power and gave up camaraderie for it.
Yet there's times Sasuke manages to find you during his missions, looking all happy that you stayed with Naruto...
That you stayed with Konoha...
Sasuke feels envious and part of him doesn't like the idea of Naruto winning.
There's many times you and Sasuke meet.
It's not that surprising to assume he's following you.
Even in his search for power and vengeance... Sasuke only cares for a select few people.
You're on the top of his list.
Whenever he corners you on missions, it's never just to check in.
Sasuke keeps testing your strength... but at the same time he just wants to see you.
Naruto eventually breaks up the fighting to try and convince Sasuke to come back home.
Yet Sasuke lashes out, claiming Naruto is a fool to continue that goal...
Sasuke is also pissed he can never convince you to come with him.
Sasuke hates to admit it, but he misses the times he had with you in Team 7.
While he doesn't miss Sakura fawning over him... He misses how you'd help him train and support him without trying to get anything out of it.
Then he's reminded of the fact you did the same thing with Naruto...
He hates that.
It isn't long until this rivalry becomes a game of tug-o-war.
Sasuke eventually realizes to keep you to himself... to get you on his side... he'll need to kidnap you.
Naruto no doubt catches onto this quickly and rarely leaves your side, determined to not lose you too.
This rivalry can be deadly considering how the show goes on.
Both of these characters are powerhouses.
Sasuke is definitely going to aim to kill Naruto, even if he struggles to bring himself to do it.
Sasuke needs you to come with him... He needs you by his side.
You're his friend, aren't you?
Sure, Sasuke's pushed you away...
But he'll show you he's stronger than Naruto.
Naruto, on the other hand, is growing progressively more worried about his friends.
He knows Sasuke is upset that you didn't want to leave Konoha.
Naruto tries to keep you away, knowing Sasuke could easily hurt you if you fight him.
Naruto doesn't want to hurt Sasuke too much...
Yet Naruto also cares about you.
He cares about you more than anything at times.
If it ever comes to it and he can't get Sasuke to join him...
He might have to kill him....
Sasuke comes to try and take you with him, claiming Konoha isn't good enough for you.
Sasuke is willing to pry you from Naruto's arms, even if it means killing him.
Neither party wants to kill the other, but...
A decision needs to be made.
Naruto refuses to have Sasuke kidnap you.
He's tried... multiple times.
Naruto doubts Sasuke cares for your safety.
He just cares for nostalgia... or even just wants to own you.
There was always going to be a final confrontation between the two.
It's just in this case... you're also their goal.
It's very likely one of them will die, leaving the world in its own form of chaos.
If Naruto dies, Sasuke gets to steal you away, probably then demolishing the village or taking over.
If Sasuke dies, you'll be safe but Naruto would have failed his other friend...
The best outcome would be the one similar to canon, where they don't kill one another and probably even learn to share the friend they adore so much.
There aren't many good outcomes in this rivalry.
If one of them wins you'll probably be isolated... even if they shared, would you have freedom?
Naruto already barely leaves your side... and Sasuke has been adamant on bending you to his will to stay by him.
You try to calculate the best outcome...
Yet as their final confrontation goes on... and you witness their fight grow more bloody as time passes...
You can't tell what outcome would be the best for you.
These aren't really your friends anymore, are they?
They're selfish beings now, willing to do anything to get what they want.
You can only hope that by the end of the bloodshed... you'll have both of your friends in the end...
Yet as it goes on it gets harder and hard to tell.
Ending 1 - Naruto
This is one of the outcomes of this rivalry.
You and Naruto have been companions since Sasuke left Konoha.
Naruto didn't want to harm Sasuke too badly.
Let alone kill him.
Yet Sasuke made his choice clear.
He was going to find a way to get rid of Naruto then take you.
Naruto, unable to cope with the thought of you being hurt... snaps.
Naruto, due to the beast inside him, tends to give into his rage.
When he sees Sasuke run over to you and grab you...
He finds himself seeing red.
Suddenly, it doesn't matter what happens...
All that matters is you're safe.
Naruto wakes up with blood covering his clothes and you cradled in his arms.
According to others he defeated Sasuke.
He... killed him, actually.
Naruto is meant to be a hero... Hokage, even.
Yet he can't believe he did that.
His rival, his friend... Gone.
By his hands.
The news disturbs him greatly.
Yet when he sees you in his arms... safe in Konoha and under his protection...
He finds himself slightly soothed.
Sasuke was going to hurt you.
Naruto was just... protecting you.
Since then you're locked to Naruto's side.
He wants you as a companion, an assistant, just near him.
He hates talking about Sasuke, telling you and others not to bring him up at times.
He knows he was doing the right thing to protect you.
Yet now he worries about how easy it is to lose you...
He worries he'll hurt you too.
Despite this, Naruto doesn't allow you to leave Konoha.
He's won the battle... and the war... Now it's his job to keep his dearest friend safe.
He may even ask Sakura to help, the girl already finding issues with Naruto's thinking.
In theory, this should be a happy ending...
Yet it doesn't feel like one... Not with Naruto filled with grief...
Not with you still without freedom.
Ending 2 - Sasuke
Another outcome is Sasuke winning the battle and rivalry.
Sasuke originally didn't want to kill Naruto.
He tried to play nice, to bargain with his old friend.
If he just handed you over... Sasuke could limit the damage done.
Yet Naruto is stubborn as ever... protecting you like you're some weak girl.
Sasuke knows you're strong.
That's why he's been hunting you.
If Naruto won't give you over... Sasuke accepts that...
Then gets to work.
It takes time due to the beast that resides in Naruto.
Yet eventually Sasuke emerges victorious, not reacting to the blood on his clothes.
It... was going to happen eventually, wasn't it?
The two were going to fight and kill one another....
After the battle Sasuke snatches you, taking note of your struggling.
You try to fight him, to take advantage of Sasuke's weakened state...
Yet Sasuke manages to get you under control, telling you he's doing what's best for you.
Your talent was wasted at Naruto's side... He plans to train you.
Sasuke thinks this is where you belong... beside him.
After this it would not surprise me if you witnessed Sasuke destroy Konoha, telling you this is for the best.
After all, they're all liars.
It's either that or he tries to make himself Hokage, keeping you by his side to see that plan through.
You can fight him... but again, you'll only tire yourself out.
Sasuke won't hurt... yet he'll hurt others around you.
He plans to isolate you, envious others got to have you for so long.
He's much worse than Naruto.
There's times he experiences grief... yet he's quiet about it.
He's done it, he's won, he has you all to himself now.
He's happy about that... He just wishes Naruto would have listened to him.
You're locked away in a room for just Sasuke to see, he's tired of sharing.
This is yet another bad outcome...
One that not only locks you away... but makes you watch the death of those you care for... just so you can 'understand' Sasuke better.
Ending 3 - Sharing
This is the best outcome... yet still bad for you.
In this ending the outcome resembles canon.
Naruto and Sasuke come to a draw and stop fighting.
The two decide to both share you.
There's no point in fighting over their friend... They both want the same thing for you.
They want to protect you, they want your attention, and they want to help make you stronger.
When their injuries are treated and they're cleaned of blood... The two vow to look after you.
Naruto looks after you as Hokage and Sasuke watches over you from the shadows.
This is a more tame ending, one that's overall happier.
The two both care for you as they're best friends.
Naruto even gives you a job in Konoha, preferably one where he and Sasuke can watch you.
Sasuke often checks in, apologizing and telling you he's maturing.
Naruto likes to hang out with both of you along with Sakura.
Yet there's always that subtle sense of... isolation....
The two still control who you talk to and want your attention exclusively on them.
Konoha is your home... You belong to them.
If you ever want to leave, one of them will stop you.
