Ultimate X-Men is a ride and a half.

Like holly fucking shit these characters are horrible people. The writing is terrible and gross, wolverine is like the worst and just like what, where is the direction of this????

For real though I feel like this whole comic series is a fic with a great premise but just written so badly that you are forcing yourself to try and read through because it’s the only one with the tags you want

Like I going to keep reading this cause it is like watching a car crash but I can understand why no one likes this series

#ultimate x men #this whole series has an amazing premise and one of the best opening panels #the sentinel just outright squished the guy and set the stakes #and the whole news reel expo as well set the scene and I had high hopes #and then you know… everything that came after #I feel gross reading some of the dialogue #wolverine lusting after 19 yr old jean and having sex with her and no one raises any concerns there?#the whole conversation with Jean and storm about how they are goinb to 20 something soon and thus ugly #the misogyny holy shit so much of it!#and also why are the characters drawn like that? why?!!!#I am going to take these charactistics and use them for another au I am planing to write later on #because terrible people are great for agnst
