Not Luke going back living among us and liking Bridgerton’s posts again. Could it be just a coincidence? Like the like he put on the Wimbledon pics of Nic? Strange indeed. Again.

This is a continuation of THIS POST. It’s now dramione.
I don’t belong here.
But, right now, I’m covered in ants. If you’ve ever been attacked by ants, you’d understand that I’m not going to make a lot of sense, because when ants keep finding their way onto you, you talk for only a few moments before you’re jerking your entire body, before your hand slams down on a piece of skin where you’re certain you felt the little fucker crawling all over you. Sometimes, you’re wrong, it’s just a bit of Formication induced by a previous incident.
So maybe ants are not crawling all over me. It doesn’t matter. There was one, at some point and now I’m left jerking and twitching and slapping myself on my arm, my leg, my neck.
It’s just that I’m not supposed to be here. My parents forced me to go back into teenage hell after spending the summer molding me back into the good little blood bigot they had been grooming my entire life. Only, they didn’t do it with their usual doting nature. No, they know that I’m not buying that shit anymore, it makes me sick.
They sent me away to a facility that is designed to make boys into men. The kind of place that strips you of your entire will, your spirt, they break you is what I’m trying to say. They break you into something fragile and slowly, they start to add shrapnel made of nails and bolts and they put you and all that hard, jagged stuff into a bit and then they put you and all of those packed in bits of metal into the forge.
You burn and you burn, because you’re in hell and you can’t breathe, you can’t even cry or scream, you just close your eyes and grit your teeth until they start to crack and you fucking die. Okay, so I think I probably died and I’ve been resurrected into something that is ancient and jaded.
And when I left the facility, I was a Good little asshole all over again. My father’s plans are right back on course, and I am forced to return to Hogwarts and finish my education.
“It’ll look good for your political career,” father says and I remind him that I really never planned on getting into politics. He just gives me one of those disgusting little smirks that tells everyone that it isn’t up to me. It’s up to him, everything is always up to him.
Mother just plays along and nods her little docile head and I’m reminding them that we lost the fucking war, that I would be humiliated and then my father chuckles some kind of condescending type of chuckle that causes my bones to grind together, my eye to twitch, and he says to me,
“Draco, son.” [Insert stupid condescending smile here.] “That was just a little bit of a distraction . We are now in the process of a plan that has been in the works since before you were born.”
I say to him, what do you mean? But father just shrugs and looks down at a drink in his hand. Carbonated water. Malfoy's don’t drink, we don’t smoke and we don’t drink.
So my father looks at his drink, he smirks and shrugs and writes me off before nodding to his loyal wife.
“You better hurry up before you miss the train,” She flicks her wand and my trunk appears at me feet, fully packed and I kick it because what the fuck.
My toe is aching, the second toe is longer than the first and it’s probably broken and sprained and I’m limping away as a house elf levitates my trunk to the front door.
“Don’t forget to write!” My mother calls and my response is a single finger tossed over my shoulder before the door slams shut behind me.
I miss the train, anyway.
Which is how I ended up belly crawling out from the space between the roots of the Whomping Willow as it vomits me out like it’s giving birth and I’m getting attacked by ants and praying to fucking Salazar Slytherin himself that I won’t get knocked in the head by a rogue branch set on a course of death and destruction.
By the way, guys, lovely thing to put on the grounds of a fucking school.
I finally roll out of the way of an angry branch that I swear will one day burn, when I realize that my trunk is still back in the fucking run down shack in Hogsmeade.
And really, that’s fine because I don’t care. I don’t fucking care.
I shouldn’t be here. I shouldn’t be crawling my way back into this hell. I just left hell. And I entered that hell from a hell of a different kind.
Life is just different levels of hell and perhaps each one is a test. Or maybe I already died and this is hell or I’ve been brought back from the dead, I don’t know. But my point is, I am not like the rest of the prisoners here. I’m not like the rest of the prisoners anywhere I go because I never belong.
Wherever I go, I do not belong.
But I finally crawl myself away from the death tree, and lumber towards the castle looming ahead, the castle where we all died, maybe I died. Maybe everyone died. Maybe nobody died. I don’t care.
The point is, I don’t care.
I shouldn’t be there.
And I’m only ten feet away from the Greenhouses when I hear a voice.
The voice is feminine and frantic and she’s not actually talking to anyone. Because the closer I get, the clearer it becomes that there’s a girl, no a woman, standing against the wall of one of the greenhouses and she’s whispering to herself, swearing and muttering nonsense.
The voice is whispering but not to me. Because I don’t belong.
Her silhouette is all baggy robes and messy hair and she’s starting to pace and take deep, calming breaths. Shes shaking out her hands and rolling her shoulders back and then my foot falls flat on a twig that snaps and she inhales sharply before,
“Malfoy?” Granger.
The point is, I don’t belong here.
The point is, this is the last person on earth I want to see and in the last place I want to be.
And the point is, she is the first person I do see.
And the point is that the second I see her face come clearly into view, is the second I feel an ant on my cheek, near my eye.
The point is that the first time I see Hermione Granger after the war, I slap myself in the face due to a bout of Formication.

Comfort in a Wedding
Summary - Part 33 in the Comfort series
Pairing - Dean Winchester x Reader, Reader x Sam (platonic), Reader x Bobby (father-figure), Andre (OG Character) x Reader (best friends)
Series Masterlist | Masterlist
A/N: This chapter is a little longer than normal, I just couldn't bring myself to take anything out or cut it off anywhere. I hope you enjoy. Also, I know this GIF is Amara, but just use your imagination.
Tumblr media
As you and Dean make your way down to the lobby you send out a silent prayer to Cas asking him to bring everyone to the front of the hotel. Out on the street you look to your left and see Sam and Cas walking towards you. You smile at them as they approach and squeeze Dean’s hand.
Once they get close enough to talk Sam looks at you and says, “So, looks like you’re as persuasive as you said.”
“Told you. I know what I want and how to get it. Did you guys call Bobby?” Just as his name leaves your lips a beat up red and black sedan pulls up beside you on the curb.
“So, what? Am I going back to my motel or witnessing a wedding?” Bobby asks gruffly, leaning out the window.
You look up at Dean and smile. “The second option. No more changing our mind, no more running. Although, a courthouse isn’t really an option given our legal, official vital status.”
Dean sighs and then says, “I think I know a place, I’ll go get my other Baby and we can go.” He kisses you on the top of your head before pulling away to go get his car.
As soon as he’s out of earshot Sam says, “You forgive too easily. You know he’s gonna do this again the next time there’s the slightest inconvenience. I know you love him, but is it really worth all the pain?”
“Name a perfect couple, Sam. Your parents weren’t, Bobby and Karen weren’t, hell my parents weren’t even hunters and their marriage wasn’t perfect. They fought like cats and dogs most of the time. Doesn’t mean the love’s not real and that it’s not worth every second.”
“Let them have their moment, Sam. Be a supportive brother. I hate seeing any of you guys get hurt, especially by each other. But I’ve watched Dean surprise me for years, and for the two of you he always steps up when it really matters. You’ve fought adversity after adversity side-by-side and despite the pain you always find solace in each other. And for the record I know quite a few couples that hunt together. I’m rooting for you.”
“Thanks, Bobby. That means a lot.”
“Yeah, yeah. Enough with the chick flick moments, here comes Dean. You coming, Sam?”
Sam nods and walks around to the passenger side and gets in while Cas awkwardly looks around before getting in the backseat. When Dean pulls up in front of Bobby you do the same. His hand is quick to find your smooth, bare thigh where your dress has ridden up as he drives off to the secret location. “That dress is really sexy, but I can’t wait to see it on the floor.”
You blush a little and then say, “I never thought this day would actually come. Part of me thought we’d be engaged forever.”
He squeezes your thigh. “Me too. And I know I’m difficult and I keep hurting you, but I swear I meant it when I asked you that night. It feels like such a long time ago.”
“So much has happened since then. But honestly, I’m just glad we went through it all together. I can withstand a lot, Dean, but not alone.”
“I know. You mentioned that night in the barn. That night I knew you had a hold on me. I’ve been with plenty of women, you know that, but none have put me in my place and made me want to change the way you do. But as I fell for you all I could think about was losing you. I don’t think I could handle that. Even when I gave you that ring I was terrified. We’ve got so many people killed over the years and I just couldn’t live with myself if I got you killed too.”
You put your hand on top of his on your thigh. “I was a hunter long before I met you. I know the risks. I feel a lot more secure hunting with you than hunting alone. I know you have my back, and I always have yours.”
You look out the window as you feel the car slowing down and pulling off down a dirt road. You give Dean a confused look.
“I often take these roads when looking for somewhere to camp the night in Baby instead of going to a motel. I came out here the other night to clear my head and all I could think of was how much you’d like it.”
At first glance it just appears to be a plain field and a forest but the further he pulls off the road you start to smell the ocean.
“This field made you think of me?”
“Shut up. Just follow me, I promise it’s not a long walk, but I can carry you if you want,” Dean says as he shuts off the engine and gets out. Bobby, Sam, and Cas follow suit. You get out carefully while holding the soft box in one hand.
“No offense, Dean, but we passed plenty of nicer places on the way here…” Bobby says.
“Shut your mouths all of you.”
Dean offers you his hand and then takes one look at your white heels and scoops down and picks you up bridal style. “I can walk, Dean. Put me down.”
“You’ll ruin the only pair of nice shoes you own.”
“It’s not like I’ll ever wear them again.”
Dean just shakes his head at you and continues down a narrow walking trail for a few minutes before stopping and placing you back on your feet. You spin around taking in the view. You’re on a hill with a river running below and wild flowers lining the river's edge. Tall trees tower above you with birds and wildlife chirping in the treetops. Dean takes a tight grip on your hand to ensure you don’t slip while taking it all in. You can see the trail goes further around, winding along the river’s edge, but the view from where you are is perfect. The look of wonder on your face is enough for Dean to know his suspicions were correct.
“I always told you if we did it, we’d do it right,” he says, pulling you close.
“You definitely delivered. Let’s do this.” You say.
Cas walks over and joins you and says, “Soulmates, I told you. I’m so glad I didn’t wipe your memories.”
“Yeah, us too,” you say.
Dean pulls you close and looks straight into your eyes. You smile up at him.
Castiel stands in front of you both, his presence commanding yet gentle. With a solemn nod, he speaks up. “Well, it seems there’s no point in prolonging this or dragging it out. Love is a force that transcends boundaries, a bond that unites two souls on a journey through life. Dean and YN, as soulmates your love has the power to conquer even the greatest challenges, as we’ve seen time and time again. Your journey together is a testament to the strength of your bond.” He looks at each of you and then continues, “I believe this is where you each share your vows. So, YN, do you take Dean to be your husband, to love, support, and stand by his side through all the trials life may bring?”
Tears shimmer in your eyes as you look into Dean's, your heart overflowing with love. “Of course I do.” You carefully open the ring box and take out the larger ring that you picked for Dean. He holds out his left hand and you slip the ring onto his ring finger. It’s a perfect fit. “Dean, I'm so glad I found you. You've been with me through it all—the good times and the bad–the pregnancy and the loss and every hunt we’ve ever been on, as well as the quiet days in the bunker and driving around in Baby. You've always been there to protect me and comfort me when it gets tough. You're my rock. I love you with everything I have.”
Dean smiles at you as Cas nods and turns to Dean, his gaze unwavering. “Dean, do you take YN to be your wife, to love, support, and stand by her side through all the trials life may bring?”
Dean’s smile never wavers as he looks deep into your eyes and says, “Hell yes, I do.” A soft chuckle ripples through you, Sam and Bobby, even Castiel's lips twitching into a small smile. Dean takes the ring box from you and takes out the simple ring you chose for yourself. He hands the box off to Sam who’s standing nearby and lifts up your left hand. “From the moment you put that knife against my neck in that barn, everything changed. You've stood by me through the darkest of times, and you've brought light into my world. A light that I never thought I’d have. Pushed me to be better and got through to me when I was too stubborn. Hell, you even got me here today. I know I’ve never made anything easy, but I promise to always be there for you, to protect you, to make you laugh even when you don't want to, and to love you with everything I have.” He slips the ring onto your finger so it sits perfectly above your engagement ring.
Smiling at you both, Cas continues. “Then, by the power vested in me as an angel of the lord, I now pronounce you partners for life, here on Earth and in heaven. You may seal this bond with a kiss.”
Dean's arms wrap around you, drawing you into a passionate and tender kiss, pushing all his love into it. As he pulls away, his eyes sparkle with emotion. “I love you, Mrs. Winchester.”
You smile through happy tears, your heart overflowing. “And I love you, Mr. Winchester.”
Dean pulls you in for another kiss. “I am a little disappointed I didn’t get to fully appreciate all the effort you went to earlier,” he says as he tucks a stray strand of hair behind your ear softly. Then he leans in close to your ear and deeply says, “But I promise I’m gonna appreciate and worship every inch of your sexy body when we get back to the hotel.”
You can’t help but blush at his words as heat floods through your body heading south. You turn your head, placing your lips close to his ear and whisper, “That’s good because I have a little surprise for you under here.”
You hear his breath catch in his throat at your words. You smirk at him and pull away. You walk over to Sam and Bobby, feeling Dean’s gaze dragging over your form from behind. Bobby holds his arms open for you, he’s not much of a hugger but he’s always made exceptions for you in special circumstances. You welcome his embrace.
“I knew you’d pull this off. I know he’s rough around the edges but he will be good to you. I trust that. I knew you two would end up together from the first time he brought you over. You both look happy and that’s all this old man can ask for.”
You smile at Bobby and nod before looking over your shoulder at Dean who’s taken a few steps towards you. “I am happy. This is what I’ve wanted for a long time. I don’t know what’s in our future or how long we have but I want to spend it with him.”
The second you step back from Bobby Dean’s wrapping his arms around you from behind. “Come on, we get a honeymoon now, right?” He asks.
“I don’t know, Dean. We got the wedding, but there’s still demons on our trail.”
Sam finally pipes up and says, “you deserve it. Go celebrate and try to have a few normal newly-wed-couple days, and if the demons find you, you hunt them. If you’re gonna do it, go the whole mile. I may not have always been onboard but Bobby’s right, despite all your trials and tribulations you always get through it together, you always come through for each other. And I’m glad to finally be able to officially call you my sister.”
“In-law,” you add with a smile. You know it must be hard for Sam with how he’s felt for you and watching Dean treat you rough and you always running right back. But you know he means well and wants what’s best for both you and Dean. You trust he’ll come to accept the bond.
“Well then, if everyone’s onboard, I’m gonna take this little hottie out for a proper celebration and then start our honeymoon,” Dean says as he hugs you tightly.
“You mean consummate your bond,” Cas says matter-of-factly from behind you.
“If you want to put it that way, sure,” Dean says and you blush.
“Thanks Cas for coming through with this. I know it’s not what you’re used to and you see it as redundant but it meant a lot to me,” you say as you turn around as best you can in Dean’s arms.
“Anything to keep my two favourite soulmates together,” Cas says before disappearing in a flap of his wings.
With that Dean spins you around and picks you back up bridal style to walk you back to the car.
“Dean!” You shout in shock.
“Can’t have you spraining an ankle on our wedding day.”
Back at the cars you say your goodbyes to Sam and Bobby.
“You kids have fun, but also stay safe. Look after each other,” Bobby says.
Sam nods in agreement with Bobby’s statement and then hugs you and Dean before you get in your separate cars and drive back out to the highway and go in opposite directions. In the car Dean’s hand finds its home on your upper thigh again.
“As much as part of me wants to take you right back to the hotel and worship you, I’m not sure when I’ll be able to get you all dressed up like this again. So, I’m gonna find the most fancy, romantic place in Miami and give you the treatment you deserve.”
“Lead the way, husband.” You reach over and turn on the radio letting the classic rock roll over you. This here is your comfort zone: sitting in Baby with Dean’s hand squeezing your thigh while rock music fills the comfortable silence between you.

Cult Girl: Doctorate (Hannibal x Pregnant!Female!Reader) pt. 14
Hannibal reads too much into Max's attempt to reconcile and cult girl revisits her past.
@wisesandwichshark @pearlstiare
Trigger warnings: discussions of death, abandonment, military casualties, emotional abuse
You soon returned to the opera knowing you had nothing to hide. Hannibal selected for you an off-white maternity gown so form-fitting it was practically painted on. He wanted everyone to see that you, his queen, empress and goddess, were carrying his child.
It only took that evening for the whole dynamic to change. Suddenly, you were an expectant new mother. Imogen had been a massive hit, you were planning to go again.
You were affixing your heavy cubic zirconia earrings when you heard a knock at the door. You hesitated, but hurried down the stairs when you saw who it was.
"Max?" You said, upon opening the door. He stood there awkwardly, holding a bouquet of flowers. "Hi?"
"Hey, [F/N]." Max greeted, eyes darting nervously around the porch. "I just came around to apologize in person. I'm sorry I was such a chauvinist prick."
You leaned against the door. "Oh?"
"You were right." He continued. "I don't know what it's like to carry a baby, and, unless something goes very wrong, I never will."
"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." You smiled.
"Anyway, these are for you." He said, handing the bouquet over. "They're chrysanthemums."
"Thank you, Max." You said, accepting the flowers.
"Archie and I-" He scratched the back of his head. "We thought that, maybe, if you'd still have us, that we'd name the baby Chrysanthemum. With your permission, of course."
"Like the picture book?" Your face lit up. "With the little mouse girl?"
Max nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah, exactly."
You hugged the bouquet into your chest and considered it again. You looked back at Hannibal, who hadn't looked up from his expectant fathers' website for a second all day. He surrounded himself with books about child psychology, attachment theory, developmental behavior patterns and somehow found himself on a tangent about institutionalized misogyny in medicine.
"I'm sorry, Max." You said, sincerely. "I really do appreciate you coming down here and apologizing, but-"
Max put his hands up and gave you a disarming smile. "I understand. Plans change."
"I just really want to stress that it's not you." You assured him. "I've kind of... really grown to like the idea of being a parent. And I think that was Hannibal's plan all along, too."
"I believe a congratulations is in order, then." His voice turned up in delight. "I'm very happy for you. Both of you."
You clutched the bouquet to your chest. "Thank you."
"Well, I'd better get going." He stepped backwards down the stairs. "I've got three pints of Ben and Jerry's in the backseat and Archie'll have my head if I come home and they've melted."
"Max, wait." You stopped him before he could get down the driveway.
"Hm?"
You leaned against the threshold and smiled warmly. "Don't be a stranger, okay?"
Max returned the smile. "Of course not."
You waved goodbye and shut the door. You hurried to the kitchen to put the flowers in water before you had to go.
"Who was that, love?" Hannibal asked, half-heartedly. He was still very fixated on his research.
"Max Thomas-Park." You answered, unwrapping the flowers from the decorative plastic.
Hannibal looked up from his computer, but left the room silent for you to fill.
"He wanted to make amends." You explained. You walked across the room to the china cabinet and selected a vase big enough to hold the ornate bouquet. "Brought flowers and everything."
"Chrysanthemums?" He asked, sniffing the air.
"I see your sense of smell is coming back." You commented.
"Interesting selection." He narrowed his eyes on the bouquet.
"Well, he said that was what he wanted to name the kid." You offered. "It was a cute pitch, not gonna lie."
Hannibal shut his laptop and examined the bouquet up close. "If he wanted to express regret, he would have done better to bring you blue or purple hyacinths."
"Well, like I said." You made a point to project a little more. "He said he wanted to name his daughter chrysanthemum."
"Mums are given to show sympathy for those in mourning." Hannibal continued, clearly having his own conversation.
"Hannibal-"
"I think your cousin got her hooks in him and he's planning to--" He cut himself off, lest he speak the unthinkable into reality. "That's why he brought mourning flowers."
"Max Thomas-Park is conspiring with Anna to kill our unborn baby?" You said, flatly, to emphasize how insane he sounded.
Hannibal held a bloom between his fingers and looked closely at it. "It's the kind of hint I would leave. For courtesy's sake."
"I think looking at parenting blogs all day has made you a little paranoid." You observed, knowing full well that an overprotective husband and soon-to-be father of your child was not a bad problem to have. Nevertheless, you shut the laptop and touched his cheek. "Come on. We're going to be late for the opera."
You heaved yourself into the passenger's seat of the car, feeling the seat give beneath your heavy frame. Every time you got into the car, you remembered that you needed to shop for a car seat. The thought just as soon left your mind every time.
“We need to look for a car seat.” You said as Hannibal shut the door, hoping that he’d remember.
“I mean,” Hannibal blurted out, still lost in his own conversation. “Max is a cultured and well-educated man. He has to know the implications of his flowers.”
You huffed, dreading to think that paranoid delusion was symptomatic of his parenting style. “Right. The twenty-seven year old data analyst who graduated with a finance MBA from UChicago is also proficient in the outdated and frivolous language of flowers.”
“In Italy, mums are only given as comfort for loss.” Hannibal said with undeserved conviction. “Exclusively, [F/N].”
You rolled your eyes and typed something up on your phone. You raised your eyebrows, feeling a bit proud of yourself for what you found.
“In Korea, y’know, the country that Max’s family is from,” You corrected. “The chrysanthemum is a symbol of friendship.”
Hannibal tensed up for a moment, tightening his grip on the steering wheel. It was as if he were trying to break himself out of a trance. “...I’m sorry, darling.”
“I know you’re scared.” You stared at his profile, trying to make out an expression. “I’m also... pretty scared. But you can’t take it out on a guy who has nothing to do with it.”
“I am scared.” He affirmed, but the way in which he did was a telltale sign that he wasn’t giving you the full story.
“Of?” You raised your eyebrow. “Finish the sentence, Hannibal.”
"I need to keep our baby safe." He answered. "And I cannot in good conscience let her come into the world knowing that someone wants to hurt her. To hurt you."
You sighed. "Hannibal, are you seriously still worried about Anna?"
"Don't underestimate the role privilege and entitlement plays in the decision to commit acts of violence." He enunciated carefully. "You of all people should know that."
"Anna has cultivated such a perfect victim image to project outwardly that even a hint of proactive violence would shatter it." You explained. "She's the poor girl who has things done to her. Her evil cousin ruined her marriage. Her evil cousin destroyed her career. And she's the innocent victim in all of it."
"Logically, I know that you can speak on her behavior with more authority than I." Hannibal admitted.
"No shit." You scoffed. "I had to live with her."
"Can we at least entertain the idea that she has something planned?" He pleaded.
"I'm surprised at you." You said. "You never really struck me as the overly-cautious type."
Hannibal shook his head. "With my own life, I'm willing to gamble. But not when it's you. And not when it's Imogen."
You tensed up. His admitted willingness to put himself in danger unlocked a core memory you had buried deep down. The only thing you knew about your own father was that he was willing to put himself in danger. To go overseas and die for fuck-all instead of live for the child he selfishly created then abandoned. He chose to give his life for oil. You didn't choose to grow up without a father and your mother didn't choose to raise a child without a partner. He made that choice for you.
"Now what are you not telling me?" Hannibal broke you out of your trance. "I know that look, [F/N]."
"Nothing." You shook your head. "You should really not plan on dying anytime soon."
"I promise you, I am not going anywhere." His voice softened. "Least of all, to Iraq."
"Okay, you're a pretty good therapist but you never told me you could read minds." You threw your hands up in defeat. "Are you a psychiatrist or are you Loki?"
"As fun as being the god of mischief would be," Hannibal smiled to himself. "I just happen to have a steel-trap memory and an admittedly quite obsessive fixation on the mental health of the mother of my child."
"I swear to god I never told you about him." You denied. "Not even in passing."
"You didn't have to." He assured you. "Beatrice did."
You were surprised for a fraction of a second until the information sat in your head long enough to realize it wasn’t surprising in the slightest. Beatrice took every opportunity she got to brag about her son's sacrifices. She never once mentioned the sacrifices he forced upon you. Only that her son was a hero.
"Did you get the 'don't believe anything [F/N] has to say about my son' speech?" Your voice flattened in complete non-surprise.
"It was a prepared speech?" Hannibal chuckled. "Pity. I thought I was special."
"She gave it to my first boyfriend." You rolled your eyes. "We were, like, fifteen."
"The root of your psychological issues becomes clearer every time we talk about Beatrice." He commented under his breath.
"I know." You conceded.
He pulled into the parking lot, turned the car off and placed his hand over yours.
"Your father was a coward." He said, bluntly. It was nice to hear what had been echoing in the back of your head out loud for once. "I know no country to serve. No god to glorify. I promise, you have the whole of me. My mind, body and soul belongs to you and our child."
You squeezed his hand. "I couldn't ask for anything else."

