can we still find out the pirate’s name if we aren’t romancing him?
Of course! You can't call someone Pirate the entire time. Even he would get tired of it — although he probably wouldn't object to you calling him King. 😄
#But yeah you'll learn it if you've iniciated his romance/ get along well or have a little rivalry going#I'm already so tired of always using his title for all his patreon shorts and asks xD#I can't wait to get to the part where you properly meet the King of Pirate so I can finally use his name#When I could finally use Lance instead of Bard felt so good#The Pirate King#The Golden Rose

Heyy there :) I literally can't stop thinking about SKZ f!additional member AU and softie Seungmin who seems nonchalant like the unbothered king he is but caring just deeply about reader, for example looking out for her when practice gets tough, getting snacks during recording sessions and so oooon. Yeah, I'm weak for that. Maybe you are, too. Have fun during this fluffy week either way^-^<3
This trope is interesting, but I've never actually read a single fic based on it! I'm not sure if I would do it justice. I do have an idea, though, and it's in the same vein as this, and I can add in the things that you're weak for (because same). The problem is…I can’t do it in a single ~1k word oneshot 🥲
So thank you for the inspiration for a new possible longer story! Unless everyone absolutely hates it.
If you like it, I’ll be happy.

Day 5 of Seungmin's birthday oneshot countdown!
It's a few more weeks at the most, maybe longer, and after that...he'll probably never see you, or talk to you again. The planning stages of this was fun, he admits, and all eight of you sitting around the table talking to you on speakerphone; the excitement in everyone's eyes and voices was contagious. And of course Seungmin is excited...it's you. He's been a fan of yours for as long as he can remember, so having the opportunity to work alongside you, and maybe even sing with you? It’s a dream come true.
That's the problem.
He hasn't slept properly in a few days, and he's feeling very puffy and tired. There's only so much he can do now to prepare himself. He took a cold shower this morning, drank as much water as he could handle, but after that he couldn't stomach more than half of his iced coffee. It's still in his hand, numb from the almost melted ice, and dripping steadily on the floor. You're somewhere in this building right now, and you could walk in with the others at any moment.
Time to turn off. Turn off or make a complete ass of himself.
/ / /
You feel a little awkward as you walk toward the meeting room...recording studio? You actually have no clue where you're going, but you're flanked by two much taller men you don't know, and in front of you is Chan, who was a little red in the face when he was talking to you and asking you to call him Chris. So you do.
"Chris?"
He turns and smiles at you, and it's so...something you can't and refuse to deal with right now, you think. No. It's cute, and it's shy. The photos you've seen of him before today really did nothing for him, even the good ones. But you're a professional, and you are very good at acting professional when needed. Even when sweet, attractive men are involved.
"Yeah, all good?"
"Good, yeah! Where are we headed? Should I be mentally preparing to meet everyone?"
"Yes, definitely start preparing right now"
One more right turn and something about the door up ahead feels like the one. Meeting suite 1411. That's the one. Chris opens the door and moves aside to let you in first, and the room is empty, or appears to be. Security fell back and took up guard at the end of the hallway (unnecessary and embarrassing, you told Chris when they appeared).
"Oh, nobody is here...okay." He checks his phone and scrunches his nose, and you kind of feel like kissing it. "I'm sorry, I guess everyone ignored the group chat this morning."
"That's alright, are they somewhere else?"
"It's possible, but..." he points to the table filled with snacks and drinks. "I don't wanna drag you around looking for them." The phone is to his ear, and you hear it ringing, and ringing...
"I can wait here if you have to go find them. I already see a coffee carafe with my name on it."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm sure. I haven't had enough coffee or stare at my phone time this morning, anyway. And my friends are down the hall."
He smiles so big, you have to return is just as enthusiastically. Maybe he'll turn up his flirting, and you won't have to feel as responsible for your own.
"I'll be right back"
Chris turns on his heel and is gone, and the room is so quiet. Maybe you should put some music on. Before anything, you look over the catering and wonder if anyone will actually have time to enjoy this. The coffee and lemon water, sure, but this is actually a full-course meal in front of you. Just as you fill your cup with coffee, you hear music...but you don't think you pushed play yet.
No, definitely not, because it's your voice that you're hearing. You turn toward it, and jump when you see him standing there, almost mid-step, one hand reaching to pull at his earlobe. His eyes are wide, but other than that...he seems less surprised to see you than you are to see him. But he does at least pause the music.
"Hello," you say, hoping to get him to come a little closer. Whoever he is, and you feel like you should remember all of their names by now, he looks a little annoyed that he now has to share this space and this coffee with someone else. "My eyesight isn't great even with the contacts... I don't bite."
"Hi," he takes a few steps toward you, and you watch his long legs move in his shorts and socks and clean black converse. "I'm–"
"No, I can remember...give me a second"
He does, but he doesn't seem happy about it. This one doesn't have the carefree smile that Chris did, or the shy demeanor. It's a bit distracting, the way his lips purse into a heart, and the way his big brown eyes look down at you. His hair falls perfectly in front of his eyes, but you're pretty sure he woke up looking this good.
"Oh..." it comes to you, sort of. "You're the puppy, aren't you?" You think you see the ghost of a smile on his lips, but it's gone so quickly. "Seungmin."
"Yes, I'm the puppy. And also Seungmin."
The puppy persona fits him, at least physically. His face is soft and round, his big brown eyes turn every so slightly downward, and his ears—something about the way his ears sit on his head, is so... "it's nice to finally meet you."
"Likewise"
Seungmin holds out his hand for you. You do the same, and he takes it so gently. His touch and his mien don't seem to match, and you wonder if the first impression isn't the one to remember for this one.
/ / /
Seungmin finally takes a deep breath when you turn and head toward the coffee again, and he watches as you very carefully add the smallest amount of milk and sugar to it. He finally finished his, so maybe he should make himself another cup. It gives him a reason to rejoin you instead of standing here looking like an idiot.
"Have you met everyone else, or just me?" What a stupid question, he thinks. "I mean, I'm sure you met someone...you're here."
"I met Chris. He left to go find all of you, but you must be the only one who read the message and listened."
"Yes, I saw the message. I like to be on top of things."
The way his voice lowers as he speaks sends a little shiver up your arms. Seungmin likes to be on top of things, and you love catching an innuendo wherever you can. You smirk, but wipe it from your face when you think he might be looking at you.
Seungmin sees the smile pull at your lips and then disappear immediately. "What?"
"Nothing,” you laugh. “I don’t think you talked much on the calls, did you?”
“I did not speak much, I don’t have too much creative say. I have some, it just depends on what we’re doing.”
“Well, it’s tough getting in there with eight of you, I’m sure. Everyone can’t be everywhere…too many cooks in the kitchen.”
Seungmin allows himself to laugh at that, but he stifles it a little and turns away. You’re as cute and relaxed in person as you seem in interviews, and on stage, and it’s a little overwhelming. He can’t let himself do this—he can’t get himself into something he won’t be able to escape. But he seems to remember reading something about a possible relationship you’ve gotten yourself into. Thinking about that breaks his heart a little, but it’ll at least help keep him away.
None of that matters, though. Why would you have any interest in him in the first place?
“Do you want coffee? How do you take it?”
Dammit, okay… “black is good.”

King and Prince 21
Part 20
Eddie had a fitful sleep that night, tormented by beautiful moans and a body moving against his. Every time he jolted awake, he was struck by the fact that he was alone. He felt like a wreck when the sun rose and wasn’t able to face Steve, who surely knew what he had done. So he hid.
He had his breakfast brought up to his room. He stayed there until he absolutely had to leave for a meeting and even then he went through the halls quietly, just so he could be sure he’d hear Steve if he was coming. When he did hear voices, he panicked and turned to a form Steve hadn’t seen yet, a medium sized black dog. He stood at attention in front of a door like he was keeping guard only for El and Dustin to come around the corner.
They gave him the customary pats on the head before continuing on their way. He slumped as he relaxed, transforming back and rounding the next corner only to run right into Steve. They stopped just short of something and Steve opened his mouth.
He might’ve just made a sound. He might’ve been beginning to say something. Either way, Eddie didn’t stick around long enough to hear it. In a blur of darkness, he turned into a rabbit and scurried off. Too quick for Steve to even think of following. He had to go the long way around to get to his study and despite his speed, he was late.
Nancy was sitting in front of his desk, but he went to the side where a couch was and draped himself across it with a heavy sigh. He was putting on for dramatics only a little bit.
“Am I going to be able to tell you my report or do we need to deal with your troubles first?”, Nancy asked, cutting straight to the point.
“I watched him last night”, Eddie said, arm covering his eyes. “He was getting fucked by another man.”
Nancy raised a brow. “‘Another man’. As opposed to who? You?”
He went from using his arm to covering his face with both hands. Then he stood up and paced about the room before stopping at the window behind his desk.
“Is it wrong to want him?”
“He’s attractive”, Nancy allowed herself to say. But that wasn’t what he was asking, she knew. “Can we go back to the part about you watching him have sex with someone. How did that happen?”
Eddie turned to face her fully and sat down in his chair. “I was following him because I was curious of the company he kept. I mean, you were the one all concerned…”
“Uh-huh..”
“And I just happened to…see…”
“And you got out of there immediately, didn’t you?”
Eddie sucked in a breath through his nose and Nancy’s eyes widened.
“Did he see you?!”
Eddie let out a groan as his head fell to his desk, hair spilling over his shoulders.
“Is that why you were late? You were talking to him about it?”, Nancy asked.
There was a muffled ‘no’ from Eddie before he stood up and paced about for around thirty seconds, then dropped onto the couch again, sitting up properly this time.
“I saw him just before coming here and I..I ran.”
“Wait, I don’t understand, you ran away? From him?”
Eddie nodded, head hanging low between his legs.
"I've never seen you run", Nancy said.
"Well, you didn't see me before all...", he gestured to his whole body and then the opulent room around them. "I used to run from my problems all the time." He still felt like that little foundling sometimes.
"And that prince made you do this?" Nancy had seen the power that resided inside of him. It was hard to believe he was afraid of facing anything.
"I can't very much just tear his throat out if he displeases me", Eddie said, lounging across the couch.
Nancy made a sound in the back of her throat that sounded like ‘you could but everyone knows you wouldn’t.’ Despite his great power, Eddie didn’t care much to throw it around or use it to hurt people unduly. She put her chin in her hand.
“You will need to talk to him eventually”, she said. “And I would do it today.”
“Wanna put money in how long I can play Keep-Away with myself?”, he smirked.
“He’s just a man. And you are a king”, Nancy said, voice firm. “Now if you’re not going to do that right now, let me get to my report.” She tapped the stack of papers on the desk.
--------------------------
Eddie walked out of his study about an hour later, looking for a way to decompress. He decided on the library. It had been some time since he’d been able to truly curl up with a book alone. His collection was vast enough that there were still books he hadn’t read yet. But there were also well-loved and worn books. Stories that he always put in the same place. He started to float over, already feeling lighter.
He got to the bookcase and then rose up to one of the top shelves, quite a ways up high. So he was caught off guard when he found the book, pulled it off the shelf, and met Steve’s face.
They both shouted out but as Eddie just flinched back slightly, Steve fell away from the shelf completely. Eddie flew across the top, reaching out and grabbing Steve from the air. Eddie held Steve to himself as he slowed them to a stop just an inch above the floor. Then he came down the rest of the way.
He relaxed his hold enough for Steve to pull his head back. It seemed to occur to them at the same time and they jumped away in unison. Eddie was clearing his throat and making all types of compensating noises while Steve fixed his clothing. He was turned halfway from the king, trying not to meet his gaze but unable to stop from looking out of the corner of his eye.
Eventually, he broke the silence. “You wanted to watch me?”
“You wanted me to watch you?”, Eddie shot back.
Steve frowned and then pushed some hair behind his ear. Eddie got the glimpse of a red mark just under his ear. Like someone had sucked on it, hoping to leave a mark and make Steve remember them.
“You won’t even tell me about yourself.”
“I’m sorry”, Eddie said. “I don’t-it’s not exactly a happy story. Humans…they took everything from me. I don’t find it easy to talk about.”
“I don’t need to know the dark details, not unless you want me to know. But I hardly know anything.” He knew some of the things Eddie liked, but he didn’t know him. “I feel like you know so much more about me. You’ve certainly seen more of me.”
Eddie withered under his gaze. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have gone after you. Or overstayed my welcome.” He could make excuses about being trapped by Steve’s eyes or other lurid things. But that wasn’t fair to Steve in any way, shape, or form.
“Were you just checking up on me? I mean why were you following me? Do you not trust me?” Steve expected to hear that no, the king still didn’t trust him. A part of him wanted to hear… he didn’t even know what he wanted to hear. Just something… something warm.
“I was wondering why you never brought your lovers here”, Eddie said, falling back on the reason he gave Robin.
Steve let out a bark of laughter. “And tell them what? That I’m their enemy? That I’m the same prince they would have hanged? Do you think I could be with anyone here if they truly knew who I was?”
Eddie knew intellectually that he had to be hiding his identity. But he hadn’t taken the time to consider what that meant. What else was Steve hiding about himself? What else was Eddie keeping to himself?
“For crying out loud, I didn’t even know you could fly without being winged.” Steve had definitely braced himself for at least a sprained limb when hands, big and warm, wrapped around him.
Eddie felt something loosen within him. He wanted to reach out and touch Steve but didn’t feel as though he could without some sort of urgent pretense. While Steve didn’t wince and balk when they touched anymore, it wasn’t exactly welcome either. While they couldn’t quite close the gap physically right now, he could do other things.
“Would you like to take a walk with me?”

Pitch Pearl ATUS AU - Part 4
shout out to my homie, @dopefestsuit who commented that they were waiting for part four.
last where we left off, Sam and Tucker realize they have powers. they realize that if they have powers too then they should be able to reopen the portal. after coming up with a plan, they seek out their classmates.
"Are you ready to get Danny back?"
the second time they enter the portal, they kind of know where they are going. it was easier when they had Danny. he had drawn them maps and explained it in detail, but map doesn't compare to a guide. it becomes obvious when they waltz right into Phantom's throne room.
he was talking to one of his officials when he sees them. he merely laughs. it's infuriating. his guards surround them, but he calls them off. he'll hand it.
"After all, this meeting is personal, isn't it?"
while they are fighting him, star sneaks off with one of the map copies and follows it to where Danny's room is. when she gets there it's empty. however before she can panic, she hears a voice call out to her from the window.
"Star? What are you doing here?"
she quickly tells him that they managed to reopen the portal after Sam and Tucker turned out to have lingering powers from the circlets, but they got caught by Phantom and they are fighting him and they need to go now. Danny grabs her by the hand and rushes to the throne room to go help.
when they arrive, everyone other than Phantom is showing signs of fatigue. he cackles. "Ahahaha! This is so adorable!" He is cut off from his monologue by Danny shooting him in the back with an ectoblast. Phantom whirls around, enraged, but when he sees it's Danny, it turns into betrayal.
“Are you really choosing these weaklings over me? It’s obvious who is going to win. I thought you were smarter than this, Starlight, I really did.”
He shoots him again. "My name is Danny."
the fight picks back up again. Phantom is a brilliant fighter, the best, but even he can't handle an onslaught of attacks coming from every side, especially with the risk of hitting his Starlight is he haphazardly fires back in the same direction. he decides to remove the hazard and go for Danny head on. however he is thrown back into a wall by two unfamiliar auras. it's the humans he abducted. if he had known they would have manifested powers, he would been a less dramatic when choosing a lure.
"This is getting old Starlight."
Danny realizes that Phantom is getting annoyed which means he isn’t going to keep trying to preserve the castle or avoid Danny anymore. he needs to end this now. Dora’s words come back into his mind and he gets an idea.
“HOLD HIM DOWN LONG ENOUGH FOR ME. I HAVE A PLAN!”
they fall back into the same strategy they used before when taking down Sam and Tucker. redirect his attention and get him down. they managed to hold him for a few seconds but its enough time for Danny to get a direct shot at his crown and pick it up.
Phantom just laughs at him. “Oh, Starlight! Do you really think you can you just wear that crown. if you Don't have the strength you’ll go mad and die.” Danny sneers at him. “I rather die than be with you.”
he places the crown up his head the pain is blinding and the energy filling his veins makes him want to rip his skin off. the crown is overwhelming and it does kill him. just not all the way. just enough for the ghost energy to properly circulate. just enough to form a core along side his heart. just enough to become new king. Phantom's mocking laughter fades into fear and distressed cries of disbelief.
“STARLIGHT, YOU CAN'T! I AM KING! STARLIGHT, IF YOU KNOW WHAT/S GOOD FOR YOU WILL RETURN THAT CROWN NOW OR I’LL KILL EVERYONE ON YOUR STUPID PLANET! STOP BEING SUCH AN INSUFFERABLE BRAT. YOU'RE SO SELFISH YOU CAN'T EVEN APPRECIATE EVERYTHING IVE DONE FOR YOU!”
he lunges at Danny and the crown but is stopped by an shot to the core and crumbles. a great king turned into a mad tyrant into a blubbering mess. its over. he won’t be causing anymore trouble.
Danny leans down to the fading corpse of Phantom and stares at the enraged expression on his face before shutting his eyes and taking a glowing green ring from the pieces of jewelry decorating his fingers. he slips it on and waits for his body to adapt to it before turning to his classmates and telling them its time to go home. nobody has said anything since Phantom started shouting. there is nothing to say anyways.
it takes a week for school to go back to normal. Danny did eventually have to deal with the consequences of becoming king and put an end to the ghosts harassing the humans. they could never seal the natural portals, but they don’t need to anymore. Danny’s ghost friends have been aiding him along with ruling and while the ghosts are still unhappy with a partially human king, they have all admitted to themselves it was time for a change. Phantom was a mad tyrant, slowly becoming more and more like the mad king he liberated them from.
things are not the same anymore. things have changed. but this time its a good change.

