How i got into Fairy Tail

Thank you so much @miscellaneousramblings for tagging me ;_; Ok so my english sucks but i will do my best to explain xD. I first discovered FT when i was 11, at my school and i didn't have a clue of what it was talking about. I just knew it by name, thanks to the boy who was sitting near me. I noticed Lucy, Natsu and Happy on his book and i asked him how was called the anime. Then, he told me and that was all... 1 hour later i have already forgotten xD. But on day, while i was watching TV, the channel started to put the first episodes of FT ( of course, dubbing with French voices... aha ). And that's basically how i fell into the FT fandom %D. I started to become crazy about it, begging my friends to watch... And everyday, at 19h i was waiting for my episodes ... But you know, there is something really annoying with the TV channels because i remembered that i was at the Daphne and the Dragons's filler arc and then the day after.... They put the first episode again AHHHH WTF And later, the channel just stopped FT and started One Piece instead. I had a big break with FT, until it came back few months later with Tenroujima. And this moment is really important because back in 2011 , at the instant i saw Zeref crying, he becames immediatly my favorite character of all animes. Before him i was really into Jellal and Roy from FMA but my poor angsty handsome black mage won my heart in a few episodes xD After this, the anime just stopped again and for 2 years i totally forget FT until the anime came back again and stopped just after the Tenroujima arc huuugh... and at this moment i decided to looking for the manga. I found it and read all the avalaible chapters. I didn't know that every week there was a chapter and sometimes i went to the site 3 weeks later or even everyday, in hope to have a new chapter... Then i read chapter 436, the day where it was released and i was so excited and crazy about that i decided to looking for other sites with udaptes and i found it... you can't even imagine how happy i was when i discovered that every weeks we had a new chapter xD And so... until this day i've never stopped to follow FT. In 2015 I found beautiful fanarts on a thing called "tumblr" and i spent a whole year following my favorite artists without being on tumblr ( i was too shy ). But seeing all the recent hate toward FT made me want to defend my favourite characters and my childhood manga. That's why i decided to join the other part of the fandom here :) THAT'S FINISHED i'm so sorry for the big text full of english mistakes. I think i went a little to far lmao. 18.) Found out someone was talking about you: YES. And BOY is it a trip when I find people are horrible trolls. I find out about sweet people who say super kind things about me or my work all the time. But when I get a heads up about backstabbers or people who get close for the wrong reasons, I put my guard up around them & just do my own thing. Because a path of jealousy, hatred & vengeance isn’t for me. Bullies can talk, but I’ll always ignore them.

But the MORE I thought about why I liked him, the more I realized I could NEVER be in a relationship with them cuz they were immature & didn’t know how to be serious.They don’t balance goofiness & sensitivity & I need a balanced person

K - Kanda Yuu from D.Gray-Man! I started watching this series back in… 2012 I think? The whole story and settings captured me, especially the scad’s backstory. 

I liked Kanda the minute I saw him but I first started to really love him during the Noah’s Ark arc. I still tear up when I think of the scene where Alen and Kanda has an argument about who’s being slow now XD

L - Laurent of Vere from Captive Prince trilogy! My intelligent, sarcastic and misunderstood baby, who has a tragic past and still has a heart of gold. He just hides it incredibly well.

Unlike Damen, I fell in love with Laurent the minute he opened his mouth. Throughout the first book I had a feeling that normally Laurent is not like this (and had my suspicions confirmed when he helped Erasmus). Of course, his actions are not torelable but he had a reason behind those actions, even though it’s not a good one. 

But he had a considerable amount of character development (manly thanks to you, Damen) and so he became a happy and carefree youth he was always supposed to be (he’s just 20 years old and went through so much shit it could stop the freaking Niagara). I shall protect him with my life.

J - Jude Mathis from Tales of Xillia! I’ve just started to watch a playthrough but I’m already in love with him? He’s caring, a great friend and emotional support plus I love when he blushes! 

He’s a little bit dense sometimes, but I can see the traces of Sorey’s personality in him (or should I say it the other way around?). He worries for everyone and can go to extrame length for his friends. 

Not to mention I’m already a JuMilla shipper but I feel like this ship doesn’t have a potential future like SorMik does… which is… kinda sad.

A - Arthur Kirkland aka England aka the King of my Heart from Hetalia! He is the reason I’m in any fandom as up until I met him I never wanted to be in any fandom, anime or else. 

My love gradually grow for him, for his sarcastic attitude, for his tsundere behaviour. He’s playful if he wants to be, a massive rock of stubborness and will if the circumstances require that from him, but sometimes still a little, full of innocence kid who has a not so happy childhood at his back. He doesn’t trust easily yet he cares about other’s well-being. 

He’s at least 90% like me in personality, so maybe that’s the reason I can relate to him and love him that much. (Mikleo’s the other one so he officially hold the title of the Queen of my Heart since September but shhhh)

D - Daryuun from Arslan Senki! He’s a kind of recent addition to my favourites as I finished the series a week ago. He looks like Kimblee from FMA and for like the first five minutes of seeing him I was laughing my ass off. They’re the exact polar opposits in terms of personality and it still cracks me up a little bit every time.

The reason I love him is mainly his loyalty and unwavering will and strenght when it comes to Arslan. His overprotectiveness is cute and funny (the 2 OVAs were best in that regard) and he has a caring but brutal personality too. 

He’s always there for Arslan and his friends and is a great fighter, so what else do you need when you have to take back your country?

Now that I’m finished with this… I think I have a slight attraction to sarcastic characters with a troubled past… I mean it’s 3/5 for that… and not all of them are my absolute favourites… now then.. what does that say about me, I wonder?