The Princess and The Pogue (pt. 4)
Pairing: JJ x Female!Reader / Topper x Female!Reader
Word Count: 5.5k
Warnings: swearing, angst
Part Summary: You wake up at the Chateau in JJ’s arms. When you receive a urgent call from Topper, you return to the Figure 8, much to JJ’s dismay.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
You wake up to the sound of a faint buzzing. A small groan leaves your throat as you attempt to stretch out your limbs, but are trapped beneath the weight of an arm. Your eyes flicker open and adjust to the golden rays pouring in from the window. JJ doesn't even shift, completely unaware of your moving. You recognize the sound of your phone buzzing and dig around the recliner. You two must've fallen asleep during the movie. Kiara and Pope remain on the floor, sprawled out like starfish. The couch is empty, John B and Sarah are probably in his room. You finally manage to find your phone beneath JJ's hip. You do your best to slide it out without waking him. Slowly, you climb out of the chair, placing JJ's arm down gently.
“Hello?” You whisper, suppressing a yawn as you step out to the porch to not wake the others.
“Hey, Princess," Topper's worried voice echoes through the device. "Did I wake you?”
You settle down on the couch in a ball, shaking your head as if Topper can see you. “No, No, it’s okay," you lie for his sake. "Is everything alright?”
“It’s Rafe..." he sighs. "He kinda got outta hand last night and he hasn’t been to bed yet. He keeps saying he’s going to go to your house. I don’t think your parents should see him like this.”
“What?" Your brows scrunch together in confusion. Slowly, the events of last night are creeping back to you. You remember all of it, but some parts are only flashes like photographs. "I’m not even home.”
“Wait, where are you then?” Topper questions, sounding just as confused as you.
“I uh... I stayed at Sarah's," you conjure up on a whim.
“Okay..." he replies, not sounding fully convinced. "well do you think you could stop by my place or something? Rafe won’t shut up until he sees you. Thank God my mom left for Atlanta this morning. I can pick you up if you need.”
“No, it’s okay. I’ll uh... I’ll borrow Sarah’s car or something. I’ll text you when I’m on my way," you determine.
“Okay, see you then," Topper agrees, hanging up the phone.
You drop the device in your lap, resting your forehead against your knees. None of this feels real. What are you even doing here? One minute you and Topper are stumbling out of the locker room and the next you're making out with JJ in a hammock. Holy shit, you made out with JJ in a hammock! Topper is going to kill you! He can't know. No, he can never know.
“Morning Baby," JJ greets as he steps out onto the porch. He rubs his eyes as he walks over to join you.
“Morning, sorry that I woke you up,” you apologize.
"Don't be." He plops down next to you, bringing his arm to rest between your tucked legs. His hand is warm against your exposed knee. A part of you wants to cling to him like a koala, but your mind is also on Topper. "Who was that?” He yawns.
“Topper," you answer truthfully, though it was hesitant. "Apparently, Rafe is acting out and keeps asking for me. I’m gonna head over there to calm him down a little."
“Wait, what!" JJ's eyes widen, processing what you said. "By yourself?”
“JJ, it’s okay! It’s just Topper and Rafe,” you snicker at his dramatic reaction.
“Yeah! Rafe!" He repeats, turning his body toward you. His arm between your legs moves to your back and is replaced with his free one. "The guy who gave you laced weed, Babe!"
Your lower lip pouts slightly as you're appreciative of his concern though it's not necessary. Impulsively, you bring your hand to his cheek and he leans into your touch subtly. “It’ll be fine, we’re not going to do anything. I’m just helping out Top. Once we get Rafe to chill I’ll be out of there.”
“I’m driving,” he names his terms sternly.
Your lips part as worry starts to build up inside you. “JJ, I don’t think that’s such a good idea. I-“
“I wasn’t asking," he cuts you off sharply, his lips pressed together. “Either I go with you and wait in the car or you don’t go at all," he offers an ultimatum.
'Okay, that's hot,' you think to yourself.
You sit stunned for a second. As much as you hate the name, you're still the Princess of the OBX, no one talks to you like that or gives you ultimatums. Yet, you can't help but be utterly compliant when it comes to JJ Maybank.
“Okay," you nod, trying your hardest to not blush, but ultimately fail. "As long as there’s no Pogue vs. Kook fistfights," you add to the rules.
JJ notices your eyes wandering to his lips and leans forward with a smirk. “I can’t make any promises.”
You grin as JJ brushes his lips against yours, bringing you in for a kiss. When he woke up JJ was nervous that he fucked up last night and that you'd regretted everything. It's just JJ always assuming the worst to avoid disappointment. His arm on you was him testing the waters. After a second, once learning that you're not going to pull away, he deepens the kiss. Your fingers comb through his luscious hair and grip the roots slightly. His hand on your knee steadily glides down your skin, moving between your legs.
"Oh no!" You gasp against his lips, realizing something.
JJ jumps, breaking his lips from yours and flying his hands off. “Woah, what! Sorry!” He thought maybe his hand may have set you off or something. He’s not sure what your boundaries are or anything, everything is still so new.
“I don’t have a change of clothes!" You tell him.
“Jesus," he rolls his eyes, finally able to breathe again. "Wear my shirt you’re wearing,” he gestures to the black AC/DC shirt hanging on you.
You raise your eyebrows. “And have them start a fight? No way! They'll know it’s not mine," you explain stressfully.
"You're right, tell them it's your boyfriend's and to mind their own damn business," JJ determines with a carefree shrug. Only after a couple seconds does he process that he called himself your boyfriend, having not discussed that yet.
You raise your brows at his remark. A faint laugh escapes you, as if that would go over well with the boys. “As much as I would love to, I don’t think that would go well considering Rafe is already losing his mind.”
A rush of relief consumes JJ when you don’t reject him. In fact, he’s over the moon when you don’t deny that he’s indeed your boyfriend.
“So..." JJ drags out, gliding your fingers up and down your thigh. "Did you give Topper a specific time?”
“No, just that I’d be over as soon as possible." You smirk, already knowing what he's thinking. "Why?”
"Because if I remember correctly," he purrs into your ear with a smirk. "We were rudely interrupted last night..."
As much as you'd love to do what JJ has in mind, you owe it to Topper to show up at a decent time. "We have the rest of the day for that," you move back a little, much to JJ's disappointment. He groans, making you giggle. "If Rafe acts up any more than he already has and goes to my house I'm royally screwed."
"Okay, fine! Fine!" He rises up from the couch and offering you a hand. "But I'm holding you to your word! I expect full tomfoolery later!"
"Deal." You lean in and plant a peck to his lips, making him blush.
JJ grabs the keys to the Twinkie while you wait outside. You go over the plan multiple times on the way over, mainly to ease your nerves. JJ will park a few yards down the road, hidden behind the hedges that line Topper's yard. You will tell Topper that Sarah dropped you off and that you'll walk home because you live a few blocks away. Checking on Rafe will only take twenty minutes tops, but you're aiming for fifteen. You've done this before, taking care of Rafe. Get sick, chug Pedialyte, have Mcdonald's delivered, and put him to bed.
You text Topper as soon as you're on your side of the island.
Heading over now!
A minute later, you receive a response.
Awesome! See you soon! Thanks again Y/N/N. Owe you one!
JJ does exactly as planned, making sure the Twinkie can't be seen from Topper's house. Reluctantly, he lets you out without him. He warns though that if you don't text him or give him some sign that you're okay within the ten-minute time slot he's given that he'll come in after you. You promise that you'll text him a smiley face as soon as you get the chance.
You knock on Topper's front door a few times and wait for the tall boy to answer. After a few minutes you call for your friends. "Top! Rafe!"
"I don't want you! I want Y/N!" You hear from the backyard and make your way back.
"She's on her way!" Topper shouts.
"Dude! Just sit down!" You hear Kelce add.
"Guys?" You pop your head around the corner and find Rafe standing on the edge of Topper's pool, fully clothed in his suit from the night before.
"Y/N! Finally!" Rafe gleams, gripping a bottle of champagne in his hand.
"Thank God," Topper grumbles to himself as he approaches you. "Thanks again for coming," he greets with a kiss to your temple.
"Of course," you smile as you move toward Kelce. You give him a quick side hug as you greet everyone. "When did you get here?"
"About five minutes ago," he answers, breathless from trying to keep Rafe from jumping in. "Apparently I'm not good enough because he keeps asking for you."
"Hey, Rafe, what's up?" You call over to the boy as stumbles over to you.
"Geez, you are the most gorgeous girl in the OBX," he grins.
"Oh am I now? What have you been up to?" You asking, knowing the answer. He smells of weed, sweat, and stale alcohol. His suit will no doubt need some serious dry cleaning.
"Eh, nothing too exciting," he waves his hand and places an arm over your shoulder. "After you disappeared from the party the boys and I went back to do a few more lines. It wasn't as fun without you. Where did you go anyway? We looked all over for you."
JJ crosses his arms over his chest. "Yeah, where'd you go?" He repeats as if you didn't explain it before on the phone.
You frown at your best friend. Why is he acting like that? "Sarah convinced her parents to give her the car and she took me to her house while her parents were are the party," you repeat the story you rehearsed with JJ.
"But Sarah was still at the party after we lost you. She told your parents that you left..." Topper replies slowly, almost as though he's accusing you of something.
"Yeah, I was waiting in the car," you answer without hesitation.
"Right..." Topper nods with narrowed eyes.
You roll your eyes at Topper and bring your arm around Rafe. "Let's get you inside."
"I wanted to go for a swim," Rafe whines.
"That sounds so fun," you pretend, silently begging him to go inside without any retaliation. "Sadly, I didn't bring my suit."
"Come on, Y/N, it's not like I haven't seen you in your underwear before," Rafe chuckles as you cross the threshold of the sliding door.
"Nice, Rafe," Topper sarcastically remarks.
"Oh no, I think I'm gonna be sick," Rafe coughs, hutching over next to you.
"I got this one," Kelce shouts, moving to get his friend toward the bathroom.
Now that Rafe is inside and in the "get sick" stage, you move on to ordering him McDonald's. Knowing Topper's house like the back of your hand, you walk into the kitchen, leaving the boy in the living room. You hop onto the counter, your legs dangle over the edge. As you tap through your phone, Topper enters the room.
"Are you feeling better?" He checks on you with a smile, a complete 180 from the attitude he was giving you minutes before. "I was out of it but I vaguely remember us stumbling out of the locker room," he chuckles.
"Yeah we kinda went a little too far last night," you giggle, recalling the memory. "But I feel much better."
Topper nods, offering you a faint smirk. He parts your legs, resting his palms on your thighs. "I'm surprised Ward let you and Sarah take his new Porsche considering he won't even let Rose drive it."
Your heart races, shit. You didn't realize Ward took the Porsche to the party. When Sarah got to John B's she was in a BMW.
"He must've had a lot of whiskey or something," you ramble out.
The boy nods, bringing his hands to your hips. "Interesting... and-" Topper scrunches his brows together, glancing down at your body. "What are you wearing right now?"
Shit.
"It's uh... Sarah's," you blurt out what JJ said before you can think it through.
"Sarah owns a ripped-up AC/DC shirt?" Topper snickers, not believing you for a second.
"What? You don't?" You try to play it off.
"Did you end up borrowing Sarah's car?" He changes the subject quickly, making your furrow your brows.
"She dropped me off," you stick to your story.
"That's nice of her," Topper comments, stepping closer to you. Usually, you'd like having him so close, but there's an underlying tension between you that makes you anxious.
"For sure," you mutter, avoiding his gaze.
"So you need a ride home?" He offers.
"Nah, it's okay. I'll walk," you rush out.
Topper brings his hand to the collar of your shirt, his fingertips gliding across your collar bone to rest on the side of your neck. "I kinda needed to see your brother anyway."
You swallow hard, trying to remain calm. "For what?"
"We're supposed to go out to the course later," he matches your quiet tone.
"Cool," you nod faintly, starring down at your lap.
"You and that Pogue seemed friendly last night before I came over... " Topper insinuates.
Your head snaps up, meeting Topper's burning gaze. "Pogue? What Pogue?"
"The one bartending," he snickers mockingly.
"The blonde kid? Oh, not really," your brows scrunch together, nervously fidgeting with your phone case. "I only met him last night, didn't even catch his name," you lie.
Topper tilts his head to the side. "Isn't he friends with John B? He's been around the Cameron's place a few times."
"I haven't noticed," you shrug.
You can't tell whether he believes you or not. His stern expression never wavering. You feel trapped with his hands gripping your hips.
"He's certainly noticed you, hasn't he?" The boy remarks with a wicked smirk as he stares at your lips.
You shift your head back, taken aback by his words. "What does that mean?"
"Oh come on, Y/N," Topper mutters your name, not one of his usual nicknames. "You're telling me you didn't notice him looking you up and down? It's why I came over to the bar after your dance with Rafe. I already had a full whiskey on the table."
You snicker at the information, utterly amazed by the lengths Topper will go. "You ordered a drink just because you thought JJ was "too friendly" with me?"
Topper narrows his eyes at you curiously. "I thought you didn't know his name?"
Chills course over your skin as your breath hitches in your throat. Now, you remember that you haven't texted JJ and you're not sure how long it's been.
"You want to tell me what's really going on, Y/N?" Topper presses.
"Nothing's happening! I've gotta go," you snap, pressing a hand to his chest to urge him off of you.
Topper grabs your wrist, removing your hand from him. Abruptly, he slams his lips to yours. Desprately, he brings his free hand to the back of your neck, pulling you closer to him.
"Get-" you mutter against his lips as you try to fight him off. Instinctively you punch him in the chest, causing him to break from you. "Get off of me!" You gasp, hopping down from the counter as Topper stumbles back. "What the hell Topper!"
His eyes grow wide, comprehending what he's done. He reches for you, but you cower away. "Y/N, I-"
"No!" Your voice cracks as tears threaten to fall from your eyes. "You don't just get to do that whenever you feel like it! I'm not at your disposal when you want me!"
He nods frantically. "I know that! I didn't-"
"Ugh, whatever Top. I'm tired of this interrogation! You and Kelce can babysit Rafe without me!" You wave your hands as your march out of the room toward the front door.
"Y/N! Y/N, wait!" Topper calls after you. "Y/N!"
He follows you out the front door to the driveway in a panic. He can't believe he just kissed you, the one thing he swore he'd never do without your permission. He was just so desperate. He could feel you moving away from him and was panicking that maybe you were keeping something from him.
"Y/N!" Topper wraps his fingers around your wrist.
You yank your arm free as you spin on your heels to face him. "Don't grab me!"
"Don't walk out on me!" He barks, instantly regretting it.
Topper knows this isn't the way to get to you, but he's just so worried that you're slipping away. This wouldn't be the first time you two have fought this way, having it out in front of one of your houses. Similar to an old married couple, you two fight as passionately as you love each other.
"You don't own me, Topper!" You remind the boy.
"I'm just looking out for you!" He reasons in a shot.
"You're the one who's acting like my dad right now!" You scoff.
"Oh!" He laughs mockingly. "Is that what being an overbearing friend is called now?"
You huff, turning over your shoulder to continue down the driveway.
Topper stays where he is, yelling at you as your march away. "You know what, fine! Don't tell me what's going on! I just thought we were closer than that! I must've misunderstood all of last year, all of those late-night conversations and that weekend in Bermuda or all of winter break!"
"Oh, my lord!" You groan, tossing your head back as you stop in your tracks. "Stop being so dramatic!"
"What's he doing here?" Topper questions, his volume at a normal level.
You frown, following his eyes as they linger behind you. Turning over your shoulder, you spot JJ standing at the end of the driveway.
You hide your face in your hands. "Oh, Jesus-"
"You have to be kidding me!" Topper shouts with a chuckle of frustration.
"JJ, can you give us a minute?" You request calmly, giving the blonde a weak smile.
"You brought him! You bring a Pogue!" Topper can't help but laugh, shocked by how this day has gone to complete shit in a span of fifteen minutes.
Nervously, you rush over to Topper, pressing your hands to his chest. "Top, just go inside, okay!" You try your best to keep the situation civil. "I'll be inside in a minute-"
"You're on the wrong side of the island, Pogue!" He points to JJ over his shoulder.
"Just stick a cork in it, Prince Charming," JJ bites back from his spot.
You huff, using all your strength to push a stubborn Topper toward the front door. He towers over you and is much stronger than you, so it's a tall task.
"Prince Charming? Really!" Topper laughs. "Wow, got a real smartass here, Princess," he tells you.
"Just for the love of all that good and holy go inside!" You beg of him with a grunt as you continue to guide him inch by inch.
"Not until you get this trailer park trash off my driveway!" Topper bitterly remarks, loud enough for JJ to hear.
"JJ and I will go as soon as we're done here," you tell him calmly with a huff, giving up on moving him.
You step back, preparing to leave, but Topper grips your forearms. "No way you're leaving with him! No, you're staying here with us!"
When Topper grabs you, JJ loses all cool and storms toward your friend. "Touch her again and I'll kick your ass, Kook!" JJ likes to think he's been rather rational and on his best behavior up until this point considering Topper is treating you as his property.
"JJ! Don't!" You intercept the boy and though he could easily move you aside, he remains in your arms.
"As if I'd leave her with your tripped-out friend and cluster of misogynistic asshole!" He points at Topper aggressively.
"You don't know a thing about us, Pogue!" Topper pushes.
"Topper! Enough! JJ back off!" You instruct sharply.
With a growl, JJ walks back down the driveway, refusing to turn his back on the Kook. Cooling down slowly, he takes your hand, squeezing it tightly as he leads you toward the sidewalk.
"You leave with him now and we're done!" Topper declares, making you stop in your tracks. "I mean it! You leave now and you're a Pogue!"
"You don't mean that," you shake your head in disbelief.
He laughs wickedly, "I promise you I do! It's them or us! You can't have both, Y/N!"
It feels as though Topper has sucked all life from you. The light that he's kept going inside of you for so long has burned out. He's been your reason to be happy since you were kids and now he's threatening to desert you forever. All because you're falling for a Pogue.
Kelce and Rafe appear in the archway of the front door. Kelce frowns, "what's going on out here?"
"What's that Pogue doing here?"  Rafe questions. He sees your grieving expression and his wild antics become a distant memory. "Y/N?"
You swallow hard, clenching your jaw in disgust at the Kook you once called your best friend. "Ask Topper!"
You yank your hand free of JJ's and run down the driveway in the direction of the Twinkie. JJ jogs after you worriedly. He unlocks the car and you rush to get in. As soon as you sit down, you hunch over in your seat, your head cradled in your hands. JJ climbs in next to you and starts the car. He glances over at you and a wave of guilt consumes. He can't help but think this is all his fault. If he hadn't gone to check on you, maybe Topper wouldn't have said what he did. You wouldn't be devastated and you'd acknowledge his presence.
JJ places a hand on your back. "Baby-"
Before JJ can finish you cower away from him, moving your body toward the window. His heart drops as a million worst-case scenarios start to play in his mind. You hate him. You hate him now because he cost you, Topper. Of course, he already thought about what it would mean if you had to choose between him or Topper. He just had a naive inkling of hope that maybe you'd choose him and be okay, be happier with him. Now, he realizes by your disgust of him that you would've chosen Topper if Topper didn't push you toward JJ.

The ride back to John B's is painfully silent. JJ had to turn on the radio five minutes in to drown out the overwhelming self-deprecating thoughts ringing in his mind. As soon as JJ rolls up to the end of the gravel driveway, you see the Pogues and Sarah gathered around the old bonfire eating breakfast. Not wanting to see them, you hop out, the car not even in park yet.
"Hey guys! Where have-" Sarah stops as she sees you run into the house. JJ climbs out of the van and slams the door shut, grumbling various cuss words to himself. "What's wrong with Y/N?" Sarah asks him once he's closer to the group.
"Topper called her this morning," the boy answers, pressing his lips together as he sits on an empty log. "Your brother was acting up and wouldn't chill out until he saw her. Long story short, I fucked up and intervened when things got tense with her and Topper," JJ hisses, clasping his hands together. "Topper told her that if she left with me that they wouldn't talk to her again so we left..."
The group is silent, exchanging worried glances. Sarah's jaw is nearly in the dirt. She never thought in a million years that Topper would ever say those words to you. JJ's knee shakes up and down as he hides his head above his knees.  He rises to his feet, picking up an empty can from last night, and chucks it into the words with all his strength. "Y/N won't even fucking look at me!"
"That's not your fault, JJ," Kiara assures her friend, breaking the silence. "You did the right thing! Topper is a jerk!"
"She'll come around. It's probably for the best that she's cut off from them. Those guys aren't good for her," Sarah adds.
JJ exhales deeply, facing Sarah. "Do you know what happened last year or in Bermuda and Topper said something about winter break?"
"Oh..." the girl's face falls.
"What is it? Is it bad?" John B asks from beside her.
"Not exactly. Topper and Y/N... Well..." she struggles to come up with the right words.
You and Topper struggle to navigate your way through the pitch-black bungalow. You two have just gotten dropped off from the cantina in town. Half an hour before, Topper was doing body shots off of you. The boy leads you through the house, his hand wrapped tightly around yours. Through the moonlight, you notice a pillar right in Topper's path.
“Watch out!” You gasp, tugging Topper back.
“Oh shit!” He stumbles into you, pinning you against the wall.
“I told you to watch out!” You giggle and peek around the corner into the living room. “Oh my god!” Your hand flies up to your mouth.
“What! What is it?” Topper rushes out.
“Rafe and that girl from Brazil,” you whisper, suppressing your laughter.
“No way! You’re kidding!” Through the darkness, you can see Topper's eye grow wide as he steps to the side to see around the corner.
“On the couch!” You instruct drunkenly.
“Did they?” He wonders.
“I have no idea!” You giggle.
“Holy shit!” Topper laughs as he returns to stand in front of you.
“He was blasted tonight,” you remember. “Poor Kelce went to bed as soon as we got back."
“I didn’t mind it,” Topper mutters, gliding his fingertips up and down your arm. “Kinda liked it being just us...”
“Topper,” you whisper his name warningly, a smile on your lips.
“What?” He chuckles lightly, leaning in closer to you.
You shake your head, finding it hard not to blush. “We broke up almost a year ago. You and Sarah-“
“Are broken up," he finishes.
“Yeah, and remember how devastated you were no more than two weeks ago?" You try to reason with him. "You still need to heel and figure out what you want.”
“I want you," he whispers, brushing lips against yours.
“Top, I don’t think-“
Before you can finish, he kisses you softly. It's not the first time and you know in the back of your mind it likely won't be the last.
“You’re all I think about, Y/N,” he confesses against your lips. “I need to feel you again. I miss the way you taste.”
“Top...” You mutter breathlessly.
You shake your head, despite not stopping him. “We shouldn’t...”
“We deserve to, don’t we? After everything?" He reasons, tucking his fingers over the band of your panties. "You like me and I like you, we’re both single, there’s history, why can’t we?”
A million reasons cross your mind, the most important one, your friendship. You and Topper have always been complicated. Things get worse when you add sex to the mix, which is exactly why you two formed boundaries a while back. Then again, you two toss those boundaries out the window every time you drink too much.
One hand remains on your waist as the other slips down to the hem of your dress. His warm fingertips glide under the fabric, against your thigh. “Don’t you miss it? How we used to be? When we couldn’t get enough of each other," he smirks as a memory pops into his head that he's certain will get to you. “Our ski trip over Christmas.”
“Okay yeah, you win," you rush out, instantly pressing your lips to his desperately.
Topper snickers against your lips as he tucks his hands behind your legs and picks you up. Your legs wrap around his waist he just so happens to know effortlessly the direction to his room now. Though he was completely lost minutes before.
"They dated!" Pope's jaw nearly hits the gravel.
"No way!" John B wears a similar expression.
"Yes and no. It's more complicated than that," Sarah tries to explain
Kiara struggles to piece together the picture. "But I thought you two-"
"They were friends with benefits before we were dating. Then, when Topper and I started dating, they stopped. Topper and I took a break in the winter and they started up again but stopped after Y/N decided that she couldn't do it anymore. Finally, they all went to Bermuda for a week after Midsummers. They didn't plan on anything happening, according to Y/N, but it kinda just did. They've always had "a thing" for each other. It's only ever been a fling though," Sarah finally manages to lay out the hectic story.
"And you're okay with that?" Kiara frowns, wondering how Sarah fits into all of that.
"Nothing happened while we were together," she shrugs but is certain of her words. "I know without a doubt that Y/N would never do that to me. Plus, it was never dating-like... it was more hook-up-ish if that makes sense?"
"This is insane!" JJ finally voices his perspective, rubbing his hand across the back of his neck.
"I need a diagram," Pope adds.
"Wait, so Topper and Y/N are on-and-off again. Meanwhile, Rafe has a thing for Y/N. Does Kelce play a role in any of this?" John B brings up a good point.
Sarah shakes her head. "Not that I know of."
"That's one fucked up love triangle," Pope releases a pent-up sigh.
"This is why we have the "no Pogue-on-Pogue macking" rule. That friend group is a mess!" Kiara reasons.
"Topper and Y/N have always been super close," Sarah describes solemnly considering the recent turn of events. "She must be devastated! Even if he is an ass. He's only ever been good to Y/N. I was low-key jealous of her when I first started seeing Topper. He holds her up on this pedestal," she admits.
Suddenly, the screendoor creaks, making everyone turn their attention toward the house. Y/N marches out, back in her dress from last night.
John B breaks the silence. "Hey Y/N! Where are you-"
"Sarah, can you drive me home?" You ignore the boy on your way to Sarah's car, unlocking it.
Sarah stands slowly from her position. "Sure, but don't you-"
"Thanks!" You cut her off, already climbing into the passenger seat and putting the keys into the ignition.
"I'll... I'll be back later," Sarah stammers in confusion to her friends.
Everyone watches as Sarah back out of the driveway then turns their focus to a devastated JJ.
"I fucked it up. I fucked it up!" He screams, squeezes his hands into fists until his knuckles are white.
"JJ, it's okay! She probably just needs a minute," Kiara rushes out.
"I have her for two seconds!" He bursts, his face becoming red with frustration. "Two fucking seconds and I ruined it just like I ruin everything else!"
"Just give it time!" Pope tries to reason with him calmly.
"Goddammit!" JJ curses before bolting toward the driveway and out of sight.
"JJ!" His friends all call for him.
"JJ come back!" John B shouts to receive no response. "Well this day is officially shit," the boy huffs as he settles back down onto his log.
"Do you think they'll be okay?" Kiara worries.
"Hope so," John B whispers.
After Sarah drops you off, you hide away in your room for the rest of the day. All you do is cry. You already miss Topper more than anything. You need him. You'll always need him. Then, on top of that, you're torturing yourself for how you treated JJ. None of this is his fault, but you treated him like it was. You cowered from him to keep from crying. You didn't want to scare him away, but in the process, you pushed him away. While you're losing your mind, JJ is losing his outside his dad's house with a half-empty bottle of Jim Beam in his hand. He's looking to pick a fight. He figures that if he's in pain physically that the pain he's inflicting on himself mentally will go away. You started the day wrapped up in each other and in bliss. You're ending it both in pain and willing to do anything to make it go away.