Miss ma'am, sorry to bother you, but i HAVE to request some fatgum and all for one , ive recently gotten their pins from piebald pins (the lil melted ice cream ones) and cannot stop imagining how would they react if they saw you wearing it!
Lots of love, my dear! 🧸❤️
(You are absolutely not bothering me! Without asks, this would be a blog of me just rambling on senseless borderline thirsty posts about villains. Asks make the world go round even when I don't get to them as often as I'd like to! Anyway, I can do All for One but I have to leave out fatgum since it's a villain blog. Sorry about that!)
headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up
Given this universe, I don't imagine it's a surprise you were able to come across something like this.
Villains getting merch made for them here and there was something to be expected, but didn't come to be widely known until after Stain had come and gone. It was like flood gates had opened up. Suddenly you weren't just able to find a single thing here and there on the black market. No, now you were able to even find villain keychains or shirts in small convenience stores despite the negative reaction from most people in society. That's what led to you being able to get your hands on the small pin you'd found rummaging through a plastic sale bin at a local store nearby. When you saw it, the smile that spread across your face didn't leave until you made it home so you can properly examine the pin. "Oh yeah, this is definitely it." You smiled again as you adjusted it upon your chest. Time ticked down on the clock until it was time to meet in the dining room for dinner. You waltzed right into the room and proudly took a seat at the table. About a minute or two later he entered the room. "My apologies for being late dearest, I was originally intending to make it before you but had some loose ends to tie up." He adjusted his tie and took a seat with you at the table. You could barely contain your chuckles when he'd paused immediately upon noticing the pin on your suit.
"Dear...where on Earth did you manage to find something like that?" You finally started laughing as he moved closer to examine the pin. His confusion alone was enough to make you laugh for quit a while. It was rare you were able to get that reaction out of him but every time you were successful in doing so, it was a rewarding feeling nonetheless. "You have a very peculiar sense of style for this one." He tapped the pin on your shirt. "However, I suppose it isn't my place to judge. At the very least, try to find something more impressive on your part. I can't be considered the true king of the underworld with merchandise as silly as that." He chuckled lightly. "Oh you wish. I'll be on the hunt for something new soon. just wait and see." You teased him.

Little Secret
Request: Wonderful! Could please write an escenario in which y/n (half elf and half human) was part of the company cause Gandalf hired her. She and Kili fell for each other and secretly started courting. Once Erebor was reclaimed everything was going back to normal. Thorin asked her to stay for as long as she liked. When Fili & Kili's mom got there, she had lots of meetings with Thorin so y/n was not able to properly meet her. The day that they are actually introduced, Thorin announces Kili's and Fili's arranged marriages which took everyone by surprise. Y/n and Kili try to figure and fix things out in order to convince Thorin to put off the arrange marriage but it does not work. Therefore, y/n decides to leave Erebor and ends up leaving to Dale; befriending/ helping Bard and his kids. During her time there she finds out that she was pregnant with Kili's child. However, she never notifies Kili nor goes to Erebor to announce it thinking that he had his duty as a prince and it would be harmful for him/ his arranged marriage. So, she makes the decision to raise the baby on her own. Time goes by and on a normal day (when she was 9 months pregnant) that she's walking around Dale while feeling contractions she bumps into Kili. Thank you so much!❤️ Sorry for the long message 😅 - @just-a-dreamer23
A/N: I know, I know, this is soo long. But, I enjoyed writing this story!! I've been trying to overcome my lack of motivation to write, so maybe it isn't as good in some parts, as my other stories, but I wanted to keep it that way, so I hope you enjoy anyways.

The afternoon was hot. The best thing to do, was to take a nap. At least, in your opinion.
Nothing would attack in this heat, you thought, as you rested under a tree. A while after, you noticed pointy hat and grey cloak of the same colour. You lazily waved.
"Gandalf, long time no see!" Gandalf smiled at you.
"Good afternoon, Y/N." You stood up and looked at him, waiting. Gandalf never came just...for no reason.
"How are you doing?" Gandalf asked, and you shrugged.
"I'm just wandering around, as usual. You know me. I never stay in one place for too long." You said. Gandalf knew that, obviously. Being a child of an elf and a human, you felt like you never belong anywhere.
Elves felt really tense and quiet, and humans were quite loud for you, because of your hearing. And you aged lot slower than them, so making friends was also quite...not it.
"I've been looking for you, to join an adventure," You curiously gave him a look.
"An adventure? What kind of adventure?"
"Well," he looked at you.
"You know about Erebor and the line of Durin, right?" You frowned at him, and quickly shook your head.
"Gandalf, I can't-I can't join the dwarves! They will hate me! Everyone knows they hate the elves, and I'm half elf!" You said.
"Well, who said they will know? You owe me help," he reminded you. You thought back to when he healed you after orcs attacked you, and you sighed. He was right. This was the least you could do.
"And, who knows. Maybe they will like you," he gave you a look, and you folded your hands on your chest, and let out a sigh.
"Alright then. Where and when am I supposed to be?" He gave you all the information you needed. And you started your way to the Shire, looking at the first evening stars, as the starlight is what the Elves of Mirkwood love so much.
You got to the Shire around late afternoon after three days of traveling, and smiled. The hobbits and their houses were tiny, so you couldn't help, but smile. Maybe it won't be that bad, having perhaps a hobbit friend, after all...
-
You remembered the moment when you first met Kili. You thought Gandalf was there at Bilbo's house, but when you opened the door...
"Are you Master Boggins?" You frowned at the brunette dwarf.
"Do I look like a hobbit to you?" He looked at the other dwarf, then back at you, but there was Bilbo already.
Later on the journey, he found you without your cape on. It was your turn for bathing, but him and Fili forgot some their things at the river.
You just put off your cloak, and put your hair down from your headband. You heard steps, so you quickly turned around.
"You are..." Fili started.
"...an elf?" Kili finished. You huffed.
"Half elf. My mother was...human." you whispered. Painful memories of your early life came up, and you blinked to stop the tears.
"Don't tell anyone, please..." you looked at them. Both Fili and Kili must've seen something in your expression, that made them realize the importance. They nodded. Kili was, however, curious. Lot more than before, and asking you about elves. You talked about it when Thorin was far enought to not hear what was your conversations about, but it wouldn't matter much. Gandalf told them you spent part of your life living with the elves, which was true.
In fact, Kili became fascinated by you. He liked you before, and had a feeling, which he wasn't sure about. Interest, curiousity, the need to protect you, adoration...
In the moment he saw you, he realized you were his One, his love for life. And when you got closer, he asked you to court him. You said yes. From then on, you shared many quiet and stolen kisses and moments together, in the shadows of forests or your bedrooms in pubs.
The moment everyone else (except for Bilbo and the Durin brothers) found out, was when you came into Mirkwood. Thranduil ordered his guards to take your cloak and headband off, and now, everyone could see your pointy ears.
There was a moment of silence.
"What made an elf, to travel with group of dwarves?" You gulped and looked down.
"I'm a-a half elf," you whispered.
"My father was from here." You explained, and the king shot you a glare. He was not stupid. He knew you tried to pull his attention away.
"Take them to the dungeons, except for Oakenshield," he said.
When you made yourself as comfortable as you could on the cold floor, you overheard the dwarves trying to find out who you actually were and what you wanted.
To your surprise, they didn't talk about you in a bad way. Just curiousity. Thankfully.

"Do you think she will like me?" You said to Kili. He was writing a letter to his and Fili's mother, Dis, the happy news - Erebor was reclaimed, and they all survived. It's been a week since, and Thorin decided it was the right thing to let his sister know as soon as possible. She was surely worried.
Kili turned to you.
"Like you? Like you? She is going to love you," Kili grinned at you, and you had to smile a little too.
"Yeah, but...you know, I'm not a dwarf," you said your worry aloud. It was true. Being a half-elf, you and Kili started courting in secret. Thorin was not really kind to you, at least the first half of the journey. However, the rest of the Company liked you lot more. Especially Kili. After a while of knowing of what did you feel, you decided to tell him. To your surprise, but happiness, Kili shared those feelings. And since then, you had a tiny braid, hidden in your hair, and Kili as well.
And stole many, many secret kisses.
"I don't think mum is going to have issue with this," Kili stood up, and gently placed your hair behind your ear.
"You're my One, and you make me incredibly happy. I'm sure she won't have problem with you being half elf," You cupped his cheek, and softly smiled, as you looked deep in his kind brown eyes.
"I love you too, my short Prince," He stood on his toes and kissed you, getting a giggle from you. He pouted, when he heard you called him short, but you knew he didn't mind it.
You kissed him, and felt his smile on your lips. You were leaning down, when suddenly you lost balance, and both you and Kili ended up lying on the floor. Kili and you let out a yelp, but then broke into giggles.
"I love you," Kili said, when you finally stopped laughing. You cuddled into his chest and breathed in his scent. Kili smelled like smoke, food and fresh air.
"I love you too," Kili gently stroke your hair, and you got up.
"Where are you going?"
"You have to finish the letter, and I promised Tilda I will take a walk with her before the dinner." You helped Kili to get up.
"Alright my beloved, have a good time," he gently kissed you, and sat back to his desk. You smiled, and ruffled his hair.
"You too, my dearest." You smiled, and left the room.
-
It's been a few months, and you were finally, finally going to meet Kili and Fili's mother, Dis. She has been there for around two weeks by now, but, you haven't got the chance to meet her and be introduced to her yet.
You were officially going to meet her during upcoming celebration. Needless to say, you were freaking out.
Your stomach was tight from anxiety for a few days already, and that afternoon, it felt absolutely horrible. You haven't eaten whole day, just because all you thought about was the evening.
You spent around an hour of putting on and off different dresses from your wardrobe, trying to figure out which one to wear.
"Y/N?" Kili knocked on the door of your chambers.
"C'me in," you said. He came in, and his eyes widened, when he seen you sitting in front of the mirror, your eyes red and the mess everywhere.
"What am I supposed to wear? I have nothing to wear!" You started crying. All the stress and anxiety in past three months got the best of you. Random moments of crying, because of tiny things, were happening on daily basis.
"Dear, what is happening?" He pulled your hair back behind your ears.
"I-I just want-want your mum to like me," you muttered.
"And...it stresses me out." Kili nodded, and shortly hugged you.
"She is going to love you no matter which dress you wear, I promise." He whispered to your ear.
"Now, I think..." Kili looked around.
"I think the...the dark green dress will be perfect."
When you changed into the dress Kili picked you, Kili brushed and styled your hair. He pulled the top section into a clip, and you pulled a few strands, to frame your face. You smiled at yourself in the mirror.
"You ready?" Kili asked. You just silently nodded.
As you walked down the hall, Kili was trying to figure out where his uncle, brother and mother went to. He couldn't see them anywhere, and he was sure he was once in a while not late.
When you entered the huge throne room, you could see Fili, and let out a breath of relief.
"Fili, have you seen-"
"Kili, there you are," A woman came from behind Fili, and looked over her younger son.
"Have you brushed your hair?" Kili huffed.
"Of course I did." He said quietly, so nobody could hear him. He was visibly embarrassed, and you let out laugh. She suddenly turned to you. Her deep blue eyes reminded you Thorin, but they had the same twinkle as Kili and, occasionally, Fili.
"I don't remember I seen you here before," she said.
"Well, I usually spend my time outside of Erebor, so I think that might be it," You nervously smiled. She hummed.
"I-I'm not a part of the royal family," you said, and almost groaned. Now that was embarrassing for sure.
"Y/N, this is my and Kili's mum, Dis. Mum, this is Y/N," Fili said, and you felt your cheeks heat up.
"I-um-" You tried to say something, but she pulled you in short hug.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N," she gave you a smile, and then went back between the guests with Fili.
You let out a breath.
"That was embarrassing," you groaned. Kili chuckled.
"No, not at all. She likes you." It suddenly felt like it was much easier to breathe.
"She-she does?" Your eyes widened, and Kili nodded.
"Of course! And you can bet she will steal you to me during the evening,"
"How do you know that?" You turned to him with surprise written all over your face.
"She is my mother. I know her for a long time." He just said.
"She seems to be...different from Thorin," you said, hoping it wouldn't come out as offensive. Kili chuckled.
"Mum and Uncle really aren't that different. Uncle just focuses more on the kingdom and mum, on family," Kili said in low voice, so that only you could hear it.
When you sat down to the table, where the royal family and the Company was, you looked around. You and Kili did secretly hold hands under the table, and you talked to Dis, who was sitting across the table.
"Good evening, everyone," Thorin said, and the people got more quiet.
"It's my pleasure to meet all of you here today. I have some things to say, before the celebration starts." Thorin paused, and Kili leaned near you with a grin.
"It's just a few formalities, don't worry, love." You smiled at him back with tight smile. You felt something was not right. Thorin talked about the kingdom a little at first. The next news was, however, what you were afraid of.
"I'm very happy to say, my nephew Fili is going to marry-" you let out a breath. Kili turned to you with worry.
"Do you feel okay?" He asked, when suddenly...
"And my nephew Kili, who also has already arranged marriage, with-"
Kili stared at Thorin, and you as well.
"Kili-Kili, please-" you tried to stop Kili from going to Thorin. Kili was visibly angry, his jaw was tight, and body tense.
"Kili? What is happening?" Thorin came and let through his teeth. You suddenly felt everyone's eyes on you.
"I need some fresh air," you whispered and walked away, as quickly as you could. When you left, you came in your chambers, kneeled to your bed, and started crying.
You knew it. You should've known before.
Thorin would do this. Even when Fili and Kili were children, he would make sure they had wives already. They were princes. They needed to have a wife.
And Thorin...Thorin would never allow Kili to court you or marry you.
The next day, Kili came into your room. He had dark circles under his eyes, and gave you weak smile.
"I promise we will work this out," he muttered, and pulled you close to his chest.
Kili was asleep - and you let him - but, you thought about your situation, and tried to come up with possible solutions.
However, it was as if there weren't any.
It's been a few days, and you cuddled into your blanket. You fell asleep, and when you woke up, you looked around the room.
This place isn't for me anymore, you thought, and started packing your clothes into your bag. You changed into tunic and trousers, and wrote a letter to Kili, that you were sorry, but it was probably better to have a wife his Uncle would like, that you were leaving and never coming back, so he shouldn't be looking for you.
You quietly left the palace, and walked out in the morning. The air was fresh and nice, and for a moment, you forgot your sadness.
You walked to Dale, and decided to meet Bard. You had nowhere to go, and maybe staying there would be good, before you'd go...somewhere else.
The guards let you in, and as you thought of going to Rivendell, you noticed Bard.
"Bard?" He turned to you, and nodded at you.
"Hi Y/N. What brings you here?" You sighed.
"I'm leaving Erebor, Bard...but the problem is, I need to think about of where-" you suddenly felt dizzy, and Bard catched you. He called for a healer, that's what your hazy mind could catch.
You basically woke up, in a room. On a bed. Comfortable bed.
"Lie still, lady Y/N," the healer said. You frowned a little, when she placed her ear to your stomach.
"I can hear the heartbeat clearly. The baby is most likely around three months old," she said.
"What baby?" You asked, confused. You looked from the healer to Bard and Bard to healer. She took your hands in hers.
"You don't know, my lady? You are pregnant. I can clearly hear the heartbeat of your child," she softly smiled at you. You shook your head, and felt a few tears escaping your eyes.
"I'm...I'm with child," you whispered. You could not believe it. So perhaps, it wasn't just stress...
"Who is the father?" The healer asked, when she helped you to sit up. You nervously looked in your lap.
"Kili. Prince...Kili. Kili Durin." You said, and Bard and the healer shared a look.
"He...he doesn't know. Can we keep it a secret? Please?" You looked at them.
They said yes. Bard was like a father to you, and let you stay. He showed you chambers, that would be your home for next few months at least.
You never went back to Erebor. You thought Kili had to marry the princess, so you just tried to think of the baby you were carrying.
It wasn't that hard, honestly. The baby was often restless, though.
As if it missed Kili as much as you did...
Even if the baby would have to grow up without it's biological dad, you were sure you'd be able to take care of them well.
Some days, you were happy, and didn't think of Kili too much. It pained you, yes, and you knew you had to be strong for the baby, so you often asked someone to teach you something, such as how to prepare different meals, how to knit or how to play piano, to name a few.
Other days, you felt sad. It could be because of the weather, or hormones, some days you just woke up sad, and sometimes it was when something reminded you of Kili. Those days, the baby was the most restless, and the maids told you it was because the baby missed it's father.
You sat down to the armchair next to the window in your bedroom, and looked out on the street. Nobody could see you from here, so it made you feel safe. You looked up and seen Erebor.
"There's your daddy, over there," you whispered to the baby.
The answer you got, was soft kick.
-
"Does it hurt?" Sigrid asked you, looking at your belly. You smiled at her.
"No, it doesn't." You stroke your stomach. You've been pregnant for past almost nine months. Bard was so kind and let you stay, and even offered you bigger chambers, which you gladly agreeded to. The chambers were perfect size, and the baby could have their own small room, overtime.
You let out shaky breath. You wanted Kili to know about all of this. To be there with you, talk to you and to the baby.
But, it was not possible. It would hurt his reputation, and perhaps even his marriage.
You dried your tears, and carefully stood up. Even as pregnant, you were able to stand up yourself, luckily quite easily. You felt very thankful for some of your genes being from the elves, because, as Bard explained to you, humans had it harder.
When you slowly got yourself out of the castle, you breathed in. The air smelled nicely - you smelled fresh bread, old leaves, fresh air from the lake. Mix of summer and autumn. You felt it was one of the last few warm days, before the typical autumn comes.
You looked around, and your cravings were begging you for some freshly baked, soft warm bread with fresh butter, melting on top of it. You thought of the crispiness of the bread's crust, and your mouth started watering. You groaned, when you felt how your stomach let you know some snack would come handy.
You slid your hand to your pocket, and made sure you have enough money.
You started walking, to find some bakery, and as you looked around, you noticed one on the other end of the street.
You let out a breath, and started walking towards the small store.
You were almost there, when you overheard a gasps, escaping a few young girls. You slowed down and listened to their conversation.
"Did you see him?"
"Yes, I did. Do you think it really is the Prince?"
"Of course he is! I mean, look at him. I'd recognize the hair clip everywhere." You frowned a little, when you suddenly realized it. You stopped walking, and felt hot wave running down your back, and liquid running down your leg.
You carefully looked down. It was clear.
You turned around, and - damn it! - your eyes locked with Kili's in the exact moment.
He started walking towards you. You clearly recognized happiness in his eyes, and relief.
"Y/N, where have you been those past months? I was worried about you," He said, and when he was near you, you recognized even the wet shine in his chocolate eyes. You felt sudden rush of guilt.
He must have notice the guilt on your face. Kili frowned a little, when he took a notice of your belly, under the dress.
"I-you..." You noticed it. He was holding back tears. You shook your head, as you tried to hold your own.
"Kili, it isn't like this...please trust me!" You felt another wave of heat running down your back, and stepped forward, but sudden dizzines made you take wrong step. Kili quickly catched you.
"Kili, I-this is, uh..."
"You moved on," he said. You shook your head.
"No, it's...you are the father," you said, but didn't notice what was his reaction, because suddenly, you realized what was going on, as you were holding your belly.
"I need to get back, and find a healer and midwife," you let out through your gritted teeth.
"We will get there quickly," Kili let out, and you had a feeling.
"Don't you dare to faint!" You let out.
Kili helped you to get back. You noticed Sigrid, and told her to quickly find healer. She didn't ask anything, and quickly runned away. You let out a groan and gripped Kili's arm.
"Lady Y/N, we need to get you to the room prepared for labour," the healer said, and checked on your belly.
When you got there, and changed into simple gown, you laid down as the healer told you.
Kili stayed there, and you were gripping his arm and hand.
"I'm not fucking letting you to sleep with me ever again," you said through gritted teeth. Kili took a shaky breath, and you shot him a glare.
"Don't you dare to faint, Kili Durin! You did put this baby inside me nine months ago, so now-"
"This is just the pain speaking from Lady Y/N, Prince Kili. Don't take it personally," Kili gulped and nodded.
"You're doing great, love," he said carefully. You let out a huff.
"I didn't finish! Now you will deal with me breaking your arm, because it hurts!" You almost yelled at him.
"I can see the head, my Lady!" The healer smiled.
"With this next contraction, you will push as much as you can!" The healer said.
"Okay, one, two, three-push!"
"You're doing great, dear. The baby is almost there," Kili tried to cheer you up.
"You have no idea how painful it is!" You screamed.
"My lady, this is going to be your last push, are you ready?" The healer looked up at you, and you nodded.
"One, two, three, push!" The healer let out. You gripped Kili's hand, and suddenly...
You heard a baby scream.
"It's a girl!" The healer said happily. You smiled, and let out some happy tears.
"You-you did it!" Kili said, and you wiped off your eyes.
"No, we did it," you muttered, and he kissed your cheek.
"How do you feel, Y/N?"
"I'm okay," you smiled. The midwife checked on you, and handed you your baby.
"Everything seems to be in order," she said and smiled. You smiled at her back. She was there for you for all those months, and you got close.
"Thank you so much," She nodded.
"I'll leave you alone," she said, and left.
You stroke the baby's cheek.
"How are we going to name her?" Kili whispered, and stroke the baby's chubby cheek. You shrugged.
"Well...I'm not sure. I was thinking of Arina," you said.
"It's...it's beautiful name," Kili said, and you realized he was crying.
"Kili...I'm so sorry for...for hiding it from you," you whispered. Kili shook his head.
"Love...it isn't your fault. Can I...can I hug you?" You nodded, and he slid his arm around your shoulders.
"If anything, it's my fault." He muttered.
"I should've known where did you go, and-"
"Shh," you said.
"We can talk about that later. Arina's asleep now."
You were quietly watching the baby. The midwife came back soon, to check on you and the baby, and when she left, Kili spoken up.
"We talked Uncle the marriges out." You nodded.
"You left Erebor by then already. I was looking everywhere for you, only if I knew-" you subtly interrupted him.
"I didn't know either. I wanted to go to Rivendell, but...then, I found out. It would be risky, so Bard let me stay here," You shrugged.
"Do you still want to leave, though?" Kili looked at you with sad eyes, when he looked away from your daughter. You shook your head.
"No." Kili grinned, and gently brushed his hand over your cheek.
"Just for your information...mum was going nuts when she found out about the arranged marriges. She likes you a lot." You smiled, and took Kili's hand in yours.
"Well...let's hope she likes her too," You looked at Arina's sleeping face.
You came back the next day. Kili had to go to Erebor that evening, but in the morning, he came back.
When you entered, you overheard a strong female voice. You quickly realized who was the woman.
"I don't care my brother has a meeting. Go tell him he has to come here. It's a family emergency," she said, and turned to you and Kili.
"Y/N, where have you-oh, who is this?" Dis turned to you, and noticed the baby. You shared a look with Kili.
"This is your granddaughter," You said carefully. Dis looked between you and Kili, and it seemed like most things clicked to her. She smiled.
"Well..."
"Dis, what does that means?" Thorin's voice came from different hall, and you noticed Fili giving you a knowing smile.
"Thorin..." you said, and he turned to you. He seemed to be confused, but then he looked at Arina.
"What does this-"
"Uncle, let's get some privacy first," Fili said.
When you came to library, Thorin turned to you. Dis stood up, as if she would want to protect you.
"Uncle...Y/N and I started courting on the quest in secret. We planned to get married, but when you announced the arranged marriges for me and Fili, we-"
"I left Erebor, because I thought you would never accept me as partner for your nephew, Thorin. I found out I was pregnant, however, I didn't want to hurt Kili's reputation or his marrige, so I never came back to announce it. He met me in Dale yesterday, and I, um...I went to labour." Thorin has been looking at you and Kili. Your body was tense, and Fili, Kili and Dis were ready to protect you any moment.
Thorin slowly closed this eyes, and placed his face into his palms. When he looked up again, he let out a sigh.
"Fili, Kili, sister, leave us alone."
"But Uncle-" Fili said, but Thorin shook his head.
"I said, leave us alone. It won't be long." They three left, and you were a bit afraid.
"Kili is a prince, yes. But, he is also a dwarf, who needs to have someone who he is happy with." Thorin said, looking away from you.
"I noticed, of course. You make him happy, Y/N. I thought it was just childish love, that you would leave, and it would break Kili's heart. I owe you honest apology, Y/N. For thinking you wouldn't take his love seriously." He looked at you, and you let out a small smile. You nodded.
"Apology accepted, Thorin. Courting Kili makes me incredibly happy, and I am honored to say he is my lover," you said, and Thorin looked at you.
"Well, and when it comes to, um...you staying, you can stay here. If you would like to."
"I'd be very thankful."
A few years later
"Fi, look!" Kili said, as Arina walked towards Kili, again. She was giggling, as her father was dancing with her. You laughed.
"Kili, be careful!"
"Daddy, look!" The little girl pointed to a butterfly, who sat on her dress.
"Yeah, it's beautiful," Kili said, and she pouted.
"Don't move, or it will fly away!" Arina let out, and let the butterfly gently walk on her palm.
"Uncle, look, I got a butterfly!" Arina showed it to Fili, who nodded with nervous face.
"Oh, it's beautiful, Ari. Would you put it, um, a bit away from me, please?" She put the butterfly on a flower, and Fili let out a breath.
"I'm sleepy, mommy." She came to you, and lean her head on your shoulder.
"Ari?" A little boy came, and the girl jumped up with grin.
"Vili!" She squealed, and started tickling her cousin.
"Granny!" Arina gasped, when she noticed Dis.
"You are growing up so fast, Ari!" She said proudly, and you two shared a look.
"Aye, that's what she does," Kili let out a chuckle, and gently kissed your cheek.

