Okay so I need help really quickly-
I need to pick a new name for Wanderer and here are some contenders.
Aizen – this a cool Japanese boy name meaning ‘love, good’, ‘indigo’ or ‘dyed’
Arai – is a Japanese male name meaning ‘love, thunder’
Arashi – this beautiful boy name means ‘storm’, ‘new heart’ , ‘new samurai’ or ‘ to be affectionate’
Samayoeru Kokoro- It means "wandering heart" (I searched this up using Google translate and had to fight my brother about the fact that Kokoro can be used as a boys name)
Aoki -After the Japanese word for “blue tree.”
Fujin - Means wind, god, spirit
Im kinda voting for Arashi and Kokoro but what do ya'll think? I'm also open to suggestions (possibly with meaning, like beloved or something. Because I am a fucking simp for this man)
#Ehh I'll just name her Galla and leave it#Me making an oc:#vs.#Me picking a name for wanderer: Okay so I need to pick a japanese name for him so that I can hint about inazuman origins-#But I also want his name to represent who he is or who he was#both if possible#*proceeds to do extensive research on japanese names*#I had to fight my brother#I won obviously#I didn't actually update my genshin impact yet so I can't even play yet#The prophesiers just told me we would get to name him#and I am prepared for that outcome#genshin impact#scaramouche#kunikuzushi#wanderer

So I realized I never really had an intro, so here goes! For the sake of my internet persona (?), please refer to me as silv. I'm bisexual, and my pronouns are she/her ! I'm 18. On that pretext, in terms of DNI, if you're a kink blog or just a genuine asshole, please just stay away. As my description mentions, I use whump as a coping mechanism for C-PTSD which I've been dealing w/ for quite a while now, so I will make it will clear that any time you feel this blog isn't it or makes you uncomfy, you can always leave. It is up to you to moderate your online experience. But otherwise, my ask box is always open to communication and I'm always willing to talk although I might take a while to reply :) Moving on, I've been into whump for quite a while, and didn't realize there was a concrete term for it until mid-late 2021 actually. And thus this blog. I have around 2-ish OC's who I primarily whump quite a bit, but I genuinely am too lazy and busy of a student to post whatever involves them, although I'm trying my best to provide more of OC content soon! The OC's you will see in the future are; Sihyeon Seo / Seijuro who already has a short excerpt of her own which you can check out here! Personally, most original whump content should include her as my primary whumpee Soleil Offset will have his own content, probably, too. UPDATE: Intro Post to upcoming whump series "Devices" As for my favorite tropes; my tier list is here! 1. no holds barred beatdown, when the whumpee can't even afford to fight back anymore 2. exhaustion 3. the stoic yet silent, damaged, too tired to care whumpee 4. PTSD bc yes i can relate 5. interrogation whump 6. emotional whump, till an extent 7. hospital/medical whump 8. unhealthy coping mechanisms ( which aren't to be romanticized ) 9. torture, to an extent 10. manhandling/beatings/bruises/whatever it comes with 11. solitary aftercare, whumpees recovering all by themselves 12. FEMALEWHUMPFEMALEWHUMPFEMALEWHUMP ...and i could go on, but we'll stop here. All of these are limited in scope for me because of triggers. And whump things I dislike; 1. Pet whump 2. NSFW [ extreme gore, r*pe, non-con, etc ] that's it, really. I occasionally will post/reblog off topic posts, but it shouldn't be a problem. I enjoy watching K-drama, anime, and the only two games I really play are Genshin Impact & Honkai Impact 3. My activity really varies depending on my schedule. I'm trying to roll out more content, but please don't take my word for it. Either way, if you have been here since the start of this blog & post and still are, thank you for being here!

Mihoyo getting reeeeaaaaallllllyyyy greedy aren't they?
I'm not going to stop playing the game since I like it too much. But I do understand why some are. When genshin impact was a relatively new game, they listened to the players, they also gave out more generous gifts too. But now that they're a bigger company and their game is really popular, they got greedy. That's how most games are unfortunately, they bite more off than they can chew.
The reviews are negative and it went down to 2.0 in ratings in the play store. Many uninstalled it too, and a lot of p2p players won't be spending any money on the game until they improve the content + listen to the fan base again.
The character stories for the women are always "uwu they're overworked. Let's get them to take a break uwu" 90% of the time now. Mona's was fun, and so was Klee's. Noelle hangout event and Barbara's was all about them being overworked. It was cute, sure, but it didn't really feel as engaging as the ones with the boys.
Diona's was cute though, I actually really liked it, especially when we went into the Hilichurl camp and it was refreshing to see a spunky female character after Mona's quest.
Jean's story quest was just her... Being overworked. While it did show us her character, how much she values Mondstat, it was a common theme that would pass onto different female characters from there on out. Ganyu especially, her idle animation is her falling asleep. Jean wants to stay awake forever just to get her job done. Noelle is working towards literally nothing because Jean does not plan on making her knight anytime soon, since she fears Noelle is not ready for the outside world yet.
Kokomi, while I haven't played her quest yet, I have seen it. She falls asleep and tries to keep herself awake. She tries her best to help but her character to me at least, is a bit... Boring.
It's just the common theme of "uwu overworked waifu uwu"
Don't get me wrong I do like these characters and I do like their personalities... Most of the time.
But the male characters, their personality is explored more. There's actual lore with them 90% of the time, more lore than with the female characters. There's really not a common theme with them unless I haven't noticed it yet.
The female characters who don't meet the "uwu overworked" themes that I can remember off the top of my head is Beidou, Keqing (probably) Ningguang (probably), Hu Tao, Klee, Qiqi, Yanfei and Eula.
Eula is a 50/50 for me in some ways, in terms of being overworked. Hu Tao is just unique when it comes to her job and seems to enjoy it. Klee is well, Klee. Qiqi... I'm not too sure. I mean it seems like she's content with where she is, while being used by Baizu(?) For his research.
And the rewards... I keep hearing the rewards haven't been officially announced yet for in-game. The rewards we have now is a log in event that comes with the moon chase event currently going on.
There's some who say that anniversary rewards are the web event but I don't really participate in those, so I can't say anything about that.
Now they don't even listen to their fan base. They ignore and block any proper criticism. My main complain with Mihoyo is how they treat their fan base. They ignore them now, and block them out.
The writing for the last arc was also a mess, rushed and everything. While I do think it's because they're trying to pump out new content soon, I would rather wait for a bit longer than just... Do Inazuma 0.2.
And I am a bit upset at how, suddenly, Ei is accepted by the traveler. Like???? Excuse me, she is the indirect reason Teppi died, she indirectly killed people. Maybe that wasn't her intention but her actions is what caused it.
I think they could have done better with her is all.
And Signora. Oh my god. They wasted her in my opinion. They also wasted Sara, but who knows, maybe in the new update they'll bring them back and do better with their characters.
But... Signora. I am really disappointed. She was a plot device and nothing more, her character was interesting and everything. But she was killed in the end.
I'm just saying. Mihoyo could have made a lot of money If they made her a playable character. I hope they bring her back in some type of way because she added a lot to the story. She was smart. But she was also a tragedy.
Both in how they used her and her back story.
And... My fucking god. I hated how Kokomi just... Accepted help from an unknown third party. Yes I understand she probably thought it was for the best and all, but at the very least try to figure out who the third party is?????? Don't blindly accept things like that.
And that's the end of my complaining. Sorry about the rant.