“AA-ahhh! Please don’t- don’t stop…”,
Your broken pleas reverberated through the room as Satoru’s deft fingers worked their way in and out of your sopping wet hole. You gripped the sturdy jacket that covered his shoulders, folding the fabric between your fists was the only thing you could do to maintain the last shred of composure you had.
He was like a passing cloud who offered you momentary relief and was on his way as soon as your were done, the fragments of longings that remained on your body etched deeper after every night.
Position after position, he went from your pussy over his lips to eating you out ass up and face down, all for the pleasure you couldn’t seem to get by yourself. You were now splayed out on his lap, face buried in his neck and one arm draped over him for support. Waves of his sweet scent and the euphoria assaulting your senses at the same time, taking you closer and closer to the edge.
It’s been quite some time now but the memory of your first encounter with your unfairly gorgeous cousin Satoru has been etched into your mind as if it happened just yesterday.
You were in the manor of the esteemed Gojo clan for a family event and even though you didn’t shared the same surname you were related nonetheless and were hence invited. It was a four day and three night celebration where the entire place was abuzz with excitement.
It didn’t really mattered to you, being here with a go with a flow kind of attitude, you just minded your own business until spoken to and not mingling with the faceless crowd of people you didn’t even knew the names of.
Thankfully your room was in the separate building which was a little bit further from where all the riotous events centered around. After just half a day of being in the middle of the chaos you wanted to find a way to unwind and that’s when it happened.
Stark naked and two fingers up your little cunt, there was no explaining or bullshitting your way out of this situation when the heir of the household, Satoru Gojo himself walked in in you. Feeble attempts to cover yourself and half hearted stutterings died in your mouth as soon as the young man opened his.
“ Wrong”, the deadpan reply of his made your already shaken up state worsen. Panic flooding in your system begged you to make excuses or atleast request him to not speak of this to anyone, after all families of high status are nothing if not conservative and you didn’t wanted to cause anyone any trouble.
“ I meant, y/n chan, that you’re doing it wrong”, not paying any mind to your internal conflict he continued speaking form where he stood near the door, “ don’t you know how to masturbate? I thought you were in highschool?”
His genuinely perplexed tone made you reconsider your previous opinions about the heir to the clan. Satoru, a guy who walked in on a relative masturbating, was supposed to show courtesy and leave the second he entered but instead he was rating your technique, which in all honesty may have been lacking indeed but you were desperate to cum and he seemed to pick up on that.
“ Since you’re clearly having trouble getting off”, he loosened the obi of his particularly formal kimono and shifted his uncovered ocean blue eyes towards your form, “Want me to teach you?”, his question made you gulp, then gauge your eyeballs out in disbelief. Sure you weren’t closely related and have only spoken once or twice but you attended all the occasions and holiday celebrations at their place and knew that your relationship was only platonic. His offer to cross that line made you flinch back at first.
Heaving a sigh he closed the door and sat cross legged on the tatami mat next to your futon.
“ Relax, t’s not a big deal”, flashing a toothy grin he leaned forward until your noses touched.
“ Afterall, I AM your big brother”
“ wait- you’re also in highschool!”, You retorted, “ I bet you’re a virgin too. So what CAN you teach me anyway?”, overcoming the initial embarrassment, your mouth started moving in its own accord only getting encouraged by his laid back demeanor.
“ Pfttt- so you get defensive when cornered? How cute!”, he giggled, a smile teasing at his lips at your obvious attempt to hide the shame burning in your core.
“Don’t worry, I know my way around a pussy just fine”, light hearted words fell effortlessly from his mouth and you could swear half of your brain was short circuiting because of his crude way of speaking. For all his regal appearance, he was just like any other highschooler, a year older than you but his stature and delicate features gave him a magestic aura that exceeds that of people decades older than him.
Just by the few encounters from the past, you figured he wasn’t one for following traditions or rules if it didn’t suit him. He was way above the rest, in his own distant world everytime you saw him, the school he went to, the things he had experienced were all different.
Forgetting the other's existence after passing each other by with a few formalities exchanged was all you had done with each. You two were never close or even friends but now the chance presented itself to take your non existent relationship to the extreme end through your bodies.
You wanted this.
To feel good. The hormones of youth pumping your impulsiveness you relax your muscles and lie on your back. You could clearly hear Satoru’s playfully indifferent chuckle from above when you slowly part your legs to show him the sides of yourself that even you have never completely seen.
“Just this once, okay?”
He said he was just teaching you how to masturbate but it wasn’t that simple. The only person to get naked was you and the only person who experienced the mind numbing pleasure, was also you. He only needed his deft fingers and mouth to make you feel better and for a while you didn’t even question.
That one lesson of self pleasure which you both were supposed to forget turned into an entire session as day after day Satoru would show up at your parents house unbeknownst to a soul and you both crossed the same lines of platonic relationship everyday.
The euphoria was endless but with a single rule that you weren’t allowed to touch him in turn and it goes without saying that the two of you never went all the way. It would always start with small talks about the day, even when you’d be talking, all your focus was on what was to come next.
That’s why after a few weeks of the detached pleasure he provided you, it got you thinking what he actually wanted from you. Satoru had already seen, touched and tasted all your body had to offer, never revealing any of his own.
You wondered if he ever felt sexually frustrated by always giving and never asking for anything in return. You knew he was not THAT nice. At least that’s what you believed considering his sadistic streak in bed. He did seem to be enjoying himself when he's messing you up so maybe he didn’t have many sexual urges that he needed to satisfy and was just acting on curiosity or maybe he had someone else, someone older with more experience who he didn’t constantly had a upper hand with and was able to see them as an equal. This thought alone made your chest tight, with an unnatural pain that threatened to break your heart.
You had to catch your darkening train of thought before it reached to the conclusion you were most afraid of. Knowing full well that this was just a fleeting moment that is only supposed to be enjoyed through a lens of carefree thinking, you push the budding feelings of the some very complicated emotions out of your system. The surge of jealousy you felt may have born out of falling in love with a family member but it was wrong on so many levels.
A love that starts with lust never ends well for anyone but as you were laying in his arms, the control over your body handed completely to him, your mind wondered how things would feel vice versa.
“ You seem distracted y/n”, Satoru looked at you, with his glasses off the beautiful azure eyes hidden beneath a delicate layer of white eyelashes filled your vison.
“ I’m obviously not doing it right if you have time to get lost in your thoughts”, putting you down on your bed, he started to move away and for a minute you got your hopes up, thinking your chance to finally have him completely and you cursed yourself for wanting at the same time. But no amount of berating would scrub off the insatiable thirst you had, for its roots had already made their way to your heart.
“Please let me help you too”, these few words took a lot of guts, letting go of all the inhibitions and threads of morality you fix Satoru with an unwavering gaze.
“ That’s okay babygirl, I’M the one who does the teaching here afterall”, you saw what he was trying to do, his airy yet gentle tone didn’t left much room for argument but the gray zone of your relationship was blurring to the point of confusion urged you to give into your clamoring emotions.
Without a second thought you jumped on him with all your might, closing the distance he put within seconds to cover his mouth with yours. You knew how much you weighed but despite your aggressive actions his sturdy form didn’t even deter form his position while catching you. You twirled your tongue over the roof of his mouth, the taste of your juices still lingering in there.
Hoping to have proven your resolve that wasn’t going to settle for getting brushed aside you break the kiss and look expectantly at him. An invisible bond between the two of you taking shape, strengthening the magnetism that attracted you to him.
“ That eager for my cock are you?”, Taking your face in one of his huge hand he makes you look straight at him, “You really want more? More than I'm already giving you?”, just one more push. You thought, with just a bit of coaxing, you were sure Satoru's wishy washy rules would crumble to make way for your upcoming actions.
“ I do. I know exactly what I want but”, steeling your nerves you face him, eye to eye, “ What do YOU want?”. The question was simple but the conflict swirling within Satoru’s eyes was evident and for the first time you realised that maybe this wasn’t just a case of casual hookup for him as well.
“ I want all your firsts. That’s all.” After a short stretch of silence he spoke, ironically the borderline obsessiveness of his glib response, like magic, cleared away the fog was previously clouding your mind. The nonchalance of his smirk should've been the red flag that made you rethink your life choices but the heat of the moment only seemed to ignite your lust.
Not uttering a single word, you quickly work on shedding him off his cloths, he doesn’t make any attempts at stopping you this time around, this knowledge pulling a smile out of you. By the time you reached for his boxers your hands were shaking.
Whether from excitement or nervousness you couldn’t tell but looking down through the veil of his heavy eyelashes, Satoru’s passion was evident.
Eyeing up his exposed body you still for a moment to take it all in. You ran you hands through his sculpted chest and down to his abdomen, your nails scratching the surface of his defined muscles. All of his masculinity contrasted with his oddly sweet scent and velvety pink lips that never failed to lure you in for deep soft kisses.
There’s no doubt girls must be always fawning over him and his perfectly smooth skin was something that even made you jealous. You were so captivated by his looks that you had to shake yourself free from your lovesick stupor .
You feel him up a little, hands running across his toned chest, you drag your nails through the rise and dips of his abdomen down to the contours of his defined V- line before turning your attention to his hardening member. Your breath quickens as your trembling fingers hook beneath his waistband.
Taking out his pulsating member you run your eyes up and down his entire length. He was big, to say at the very least. Bigger than you'd expected and more than you thought you could handle but backing out now would be straight up hypocrisy when your drooling mouth said otherwise.
With your ass right next to his chest, you start licking and sucking his tip with fervour, not wanting to waste even a single drop of his cum that you wanted so bad. You heard him moan lightly behind you, his voice only fuelled the fire that was burning your core. Having never given a blow job to anyone before you struggled in keeping a steady pace and his girthy cock didn’t make it any easier on you.
In just a few minutes you jaw ached and your entire face hurted but Satoru showed no signs of cumming.
In your own world again, you racked up your brain to figure out how to please him when suddenly you felt a hand climbing up your thigh. With the other hand he gripped your hips and pulled your lower half until you were straddling his mouth.
“ It’s a lot better like this don’t you think?”, as he spoke you felt his breath caressing your nether lips and you shivered in delight at the new position.
He snaked his hands in between your thighs and spread open your slit, glistening with your dripping arousal using his thumbs. Every single fold of yours now in display Satoru licked his plush lips before leaving open mouthed kisses on the exposed skin. His lips pulling out a series of appreciative hums as you desperately try to focus on your own actions.
Taking his hard length half in your mouth and half in one of your hand you tried to match the skilful movements of Satoru’s tongue that relentlessly lapped at your clit. After a few minutes of trying and failing to suck him up properly your senses got completely clouded by the heavy onslaught of that familiar release you had gotten used to.
You wanted to ask him to stop so you catch up to him but he the vigor in his actions and your own overwhelming surge of desires made you decide against it, the broken stings of his name died down with you still half choking on his length.
The only thing your lust laden mind could decipher except for pleasure was shame. To you, it was shameful how, being the one who asked to touch him, you were the one tethering near the edge. Before long your convulsing pussy was dripping with your juices, trickling down from his face that was still buried nose deep in your crotch.
Messing you up always filled Satoru with a kind of affection that he didn’t thought he was capable of.
Your cute whines getting muffled by his cock that you could only take half way past your llip sent waves of ecstasy down his spine. The cum that kept on flowing from your aching hole that he was the first to taste and the last as well took him to a high that no amount of pleasure could.
He couldn’t decide whether he wanted to be the provider of your everything who had complete control over you or if he just wanted to spend hours into the night, praising every fibre of your being that was so eager to make him feel good. This duality of his thoughts confused him further and in that moment he knew he had to see this to the end.
Your heavy pants was the only thing that could be heard in the otherwise silent room, guilt and pleasure leaving you tongue tied. You move yourself from above him, your quivering body falling like a sac just beside his own.
“ I’m sorry! I couldn’t make you-“, before you could finish your breathy apology he brought up a finger near your frowning lips to quite you down.
“Its okay sugar, it was your first time. Not a big deal.”, the soft notes of his voice took the edge off of the disappointment you felt, “I told you. I’ll teach you everything.”
Those eyes. Two shining orbs of brilliant blue gazed at you in the same way you found yourself staring at him. Watching over you like it was their birthright and oddly enough, the scrutiny made you feel completly at home just like the warmth of his long arms that wrapped themselves around you.
" Realx Y/n, I'll be very thourough with my teaching, afterall,", your heart thumped loudly in your chest in response to his smooth voice, "I don't do things halfway.
The pleasent fatigue that had taken a hold of your body slowly dissipated but the growing haziness of your mind got you wondering if you were falling in deepness of his ocean blue eyes but as soon realization hit you, you were already halfway through blacking out.
That you’d never be forgiven for wanting.
From that moment on, you knew.

They comfort you after a break up
Sugawara x you
Kenma x you
Suna x you
(Picking names was hard, I used a random picker wheel and apparently, my computer loves Tsukishima, Akaashi, and Bokuto a lot.)
Also Kenma's is longer... :)

Suga- 820 words
You were at his house in front of his door, sighing lightly before knocking. You could hear his footsteps, you felt stupid and guilty for waking him up at 11. He looked at you softly, only to turn into worry as he noticed your clothes were a bit messy, your cheeks were puffy, and your hair looks like a rat's nest. "Uh, Y/n?"
"Can I stay here tonight...?" Suga opened his door letting you walk in, immediately closing it behind you, grabbing your arms so he could look at you better.
"What's going on?" He quickly stepped to you, "Oh no no no, N/n, don't cry, it'll be okay, I'm here now." He sat you on the couch before sitting next to you, taking you into his arms. He cradled you, as you wrapped your arms around his waist, hugging him as you cried into his chest. He silently held me for a moment before he spoke again. "Y/n, do you want to talk about it? Tell me what happened."
You pulled yourself out of his chest enough to look him in the eyes, "B/n broke it off." Ugh. You don't need him to see you like this. You know that he wouldn't react very well to the breakup. When you had first said yes to B/n when he'd asked you out, Suga had gone to him and told him to take good care of you, and to talk things out if they got rough. Well, B/n left you crying and Suga is not happy to see you like this. You're sure he's thinking about stabbing him multiple times.
His expression went from concerned to shocked to angry to comforting in less than two seconds. "Oh Y/n," he hugged you, holding you tighter. "Did he say why?"
"He just wasn't feeling it anymore, his feelings had gone flat and run out." You cried into his chest, your salty tears staining his Polo shirt. "He wasn't interested in me anymore."
He rubbed your back, comforting you, "Y/n, it's going to be okay, I've got you. I won't let anyone hurt you anymore." He pulled you into his lap as he leaned against the back of the couch. "I know that it hurts, but I promise you I will never let anyone hurt you like this ever again." He kissed the top of your head and you cried harder.
"Sh...Sh...n/n... We should watch a movie." He whispered once you calmed down.
He reached across the couch and grabbing the remote. He typed in a movie title quickly so that you couldn't see. Then it was loading in front of you.
You admired how he was so focused on making you happy. You liked that he paid attention.
But of course, you paid attention to him too. You noticed how his hair is a mess, and how he was wearing a t-shirt, he knew he could always be comfortable around you. You loved the way he carried himself confidently when he walked. You loved when he called you, 'Love', it made you feel a different kind of special than other names. You picked him as your best friend for a reason.
However that may be, you also couldn't help but admire that when he reached for the remote, his arm was very close to you and his lean muscle was hard not to attend brain cells too. He held you tight and you could feel his strong chest, and his toned abdomen embracing you. When you looked into his eyes, you could feel yourself falling in love with their shade and color. When he spoke, his deep voice entranced your thoughts. You couldn't deny that he was attractive.
"Love," he said. "Are you watching the movie?" he asked, running his fingers through your hair, twisting the ends between his first finger and thumb.
You looked up at him, "Sugawara,"
"Yes?" he asked.
"I just wanted to say your name," you said. "I like to say your name."
"I like saying your name too." he smiled.
You looked into his eyes, and he looked right back at yours, he very slowly, leaned in slightly, his eyes starting to close. He lightly pressed his lips to yours, in a very tender kiss. He pulled away, slightly. A blush rising on your cheeks. Your heart fluttered. He smiled and you did too.
You rested your head on his chest once again and thought about what just happened. He kissed you. On the lips. With his lips. They were soft, and they pressed on yours ever so lightly and you wanted that amazing feeling again. The soft gentleness of his love pressed to your skin, your lips. You loved him, he was your best friend.
You looked up at him again, making him look at you. "Suga, what just happened?" You asked.
"I kissed you," he said. Then he thought for a moment, "Yeah, I kissed you."

Kenma- 1705 words
"Kenma?" You asked on your phone, your voice wavering. You could just feel the lump/frog in your throat creeping up because, first of all, even though Kenma was your friend, you always got a little bit nervous when you talked to him, once you had developed a crush on him. And second of all, you were on the verge of tears.
"Hey, Y/n. Are you alright? Do you need me to come by your house? Is there anything wrong? Or am I just overreacting?" he said. You could tell that he was obviously worried, just by hearing his tone and his many questions.
"I'm fine. But can you please come over? I need a friend." You stated simply, not revealing too much.
"I'll leave my place in a minute and I'll be over there as soon as possible. Okay?" You nodded in response, forgetting that he couldn't see me at the moment.
"Thank you." Your voice was barely above a whisper now. Kenma wouldn't get off the phone because he kept wanting to make sure that you were alright. "Dude I'm okay. I'm just not sure that you'll be if you keep this call on while running. I need you, though, so please just hang up and come as soon as you can." You had to be the one to hang up, even though it pained you to do so. At the moment, though, it had seemed like it pained him more.
~ Time Skip ~
There was a knock on your door and you knew who it must have been.
You knew that it was too early for your family to be back. You were home alone while everyone else was out at dinner. Somehow, you had convinced your parents to let you stay home, alone. They said that as long as you didn't party and no one, that you didn't trust, came into the house, they'd be fine with it and they'd probably let you do it again.
You got off of your bed, which you had ended up crying in, and started walking down the stairs.
Sweeping your hair out of your face and trying to smooth it out, you went over to the door. You took a deep breath, pulled down both of your sleeves, and put on the best fake smile that you could muster.
As soon as you saw him, you couldn't take your eyes off of him. You didn't even offer to let him in at first. All you did was take in his handsomeness. blond hair with black roots and his golden eyes; wearing his usual, laid-back outfit that you always enjoyed. It was weird to you how one person could help alter your mood, by even just the tiniest bit.
"Aren't you gonna let me in?" he asked, smiling at you, with a slight blush creeping onto his cheeks. He looked down at his phone hoping you didn't see it.
"Oh, sorry!" You apologized, gesturing for him to come into the house and shut the door behind him.
"Hey, I hate to do this to you, but do you mind if I take a look at what's in the kitchen?" he asked. "I had practice and I changed, walked over to my house and that's when you called. Now I'm starving."
"Sure!" You replied with fake cheeriness, going toward the living room. He walked into the kitchen, which had a pretty nice view of the room you were going in. "And I'm sorry. I should have let you stay over at your house." You faked a laugh, which screamed the word 'fake', and that gave your whole charade away. He walked into the living room, where you were about to sit down on the couch. Taking a seat next to you, he turned toward you.
"Y/n, what's with all of the apologizing?" Before you could respond, he added, "If you really wanna apologize, don't feel bad about things like those. Apologize for lying to me."
You knew that he wasn't going to let you lie to him anymore, who were you kidding to be lying to him, so you quit your act and put down your guard. You looked into his eyes and he could see that you were on the verge of breaking so he put his arms up as you crashed into him and wrapped your arms around him, starting to let out your sobs. You cried into his t-shirt and, strangely, he didn't actually seem to mind. He wrapped his arms around you and brought you in even closer to him.
When he started to rub circles with his hands on your back, you started to relax. Nobody had ever made you feel that comfortable before when you were as distraught as you are at the time.
You started to control your breathing and he just kept you enveloped in his arms. He put his chin on top of your head and mumbled, more to himself than to you, "It's okay pudding."
Once you had stabilized your tears and breathing, you looked up and took a quick glance into his eyes. You looked away quickly, though. You were fearing that he was going to judge you or use this moment against you. It's not like he was that type of person, because he really wasn't, but nobody had actually seen you so vulnerable before and you weren't sure how he, nor anyone for that matter, would respond.
"It's okay," he promised. "You can tell me anything and I swear I won't tell anyone unless I think it could help. And I'd tell you first. You do not have to feel embarrassed around me."
You looked back into his eyes and saw how sincere he was being. Just by looking into his eyes, you could see loyalty, sincerity, honesty, and care. You were super grateful to have him as a friend. He's not used to this, Kenma's not used to comforting anyone, or good with his words, so it shocked you a little.
"I, uh, you really wanna know?" You asked. When he nodded, You decided that it was now or never. "B/n broke up with me..." You whispered making Kenma sad. "And you want to know the reason why?" You asked dramatically, but before he could ask you gave him an answer, "It's because I've been dealing with depression and anxiety for a long time now. You know that. And it's been so hard and nobody understands. Every time people find out, they judge me. Or they just tell me to get help. But whenever I try to get help, nobody cares. Even if they do care, they don't understand, though. I hate sounding selfish and bitchy, but I just wish that there was someone who cared and understood, y'know? It's hard enough going through your teenage years, trying to figure out who you are, but then having depression and anxiety on top of it really sucks. And it's a really crappy thing to go through." He just sat there, stunned, so you continued. "I mean, having to deal with me has, probably, always been tough, but it's probably gonna be harder now. Plus, it's like what if I end up using this as my excuse for all my irrational decisions? I would be abusing this disorder, almost as much as it's abusing me. And it's just really hard to deal with. Because even the people who care a lot, and who try to understand what I'm going through, can never really help. I'm not sure if they just don't get it or if they just, honestly, don't actually give a crap. As much as I want them to understand, though, I really couldn't wish any of this upon them because nobody, even the worst of the worst, deserves to go through depression and anxiety. And I just don't really know what to do with all of these pent-up emotions."
By this point, you had let out all of your emotions and tears; that was enough explaining, at least for the time being.
"Y/n, don't ever feel like you have to keep secrets like those from me, okay? I care about you, more than you could ever imagine, and I want you to know that and to be able to open up to me."
"I know you care, Ken." You mumbled, leaning away from him.
You just sat there, gazing into each other's eyes, and he let out a sigh. "Of course I care. You're my best friend, and you have been for a while now. Hell, you're more than that! All I want is for you to feel comfortable around me. I mean, I don't really understand what you're going through and I also don't understand why you're going through it, but I do know that you're such an amazing, gorgeous girl that doesn't deserve any of this bull. I can't even begin to pretend to understand any of this so I'm not going to. I'll try to understand, sure; but I'm not going to act like I do because that'd be a lie. But I really like you and I don't wanna see anyone go through this pain, especially not you."
You had no idea how to respond to that so you just sat there, staring up into his eyes. How do you respond to that...? Kenma- a boy who never said much since you've been friends- just full-on rambled to you. "But what about all my flaws? Do you really want to have to deal with this?"
"You have a hell of a lot more to deal with than I do so I'm not gonna be the one to complain. And I don't care about your flaws. I mean, I do care about them, but I don't hate them. Your flaws are what make you the person you are and the person you are is imperfectly perfect and perfectly imperfect. As cheesy as that sounds, it's true. Because I have the power to see beyond your flaws and to see who you truly are, and I am going to use that power like I already have. Your flaws just make you even better, in my opinion."
Again, you were speechless.

