Look, the first time I talked about my Ben Solo + Poe Dameron = reluctant and perpetually irritated cousins who aren’t even related headcanon, I described the dynamic I was imagining as Ash and Kristofferson from Fantastic Mr. Fox (Ash even wears a cape! I mean, c’mon!).

And now it just occurred to me…the titular Mr. Fox is Ash’s dad and just has to perform one last heist for personal reasons (the reasons are he’s bored with life tbh), and that just feels like a bored Han move, does it not?