Ninjas are known to be stealthy.
You're always being watched by someone.
Now that the rivalry has ended... The two are on the same page.
Neither of them die...
Yet your freedom is still restricted like the previous outcomes... and now you just have two problems...
Was this really an improvement?

What do u think of Otto Mentalis
im not sure what prompts to ask me this but i appreciate it
i generally like Otto. i'm not crazy about him but i like him way more than most of the other Adult Characters that PN2 added.
I feel like he fits right in to the Psychonauts cast. At least the adult one. He's interesting(enough) and the right amount of cynical. I find his dialogue with raz kind of amusing. he is also fun to draw.
I could say i'm disappointed with how little they did with him and how we didn't even go in his mind? but thats a popular take i feel. And it doesn't really matter. i suppose.
I kind of wish there was more fan content with him. Though I cant speak for it because i dont really do anything with him either. I have a thing or two 'planned' for him i guess. but they're just joke comics. haha.
Any analysis beyond "he could've been sasha's mentor lol" is out of my general interest. and even then i only care for that 'theory' or whatever at a very surface level.
he Can be interesting and he Can be funny but heavy emphasis on Can and how it isn't Is. and that potential isnt something i'm actively verbatim. i think he should have fans though! whats the point if i wish for people to also not care.
ok sorry i wrote a bit i didnt know exactly what you wanted but what do You guys think of Mr Mentallis?? XDD
#my art#psychonauts#otto mentallis#i actually drew this just for this ask#hey i like your art funnyname i remember you because i remember looking at your account once

Sorry to piggy back posts but I think this is geneuinely gonna be so fucking interesting because knowing about Shaunahat means that Shauna had to EXPLICITLY choose to conform herself into her relationship with Jeff after being presented a very direct opportunity to recognize her queerness (and probably also had to very explicitly confront her crush on Jackie).
And the implications of Why Shauna chooses to end up with Jeff despite this direct reckoning with being queer is so heartbreaking like.... its pretty obvious she punished herself by living in the corpse of a life Jackie wouldn't have even wanted, but Also HOW could Shauna possibly come to terms with being in love with Jackie? How is she supposed to accept that so much of what she was angry at Jackie about could have been reconciled by knowing that about herself sooner? Shauna can't accept she isn't prison gay for the same reason she couldn't accept the fact that Jackie loved her too. Because it means things COULD have been better. It means that her and Jackie's relationship could have been (and frankly, was), completely different from what Shauna believed it to be. Which means that maybe, in another world, Jackie is still around.
And for Shauna, this being the world where Jackie Has died, there is no Point in accepting this about herself? Sure, she could be queer, but she'll never have figured it out soon enough to be happy. Never have figured it out soon enough for that fact to matter To her. Accepting she's queer at this point is almost selfish? And fits into how stuck Shauna is emotionally in the idea that it's wrong to move on when Jackie can't anymore. She doesn't have a right to be queer, in the same way she didn't have the right to go to Brown. (Obviously, this is a continuation of her need to keep her relationship to Jackie Alive via continuing to use her as an excuse to not live for herself. Shauna continues to warp her idea of what Jackie would have wanted into what Shauna thinks she Deserves.)
Her decision to marry Jeff is both a means of protecting herself from the idea that her and Jackie could have survived together, but also a means of protecting herself from the world where she has to LIVE without her.
i do think adult shauna has been telling herself that she was just prison gay and that she’s gonna have to confront that maybe thats not true this season

I desire to see more of Hyun-ju in your style, please (and tell me more about your oc's as well, I like people's oc's)
hyun-ju the most beautiful girl ever (⸝⸝⸝• ω •⸝⸝⸝) ♡ i love her sm!!! thank u for giving me an excuse to draw her haha
as for my squid game ocs, i'll put my ramble under the cut as i have quite a bit to say lol
so! my ocs :3 as i previously mentioned before, they are a father and daughter pair! (i also finally came up with names for them, adhika is the daughter and dakila is the father)
much like geum-ja and yong-sik, i think that they both joined the games separately and only knew abt each other when they arrived. their family is def struggling, with adhika's father in debt and having a hard time finding work while her mother takes care of her younger siblings. adhika just turned 18 a few months ago, and has been working odd jobs here and there in attempts to support her family and pay off their debt, but the money is just a drop in the bucket.
adhika feels a very strong sense of responsibility towards her family, and wants to help out. she even refused to leave to go to university, despite being very smart and having a bright future in academics, to help out her family. but also sometimes, she also feels...burdened? it's a very conflicting feeling. she loves her family, but she'd be lying if she said didn't feel a twinge of resentment at this situation. i hope that makes sense lol
i haven't yet decided if my ocs are gonna just be fun little canon inserts or if im giving them their own story. both options seem rlly fun to me so kjssdkfjh im having a tough time deciding
some fun little tidbits about dakila and adhika's way of going about the games:
adhika is locked the fuck in. she's already at a disadvantage being a young, 5 foot tall, non-korean girl, so she's working twice or thrice as hard to get thru this shit
as i said before, adhika is very smart. she has good people-reading skills, and the ability to kinda morph into whatever people need her to be, or fit into whatever dynamic she believes people want her to fit (a skill that she picked up from just. life experience as the oldest sibling in a struggling family LMAO)
dakila is trying to look out for his daughter, but the games put a strain on their relationship
adhika has lowkey manipulative tendencies. they come out and worsen during the games. honestly, just think of her as a nasty mix of sang-woo and mi-nyeo. absolutely FOUL things coming from this girl i love her
this isnt really important at all nor does it really come up within her story but i still want to mention adhika is a lesbian. she joins the doomed squid game lesbian roster with sae-byeok ji-yeong and young-mi LMAO
akjfhdskjhf sorry this is so jumbled i just have a lot of thoughts. i'm still ironing out dakila and his personality so unfortunately i dont have as much on him as i do with adhika. but i hope that this information is interesting enough for now!! thank you SO much for giving me the chance to ramble abt my silly guys

Lissa as Soren's Shadow Self
Intro
So sometime after S5 I talked about how most of the main cast had a 'shadow self' walking around—another character within the narrative that represents a bad end or dangerous/alternative path they could walk. Callum has Viren, for example, but also Finnegrin (both men are trapped in 5x08, both seek dark magic to free themselves from their perceived captors, albeit for different reasons, etc). Ezran was going to have Harrow's anger and the Orphan Queen; Rayla has Runaan's bow/duty as an assassin, and Kim'Dael, etc.
Someone who has already had a tragedy of some kind befall them versus their present day counterpart who will be twisted into repeating their choices while also, occasionally or ultimately, making better ones.
At the time, it felt like neither Soren nor Terry really had one. Claudia could suffice for both of them, to an extent; Claudia was very much repeating the cycle of use and dark magic and violence of "Viren to Claudia" to "Claudia to Terry and Sir Sparklepuff," with Terry fitting into the spot of who Claudia had been in the past: goofy, loving, non-corrupted. This is, admittedly, made more textual in S7, with Terry able to see the map whereas Claudia no longer can, contrasted parallels of the bird in 2x09 being not the first time Claudia uses someone (that'd be Callum in 2x02/2x03) but the first time she uses someone to get dark magic ingredients and earns her first white streak... vs the birds in 7x04 being what makes Terry realize he is being used, and one of the big things (symbolically) that represents and reinforces his decision to leave.
Soren also had parallels to his sister as a foil—both Viren's children, both manipulated by him, but Soren left whereas Claudia stayed—and to his father, as of arc 2. Both had their physical situations fixed without their input (Claudia healing Soren's paralysis and resurrecting Viren), leaving Claudia confused and frustrated when the situations emotionally changed them. Just as Soren had realized he was on the wrong side in arc 1, Viren was steadily learning that too, although it hadn't quite come to fruition yet.