Suna- 662 words
You ran to the gym quickly once you ran all eyes were on you. But all you could do was run to your best friend. Miya Osamu was confused as you immediately wrapped your arms around him. "Y/n?" He didn't have the time to look at you, they were practicing against Karasuno, and any other time you would've cared, Suna walked in with the other Miya twin looking at you in shock, but Suna ran over to you before Atsumu could open his mouth.
"Y/n?" He pulled you away and took in your appearance, you were supposed to be on a date with that guy, B/n. But now looking at you, your shirt was a mess and unbuttoned a little, your cheeks were red and puffy, your lip was busted a little, and your hair... god you were a wreck, he immediately wrapped his arms around you letting you cry into him. "Atsumu, get my jacket." The boy did as told handing it to him, before he wrapped it around you, letting you put the jacket on as he zipped it before pulling you back into his chest. "What happened, N/n?" You held onto him tighter, he sighed and looked at the other members. "Would you tell me if we were alone?" You sighed leaning up to whisper it into his ear.
"It... it was a bet..." He furred his brows at the answer, everyone looked confused as well.
"What do you mean...?" You sighed again tugging his shirt, he got the message and bent down a little.
"It was... a-all a b-bet... to g-get into m-my pa-pants..." You admitted embarrassingly. Suna's eyes widen looking down at you before his blood boiled.
"It was what?!" His voice was low and cold, it literally made you shiver. He didn't want you to repeat yourself, eventually, Sugawara came over rubbing your arm softly.
"What happened, dear?" Sugawara always gave off this mom vibe making you smile a little, but that mom vibe was immediately replaced with scary after you told him the story.
"Where're my knives Daichi?!" Daichi jumped looking at his boyfriend {;) I'm kidding, maybe..}
"Uh... it's that bad?" He looked at you making you nod, saying it was okay to tell him.
"Oh, it's that bad. It was all a bet." Everyone looked at you in shock. Tsukishima even gave you a small smile. You just nuzzled your way into Suna trying to make yourself disappear.
"I'm sorry... S-Suna..." he looked down at you before gently rubbing your arms kissing your head lightly.
"I knew you still had a thing for him, you lying bitch!" You immediately tensed up, Suna looked at the boy over his shoulder. He stopped short in his track as he noticed all the death glares he was receiving.
"What did you just call our manager?" The twins said together looking at the boy with murderous glares.
"Daichi, I need my knives!" That was what made him run, but all the boys followed, all except you two.
"You okay...?" You looked up at him and shook your head.
"Not really..."
"Hm, want to come over and watch a movie...?" He was ignoring what your ex said, making you sigh.
"You don't have to beat around the bush, I get it, you don't like me... so..."
"I-I didn't think much of what he said." You don't really ever see a blushing Suna, so it was a first. "I-I thought he was lying... but, w-who said I didn't like you back?" Your eyes widen a little as he looked away.
"Do you... like me back...?" All the boys stopped at the door hearing your conversation and like Suna would do if this was one of the twins, they filmed it.
"I... I do..." You felt a smile appear on your messed-up face. Suna looked down at you and smiled back. "I-I'll kiss you when your lip isn't busted." You both laughed before hugging your best friend, well now boyfriend.

Soulmates
Tumblr media
Soulmate imagine where your soulmate can hear the music you’re listening to and if you sing along they can hear you.
Also Mj’s birthday is changed but my birthday is tomorrow so I wanted to have hers close.
Warnings: a few swear words but that’s it
"You're always humming that song" I say to Mj as we're sat at the skate park after school.
"It's my soulmate. They are literally always singing and listening to it" she says stopping her humming.
"Or the song is simply stuck in your head, soulmates are a bunch of bull" I say kicking my skateboard back and forth.
"They aren't, you just don't have your soulmate yet, you're only 16" she says and I laugh standing up and I get on my skateboard.
"This soulmate shit is complete bullshit" I say skating off and she jumps on hers following me.
"Your soulmate definitely listens to you listen and sing Broadway all day" she says and I take my headphones out and she laughs.
"Let me guess it's either Hamilton or Waitress" she says and I shake my head.
"Waitress. But shut up" I say skating away faster and when we get to the split I wave at her.
"See you tomorrow bitch" I say.
"Bye fucker" she says and I skate left headed home.
I drop my skateboard by the front door and I run upstairs getting started on my homework and I slide into my desk chair spinning around as I hook up my music and I put my headphones on my head and I unlock my computer getting started on my essay.
"New York City" I sing tapping my pencil against my desk as I do my math.
"The city's yours, it's worth fighting for, it's all yours" I sing scribbling my answers down because I can't be bothered to write it down neatly and I flip my page over.
"A single mom who works too hard, who loves her kids and never stops" I sing putting on just the theme song and I sing along the whole time it's stuck in my head.
"Are you okay?" Ned asks Peter as he sits there silently.
"Yeah, I'm good. She's just keeps singing the theme song to Reba over and over" he says laughing and Ned laughs.
"Is she watching it?" He asks.
"No, she’s definitely just listening to the theme song, she's singing it like back to back" he says.
"Who do you think it is?" Ned asks.
"Honestly just when I think I'm getting closer and closer she throws me for a loop and I can't narrow it down" he says sighing.
The next morning I skate to meet up with Mj and she smiles at me and I smile back and we skate to school in silence, it being way too early for us to talk and greet each other "I'll see you in fourth" she says when we get in the school and I nod heading to calculus.
"My roots are planted in the past though my life is changing fast" I sing as I switch my books out at my locker.
"What are you singing?" Mj asks and I jump shutting my locker and taking my headphone out.
"Nothing" I say quickly.
"That was Reba" she says and I laugh.
"I was watching it a while back and it's been stuck in my head for like two weeks. I sang it like 40 times yesterday while doing homework" I say and she laughs.
"Your poor soulmate" she says and I laugh.
"I don't have one" I say.
"So much Reba" I hear Peter tell Ned as they stroll past.
"Oh my god did you hear that?" Mj asks grabbing my arm and shaking me and I nod laughing.
"Yeah but that doesn't mean anything" I say and she nods.
"It does though. To lunch" she says dragging me off to the cafeteria.
"Hey Peter, hey Ned" Mj says sitting down.
"Hey Mj, Yn" Ned says and I smile at him as I sit down
"How are you?" I ask.
"I'm good. Thanks for asking" he says.
"How are you?" He adds.
"Besides being sick, I'm absolutely good" I say.
"Hey Peter what's going on in that head of yours?" Mj asks.
"Uh nothing" he says looking up.
"Mhm, what is it?" She asks.
"Sorry, I was listening to somebody to love" he says and my heart drops into my stomach and Mj looks down at my phone that’s on my lap and I take my headphone out.
"That's not playing though" I say.
"I know, it's my soulmate" he says shrugging.
"She has the wildest taste in music I've ever heard. She listens to literally everything, one second it'll be Dear Evan Hansen and then The Bee Gees and then Stevie Wonder and she loves just one song by The Beach Boys called Forever, she literally listens to that like 17 times a day on repeat so she gets it out the way and then she'll put on Etta James. Also most of the songs she listens to are glee covers. It’s a rollercoaster because she’s always listening to music" he says chuckling and I exchange a quick glance with Mj because that's literally me and she smirks.
"Tell them about the Reba thing" Ned says and Peter laughs.
"I'm sure they don't ca-"
"Go head tell us" Mj says cutting him off and he nods.
"It's just for the past like 11 days she's been randomly singing and listening to the theme song to Reba and last night she sang it the most. Around like 6:15 she sang it for like an hour and a half back to back" he says and Mj laughs.
"How cute" she says.
"I guess, she has a super nice voice and she gives me new music to listen to. I got into Hamilton because of her" he says.
"Really? What song is she always singing?" Mj asks
"Take a break" he says.
"She loves to perfect the notes at the end" he says and Mj looks at me.
"You never talk about your soulmate Yn" Peter says sensing how quiet I am.
"I'm only 16, I turn 17 tomorrow so I'll know then" I say smiling at him and he nods.
"What are you doing?" He asks and I shrug.
"Probably nothing, my mom and dad are still gone and probably don't realize that it's my birthday" I say.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Mj asks.
"Because your birthday is on Saturday so you don't need to worry about me" I say drinking my juice.
"Yes I do, you're my best friend" she says.
"You can come with my parents and I on my birthday trip because it's too late for us to do anything for you so you can come and we'll handle the rest" she says pulling out her phone and getting up and I try to stop her but she's already on the phone and I sigh.
"Why didn't you tell her?" Peter asks.
"She has such a perfect family and my parents are always gone and I'm sure they don't even remember me. Whenever I go to her house I see this perfect family and I don't want to go to her with my shitty problems when she'd never understand anyway" I say.
"Can you be packed by four today?" She asks coming back before Peter can respond and I nod.
"Yeah of course" I say.
"Good, we'll skate to your house and then my parents are going to get us from there" she says.
"Thanks Mj but you didn’t have to" I say.
"I know but I want to, we've been friends since kindergarten and we've traveled before it's no problem, plus with you going my parents are trusting me with my own room so thanks for being responsible" she says wrapping her arms around me and I hug her back, kissing her head.
"No Hamilton though" she says.
"You invited me and all of my obsessions" I say.
"You like Hamilton?" Ned asks and Mj's eyes go wide and she mouth I’m sorry.
"Yeah, I'm obsessed" I say.
"What's your favorite song?" He asks.
"As a true fan you can't have just one. You have about 46" I say and I look at Mj and out the corner of my eye I see Ned and Peter exchange a look.
Midnight
"And I'm sure you would agree it couldn't fit more perfectly than to have a world party on the day you came to be. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you" I hear and I look over at Mj but she's knocked out on the other bed and I smile, flailing around silently as I freak out and I pull out my phone and I go to Peter's messages.
You
Thank you 💕
Peter
Of course. Happy birthday 🎉
I click my phone off, the biggest smile in the world on my face as I curl up and go to sleep happy.
"What's going on with you?" Mj asks.
"You're all smiles" she adds and I smile at her.
"I'm so excited and I just can't hide it" I sing doing a little dance and she laughs.
"What happened?" She asks still giggling.
"It's Peter" I say.
"What's pet- oh-oh-oh oh my god you heard him?" She asks and I nod squealing.
"How do you know it's Peter?" She asks.
"Last night at midnight I just randomly started hearing happy birthday and I thought it was you, but you were out and snoring and so I texted him a thank you and he responded with of course" I say dancing on the bed and she laughs.
"Come down idiot, we need to get ready" she says and I jump off the bed running into the bathroom.