"She's almost ready sir!" a winged creature announced. Nodding in his throne, he took the mirror and looked through it. There you were getting ready to meet a mysterious guy at a club or well hoping to once again. He smirked devilishly knowing you remembered to come back to this particular club.
He previously brought you to this nightclub in Korea, hidden through an alleyway in the darkest part of Busan. There was danger and a constant fear of being robbed, kidnapped. Even if Korea was a safe place, things like kidnapping and murder still happen and even more so at night.
He remembered that you kept a knife and a taser with you, he liked the vulnerability you had going to a place not meant for angels let alone humans at night. He found it charming how oblivious you are to your surroundings as well. He was a man of darkness and hell for sure, but one thing was for sure. He only craved humans who were pure and light energetically. 'Suppose you did know that the Club was own by the devil himself, would that really stop you' he thought.
He watched her put on clothes and noticed how delicate she was in his eyes. No, this wasn't the first time he'd watch her. Not the last either, it seemed like a generational curse in his eyes. He wasn't mad he placed it on the females to feel tempted by his actions, however, each one passed the test. you however failed it the first two times, making it the third time.
Sighing, he put the mirror down and stood up. Stretching, he allowed his black feather wings to elongate and move around before putting them away. Looking at his watch it was a quarter past 11 pm, he'd knew you want to be early and try and catch a good table. However the little worry of what if someone wanted to take you before him, hurt you before him. The thoughts riled him up, making him grab his keys and wait by the portal. Besides the gate doesn't open until 11:59, so his intrusiveness can calm for now.
While waiting, he took out the cute little human hand mirror you'd gifted him a while back. He looked at himself and the scar over his left eye, "maybe this is what attracts them" he chuckled softly.
As time fastened, he waited for the lock in the air to appear. He waited long and hard for that little red lock and once it appeared, he opened all the portals from his underworld to the human world and the other one which lead stright to his club.
Formally known as 666 plaza to hadians, the chosen humans only knew it as void 218. To you it was just another club on the holy day of Sunday. Although you were never brought up with Christianity, you had the basics that everyone knew, loved, and hated.
Waiting by the gates or humanly known as "doors" you pulled out your phone to realize there was no battery or charge. Confused as you could've sworn it was full when you left, you herd the doors open and the mini line began moving. Your eyes wandered the room to find the stairs that led to the upper level where you would meet and see Yoongi. You knew it was stupid to keep doing this, but with yours and his schedule it wasn't at all.
Passing by the few people, you found upstairs and walked up seeing there were already people inside which confused you, but you paid little attention to it. Waiting by the usual black velvet seats and area, you head a familiar voice.
"Is this your regular peach vodka with light ice?" yoongi asked loudly over the now loud music playing. Nodding, you sat up and greeted him before getting your drink. Little did u know about his plans with you or what tonight was gonna be.
Smiling softly, yoongi was gentle eyes admired your beauty as he get down with his own drink. He took a sip of his own drink that was laced with a sleeping drug, one that'd do nothing to him and more to you.
"So what are you doing here?" He asked knowingly.
"Well, it's a Sunday and I have nothing planned so I thought I come by" you lied, hoping the white lie would slip. Nodding, yoongi put his hand on your thighs and moved closer to talk to you about life and each other week. You mentioned something about the campus or school you were studying and he lied about his "forensics" job and how hard it was to see how people died. Continuing, he bought the two of you more drinks and when the timing was right offered one of his. Thanking him for the kind jester, you took a sip. He smiled and also took a sip after you, then placed it back down.
"Good isn't it?" he said, reaching over to his phone and at the time. Noticing he did so you hummed and snuck another sip. Then another. Whatever was in had you almost drinking his entire cup down.
"Omg what is this, what's making it so good. I can't put my finger on it" she said as her words slowed down and her eyes blinked slowly. He watched her body start to feel tired, then at the right moment whispered in her ear "apple, cherry, lime, it's a light alchcolic drink and right, drugs."
Soon as her eyes closed and body dropped, he mustered enough strength to pick her up and sling you over his shoulder. "Another one taken by the devils favorite drink, poison apple," he whispered knowing nobody cared to stop him not could. Well not if they wanted hells punishment if not worse death, even if they were immortal. Walking up the last set of stairs he opened the portal and handed the keys to his servant and told him to look after.
Noting the girl, the servant nodded and knew the king was gonna take his time and would be in a long "meeting." Taking charge of the place, yoongi walked up to his Castle surrounded by blue flames in the middle of nowhere and walked in. He demanded for total privacy, meaning nobody in or even near the castle or be banished for eternity and with that everyone wondered what that soul did to get his undivided attention. From there gossip spread about you from one to another creature and it traveled fast.
Meanwhile, he laid you on the bed and looked at his watch. The drug last about 30 minutes and about 20minuets have gone. From there he requested one trusted worker with a list. The list was :
The devils list
Body Chains and rope
Salt and a black cross
2 Robes
Wipes
Black paint
Sheep's blood
Lube any flavor
Nodding the worker flew off and yoongi allowed his wings to expand out his back and eyes to turn a dark blue color as his hair contained white strips. He watched your sleeping body, before checking the time and seeing he has 5 minutes left before you wake up. Taking that in he stretched his neck and before activating his speed and undressing you, cleaning the area around the bed, making sure the chain locks are stable and if not changing them, turning off lights and lighting candals all around the room and the whole castle and finally sitting down at the edge. Checking the time once again, he had 3 minutes left and so did the worker before he'd get pissed and with that thought the worker came to drop everything off before yoongi told him to get lost.
With the activation of speed he quickly undressed, sat the cup near the bed and filled it with sheeps blood, put salt near the edge without touching it as it stung him, put the cross around his neck and began drawing a ritual circle around the bed then finnaly the walls. To end everything he placed the chains on your hands and feet then connected to each end of the bed. The rest of the stuff he just put next to the bed and laid naked above you waiting for you to wake up.
He knew the drug was strong, but he didnt think it was that strong so he checked the time again and 10 minutes had passed by. Sighing, he began taking the knife and cut a slit on his wrist and placed the wound to your mouth. After a few blinks, you began to wake up and within a second you panked and a minute later realised you were chained.
Weak, scared, targeted, blood covered lips, chained and his favorite vulnerability he finally felt aroused at the sight. With lust in his eyes and an aura darker than night himself, he slowly kissed your cheek.
"Welcome to hell baby" he greeted, confused you closed your eyes and for once prayed you'd be able to wake up in where you left to only get the image of him drugging you and making you pass out. To then opne them and see the same sight.
"Wouldn't that make you?" She paused trying to yank the chains.
"Hades, satan the devil or whatever you humans call me for ruling the underworld. Then yes that's me and as you see, you're caged like a bug trapped in a spider's web. How cute. How naive to trust anyone you've properly met either. " he whispered the last bit in your ear as his lips traveled around your chest and neck leaving hickeys as he moved.
Groaning, you tried yanking the chains hearing a noise and hoping it ment it broke to realise no he fooled you with the sound of his nails knocking on the wood.
"Got you" he chuckled as you began scared, moving his lips towards your breast he sucked softly getting slight moans from your mouth. "Mm good girl continue with it an d maybe I'll spare your soul" he joked, sucking and groaning your other breast with his hands. Ignoring him and forcing your mouth to close. He raised an eyebrow and sat up, he then looked at your mouth and then his length.
"That wasn't smart now was it dsrling?" He asked, as his crouch hovered your mouth and his length being rubbed on your face as the other hand rested on the wall. "Noe open wide and if not, I can allways just shove it. Dont think about biting as i can manually remove teeth of needed" he mentioned as tears rolled down your eyes as he slowly entered his length.
"Good girl, suck it like that" he groaned, slowly moving his hips all the way in and out. With doing so he admired the trlaclesnt salty wetness driping from her eyes that he took a finger and wiped it. Caressing her face as he continued thrusting and groaning till he felt hard enough and then pulled out. Wiping her eyes again he grabbed the lube and posed the non negotiable question of
"May I pretty angel, take this as mine?" He whispered softly as he leaned down to her ear. Nodding yes a tear ran and he licked it clean, causing a slight shiver down her body. "Good" he replied, putting lube around his own length and stoking it on.
"If you cum on me will I get pregnant?" You asked shyly.
"Mm, well yes and that's my goal princes or should I say queen. Your body is mine after all." he tells, taking his fingers and tracing a cross between your chest as he watches a dark mark appear in a mini cross between your chest.
Crying harder knowing you've not only been kidnapping, but there was an even little chnace of seeing your family friends and well your little pet. "I love when you cry my love" he said softly as his fingers softly rubbed against you clit and his lips attach to yours. Knowingly you kissed back and surprisingly it felt like comfort but tasted like sin and poison. One your body will soon adapt to. As your mouths moved in unison, his fingers rubbed softly around your bud and you were finally able to relax and enjoy the feeling. He had an undeniable hold on your body, one your soul started to grow a liking too the longer her rubbed and kissed your lips. Soon you became hungry for more and grinded against his hand and with the hint he rubbed quicker as you moaned down his throat and his free hand now snaking behind your back. Moaning more you called his name, in which he loved begging you to say again.
"YOONGi!"you moaned louder as his stomach and cock felt it making it twitch slightly. stoping his finger he guided his tip and put his chin on your neck and slid in slowly, taking his time as you adjusted before moving faster. You pulled the chains trying to hold onto him but he shook his head no and softly held your body up with the help of the chains and began pounding into you.
No it was not a speed nor length you were used to, but the feeling you could by a heartbeat. You legs became weak, your back arched hard, your mouth could only stay open and your head was in a daze as he fucked you without mercy. His length was big enough to make you scream from the top of your lungs and beg for more. He loved that and too started moaning which soon started to sound like deep breathes and heavy grunts. He loved the warm, pulsing feeling of your pussy on him as it dripped with cum around him.
"Ah, fuck, That's hot!" he moaned loudly. Moving his hips closer, he pushed his length in deeper and the sounds of his hips crashing into yours echoed the room. You were now at a point of no return, all you could do was moan and take him, which only increased his horniness and overall arousal.
"I'm close!" yoongi groaned and panted as his hips movements slowed down, but the deepness was still there. Shopping, yoongi's body out of tiredness fell on top of yours and he kissed your neck softly. Without enough energy to pull out, he came deep, groaning in your neck and laying still. Both overly fucked out and deep breathing, laid there until yoongi got enough energy to unchain your hands and drink from the cup of blood that started to reek and fill the room. The room that once smelt like lavender and vanilla now smelled like sex and sheep's blood. Leaning down to kiss you, you kissed back with your body begging to ache like hell and body starting to contort you screamed in pain. Whispering something into your neck, he held you close to his chest as you grabbed and scratched his back till the blood came from it.
"Submit and it'll go quickly." he whispered tired as can be. Taking his advice, you closed your body and let it take over. Suddenly your eyes and hair became white as a dove and the pain stopped. Not only did he claim you as his, the kiss of blood crowned you queen of the underworld.
They laid naked as each could no longer have the strength to get up, but hold each other in a soft hug. Comferting and relaxing, considering what had to happen. They slept wedded that night, perfectly times as the full moon was now full and the ritual circle could light up red as the two came into harmony.

