Okie here's the thing I interpret the white Santa not as a sort of loss of innocence thing and more as a best case scenario sort of thing, like, some good old christmas righteous murder to save some kids since I don't imagine he's too bothered in that case because it's practically self-defense in his mind. If he's the black Santa on the other hand then it's one of the less favorable timelines where people that don't deserve it are gonna get pretty hurt, on that sense I keep imagining he's comparing the whole charade to a cruel prank that's gone too far since it'll be just as frivolous of an endeavor as one

And yah I think that last bit is just him going "welp I'm dying one way or the other as soon as we out this door so"