Terry too, likewise, has very strong textual parallels to Lissa thanks to season 7. Like Lissa, he is used by his partner ("young Terrestrius has what we need" / "I needed her tears. Something so simple and easy") and leaves. In many ways, his dialogue with Claudia directly clarifies / invites insight onto Lissa's feelings ("Because you didn't trust me to make my own choice" -> "she shook her head. She said no"). Claudia most notably even frames their rationale the same way.
I think she had to leave for herself, to be happy somehow. (2x09) But he had to leave. For himself. (7x04)
Within the narrative and Soren's own family dynamic, however, Lissa being Soren's shadow self I think is still the primary usage of the device for each of them, even over Terry and Lissa.
And here's why.
The Semi Obvious
There's the obvious parallels, of course. Soren and Lissa are both blond; they both leave the family, and leave the family specifically with mind to the fact they no longer feel safe.
SOREN: I don't want to do this. (3x07)
This is different as to why Terry leaves. While all three leave to preserve a sense of identity, this motivation is only stated outright for Terry by himself ("[and if I stay] I'm not sure I can really be me anymore / but I love myself the way I am"). For Lissa it's implied, thanks to her parallel to Terry, and for Soren it's symbolic: leave, lest Viren change/turn him into a 'literal monster'. Terry too resists the idea of changing for the worst, but Lissa and Soren frame Viren (their shared 'changer,' whereas Terry has Claudia and Aaravos) in far more critical terms. Whereas Terry believes even after leaving that Claudia can be saved (is still 'good'), Lissa and Soren do not think the same.
SOREN: You've seen what's going on. You saw what Dad turned Kasef into [a monster]. What Dad turned into. (3x07) VIREN: She saw my face and she trembled. She said, "You've become a monster." [after the assault] And I knew she was right. (6x06) SOREN: That's a villain. My dad is a villain. [...] The only way to stop this is to look evil in the face and say no more. (3x08)
This turn from Viren, of course, causes all three to do the same thing: leave, even if that means leaving Claudia, but more on that in a second. First, I want to make a pit stop at what I call
Narrative Weight
Being alive and feeling things are two of the most complex things that can exist, with human existence being just a shit ton to conceptualize even just as individuals, nevermind when it comes to other people or strangers. Therefore, all stories have an aspect of condensation—condensing concepts or feelings into things we can conceptualize and understand within a fictional narrative in order to make it relatable or communicative. We go for personal details and personal relationships.
An example in TDP could be how while Janai and Amaya face a political clash of human-elf cultures in season 4, Rayla and Callum face an interpersonal one. Obviously there are going to be broader cultural differences than just mourning rites, but it's grounded in something familiar and often sacred; likewise, Callum and Rayla figuring out where they fall after that clash split apart their relationship takes centre stage in season four. Both of these couples are made up of individuals, but their relationships symbolize things—a fresh start for the Sunfire elves, the reconciliation of elves and humans and the continent.
Narrative weight.
And Soren carries Lissa's.
This is largely due to how closely interwoven the two become as we get the backstory in season 6. Lissa was violated by Viren in order to save Soren; after she left the family, Viren blamed Soren for it. In many ways, he likely felt like he'd traded her for his son, and found the balance lacking. And when tasked with Viren being presented with treating another family member as spell parts, even now with that family member's consent, he refuses.
Soren and his request/willingness provides Viren the chance to take the weight he placed on Soren over Lissa and her leaving off Soren's shoulders, narratively and symbolically. However, the two are linked not just through Viren, but also through Claudia.
First, a side note:
Inversion
The other big interesting psychological underpinning, I think, is that as of season 7 there's no way that Soren has finished processing his feelings about Viren, or Viren's apology/amends... yet he clearly believes now that his father did change and that they were effective, because illusion!Lissa repeats more than a few of them verbatim.
The choice to have illusion!Lissa's apology mirror Viren's is interesting to say the least, and a look into Soren's psyche at least partially. It shows that while some things from Viren did resonate enough for Soren to think they'd be effective with Claudia, and also possibly things Soren thinks his mother would never say otherwise.
Part of this is because, as stated, Lissa and Soren are inversions of each other. The inversion of one offering consent but being refused vs not offering and being violated. There are also smaller parallels, such as Viren routinely going after Soren's intelligence versus the one descriptor he has of his wife.
SOREN: Dad is so smart, so I figured there must be a good reason. (2x07) SOREN: Wait, I know I'm not the smartest, but I know what you said. (3x03)
Inverted parallels of staying and leaving. Of Soren being angry at his mother (and Terry) for doing—in some ways—exactly what he did to Claudia. Making her choose, and leaving her when she won't.
With that in mind, let's round back to Claudia, and how she links Soren and Lissa to one another.
Claudia
Season seven in some ways hammers home both Lissa as a representative for saving her children's relationship, and why it fell apart in the first place. Let's talk about the second facet first.
For example, one of the crucial things that Soren learned and internalized from Lissa is that Claudia doesn't make her choices.
CLAUDIA: And Soren chose Dad. How could I choose? How could I do that? Then my mom looked at my dad and she told me to stay.
This is why Soren has to wrestle with new aspects of his dynamic with Claudia in season 7 in such a difficult way. In prior seasons, he and Viren could both blame Viren for Claudia's actions and choices, and did so.
SOREN: Dad is dead, Claudia. You don't have to do what he wants anymore. (4x07) VIREN: I know I have set my sweet, brilliant daughter down the wrong path. I have led you by the hand and I have led you by my example. (6x01) VIREN: I have watched Claudia walk down such a dark path, Soren. And I set her on it. I am to blame. (6x05) SOREN: Put down the staff, Claudia. Dad's staff. (7x06)
This is why after Claudia asserts her own agency and choices ("Okay. Follow me" / "No, [the staff] is mine now") that Soren doubles down on his previous sentiments: "If you won't stop, then I will stop you" (4x07) to "we have to stop her" (7x08). It's taken a long time, but he's unlearned the idea his mother passed down, and can see Claudia is culpable and responsible for her choices — even if that strips away the defenses he still had up in regards to being unwilling to hurt her.
However, Lissa still represents / carries the narrative hope of the siblings reconciling for two clear reasons. One is the shot below, which is about as on the nose as you could possibly get.
The other is because of the contrast the broyals provide in 7x09 that also harkens back to 2x09 directly:
CALLUM: I said I hated you, and would hate you forever. And Mom said it was okay to be angry, but that I couldn't let the bad feelings stick. Because we were going to need each other. Because we're brothers. I still need you, Ezran.
CLAUDIA: And [Mom] told me to stay. She said that I had to stay with Soren, that this was my home, and that my brother and I needed each other.
Lissa is also an important tenet for Soren, because in order to confront and deal with his lingering anger towards her for abandoning them, he has to also come to terms with his own feelings and recognize Claudia's about him abandoning her. Once they work through that, they can work their way back to other from the brink, because their mother was right. They need each other, and they always will.
Because Lissa is Soren's shadow self, and in some ways, Soren is his mother and sister's light.