Fake it till you make it
You were never really one to receive post from home. Your parents would send you a letter every once in a while, sometimes a small care package towards the end of term, but they would come in black lidded boxes tied together with red silk ribbon. This was the precise reason why you were so confused when a school post owl dropped a crushed brown box in front of you and flew back to the owlery.
“What the hell is that?” Your best friend, Draco, asked, voice laced with disgust.
“I have no idea” you replied, cautiously picking the box up looking for a clue as to who the sender was.
“Well open it, don't leave us in suspense, Y/N” Daphne urged.
You ripped the brown parchment off the box to be greeted with a cake box from a bakery in Hogsmeade. You lifted the crumpled box lid off to reveal a small square carrot cake. It had been decorated with white icing, and a note had been piped on with orange icing.
“Go out with me?” Daphne read. “Oh my, you’re getting asked out! Does it say who the sender was?”
Draco looked at you suddenly interested in this delivery.
“No it doesn’t, and I’m glad it doesn't because I definitely don’t want to go out with the owner of this cake.” You replied, pushing the box away from you and returning to your breakfast.
“You don't mind if I take that do you, Y/N?” Crabbe asked, licking his lips.
“Go ahead, Crabbe.” You pushed the box towards them and both him and Goyle reached for the cake.
“Acting as though you’ve never seen a cake in your lives, you disgust me the pair of you” Draco sneered. He picked up the parchment the cake was wrapped in with two fingers and began to stare at it.
“What are you doing?” You asked, looking up from the page of the Daily Prophet you were reading
“I’m checking to see who sent it.”
“I already did that, there was no name on it.”
“You might have missed it”
“I can read, Malfoy”
“Well there doesn't seem to be a name on here, a shame really, I would have enjoyed watching you turn him down and embarrass him in front of the whole school”
“Who said I would have turned him down?”
“You did, just now,”
“I only said that because its an anonymously sent cake, it could have been poisoned for all I know. Had I known who the cake was from I would have reacted differently”
Draco looked confused for a second before getting up, announcing he was going to make his way to potions. You and Daphne did the same a few minutes later and met up with him again in the queue outside the classroom. You had potions with the Ravenclaws, which according to the sorting hat was its next choice for you, but it believed you’d be better suited in Slytherin. It meant that you managed to get along well with some of the Ravenclaw students. Before long, Slughorn called you all in and you took your usual seat at the back, taking up a four-seat bench with you, Daphne, Draco and Blaise. Today's lesson was about sleeping potions, Slughorn announced he would be pairing you up rather than you working with the person you sat alongside. He began reading off a list, pairing Daphne with your friend, Alicia, Draco with Marcus Belby and you with Terry Boot.
You reluctantly got up and moved to a station near the front of the room.
“Morning, Y/N” Terry greeted, oddly giddy for a Tuesday morning
“Morning, Terry” you replied, giving him a small smile. You read through the instructions in your textbook and began to chop up your ingredients.
“Anything interesting happen this morning?” He asked, looking up from the valerian root he was chopping.
“I did get a weird package at breakfast.”
“Oh, you did?”
“Yeah, someone tried to ask me out, bit stupid though they didn't leave their name”
“I did! it was on the inside of the lid”
“Pardon?”
“Erm yeah sorry about that. What I meant to say is that I sent it.”
“Oh, right, well” You were honestly speechless, you had maybe spoken to Terry once, apologising for Draco’s remark about his mother.
“It's just you’re so beautiful and smart, and you’re nice”
“Terry I’m flattered but I’m just not interested”
“You think I’m ugly don’t you?”
“No- I”
“Don’t lie to me Y/N”
“No I swear, it's just” Your mind raced at a million miles an hour to try and come up with a passable lie. “It's just that I’m actually going out with someone already. We just haven't told anyone, you know how-”
“Who?” He cut you off, his face twisting with anger.
“I don't see how that’s any of your business” The sheer cheek of him was enough to make you angry as well,
“Well, then you’re lying, if it were true you’d say who. You do think I’m ugly”
“It’s,” You paused, blurting out the first name that came into your mind. “Its Draco”. You were already kicking yourself for spluttering his name out. Any Slytherin boy would have done fine, but you just had to say his name.
“Oh, right. Makes sense, you two are inseparable,”
An awkward silence had fallen over you and he barely spoke another word the whole lesson. Slughorn had administered each pairs sleeping potion on a cornish pixie, the pair who managed to keep their pixie asleep for long enough was due to receive a prize the next lesson. You returned to your seat at the back and grabbed your things.
“What’s wrong with you?” Draco asked, pulling the back of your robe
“Huh? what-”
“You look ill, do you need me to walk you to the hospital wing?”
“Walk the long way with me to defence against the dark arts?”
He nodded and the two of you left, splitting off from Daphne and Blaise.
You walked in silence for a bit
“Are you going to tell me what the matter is?” He stopped and faced you for a second
“I found out who sent me the cake” You admitted, continuing to walk
“And?”
“It was Terry Boot.”
Draco started to laugh.  “You’re lying”
“I swear but this isn't even the worst part” You were beginning to explain but he wouldn't stop laughing. “Draco, I’m serious! stop laughing there's more!”
He calmed down after a few seconds and you continued.
“I tried rejecting him nicely, but he just didn't take it. So I lied and told him I’m going out with someone”
“Oh? whos the unlucky bugger?”
You slapped his arm. “It's you”
“Me?” He looked genuinely shocked.
“I’m sorry it was the first name that came into my mind. But I just wanted to give you a heads up because he’ll probably tell his friends and the whole school will probably find out! Ugh I’m sorry Draco”
“Sorry for what?”
“Well that everyone’s going to think we're together”
“They could think of worse things, Y/N. Plus I don't care what they have to say about me,”
“you're not angry?”
“Of course not, people thought we were going out anyway.”
“Thank you, Draco, seriously”
“You know, we might as well make it believable, just until he moves on, something tells me Boot isn't going to let this drop.”
“What do you mean believable?”
“Like act like we’re a couple. Hold hands, you know all of that”
“But what about all your admirers”
“I could care less about them, your happiness and safety matters more than the opinions of the mediocre witches and wizards in this school”
You felt your heart swell a bit, you honestly didn't expect Draco to prioritise you like this. “So we should just fake it until he gets a girlfriend?”
“Exactly, just follow my lead”
You two ended up being a minute late to your lesson. He took your hand in his and the two of you walked in after everyone had taken their seats.
“Mr Malfoy, Miss Y/L/N, you are late to my lesson” Snape stated.
The whole class turned and looked at you, noting your hand clearly being held by Draco
“Sorry professor, we accidentally walked the long way from potions” Draco explained, swinging your hands.
“Two points from Slytherin, take your seats.” The two of you sat down.
“You and Draco?” Daphne hissed, knowing how long you had been crushing on him.
“Mind your business, Greengrass” Draco replied, sitting back in his chair putting his arm around the back of your seat.
“I'll explain later,” You promised, not wanting to piss off Snape, by talking in his lesson, any more than you already had.
For the rest of the day, you were ogled at like some caged animal in a zoo. Students from every year glanced and immediately dissolved into whispers with their friends. Word clearly travels fast around Hogwarts. You walked out of your last lesson with Daphne, getting ready to head to the Slytherin common room before dinner.
“You better be getting ready to explain this whole thing to me.” She said, pulling you away from the other students
“Yes, as soon as we get to our dorm-”
“Mind if I steal my girlfriend from you, Daphne?” Draco interrupted, appearing from what seemed to be nowhere.
“Yes I do actually,” She replied, pulling you further from Draco.
“Too bad, I’ll be taking her anyway”
“I swear I’ll tell you daph-” You explained apologetically, pulling your arm from her grasp.
Daphne stomped her foot like a toddler and turned to walk to the Slytherin common room. You, on the other hand, were stood with Draco, getting, even more, stares because the two of you were finally stood together, giving feeding truth into the rumour that was swirling around the school. He put his arm lazily around your shoulders and the two of you began your stroll to a more quiet part of the castle.
“I know you want to tell Daphne everything, but do you think that's wise?” He asked quietly
“Yes, she's my best friend, why wouldn't I?”
“I thought I was, I’m hurt”
“You are, you mug, but she is too”
“You know what a big mouth Daphne has, not to mention you know what she’s like once shes had a bit to drink, she might let it slip.”
You pondered what Draco had said. It was no secret that Daphne Greengrass liked to gossip, but it was also no secret that she couldn't handle her alcohol, spilling some of her families darkest secrets after a few shots. Not to mention had she slipped out that you lied about dating Draco it would be embarrassing for not only you but him.
“Ugh I hate that you’re right”
“When am I not?”
“But what am I supposed to tell her when she asks? She knows when I’m lying”
“Well we did spend basically the entire summer together, we’ll just say it happened then.”
“This is all so stressful! Why couldn't I have thought of another excuse? If I knew this was going to be the outcome, I would have agreed with him and said I found him ugly,” You dropped your head onto his chest. He wrapped both of his arms around you, swaying side to side.
“I know, love, but its too late to go back now”
You and Draco had been in this exact moment before in your friendship, only this time it felt different. You felt like you were more than two best friends consoling one another, it was almost as if you were just two teenagers in love. Only for a short while before reality came crashing down on you, it was all just fake.
The two of you went back to the common room to drop your school bags and robes before making your way to the hall for dinner. Despite it being late, there was still a large proportion of students sat down to eat. You took a deep breath as Draco’s hold on your hand tightened and the two of you walked in. Every single pair of eyes in the room were trained on you, it felt like an eternity before you finally got to your seats on the Slytherin table.
“Finally, you have no excuse not to explain yourself to me now, Y/N” Daphne scoffed.
“Don’t get your knickers in a twist, Greengrass. Were going out, that's it, what more do you want?” Draco retorted.
“Id like to know when, how, where. All of the details, Malfoy”
“Well we started going out in the holidays-” You began to explain before she cut you off.
“Pardon, the summer? As in 6 months ago? You have been hiding your relationship from me, your best friend for 6 whole months?” Daphne’s voice began to rise.
“Daphne-”
“Watch how you talk to my girlfriend, Greengrass, otherwise you'll find you can't speak another word.” Draco practically snarled at her, he looked as though he was about to rip her head off.
“I wanted to tell you, Daph I really did, I just wanted to keep it between Draco and I for a while, just in case it didn't work out, so it wouldn't be awkward.” You explained calmly.
“Hm, I guess that's a valid reason, you’re forgiven for now. But from here on out, I want to know everything. Did you at least find out who that ghastly cake was from?”
“Terry Boot”
She almost choked on her rice. You filled her goblet with some water and slid it to her.
“He confessed to me in potions, I tried to say I wasn't interested but he basically forced me to admit that I had a boyfriend”
“You poor thing,”
She had quickly forgotten and moved onto the next piece of Hogwarts gossip that took her fancy. Draco was engrossed with his own conversations and it hit you, your new reality was Draco Malfoy’s girlfriend, that was until Terry Boot managed to get his own one. It was something you had wanted since the second year, you felt as though you should have been over the moon, one of your most wild fantasies was playing out right in front of you, but you weren't. It wasn't going to last, you were sure he didn't even like you that way, he was just being the kind but overprotective Draco you had got to know over the past few years.
Once you had filled yourselves up with dinner, you and your friends made your way back to the common room, Draco's hand found yours and he held it as you walked down to the dungeons. Once you had got to the common room, Blaise forced a group of fourth years off the sofa in front of the fire and pulled out his deck of exploding snap, which you all played as a group. The warmth of the fire coupled with the comfort of the sofa made you want to curl up and fall asleep, you could feel your eyelids drooping as you tried and failed to suppress a yawn.
“Tired, love?” He asked, tilting his head.
“A little bit, I think I’ll head up to sleep in a bit” You responded, another small yawn passing your lips.
He nodded and simply pulled you into his side, your head falling on his chest and his arm around you resting on your hip
“God, you two are disgusting” Pansy grumbled as she walked past, taking note of you and Draco in your loved-up state.
“We all know you're just jealous you’re not in Y/N’s place” Crabbe laughed.
“Shut up Crabbe,” She snapped, trying to hit him around the back of his head but failing.
Your whole group laughed as she stomped away. You only managed to last another hour before you really were going to fall asleep, though you were reluctant to move from your position, you got up and announced you'd be heading to bed.
“I think I’ll join you.” Daphne yawned, getting up and stretching.
You made a move to leave but were pulled back by Draco.
“Gonna leave without saying goodnight were you?” He smiled
You laughed, “of course not, goodnight, Draco”
He kissed the back of your hand, sending a jolt of electricity from where his lips touched right to your brain, “goodnight, princess”
You smiled and headed up to bed, feeling as though you were floating on cloud 9.
Over the next few days, you had fallen into a routine, he’d wait at the bottom of the stairs from your dormitory for you to come down every morning, as soon as he saw you, he’d chirp a “good morning, love” before walking you to breakfast. He would walk you to and from every lesson that you didn’t have with him, he even went as far as waiting outside the girl's bathroom for you so he could walk with you back to the library. You had to admit it, Draco Malfoy was the best fake boyfriend.
One cold Wednesday afternoon, you were in the middle of a potions lesson, Slughorn was going on and on about the properties of belladonna, he even hinted it would come up in your exam, but all you could focus on was the contractions of your uterus. The first two days of your period were the worst, horrific cramps, bloating, tender boobs and hot flushes. Madam Pomfrey was aware of how debilitating your period was and would always send owls to your teachers informing them you would be absent from lessons, you didn't even care that Snape would find out about your period, all you wanted was to lie in bed. You tried your hardest to ride out the pain for the next 40 minutes of the lesson before you could go to the hospital wing and get something for the pain.
“Just ask Slughorn to leave early,” Daphne whispered.
“This is going to be on the exam, I can't just leave now”
“Y/N, you are literally dying, I’ll give you my notes, just please go to the hospital wing”
“I’ll be fine,”
You took a deep breath and shrugged your robe off you in an attempt to cool down. Draco slide you a note
‘Everything okay?’
‘Yeah, just my period, nothing to worry about :)’
‘Are you sure? I know how bad they get’
‘I’ll be fine, focus on the lesson!’
‘How can I focus when you’re in pain’
‘Oh shut up, I’ll be fine, I’m a big girl’
Draco read your last message and slid the sheet of parchment into his textbook. Another jolt of pain ran across your abdomen, causing you to squeeze your belly in pain. Draco’s arm shot up almost instantaneously.
“Professor, Y/N isn't feeling well, may I escort her to the hospital wing?”
“Of course m’boy”
You glared at Draco before collecting your things. and trying to discreetly leave the classroom without disrupting the lesson further.
“Do feel better Y/L/N” Slughorn called from the front of the room.
“Thank you, professor” you mumbled, feeling slightly embarrassed.
“Here give me your bag,” He said, going to grab your bag off your shoulder.
“I’m on my period, Draco, not dying”
He held out his hand anyway and you handed him your bag. He knew you hated being touched too much, it made you feel hotter, so he linked his pinky with yours.
“The corridors are empty, you don't need to hold my hand,” you stated, looking around
“I don't need to but I like to, your hands are soft” You saw him blush slightly as he said it. You simply smiled as the two of you walked into the hospital wing.
“Ah, miss Y/L/N, I’ve been expecting a visit from you” Madam Pomfrey went into her store cupboard and produced a violet potion and measured a dose. “You know the drill, come back tomorrow after breakfast and I’ll give you more, I’ll send an owl to your teachers, what’s your next lesson?”
“We have transfiguration” Draco answered for you while you finished downing your medicine.
“Right, well I’ll tell Professor McGonagall you'll both be absent from the lesson, be sure to catch up with the missing work Mr Malfoy”
You thanked Madam Pomfrey before returning to the Slytherin dormitory. The boys had managed to disable the charm that prevented them from coming up into the girls' dorms, so Draco followed you up.
“Draco, honestly I’m fine.” You signed, dropping onto your bed
“You don’t look fine,” He crossed his arms and looked down at you.
“I just need to get into some comfy clothes and lie down and I’ll be fine, I even have chocolate in my trunk.” You crouched down and opened your trunk and fished out your slab of Honeydukes chocolate. surprised to find that you only had 6 squares left.
“That’s hardly enough, wait here.”
“Dra-”
He turned and went down the stairs, leaving you alone. You changed out of your skirt and into some comfy trousers and were about to unbutton your blouse when Draco returned with a full slab of Honeydukes chocolate and his old quidditch jumper.
“I remember you saying how soft this was, I don't need it anymore, you're free to keep it,” He said sheepishly
“Thank you, Draco, seriously” He smiled at you and just stood there, looking at you. “Erm, I need to change,”
He slowly turned around and you unbuttoned your blouse and unhooked your bra throwing it on your bed before putting the jumper on.
“I’m done,”
He turned around, his eyes immediately landing on your black lace bra on your bed, you followed his gaze and quickly snatched the bra and stuffed it back in your trunk.
“I had you pegged for a cotton bra girl myself,” He smirked
“If you think that's scandalous, you should see what I wear on the bottom” you replied, winking. You got under your covers and began to open the chocolate, Draco sat awkwardly at the foot of your bed.
“Why are you sitting like that?”
“I’ve never been in your dormitory before,”
“It's literally the same as yours, come, sit” You moved a bit to the side and he came and sat next to you, stretching his legs out. At this point it was a reflex, his arms wrapped themselves around you as you buried yourself into him.
“Draco,”
“Hmmm”
“Thank you,”
“You’ve said that already”
“I mean it, honestly,”
“Anything for you, princess”. You two fell into a comfortable silence as you lay on his chest, being lulled to sleep by his chest rising and falling.
You were awoken by a loud squeal, you blinked and slowly opened your eyes.
“You two are just the cutest!” Daphne shouted.
You looked around confused for a moment until you saw what was in Daphne’s hand. She handed you a small bouquet of roses with a note attached that read:
I didn't have the heart to wake you, I’ll bring you dinner if you're not up to coming down, I hope you feel better, love - D x
You smiled as you conjured up a small vase filled with water. It was time to admit it, you were deeply, truly and utterly in love with Draco Malfoy
A Hogsmeade trip had been planned for that weekend, at first, you were planning on skipping it, but after some convincing, you decided you’d go. You decided to replenish your potions store, as well as getting some more quills and ink. Draco treated you to some sweets from Honeydukes, before you and your group headed into the three broomsticks to grab a butterbeer before you returned to the castle. You sat in a booth with Blaise, Daphne, Goyle and Pansy, choosing to squeeze yourself right in the corner. Blaise got up to order the drinks returning a few moments later with six butterbeers in his hands. The six of you fell into a discussion about the quidditch tournament, the boys getting heated over Ravenclaw’s win over Slytherin in their last match. After a while Daphne excused herself to go to the bathroom, only to run back a few moments later.
“You will not guess who I just saw snogging Hannah Abbott in the women’s toilet” Daphne yelled, sitting back in her seat at the end of the table.
You all looked at her, waiting for the other shoe to drop.
“Terry fucking Boot!”
The whole group looked at you and Draco. At that moment you felt a million different emotions, recently it had felt like you weren't faking anymore, you had tricked yourself into thinking that it was all real, forgetting about your deal with Draco. But you knew that this revelation meant it was all over, you and Draco would fake an amicable break-up and remain to be best friends and the thought of that killed you.
“Well, at least now he won't get hexed for looking at my girlfriend” Draco joked.
You smiled and took a sip of your butterbeer. Once you had all finished your drinks, you returned to the castle and settled in your spot in the common room. You were sat with Draco but all you could think about was how this little bubble you were in was going to burst soon. You practically zoned out, your eyes losing focus as you stared at the fire.
“Are you quite alright? You look as though you’ve been stunned” Daphne asked, looking confused.
“Mmm I don’t feel too good, I don't think being out in the cold was a good idea” you mumbled, blinking slowly.
Daphne came and felt your forehead.
“You do feel a bit warm, why don’t you go lie down for a while”
You agreed and went up to lie in your bed for a while. You ended up skipping dinner too, you played up your symptoms to Daphne and she left you alone out of fear that she’d catch whatever you had. You didn’t end up getting out of bed until the next morning, barely having the energy to brush your teeth before you trudged to the great hall for breakfast in your pyjamas. Draco saw you come in and his eyes lit up, he was worried after Daphne told him you were sick. As soon as you sat down he began to pile food into your plate.
“Whoa calm down, I’ll barely be able to eat half of that” You pushed his hand back to the bowl of baked beans prompting him to drop the spoon back into the bowl.
“You haven’t eaten since yesterday, you must be starving, love”
You shook your head reaching for a cereal bowl instead. He looked at you concern filling his face. He kept glancing over at you while you ate, making note of your unusual silence. Once he had noticed you stopped eating your cereal squeezed your hand under the table, you pulled your hand away and acted as though you were scratching an itch on the side of your neck.
“Y/N why don’t we take a visit to madam Pomfrey, just to make sure you’re okay”
“I’m fine Draco, it’s probably just a cold”
“Draco’s right, you should make sure it’s nothing contagious or something” Daphne agreed
“Fine, let’s go then” You dusted your pyjamas off and got up, defeated.
You followed Draco out of the great hall. He began walking the opposite direction to the hospital wing and pulled you into a deserted part of the corridor.
“Are you okay?” He asked immediately, his tall frame towering over you.
“I’m just tired Draco, that’s all”
“You can’t lie to me, I’m your best friend”
“I’m not lying, I’m just tired, I haven’t been sleeping well the past few days”
“Has someone said something? Threatened you? I swear if I get my hands on them”
“No ones done anything. You don’t need to keep the overprotective boyfriend act up anymore, we’re alone and Terry has a girlfriend now”
“Act?” His face had fallen and he turned to look away
“Draco?”
“You really thought it was all an act?”
“Was it not? You said it yourself, we were faking it until he got a girlfriend so that he wouldn’t try and make a move on me”
“How can you be one of the smartest witches in our house but be so dense at the same time. “
“Excuse me,”
“It wasn't an act for me”
Your heart stopped.
“What?” you honestly couldn’t believe what you were hearing
“It wasn't an act for me. I didn't do all that just because I wanted Boot to back off, I did it cause I’ve fancied you for a while” Draco began pacing, as he explained himself
“but-”
“You said you would have gone out with the sender of that cake if it wasn't anonymously sent. I don't know why, but it didn’t sit right with me. I didn't like the fact that you were willing to go out with someone that wasn't me.”
“So you waited for me to find out who did send it, so you could propose this crazy idea?”
“I didn’t expect you to find out, hell I didn't even know I was going to say it, but once you agreed to go along with it, I felt like maybe you’d see that us being more than just best friends wasn't that bad, and maybe you'd be willing to give me a chance.”
“Can I let you in on a little secret?”
He stopped and looked down at you and nodded,
“I've fancied you since second year”
He smiled and grabbed both your hands
“And since we’ve been fake going out, I’m pretty sure I’m in love with you now,”
“Say that again”
“I’m in love with you Draco,”
“Say it again,” he said, placing his hands on your cheeks and staring into your eyes with adoration.
You laughed “I love you”
“I love you so much more, princess. Way more than I can even explain”
You beamed up at him, you felt like you could honestly explode at this point. all those years of crushing on him and wishing you could tell him how you felt, and here you were.
“I'm going to kiss you” He whispered
“I think it's about time you did”
He moved slowly before giving you a sweet but passionate kiss. His lips were softer than you thought they'd be.
“At least now we don't need to worry about telling our friends,” You joked, resting your forehead against his.
He laughed and kissed you again. Something you know you would never get tired of. As cliche as it seemed, you did it, your best friend was now your boyfriend. It was just you and Draco, safe in your perfect bubble.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue Quotes that I Loved
This is just a list of quotes or excerpts that I highlighted while reading the book- literally all of them and there are a lot. I’m going to go ahead and say spoilers below just because there are so many quotes and while I don’t think the quotes actually spoil anything, I don’t want to accidentally spoil something for someone.
Some of the quotes might seem a little weird out of context but these are quotes that hit close to home, made me say “Hell, yeah, Addie!!!", quotes that made me laugh, and then basically all of the other quotes that I loved while reading.
I know that I didn't completely fall in love with this book like so many other people did, but it was still so beautifully written and there were so many amazing quotes in this book.
And just a heads up, I read this on my kindle, just in case the page numbers I list don’t match with your copy of the book.
Spoilers Below:
Quotes that Hit Close to Home
“Three and twenty, a third of a life already buried.” Page 39
“The day passes like a sentence. The sun falls like a scythe.” Page 41
“[...] and when she dies it will be as though she never lived.” Page 42
“I am so tired of not having choices, so scared of the years rushing past beneath my feet. I do not want to die as I’ve lived, which is no life at all. I—” Page 46
“[...] she swears sometimes her memory runs forward as well as back, unspooling to show the roads she’ll never get to travel. But that way lies madness, and she has learned not to follow.” Page 61
“His parents meant well, of course, but they always told him things like Cheer up, or It will get better, or worse, It’s not that bad, which is easy to say when you’ve never had a day of rain.” Page 97
“But then a night would go long, and a day would start late, and now he feels like there’s no time at all. Like he is always late for something.” Page 119
““I see someone who cares,” she says slowly. “Perhaps too much. Who feels too much. I see someone lost, and hungry. The kind of person who feels like they’re wasting away in a world full of food, because they can’t decide what they want.”” Page 140
““Life is so brief, and every night in Rennes I’d go to bed, and lie awake, and think, there is another day behind me, and who knows how few ahead.”” Page 167
““I mean feeling like it’s surging by so fast, and you try to reach out and grab it, you try to hold on, but it just keeps rushing away. And every second, there’s a little less time, and a little less air, and sometimes when I’m sitting still, I start to think about it, and when I think about it, I can’t breathe. I have to get up. I have to move.”” Page 177
““Small places make for small lives. And some people are fine with that. They like knowing where to put their feet. But if you only walk in other people’s steps, you cannot make your own way. You cannot leave a mark.”” Page 179
“It was such a lovely jar she had kept them in. But the glass is cracking now. The water leaking through.” Page 215
“Moments of joy register as brief, but ecstatic. Moments of pain stretch long and unbearably loud.” Page 225
“[...] you’ve never felt called to any one thing. There is no violent push in one direction, but a softer nudge a hundred different ways, and now all of them feel out of reach. Page 226
“[...] in wanting to live, to learn, to find yourself, you’ve gotten lost.” Page 226
“He lets it ring, holds his breath until it stops. He tells himself that if they call again, he’ll answer. If they call again, he’ll tell them he is not okay. But the phone doesn’t ring a second time.” Page 229
“He misses the structure, misses the path, misses the purpose. And maybe it wasn’t a perfect fit, but nothing is.” Page 257
“That he’d blinked and somehow years had gone by, and everyone else had carved their trenches, paved their paths, and he was still standing in a field, uncertain where to dig.” Page 283
“And those first two years, he was happy. He had Bea, and Robbie, and all he had to do was learn. Build a foundation. It was the house, the one that he was supposed to build on top of that smooth surface, that was the problem. It was just so … permanent.” 283
“Choosing a class became choosing a discipline, and choosing a discipline became choosing a career, and choosing a career became choosing a life, and how was anyone supposed to do that, when you only had one?” Page 283
““The vexing thing about time,” he says, “is that it’s never enough. Perhaps a decade too short, perhaps a moment. But a life always ends too soon.”” Page 333
“He is all restless energy, and urgent need, and there isn’t enough time, and he knows of course that there will never be. That time always ends a second before you’re ready. That life is the minutes you want minus one.” Page 421
“The world is wide, and he’s seen so little of it with his own eyes. He wants to travel, to take photos, listen to other people’s stories, maybe make some of his own. After all, life seems very long sometimes, but he knows it will go so fast, and he doesn’t want to miss a moment.” Page 438
Quotes that Made Me Laugh
“Henry loves his sister, he does. But Muriel’s always been like strong perfume. Better in small doses. And at a distance.” Page 120
““Sorry, Book,” she mutters, lifting the cat gingerly onto the back of the old chair, where he does his best impression of an inconvenienced bread loaf.” Page 248
““It’s Halloween!” defends Robbie. “It’s the twenty-third,” says Henry, but Robbie treats holidays the way he treats birthdays, stretching them from days into weeks, and sometimes into seasons.” Page 274
Quotes that made me say “Hell, yeah, Addie!!!”
“If she must grow roots, she would rather be left to flourish wild instead of pruned, would rather stand alone, allowed to grow beneath the open sky. Better that than firewood, cut down just to burn in someone else’s hearth.” Page 31
“[...]from this moment forward, her life will be her own.” Page 48
“There is a defiance in being a dreamer.” Page 117
““It has only been two years,” she says. “Think of all the time I have, and all the things I’ll see.”” Page 132
“It will take time, but time is the one thing Addie has plenty of. So she opens her eyes, and starts again.” Page 192
“But then Addie straightens, lifts her chin, smiles with an almost defiant kind of joy. “But isn’t it wonderful,” she says, “to be an idea?”” Page 261
Quotes that I Love
“[...] never pray to the gods that answer after dark.” Page 7
“What is a person, if not the marks they leave behind?” Page 15
“The things that last, even when memories don’t.” Page 16
“As if you couldn’t like one place and want to see another.” Page 23
“Books, she has found, are a way to live a thousand lives—or to find strength in a very long one.” Page 35
“The kind of place where time slips and blurs, where a month, a year, a life can go missing.” Page 39
“[...] attraction can look an awful lot like recognition in the wrong light.” Page 56
“The rise isn’t worth the fall.” Page 56
“Being trapped, buried alive, these are the things that scare you when you cannot die.” Page 57
“Funny, how some people take an age to warm, and others simply walk into every room as if it’s home.” Page 58
“Déjà vu. Déjà su. Déjà vécu. Already seen. Already known. Already lived.” Page 66
“[...]a lifetime of knowing brushed away like a tear.” Page 73
“[...] and it is sad, of course, to forget. But it is a lonely thing, to be forgotten. To remember when no one else does.” Page 77
“[...] ideas are so much wilder than memories, that they long and look for ways of taking root.” Page 77
““These days, everyone’s looking down,” muses Sam. “It’s nice to see someone looking up.”” Page 101
“Being forgotten, she thinks, is a bit like going mad. You begin to wonder what is real, if you are real. After all, how can a thing be real if it cannot be remembered?” Page 103
“If a person cannot leave a mark, do they exist?” Page 103
“Dreamer is too soft a word. It conjures thoughts of silken sleep, of lazy days in fields of tall grass, of charcoal smudges on soft parchment.” Page 11
“She considers the cut of their clothes, the absence of bone stays or bustled skirts, and thinks, not for the first time, and certainly not for the last, how much simpler it would be to be a man, how easily they move through the world, and at such little cost.” Page 129
““I remember you.”” Page 135
“The darkness claimed he’d given her freedom, but really, there is no such thing for a woman, not in a world where they are bound up inside their clothes, and sealed inside their homes, a world where only men are given leave to roam.” Page 163
“She watches these men and wonders anew at how open the world is to them, how easy the thresholds.” Page 165
““I think there are many ways to matter.”” Page 179
“But ideas are so much wilder than memories, so much faster to take root.”” Page 210
“He is full of roots, while she has only branches.” Page 212
“Easy to stay on the path when the road is straight and the steps are numbered.” Page 229
“Outside the window, the day just carries on as if nothing’s changed, but it feels like everything has, because Addie LaRue is immortal, and Henry Strauss is damned.” Page 235
“[...]I didn’t want to live forever. I just wanted to live.”” Page 236
““There’s this family photo,” he says, “not the one in the hall, this other one, from back when I was six or seven. That day was awful. Muriel put gum in David’s book and I had a cold, and my parents were fighting right up until the flash went off. And in the photo, we all look so … happy. I remember seeing that picture and realizing that photographs weren’t real. There’s no context, just the illusion that you’re showing a snapshot of a life, but life isn’t snapshots, it’s fluid. So photos are like fictions. I loved that about them. Everyone thinks photography is truth, but it’s just a very convincing lie.”” Page 239
“God, it feels good to be wanted.” Page 256
“[...] And ideas are wilder than memories. They’re like weeds, always finding their way up.”” Page 261
“Homesick—Henry knows that one is supposed to mean sick for home, not from it, but it still feels right.” Page 262
“Dressing up, he thinks, is just like watching cartoons, something you enjoyed as a kid, before it passes through the no man’s land of teen angst, the ironic age of early twenties. And then somehow, miraculously, it crosses back into the realm of the genuine, the nostalgic. A place reserved for wonder.” Page 274
“Bea always says returning to campus is like coming home. But it doesn’t feel that way to Henry. Then again, he never felt at home at home, only a vague sense of dread, the eggshell-laden walk of someone constantly in danger of disappointing.” 282
“He doesn’t know what he believes, hasn’t for a long time, but it’s hard to entirely discount the presence of a higher power when he recently sold his soul to a lower one.” Page 284
““You can’t make people love you, Hen. If it’s not a choice, it isn’t real.”” Page 290
“He has asked the wrong god for the wrong thing, and now he is enough because he is nothing. He is perfect, because he isn’t there.” Page 290
“A life reduced to a block of stone, a patch of grass.” Page 299
“The present folding on top of the past instead of erasing it, replacing it.” Page 306
“She knows the paint will fade, rinsed off by a puddle, or simply wiped away by time, but that’s how memories are supposed to work. There—and then, little by little, gone.” Page 307
“Without the bells, the organ, the bodies crowding in for services, the church feels abandoned. Less a house of worship and more a tomb.” Page 311
“God is so large, why build walls to hold Him in?” Page 311
“Once you know about a thing, you start to see it everywhere. Someone says the words purple elephant, and all of a sudden, you catch sight of them in shop windows and on T-shirts, stuffed animals and billboards, and you wonder how you never noticed.” Page 314
“There is a freedom, after all, in being forgotten.” 325
“Memories are stiff, but thoughts are freer things. They throw out roots, they spread and tangle, and come untethered from their source. They are clever, and stubborn, and perhaps—perhaps—they are in reach.” Page 327
“They’ve been lucky, so lucky, but the trouble with luck is that it always ends.” 329
““You said it yourself, Luc. Ideas are wilder than memories. And I can be wild. I can be stubborn as the weeds, and you will not root me out. And I think you are glad of it. I think that’s why you’ve come, because you are lonely, too.”” Page 332
“She closes her eyes, reminds herself there are many ways to leave a mark, reminds herself that pictures lie.” Page 337
“She may not feel the years weakening her bones, her body going brittle with age, but the weariness is a physical thing, like rot, inside her soul. There are days when she mourns the prospect of another year, another decade, another century. There are nights when she cannot sleep, moments when she lies awake and dreams of dying. But then she wakes, and sees the pink and orange dawn against the clouds, or hears the lament of a lone fiddle, the music and the melody, and remembers there is such beauty in the world. And she does not want to miss it— any of it.” Page 342
“Luc’s smile darkens. “Because time is cruel to all, and crueler still to artists. Because vision weakens, and voices wither, and talent fades.” He leans close, twists a lock of her hair around one finger. “Because happiness is brief, and history is lasting, and in the end,” he says, “everyone wants to be remembered.”” Page 351
“It is a sign, when even gods and devils dread a fight.” Page 367
“And this, he decides, is what a good-bye should be. Not a period, but an ellipsis, a statement trailing off, until someone is there to pick it up. It is a door left open. It is drifting off to sleep.” Page 419

Note
(Nobody asked for this but here it is anyway suffer for my sins)
You couldn't believe you'd had sex with Swaino /again/.
The sunlight was blindingly cheerful, spilling into the kitchen where you nursed some fresh coffee, with Swaino's off-key and obnoxiously loud singing from your upstairs shower echoing throughout your damn house. You'd contemplated barging in and telling him to shut the hell up already, but you knew that would inevitably lead to fucking in the shower and you needed him out before the afternoon came. So you settled into your kitchen, scrolling through your phone, mentally checking the day's to-do list (Swaino was NOT on it) and cursing your taste in men.
"Where's /my/ coffee?" The bastard was /dripping/ on your floor, a towel wrapped loose around his hips, his hair a disaster, that goddamned chest with those goddamned shoulders and those goddamned pecs that made you want to toss all your responsibilities aside and ride him right there on your kitchen table on shameless display.
"Make your own." You said, tossing your phone onto the table instead. "And you're getting water everywhere."
"I smelled coffee." He said like that explained anything at all, and began rooting through your cupboards. "Got any sugar."
"Swaino." You watched a droplet running down his thigh and wanted to lick it off. "Put some damn clothes on."
"You only like me when I'm naked." You had said that /once/, during a screaming match that had ended with you both spending a weekend fucking on every available surface of your apartment. You were pretty sure the relationship might have ended there, but Fate and unprotected sex had other plans.
"You technically aren't naked." You knew it was a mistake the moment you said it. The towel was on the floor now and you considered strangling him, but decided against it - he'd probably like it. "Swaino-"
"It's just coffee." He said, throwing a smirk that damn him still made your gut tighten. "We got time, don't we?"
For just coffee, maybe. But every time you and Swaino tried just coffee, you wound up having sex. Just coffee had gotten him naked in your kitchen this morning, and had landed you both with a kid on two separate occasions. The second time you had made your friend swear that if she ever heard you plan to have "just coffee" with Swaino again, she was to slap you (which was exactly why you knew inviting Swaino in after you had both dropped the kids off at their respective friends houses was going to piss her off, but you were already planning to never tell her so problem solved, right?)
"Swaino." You refused to look below the waist. "We clearly cannot do just coffee."
He glanced at the tin in his hands. "I mean, you still got some in here."
You hated this insufferable, sexy asshole. "I'm trying to be serious."
"So am I?" He tilted his head. "Hey, didn't we agree to try this "be friends" thing?"
"I don't think friends are supposed to have sex with each other, Swaino."
He grinned a little. "I mean, when the sex is that good, why not?"
The sex /was/ good. That was part of the problem. You and Swaino worked as co-parents, surprisingly. And, sometimes, you felt like you were friends. And fucking hell, the sexual chemistry was mind-blowing. But...
"I don't want to fight." You said finally, and meant it. The sex was great, but it always led to /something/. It seemed to trigger some spark, sometimes completely unrelated, that led to yelling and cursing and cold shoulders. You hated it.
"Then we won't." He said it so simply, like he wasn't the most stubborn man alive. "Come on. We are two very sexy people-"
"God, you are so modest-"
"-who had /a lot/ of really good sex last night. Now we're gonna have some coffee and go do all the adult crap we gotta do. That's it."
You sighed, but could feel a smile tugging at your lips. "Fine - that's it." You turned back to the table. "Now, will you please go put something on? You're gonna freeze."
He said nothing, and you felt him suddenly pressing against your back, his beard rubbing playfully against your neck. "I mean, if you wanna help me warm up...."
"Swaino-"
"I'm going. Put the coffee on."
He headed towards the stairs and you called out. "Shirt stays off."
He flexed his arms over his head, not breaking stride. "I know what you like."
ANONATHAN! 😯
I know you sent this a bit ago but I wanted to wait until I had the time to reply properly, you beautiful, dirty anon.
This was the perfect little story 😏I'm a fucking sucker for good dads, sassy-almost-like-enemies-but-actually-fuck-buddies. Make them bang it out and make another curtain climber. 🤪
Mentally checking your days to-do list and he wasn't on it? That line was perfect. A++ would recommend. Thanks for sending this, everyone needs to go read it right now, thanks.

