ELLAIRE HAS HAD SUCH AN INSANE ARC NOBODY LOOK AT ME!!!

Her growth has been PHENOMENAL like I can’t fully articulate how impressed I am. Somewhat of a follow-up from my previous post, her journey has been SO GOOD!

In the beginning episodes of HOT, MC is very naive and reckless. She thinks she can save Trespia within like a week? It’s ridiculous. And the S1 finale goes to brutal lengths in helping her (and us) realize how preposterous her outlook has been so far. You cannot be queen without sacrifices. The crown is not a fancy jewel you just put on, it’s a responsibility. It bares the weight of an entire kingdom and you NEED to be strong enough to carry it.

And by god after the journey Ellaire has been on, she is more than strong enough. After being indirectly responsible for Wyatt’s lashing, after having watched people die, seeing (and almost experiencing!) slavery, getting violently assaulted and almost gotdamn raped, she’s been injured close to death, her friends have been injured close to death, she’s had to take a life, her friends were put through a fucking torture chamber apparently (idk that slideshow thing was a little unclear).

Basically, Ellaire and the group have been through the RINGER and it feels so earned and right to see how she’s grown from this impulsive, happy-go-lucky Princess to being a Queen worthy of crowning HERSELF! Holy shit I could cry I am so proud of her, what a wild fucking ride!!