no worries, I very much agree with you in all your points, I just kind of seperated tos and snw in my mind. Idk if it's because I "care less" about canon, because I do, but snw is so different in so many ways that I just ignored the idea of it being canon and focused on it as its completely different thing, and I think that's why I'm able to enjoy and love it so much (and I really do, it's one of my favourites, especially because of the format of mostly self-contained episodes. Of course there are things I don't like, like spock/chapel - which I at least found fun in some aspects but generally didn't like the idea of - and especially the kirk/la'an storyline - don't get me started on that because I hated it)
but yeah, I very much see your point, because if snw is canon for the tos timeline (and apart from me deciding for myself that it isn't it officially is so I get this is kind of a me thing here) then chapel's characterization (and spock's for that matter) and many many well established facts don't make sense
all I can say is I initially regarded it as pre-tos canon because I feel like at first they also paid more attention to having it fit in, but pretty soon (with episodes like Spock Amok being E5) I just kind of seperated it in my mind, and episodes that went so clearly against canon kinda helped with it because even though I disliked some of it it also made me go "okay, this has to be a different thing" and look at them differently, which made them much more enjoyable than I would have thought at first
I also feel like with later episodes (like subspace rhapsody, which I absolutely adore) they kind of tried to diverge from canon themselves, and I wouldn't be very surprised if they'd reveal it's actually a different timeline later on (maybe just wishful thinking on my part, but I do feel like at first they just experimented with "different take on the same timeline" and shifted towards "this is a completely different thing")
anyway, now my response is also long haha, and idk if any of what I just typed made sense but those are just my thoughts. I do acknowledge that it doesn't matter much if I view snw as canon or not because officially it still is, but I just wanted to clarify how it is in my mind and why I do enjoy snw a lot despite agreeing with your points!
star trek used to be about gays in space
now they just make Spock kiss women
#i think i’d be a lot more likely to like it if it was an established alternate timeline#<<prev tag#I guess I just made it an established alternate timeline in my head haha#I also agree it would be really cool to have it be a prequel that actually fleshes out the characters more and still works with tos canon#but I like most of what they did with most the characters#i think chapel spock and kirk are the three that lead to the most upset because they are so different#but i do see the potential of their characters if you view them seperate from tos#sorry now I'm rambling on hahah#but honestly I really wouldn't be surprised if they would confirm snw as an alternate timeline in s3#it would make so much sense to me#especially with some of the hints the dropped in the last episodes of s2#maybe it's just me thinking too much about this but it feels like the writers realised they really went off-canon#and that some fans didn't enjoy that#which is VERY valid#so I think they just went “okay let's amp it up to justify later saying this is a different timeline”#again might just be me hoping/thinking this but it feels like there was a shift in intentions#anyway#I hope my thoughts make sense haha#star trek

If you could make any changes to House MD what would they be?
that is suuuuch a broad question and encompasses so much, so i'm just going to give my stock reply: i would keep cameron on the show.
i truly think writing her off was one of the show's biggest errors, and i think the show even realized it: masters and adams are both remixes of cameron, and even thirteen is a take on the same archetype (bonds with patients, cares about the moral/ethical problems and tends to over-emphasize with patients). actually, thirteen takes on a lot of cameron's role of the show: her relationship with house isn't romantically coded as cameron's was, but fulfills the same "i see you and our connection is different and special" niche cameron did to house. clearly the show thought cameron was important - she had far more focus and screentime than chase after s4, and more dedicated episodes and subplots in s5 than, like, actual members of the team. we know how deeply important cameron is to the show and the show's dna: she is a major part of the series finale despite it having been three years since she was on it. she is the final shot of the ending montage, smiling as she looks back on house and the original team.
the show also did a lot of work to position her as a future cuddy, as a clear parallel/successor to her: from s1 we hear that cameron's real strengths lie in administration and organization, in s4 she's on the hospital budget committee, in s5 she runs community outreach programs and literally gets a subplot about being dean of medicine for a week. had she not been written off, and had cuddy still gone, cameron absolutely would have been dean of medicine in s8. had cuddy not left, cameron probably would have been shown still taking up the role, maybe stepping in in some sort of unofficial second in command role during s7, dealing with house while he and cuddy were dating for example. i would have loved to see this, by the way. cameron has a pretty strong character arc and a very interestingly evolving relationship to house -- from naive idealism to treating him as and being treated by him as a peer -- and i think the arc of "underling to boss" makes a lot more sense from her and for her than it did foreman.
the official reason they wrote her off really does seem to be "we didn't know what to do with the character anymore." respectfully, i call bullshit: there was so much you could have done with cameron post s5, and it could have also opened up some fascinating other storylines. like, just imagine the chaos of still married cameron and chase, with chase back on house's team and cameron drifting further and further towards hospital administration. imagine a s8 with dean cameron and chase having to figure out how to deal with his boss house and his boss's boss, his wife. imagine the same chaos with them divorced. i'd love to see cameron struggling to define herself as herself, and learn to be in charge: this is a storyline we saw hinted at in s2, we know she wants to supervise and be a leader, but while we get to see foreman and sort of chase (in s8) struggle with it, we never get to see her: the two cases she brings to house in s5, she defers to him totally. she does a good job playing house in big baby, but doesn't ever step up and lead. i would have loved to see her management style. her leadership style. i would have loved to see her with masters and park (two young doctors who don't fit in and who i bet cameron would love mentoring). i would have loved her weird little friendship with wilson explored in the back half of s8, to hear the advice she gives him on his diagnosis. cameron was written off just as she was really coming into her own as a person and going in some incredible directions, and i will hate forever that we were robbed of seeing her go.
#malpractice posting#allison cameron#and before you ask: yes i am also 99% sure that in this au where cameron stays on the show she does become dean#and foreman instead gets the arc shoved at chase where he finally learns to be a good leader and takes over diagnostics#because that was literally foreshadowed since season 1#sorry chase i love chase md but it was never your fate#have fun surfing or something instead

Thoughts about the painting + season 5 byler
I've been thinking a lot about the painting reveal scene in stranger things 5 and I have many thoughts about how it could go. I don't think this will happen, but I am worried that the painting reveal will be the crux of the byler arc in season 5; like their whole storyline and eventual getting together is going to center around the painting. I do NOT want that. Even though I love the painting I think it would be kind of lame if they make it too much of the focus for another season. So here are my ideas for how the painting reveal could go down without it being too central.
1.The painting is never mentioned again
Starting off strong with something that is not very probable BUT I do think could definitely happen. I can see how maybe the painting served it's purpose in season 4 already so they don't need to bring it up again because they are going to go in a different direction with making byler canon. Like the painting really set the stage to show Will's feelings and now they are going to leave it behind because the focus will be more on Mike's perspective. Just to be clear I do not think this is the right choice, but I have to keep in mind that these are the people that forgot about Will's birthday. Even though this is different, it just means there is a chance they don't take things as seriously as we think they do.
2."What painting?"
I would love to see Mike find out from El that she didn't commission the painting and then stew on it and maybe lash out a little bit before he finally confronts Will about it. I think this is likely to happen, HOWEVER this would maybe make the painting into too much of a thing and take away from establishing Mike and Will's relationship. I know the painting is a big thing, but it's also not. As much as I wouldn't hate to see one last byler argument ending in a confession, I really hope we left that back in season 4. And I feel like this type of painting reveal could lead to that. So while this is a great idea I really hope they do it differently.
3.Mike already knows
Now we're getting to what I really want to happen!! I think it would make the most sense if Mike knew right away that El didn't commission the painting and that Will was talking about his own feelings. Mike may be extremely emotionally repressed, but he's also really smart. I think because so much of his story centers around his relationships, it's easy to think that he's a lot more oblivious about things than he actually is because his feeling confuse him. But I do think he is smart enough to have put together that El didn't commission the painting because she told Mike that she thought Will was making it for a girl (among other evidence).
So I think that Mike already knows, but what does this mean for the painting reveal scene?
I picture an offhand comment about Mike being the heart or something like that at the beginning of the season just to bring back the idea that the painting still exists and maybe show that Will is a little guilty for lying about it... and then AFTER they have already gotten together Will confesses that the painting was from him and Mike tells him he already knows.