Tumblr media
Daisies: attachment, new beginnings
💐
“Now remember, ten or above wins you double your stake, below ten and your stake is mine.”
The scruffy drunkard sat opposite you let out a bellowing laugh, the nasty stench of his rotten teeth hitting your nostrils. His movements sloshed the tankard of mead in his hand, spilling some of its contents on the table between you. You had to hold back your look of disgust and smile through the uncomfortableness.
“I won’t lose. Throw ‘em, lady,” he slurred. You had to fight off the smirk threatening to show on your face as you shook the two, six sided dice in your right hand. You had nothing to worry about, the dice were weighted, favoring the lower numbers and therefore guaranteeing your win every time.
“Alright, but when you win you owe me a drink!” you winked cheekily at your mark, catching his eye whilst you threw the dice on the table. The more you distracted them the less chance there was of getting caught in your scam.
The dice came to a stop and you both looked down at the same time; a three and a four, earning a groan of disappointment from the few onlookers that had gathered to watch.
“Better luck next time,” you grinned, gathering up your dice and winnings as the man muttered something unintelligible and grumpily left the table, “anyone else want a go?”
“I will.”
You froze at the voice in your ear and saw the figure of a familiar man take the recently vacant seat opposite you. Pero Tovar always seemed to show up in your life when you least wanted him to. He was an annoying ghost and you could never shake off his haunting. You should gather up your earnings and leave but something kept you rooted to the table. And the longer you took to contemplate your next move, the more the drunkards in the tavern wanted to know what was going on. Soon you’d attracted quite the crowd.
“I said, I want a go.”
You looked into his brown eyes, the ones that sparkled with humor, always at your expense.
“It may be too difficult for your small brain to understand how to play,” you said through gritted teeth.
“Then let us play a different one. I will throw the dice, and if the total is lower than ten, I win every penny you have taken tonight.”
The bastard. The only reason he would suggest playing it that way was if he knew how you were cheating the game. You clenched your jaw in frustration.
“I think I am ready to take my leave-“
“But we have an audience!” Pero smirked, raising his voice and waving a hand at the tavern full of people who hurrahed, eager for you to throw the dice. You were cornered, physically by the wall of people around you and mentally by Pero who knew if you refused the game it would look suspicious.
“Fine,” you grumbled, faking an over the top smile, twirling the dice in one hand and clenching your other hand into a fist under the table. Stay calm, don’t show him how much he was getting to you, you told yourself. You’d chase him down afterwards and with a knife to his throat take your money back. That would show him.
You dropped the dice on the table and leaned back in your seat to see Pero staring at you. You didn’t need to see the dice to know you had lost, the weights that usually worked for you were against you this time, and the tavern goers yelled in surprise and delight, some were even joyfully patting Pero on the shoulder in congratulations. All the while Pero was smiling at you, self satisfied at playing you at your own game.
You pulled the drawstring bag off your hip and threw it across the table, hitting Pero in the chest.
“Better luck next time,” Pero mocked your earlier words, “would you like a drink to drown your sorrows in?” Pero threw the bag of coins in the air and caught it successfully.
“Oh bugger off, Pero,” you hissed, leaving the tavern in a huff. You didn’t want to see him again this night. You’d get him back next time.
-
The boy was young, still a teenager but old enough to know better. His clothes were of the finest materials, gold threads held the pieces together and added beautiful patterns to the front and shoulders of the jacket. He even had a long, shiny feather in his cap. He stuck out in the crown like a sore thumb.
You had been scouting the market for marks all morning and he was the only person you thought worthy of relieving of coin. He had a guard with him, who was more interested in looking at the women walking by, and his coin purse was dangling enticingly down by his hip. It would have been much easier for a child to run along and snip the string with a knife but the only ones you’d found were hand in hand with their parents. So you were on your own.
You were hidden down the side of a building, in the shadows and away from prying eyes. Or so you thought until you caught the flash of a grin out the corner of your eye.
Pero Tovar was mirroring your position on the other side of the marketplace, the wealthy man in the middle of you both. Pero moved his gaze to said man and it was then you knew he was after your mark.
It had been only a couple of nights since he took all your money at the tavern and you’d be damned if you were going to let him swindle you of even more coin. You had to get to the mark before Pero did, by any means necessary.
You tried to plead with him, subtly shaking your head but all Pero did was lean against the wall and offer you a warning glare.
The mark was buying a trinket from a stool, handing his purchase over to the guard to carry and looking around for where to go next. This was your only chance.
You untied the string at the top of your tunic, letting it open up to display your chest more than you would usually allow. But you needed a distraction and a way of getting close to the man without suspicion. You pulled out the small scissors from your boot and held them comfortably in your dominant hand, shaking down your sleeve to keep them out of sight.
You tried to ignore Pero but as soon as you slipped out of the alley he did the same, heading directly for the wealthy man.
Unfortunately whilst you were gaining speed through jogging movements, Pero’s purposeful strides were larger than yours, meaning you both reached the man at the same time.
“Sir, could I offer my services-“
“You seem too respectable to want the services of a harlot-“
“Harlot? Excuse me, I am so sorry, this ruffian-“
“Ruffian! You should show some respect-“
Your attempts to get close enough to grab the purse were scuppered by Pero subtly pulling you away with a hand around your waist. And as much as you tried to pry him off you, he was strong and stubborn, rendering your scam completely useless. The wealthy man’s guard dragged him away with a growl in your direction to stop you from pursuing them.
“What was that!?” Those words had been on the tip of your tongue but Pero spoke them first. You looked at him with a confused frown.
“What?”
“What were you thinking? That guard could have killed you.”
“Oh do not pretend you care for my health, you wanted that purse to yourself.”
“I did, but when I saw you were going to get yourself in serious trouble I had to come and save you instead of getting the coins for myself. You are welcome, idiota.”
You stared at Pero in disbelief. Was he expecting gratefulness? You couldn’t quite believe what he was saying.
“I have been doing this for years and I haven’t gotten caught once. I would appreciate it if you didn’t save me again,” you huffed, tying up the strings of your shirt before stomping away from him.
If you never saw Pero Tovar again it would be too soon.
-
You were mad. But you were mad that Pero was right more than you were mad at your actual predicament.
You had been playing a simple card trick on an unsuspecting traveller, one that you’d played hundreds of times, it had never gone wrong. Somehow the extra card up your sleeve (the one you used to cheat with) had slipped out and fallen to the floor and a guard that had been watching had spotted it and arrested you before you could run.
So that was how you found yourself in the stocks all morning, set in the middle of the courtyard of the castle grounds for everyone to laugh at. A few delighted children had thrown various rotten vegetables in your face, most adults had taken pity on you and walked on by. Your back was hurting from being hunched over, your feet were aching on the hard, stone ground. But none of that compared to the pain of seeing your foe being dragged towards you.
“Please, I beg you, this is punishment enough, do not put that man anywhere near me.”
“Anyone would think you hated me,” Pero grumbled, humor in his voice despite being guided towards his punishment.
You felt the top half of the stocks lifting off the back of your neck, a second of relief, as the guards situated Pero next to you. His hand was so close to yours you could touch him, not that you wanted to. The stocks were dropped down and locked in place and the guards left you alone.
“You bring me nothing but bad luck,” you mumbled, huffing as you shifted on your feet.
“Because I was not there to save you this time?” You could hear the smirk in his voice which irritated you.
“Because I have never been caught, and then you start showing up everywhere I go and I am caught, and to make things worse, I have to be punished next to you!” You laughed humorlessly, narrowly dodging a handful of what smells like horse manure. You shoot a glare over to the man who threw it.
“Carino,” Pero clicked his tongue and you felt his hand sweep against yours, “these rotten potatoes are preferable to your whining.”
You gasped and tried to flick at his hand but it only hurt your bruising wrists.
“When I get out of here I am going to find the biggest vegetable, fresh from the ground, and throw it at you.”
Pero laughed a large, belly rumbling laugh that surprised you.
“Why are you laughing?” you asked, baffled at his sudden turn of emotions, but it didn’t deter him from laughing more.
It was the second plop of manure hitting the top of your head that had you joining in with Pero. The ridiculousness of the situation, the bickering between you, and your damn hand kept knocking into his. It was all so silly.
You spent the rest of the morning in fits of giggles with the man you thought you hated.
-
You were thrown down the steps of the dungeons, your knees hitting the hard, dirty floor before you were hauled back to your feet to be taken to the cell that would be yours for the night.
“We have to stop meeting like this,” was the voice that greeted you. You saw him sitting in the corner of the cell, a growing bruise on his jaw and stripped of his leather outer garments. He looked softer in just a shirt and breeches, more vulnerable but also kinder. Like any ordinary man, not the pain in the ass you knew him to be. You chuckled at the sight of him.
“Your life would be boring without me,” you teased, but Pero nodded his agreement. You plopped down next to him with a sigh, stretching out your legs and feeling the soreness of your knees as you rested them. You rubbed at the tenderness over your skirts.
“Are you hurt?”
“Some scrapes, that is all,” you assured him, but his eyes lingered where you were soothing your burning knees, “how did you end up in here?”
“Not my fault,” you raised a sceptical eyebrow, “a drunkard started a fight with me.”
“And where is this drunkard?” you asked suspiciously, looking through the bars into the other cells, all of which were empty.
“He passed out. The guards did not want to drag his useless body in here.”
You hummed, clearly not believing his tale. He rolled his eyes at you, deciding it wasn’t worth arguing.
“And you?”
“Hmm?”
“How did you end up in here?”
You sighed, remembering what had happened.
“A noblewoman thought I was going to steal her purse.”
“You were not going to steal her purse?”
“No!” You feigned looking scandalised at the mere suggestion, before dropping the act, “I was going to steal her dog.”
Pero guffawed, not expecting you to say such a thing.
“Her dog?”
“It would have been worth more than the coins in her purse.”
Pero rubbed at his tired eyes. You listened to the sounds around you; the guards gossiping outside the dungeon door, a rat squeaking somewhere nearby, the rhythm of Pero’s breathing. It was the first bit of peace you’d had in a long time.
“If we get caught again they will not simply throw us in the dungeons,” Pero whispered ominously.
You couldn’t disagree with him, but there weren’t many other options for people like the two of you. You were wanderers and loners. You had no money, no home, no family. What choice did you have?
You glanced at Pero who was already looking at you. He looked defeated, with dark bags under his eyes and his lips turned ever so slightly downwards, he looked how you felt. Hopeless and alone.
“We keep running into each other. That must mean something,” you claimed, feeling stupid as soon as the words came out. You quickly looked away and waited for him to mock you.
“You think this is God’s will?”
You shrugged and began picking at the dirt on your skirts.
“Perhaps we should do something about it.”
“Like what?” you asked, allowing your tone to lift in hope.
“If we are meant to be, maybe we should get out of this town and find another.”
“Together?”
“Why not?”
You looked at Pero then. There was no teasing in his eyes or smirk on his lips, he was being deadly serious. Your heart skipped a beat at the thought of sticking with Pero from now on. However, you couldn’t make it too easy for him.
“Well for one, I’d be stuck with your ugly mug.”
Pero grinned and let out a deep, throaty chuckle.
“I would wager my ugly face is better than the hangman's noose.”
The room became sombre once more as you realised what your options were. You had to leave town, but you could either do that alone or with the man whose company you were beginning to enjoy.
You felt Pero nudge your side and you saw he was holding a single daisy up to you.
“Do you carry flowers at all times?”
“No, idiota, they are growing in the walls,” with an amused shake of his head he carefully placed the small flower behind your ear and leaned back to admire his work.
After your initial shock you smiled your thanks and he smiled back.
“Bonita,” Pero muttered and leaned his shoulder against yours as he settled back against the cold, damp wall.
You think you could get used to sticking by his side.

Dreams, Chapter 16
If you haven’t read this series before, you might want to start on Chapter 1, or check out the Dreams Masterlist! Here’s the series description:
When Dean dies for good leaving Sam and his girlfriend (the reader) behind, they must figure out how to carry on without him. Alone, reeling, and unsure what to do next, trying to honor Dean’s memory and follow their hearts gets even more complicated when their nightmares become dreams that feel a little too real.
Title: Dreams, Chapter 16
Pairing: (past) Dean Winchester x Reader, (eventual) Sam Winchester x Reader
Word Count: 1754
Summary: Some of Sam’s efforts to ‘nest’ in their new life together reveal new possibilities.
Warnings: angst, FLUFF, swearing, s l o w  b u r n
Tumblr media
Water laps at the weather-beaten wood of the dock underneath you slowly and the rhythm feels like hypnosis with the sun beating down a blanket. You sense Dean at your side without opening your eyes.
           “So…was he any good?”
You can’t help but laugh, hearing the echo go out over the small lake, and get up to your elbows. It’s bright enough that you have to squint over at Dean where he lays next to a couple fishing poles and a cooler, t shirt hitched up to show a sliver of his stomach with his arms behind his head. His smile is devilish, made even more smug with eyes closed against the sun so his lashes cast an inch-long shadow on the dusting of freckles across his cheeks. “You can’t ask that!” you giggle.
His lips flatten into a knowing line. “So that’s a no?”
“Jesus Christ, of course it’s not a n—you know what, I’m not talking to you about this,” you smile, laying back down.
“Ooh, so it’s a yes,” he teases as he turns on his side to face you. “Go Sammy. That mean you two are, like, going steady now?”
You let your head loll over to him and roll your eyes. “Are you done?”
“Not yet. Is he going to let you wear his letterman jacket? Take you to junior prom?”
“I’m giving you ten more seconds.”
Dean laughs, free and easy. “Fine, okay, I’m done. Wait—did he wrap it?”
“DEAN!” you yell, covering your face in embarrassment.
“Okay, alright, okay.” He’s still chuckling when you open your eyes to look over at him and reaches over to slip a piece of hair behind your ear. “You, ah, you seem happy.”
You search his eyes for any hidden anger and find only the softness of calm affection with a pinch of solemnity. Where his hand lingers in your hair you turn into it, pressing your lips to Dean’s palm. “I am.”
Dean smiles, straight teeth a perfect row of pearls so white you think for a second they might ‘ding’ with sparkle like a cartoon, and he looks relaxed enough as he puts his hands back behind his head that it calls up images of a kitten falling asleep in a sunny spot like this even as he keeps his eyes on you. “Took you guys long enough.”
“And you’re still okay with this?”
“Yeah, hell yeah. That’s the best I could ever ask for, you two happy. So, what do you say? Want to see if we can catch some fish?”
Tumblr media
Spring was a blessing; clean greenness breaking through the grey and white purifying the air and breathing new life into you, Sam, and the community you’d come to be a part of. The cabin was that much nicer with the new hours of sunlight pouring through the windows and all the upgrades you had put into it, to the point that you began to feel truly comfortable there. You even invited the Kaisers over for dinner a few times, feeling more like equal partners in your burgeoning friendship with them.
You started to feel stable enough to get things; picked up a bookshelf at the combination flea/farmer’s market that happened in the K-12 school’s field every Saturday morning and got higher quality spatulas to cook with, the kinds of nonessential stuff you never would’ve bought before knowing you were going to stay in one place long enough to get good use out of them. Sam, in turn, kept building: changing the locks to sturdier ones and erecting a shed big enough to hold a lawn mower.
You’d been cooking on an early Sunday afternoon when Sam came home and crossed the cabin in a few strides, giving you a kiss on the cheek before setting a thick paper bag down on the kitchen counter. “Smells great, what’re you making?”
“Ratatouille!” you buzzed, placing a slice of eggplant carefully into its slot. “I’ve never had it, but I’ve always thought it looks so pretty. Hopefully it’s good. Where were you?”
“Hardware store. I thought maybe I could build a greenhouse; see if we could grow anything. Might be enough to work against the cold.”
You raised your eyebrows in appreciative surprise. “Look at you! What’re you thinking? Poppies? Platinum OG? Purple Haze?”
Setting a box of screws down, Sam rolled his eyes through a smile. “My plan was more along the lines of tomatoes or something, but I’ll, uh, take those suggestions under advisement.” You had a sudden urge to twist a gentle finger into the dimple that stayed on his cheek as he unloaded the rest of his supplies but didn’t want to embarrass him, instead sweeping some garlic skins into your hand to throw into the small bucket Sam kept under the sink to collect scraps for the compost pile. When the bag was empty he refolded it and took off his jacket, passing by you to put it on its hook by the door. “Want any help?” he asked, sounding about as breezy as you’d ever heard him.
“It just has to bake for about an hour. Does a late lunch work with your construction schedule?”
Sam leaned over to slip a hand around your waist and kissed the top of your head before grabbing an armful of stuff to take outside. “Definitely. Just yell when you’re ready for me.”
You giggled and waggled your eyebrows suggestively. “I’m always ready for you.”
He tried his best not to blush but bit his lip in spite of himself, looking up at you with a bashful twinkle in his eye. “I walked into that one, didn’t I?”
In response you held up a spare slice of zucchini that Sam readily accepted, opening his mouth like an obedient puppy and chewing as he went out the back door.
You loved watching Sam work on his greenhouse in the weeks that followed, getting so excited about the tiny shoots sprouting up from the soil that he sometimes woke up early to check on them before starting his day. After a few weeks he woke you up one morning with a cup of coffee, bare-chested under slightly sleep-tangled hair and the hems of his flannel pants sloppily half inside his boots. “I wanna show you something, he said, throat still gravelly. You accepted the mug and got out of bed, following him drowsily and jamming your feet inside your shoes at the door, too tired to worry about the laces.
He led you into the greenhouse with its clear plastic walls and pointed down at a petite bud on top of a green stalk. It had the telltale waviness of a basil leaf, and when you bent down to look closer at it the plant already smelled herbaceous. “It’s so cute!” you hummed. Sam practically glowed with satisfaction, an unbridled smile the perfect accessory to the broad span of his chest where it was backlit by the fuzzy light through the greenhouse walls. You straightened and rubbed his back in congratulations, staring down at the plant together with your coffees like parents on Christmas morning. Tucked in the corner of the greenhouse behind the basil, a scattering of bitty white flowers caught your eye against the burnt umber soil.
“Wait, you already have stuff flowering in here? What’s that?” you asked, tiptoeing around the wooden stakes in the soil to get closer.
“Oh—I, uh—” he stammered behind you.
At arm’s length the flowers looked vaguely familiar and you stopped short. “Is that—?” You turned back to Sam, who seemed not to be able to come up with anything to say, his face the kind of blank surprise that indicated he didn’t know whether you were about to be upset. “Really? Where’d you even…how did you get some?”
He tucked his hair behind his ears to stall for even a half second. “I—well, I found a guy who got me—got us—some.”
“You still have an African dream root hookup?”
Sam’s lips pressed into a well-practiced silent ‘I guess?’ and he reached back to ruffle the hair at the nape of his neck, the movement stretching his side distractingly enough that if you hadn’t been so startled by the discovery of a plot of dream root literally in your own backyard you might’ve forgotten what you were talking about altogether.
You raised your eyebrows expectantly, waiting for him to explain.
“I made some calls, found someone in Milwaukee who got his hands on some and he mailed it here. I didn’t want to, uh, tell you in case I couldn’t get it to grow.”
All kinds of possibilities and frustrations raced through your head. “So you’ve had this for weeks? That’s why you built the greenhouse?” Sam didn’t answer fast enough. “Never mind, I don’t care,” you found yourself saying, and surprisingly, actually meaning. You took a deep breath to stop the words from jumbling together. “Do you think it’ll work?” you breathed, knowing he would understand the real question: would we be able to see Dean together?
“Only one way to find out.”
Tumblr media
For whatever reason you’d gotten freshly showered, made up, and dressed before brewing the tea with Sam on your next day off of work. It felt like there should be some level of pomp and circumstance about it, this giant undertaking that might be able to change your whole life again, even knowing that your prep wouldn’t translate into a dream. You were giddy with anxiety and almost wished you could reasonably put it off, the idea of this new possibility being yet another dead end making you nauseous.
“Your place or mine?” you asked, trying to put a little sheen of humor on your nerves.
Sam chuckled but you could tell he was nervous too, rubbing his palms dry on the knees of his jeans over and over again. “You haven’t done it before, right?”
You shook your head. “Is there a learning curve or something?”
“Honestly it’s been long enough that I don’t really remember. Hold on—hold still.” He reached out and very gingerly swept a finger across your cheekbone, drawing back to show you an eyelash stuck to the whorl of its pad.
You straightened where you sat on the edge of the bed. “That’s as good a sign as any. Cheers, I guess.” Sam dropped the tiny hair into his mug and touched the ceramic to yours, his eyes hopeful and reassuring as you took tandem sips.
           And then you were off.

If I Never Knew You Pt.5
Tumblr media
Pt.1  Pt.2  Pt.3  Pt.4  Pt.5  Pt.6
Warnings: 18+, angst, secret relationship plot, kinda royal au, arranged marriage plot, fighting
a/n: Hope everyone is doing well. Here is the second to last part. I’m going to upload the final part right after I upload this one. Just so y’all aren’t waiting for the resolve :)
Word count: 1.7K
Loki x female!reader
Feeling the pebbles roll under your feet, you felt your legs begin to shake with anticipation and dread. The panic that you were holding off while with Loki was beginning to come back and you wanted to turn and run the other way. You knew you needed to do this and finally come clean to your parents but the idea was just so awful you wanted to run and hide away forever.
Before you knew it you were standing out front of your childhood home feeling a bubble of unease build in your throat. Breathing deep and exhaling hard, you put your hand on the doorknob and stepped inside your home. Your family once again sitting at the dining table talking amongst one another.
There was someone you didn’t recognize sitting in what was normally your seat. You felt the energy shift around you and suddenly you felt something worse than panic settle in your gut.
“Y/N, there you are! We were so worried when you didn’t come home last night. You haven’t done that in a while. I’m so glad you’re okay.”
Your mother rose from her chair, wrapping her arms around you in a tight hug. Your father looked at you with disdain on his features, obviously trying to figure out where you were in the night.
“Glad to know you’re alright, Y/N. Come sit down and meet who we think might be a perfect suitor for you.”
Your heart sank to your stomach. You felt your face get hot and your emotions were mixing with intense anger and despondency. You didn’t want to have to fake interaction with someone you knew nothing about let alone didn’t care learning about. It would be adulterous to Loki and you couldn’t bear the thought of engaging in such horror. You found your courage and finally decided to put your foot down in this situation.
“Actually, that is what I was coming to talk to you guys about. I found someone. I have for over a year now.”
“What?! Y/N that’s amazing but why haven’t you told us anything.”
Your mother’s eyes lit up in curiosity wondering why you were so private with something that was causing you such trouble.
“I’ve been fearful of your reaction to whom it is I have found boundless love with.”
Your father’s eyebrows furrowed in confusion waiting for you to continue your declaration. Your mother on the other hand was just overjoyed that her dearest daughter had found somebody. You opened your mouth again before your mother cut you off,
“Well, what’s his name? I want to know everything about him!”
You sighed, the next words you had to speak feeling like lead on your tongue.
“Y-you know the all-father?”
“Y/N! Are you courting Thor??”
Your father tapped your mother’s hand in discipline,
“Let her speak and you will find out. Stop interrupting her”
You sighed again, playing with your fingers out of anxiety about what you were about to say next.
“I-it’s actually his brother. Loki.”
The air became suffocating. Loki’s name always putting a sour thought in people’s minds because of his notorious behavior. You felt the excitement in the air turn to disappointment and rotted curiosity.
“We met in one of the gardens a year ago and something about us was magnetic and drew us together. We started out with a friendship and a few months in he asked if courtship would be a viable option to further our relationship. I said yes reluctantly because I feared your responses so deeply.”
You decided to lay it out all on the table hoping that maybe it would persuade their opinion of someone that they felt so little for.
“He cares for me with such truth. I’ve never felt this with anyone before and the way that he understands me makes me feel like I have finally been found. He loves me with such ardor that I feel complete finally. All that was thought of him is something of the past. He has matured indefinitely and the feelings I have formed for him are incessant and I can’t let that go.”
Finally letting out all the extra air in your lungs you felt such a weight lifted off your chest. You still feared what their answer would be regarding their approval but they knew now. If they cared for you like they said they did they would be able to see your admiration for your current partner. And you hoped that would be enough to not have your parents strip that from you.
“Y/N...of all the people you could have chosen. That treacherous excuse for a god is where you let your feelings reside?!”
Your father’s response made you feel sick. This is exactly what you were predicting what would happen. But your mother was unusually silent. Her eyes drifted off to space on the floor and it was difficult to read what she was thinking of. Your father stood up from his chair and spoke again, his voice thick with dismay.
“Loki?! How could you let yourself stoop so low? He’s nothing but a troublemaker and you for some reason have become so weak to fall for him. Where did I go wrong wit-?”
“-Alright that’s enough, dear.”
Your mother finally spoke up and cut your father off. He looked at her incredulously and at that moment you began to feel such regret for the man that was still stuck at the table. Falling victim to the conflict between you and your parents. Your mother spoke again,
“Maybe, just maybe dear, we were wrong about him. Our daughter is not a halfwit. She has such a powerful mind and she has waited this long to find a suitor for her to make her happy. Perhaps we should give them our blessing. If she’s happy then that is all that matters. It is not our life to live.”
“No! I cannot and will not allow that dope to spoil our daughter. Let alone create a family with him. I don’t care how luxurious that tower it is you stay in with him but get your last visit in-”
“Father.-”
“This is non-negotiable. My heels have been dug-”
“Father, I may bear his child.”
The silence that fell over the room was deafening. You could hear the rise and fall of each person’s breath and it was haunting. You hadn’t yet known if this was a possibility but with the night's previous endeavors, it wasn’t a shot in the dark. It was your last-ditch effort and you were willing to do anything to keep Loki in your life.
“You what?”
Your father stepped closer to you trying to find the lie in your demeanor but it was never found.
“Dear, please do not chastise her. What is done is done. We must give the blessing now. Child out of wedlock is not something I want to be stained on our or his family's name.”
Your mother stood up and came to your side, wrapping an arm around your waist, pulling you to sit down at the table. Wrapping her hands around yours she spoke with such serene.
“My Y/N. You are like an untamed bull. Your headstrong nature will catch up to you one day but with that being said. I am more than happy that you have finally found your person. If he treats you as well as you say he does then that is all I can ask from him. I can only hope to meet him soon and that he knows he is welcome in our home. The blessing you seek is already had.”
“Says who?”
Your father chimed in
“She needs both of our blessings to go through with his eloping and as far as I am concerned. I have yet to give her the go-ahead. I am not giving away my daughter to someone who has yet to show truth and consistency in something other than mischief. I will not allow it! And that’s final!”
The tears that were once falling in joy were now falling down hot in fear.
Why must he be like this? My happiness matters too.
Pointing to the man at the table your father spoke through gritted teeth and told him to get out. He had no business being there anymore anyway. And with the direction the conversation was going, it wouldn’t be fair to have him in the mix.
“As for you. You aren’t to see that man again.”
“No! Dad, wait! You can’t do this. Please, he’s the only person outside of you guys who has seen me for me! Please do not take that away from me!”
Your heart was doing backflips in your chest and it felt like you couldn’t breathe. Everything that you had built up was beginning to crumble.
“You aren’t to see him until my mind is made. I’m beyond disappointed in you and at the root of it all, I am unsure of what to think.”
“Dear if she is to be with chi-”
“I KNOW! But that doesn't mean I feel any different towards the bastard. For all I know he took advantage of her, knowing her situation and now we're stuck with the consequence.”
“Father, it’s not like that I swear!”
“Enough! You have said enough today.”
Removing your hands from your mother's, you hung your head in your hands. The tears now overflowing as you hit your breaking point.
“Your tears will not alter my decision any faster so you can give that a rest, Y/N.”
Standing up from the chair you were overcome with anger. Your voice was meek because of all the pressure built up in your throat but you made sure to make your point delivered.
“If you ever pretended to care about half as much as you say you do, all those snarky remarks you make would be void. You cannot control me forever. If you loved me outwardly half as much as you say you do, you would’ve listened to me, but you never did.”
Walking toward your bedroom you couldn’t bear to speak anymore or be in the environment of the main room. It was deadly and you needed to rest. Closing the door you flopped on your bed. Hot tears falling down your cheeks and absorbing into your hair that was splayed out underneath you. You moved up to the top of your bed and hugged your pillow, pretending it was someone else to provide you with comfort. You sniffled and your eyes became heavy and you drifted off to sleep. The energy completely stripped from you.