Say my name
Summary: You are the new head seamstress at the palace and tasked with the making of new clothes for the General who had his eye on you ever since he first saw you.
Pairing: General Kirigan x F!reader
Wordcount: 3k
Warnings: pining, fluff (kinda?), smut (oral; f receiving, unprotected sex, cum play👀)
A/N: I fully blame @constip8merm8 for this. You know why. I can't promise there will be more, but I had to get this out of my head. This is just an excuse to write some filth, sorry dudes. Tagging @agirllovespancakes cause she wanted me to 💜
Masterlist
You checked everything you would need in the next hour again, lining it up with precision as you waited. You were nervous. Not because the task was complicated, you had been the King’s seamstress for about three years by now, no.
You were nervous because it was him who requested your services personally.
General Kirigan.
You had only met him once briefly as he passed by. Usually his garments were made by the senior seamstress. But she had retired last month, leaving you in charge. Up until now some of your male colleagues had worked with him. But today he wanted you.
And you were positive you would do a superb job. You just had to ignore the handsome man whose body you had to touch to get the measurements you needed to sew his new cloak, coat and pants.
Rubbing your sweaty hands on your thighs you almost jumped when there was a knock at the door. The door opened, revealing one of the many servants, announcing the man who walked in next, before the door was closed again, leaving you alone with the General. You breathed in deeply, a little smile on your face.
“It’s an honor to finally meet you,” you didn’t know why but you bowed a little. Looking up you saw his eyes looking down at you with amusement.
“There’s no need for that. Yet, you better hurry, I have to leave by sundown,” he said and you nodded.
“Will you please take your cloak and coat off, so I can begin with the measurement?” you asked and he nodded, his fingers working each button of his dark coat. You averted your eyes to ignore how his long fingers worked at getting himself undressed. You heard him take off his cloak as you reached for the tape measure and turned to face him.
“I’m gonna be quick,” you promised as you began to work.
He was quiet and still as a stature as you took his measurements. You had your problems reaching his neck but you managed. He was taller than you and you cursed yourself that you didn’t bring your stool so you could work properly. Everytime you looked at him you found his eyes already on yours. This didn’t help your nervousness at all and you felt yourself flush even more.
“If I might say, this would have been easier if I had Manuel do this, he is taller than me,” you said with a nervous smile as you stopped in front of him. He smiled playfully.
“That might be, but I do enjoy your hands more than I do Manuel’s,” he looked at you and you sucked your bottom lip in, not daring to answer.
Not thinking clearly, you got on your knees to get the measurements for his pants, missing the dark look he gave you at seeing you on your knees just where he imagined you ever since he first saw you all these months ago.
He had been thinking about you more than he would like to admit.
You hummed, writing down everything you needed, ignoring the throbbing between your legs as you measured up his, ending way too close to his groin. You looked up at him with big eyes as he groaned and closed his eyes, trying to get his body, his mind, in control. He wanted nothing more than to pick you up and push you against the nearest wall. You saw his jaw tense and you could see just how affected he seemed to be by your closeness as you looked at his growing bulge.
Wetting your lips you got up, turning away from him to write down everything you need.
“Would you like something similar to before, or can I try out some new designs?” you asked, still not turning around, not trusting yourself to not do something even more inappropriate.
“Surprise me,” he said quietly and you nodded. You took more time than usual to write everything down before you turned towards him again. You only needed one measurement until you were finished. Smiling softly, you looked at him.
“Could you bend down so I can measure your…” you gestured up to his neck and he nodded. You expected him to just bend down to let you quickly get the measurements but he kneeled down, now looking up at you and you were pretty sure you were about to faint. He was so close and his scent invading your nose, making you breathe out shakily. If he noticed your shaking hands he didn’t acknowledge it. Instead you felt one of his hands carefully rest on your waist as if to calm you down. This had the complete opposite effect. You let your hands fall to his shoulder, closing your eyes as you breathed in deeply.
“I got everything I need,” you whispered as you opened your eyes and found him looking at you with an expression you couldn’t name. He was so handsome. You wanted to touch him. To caress him. To kiss him. But you were only one mere servant to the king. Even though you got the impression that he wouldn’t mind, you didn’t want to be one of those girls he lay with and never be heard from again.
“Perfect,” he said quietly, his hand on your waist squeezing lightly before he got up to stand at his full height again.
“I could have something ready until the end of next week,” you said and he nodded with a small smile.
“Send word once you're finished, and I’ll make time so we can try them on,” he reached for his coat and cloak.
“Oh you don’t need me to try them on, General. I can just send someone…”
“No. I need you there,” he said and the look he gave you didn’t leave any room for arguments.
“Of course General,” you whispered and nodded. He stepped closer after he had buttoned his coat and you couldn’t stop yourself as your hands reached up to close the last 3 buttons.
“Call me Aleksander…” he whispered, as he leaned down to kiss your forehead. You closed your eyes, feeling him take a step back.
He was gone by the time you opened your eyes again.
You were nervous. Someone had helped you with the garments you had made for General Kirigain, Aleksander, and now you found yourself waiting for him in his chambers. This was highly inappropriate. But not more inappropriate than the thoughts you had of him ever since you saw him last.
The skin on your forehead where he had kissed you seemed to burn every time you thought of him. Which was; all the time. You couldn’t get him out of your head. You had never felt this way. This aroused at only the thought of someone. Maybe this had something to do with his powers.
The door behind you opened and you turned around.
“I was hoping you would be here when I finished,” he said as he closed the door behind him. You felt the nervous flutter in your belly as he walked towards you, shedding of his thick coat.
“You send word, so here I am,” you said and he raised an eyebrow at you.
“It’s that easy?” he asked and you knew he was teasing.
“Sometimes,” you teased back with a small smile and he smiled back.
“Will you show me what you made for me?” he asked. You only nodded before you turned from him to walk over to his bed where all the garments were spread out.
“I made two coats, a cloak and some pants for you to wear,” you explained and you felt him behind you, not close enough to touch but to feel his warmth as he leaned over your back, looking down.
“You did all of this in 9 days?” he asked and you nodded.
“I’ve already had some sketches. I don’t get to work with black fabric a lot…”
“They’re beautiful. Let me try them on,” he said as he stepped away to pick up one of the coats. He was standing there in only his pants and dark undershirt and this time you didn’t look away as he put the coat on, running his big hands over the fabric.
“All this measuring seems to have paid off,” he teased as he turned around to look at himself in the mirror. He looked regal. The silver ornaments you had used for the shoulders shimmering in the candle light.
He turned towards you as you looked up at him and you didn’t know why you felt so brave but you reached up to run your fingers over his cheek. He leaned into your touch and stepped closer, his chest touching yours. You didn’t know how long you just looked at each other before he bent down, still giving you time to decline before his lips brushed over yours. You closed your eyes, enjoying the feel of his lips on yours before he parted from you. You opened your eyes, your lips still tingling as you felt his hands framing your face before he kissed you again. You sighed, getting on your tiptoes to get closer as he kissed you like a dying man. You wrapped your arms around his neck, one of your hands wandering into his hair. His tongue licked over your lips and you parted them for him, moaning against him as his tongue danced with yours. You felt his hands leave your face only for them to run down your back to pick you up. You crossed your legs behind him, clinging to him as he walked towards his bed, sitting down with you in his lap without his lips parting from yours.
You were out of breath, your insides throbbing and feeling a little light headed. He parted from your lips, his forehead resting against your as he brushed his nose against yours.
“I’ve been wanting to do that since the first time I saw you,” he confessed and you couldn’t help but smile. You shifted your weight on his lap, rolling your hips a little as you felt his hardened length beneath you. He groaned, his hands running down your back, grabbing a handful of your ass to push you closer against him.
“Keep doing that and I won’t be able to stop,” he warned. You bit your lower lip, not stopping your movements and he looked at you with hungry eyes.
“Maybe I don’t want you to stop, General,” you teased.
“I told you to call me Aleksander,” he groaned, thrusting up and you gasped.
“Make me,” you grinned, shrieking when you found yourself beneath him as he turned you on the bed so you were under him, his eyes dark and dangerous.
“Hands over your head until I say otherwise,” he said, leaving no room for argument.
“Yes General,” you teased and he chuckled, shaking his head as he leaned down to kiss you again. You parted your legs to make space for him as he began to kiss down your jaw, kissing down your neck, sucking lightly on the skin of your throat before you felt him undo the laces of the blouse you were wearing, kissing down your collarbone and the top of your breasts. You were breathing hard, anticipating his lips as he pushed your blouse open.
“Beautiful,” he whispered before he softly kissed your breasts, closing his mouth around one of your nipples. You fought the urge to touch him, keeping your hands over your head as you arched your back.
You felt him smile against your skin as his tongue flicked over your nipple making you bite your lip to keep yourself from crying out.
“I want to hear you,” he whispered before his lips wandered to your other breast. This time you moaned as he sucked harshly on your nipple. He kissed down your stomach, and you squirmed beneath him as he looked up at you, his eyes asking for permission. You bit your lip, nodding weakly as his finger hooked into your skirt and undergarments, pulling them down your knees, letting them fall to the ground. You were almost completely naked while he was still fully dressed, but you couldn’t bring himself to care. If how he touched you until now was any indication of what was about to come you would gladly stay like this forever.
His eyes seemed to eat you alive, focusing on your glistening cunt as he licked his lips. Only one man had ever gone down on you. Somehow you were sure you wouldn’t even remember the man's name, once the General was finished with you. He got off the bed, taking the coat and his shirt off.
You sighed.
“I really want to touch you,” you confessed.
“Soon, my dove,” he smiled and got down, slowly kissing up your leg. His beard added to the sensation of his lips and you positively lost your mind as he sucked on the skin of your inner thigh, marking you as his.
He teased you, his lips softly running over your folds but not really doing anything. You groaned, looking down at his amused eyes as his tongue dared out, licking one strip through your folds. He moaned at your taste, kissing your cunt before he lightly sucked on your clit.
“Heavens…” you cried out, your fingers buried in the soft covers of his bed as he buried his tongue inside of your cunt, his nose brushing over your clit.
“I want you to cum for me…” he whispered.
His tongue was back on your clit but you felt his fingers at your entrance, slowly pushing two in. You had never felt like this. You cried out when he angled his fingers inside of you, his mouth still sucking, nibbling, driving you insane.
“Come on, cum for me,” he demanded lowly and you came with a cry, your limbs shaking as you rode the wave of pure bliss he had just granted you. Out of breath you closed your eyes, trying to come down from your high when you felt his fingers leave your core. You opened your eyes, only finding him licking off your juices from his fingers and you could cum just from the sight of him again.
“Even more beautiful than I imagined,” he said and you found yourself chuckling, making him smile.
“I think you hit your head down there…” you teased and he rolled his eyes. The man on top of you was so different to how you imagined him to be and you had to be careful not to fall for him.
“I think it’s time for you to fuck me General,” you said biting your lip and he looked down at you with a raised eyebrow.
“Still not saying my name. We can’t have that…” he pushed his pants down and you held his gaze until you couldn’t take it anymore and looked down. And you couldn’t hold back the low moan at seeing his already leaking cock, wanting nothing more than to run your tongue over it.
He settled between your legs before you could make any attempt to suck his cock, his arms resting next to either side of your head as he leaned down to kiss you.
“You can touch me when you say my name,” he whispered against your lips as you felt him line up and slowly enter you, the stretch of his length making you moan quietly. He watched you, his face above yours. He was moving slowly, biting his lip as he thrusted slowly until his whole length was buried inside of your tight cunt.
“Say it…” he groaned and even though you wanted nothing more than to touch him, you also wanted to tease him some more. Maybe you could even make The Darkling beg for you. A thought that made you clench around him and he cursed.
“You have to do better than that, General,” you grinned and his eyes seemed to darken.
“Careful what you wish for, Dove.”
“Don’t be gentle,” you whispered as you tilted your head up to kiss his lips and he growled, biting into your lower lip as you felt him bottom out to thrust back in. Hard.
“Say it…” he groaned, his head falling down, his lips brushing against your ear and you cried out as he fucked into you. Slow but hard, letting you feel every ridge and vein of his cock. You wanted to touch him, to run your nails down his back, marking him so as yours even though you had no claim on him.
He sucked on your neck, his chest on yours, his weight almost crushing you. You hooked your legs around his behind, wanting him closer.
“Fuck me Aleksander…” you whispered against his ear as your arms came around him, your fingers running down his back and he growled, pumping into you faster, the sound of skin against skin filling the room. You were so close, you didn’t know where you ended and he began.
“I can feel you squeezing me. Cum. Cum for me…” he said lowly, thrusting hard and you shattered around him, your fingers digging into his back as you came. Hard. While he fucked you through your orgasm.
He moaned against your shoulder, his moves getting sloppier until you felt him pull out, his weight leaving yours as he spilled his seed over your stomach, moaning your name lowly. You looked up at him, a work of art as he tried to get his breathing back to normal, his eyes closed. You looked at the mess he made on you, waiting for him to open his eyes as you gathered some of his cum on your fingers, bringing it up to your lips to suck on it.
“Fuck…” he groaned, watching you with dark eyes.
You smiled, sucking on your fingers.
“Already tired, General?” you grinned, shrieking with laughter when he began to tickle you.

Oh man, what a tumultuous time to contract Star Wars brainrot! After recovering from a major case of Arcane addiction, BoBF seemed like a good time after how much I had enjoyed The Mandalorian. Now I'm in this surreal situation where the past two weeks have been The Mandalorian Season 2.5 with enough cameos to make a fanfic author blush. To the credit of this week's episode though, I have FALLEN for Cad Bane and must do myself the justice of experiencing him properly in The Clone Wars!
My god I wrote you a super long, super detailed answer with tons of links and gifs and shit and then firefox just hiccuped and I lost everything, including my will to live.
Siiiigh.
Anyway, the short of it is: if you fell for Bane as he is in Bobf, looking like a putty model of an overly flossed fucked up child of the Mouth of Mordor and Nosferatu, then you're in big trouble, because his Clone Wars and Bad Batch appearances are SO fucking good.
King is not even the same character. Ahem, I mean, he actually has a personality in those, he's not a cameo. Since he's not one of the mainline villains, he's also allowed to succeed, making him one of the most efficient baddies in the series. He's a fun loving guy too, even if his definition of fun is to commit crimes and earn good credits... He's genuinely living his best life, smiles and laughs often, acts like a grumpy blue Clint Eastwood... I love him.
And wait until you meet Todo 360, his sassy little short king of a droid, totally not a buttler droid!
Anyway, this wasn't Bane... I refuse. I close my eyes. Where's his hat? Is the hat safe? Is the hat OK? You know, the large hat he literally kills someone for? Where's his toothpick? Where's his attitude? Why is he acting like he's some feather ruffled Pyke? Why is he walking out of the desert? Why is the most expensive bounty hunter in the galaxy being paid to intimidate a bunch of miners in a settlement that isn't even on planetary maps, on a shit-hole planet, where no one even recognises him? Why??
Well, once you're done getting in touch with your inner alien-lover, let me offer you these recs :
This fic by @ashcroft-writes is a Bane/Kenobi fic, but don't run away, it's actually a true galaxy brain pairing. The writing is fantastic, the smut is stellar, but the characterisation, the plot? The worldbuilding???
You come in for Bane smut and snaz, you stay for the incredible story. Like, this fic will cleanse your skin and water your crops. I can't stress this enough. It's something else. It has politics, banter, inner turmoil, action... Did I mention the smut?? Urghhm
This link goes to all 7 of my fics featuring Cad Bane. I had made you little summaries with hyperlinks in them for all of them, to explain better but... I don't have the energy to go over this again and risk getting shafted by the evil gods of technology once more.
In I'll make It Worth Your While (which you can read fandom blind) Cad adopts a kid. She features as an adult in a lot of later stories, either a side character (Cross Over My Heart, A Single Slice of Lemon Cake, and I'll Give You A Reward) or as a main PoV character (In Odd Company).
@spicedrobot also recently tripped and fell face first into the Cad Bane mania, and I totally didn't have my foot out. Very much looking forward to what arises from that tumble ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
Whatever you do, don't miss out on reading the Darth maul comics (and DM me if you want them for zero credits). They're an excellent self contained story, and feature a ton of Cad Bane being... Cad Bane and like
you know
Parting thoughts : I can't believe you claim to have recovered from Arcane addiction. Seriously, what's the trick? I'm still crying in my corner trying to think of other things and getting whipped by my Muse. It's Silco or die in here. You're probably healthier than I am I guess lol