Maybe this is just my perspective, but the whole series has been leading up to this relationship between Mike and Will where they really care about each other and are soft with each other. There have been some bumps in the road, but overall this is what we've seen throughout every season. And I think that even though Mike has been a little bit confrontational with Will in the past (thinking mostly about the rink-o-mania fight) after their MANY heart to hearts in season 4 he's not going to want to risk hurting Will when he's not sure of his own feelings. I really do think Mike already knowing fits with his character and with what we have seen/will see with byler overall.
Anyway this is way more than my two cents but I'm excited for whatever way the painting reveal will (or wont) happen!
#byler#stranger things#will byers#mike wheeler#stranger things 5#st4#st5#stranger things 4#i want to make a longer post about why mike knows#bc my boy is so smart i just feel like he has to!!!

Flattery will get you anywhere😂
I started of intending to have Lee be darker, but really along the way, they flowed so nice together that I realized that even if he's a selfish man, he intends to be a good husband and I believe he softened when they started interacting.
Oh my god yes! I really picture her living in her own world dancing around the reality😭 I love what you said here! And he watches her so much now, building up over the years, no one else seems to notice this, they just judge. But he sees that vulnerability and the qualities she does have.
I think I wanted to make him even older but he's probably about 9 years older? He wasn't seeing her like a possible match right away because she was a teenager. He just felt some sympathy for her and noticed that she was actually well behaved and sweet. And then after a few years started to see her differently. He was early twenties when he helped her. Not as bitter and shady as he is when our story starts. He's just the kind sheriff that treats her nicer than the others. Also he's not pretending to be nicer, she brings that out in him. He just thinks people are too mean to her.
Now after, now she's in her 20's he's acting very nice...👀 Now he wants to pursue her😂 before their interactions were short and spontaneous. Now he's searching her out.
I definitely tried to make it seem that while she's desperately trying to go along with people, they are rejecting her for how she is. She can't help it, but they are sure to let her know she simply doesn't fit in.
And I love reactions like this because as someone often feeling like I was also not really fitting in, that I was different, it's so nice to hear that people read this and get it! 💕
She reads mostly romance, she's still very sheltered, so the smut is really vague and non-descriptive 🤭
But Lee in that library🥴 he probably never set foot in it before 😂 he's really trying to get in her spaces.
Okay so to answer your question, he's helped her when she was about 16 and then kept an eye out for her because he knows she's struggling and people are being mean. They ran into each other off course because it's a close community, but it's all fleeting and shallow meetings? So she did grow up with him but he was not constantly involved and he definitely didn't see her this way until a few years after. It started with him thinking she's just a good girl and then that she would make a good partner and then it changed in that she would make a good partner for him. And as soon as that thought sneaked in, that's when he really started looking at her differently. And he then was basically waiting for the right time to pursue her.
The chairs... Wel i noticed I can get really upset about changes that make no sense sometimes so I just changed certain examples but I can relate to that feeling. That chair was something she was used to, safe and now what was taken from her and she couldn't even really express her feelings because she knows they're "not normal" so whenever she struggles and tries to hide, well it doesn't really work. And those women are so brutal. I love everyone had the same reaction to these mean girls. It's so so relatable.
I just want to say that she feels bad for her parents but get parents do nothing but love and accept her, don't worry. But Lee is the first person to truly be nice and compliment her outside her parents😭😭
I really loved how he was trying to hint at her being the one to cure his loneliness and it flew right over her head. She's so sweet, but Lee needs to be very clear with her. I love those awkward moments where he's left unsuccessful lol.
Anyway you got me ranting as well! Because I love this story so much. And I really loved your enthusiasm, so thank you so much for reading and reblogging and the excitement because it means so much!💕

He was watching you again. Inside his car, on his lunch break, slurping from his milkshake as his eyes never left your form. Your head was turned down, watching the pavement as you moved, yet you seemed to be aware where everyone else was because you never bumped into anyone. He noticed that about you. How your body moved almost fluently away from others. You didn't like to be touched. You flinched if someone did.
You were alone a lot. Listening to the noises around you, or he would sometimes hear you murmur to yourself. Sometimes you made strange noises if you were excited. He knew what they said about you.
They thought you were weird.
He didn't mind. Everyone talked about him too. Granted, he was a bit shady sometimes, with his secret businesses here and there, but it was something he had in common with you. Both of you fell outside of what was appropriate.
Of course, he was the sheriff, so no one dared to say it to his face. But they did to you. He had watched you for years. With your pretty hair, and that body…
He shuffled in his seat uncomfortably. You always had an effect on him.
He loved your eyes, although you barely look up to him. You do that. You glanced past people, or talked with your face turned a different way. Some people looked at you funny when you did.
But he knows why. Your parents told him once. When you got dared into doing something naughty. You didn't like it, but told him you had said you would do it before they told you what you were supposed to do. And you needed to keep your promises.
He talked to you sternly about how wrong it was of you, and you sat there with tears in your eyes. Head down. Like you had committed the worst crime. You were a good girl. Your parents told him that. It wasn't your fault. It was those kids. They thought it was funny. School talked to them. They left you alone. But you didn't make many friends.
Too different, too quiet, or too loud. You didn't say the right things, you didn't like the right things. You were too honest.
He liked that about you. He didn't need to wonder what you thought. You weren't two faced like all the other bitches. Who smiled at him in hope for favors, or in hope he would turn his eyes away from what they were doing. You were, you.
When you were alone, or thought you were anyway, your shoulders relaxed and he could sometimes see you smiling. Most times you would if you spotted an animal. Talking to it, like it was your friend. And you were good with kids. Really good. They flocked to you and you easily handled them. You didn't like sudden noises, and you were very clear about that, and they listened to you.
That's something people did like about you, they had no problem ditching their kids on you. You were a natural.
It was one of the things he noticed first about you. That drew him towards you. Your natural motherly instincts. He knew you would do excellent with your own. And the idea of you, one or 2 kids by the hand, belly swollen with another, made him rock hard each time.
God, you would be so pretty. He imagined your children; babies with brown hair, maybe a cleft in their chin, like his. The family Bodecker. You, all soft and sweet smelling. A ring on your finger. It made him come so swiftly once he touched himself.
He was happy no one snatched you up. They all couldn't look past your different behavior and see the gem underneath. They were blind to your qualities. What fools. But it worked in his favor though. Such a good, sweet girl. All ripe for the picking.
You were growing and seemed to not be aware of him. That was okay, he was fine with letting you have this time for yourself. Just out of college, young women needed to find their own way. He didn't want you to feel like you missed out on everything once he married you. That led some housewives to turn a little crazy, he saw it all the time, married at 18 or even 16 at times, high school lovers, and by the time baby number 2 was on the way, they looked worn out and disappointed in life.
Not you though. You finished school, you had a nice job, good parents. He gave you that time. He never was far away though. Watching you. Making sure you stayed out of trouble. Or trouble didn't find you. There weren't many boys to approach you, but those with eyes did, those who were too eager to be bothered with your quirkiness. He made sure to scare them off. He didn't need the competition.
He had a good job, a job that gave him power over this town, a nice house. He could afford a family. When the time came, he could convince your parents he was a good match. But most important was he needed to convince you.
📖
You walked into the library to return your books and pick up new ones. You came here at least once a week, often twice, as you loved reading. It was the time that you could disappear in a story and live a life you were never going to get. Experiencing all the emotions and adventures safely from your own home. Romance, and travels, fighting dragons or being a ruling Queen. In real life you liked things simple, but in your head you were free to do whatever you wanted. In your head people liked you. You belonged.
