Ed and Martin present Oswald with umbrellas with secret features on a regular basis (like, for the Father's Day, Christmas etc... it's not the only present but it becomes a constant over time).

It comes to the point where he needs a separate section in his wardrobe just for them.

He wouldn't even dream of telling them he's had enough, because he is so touched... not to mention they somehow manage to surprise him with what they come up with in terms of secret features even after years of the tradition.