IAD Hero Power Rankings: Part III
Another Wroth brother joins the fray, and while he is extremely hot, I can't say that he quite tops Conrad and Bowen for me. He does, however, top Myst. A lot.
Conrad Wroth, vampire, Dark Needs at Night’s Edge
Pros:
–exceedingly good at removing obstacles between him and what he wants
–a virgin and SUPER embarrassed about it in a way that is INCREDIBLY precious (when he finally fucked this woman and went "So I was good?" I almost fucking wept)
–murder puppy only wants death and blood (until he discovers………… other things)
–a natural born dirty talker
–BABY BOY…. BABY BOY…./EVIL
Cons:
–has erectile dysfunction for a significant part of his book, he gets better but I was so sad for him
–I mean, is fully insane and wants to murder his entire family, but nobody’s perfect and Nikolai kinda deserves it
--wears sunglasses indoors
--got aroused while buying underwear for her and had to limp home
--made Bowen MacRrieve sad and that makes me really upset because I love Bowen MacRieve
2. Bowen MacRieve, werewolf, Wicked Deeds on a Winter’s Night
Pros:
–is a werewolf general
–was celibate for 1200 years after his lover got so scared of his wolf form that she gored herself on a tree stump (lmao)
–spent those 1200 years trying to bring her back to life
–great at catching and preparing seafood
–breeding kink (wants to put all the bairns in Mariketa)
–kinda into bondage…?
–gets hard at the thought of Mariketa’s carnage, even when he is the carnage
--update pro: gets sent to a party by himself so that Mariketa can run an errand and just sits there confused and miserable at the bar by himself waiting for her to show up even though he knows people there; I imagine this is much like that SNL skit about a dog park for boyfriends, where the shy boyfriend hides under a picnic table
Cons:
–kind of a fuckboy (will say his dead lover’s name when he comes, ONE TIME, but “Mariketa” and “Mariah” begin similarly so)
–doesn’t like it when Mariketa chant incantations into her mirror because it creeps him out
–breeding kink (casually tries to get her to stop taking birth control)
–makes fun of Mariketa’s vibrator, even if I found that actually hilarious
3. Nikolai Wroth, vampire, The Warlord Wants Forever
Pros:
--deeply efficient and good at his job (being a bloodthirsty warlord), which turns his mate on as much as it should literally everyone else
--scars all over
--very family-oriented, which means he's extreeeeemely daddy, and very much uses that in the bedroom
--will try to make nice with your bitchy sisters for you
--is receptive to therapy, even if the therapist was his beaten and bruised brother whose advice was basically "do better"
Cons:
--did steal Myst's chain and used it to make her come on command; which, while I liked it, was very much non-consensual
--insecure about Myst's history as the greatest femme fatale of the last couple millennia (though he gets better and decides to be a sex-positive feminist)
--that time that he turned his little brothers into vampires against their will
--was so down bad that he literally started to waste away when Myst didn't let him get off for five years
--does not properly heat his manor
4. Lachlain MacRieve, werewolf, A Hunger Like No Other
Pros:
–chewed his own leg off to get to Emma
–actually pretty good at being the werewolf king (saves Bowen from his own stupidity multiple times, much daddy, very authoritative)
–saw Emma kill her own dad and basically swooned
–is absolutely down to get his blood sucked… through his penis (I believe he says that’s the only way he’ll accept BJs now…?)
–honestly very apologetic once he calms down from being completely insane (and burning underground for 150 years… will do that)
Cons:
–I mean yes Lachlain is one of the rape-iest IAD heroes even if most of that was werewolf instinct
–doesn’t know how to use an iPod
–but will max out your credit cards
5. Sebastian Wroth, vampire, No Rest for the Wicked
Pros:
–basically a virgin when he meets Kaderin
–Gentleman in the Streets Freak in That Random Nightclub Where He SNAPS
–joined the mile high club remarkably fast
–throws out all his principles for her
–Speaks Like Dracula but in a “I vant to suck your clit” way
Cons:
–borderline beta, or as beta as a murderous centuries old vampire warlord can be
–a little tooooo accommodating of Kaderin’s bullshit
–could have been more demanding, to be honest (Bowen and Lachlain would noooot have been as patient as he was, which some would like but I was a little weary of)
#romance novel blogging#that entire book is just freezing on nikolai wroth during a series of bad decisions#like 'you're probably wondering how i got here'#immortals after dark

Unexpected Places (Pt. 04 of 11)
Pairing: Ivar the Boneless X Reader/Bjorn X Reader
Word count: 3 K
Summary: As a princess, you've lived in a golden cage all your life, always a piece on someone else's game. But everything changed when the Norsemen came crushing down on Wessex, like waves in a violent storm. Their king spared your life and decided to take you with him to his kingdom, in what felt more like a rescue than a kidnapping. There, you were not only confronted with a completely different culture and lifestyle, but also with two of his sons. The oldest one has his eyes set on you, but it's the youngest one, Ivar, who gets who claimed your attention since the first sight. And he seems to have an unnamed interest in you. Of course you hoped whatever that was would pass, but when unexpected feelings start to flow a different way, things begin to change.

Next part (05) ->

Fit For a Princess
You're listening to the chattering between Aslaug and Helga, looking at pieces of jewelry at the market place. You say something every now and then, but you can't shake away Ivar's stare. On the last days, two weeks or so, he's right there, sitting across from you on every meal, eyes burning through you. Hvitserk said he's studying you, still expecting you to snap, to decide you had enough of all this and want to go back home. To Wessex, where your older brother now rules. And Ragnar already said he'd take you back if you wanted, so there's that.
But leaving Kattegat hasn't even crossed your mind, not before and not now. How could you trade all you have here, and slide back into the invisible chains you had on? It wouldn't be just stupid, it would be the death of you. You're finally understanding who you are, the things you like, the kind of people you like. In England, you had to play a specific role, because everything was political. Here, you're just who you are. And you do what you want to do. This is true freedom.
“I really like this one,” Helga says, as your eyes wander through the many rings, earrings, and necklaces. “I'd like those two as well.” She continues as you pace around, further away from both women, turning the corner and then walking to another store. The pieces they have here are all made of metal, delicately bent into beautiful shapes. You caress a bracelet with the tip of your fingers, wondering if it'd look good on you.
“Don't waste your time with these cheap things.” The voice, that you now recognize immediately, makes you turn around. Ivar comes from among the people, only stopping when he's standing next to you.
But despite his attention being on the jewelry, your eyes are on him. “You're tall.” It comes out suddenly, because he never stood beside you like this, so you couldn't have noticed.
“Well, you're tiny.” Ivar glances at you, playing with one of the rings. “Anyway, you shouldn't be looking at these things. They won't suit you very well.”
Giving the old man an apologetic look, you randomly pick a bracelet. You don't get why Ivar is being rude, but, judging by what Hvitserk had told you, his brother isn't one to hold back. He says what he thinks, it doesn't matter how mean it may sound to others. You're still trying to figure out if this level of brutal honesty is good or bad. “I really like this one.” Searching on the small bag attached to your dress, you take four coins, way more than what the bracelet is worth, handing it over to the man and putting the bracelet on. The silver color is beautiful, and the drawings carved on it remind you of the pattern you saw on one of the boats that brought you here.
Ivar rolls his eyes exaggeratedly, sighing. “You are such a kind princess.” Dropping the ring, he starts walking side by side with you when you set in motion through the market. You weren't expecting that.
“King Ecbert was king of Wessex. This isn't Wessex.”
“(Y/N)! Wait for us.” Aslaug calls and you stop, giving her a look and a nod before turning to face Ivar, who towers over you.
“Therefore, I'm not a princess anymore.” Shrugging your shoulders, you give him a small smile.
“That's a shame, isn't it?” He lowers his voice, leaning closer.
“Not really.” Shrugging your shoulders, you give a little step back, putting a strand of hair behind your ears before giving him a little wave, walking back to where both women are.
After they're done shopping, as you walk back home, the clouds push themselves apart just enough for the sunlight to appear. That makes you stop, taking in the warmth on your skin, but it soon disappears.
“Hey, (Y/N),” Hvitserk calls, coming from the beach with his father, Ubbe and Bjorn, who's walking behind them. “We're going to meet some traders. Wanna come?”
“Why not?” You mumble, elbowing Hvitserk when he's close enough.
“Go put on some pants then. We're riding there.”
“Oh.” It's so absurd it's stupid, how you can't seem to do the simple things people know by heart here. “I'm not very good at riding.” Whispering, you tell him, not wanting anyone else to listen.
“I'll help you out.” He nods, tilting his head to where Bjorn is. “Without cracking your head open in the process.”
Smiling you nod before heading inside to change out of the dress. You're just about to head out when Aslaug tells you to grab a cloak in case it rains later, so you have to make another trip to your room. But soon enough you meet Hvitserk and the others again, reading the horses.
“Which one is mine?”
“Over here.” Hviserk guides to a beautiful white horse. “Give me your leg.” He says, and for a moment you furrow your eyebrows, but soon enough you understand what he means. Raising your leg, Hvitserk grabs your calf and you push yourself up, successfully mounting on the horse with his help. It feels funny to be this tall. You have ridden before, but most of the time you used a carriage. There was no need for a princess to ride on the back of a horse at Wessex. It's wild though, and you've grown to love wild things. “Keep your feet like this on the stirrups at all times. Don't put of your feet all the way in or it might get stuck if you fall. If you touch her with your ankles, she'll move forward. Pull the halters and she'll stop. The same thing goes to pull her left or right, but since we'll ride together she'll just follow the other horses.”
“Got it.”
“Your ass might hurt at the end of the day, so be prepared.” He warns before jumping to the back of his horse. “If it'll help you feel more steady, you can hold on the saddle, but trust me, you'll get the hang of it once you lose the fear of falling.”
“Have you ever fallen from a horse before?” As you speak, the small group starts moving, and your mare does the same, keeping their pace, slow at first until everyone starts galloping, and all air leaves your lungs. You hold tightly to the saddle, scared at first, but you remember what Hvitserk just told you. If you let the fear of falling win, you'll never learn to ride properly, and you'll never enjoy it. Slowly, you let go of the saddle, holding only on the halters, making sure it's loose so she'll feel free to run.
And the sensation is amazing. The wind makes your hair whip your face over and over, and you lightly shake your head to get rid of it. Glancing at Hvitserk, you mirror his position, a smile creeping over your lips. The landscape, green, blue, and gray, passes by in a blur, and you try to take it all in. It's beautiful, breathtaking. Almost literally, because when you finally stop, you're struggling to catch your breath.
“You ok?”
“Yeah.” You answer, and Hvitserk nods before moving to stand next to his father and brother. You see a small troop approaching, riding up the hill.
“You're quite good at this,” Bjorn says, guiding his horse away from his siblings and near you. “A few more lessons you'll be riding like a true Viking.”
“I really like it. Its... Thrilling.” You're finally calming down, and your thighs ache a little bit.
“Wanna see the traders coming?” Turning his horse around, he gestures at a cliff, not too many miles away. “We could go up there, it'll give us a nice view.”
“Isn't it a little high?”
“The horses are used to it. C'mon.” Without waiting for your answer, he starts galloping away.
Glancing at Hvitserk, you hold the halter tightly to keep the mare from moving. “You think I should?”
“Sure, it has a nice view. But if you feel like the trail there is too much you come back here, alright? The horses are used to it but you're not.”
“Alright.” Touching the mare with your ankles, you loose the halter and she immediately moves, following Bjorn's horse. It doesn't take much until you're deep inside the woods, the horses now trotting. Bjorn keeps silent, giving you a few glances since you're slightly behind him.
“That way.” He says, and you just let your ride follow his. The smooth ground soon starts changing, with more rocks, and becomes unravel. When you see a steep slope, with apparently nothing to hold on to, you pull the halters, making the mare stop.
“I think it's too craggy.” You speak up, getting Bjorn's attention. “I don't want to fall on my first try.”
“She's used to this kind of inclination. You'll be fine.”
Considering it and also what Hvitserk said, you decide to leave the cliff viewing for another day, when you feel more secure on the horse. “I think I'll pass, Bjorn. Maybe another cliff where I can go on foot.”
“Don't be a pussy. It's not that craggy.” Then, he kicks his horse hard and it sets in motion. It doesn't surprise you, but when the mare moves as well, following him, you're startled, and in the sudden change, you let the halter fall.
Holding on the sell, you can only watch as Bjorn's horse easily climbs the slope, at a fast pace, and yours do the same. But when it suddenly turns left, around a huge rock, you lose your balance, and since there's nothing to hold on to, both your feet escape the stirrups, and you're pulled to the ground hard. Losing your breath, a sting on your ankle makes you yelp as you roll down the slope, only stopping once the ground is flat again. Rolling on your back, you take deep breaths, trying not to move the left leg since the pain is spreading through your foot and calf. “Damn it!” You exclaim, removing the hair from your face.
“(Y/N)!” It takes only a few seconds until you see Bjorn kneeling by your side. “Are you alright?”
“I just fell from a horse and rolled down a hill!” You speak fast, the pain on your back making itself aware. “Of course I'm not fine!”
“Let me take you–” He says as he starts to pull you up.
“No.” You cut him off, slapping his hands away. Bjorn has done enough for today. If he wasn't trying to be a freaking show-off, this wouldn't have happened. “Go get–”
“(Y/N)?” You hear his voice and breathes out relief. “I heard a yell.”
“Over here. Lying on the ground.” Annoyed, you cover your eyes with both hands. “Can you please see if my ankle is broken?”
“What happened?” He asks in a low voice, and you uncover your eyes to see him jumping to the ground, kneeling next to your stretched out leg.
“Bjorn made his horse bolt up the slope and mine followed.” You explain, giving him a hard glance, groaning when Hvitserk lifts your leg to remove your boot. “Easy there!”
“Sorry.” He mumbles. “But calm down, it's not broken, just sprained.”
“Shit.” Taking a deep breath, you sit up taking off the other boot as well and throwing it at Bjorn. “You can't keep yourself from getting me hurt, can you?”
“Me? Everything you had to do was hold on. The horse–”
“I'm not a Viking!” Bursting out, you look up at him. “I'm not some shieldmaiden, I'm still trying to fit in here and learn things. You can't expect me to follow your pace.”
“I just–”
“Bjorn, you should get back. Help father with the traders, I'll take her back to Kattegat.” Hvitserk interrupts him, and Bjorn leaves after a grunt, saying something you couldn't understand.
“And he thinks he has the right to be pissed!” Lying back down, you groan. “I think this is a sign to stay away from him. Every time he's in the situation, I get hurt.”
“Alright, c'mon.” Hvitserk pulls your arm until you're seated again. “You need to put some ice on this ankle, let's go.” Hvitserk takes your mare first, tying her up with his horse before mounting and pulling you up to ride with him.
Despite the slow pace he keeps, your back still hurts. Resting your head on his back, you sigh. “Why are you so quiet?” You ask after a while.
“I'm thinking about the right words to tell this to mother. She won't be happy.” He answers, a hand resting on his thigh as the other holds the halter. “She's not very fond of Bjorn already.”
“It was partially my fault too, I think. I let the halter slip and had nothing to hold on to.”
“You're know Bjorn likes you, right?” Hvitserk suddenly says, and you pinch your eyebrows together. This thought hasn't crossed your mind. “That's probably why he did that. That's how he... Gets a woman's attention.”
“Would you do the kindness of telling him it's not working?” Muttering, you rest both your arms on his back folding them as if his shoulders were a table. “Actually, I've been meaning to tell you... I met Ivar at the market place today.”
“...And?” He asks after a few seconds of silence.
“Nothing, just... It was nothing, really.” It's hard to understand exactly what you want to tell Hvitserk. You just can't seem to put your feelings or thoughts together. “I was looking at these things and he said they wouldn't suit me.” Stretching out your arm, you show him the bracelet. “I bought this there.”
“That's nice. But cheap.” Rolling your eyes, you remember Ivar said pretty much the same thing.
“He also said I'm kind. But that was probably in a mocking tone, so...” You get into Kattegat, and Hvitserk greets some people. “I don't know.”
“I believe it's safe to assume Ivar doesn't hate you.” Hvitserk slows down the horse when a group of kids run by. “If he did, he wouldn't put himself on your way like that... Or look at you the way he does.”
“And how does he look at me?” The words come out slowly because you're not sure if you want to know.
“The only thing I can say for sure is that he never looked at a woman like that.” You finally get to Ragnar's house, and Hvitserk asks a man to help you down. Once you're safe on the ground, he jumps off, telling the man to take the horses. “And I mean it in a good way.”
He puts a hand around your waist, helping as you jump on the right foot until the table in the main hall. “Do you think he–”
“What happened this time?” Aslaug asks, her voice already giving out that she's not happy.
“Twisted ankle. She fell from the horse.”
“Take her to her room, Hvitserk.” The Queen mutters, saying something to the girls who were following her. “And carry her this time if that isn't too much to ask.”
“Alright.” He replies, picking you up with a hand on the small of your back and another under your legs, quickly finding the way to your chambers.
Giggling, you give him a look “I love when your mother–”
“Careful with the teasing this time. I might just drop you to the floor and I don't care if your a princess who fell off a horse.” The fake angry tone makes you laugh again.
“My bad, Prince Hvitserk.” You snap back, rolling your eyes.
Aslaug has her maids help you bathe first, cleaning the dirt that is attached to your face and hair before lying you on the bed again and applying a piece of fabric with cold water on your ankle, keeping it elevated with some pillows. She isn't happy to know the whole story, despite you assuring her it's alright now. You could've died, she said, breaking your neck. But it's useless to worry about what could've happened. The best thing to do now is to focus on the ankle, which she said will be better in a few days, and let the whole incident go.
Later that night, you give little jumps to the main hall to eat something. It's just Ubbe and Bjorn, seated on a table at the corner. Nodding at them, not wanting to chat with Bjorn at the moment, you sit at the edge of the table in the middle, your back turned at both men, taking the jar and pouring yourself something to drink.
“How's your ankle?” Ubbe asks, and you look over your shoulder.
“It's fine. I'll be able to walk normally in a few days. But my back still hurts.” Completely ignoring Bjorn's existence, you turn away from them again.
Drumming your fingers on the table, you wait for the Queen's maids to bring your meal. When you feel someone moving behind your back, you assume it's them, and place your cup further away to open some space. But instead of the bowl with rabbit stew, a necklace is put down before you. And it's absolutely beautiful, with three blue stones surrounded by a golden metal, delicately molded around it. It's different from anything you've ever seen in Wessex. Taking it in your hands, you see Ivar dropping to the seat next to you, and you turn to look at him.
“What is it?” You ask, unable to hide the smile that comes to your lips.
“A necklace.” He simply says, and you roll your eyes at his tone. What a way to ruin the mood.
“Yeah, I noticed.” The smile slowly drops as your eyes go back to the piece, fingertips caressing one of the stones.
“This was made for a princess. Not those cheap things.” He gestures at your bracelet, and you giggle.
“Well, this is absolutely beautiful.” Glancing at him, you find he was already staring. “Is it for me?” You inquire in a lower voice, not wanting to make any assumptions that might embarrass you.
Ivar nods, lightly pushing your shoulder. “Turn around. Let me put it on.”
Doing as he says, you turn your back at him. Ivar takes the necklace and places it around your neck, and you hold your hair up so he can close it on the back. Once he's done, you let the hair fall before turning to face him, folding your left leg and carefully laying the wounded ankle on the bench between you and Ivar. “How does it look?”
You wait for an answer, but it doesn't come. Ivar's eyes were fixed on the necklace, but slowly, they come to meet yours. Tilting your head to the side a little, you feel heat spreading through your cheeks.
Shaking your head lightly and looking down, you take a deep breath. “Have you heard that I fell from a horse this afternoon?” You're glad you got your brain to function, changing the subject. “Twisted my ankle.”
Ivar's stare falls to your bare feet on the bench, the skirt of your dress pulled up to your knee. “Mother told me it was someone else's doing.” As he speaks, Ivar gives an angry stare at where his two brothers are, and it's obvious who he's looking at. “But I think you'll survive.” You feel his fingers caressing your skin, from your knee and down through your calf, so softly you wonder if he's really touching you.
“I will.” You assure him, biting back a smile.
“Ivar,” Ragnar calls, and it does take a while until you both look at where he's standing, near the thrones. “Your mother wants to speak with you.”
“What now?” He asks, annoyed.
“I don't know. Go ask her.” And he disappears.
“Guess I'll have to go.” He glances at you, grabbing the clutch.
But before he can push himself up, you grab his arm. Perhaps you shouldn't do it. Perhaps this whole thing is just some kind of joke he's pulling on you, but still, the necklace is beautiful and he was... Kind. So you lean closer to him, placing a soft kiss on his cheek. “Thank you for the gift. It's very beautiful.”
Ivar is frozen, even after you let go of his arm. He stands there, blue eyes locked on yours. Slowly, painfully slow, a smile comes to his lips. And it feels different. True, genuine. “You're welcome, princess.” He whispers before pushing himself up to his feet and walking away.
You're still a little dazed when the rabbit stew comes, and you can do nothing but play with the spoon. But heavy footsteps get your attention, and when you look at your side, you catch a glimpse of a very angry Bjorn disappearing inside.
He saw everything. And it takes you by surprise to notice that, the moment you laid eyes on Ivar, you immediately forgot Bjorn and Ubbe were here. Everything just... Faded away, and there was nothing else, just you and him. And this is not the first time it happens.