Lately you got very into fairytales again. Consuming every book you could find, rereading classics, daydreaming about the magic that was both wonderful and scary. The Alpha King, and Omega and the false mate, Sleeping Beta…they were all lovely stories and you couldn't get enough. You walked through the rows upon rows of books, feeling calm and like you were amongst friends. Here you were safe. Here you were liked.
Your hands occasionally picked up a book and read the cover, lost in thought. You didn't even notice the presence next to you, until a voice shook you out of your thoughts.
“Excuse me.”
You froze and looked up. Sheriff Bodecker looked down at you.
“Oh”, you said, stepping away.
He chuckled and shook his head. “I didn't mean for you to leave. I just wanted to grab this book.”
You watched him as he picked up a faded green book. He flipped through the pages. You hadn't expected him to read. You scolded yourself after the thought. You didn't know him. It's just that…he didn't seem the type. You heard stories about him. They said he liked the booze and he loved the ladies who gave it away for free. He had always been pleasant if you ever saw him, devoted to his work, but gossip still followed him.
Gossip was tricky, though. For years rumors went around that you were stupid. That you were rude. That you were mentally challenged. They didn't understand you. And you honestly often didn't understand them. Luckily your parents loved you and stood up for you. They might not always understand but they didn't punish you the way other parents would have. They didn't make you feel bad for not always looking them in the face. Or for being blunt and too honest. How your head was in the clouds at times. Or how people overwhelmed you sometimes. But other people, they didn't get it. And they didn't like what they didn't get.
You watched everyone around you making friends and falling in love. Easily getting through events you struggled with. They got married, and started a family. It was difficult at times, to realize you wouldn't have that, but eventually you accepted it. You were comfortable with your life. You had your family, and one or two acquaintances, and you were okay. It was nice being alone. Quiet. When you were alone, no one expected something of you.
You watched out of the corner of your eye how he assessed the book, before he looked at you again. “Do you know if it's any good?”
You glanced at the title like you had to think about it. “It's a little boring. But I don't know what you're looking for.”
“Just a little something to entertain me in the evenings. I was never much of a reader, but I thought why not read a book once in a while instead of always putting the telly on, ya know?”
You nodded. “What genre are you interested in? Action? Or mystery.”
“Romance.”
You blinked. “Romance,” you quietly repeated. You're eyes gliding past the titles of books and thinking to yourself.
“I don't mind it being a little…naughty, might motivate me even more to be honest,” he chuckled.
Your cheeks heated, but you tried not to show any signs of your discomfort. A heated romance. Of course you could list a few, but it felt awkward sharing that with him. You hummed softly under your breath, more out of nerves than anything, but you grabbed a book eventually. “A little naughty, and definitely romance,” you told him.
He hummed and turned the book in his hands. “Thank you, I didn't know where to start.”
“The librarians are happy to help if you can't find anything.”
“Yes, I'm sure they are, but you seem like you know more about this stuff.”
Maybe you did. Maybe it was easier to approach a visitor than the strict ladies running this place? You continued your search, but he did not leave.
“Don't you have enough books?”
You frowned. How could anyone have enough books? And why was he criticizing you? “I like reading.”
He laughed. “ No, I can see that, but do you really read all these in a week?”
“No. Sometimes I read them in a few days.”
“Oh, really. Okay. That's impressive. I really need to catch up if I were to compete with you.”
“It's not a competition. You can read how you want.”
“Oh I know, I was just joking.”
It wasn't a very good joke in that case. “Oh.” You thought, then replied. “Do you need anything more?”
There was silence, then he answered awkwardly. “No, you helped enough.”
You nodded.
He said your name quietly and when he didn't continue, you looked to the side at him. Your eyes locked and you blinked before you looked away.
“Tell your parents hello from me, will you?”
You nodded. You would, if you remembered.
He walked away and you were left feeling a little weird about the whole conversation. Sheriff Bodecker, reading a romantic book. It seemed a little silly. But maybe he was a little lonely. He was unmarried and didn't seem to be in a hurry to get settled.
He asked for something a little naughty, though. If he wanted anything naughty he should've gone to a different section of the library. They had a few of those, although most people didn't dare to pick them up and give the ladies anything to gossip about. Sheriff Bodecker, with a naughty book. You smiled to yourself. It would be the talk of town.
🤎
You wrapped your scarf around your neck, it was a little chilly today. Maybe you were just tired. It had been a long day at work today, your hands were cramped from all the typing, and your colleagues had left you feeling a little upset. Normally you tried to not listen to their chatter and ignore if they were ever negative about you. But today…they had stood a little nearer and you had more trouble filtering their voices.
They had talked about Marcie, who had found herself a beau. If only it had stayed about Marcie, it would have been fine. But they had looked over at you and pretended to lower their voices.
“Spinster”, they had used. They giggled slightly during it. You pretended not to see them staring at you. Or how they didn't care if you heard it.
“She’s never going to find anyone, I mean did you hear her talk about the different office chairs to mr. Johnson? One would think she had to sit on spikes.
You bit your lip. You did not want to cry in front of them. They had changed the chairs two days ago, the old ones too worn out to be pleasant. But you had liked them. You were used to them. And it felt like an old friend had been ripped away from you. So you had talked to your boss if he could make an exception, if you could keep yours, and store the new one. But of course he hadn’t wanted to. And you admittedly got a little upset. Word got out, or maybe they heard you. You had cried on the toilet, but tried very hard to gather yourself and continue like nothing was wrong. It didn’t matter. They knew. And they thought you were crazy.
And now they kept bringing other things up in their conversations. Like they enjoyed your discomfort.
You did your job well, however, so you were pretty sure if you laid low for a while, mr. Johnson wouldn’t fire you. You always made sure to finish all your work, even if you had to stay longer. Got the job done.
But now, at the end of the work day, you felt exhausted. It was tiresome keeping up pretense. The constant noise of the workplace around you. A short break to try and relax and be alone wasn't enough. You knew maybe things would be easier if you sat with them and told them things you heard, so they could gossip about someone else for once. But you didn’t like them. And they were too much. You needed your break to rest before getting back to work. You often sat outside on a bench alone, or took a walk.
You took a deep breath. Tonight you were going to read your new book, and ask your daddy if he wanted to play the piano. He didn’t do it as often as he used to, but you always enjoyed his music. He would do it for you, you knew it.
As a single Omega, you still lived with your parents. It was common to do so. You couldn’t live alone with your designation and it didn’t seem like you would ever move out and get your own home to look after. Your parents were disappointed, no doubt, but they always assured you they loved you, and that it would be nice in their old day to spend it with the three of you. You wondered if they had a different child than you, if they had wanted to get another. Someone easier to handle.
You walked past the shops, occasionally looking through the windows. You liked window shopping. Seeing all the new things on display, even if you didn’t buy much. You didn’t need it. But sometimes you saw something pretty and pondered if you should get it. You should buy a new dress. Most of the ones you had were getting a little old. But they were so comfortable and new dresses felt a little tight and rough. Perhaps your mother would buy some fabric and sew one for you. She knew your tastes.
A car honked next to you and you startled. When you looked around with a beating heart you noticed the car of the sheriff. He had rolled down his window and called out to you.
“Sorry, little lady, didn’t mean to scare you. I saw you walking and thought maybe you wanted a ride home?”
You blinked. A ride with the sheriff. You had never done that. “I’m fine walking.” You replied and tried to smile.
“You just look tired, is all. And it is going to rain soon.”
Was it? You didn’t feel much like getting wet. Still, this was weird. Different. What were you even going to say to him?
He opened the door from the inside though, clearly expecting you to get in, and you didn’t want to be rude. He meant well.
You clambered in, fixed your dress and your hair.
“Long day?” he mentioned. “You look tired.”
“Yes.” you answered.