A/N: Honestly, idk what this is. This is the most random thing to pop into my head, but that’s because (for once) I am in a happy, good mindset and I’m not depressed and self-critical! This is a product of me having to go get bandaids and the cheapest ones (and the only ones I could afford) being Hello Kitty bandaids so now I am walking around with a Hello Kitty bandaid on my arm.
i am currently revamping my blog. i may rewrite this fic, but probably not. right now, i am just making it look my other newer fics! fun fact: this was orginally gonna be called hello kitty bandaids! i am glad i changed it...

With a sharp intake of air, Steve’s grip around the razor was gone, sending it clattering against the tile of the bathroom as a hissed swear slipped passed his lips without thinking. The hand that held the razor was pressed against his shaving cream streaked face, trying to will away the sting away, instead making it worse. He groaned in agony as the memory of how much it hurt to cut himself while shaving flooded his mind. “Cut yourself?” His wife asked, pushing the cracked door open fully. She wiped her hands on a dish towel, having been cleaning up after breakfast.
Steve looked over at her, his hand still holding his jaw. She gave him a sympathetic look, but he could see the laughter wanting to bubble up in the way her shoulders shook ever so slightly. “Yeah, and it hurts like a bitch.” He commented, taking his hand off slowly, turning to look in the mirror, inspecting the invisible cut, a drop of blood trickling down his neck being the only evidence that it was there. Y/n hummed in understanding, shuffling over to him. Steve looked down at her as she sat the dish towel on the counter by the sink. She took his face in her hands gently, careful not to touch the cut. His eyes stayed on her as she turned his head slightly in order to get a good look at the cut.
“It’s not a proper diagnosis, but I am ninety-nine percent sure you’re gonna live,” She commented, her fingers releasing his face, the tingling sensation  tricking him to thinking that she still held his face. Even after five years of marriage and eight years together as a couple, her touch still lingered on him. Still in his spot, Steve watched her grab a clean face cloth, soaking it in water before turning to face him again. “Sit.” She told him, pointing to the toilet. He complied instantly, spreading his legs slightly to allow her to stand between them.
“You know, this is just like when we were younger,” Steve spoke up as he watched her wipe away the shaving cream, he was thankful that he had just been going over the last spot before finishing or else he would still have to do the rest of his face. “Remember all the times you had to tend to my wounds and I would sit on the edge of the tub or toilet while you stood between my legs focusing on my face? Then I’d bring my hands up like this-” He paused, his hands reaching up to grip her hips, his fingertips resting on her butt. “Then they’d slide to grab your-” His flirtatious reminiscing was interrupted by a high-pitched voice yelling through the house, calling for her mother. He cringed slightly, he loved his Daughter more than words could tell, but her yelling gave him a splitting headache sometimes. “Well, I guess it’s not exactly like when we were younger.” He groaned, letting his hands drop from where they were just about to fully land on Y/n’s butt. She giggled, twisting around to grab the rubbing alcohol.
“In here, baby!” She called to her daughter as she soaked the dry part of the face cloth, pressing it to the cut. Steve hissed at the stinging sensation.
“That’s different too,” He squeaked, his fists closed tightly as the sting continued. “You used to warn me and were gentle.” He breath in and out as she started to wipe around the cut, cleaning the area. She dropped the cloth on the edge of the sink, capping the alcohol.
“Momma, I want to wear my pretty shoes to pre-school today-” Their Daughter walked into the room, her bare feet slapping on the tile. She stopped in her tracks, looking at the couple, watching her mother placing the rubbing alcohol away. “What happened?” She asked with a head tilt, her brown ponytail swinging with the action. Steve and Y/n looked back at their Daughter who was dressed in a pink skirt and a white t-shirt with the words ‘Princess’ scrawled across it in easy-to-read cursive.
“Nothing Sweetie, Dadda just got hurt and Momma helped take care of him, he’s okay now.” Y/n smiled at her Daughter, bending down to search the cabinet under the sink for bandaids.
“Did it hurt really bad? Like when I fell playing jump rope?” She continued her round of questions, walking up to her father, looking at him in concern. He chuckled lightly, picking her up to sit her on his thigh, her feet dangling between his open legs. He held onto her, making sure she didn’t fall off his leg.
“No, it only hurt for a second, but it still hurt.” Steve reassured her. The second she heard those words, she let relief wash over her.
“Did you kiss it better, Momma,” She asked, turning to look at Y/n who was still rooting for bandaids. “Momma’s kisses always make my cuts feel better.” She told Steve matter-of-factly, looking back at him. He faked surprise, pretending to be shocked at the news as if it were a ground-breaking discovery.
“Not yet, Sweetie, I’ll kiss it better after I find a bandaid.” Y/n replied, peeking over the cabinet door before dipping back down to continue her search. A shocked gasp left the little girl in Steve’s lap and she instantly started to wiggle, wanting down from her father’s lap. Steve reacted quickly, setting her down on the ground. The second her feet hit the floor, she rushed off out of the room.
“I have something else to make him feel better,” She called from another room. Seconds later, she ran back into the bathroom. Y/n stood up, watching as her Daughter rushed right by her and up to her father, holding a pink box of Hello Kitty bandaids to him. “Here you go, Dadda, these make me feel better too. And this way, you can get a Momma kiss sooner.” She pushed the box against his chest, adamant on him using one.
“Okay, Momma will put one on me, okay,” Steve told his Daughter softly, gently taking the box from her hand and pulling a random one from the box. “Should I use this one?” He asked her holding the single bandaid in it’s packaging.
“Dadda, you can’t choose which one you get! It’s a surprise,” She corrected him, her hands falling to her hips as she scolded him. Y/n held back her laughter, watching her Daughter, who couldn’t even reach the sink, scold Steve about Hello Kitty bandaids. Immediately, her Daughter whirled around to her. “You put the bandaid on Dadda and give him a kiss to make it better while I go find my pretty shoes.” She ordered, walking out of the room. Her parents watched her head out, the box tucked in her hand.
“Yes ma’am.” They replied together, shaking their heads at their daughter as they chuckled. Y/n plucked the bandaid from Steve, quickly taking the wrapping off and sticking it to his face.
“Ohh, you got a good one, Babe,” She snickered, letting the wrapping fall into the garbage can. Steve hummed, standing in front of the mirror to inspect the bandaid. His eyes landed on the pink bandaid littered with Hello Kitty’s face. “Now, I do believe my boss ordered me to give it a kiss to make it feel better.”
“Did she now,” Steve hummed, wrapping his arms around Y/n’s waist to pull her into him. Y/n hummed in response, her eyes dancing happily. “Well, you can’t go against bosses orders-” He trailed off, a smirk on his lips. Rolling up onto her tippy-toes, Y/n placed a kiss over the bandaid, crashing back down onto her heels. Her lips had barely touched the bandaid, let alone him. He hummed, pretending to think. “Nope, not better.”
“Not better? Well, I guess this calls for another dose,” Y/n played along, pressing another, longer kiss to the bandaid before pulling away. “Any better now,” She asked. Steve shook his head. “I guess I’ll just have to try and administer it elsewhere, huh?” She perked an eyebrow, Steve’s eyes widening for a split second before her lips attached themselves to his. Compared to what he had originally thought, it was a let down, but the kiss was soft and lingering. The kind that made his head spin with the kind of intimacy that you couldn’t find anywhere else, a different intimacy than what was found in the bedroom, but also a different intimacy than holding each other. He couldn’t describe it, only being able to come up with one word: mind shattering. Whenever she kissed him like this, he couldn’t think of anything else, just her and the feeling of their lips moving together.
She pulled away, leaving a stunned Steve, his lips still lightly puckered. “Your kisses really do make things all better.” He said, coming back down to earth. Y/n giggled, shaking her head as her Husband.
“I’m glad you feel better, now, I have to go find some shoes then make some calls for work,” She patted his chest, rolling her lips together, still feeling the same aftershocks of the kiss that Steve was feeling. “Have a good day at work, Babe.” She pressed another, quick, kiss to his lips, him reciprocating for the split second. And with that kiss, she slipped out of the room in search for their Daughter’s pretty shoes. Steve smiled, righting his work clothes and leaving the room himself, flicking the light off on his way out.
Walking into the his work, tucking his keys into his pocket, he still had that big smile on his face. He almost forgot all about the bandaid on his face, but the adhesive was tugging at his face from his cheek crinkling from his wide smile. “Harrington? Is that a Hello Kitty bandaid on your face?” His co-worker snickered, followed by his other co-workers joining in on the laughter.
“Yeah, it is.” He proudly announced, setting his stuff down. The males laughed, but their laughter didn’t bother Steve. He didn’t care about what his co-worker’s thought. Most of them nearly fell off their chairs at the first Christmas Party when Y/n had walked in. When they found out that she was married to Steve, they had all but passed out right then and there - not understanding how he had managed to ‘snag a good one like her’ as they put it. Y/n often commented about them when Steve’s come home stressed from the crap they put him through, saying that many of them are jealous, insecure men who think the world owed them everything simply because they were men.
“Next thing you know, you’ll be coming in with a purse and heels!” Another one piped up, laughing as if he had just said the best joke in the whole world.
“He already comes in with his nails painted!” Yet another one pointed at Steve’s bright pink nails. The polish had just finally come off of his skin and they looked really good, his Daughter improving at painting nails. Clearing his throat, the guys stopped their laughter, thinking he was going to join in on the jokes, but when he turned around, their joking manner disappeared.
“If my Daughter gives me a purse and heels to bring to work, then yes, I will be coming into work with a purse and heels. And if you guys have a problem with that, you can keep it to yourselves.” He shut them down, starting his day of work as the other guys just blinked at him. He smiled, looking at the picture of his little family, thinking about what he was going to be coming home to: his two girls and he couldn’t be happier. Well, maybe if there was one more, but that was a thought for another day.