Chapter One Chapter Two Chapter Three Chapter Four Chapter Five
When you had arrived at the palace, an attendant had shown you and Geralt to a wide balcony where lunch had been set up on a table. The Duchess was waiting, drumming her fingers on the table, a look of displeasure marring her face.
You had tried to be respectful and hurry over to the table, but your gaze got caught on the stunning view. From this height, Toussaint stretched out before you, the sun dappled the vineyard covered slopes. The sparkling rivers and lakes dazzled like gems tucked into the green blanket. It was such a contrast to Velen, and you found you couldn't stop staring.
Geralt's hand felt warm on your lower back as he guided you to the table. Your eyes snapped to the Duchess when you found yourself standing before her. A blush crept up your neck, painting your cheeks red. You weren't usually like this. You took in the Duchess and her elegant dress. Her chestnut hair was coiffed with a tiny tiara perched atop her head. You shuffled your feet, feeling underdressed for this meeting. You hadn't had time after being in awe of the city to stop for new boots, so you had to keep wearing your old ones. You were positive that your outfit screamed you had been on the road for many days.
"Duchess Anna Henrietta, this is Younin of Velen." Geralt covered for you. You were never comfortable giving people of great authority your full title as it raised more questions than you were willing to answer. Only a select few outside the Lodge knew your title, and you planned to keep it that way.
"You cannot stay here, Geralt." The Duchess practically growled from her seat across the table. Sitting back, she took a deep breath, fighting to be calm. She clenched and un-clenched her fists, resting her hands on the table. "I'm sorry, Geralt. But you being here has raised too many alarms."
"What alarms?" Geralt took the liberty of sitting in one of the chairs at the table. He gestured for you to sit as well, but didn't take his eyes off the Duchess.
"Word has followed you here from Novigrad." The Duchess aggressively slathered her bread in a pat of butter. Her eyes flicked to you before she turned her full attention back to the Witcher. "The King of Beggars is searching for Younin, and there is a hefty reward for information about her."
Your body jolted at this piece of news. So much had happened since the Vegelbud wedding, and even though you had questions, you thought you were safe in Toussaint while you recovered. Luck did not seem to be on your side, though, if the Duchess's word was to be trusted. At least you knew the news was shocking for Geralt as you watched his knuckles go white as he gripped his armrest tightly.
"Do you know what he wants with me?" Your voice sounded small, and perhaps a little frightened. Since the end of the war, people left you alone for the most part. Certainly no one wanted your head anymore. So what could the King want?
"There was not a lot of information on the wanted poster I saw, but he is willing to pay quite a high price for your whereabouts." The Duchess looked at you, sympathy swirling in her eyes. "So again, you cannot stay here. I love my people, but who knows what one is willing to do when offered that kind of money? People cannot be trusted."
"Very true." You admitted with a nod. You looked down at your hands in your lap, picking at your cuticle. You hated knowing that you were causing trouble simply by being there. "Perhaps I should head back to Velen. Back to the Inn. I can hide there."
"Not an option." Geralt was shaking his head before I had finished. "You don't know that he won't be waiting for you at the Inn, and if I go with you, it would draw attention. If I don't go with you, you will be a sitting duck."
"I'm not powerless." Anger flashed through me. I hated that I was once a powerful sorceress in the Lodge, and now, because I was out of practice, I was seen as weak. I could only imagine how Yennefer saw me now. "What other option do we have right now? We can't hide here, we can't go to Novigrad or Velen. Where am I supposed to go? If the King can reach Toussaint, I have no doubt he can reach Skellige."
"I am sorry to do this to you. I wish Toussaint could hide you." The Duchess sounded genuine as she leaned forward, reaching for you to offer some comfort. "In a land full of knights-errant, you would think we could be trusted to keep a secret, but that is simply not the case."
"I understand." And you really did understand, but it sucked either way. Chewing on the inside of your lip, you mind ran through your vastly dwindling options. Your eyes met Geralt's. "Maybe we should head back to Corvo Bianco, and talk to Yen? She might know where I can hide until we figure out our next move."
"I insist you stay for lunch. It's the least I can do after kicking you out of Toussaint." The Duchess's demeanor changed as she flashed a beautiful smile at both you and Geralt. "After all, I did have the palace chef make this wonderful spread for us."
"We wouldn't want it to go to waste." Geralt gave in much to your surprise. If you had been anywhere else, he would have waved away the request and set off on the quest. Your eyes flicked between the Witcher and the Duchess, trying to figure out what hold she may have on him.
"You can regale me with your recent adventures." The Duchess seemed pleased as she began serving herself from the multitude of platters and dishes spread across the table between you. She paused, a sandwich inches from being placed on her plate. A distressed look flitted across her face. "I hope you haven't come across any vampires."
"None that I couldn't handle." Geralt assured her, placed his hand over her free one.
The gesture seemed innocent enough, but the flare of jealous that ignited in you was anything but. You forced yourself to look away as your magic automatically came to life in your palms. You weren't even sure what element you were drawing, and inviting that chaos into you was dangerous. To distract yourself, you got up from the table and wandered over to the railing. Looking out over the fantastical land seemed to calm you, and you felt you could breathe again.
Dimly, you were aware of Geralt giving a play by play of your journey here. The Duchess was fully enthralled with the fight, adding gasps at all the appropriate spots. If you didn't know any better, you would say she was acting, but looking at her, she seemed genuine.
*************
"So next time we are going to meet with a Duchess, warn me if I need to dress up, please." You whispered as you left the palace. Your horses were waiting at the bottom of the steps to take you back to Corvo Bianco. As beautiful as everything was, you couldn't wait to leave the opulence behind.
"What do you mean?" Geralt's eyes slowly trailed over your body, taking in your outfit. Your cheeks warmed as his gaze felt like a physical touch.
Clearing your throat, you mentally shook yourself. You were glad you had reached the horses, and busied yourself with adjusting the girth. Gathering the reins in one hand, you sprang into the saddle without the help the groom was offering you. It felt good to be back in the saddle again. You had felt extremely out of place in the palace, like your rightful place was on horseback.
"Younin." Geralt's low voice rumbled through the space between you. You knew what he was asking, but didn't know if you could explain in a way the Witcher would understand.
"I just wasn't dressed properly. Toussaint is a far cry from Velen and Novigrad. Even Skellige." You settled for the simplest form of what you were feeling. Geralt may not feel the same about meeting royalty, but you were sure he could at least see where you were coming from. "It just would have been nice to at been dressed like I belonged."
"But you don't belong here." Geralt's words cut through you. Seeing the hurt that flashed in your eyes, he pressed on. "Palaces aren't for people like you and me. If they were, you would still be at court working for a king or queen. You belong out in the world, not sequestered in some stuffy throne room."
His words warmed your heart. Court life had never been for you, that's why you left it behind for a life as an herbalist, pedaling your magic on the side. You offered Geralt a small smile, trying to convey what his words meant to you. The Witcher nodded, turning his horse on to the road out of the palace.
"I'm sorry your idea for hiding out here didn't work out." You wanted to reach for him, to offer him comfort. You had no idea what your next move was going to be. Unless you and Geralt stuck to the Path, and kept moving. But with how the King operated, you figured he would catch up to you eventually.
"Let's worry about getting you new boots before we worry about the King. Nothing can be decided before we get back to Corvo Bianco." Geralt offered you a quick, rare smile. It seemed like he was looking forward to buying you new things, but you knew that couldn't be right. This was Geralt.
"It's my own fault, really. I got so caught up in the wonders of this city, that we ran out of time." You mentally had been kicking yourself about it the whole lunch. On the flip side, you wouldn't have done anything different if given the chance. You adored the sights and sounds of this city, and couldn't wait to relish in them again.
"Come. I know exactly where we will get you boots." Geralt turned his horse down a side street. Up ahead you could hear the clamour of an outdoor market. Light music was playing, and you could hear people singing.
"Where are you taking me? To a fair or to a market?" You jested, but the atmosphere was getting to you again. A smile lit up your face as the music drew you in. The closer you got, the more elated you became.
"In Beauclair, they are one and the same." Geralt flashed you another smile. Something about this place was bringing out a side of him you didn't normally get to see.
When you reached the centre of Hauteville, you found all sorts of upper class citizens mingling about as artists and merchants sold their wares along the side of the street and out of store fronts. Geralt and you tied off your horses near a fountain, and began to wander. So many things caught your eye. You weren't one who normally like jewelry, but the pieces here made even your eye covetous.
"This way." Geralt guided you with a hand on your lower back toward a stain glassed store front. Through the coloured window, you could see shoes and boots on display. "After you."
Geralt pulled the door open for you, but the angle was awkward and you had to duck under his arm. Passing this close to his body only made you realize that it had been so long since you two had had a moment alone that you weren't rushing off somewhere or injured. A heat blazed in Geralt's golden depths, letting you know he was having similar thoughts. You bit your lower lip, trying to squash those thoughts since you were in public.
Once in side, the comforting scent of leather wafted around you. It reminded you of riding across Velen and Toussaint, of the scent Geralt had when he cleaned his armour. Closing your eyes briefly, you took a deep breath, letting the calm it brought wash over you. But then you opened your eyes, taking in all the beautiful footwear surrounding you.
"Are you sure these aren't art?" You gasped, whispering to Geralt. You didn't want to ruin someone's artwork with weeks on the road. Geralt laughed, but before he could say anything, the shop owner came bustling over.
"Ah, I see the lady has an appreciative eye. You humble me, my lady." The shopkeep gave you both a slight bow, a wide smile plastered on his face. If he noticed the state of your clothes and boots, he didn't let on, which you did appreciate.
"I seem to have wrecked my pair of boots, but I don't know if I can buy any of these. They are all too beautiful for what I need." You gestured to the shoes on the display nearest you.
"What is the point of a good shoe if it won't be worn?" The shopkeep waved away your concern, taking your hand in both of his to lead you to a padded stool. "Come. Come. Let me see if we can't find you something you will adore."
Geralt stood behind your shoulder, his arms crossed as he watched the shopkeep bring you pair after pair of shoes and ankle boots. None of them seems quite right to you, though. Every once in a while he would let out a sound you could only describe as a rumble, and you knew he agreed that they weren't the right shoes for you. All the shoes were ridiculously beautiful, but none of them would serve you well on the road.
"Do you have anything in a knee high?" You ventured to ask after turning down what felt like the twentieth pair of shoes. You didn't like feeling like a burden, but with each pair you dismissed, the guilt formed a larger ball in the pit of your stomach.
"Ah! I have just the thing!" The shopkeep announced after thinking for a moment. The elation on his face eased the guilt a bit, and you hoped this pair was going to be it.
Your eyes lit up when he brought you a pair of knee high boots. The leather had been tanned an unique reddish brown. The fur lining let you know that they would be warm, which was perfect for the road, especially up North. You stroked the laces that ran up the whole length of the boot. As beautiful as these boots were, you weren't afraid to wear them on the road.
"They are perfect." Your eyes traced over them again. You watched as the shopkeep undid the laces before handing them to you. You slide your feet into them, tightening the laces. They fit perfectly. "These are the boots."
"How much?" Geralt directed his question to the shopkeep before you could ask. You opened your mouth to protest, but a stern look from Geralt kept you silent.
You looked down at your new boots to hide the blushing smile on your face. A warm feeling stretched out from your chest, filling your limbs all the way to your fingers and toes. It felt strange to have Geralt buy things for you when you were perfectly capable of buying them yourself. It was a nice feeling, but you weren't accustomed to being doted on. You began to think of ways you could pay him back.
"Ready?" Geralt laid a warm hand on your shoulder, grabbing your attention. He shifted his hand off of you so he was offering it to you. You looked up at him as took his hand.
"Absolutely." You grinned as he twined his fingers with yours, leading you out of the shop. You waved over your shoulder to the shopkeep, who was beaming at the both of you. "Thank you for all your help."
"My pleasure, dear." The shopkeep waved as the door closed behind you.
"Well?" Geralt looked down at you, a small genuine smile curving his lips. When you didn't answer, he gestured down to your boots. "What do you think?"
"I adore them." You stood on your tiptoes, steadying yourself with a hand in his shoulder. You leaned in close as he turned his head, his gold eyes searching your face. "Best gift a guy has ever gotten me."
You brought your lips to his, enjoying the brief feel of him. It was a quick kiss, and did not even come close to conveying your feelings. But it would have to do since you were in public. The ride back to the vineyard was going to be long, but you couldn't wait to show him how you truly felt.