“I get that, I’ve been busy since 5 this morning myself.” he sighed. “Got a call in for a robbery. Those damn Callen boys always stealin’ them chickens from the Bookers farm. Not exactly the most exciting job.”
You blinked, thought of how to reply. “Did you get them back?”
He chuckled. “Well some of ‘em. They ate at least two, but I arranged for them to work a few weeks at the place to pay them back. And I'll make damn sure they're going to show up and do the work.”
You nodded. The Bookers were cheapskates, but a theft was a theft, and you were sure they enjoyed the free labor. Those chickens couldn't be worth that much.
“You look nice today,” he mentioned suddenly.
You looked down at your dress. A little frayed around the edges. Your hair must've been less than proper because you tended to play with it if you were in thought. Maybe he was being nice. “Eh, thank you,” you mumbled.
He hummed. “That dress is a nice color.”
“Blue is my favorite,” you blurted out. You wore red today, you didn’t know why you said it.
He chuckled. “Is that right? Well I love blue.”
Your eyes looked anywhere but him, at the passing buildings and bushes. What else were you going to say? It was polite to talk back, your mother had told you. Ask about something!
“Ehm, this is a nice car,”
He turned to look at you again, not keeping his eyes on the road and you swallowed. “Well, it comes with the job, but it does its work.”
You nodded.
“Do you know how to drive?”
“Oh no. No, no. I do not.”
“I could teach you.” he offered, and your heart rate increased.
“No!...no. I don't think I can, I get nervous.”
“Well everyone gets nervous the first time, but you’ll learn soon enough, you’re a clever girl.”
You blinked at him. No one had ever called you clever before. You weren’t stupid, you werent, but no one thought you were particularly bright. “I get nervous.” you told him firmly.
He hummed “Well alright, If you change your mind, I'm more than willing.
“I don't mind walking.” you told him.
“Yeah, I see you walking around. You like looking at things don’t you?”
You looked down, ashamed, but his finger lifted your chin. You startled at the contact.
“Wasn't mocking you. I just see you sometimes. Gotta keep an eye on the crowd to make sure nothing happens, part of the job, I can’t help it. So I see you walking and befriending the neighbors cats.”
“Oh.” You didn't know what to think of this. Being watched. You always felt like you were. “I like cats.”
“I like them too. They’re a little feisty. You got one at home?”
You shook your head. “No, my parents don’t want one.”
“I was thinking about getting one. Might be nice to come home to something, you know? House is all empty.”
You understood. You’re parents rules, however, nothing you could do about it.
He sighed “ Yeah…. gets real lonely for a man by himself. You got someone waiting on ya?”
“Eh no. No, no one.” You felt nervous. You knew it was common for a girl your age to settle, or have settled already. It was embarrassing to admit. You had never even kissed before. The thought of it made you anxious though, How to even do that with a tongue, and how to move? It seemed mighty complicated.
“Me neither,” he admitted. “It’s a hard job, and not everyone can deal with being the wife of a sheriff. I’d treat her right, though. Yessir. I’d be a good husband. For the right woman. I always wanted that. A house, a wife, some kids. A nice meal when I get home…”
You hummed, like he had done before.
"You can cook?”
Your eyes moved rapidly over the car interior. “Why, yes?” it came out as a question.
“Yeah I expected you to. You’re a good girl after all. Momma raised you right.”
You felt warmth shoot through you. You didn’t know why. He was being nice. And you weren’t used to that. You actually were a pretty good cook. And you liked doing it. Relieving your mother from the hard work running a household was. And showing you cared. You know you weren’t always good with that. Often absorbed in your own head and your own feelings. So cooking was something you could do.
“Would love to have a home made meal again. It’s been so very long.”
You nodded.
He eyed you. And as the silence lingered he tsked. “Well, who knows, maybe someone will invite me someday.”
“Oh. Yes. I'm sure,” you were quick to agree. It would be nice for him. Someone cooking. Maybe Miss Oleson would, the woman was all alone and about 70, she probably would love the company.
You would ask her, so he wouldn't feel embarrassed. Miss Oleson would watch you sometimes when you were younger, and she was kind to you. She always gave you candy even if your parents had told her not too. You were fond of her.
You arrived at your house soon and you got out. He leaned towards the window again.
“If you want, I can come pick you up again tomorrow.”
You blinked. Why? Was it going to rain again tomorrow?
“You don’t have to.”
“It’s my pleasure.” he grinned. “Unless i’m being called away, but if so, I’l call you.”
“I don’t have a phone.” You eyed the laces of your shoes.
He laughed. “No silly, at your office, I can call the company.”
“Oh. Yeah that would work. I guess.”
“That’s settled then. I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“Okay.” you mumbled and turned to walk towards the door.
As you heard him leave behind you, you suddenly remembered you hadn’t said goodbye, or thanked him. You felt your cheeks heat. You were supposed to thank someone for helping. You messed up again. Tomorrow, when he picked you up, you would make sure to thank him then. Maybe he wouldn’t think you rude anymore. And maybe you should find some questions to ask him about. So he didn’t ask you weird ones when there was silence.
You hung up your coat at the door, suddenly smelling a nice scent coming off it.
The fabric had absorbed some of his that lingered in the car. You sniffed carefully and then reared back in shame. It was kind of improper to just smell someone. You only did that to someone you knew better. Like family, or…or a suitor.
Still, the scent lingered in your nose as you walked away, and it was pleasant enough for you to feel a little lighter for the rest of the evening.

a criticism i have towards THO is that Amity could have been better. I think her backstory is not compelling and her relationship with her mother was less interesting than the one she has with her siblings (especialy since her mother is just Audrey Bourgeois from mlb but with magic). I think her being a bully makes her very dislikable considering the fact she didn't have to bully Willow and that her behaviout towards Luz is just bad and weird since she's the only one who's mean like that of we ignore Bosha and Skara (they didn't matter fr) and she realy doesn't get confronted about it. Her being good at everything makes her quite annoying too. She's able to fight Hunter who is a trained soldier or smth (not saying she can't be strong but that shows favouritism to me. Atleast the fight was entertaining) One thing that negates that a bit is her social ackwardness(i guess) when she misunderstands Luz at the lake wich shows relationships is the one thing she's not good at but actualy wants. But i still think she could have been better. I was just dispointed with her character when i first started the show. People promised me Catra done right and i got a school bully who goes soft because of "kawaii silly human"😭 also she was better with green hair.
I get this, I found her a little boring sometimes too, but our feelings towards characters do not determine their quality.
Now onto the actual arguments: "she didn't have to bully willow and that her behaviour to luz is just bad" no character has to do anything, if her arc didn't start out like this she'd be a different character with different themes.
"She doesn't get confronted about it" while she isn't confronted in a yelling angry way often, she is still confronted. In covention, she reveals her insecurities, helping us understand her motivations and reasoning, her veiws are then confronted by Luz, teaching amity others struggle in the same way she does, eventually accepting that she was wrong and undoing her mistake by undoing the everlasting oath and admitting that luz has the ability to succeed. In lost in language she confronts herself showing her reflectfullness, admitting she hasn't been the friendliest witch either and promising to work on herself and finally in understanding willow she is repeatedly told off by characters like eda and inner willow before (again) explaing her motivations and promising to do better, even then there are still consequences and she still has to work to fix her mistake inner willow calls her attempt "a start" showing us the consequences of her actions towards willow are still there, even after a sorry.
This is in my opinion is a strength, not a weakness, she reflects and chooses to get better, she isn't yelled at or handheld until she does what's right, furthermore it fits into the shows themes of restorative justice, reflecting and choosing to undo your mistakes. It's not focused on retribution or making anyone suffer for what they've done but instead to try and fix the mess made, apologising, undoing the oath, fixing willow's mindscape and making an effort to fix their relationship are all restorative justice.