A promising future
Anna turned her head around and tried to peek into the living room. She wanted to see her mother's face but the door frame was annoyingly blocking her view. Her mother had asked to be left alone while she read Elsa's letter. And for that reason, she and her father had to go into the kitchen to wait for her. To Anna's dismay, her mother was taking way longer than she imagined to finish reading the letter, putting her patience to the test.
She leant against the back of the chair, hoping to rock it just enough to see her mother for a second. At least, enough to try and guess if the content of the letter was either good or bad by her mother's expressions. She was finally able to see the armchair and her mother's hand holding the letter, when the voice of her father startled her. "Stop spying on your mother," said Agdar, almost making her fall.
"I wasn't- I'm not…" She tried in vain to explain, but Agdar's amused expression let her see he didn't believe a word of it. Sighing in defeat, she confessed, "I'm just curious."
"I am too," he admitted as he walked towards the kitchen table. "But as you said, that letter belongs to Idunn. We should let her read it in peace."
"She could read faster." Anna knew she sounded like the impatient child she had once been, but she couldn't help it. Ever since she found out she had an older sister; she had hoped for her family to be reunited again. At least, for just one night. Long enough for her parents and sister to talk things through. She simply couldn't wait anymore. She needed to know if Elsa was willing to make her dream come true.
Agdar laughed and sat down in the opposite chair. Once he was properly seated, he handed her one of the two tea cups he had brought with him. “Here.”
“Thank you,” answered Anna with a small smile. The way her father returned the smile made her feel guilty for the things she had said to him only an hour earlier. It was true she had been mad at her father’s reprimands for not being present at dinner, but it didn’t justify her behaviour. The last thing she wanted was to be on bad terms with him, even if part of her still believed he could have done things differently in the past.
Agdar cleared his throat, calling Anna's attention for a second time. “I didn't choose the company over your sister," said Agdar, as if he had read her mind. He took a sip from his tea and continued, “You may not believe me, but I swear I didn't.”
Guilt washed over Anna once again, and she thought it was best if she learnt once and for all to think before she talked. "Dad, I didn't mean to-”
“Let me finish,” he asked. “I'm aware my decisions have hurt your sister and our family in many ways. But please, don't ever think Elsa was second best." His eyes were focused on the cup he was holding, but Anna knew he was thinking about the past. "I was so happy when your mother told me she was pregnant. I'm sure I cried when I held Elsa in my arms for the first time. Same with you," he clarified. "The two of you put my world upside down by just existing."
"We did?" Her father was a loving man, though he seldom expressed it orally.
"Of course. You mean the world to me." He looked her in the eye and smiled. "It broke my heart to leave Elsa behind. Truth is, we had run out of ideas. We couldn't take care of her, Anna. And to be honest… I–" Agdar sighed, stopping himself mid-sentence.
Something told Anna he was having second thoughts about talking about his past once again. And even if Anna was trying hard to remain calm, her father's overprotection usually drove her mad. "Not sharing things is what put us in this situation to begin with. What happened?"
"I didn't trust my father."
"What?" The sadness in her father's voice surprised her. She wasn't sure what he was going to say, but that certainly was not it.
"My father was a strange man. Full of anger and resentment," he said. "All he cared about was power."
"Power?"
"Money and social recognition, mostly. Sadly, everything he considered an obstacle to his ambition was something that should be taken care of — gotten rid of." The way he wrung his hands showed Anna he was nervous about sharing the truth. He even seemed ashamed of his father's actions. "I feared Elsa would become an obstacle in his eyes. You should have seen the way he looked at me when I told him she existed…"
"Did you tell him about–?"
"Her powers?" he interrupted. "No. I wanted to see how he reacted to the news that she existed first…” He took a sip of his tea and said, “not to tell him was the right call. To this day, I don't know what he would have done to Elsa if he had known."
Father and daughter stayed silent for a while, not knowing what to say. Anna could see a mixture of relief and guilt in her father's eyes. It was clear he had wanted to tell her about Runeard for a long time. "I never thought grandfather was like that."
"I respected him, but I guess it was a respect born out of fear." He looked at the mug in his hands once again, avoiding Anna's gaze. "I never truly loved him. Not the way I love you, your sister and your mother."
The way he included Elsa in the list didn't go unnoticed by Anna, who smiled at the fact her parents were, little by little, trying to make Elsa part of the family once again. "I can't imagine myself in your situation. I love you and mum so much."
"I guess we receive the love we give."
In a subtle way, Agdar said what she had been wondering since the conversation started. Runeard had never shown him love. At least not in the way a good loving father should.
"You know, Anna," Agdar said, calling her attention once again. "When Elsa was born, I promised myself I wouldn't make the same mistakes my father did. I said I wouldn't raise my child to fear me. I wanted her to love me and respect me. I also promised to do everything in my power to give her a good future…”
Anna could only imagine how much Agdar regretted ever leaving Elsa behind. She could hear the guilt in his voice as he spoke.
“I failed Elsa terribly, and there isn't a day I don't beat myself over it. I made a similar promise the day you were born. This time, I swore I wouldn't leave you alone. I also promised to let you follow your own path.” He grabbed her hand and gave it a small squeeze. “Sometimes I feel I'm failing you too. I'm sorry if I let my workaholic nature get in the way. I'm sorry if I'm too overbearing about the business too.”
Anna held his hand a little tighter in return and offered him a smile. “I don't think you've ever failed me, dad. You've always been there for me. And you were the first person to tell me I should follow a career in education if that's what I wanted.” She took a deep breath and hoped her father wouldn’t ask too many questions about the previous night. “Last night was my fault, something unfair happened to Marshall and I thought he could use my help. That’s the reason I was late and I’m sorry. I did say I'd be here, I should've kept my promise…”
“What exactly happened last night?”
“Well, you see… It's a long story.” She had no idea how to explain she had tried to stop Marshall from smashing Hans face, only for her to end up knocking him out. “Marshall’s a private person and-”
“It's fine,” Agdar interrupted, giving her the easy way out. “You don't need to tell me. I trust you made the right choice.”
“That I did.” She looked at her foundation covered knuckles and smiled to herself.
“Tell me… Should I be concerned?”
“Concerned?”
“You mentioned this Marshall fellow is Elsa's friend and I-”
She gaped already knowing where her father was going. “No. No. I won't let you do this,” she said, pointing an accusatory finger in her father’s direction. “You almost freaked Kristoff out when we started dating. I won't let freak Marshall out.”
“So, they are together.”
“No, they are not. Though, I'm rooting for Marshall.”
“He looked like he had been involved in a fight recently,” he said, serious about the situation.
She rolled her eyes, annoyed by her father’s overprotection. “Leave the man alone, dad.”
“Elsa's been through a lot in her life. I won't let a hooligan get anywhere near her.”
For a moment, Anna wondered if had said anything that could make her father think Marshall a hooligan, but the memories of the day he met Kristoff came to mind. “Marshall’s not a hooligan. The same way Kristoff was not one either- Are you listening to yourself right now?”
“Does Kristoff approve of him? Kristoff's a sensible man in that regard.”
“Leave the man alone.”
Resting his chin on one of his fists, he asked, “What's his last name, again?”
“Dad, I'm serious.” For a moment Anna thought her father had finally lost it, when she noticed a playful smirk drew on his face. “You were being annoying on purpose, weren’t you?”
Agdar’s and Anna’s playful smiles were short-lived however. Idunn entered the kitchen with red, puffy eyes which were hard for them to ignore.
“Idunn?”
“Mum? What's wrong?”
They both asked, almost instantly; and soon after they shared a worried look.
“Everything’s okay,” she assured them. “I'm a little overwhelmed, that’s all.”
“So…” said Anna once her mother took a seat between them both. “Did she say anything? Will she give you guys a second chance?”
“She doesn't say.”
Agdar’s disappointment was obvious when he asked, “what did she write about?”
“I wrote about our past in my letters, and I asked her to share hers with me…” Idunn explained.
“And, did she…?”
She shook her head. “Not the past you're thinking about. She doesn't mention anything about Romsdal or the time she spent inside the clinic. She wrote about Kristoff and the Bjorgmans, instead.”
Anna smiled at that, at least she was certain Elsa hadn’t had a hard time writing the letter. She understood perfectly well why her sister had avoided more serious topics.
“She talks about the day she met Kristoff and everything they did together - how they became friends,” Idunn continued. “She then jumps to the day she was officially adopted by the Bjorgmans.”
“She doesn't mention Weselton at all?” asked Agdar, clearly as interested as Anna in the content of the letter.
“I think she avoided it on purpose,” she said. “Maybe Gerda's right, maybe she's pretending it didn't happen.”
That last comment called Anna’s attention, but she didn’t say anything. After all, she knew her parents had met the Bjorgmans a couple of times. It wasn’t a surprise they had shared their worries with her parents.
“Do you think so?” Agdar said, being unable to hide the concern from his voice.
Looking at the different pages of the letter in her hand, Idunn explained, “she avoids talking about it. She jumps from one topic to the other… It's as if she picked certain parts of her childhood and mixed them together in a way she doesn't mention Romsdal nor the clinic at all.”
“It hurts too much,” Anna said, surprising even herself. She hadn’t meant to say it out loud, but the words had slipped from her mouth faster than she could stop them.
“What?” her parents asked, looking at her.
Anna had mentioned Elsa’s mental breakdown, but she hadn’t talked to them about her past. Elsa had opened up in a moment of weakness and stress, and Anna thought it was wrong to share what she had said to her. But now that she had her parents’ attention, she couldn’t pretend she didn’t know some parts of it. “It hurts too much,” she chose to say. “If I were Elsa, I wouldn't like talking about it either.”
“You know about her past?” The answer to the question was quite obvious, but Agdar asked it anyway.
“The night she found Kai's petition, she seemed terrified of facing Weselton again. I saw her so distressed, I had to ask about it. I was lucky she told me…” Anna sighed as she tried to find the right words to explain it. Finding none, she said, “It's- it's bad.”
Idunn and Agdar shared a painful look. “Gerda and Kai told us about it,” said Idunn. “They didn't know all the details, but… Well, they met her right after she was found. Her health condition gave them a clear idea of what she went through.”
Anna grimaced, not once she had stopped to think about the aftermath of everything her sister went through. The way Elsa had explained Gerda and Kai had rescued her had made it seem everything was okay after it. But now, Anna could only wonder how much time it had taken Elsa to recover from her time in Weselton’s hands. Shaking her head, she uselessly tried to erase the idea of Elsa in a hospital bed.
“What did she tell you?” Agdar asked her.
“It's not my place to tell you really – not that she told me everything about it either. But I think she should be the one to talk about it with you. At her own time. I guess only Elsa can say what really happened.” Anna wasn’t trying to be mysterious, she hadn’t liked when Kristoff did the same to her; but she truly believed it was best for Elsa to be the one to share her past with their parents, if she ever wanted to.
Idunn’s sigh drew Anna’s attention back at her. “She must have been so scared. So lonely,” her mother said. And not for the first time, Anna wondered how much the guilt of leaving Elsa behind was going to affect her mother.
“What else did she tell you?” asked Agdar once again. This time, he was pointing at the letter in Idunn’s hands. “In her letter, I mean.”
"Mainly stories about her days with Kristoff. She also told me about a book, which was her favourite. She couldn't read at the time so she doesn't know its name. She said she was hoping I may have an idea." A smile appeared on Idunn's face and Anna felt more at ease knowing Elsa had really tried to establish some sort of relationship with their mother.
"The one she transcribed?" asked Anna, already knowing the answer. Elsa must have truly loved that book.
"That's the one!" Idunn exclaimed, happily. "I wish I could see her transcription. Does she still have it?"
"She never said." Anna thought it was funny how she had never thought of asking Elsa about it. Maybe the drawings could help them realise which book she was talking about.
"You could ask Helga," offered Agdar. "The owner of the bookshop two blocks from here. She can always help you, even with the briefest description of a story."
"You should definitely ask her, mum." Anna was certain her mother would do everything she could to find the book.
Idunn nodded with a smile and looked at the different pages again until she found the part where Elsa described the book. She put it aside as a reminder.
"She didn't say anything else?"
It was clear her father wanted to find out as much as possible about Elsa, and that fact made Anna truly happy. Her parents hadn't lied about loving and wanting to get to know Elsa once again. She hoped Elsa could see that side of them and actually realise how much they cared.
"She talked about Gerda and Kai too," answered Idunn, unaware of Anna's excitement. "She enjoyed getting to know them and becoming part of their family, even if at the beginning she felt like an intruder in their house. She talks a lot about them, actually. It's clear she loves them."
"She once said to me they're her heroes," said Anna.
"It's good to know she found a good family after everything she went through," Agdar said honestly.
Idunn nodded with a smile. Looking at the letter once again, she tried to order the pages before offering it to Anna. "Would you like to read some of her stories? There's one about Kristoff's old truck that you'd like."
"Are you serious?! Kristoff always avoids talking about his old truck! Give me that."
Idunn handed her the letter, and even though she was excited about Elsa's stories, she couldn't hide her disappointment when she first looked at the content of the letter. "Oh, Elsa…"
"What? What is it?" asked Idunn, worried she had missed something important.
"This handwriting is terrible even for her standards. I guess she must have written it in a hurry." Anna gave the rest of the pages a quick look and sighed tiredly. "This is messy as hell."
"Let me see that," said Agdar, curious to finally see Elsa's disastrous handwriting.  "Oh… No wonder you took more than an hour to read this."
"She apologises about her handwriting at the end," Idunn was quick to say, trying to justify Elsa's work. "She says she's trying to learn and improve. The two of you should be more understanding. Especially you, Anna."
"Oh, please, she always avoids practicing her handwriting all the time. She's just being lazy," laughed Anna. She knew perfectly well Elsa hadn't tried to improve one bit in the last few months. If Anna was honest, she was starting to believe her sister's handwriting was beyond saving.
---
Idunn smiled at Anna's eagerness to read Elsa's letter. She was happy her youngest daughter had not only found someone like Kristoff to share her life with, but also had found her long lost sister. Even if things with Elsa didn't work out and she never forgave them, at least Idunn could rest assured her girls could enjoy each other's company.
Once Anna became absorbed in the stories Elsa had to tell, Idunn turned to her husband. Agdar looked happy and peaceful, and she felt bad for ruining his good mood, but she needed to share what Elsa had also explained in the letter; even if it hurt him.
"She was there, Agdar," she said all of a sudden, calling his attention. It was best to let him know.
"What?"
"The day we visited the orphanage here in Trolheim. She was there." She took a deep breath to calm herself. "They lied to us so we wouldn't find her."
Agdar looked at her for a minute, not uttering a word. Idunn was beginning to think he hadn't really understood her when he asked, "are you sure?"
She confirmed the bad news with a nod of her head. "She says it herself."
"Do you mean this?" Anna said, surprising both of them. Before Idunn could pay a look at the letter, Anna began reading…
"When I was eight I was living in Trolheim's orphanage. I can't be sure, but I guess I was there when you and Agdar went looking for me. I re-read your letters. I wrote down the dates you mentioned. I counted the years… It all adds up. I wish the nurses would have said something. I was so lonely at the time. I would have given anything to meet you. No-one knew I existed; and those who did, didn't care about me.
I'm thankful Kristoff found me around that time though. For some reason I cannot understand, Kristoff did care and he stayed by my side until the day he was adopted… "
A bang startled mother and daughter, who turned to look at Agdar who had hit the table with his fist.
"They fucking lied!" He yelled. "Right in our faces. We were desperately looking for our missing daughter and they lied. They forced us to stop looking. I can't believe this!"
Idunn tried to grab his hand to calm him down, but he stood up before she had the chance.
He walked a few steps away from the table and began pacing as he covered his face with his hands. "How could I've been so stupid – so gullible! Weselton and those 'caregivers' need to rot in hell."
"Calm down, Agdar."
"No. They will rot in hell. I'll make sure of it!" he yelled once again, not paying attention to his wife.
"We won't get involved, Agdar. And that's final." She knew he wasn't going to take the news lightly, for that reason she had tried to tell him the good things Elsa had shared with her.
He stopped pacing to look at her with a painful expression. "Idunn, she was there. Elsa was a few walls away from us! Don't tell me you're okay with this!"
Trying hard to remain calm, Idunn took a deep breath that she hoped could help Agdar calm down too. "Of course I'm not okay with this, Agdar. But I won't go against Elsa's wishes. Too many people have already done that…"
He opened his mouth to argue, but he closed it. It was clear he agreed with her in that regard, but still his anger was palpable. "I just wish for them to pay," he said in a low voice.
Idunn could only agree with him, but she didn't say anything. Instead, she looked at Anna and reassured her they were not going to do anything stupid.
---
Kristoff sighed as he climbed the stairs to his apartment after a long day. The last thing he had wanted to do that day was to work, but to his dismay his boss had called him soon after he had picked his truck in the early morning. He had apologised to a sleepy Elsa, and he had left in a hurry.
What he had hoped to be a short working day, had stretched and became an even-longer-than-usual day. He was exhausted; and what was worse, he hadn't been able to spend the previous night nor that morning with his sister. But at least, his boss had rewarded him with an off-day the following day.
As he opened the door, he wondered why Sven wasn't barking or jumping all over him, but he soon realised why. Against all odds, his sister had decided to stay in the city.
"Elsa?" he said, calling her attention. "What are you doing?"
Elsa looked around herself and then at Sven, who was by her side, before finally asking, "Setting the table?"
"I mean here!" said Kristoff with a smile.
"Did you have plans? I can leave if your friends are coming."
"You don't need to go anywhere," said Kristoff patiently, though he already wanted to smack her in the head. "And you know I wouldn't kick you out if my drunkard friends were coming. I didn't expect you to be here, that's all. I thought you had gone back to the mountain."
"I decided to stay and visit mum and dad. I wanted to have dinner with them but they had plans," she answered with a shrug. "So, I thought it was a good opportunity to have dinner together."
"Mum told you no? That's hard to believe." It wasn't a secret his mother had soft spot for Elsa after all.
"They had the anual dinner at the police station," Elsa explained while she arranged the dishes.
He left his jacket on the couch and walked to the kitchen ready to ask his sister what she had ordered, when he realised the stove was on and a tempting smell was coming from the pot. "Did you- did you cook dinner?"
"I tried. I hope it tastes as good as it smells."
Elsa seemed proud of her achievement, that was clear. The fact her food didn't smell like a burning building was in itself a miracle. "You cooked dinner."
"Don't start," she warned.
He looked inside the pot and was surprised to see a mouth-watering stew. In all their years together as brother and sister, Elsa had never been able to cook something that could be considered tempting, and Kristoff was not going to miss the opportunity to make fun of her. "Who are you and what have you done with my sister?"
Elsa pushed him to the side so she could have access to the food. "Stop goofing around and hand me those bowls."
"What did you cook?" Stew was the obvious answer, but it didn't look or smell like Gerda's typical.
"Hunter's stew."
"Where did you learn to cook that?"
"Just a recipe I found…"
Kristoff could hear the hesitation in his sister's voice. She wasn't being completely honest, but he had no idea why. "You aren't trying to poison me, are you?"
"Shut up and eat your food," said Elsa as she pushed the hot bowl against his chest.
"Alright, alright!" He laughed and sat down in his usual place. He took a cautious first bite. It didn't matter how much he loved his sister, he could never be careful enough while trying food she had made herself. This time, however, the food was the complete opposite of what he was expecting. It wasn't the best dish he had ever tried, it wasn't even in the top twenty. But the fact it tasted good and it wasn't burnt was in itself a great achievement. "Unbelievable."
"What?" asked Elsa, worried she had messed up once again.
"This is edible."
"You're an arse."
Kristoff laughed loudly, making fun of her was too easy at times. "It's a compliment."
"Sure, tell Anna she doesn't look hideous one day. I'm sure she'll love the compliment." She sat down and took a bite herself. A small smile drew on her face, for the first time in forever her food wasn't a total waste.
"I'm messing with you," said Kristoff with a smile of his own when he noticed how pleased his sister was with the dish she had made. "Thank you. I know you hate cooking, it means a lot you took the time to cook something for me. A warm meal was all I needed."
"I wanted to thank you for last night."
He looked at her with a curious expression. “Thank me?”
She played with her food as she tried to find the right words. “I know you hate fights and getting involved in them. You helped Marshmallow last night in spite of that.”
He tried not to read too much into Elsa’s gratitude. He was sure if Anna were there with them, she’d be making several conjectures about Elsa and Marshall’s relationship; but he was not going to. If his sister ever felt something for the mountaineer, he was sure he’d be the first person to find out. “I guess what Hans did to him was unfair,” said Kristoff . “Anna getting involved herself had a lot to do too.”
“He feels awful for dragging you and Anna into it. He said he'll try to repay you.”
“Tell him I appreciate the feeling, but all I want is for him to be more level-headed next time. I won't tolerate him yelling at you for his problems ever again.” He wasn’t sure how he felt about Marshall if he were honest. It was true he didn’t like him at the beginning, but with time Kristoff had realised the big guy didn’t have ulterior motives and he seemed to honestly care about Elsa. But the previous night, his concerns had returned. It was clear Marshall wasn’t himself when he got angry. “Tell me, Elsa, do you trust the guy?”
Elsa stopped eating and raised an eyebrow. “Of course I do.”
“Aren't you afraid of him?” Noticing the worry in his sister’s face he clarified, “I'm not saying he's a bad guy, it's just- he's even stronger than he seems. The guy's unstoppable. And he clearly can’t control his anger.”
“He once told me he has problems controlling his anger,” Elsa admitted. “He asked me to try and keep him grounded anyway I could if he ever lost his temper around me. I didn't think much of it at the time.”
Elsa’s explanation did nothing to calm his nerves. How could she stay so calm around a man like him. “You’re not doing a good job convincing me I shouldn’t be concerned, sister.”
Contrary to what he expected, a small smile appeared on his sister’s face. “Last night I understood what you and Gerda have been trying to explain to me all these years. I can't blame myself – or Marshall in this case – for things we can't control. Marshall has anger management problems, but he tries hard to be a better person. I see guilt written on his face whenever he realises he has lost control…”
Kristoff gaped at his sister and all of a sudden understood her reasons. It didn’t take a genius to see why Elsa could relate so much with him.
“I see no reason not to trust him,” she concluded with a shrug. “You trusted me from the start, didn’t you?”
“Yeah… I did.” He felt like an idiot for not giving his sister more credit. After all, she was his shitty people detector, it was ridiculous not to trust her in this situation too. “Anna mentioned something similar last night. She said not helping Marshall would be like not helping you. Needless to say, it changed my mind about helping him immediately.” Maybe Anna hadn’t meant for him to share that information with Elsa, but it was the truth.
“No matter the reason, you helped him and that means a lot to me. Thank you.”
Brother and sister finished their food, but stayed at the table talking for a while. It had been a long time since they had had the chance to spend some time together, so they took the opportunity to talk about each other’s life, about Sven, and the family; just the way they used to do when they were still living together.
It didn’t take long for them to start talking about work. Kristoff told her about his relationship with his boss and how he was sure he’d get a promotion in the near future. It wasn’t a sure deal, but he was certain he was the best guy for the job. Elsa, on her part, told him about her plans for the season, and how her leg was practically at its full capacity once again.
“Are you still thinking about Marshall becoming your business partner?” asked Kristoff when he noticed Elsa didn’t seem so worried about the way she was going to organise her business.
“About that…” she said with a nervous smile. “We talked about it last night.”
“What?”
“He said yes in a heartbeat.”
“Didn't you say you were going to think about it a bit more?”
“We work well together. I think we can help each other out,” she said matter-of-factly.
“Are you sure concealing your powers won’t become a problem in the long run?”
“It'll be fine.” Elsa gave him a knowing look. It was obvious she could see he was more worried than it was necessary. “I promise.”
Raising his hands in the air, he said, “If you think it’s a good idea, then I trust you. Just take care of yourself. I know it's physically challenging to keep your powers under control sometimes.”
He felt like a nuisance with his overprotectiveness, but all he wanted was the best for his family; but Elsa’s grin told him she wasn’t annoyed at all. They had come a long way together since they met and they both understood the other’s concerns.
“I truly think this arrangement is for the best. I know for a fact I can't keep working on my own, and Marshmallow will take a lot of responsibilities off my shoulders. Especially the business part. He knows more than me about this.”
He was surprised to see Elsa so eager for what was to come. For the first time, he saw her completely relaxed about what was to come and how her powers could affect her plans. Who was he to ruin her happiness with his concerns? “Then, I'm glad you found a way to keep working on your own. I'd hate to see you working for someone like Hans.”
She scoffed at the mere idea. “I wouldn’t work for him, not even for all the chocolate in the world after what he did to Marshmallow.”
“That’s all I wanted to hear.”
---
After an emotionally taxing day, Agdar entered his bedroom ready to call it a night. He wanted to forget for a moment the injustices of life and rest before he needed to face another week. Ever since Elsa had shown up in their life, he had tried to bury himself in work, hoping to find some distraction from the guilt that was eating him alive. But that unhealthy solution had only worked for a short time; lately, he found himself getting more and more distracted at work, and every new week was a challenge.
He was certain this new week was going to be even more difficult than the previous one. This time he was angry about the fact people in Trolheim’s orphanage had lied to his face. And what was worse, he could only blame himself for it. He had trusted Weselton, he had abandoned his daughter and, what was worse, he was the one who had bought their lies. Whenever he thought about how utterly stupid he had been, he wanted to punch himself in the face. Sadly, he needed to keep a formal appearance for his company, if not, he was sure he would have already done it.
He closed his bedroom door silently, thinking his wife was already asleep. But to his surprise, she was still up, sitting on his desk. “You're already writing a new letter, aren't you?” he asked, already knowing the answer. The thrill of receiving Elsa’s letter had given his wife renewed energy, and she had been talking about it all day.
“Yes! I'm so excited. I never imagined she would answer.”
She didn’t need to say it for him to notice. Anna and Idunn were two sides of the same coin, especially when they were excited.
“And you were right about Helga! It took her some time, but she was able to find the book Elsa was talking about,” she said, as she handed him a brown paper bag.
“Really?” he asked. He knew Helga was really good at identifying books and stories, the old woman had read more stories than she could tell, but he never thought she was going to find it so soon. “That was fast.”
He took the book from inside the bag and paid a good look at it. For a moment he pondered about the different ways perceived the world based on their experiences. To him, children's books were nothing but that. Children’s books. It was clear that for Elsa, however, a children’s book could mean so much more. He smiled sadly, as he guessed that for her it was going to be like meeting an old friend. Pain and guilt washed over him once again at that realisation.
“She spent over an hour looking at the old children's books in her deposit,” Idunn continued, unaware of her husband’s sadness. “I'll send the book with this letter, see? I'm sure she'll like the surprise.”
He smiled at her and handed her the book. It was nice to see one of them was looking at the glass half full. “It's the happiest I've seen you in a very long time,” he commented.
“Why do you say it as if it were a bad thing?” she asked, turning around in her chair to look at him.
“No reason.” He hadn’t meant to sound pessimistic.
“Agdar…”
Finding no good reason to lie to his wife, he said, “I don't want you or Anna to get hurt. Elsa's got her reasons to be weary of us.” It pained him to know it was true. “And we can't force her to meet us if she doesn't want to. I'd hate the idea of seeing the two of you disappointed if things don't end up the way you're hoping.”
Idunn stayed silent for a minute, giving Agdar enough time to beat himself internally several times for giving her a reason to worry.
“Then let's try to prove Elsa she can trust us. She might surprise us,” she said enthusiastically, not letting his worries affect her.
He leaned down and kissed her temple. Her strength had always helped him in the bad times, and this time in particular was no exception. “Weren't you the one who said we should give Elsa some time?” he asked, honestly curious.
“I won't pressure her to meet us. I only want to talk to her. Let her know who we are… and get to know her better…” She turned to him and asked, “is that a bad thing?”
“No, of course not.” It was the perfect thing to do in his opinion, as long as they didn’t overwhelm Elsa. “What are you writing about?”
Idunn picked the letter she had been writing and paid a look. “I told her about Helga and how we found the book. Now I'm recommending some books to her. In her letter, she said she spent hours on end reading stories as a teenager.”
“I thought she was just learning how to read and write…”
“She learnt when she was fifteen years old, Agdar.” He chuckled at the tiredness in her tone of voice. She was talking to him the way she used to when Anna was a kid and he forgot every single detail about her dance classes. “Anna says she only struggles with more difficult academic words or concepts.”
Idunn then looked at him and asked, “Is there anything you'd like to ask her?”
“Me? Are you sure?” For some reason he couldn’t explain, he was certain Elsa wouldn’t like to hear from him.
“Of course. Why don’t you ask her if she likes hockey?”
“What kind of question is that?” he laughed.
“She’s a ski instructor,” Idunn said as if it was the most obvious reason in the world. “I’m sure she enjoys all kinds of sports. Besides, Anna never paid attention to the game. Weren’t you the one who always complained she wouldn’t accompany you to the arena?”
“Yes, but-”
“Just talk to her, Agdar,” she said, noticing her husband’s hesitation. “Let her know you care. Sometimes, a simple question means more than you think.”
“I guess I could write to her…” If he was honest with himself, there were so many things he wanted to learn about her. Her hobbies, favourite kind of music, about her business… Everything. He wanted to learn everything about her. He wanted to made up for all those years they weren’t there for her too.
As if she had read his mind, Idunn said, “you’ll feel better if you do, trust me. Just, don’t pressure her.”
“I won’t,” he reassured her.
“I know you won’t.” She stood up from the chair and kissed him on the top of his head. “I’m going to bed.”
---
After cleaning the dishes, Kristoff and Elsa lay on the couch with Sven and continued talking about everything and nothing. It was as if they were back to their younger years without a worry in the world; whenever Kai and Gerda had to leave town, they’d stay up late into the night just spending time together. Playing cards or simply listening to music.
The memory made Elsa realise the opportunity was perfect for her to learn how to play truco. More importantly, to learn how to beat Anna.
“Do you know how to play Truco?” she asked her brother all of a sudden.
“The card game Anna loves so much?” he asked. “Sure.”
“Can you teach me how to play?”
“I thought you already knew how to play.”
“I know the rules,” she clarified. “But I can't beat Anna. No matter how hard I try.”
Kristoff laughed wholeheartedly, clearly aware of her competitiveness. “I can't believe you're putting more effort into this than improving your handwriting.”
Elsa scoffed, faking annoyance. “Why is everyone so obsessed with my handwriting?”
“It's illegible.”
“Will you teach me how to play or not?” she asked, wanting to avoid talking about the fact she hadn’t tried to improve her handwriting in months.
“Go fetch the deck, it's inside my desk’s drawer,” answered Kristoff, as he pointed to the door of his room. “I'll teach you how to read Anna's expressions. She's easy to read once you know what to expect from her.”
“Thank you!” Elsa jumped from her seat and went into the room not wanting to waste any second. She was going to surprise Anna next time they played.
She opened the drawer and had to rummage through his things to find it. When she finally did, she was nonplussed to see the velvet box which was behind the deck of cards.
“Is this…?” she murmured to herself and picked it up to examine it. Inside the black box there was a golden ring with the most beautiful orange stone Elsa had ever seen.
Not being able to stop her curiosity, she walked out the room and surprised her brother with the question, “Kristoff… Are you planning to propose to Anna?” As she showed him the box she had found.
“What?!” Kristoff stood from the couch and walked towards Elsa, taking the box from her hands. “Where did you get this?”
Her brother’s anger called her attention. “It was inside the drawer.”
“And you thought it was okay to open the box?” he said in anger.
“It was open,” Elsa said, excusing herself. “You can't blame me when you leave an engagement ring lying around.” She saw him sigh and sat down once again. “Are you going to propose?”
“I was…” he said after a minute in silence. “A couple of months ago.”
“You were?” That didn’t sound okay. At first Elsa was hurt Kristoff hadn’t shared his intentions with her, but now she was truly curious and a little concerned. “What made you change your mind? I thought things were okay between you two…”
“Things are fine. Don't worry.”
“Why did you change your mind then?”
“It doesn't matter,” he answered in a low voice.
Elsa knew something wasn’t right. Kristoff wouldn’t buy an engagement ring only to change his mind. Something had happened, and it worried her. “It does matter.”
“I don't want to talk about it, Els.”
The nickname he rarely used let her see he was actually begging her not to ask too many questions. “Fine…” she agreed, letting him off the hook. But still, she had to ask her original question. “Why didn't you tell me? I would have loved helping you pick the ring. Though you clearly didn’t need my help, it’s beautiful.”
Kristoff smiled. “It was months ago. You couldn't move or leave the house at the time.”
Thinking about his answer, Elsa realised the only time she was unable to move was the first month after the accident. “You've had the ring since January? I can't believe you haven't said anything in over–” She stopped herself mid sentence when she realised the reason Kristoff didn’t want to talk about the ring. “You changed your mind after you found out Anna is my sister, didn't you?”
“As I said, it doesn't matter.” He closed the velvet box and put it inside his pocket.
Elsa opened her mouth in astonishment . “I can't believe this… You threw away your plans because of what happened? Why would you do that?”
“Why would I?” he exclaimed. “Are you listening to yourself? The world came crashing down on you and Anna, Elsa. I couldn't ask her to marry me when I couldn't look Agdar in the face anymore.” He was surprised his sister didn’t see the obvious reason. “I couldn't ask for the man's blessing when all I wanted to do was punch him in the face.”
“But Anna and you love each other.” That was all that mattered. Elsa walked to the couch and sat by his side. “You don't need to put your life on hold for me or Agdar… You don't need to punch him in the face either.,” she murmured as an afterthought.
“I know but–” A tired sigh stopped him. “You mean a lot to me. All I want is to see you happy.”
“And I want to see you happy.” Elsa couldn’t understand why he was being so dense. “I know for a fact Anna makes you happy. Don't be an idiot and ask her to marry you.”
“If I do, I’ll need to give the Arendelles a second chance,” he said, looking her in the eye.
“So?”
“So?” he repeated. “Don’t you mind?”
“Of course not, Kristoff. They are Anna's parents,” said Elsa with a small laugh. “It’s as if you stopped talking to them just because of me.” His sheepish smile told Elsa all she needed to know. “You haven't talked to them all this time, have you?”
“No.”
“For goodness sake, Kristoff!” Her brother’s loyalty was truly unbelievable. “I knew you were on my side on this, but I never thought you stopped talking to them altogether!” Elsa pinched the bridge of her nose, exasperated. “Please, stop making things harder for you and Anna. Go talk to them.”
“Are you sure?”
Her heart warmed at Kristoff’s hesitation. She wasn’t sure what she had done to have someone like him in her life. “They care about you, Kristoff. I noticed it the night we had dinner together. You're part of their family.”
“What are you going to do?” he asked, surprising her.
“About what?”
“About your birth parents…” He scratched the back of his head, unsure if it was okay for him to ask. “Will you give them a second chance? I know you gave Anna a letter addressed to them.”
“Oh… I- I don’t know” she hesitated. “Idunn sent me some letters which let me see things in a different light. I'm still not sure what to do, but I guess answering back was a start.” She took a deep breath, “If I have to be honest, I only read them because I knew it would make Anna happy.”
A grin appeared on his face as he gave Elsa a side hug, “You're a great sister, did you know that?”
Elsa wasn’t sure if he was talking about him or Anna, or both. But she answered anyway. “Anna’s the reason I didn't burn those letters. I'm glad I didn't, though. I guess I needed to hear their side of things…”

Guess who’s back, people?! That’s right, my inspiration!
I am so, so sorry for the delay. When I uploaded the previous chapter in February I knew I was going to take some time off. I didn’t have many things written at the time, and I was about to start working on an entrepreneurship I want to start officially in a few months. The thing is, to be able to meet my own personal deadlines I have to work whenever I have free time from my regular job, which as you may guess isn’t a lot. So, all things combined, resulted in this delay.
I want to assure you I am not planning on abandoning this story. Every night, before I go to bed, I try to write one or two lines. I always end up changing some things, and correcting others. But rest assured that I always devote some time to Søsken (I even have some things written for an after story, which also took a lot of time from my hands.)
I also want to let you know that I read each and every comment and I love them. I treasure them a lot! I will try to answer all of you in the following days.
BTW, that entrepreneurship I was telling you about has some things to do with Frozen and Fandoms in general. I’m working on my own art toys collection, so if any of you are interested in seeing my main hobby, just send me a message.
Anyway, that’s all for now folks! Please leave a review saying what you loved / hated about the chapter. I was definitely rusty this time and I wouldn’t be surprised if you find several mistakes, but I didn’t want to delay this any longer.