Land Or Sea
Part 1
Genre: A giant mix of angst, fluff and spice if you want to call it that?
Pairing: Lee x Ari
Warnings: Mentions of death... I think that's it?
Word Count: ≈6k total
-My twist on The Little Mermaid for the Tell A Fairytale event hosted by @acewriters
“Ari! Wait for me! You know it’s harder for me to swim with my hurt fin!” I hear from behind me. Looking back I see the bright orange hair covering my friends eyes. Brushing it aside, he huffs at me.
“Oh come on, River. Don’t be such a guppy!” I laugh. My younger friend, though he was almost a whole half a tail taller than me, had hurt his fin two weeks ago and though it had gotten a lot better, he was still slower than me.
“Oh hush you or I’m going to tell Mal that you’re going where you're not supposed to be.” I hear him snicker.
“Go right on ahead, then I’ll tell her that you were with me. Let’s see who’s in the dog house then.” I look behind me at his face. Noticing his lips in a tight line and his eyes glaring knives at me, I grin.
“That’s what I thought.” I snicker.
Mal is my best friend and the royal advisor to my father, Triton, the king of the sea. She is so much fun to be around, but let us get caught in a forbidden area and I’d never hear the end of it. River is her boyfriend, so it’d be double trouble for him… Especially with the hurt fin.
We push a little further, finally noticing the sunken ship we’d been looking for.
“There it is, River!” I smile, waving him forward to hurry.
"You know, if we get caught. Your father is going to throw us in the dungeon for a week." He smiles.
"That's why we can't get caught. Duh."
Swimming to the window, I peek inside. "AH!" jump back as an eel slides out. Grasping my chest, I hear River behind me laughing hysterically. Shooting him a look, I slip through the window. He stands guard as I search to see what I can find. Seeing something shine on the floor out of the corner of my eye, I look over to notice a ballerina figurine.
I pick it up, putting it in the bag on my back.
"Ari, come on. The waters are getting darker. We need to get back."
"Just 5 more minutes."
"Ari, now." He said, starting to get agitated.
"5 more minutes Ri!" I plead.
"Ariel! Let's go now!" He demanded.
"Fine!" I grumble, "I swear."
Heading back out of the window, I noticed it had gotten darker. It looked like there was a storm rolling in, but there were no signs of it when we came this way.
"Alright, we need to hurry back." I say, avoiding his 'I told you so' gaze.
Swimming as fast as he could, I tried to help him.
"Okay, this is my bad. We should have left earlier."
"I couldn't have left earlier. Now, let's get moving. Mal is going to have our tails for this."
Right, I’d had to wait on him because he’d wanted to spend time with Mal before she had to go to my father’s council meeting. Those things always lasted forever.
Finally reaching the city, we parted ways and I headed home. Swimming in the door, I notice Mal in the living room.
"We need to talk." She says.
We go up to my room and I place my bag on my desk.
"You missed the meeting today."
"What meeting? I never go- Oh snap! I completely forgot I was supposed to be there today. I'm sorry Mal!" I say, feeling horrid.
"Your father is furious. You may want to apologize to him, not me. I have a feeling someone else is going to be apologizing to me."
"I will… I'm going."
-------------------
Apologizing to my father had been a failure. I'd spent most of the evening trying to apologize. I'm grounded, even though I'm an adult. The joy of being a princess, you never fully escaped.
I'd made my way back to my room after that chaos and collapsed on my bed. Looking out of my window, I see something flickering at the top of the water.
It was distant but I got curious. Swimming closer, I notice it's flames! I swim up. There's pieces of wood and trinkets falling everywhere now, I have to dodge them.
I poke my head above the water and hear men screaming for someone from a lifeboat.
"Lee! Lee? Where are you?" They yell. They look around frantically, but never see me or the man. They head away. I'm assuming giving up hope.
I begin wandering around and looking, pushing pieces out of my way.
I happen to notice him stuck on a piece of wood drifting off in the opposite direction. He had been hit by something, knocking him out and had a cut on his head.
"Oh! Wait!" But they were already too far gone. I decide to take him myself. I grab the wood and push him in the direction of the beach a few miles away. It wasn't easy but I managed. He weighed more than he looked and I'm not huge myself, but I finally made it to shore. The sun was coming up now. The only thing I could do was drag him off the wood and onto what little sand I could get to.
He was beautiful. Brown hair that was fluffy after it had dried on the way here, sharp features and a small scar on his left side of his face.
He groaned.
Oh no… I start to head back to the water.
His eyes flutter open and look directly at me, his brown eyes shining in the morning sun, "You saved me."
"I did. If not you would have drowned. Now, I have to leave. I'm sorry."
"Wait!"
It was too late, I was already in the water and swimming home.
Wow. A human. A man. A gorgeous one at that…
I make my way into my bedroom window and get under my blankets, hoping nobody noticed I was missing.
"Where have you been?" I hear from the corner of my room. I jump and look over.
"River! You can't do that to someone!"
"Answer the question, Ari."
"I took a swim. Now I'm going back to sleep."
"Yeah okay. If you say so." He swims out of the window, agitated and I lay there daydreaming of the man I saved.
The next few days that passed, all I could see was his face. I want to see him again. I will. I'll go and see him tonight! I manage to keep my excitement down to a minimum, only River and Mal notice. Which is normal because I spend a lot of time with them.
I go to bed early, and sneak out. Swimming until I arrive at the beach where I'd left him. He was walking along it. His brown hair straight, in a white sweater and slacks. He was holding his shoes as he walked, feeling the sand on his feet. I wish I could do that.
He looks my way and I hide behind a rock.
"Hello? I saw you! Please don't be shy!"
"I'm sorry! I'm not supposed to be here! It's forbidden!" I yell to him from behind the rock.
"But you saved me."
"I did and I'd do it again."
"At least tell me your name."
"I'm sorry, I have to go."
"Please!"
I'd gone under before I could say more. I feel bad about leaving him standing there so I decide to go back there tonight to see if he was there. Lo’ and behold, he was. I decide to swim close enough so he could see me.
“What’s your name?” Lee asks, wide brown eyes looking in my direction, as if he’s not believing what he’s seeing.
“Why should I tell you? So you can tell all your friends of my existence and they can hunt me down?” I say.
“No! Of course not! I’m in awe… I want to thank the woman that saved my life, properly.” My mouth opens in shock as he continues, “I saw a glimpse of you last time, I just want to know your name to match your face. Which is much more beautiful up close, if I may say.”
“Ariel.”
“Ariel? Well, it’s so nice to meet you Ariel. Thank you for risking your life to save mine.” He smiles.
“Ari.” I say, smiling, “Call me Ari.”
I went back the next few nights, singing to signal him that I’d arrived, I waited for him to come out. He hears me and comes out, smiling, coming to sit on the rock at our meeting spot. We talk until he’s so tired he couldn’t keep his eyes open and I had to tell him I’d come back tomorrow because I need to get back before my father wakes. We continued this for a few weeks and I grew to love talking to him. He was funny and handsome and I became comfortable with him. He’s the first human to see me, the first human I felt a connection to.
I couldn’t hide my happiness any longer, I had to tell someone. I knock on Mal’s door, after returning from my visit with Lee, so it was around 6 a.m. River answers, with a strange look on his face.
“What are you doing here so early and why are you so smiley?” He asks.
“I need to talk to your girlfriend.”
“Alright, come in.” He says, moving aside so I can slip by, “she’s in the bedroom still.”
“Okay, thank you.”
Opening their bedroom door, I see Mal laying in bed, reading. She’s normally up and ready for work by now.
“Hey. You’re here early this morning.” She chuckles, closing her book.
“Yes, I am. I haven’t been to bed yet,” My smile fades, worrying about her. “Are you okay? Normally you are about to come to the palace. You’ve felt sick for a few weeks lately.”
“I’m fine, I just needed a day off. I was grateful your father approved,”
“Of course he would! You’re like a daughter to him, not just his advisor. He takes anything that you say seriously. So if you needed a day, he’d do it in a heartbeat.” I smile.
She smiles at me and pats my hand, “You guys and Riv are the only family I have, I’m happy with that. Now tell me, why did you come in here smiling to no end.
“It’s a slightly long story. Do you have time? And remember, this is best friend territory, okay? Completely sworn to secrecy, until death”
“I have all day. Well, as much as needed. I’d like to stay in this bed all day if possible.” She smiles and nods. I chuckle and dive into my story about everything, starting with the shipwreck.
Her face went from mortified that I was being so careless, to understanding. To say she was mad at first, was an understatement…
“Why would you do this, repeatedly, without telling anyone Ariel? Do you know how stupid that was? You could have been hurt!” She panics, causing River to come in and check on her.
“Please, Mal, calm down. Let me explain.” She calms down, but River doesn’t want to leave her side. Mal reassures him she’s fine now and leaves us to finish our talk. She breathes deep a few times and signals me to continue.
I explain what has been going on and the talks Lee and I have had. About how he is an only child, and his parents passed away when he was in school far away. How he’s managing the small kingdom he runs, on his own. I also explain that he’s seen me and that he is the type, like she, to hold that secret until death. She isn’t happy that I showed myself to a human, but she understands taking leaps of faith because Mal and River were never supposed to be together either. Seeing her understand what I’m dealing with and being there for me even though she’s not happy with the situation, I feel tears in my eyes. She’s genuinely happy for me. And her and River’s hopeful love story of forbidden love, leads me into my next dilemma.
I also tell her that I think I love him,,,
She smiles widely, “I always tell you not to do what I’ve done. Seems you one upped me, in that department anyway. You fell for a human, but I have my own secret to tell you.” I smile and laugh. Grabbing the pillow beside her and smacking her with it playfully.
“Someone has to make you look good. What is your secret? Tell me. Tell me.”
She leans forward and whispers in my ear. My eyes get wide and I’m so happy that I could scream. She shushes me and I hold in my excitement.
“Mhmm. Sure. So as your best friend, when are you going back to meet him?”
“Tonight. I really need to get home to sleep for a while.” I laugh looking at the time, 8:43 a.m.
“Yeah, you may want to, in case your dad looks for you this morning.” She laughs.
River knocks on the door and pokes his head in, “May I have my girlfriend back now?”
“Yes, you may. I was just about to leave.” I smile, getting up and giving her a hug, “Thank you for understanding.”
She nods, “Just remember to let me know some way that you’re going. I don’t care if you leave a pebble on my windowsill.”
I laugh but agree and head home, finding my bed and drifting off to sleep within minutes. I wake up to eat before slipping out for the night. I swing by Mal’s and place a pebble I’d painted a yellow smiley face with a blue heart, on her window; smiling I take off to meet Lee.
I began to sing when I went tonight, hoping he'd hear me and appear, yet he didn’t… I decide to wait for him. I'm beginning to worry after a few hours of him not showing...
"He's not here my dear." I hear behind me. Spinning around, I see the sea witch.
"Why? What's going on?"
"He's sick, my dear."
"Sick? Sick how!?"
"He fell ill yesterday morning."
"But that's impossible! I spoke to him just last night!"
"Well, he must have hidden it really well or really wanted to talk to you."
"Oh no. No! I have to get to him. I have to help him."
I need to find a way. I would.
“I'm sorry. I've got to go." I start to go around the witch to get home.
"I can help him."
"What do you mean you can help him?" I ask, cautiously.
"I can fix him for a price."
“What price?” I ask, more nervous this time.
“Give me your voice and I’ll fix him right now.” she demands.
“You could do that?”
“Yes, I could.”
“I- I don’t know if I could do that.”
“Well, if you decide to. Follow the current south from the castle. I assume you know how to get there though.”
I nod and take off home.
I swim as fast as I can and make it back before dawn. Instead of going home, I make a stop at Mal’s. I need to talk to her. Knocking on her door, I realize she may still be asleep, even though she gets up early, it’s still too early for her.
To my surprise, she answers the door…”Ari, what are you doing here? Is everything alright at the castle?” she asks, her eyes growing worrisome.
“At the castle, yes. But, I need your advice as my best friend and not the royal advisor.” I say.
She asks me to come in and I begin telling her everything. River is still asleep, so it’s like old times.
“So, you’re saying that you really love him? Even though you barely know him and may never know him in any other way and you want to help him?” She asks, “And yes, I know you feel like you know him through your talks.”
“Yes. And I know it sounds weird, but I have to.”
“Best friend’s advice only? Don’t go to the witch. She’s mean and cruel. Scope the beach out and make sure she’s not lying. Maybe your father would grant you time on land, if you told him it was to only make sure he was okay?” she suggests.
“Okay, I’ll talk to father when I get home. Thank you, Mal.”
“You’re welcome, Ari. And do me a favor, don’t take River out so far next time. His fin is doing better, but it’s been aching again for the past few days.” She smiles, coming to hug me and send me on my way.
“You got it. Thanks again.” I hug her back and head home.
Father was already awake and in the dining area. I decided to tell him the truth. Even if it meant getting punished.
“You did what?” He demands, getting angry.
“Father, please.” I plead, “I told you what I did and I’ve found out he’s sick. I need to see him and help.”
“You disobeyed me too many times, Ariel. Absolutely not! Why should I even remotely want to do this for you?”
“Because I love him! And I will do this one way or another Father, please. I’m asking for your help, not the help I’ve been offered already, but I will go to her if that’s the only option I have.”
“You think you love him. What other offer?” he says, angrily.
I stand tall, even though my insides are twisting from anxiety, “The sea witch.”
“Ariel, you will do no such thing! She’s a witch and an evil one at that!” He says, getting up from his seat.
“I will father. I may be a princess, but I am also an adult.”
“Ariel…” He says, hurt by my words.
I turn and walk out, hoping he’ll think about it and agree.
“Wait,” he says and I turn around, “I will help you, on one condition.”
“What? Anything, please.”
“I will grant you legs in order to go help him for 2 days and only two. But at the end of the second day, you will come back home. No questions or complaints. You will come back home and resume your duties as princess.”
“Deal.” I say, without hesitation.
With reluctance, even after I promise to come back, my father agrees to take me at the end of the night.
“Ariel, what are you planning on doing?” I hear as I come out of the dining area, where father had been eating breakfast. I look around and see River, arms crossed, looking at me.
“I’m doing what I have to do,” I reply.
“Mal told me. You don’t have to do this. You don’t know this man.”
“I do, River. I really do. Please don’t do this. Mal trusts me, that’s all I’m asking from you.” I say, sadly.
He shakes his head at me. “I hope so.”
He leaves and I get things ready and make some medicine for Lee, hoping it will work better than human medicine. I get completely ready and when I finish, I decide to nap.
“Ariel, wake up.” I hear and I shift in my bed.
“Ariel.” I hear again, opening my eyes slowly.
“What is it father?” I ask.
“Are you still wanting to go?” He asks. I jump up and grab my bag and the dress I was planning to wear.
“I’m ready.” I say, in a serious tone.
He smiles, “You really are willing to do this?
“It’s the easiest decision of my life, Father.” I smile at him.
“You really are your mother’s daughter. The most like her out of you and your sisters.”
I feel tears sting my eyes. My mother had fallen ill after she had me and passed. I never knew her like my 4 sisters did and always wondered. I hug my father tightly, happy to hear what he told me.
“Now, come Ariel, let’s get this done.”
I nod and we set out for the beach where I had met Lee on many nights and talked until early morning. We swim for a while, not bothered by the silence between us. Once we get there, I speak first, “This is it, What do I do now?” I ask, looking at my father.
“Go to him, do what you must and be back in two days' time. I will be waiting here at the same time as now.” He says and I smile and hug him tightly.
“Thank you. I love you.” I say, quietly.
I head close to shore to where I could touch sand and my father swirls his trident on top of the water. Feeling weird sensations in my fins, I look down, only to notice legs. Human legs… I smile, looking up at my father and wave my toes at him.
He laughs, tossing my bag at me. I grab the blue dress wrapped around my bag and slip it on, it’s wet, but it’ll dry soon enough.
“Be safe and strong, my darling Ariel. I will see you soon.” He says, smiling sadly and disappearing under the water to return to our home.

---------------------------
Chapter Eight
*Harry's pov*
She doesn't want us. She never wanted us. Why wouldn't she just reject us instead of just leading us on? Why!
I rubbed my temples trying to reduce the headache I was getting from my wolf talking nonstop. He just can't stop talking for a minute so I could at least think, to at least say something.
You think she wanted someone else? Oh how I now want to kill that other boy.
My eyes widened at Rox's thought.
Rox stop. You better calm down before I calm you down. I hated talking to him. He was a control freak and so possessive of Valentina. I don't like it when he takes over part of my body because I know he would say something that will hurt her and the one to deal with the consequences will be me, not him.
Oh what are you going to do? Block me out? You can try but I'll push hard enough till I'm taking over your body and then maybe I will mark her and make her mine like we should have done the first night she slept in our home. I felt my hand turn into a fist and I just wanted to punch someone. He pisses me off. I hate how he just talks about her as if she was a possession, an item to just own. She was more than that, she was my mate, the one I will grow old with, the one I will have a family with. She was going to be queen and rule next to me. Now that I thought about that, I hadn't thought about the ceremony. The ceremony the king has to do to introduce his mate and the soon to be queen. Not only I had to deal with my wolf, Rox, but I had to deal with the ceremony and start planning it. I let out a sigh and leaned my head down on my hands. I was currently in my office, hiding from Valentina. I just didn't want to answer any questions she would have because I know she would have questions and I didn't want to be around her for the moment until my mind was clear and Rox was calm and wouldn't be able to do anything stupid.
Before I went to sleep I finished up some work that was left behind and made sure I had everything I would need to the meeting I had the next day.
***********
I came out of my bedroom fixing up the sleeves and the ring I had in my hand when I saw Valentina for the first time since last night before I hid in my office.
"Hey," I didn't say anything, I instead just stared at her. She had a wrist brace and when I saw it I looked away quickly knowing I was the reason she was in pain, hurt.
"Where were you last night?" she spoke in a whisper, as if she was scared to speak up. "You didn't have dinner and you weren't in your bedroom, so where were you?" I looked at her taken back.
"You came into my bedroom? For what?" She looked away and I could tell she was embarrassed.
"I wanted to sleep with you in you bed last night but you weren't there so I figured you must have been out or something," she shrugged her shoulders as if shrugging it off. I cocked my head to the side so I could see her face properly, "I slept in the office, I had to finish some work for today. Did you have trouble sleeping last night or something?" I couldn't think of another reason on why she would want to go sleep with me in my bedroom, i'm usually the one to go to her bedroom to sleep with her.
"My arm started hurting but I wanted to have you next to me," she finally looked up at me and looked at me up and down, presuming she was looking at my clothes and not just checking me out. "Going somewhere?" I looked down at my suit I was wearing for today's meeting, it was one of the suits that were meant to make me look like a king and make me look like I had all the power, sort of because the suit had prints on it. The suit was black but with gold prints on them, they seem to be faces, I liked wearing this types of suits but sometimes the servants would give me clothes that were too much but I had to wear them because they know how to style and I wasn't going to argue with them.
"I actually am. I have a meeting with all the alphas, from U.K and from America. I'll probably be out all day today so Christina will come over and take you over to Christian's place so you can spend the day with Kayla since she will also be alone all day." She gave me a nod and kept staring at me and my suit.
"Penny for your thoughts?" I gave her a small smile. She looked like she had a lot in mind and I really wanted to know what was going on in her mind all the time.
"You look good in that suit, but I thing you look better in casual clothes," by the look of her face I could tell she was blushing, she has this color on her face that made her look reddish but because of her skin tone it was hard to tell but her heart was saying she was in fact blushing.
"Well, I'll try to be as casual as I can be but since I am the king and the alpha, I have to wear decent clothing. You will soon be wearing non-casual clothing so don't get too comfortable with your clothes." I threw her a smirk and made my way down to my office to grab the papers I would need. I could hear Valentina following me but pretended as if I couldn't hear her.
"What you mean?"
I went inside my office and went around my desk to collect all the papers I would need for the meeting. Without looking at Valentina I answered her question, "well you will have to dress your part as a queen, you will have dresses bought and made just for you. You will have nice shoes to go with you dresses and," I looked up and gave her a smirk, "you will have different types of crowns for you to wear." She looked me as if I had grown two heads. Why was she not excited about this? Don't girls want to be dressed and be treated like a queen?
"You want me to change my wardrobe and the way I dress?" I places the papers I had in my hand back on the desk and leaned on my desk. "I don't want you to change, you will only wear dresses and your crown when we go out. Like me, I have this suit and many like this that have to be worn so I could be respected and be treated like the king that I am. I don't want you to change who you are, I would never to that. You just have to play the role, that's all and after that you can wear your sweatpants or jeans okay?" She stared at me for a moment, she just looked at me and didn't say anything until she sat down in front of my desk.
"Okay that's fine. Wait and don't you have to like crown me or something like that? You know in order for me to be queen?" And there's the question. I sat down on my chair behind the desk and rested my hands on the desk. I looked at her and cleared my throat before I started explaining to her about what was going to happen in order for her to become queen.
"Yes I do have to crown you. There will be a ceremony where alphas from other packs come and my pack joins as well. You will have a big dress made for you and you will have people helping you get ready. It is tradition so don't bother protesting this." I gave her a pointing look knowing she was about to say something about her being able to do it on her own.
" There's one thing you have to know about this ceremony, this day you become queen," I took a deep breath before speaking. "That day, the queen and king are supposed to sleep together." I stare at Valentina to see what she would say. She didn't say anything but stare.
"We already do that." I took a deep breath knowing I will have to explain.
"What I mean we have to sleep together. As in have sex. I have to mark you and mate with you. It's part of the ceremony, if we don't do it you won't be connected to me and my wolf, and you won't be connected to my pack. You won't be able to have control of the wolves if you aren't marked on that night." She had a shocked face and she looked like she wanted to get out of the room. I knew this would be too much and I didn't want to tell her all this today but she asked about the coronation and I had to be honest with her.
"Okay." I was taken back by her response. "Okay? What do you mean?"
She looked up to look at me in the eyes, " I mean okay as in I'm fine with it. At some point we have to mate right? And when will this ceremony be?" I cleared my throat after her mentioning about us sleeping together intimately.
"The coronation will be on the next full moon, which is in like two or three weeks. I actually have a meeting with alphas from UK and the rest of America in which we will talk about this. I will be discussing the date of the coronation and other things." I looked down at the folder in front of me, I looked at the watch I had in my wrist and saw I had to leave soon. Grabbing the folder I got up from my seat and looked at Valentina.
"Okay well Christina will come by and take you to spend the day with Kayla since Christian will be going with me. I'll be calling you throughout the day to check up on you okay?" She nodded before furrowing her brows in questioning, "how are you going to check on me when there's no signal here?" Oh right.
"Right, I'll go buy a phone and have people come add some lines in here so I can check up on you. Christina is able to communicate with me so if you need anything from outside of here just let her know and I'll bring it for you okay?"
"Wait your not going to be in here? You are going out as in like to my town?" I nodded at her and waited for her to continue talking. "Do you think you can go over to my dorm and collect my stuff? I have important stuff from back home and I would really want to have them with me." I nodded quickly, not even having to think about it.
"Anything for you. Would that be all or do you want something else? Anything you need from town?" She shook her head and stood up from her chair. I went around my desk and stood in front of her. I looked at her in her eyes, in her dark brown eyes, I placed my hand in her cheek and moved my thumb to feel her skin. To anyone she wouldn't seem perfect but to me she was all I needed and that's all that mattered to me. I didn't care that she had insecurities, I will love her along with all her flaws. Oh and how much I wanted to kiss her lips but I will wait until the night of the coronation. I just hope that day comes as fast as it can.