She isn't "good at everything". in fact, she is the weakest out of her willow and gus. Willow and Gus are exceptionally skilled with multiple episodes focused on their talent while amity "fought her way to the top" she may have been top student but that's never shown as meaning anymore than pretty good for a secondary schooler. This is a show about taking down the government, and we are asked to suspend our disbelief. She needed to win for the plot, so she barely scraped a win. The protagonists needed titan blood, so they got some of the titan blood. In this show background, teenagers are taking down trained, powerful officials with ease.
Another thing mentioned is comparisons to other characters. If you go in thinking a character will be like another character and go a certain way, prepare to be disappointed by the odds of that not happening. For odalia being like that one other person is because she's rich, cruel, and not that deep. Odalia isn't praised for her depth. She isn't a particularly interesting villain because she is made to be a fun one which is subjective and therefore difficult to determine quality
Thank you for coming to me with this discussion, and thanks for your civility (especially after the incident) I hope you have a nice day!

In the spirit of @aceyanaheim's Tiny Kashi posting, I'd like to offer some more of my own Baby Itty Bitty Kashi headcannons;
-I think minato, in the dark quiet semi-subconcious part of his brain, realizes that Kakashi being so small is Probably Bad. but this is not something he can ever allow himself to actually process, because kakashi is strong and they are at war and the hokage needs him to be a voice of reason (he's 15). So his brain copes with the dissonance by taking ferocious care of the boy to try and make up to kakashi in a way neither of them will ever fully be able to process. they're so loving and adorable and twisted and YOUNG. and people wonder why minato's favoritism is so blatent.
-kakashi reluctantly dragging minato places with a glare because SO MANY people try to refuse service to this pointy kid.
-local six year old assassin had one too many back to back missions without any nap time and has a meltdown. 12 dead 6 injured 3 missing (dead, but not included in the mission perameters so Minato covered it up before Kakahsi could get in trouble or even really realize what he did <3)
-Kakashi looses his first tooth on a mission and Minato flies into a rage as he finishes the fight fast and brutal beause someone hit that toddler in the face and kakashi, who has never lost one of his bones before, is trying not to have a panic attack because he didn't know it could happen. and then the fight finishes and Minato takes a few breaths and blinks and is like 'OH. RIGHT. BABY TEETH. I FORGOT ABOUT THOSE.' and calms down. and kakashi gets pouty cause he thinks minato just called him a baby.
-kakashi having a life long If I Fits I Sits impulse cause like. his little legs get tired. and are too little to have him at eye level most of the time anyway. he would just sit on counters to fill out paper work (because he's a grown shinobi! he doesn't need his sensei holding his hand for everything!) when he was too short to do it standing up.
-@aceyanaheim mentioned it in their post too, but. Minato getting really good at just kind of. Being a human stepstool for kakashi. Like up to and including Kushina coming home to kakashi perched like a bird on Minato's outstretched arm to grab a cup while Minato is just. making dinner with the other hand. BUT ALSO.
-kakahsi talking several years to recognize as an adult that not everyone can be expected to comfortably handle him cause he spent YEARS getting manhandled like a wet cat and/or bag of grapes by all his superiors. The first time he jumps on Minato's shoulders to reach something on a high shelf and minato (just back from a long mission, missed a growth spurt, that kid is a head taller now) STUMBLES, they both like. stare at each other in confused horror
-Minato personally hand tailored Kakashi's chunin vest because they don't standard issue ones in 7 year old size. God only KNOWS what seals are hidden between the seams of that thing lmao
-there's an old konoha rumor about a jonnin that worked with Kakashi a few times when he was a kid and thought it would be funny to pretend to forget/get confused the names of his ninken, because he was 9 and very cute and pouty when he got mad. If anyone knows this man's name they dare not speak it, as he allegedly went missing shortly after insisting that Guruko's name was Gukuro and Kakashi gets frustrated enough to start crying over the overt disrespect to his companions
-(He was not killed, of course. Kakashi would never kill a comrade. the pups just held a bit of a grudge and withheld a bit of their attention in a following fight, and when his injuries landed him in the hospital Namikaze had a few encouraging words about pursuing alternate career options ^-^)

Lav... I'm legit crying from that angst prompt. God, can we all let Ronin be happy for 5 mins!?
(Lovely work BTW, ya did a great job with it, it's pulling at my heartstrings at the moment...)
Would it be alright to ask for a counter prompt for the angst? In where Ronin DOES save his darling from their injury and help take care of them? I'm a sucker for someone realizing their mistakes and trying to fix it so it doesn't happen again trope.
Thanks for reading! And once again, fantastic job.
🔍-anon. :)
Thank you so much 🔍 anon!! (You're too kind I swear-) I can't tell if you're joking about the crying thing 😭 But I'll count it for the writing goals!
You Didn't Leave Me
Warnings: Descriptions of beating someone to death with a crowbar, bit shorter than I wanted it to be, Angel mention!!

“Don’t . . . don’t you dare leave me, darlin’.” Ronin doubled down on his efforts, keeping the cloth pressed against the wound. Sounds of your labored breathing echoed throughout the alleyway, yet Ronin didn’t dare shush you. The noise kept him focused, helped him remember what was at stake.
Your life.
“Didn’t plan on it.” Gritting your teeth, you fought the urge to scream as Ronin attempted to stabilize you. He had long since called Angel, asking, no, begging that she come and help you both. He didn’t trust the police enough to handle finding your attacker and bringing them to justice, so instead, he called for Angel to come and help him hunt them down and give them the fate they deserved.
Frantic footsteps were heard as Angel arrived, a first aid kit in hand. “Ronin, (User)!” Crouching beside you, she nudged Ronin out of the way, cursing as she saw your wound. Ronin stumbled back, but nodded as he understood what to do next.
Revenge.
You were his Darling, his fallen angel that he was adamant on keeping. He couldn't lose you- not like he had with Ther.
Grabbing his crowbar, he gave you a crooked grin before disappearing into the night to deliver justice for you.
. . .
It wasn’t pretty.
The man hadn’t gotten far, his body not fit for this situation.
Had the old man even hid a body before?
Ronin doubted it.
“Hey, you.” The man turned, his eyes wide as he saw the red stain on Ronin’s shirt. Your blood, spreading and spreading until it covered him completely while he worked to save you. And now, it was the very thing etched into your attacker’s mind.
Falling backwards onto the cold alley floor, the man played his final card- desperation. Begging for Ronin to spare him, to let him go free. That he would pay for your hospital treatment, do anything to help you heal. And as much as Ronin wanted to bash his skull in, he obliged.
“Money. Now.” Grateful words tumbled from the man’s mouth as he grabbed his wallet, thrusting it before Ronin as if his life depended on it. And well . . . it did.
Shuffling through the money, Ronin grunted in response, shoving it in his pocket. He looked back at the man, a cruel smile spreading across his features. “You know . . . I think I’ve changed my mind.”
. . .
The screaming had stopped after the third hit.
His crowbar was splattered, ruined by the blood of such a rotten man.
But nonetheless, justice had been served, Even V could approve of how he dealt with the situation. No innocents were harmed, with only the blood of a guilty man staining him that night.
Checking his phone, Ronin found Angel calling him. He answered, pressing the device against his ear.
“They okay?”
“Yeah. We’re at my house now if you want to come by.”
Ronin laughed, amused that she would suggest that he didn’t want to visit you. “Yeah, yeah, I’m comin’. Gotta apologize to my darlin’ for putting her there.”
“Is the great Ronin Beaufort going to apologize for once?”
Hearing the amusement and feigned disbelief in Angel’s tone, he decided to play along.
“I suppose I will.”
