“I love you, I love you, I love you” He exclaimed at the top of his lungs to the girl that stood before him. “You don’t.” She persisted avoiding his eyes not wanting to believe it to be true. “What are you so afraid of” He shouted throwing his arms up into the air in frustration, there was a brief moment of silence before her voice was heard again, just barely, “everything. I’m afraid of falling a little to hard, you leaving and moving on and me not being able to get back up” She whispered tears brimming even at the thought of the event that unfortunately was inevitable. She could feel his stare on her as he took a moment to take in her previous statement … “I won’t let that happen, I promise” He spoke softer now taking her hand in his. But not long after that promise was broken and he was gone just as she expected.