The Dark Prince: Epilogue: Not The Dark Prince
"Today is the first Independence anniversary for the Acorn Kingdom! Not too long ago, the Acorn Kingdom was under the commands of their tyrant King. Everyone expected the Rebellion leader Princess Sally Acorn to take over the throne. However, informants declare that a secret member of the Rebellion, whose face had not been revealed yet, has been picked by the people of the Acorn Kingdom to take over the throne. He goes by the name of-"
"Cream, stop watching that!", Amy turned off the TV of her leaving room.
"But they were going to reveal the name of the new King!" Cream said winning.
"You have been too obsessed with this new King, you don't even know his name nor his face...what's with this guy anyway?" Amy said as she looked at herself in the mirror, making sure that her hair looks decent for work.
"He is just so mysterious! The news is always talking about him and about the things he has done or the Acorn Kingdom...Weirdly enough, the Acorn Kingdom never let a single picture of him infiltrate...I wonder why?" Cream said thoughtfully.
"He is a secret Rebellion member, if his identity was revealed, then the Kingdom would probably go after his loved ones."
"Rouge?!"
Amy and Cream turned around to find Rouge drinking a cup of coffee. "What?"
"How long have you been there?"
"Half an hour", She said as she took a sip. "I used to be spy honey...I remember some old tricks."
"I forgot that just two years ago you used to work for G.U.N hehe... well at least you are doing good as a self-defense trainer." Cream said as she made room for her bat friend to sit with her on the sofa.
"And you are doing good as a Pre-K teacher yourself Cream.", Rouge took a seat next to her rabbit friend.
"I am really happy you are here Rouge but I am just leaving to work," Amy said as she opened the door, ready to leave.
"But we even haven't talked about the wedding yet!" Rouge said almost screaming as she saw Amy leave.
"We will talk about it as soon as I get back home!
And with that Amy left.
Rouge and Cream looked at each other, already knowing what they were going to do next.
They turned the TV and watched the breaking news.
The news reporter was shown quickly on the TV, still announcing the breaking news. "Who would have thought that the new King of the Acorn Kingdom will be no other than the re-owned worldwide superhero-"
Then, both Rouge and Cream yelled in unison...
"IT'S HIM!"
.
.
.
It has been another busy day at Momo's Cafe, AKA Amy's cafe. Although she was thankful that her cafe had become more popular these days, she was still thankful that everything was working well.
She looked up at her phone, looking at it proudly, she was able to buy herself a smartphone. She received a text message from Sonic clearly saying: "Can't wait to see you!"
Amy smiled with the text, it has been two weeks since she last Sonic and she was super excited to him. She texted back: "I am cleaning up at the cafe, you can come if you want."
"Alright :)" He texted back.
She put her phone away and put on some music to start cleaning up. Her last employee left and since Amy was the owner, she made a thing that it must be her the first one to arrive and the last one to leave.
To leave
It has already been two years and still no signs of him. She really wonders if she is worth waiting for him this long. She wanted him to be there for the wedding, but it seems like she wasn't going to see him anytime soon.
Amy used a towel to clean the underpart of the cashier's table. As if she was under it, she heard the cafe's door open. Steps getting closer to her as they finally made a stop in front of the cashier, waiting to get service. Amy was having a bit of difficulty getting herself up from the underpart of the table, as she hit her head.
"Can I have a cup of black coffee?"
Amy heard a someone from the other side of the cashier say, as she stopped from touching her head, she quickly stood up to face her client.
"Sorry sir, we are closed-"
This must be a dream.
Amy must have hit her head too hard because the one standing right in front of her, asking her for a cup of black coffee was no other than Shadow the Hedgehog.
.
.
.
This wasn't like in the books, where both protagonists end up kissing each other after a long time of not meeting.
Their feelings were never like that, and Shadow was aware of that. Before, Shadow would be worried about that fact. Now, it didn't matter, it was unique. It wasn't fictional....
their feelings were real.
And now they were here, alone, drinking coffee on the place where everything began. Quietly, their eyes crossed each other, not knowing where to star.
"So...how you have been?" Amy asked trying not to make eye contact. Shadow took a sip of his coffee before answering, keeping his cool.
"I've been alright"
That was it. Shadow couldn't get words out of his mouth. He really was trying to make any motion possible to show that he was happy to be here.
"What-um..what you?"
"What?"
"What about you?" Shadow finally was able to pronounce his words properly. He didn't know why he was getting so nervous for. It was just Amy, the girl who he had a crush on since forever, nothing to be worried about right?
"I've well since you left two years, I kept working on my cafe and now it's gotten more popular. Also that I've been busy planning a wedding." Amy said simply, still trying to fully realize that the Dark Prince was in front of her.
"Oh...A wedding?...things between you and Sonic must be pretty good then." Shadow sighed, what was he expecting? He clearly told Sonic to go after Amy, and for him to make her happy. It had been two years, so of course their relationship had developed. Of course Sonic would want to marry her, who wouldn't? At least Shadow would do it in a heartbeat.
So if he knew...why was there still a pain in his heart?
Oh, yes...because he had hoped that Amy would have waited for him. But he knew that it would be selfish of him to ask her to do so.
"Ummm, yes we are good but I am planning Rouge and Knuckles' wedding. They asked me to do it, so of course, I said yes. Don't get me wrong, I love planning but it can be stressing at times."
"Wait, so Sonic and you?"
"What about us?" Amy said a bit weird out by Shadow's question.
"You know..you both are...a thing?"
"No, we never dated. I couldn't bring myself to think about anyone else after what Sonic told me." Amy took a sip once again from her cup, already knowing where this was going.
"What did Sonic told you?"
Shadow was panicking. Sonic couldn't have told Amy about the letter...right?
"Mmm...where should I start?... I am not perfect, and I may have hurt you-"
"STOP!"
Shadow could feel his cheeks getting hotter by the second. He had never felt this flustered before. He hated himself as he realized that he had lost his cool.
"I am sorry...I won't talk about it again." Amy said smiling a bit, proud that she made Shadow get pink like that.
A few minutes passed again in silence as Shadow had gotten his composure back. "So...you waited for me? Although I told Sonic to be with you?"
"Sonic always put others before himself. He knew that you loved me so he stepped aside. He asked me if I was ok with it...you know...If I was ok with waiting..."
Amy sighed as she remembers the scene clearly from two years ago. Sonic showing her the letter Shadow had left. Reading Shadow's true feelings was what made Amy come up with an answer.
"And I said yes."
For a moment, Shadow couldn't' hear anything but his heartbeat. For a small fraction of a second, Shadow couldn't see anything but Amy. That 'Yes' stumble his ears again and again, almost like a melody.
It may be a simple word, but for him...it meant everything.
All of this time, he was scared that all previous feelings Amy had for him were gone. But now, seeing her eyes glow like that as if she was about to cry. Her lips trembling, and her body ready to jump into his arms.
"Are you still looking for an extra worker?" Shadow smiled, hoping that his words will resonate with her.
"Yes..." Amy took one second to stop her voice from cracking. " I can't promise you a good paycheck but...I promise you that I'll never fire you... Will the Dark Prince comply to these terms?"
Shadow couldn't wait to get Amy into his arms. After two long years of being part of the Rebellion and learning more about himself, he was ready to start living. Although he still had questions about love and how it should be treated, he knew that the only way to learn was to experience it.
And he wanted to experience everything with Amy. Their time was ending, the two lovers had no one to stop them from loving each other. It was the beginning of the end, but what a beautiful ending it was.
Sonic had finally arrived at Amy's Cafe but he couldn't bring himself to interrupt the beautiful moment the two were having. At last, his promise to Shadow had been fulfilled and there was nothing else to do but watch. He smiled out of happiness as he watched the two share a small kiss. He learned to watch from afar and appreciate the little things life brings him. He was truly happy for them both.
Shadow smiled and held hands with Amy. He closed his eyes and opened them slowly as to savor the moment, not wanting to let go, he sighed and answered her question...
"I am not the Dark Prince anymore...but if you want, call me the Dark King."

The Dark Prince: Chapter Nine: A Confession
A/N: This story came out from a small idea, now it has become a complete story.
Personally, I think this is the best ShadAmy fan-fiction I've written. I want to thank everyone who has followed this story to the very end. Especially those who comment and inspired me to keep writing.
There's really not much to say, I will probably take a break from writing stories with multiple chapters. I'll like to get my ideas going by writing one-shot stories, so of course, if anyone has prompt ideas feel free to message me.
Thank you once again to everyone who read "The Dark Prince" I have loved writing this story and its sad to let it go.
But all things that start well, end well.

Note
this is technically, two, but: sidon's initial reaction to his s/o's period (can't sharks smell blood??) AND/OR some sad with him finding out his S/O can't have children
(I guess this is two because I couldn’t handle leaving one unanswered~ Enjoy!~)
S/o On Period:
Hylians Do What?
Another Hylian thing that our dear Prince is totally clueless about
I mean he hasn’t been able to interact with many Hylians let alone females (or trans/non-binaries) enough to be even remotely familiar about this wonderful facet of their bodies
You hadn’t really prepared him for the change because neither of you had bothered to bring it up
So when it does finally happen, chaos ensues (maybe not total chaos, but it definitely gets messy)
Smell
The scent will be the first thing that tips him off
Being a Zora, his diet consists of fish and other such sea life and in order to get that sea life he must first hunt it down
To make this hunt easier the Zoras developed a sort of sixth sense where they can smell blood in the water so if they do injure something they can track the kill down through the blood in the water and reap their spoils
Great white sharks can smell blood up to 3 miles away even if it’s one tiny droplet they can detect it and track it down, but why is this important?
Because Sidon is of royal descent and possesses shark-like qualities, I believe he may have inherited a stronger sense of smell that allows him to detect blood much faster and at further distances
And this ability doesn’t only work in the water, Zoras can smell blood on dry land as well and that is where the big problem comes to light
Because Sidon is working in his office, pouring over some papers when you come into the room to check on him which he always appreciates
But when you leave there is something off, in the room and it takes him a moment to recognize the scent that is so familiar and foreign to him at the same time
His mind drifts to where he usually smells it, thinking of the water, hunting prey, and when injury comes into his mind he shoots up from his desk and darts out of the room to catch up to you
Sidon in his panic will take hold of your arms and spin you around to face him asking “Are you hurt?! What happened?! Why have you not gone to a healer?”
You are of course confused by this sudden change in his mood and how he examines your body, turning your arms over like he’s looking for something, an injury perhaps, but you’re not hurt you tell him, what would make him think that?
He calms down when he can’t see any obvious injuries and looks at you confused, worry still lingering in his eyes “But… the blood, I can smell it all over your person. You’re not hurt?”
That’s when it finally clicks in your head and you have to sit him down
Care From a Distance
Sidon, while he struggles at first, will do his best to understand how you’re feeling and try to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible
He has no problem running errands for you when you don’t feel like walking, tucking you in when your cramps have you confined to the bed, and making sure you’re eating properly and drinking lots of water
The biggest problem is that he can’t stay around you for too long because of the smell
His body is naturally designed to respond to the smell of blood as something to track down and hunt, and your blood is much sweeter and more alluring to him than the blood of some ordinary prey
It’s an instinctive feeling, blood = food and your blood promises the most delectable food that makes his head spin the longer you spend time around him
It’s stronger, more potent, to the point where he cannot bring himself to lay next to you at night especially when you have been laying in bed, your scent becoming trapped in the fibers of the blankets
Sidon is ashamed to admit that he cannot keep control over his instincts, considering how this is a very vulnerable time for you and he wants to be there to comfort you but he fears what might happen if he gives into his temptations
While a gentleman at heart there is always this primal part of Sidon that he cannot quite shake no matter how much he tries, he is not ashamed of that lineage but when it could potentially put the one he loves most in danger it is difficult to admire it
My Catch
Sidon isn’t the only one who can pick up on your scent, his sense might be heightened but when you’re wandering around the Kingdom other’s can also pick up on it
And they are not as informed as the prince so when they smell it they don’t know that the source is coming from you, their minds will only be thinking prey, must hunt, hunt prey
Which leads to a rather startling encounter where one day you’re strolling through town seeking something in the market and suddenly a hand roughly grabs your arm
When you turn around wincing in pain as claws dig into your skin, you can see that the female Zora’s eyes are fully dilated looking over you with hunger like someone eyeing a freshly prepared steak
Her fangs are bared, body tense like she’s preparing to strike when suddenly Sidon rushes in having seen the commotion from across the center of town
With the ferocity of a predator fending off vultures from its kill he tears the female away from you and pushes her back, shielding you behind hit
It’s only when his strong presence is registered that the female is able to come to her senses and immediately she begins apologizing profusely begging for forgiveness because she has no idea what came over her
Sidon has to force himself to calm down, being her prince he can’t in good heart get too angry at her when it is a constant battle for him to resist you as well
From then on he tries to keep you in the palace and is always with you whenever you go outside so he can deter any lingering eyes from other Zora
Can’t Have Children:
Dreams
Infertility is not completely foreign to Sidon, he knows of Zora mates who tried many, many times to have children but it never seemed to work and he could tell that it saddened them so he always viewed it as a tragedy
Sidon has never been hyper-focused on beginning a family because his citizens always come first but on his off time when he really thinks about his future it’s a story that seems straight out of a fairytale
He will meet someone who takes his breath away and makes his heart beat so loud that he can’t hear anything but the sound of their voice ringing in his ears
He would court that person with gifts and all the attention they could ever hope for, proclaiming his undying love for them all the way up until they wed
The thought of one day being able to sit upon his new throne as the King of the Zora, watching over the domain with his beloved at his side, their children running about the castle laughing and shouting
Everything would be perfect, and for some time he holds on to this ideal future believing it to be the only path he wished to pursue
But then comes the fateful where you stroll into the domain and turn his world upside-down
Ruined?
Right from the get-go, things didn’t go exactly as Sidon had always dreamed of
Because you were not a Zora he learned very quickly that he couldn’t court you like he could with someone of his own kind, and this wasn’t a bad thing
It was exciting to have to work harder to figure out exactly what interested you
Finding the perfect gifts to win over your affections and if you weren’t so much interested in possessions then he would happily put extra effort into bringing you wonderful places to spend time together and talk
It’s different, it’s new, it’s thrilling and he loves every second where he gets to learn something new about you because you are the one he fell in love with and he’d do anything for you
After sometime of being his partner he starts to wonder about his dream thinking maybe now would be a good time to try for the next step
That’s when things get complicated
That’s when you come forth with your family’s history, having children has always been a little difficult even for your parents it was some time before you were finally conceived it’s just something you understood would be hard for you
But Sidon is hopeful, your parents were able to bring such a dazzling gem into the world surely you could do the same even if it takes time he is ready to wait because he loves you and wants to build a family with you
The two of you try, you really do try but after a couple attempts you begin to believe that it just isn’t going to work he’s a Zora and you’re a Hylian it was a longshot to begin with even without your condition
Sidon can’t believe it though, or it’s more like he doesn’t want to believe it because this isn’t how it’s supposed to go, he’s supposed to become king and have children with his beloved so that they can continue the royal line
He convinces you to try a few more times and each time you two must wait for any sign that it has worked becomes more and more agonizing to endure
A full year of trying and failing every month until you have to confront him and make him see that there isn’t going to be a miracle for you and you can’t deal with anymore failed attempts
And Sidon can’t argue with you, he’s not the one who feels like their body is broken, like they’re letting not only themselves but everyone else in the domain who was looking forward to a little heir
Coming To Terms
The night when Sidon lays down beside you, holding you close to his chest he doesn’t sleep well, at first that is
He’s thinking and re-thinking over his future and how he’s going to deal with not having an heir to take his place at the throne when he is old and what lies ahead for the domain and its citizens
But then he feels you stir in his arms and looks down at your face, despite the red puffiness surrounding your eyes from the rough night you had been having, in his arms you looked… peaceful
Maybe… the two of you didn’t need children, you already had each other and you were still so young there was no need to rush anything
Sidon didn’t need children, he had you
#@bottled-jellyfish#dedication and the mass hoarding of every request I've ever received#so so many requests#I should close asks so I can catch up but I don't want to#love seeing what you crazy kids come up with#headcanons#sidon headcanons#botw headcanons#sidon#prince sidon#botw#breath of the wild#hope you enjoyed this blast from the past!~
